В статье анализируются истоки формирования региональной традиции оформления бестиариев епархии Пассау. Материалом исследования послужили миниатюры к главам о гиене в рукописях XIII–XIV веков, созданных в аббатствах Альдерсбах и Фюрстенфельд. Влияние региональных особенностей изучается в рамках прослеживающихся в XIII веке «отклонений» в иконографических схемах бестиариев от традиции, сформированной в XII столетии. Цель работы состоит в определении предпосылок для отказа от распространенной иконографической схемы «гиена, поедающая труп» при подготовке рукописи. Названная схема встречается в бестиариях английской линии и французских сборниках зоологических статей, главным источником ее формирования являются античные и позднеантичные изображения поединков животных. Иконографическая схема, которая получает в работе название «обнимающиеся гиены», ограничивается католическими монастырями епархии Пассау, в том числе аббатствами Альдерсбах и Фюрстенфельд. На основе иконографического анализа миниатюр выявлены значительные и незначительные трансформации иконографических схем. С помощью сравнительного и исторического методов исследования сделано предположение, что использование принципиально новой иконографической схемы может быть объяснено особенностями текстовой версии Dicta Chrysostomi, в которой акцент сделан на двуполой природе гиены, с одной стороны. С другой стороны, рассматривается уже сформированная в скрипториях епархии Пассау традиция изображения существа, стоящего на задних лапах. Она встречается в бестиарии XII века, бестиарии группы Dicta Chrysostomi Clm, Bsb 3206 (XIII–XIV веков), а также в книге образцов Рейна. Третьей причиной представляются религиозная трактовка особенности гиены и стремление художника подчеркнуть двойственность, лживость ее природы как метафору человеческого вероотступничества и идолопоклонства. The article analyses the origins of the formation of the regional tradition of bestiary painting in the Diocese of Passau. The study focuses on miniatures depicting the hyena in manuscripts from the 13th–14th centuries, created in the abbeys of Aldersbach and Fürstenfeld. The influence of regional peculiarities is examined within the framework of traceable 13th-century divergence in the iconographic schemes of bestiaries from the 12th-century design tradition. The aim of the study is to determine the preconditions for the rejection of the common iconographic scheme of the "hyena eating a corpse" in the preparation of the manuscript. The 'embracing hyenas' iconographic scheme found in English and French bestiaries is believed to have been formed based on ancient and late antique depictions of animal duels. This scheme is limited to the abbeys of the Diocese of Passau, including the abbeys of Aldersbach and Fürstenfeld. An analysis of the miniatures reveals both significant and minor transformations of the iconographic schemes. Comparative and historical research methods were applied to determine that the use of a fundamentally new iconographic scheme can be explained, on the one hand, by the peculiarities of the textual version of the Dicta Chrysostomi, which emphasises the “bisexual” nature of the hyena, and, on the other hand, by the tradition already established in the scriptoria of the Diocese of Passau. Additionally, the tradition of depicting the creature standing on its hind legs, which was already formed in the scriptoria of the Diocese of Passau, is taken into account. The tradition mentioned above is present in various sources, including the twelfth-century bestiary, the bestiary of the Dicta Chrisostomi group, Clm Bsb 3206 (13th–14th centuries), and the Rhine specimen book. The third reason appears to be the religious interpretation of the hyena's peculiarity and the artist's desire to emphasise the duality and deceitfulness of its nature as a metaphor for human apostasy and idolatry.

In the context of Dmitry Alexandrovich Prigov’s audacious “lifelong” project, an encyclopedic perspective can be traced quite clearly through various approaches, languages and methodologies throughout the artist’s creative career. Prigov’s Bestiaries not only deviate from the traditional path of encyclopedic genealogy; they are the prototype of later, more pronounced taxonomic projects, and even act as a reference to what he called his “lifelong project”. Our task is to show how the Bestiaries series is not only a study of the Russian cultural space, but is also the very concept of Prigov’s anthropology from the beginning of the history of culture to the present day in a post-Soviet and even post-human perspective, thus asserting itself as a proto-encyclopedia of his New Anthropology. In the process of researching, methods such as theoretical, general philosophical analyses (systemic method, analysis, analogy, synthesis) were used, including the analysis of texts, interviews and artistic production of Prigov. The sociological methods are also taken as the basis for drawing conclusions and the main approach moves from a semiotic and poststructuralist point of view, especially the theory of culture of Yuri Lotman, the philosophy of Giorgio Agamben and George Bataille. Thus, we have outlined the importance of the Bestaries in presenting the theory of cultural evolution of Dmitry Prigov and his “new anthropology”, referring to this series on the role of the visual conclusion of his new anthropological system

The paper presents the results of a complex study of the collection of zoomorphic figurines from the Upper Palaeolithic site of Malta in the Angara region of Eastern Siberia. The materials described and analyzed in the paper were obtained during the excavations by M. M. Gerasimov in 1928—1958 and are currently divided between four museums in Saint Petersburg, Moscow and Irkutsk. Based on morphometric, stylistic, technological and use wear analyses in combination with zoological, archaeozoological and ethnographic evidence, the authors propose new classification and interpretation of the zoomorphic figurines they studied. The Malta zoomorphic sculpture is notable for its realism, attention to details and sophisticated techniques of manufacture and decoration. The proposed classification forms the basis of the information system “Art of Malta culture”.

Полевые исследования памятников Амуро-Уссурийской провинции наскального искусства в 2018-2019 гг. позволили существенно уточнить корпус уже известных изображений и выявить новые. Исследования выполнялись на трёх памятниках наскального искусства Хабаровского края (на р. Амур и р. Уссури): СикачиАлян, Шереметьево, Кия. Целью проекта документирования памятников было создание точных и детальных карт расположения петроглифов документирование камней и плоскостей с петроглифами современными техническими средствами и выявление ранее неизвестных наскальных изображений. Для документирования применялась фотосъемка с фотограмметрической обработкой цифровых фотоснимков и формированием текстурированных полигональных моделей камней и поверхностей с петроглифами. В результате камеральной обработки моделей было выявлено 29 неизвестных ранее петроглифов и существенно уточнены контуры 17 изображений. Значительно пополнился бестиарий памятников Сикачи-Алян (пункт 1 и 2), Шереметьево (пункт 3). По данным документирования памятников экспедициями под руководством А.А. Окладникова в 1970-е гг. основным сюжетом петроглифов Сикачи-Аляна является лось. Считалось, что изображения лося преобладают среди зооморфных образов петроглифов Амура и Уссури. На 2 пункте Сикачи-Алян до настоящего времени было зафиксировано 14 камней с изображениями фигур лосей, в петроглифах Шереметьево их 3, а среди Киинских 1. Однако в ходе последнего этапа документирования выявляются новые изображения кабанов и грызунов, коРис. 1. Сикачи-Алян, пункт 2. Новое изображение (карта высот, сформированная на основе полигональной модели камня). которые по совокупности преобладают над изображениями лосей на всех указанных памятниках. В докладе представлены уточнения прорисовок на камнях 9 (Сикачи-Алян, пункт 1), 37, 51 и 69 (Сикачи-Алян, пункт 2). Выявлены новые зооморфные изображения на памятниках Сикачи-Алян (пункт 2, рис.1) и Шереметьево (пункт 3).
