Resumen
The article substantiates the relevance and necessity of organizing vocational guidance work at school and, in particular, at primary school; a brief research analysis on the stated problem has been carried out; the interpretation of the concepts «profession», «guidance», «vocational guidance», «vocational guidance work in the educational process of vocational education and training», «professional self-determination» has been presented; the essence of the concept of «vocational guidance work with primary schoolchildren» has been defined. The principles of building a complete system of vocational guidance, vocational guidance areas, and key competencies of the National Academy of Sciences, on which the vocational guidance at school should be based, have been defined. The psychological and pedagogical aspects of vocational guidance work organization with junior schoolchildren have been defined: the goal, tasks, propaedeutic stage results of vocational guidance; taking into account the age characteristics and needs of primary schoolchildren in the context of professional self-determination; areas of vocational guidance work with pupils of 1-4 grades; separate forms of extracurricular activities and the classroom form of learning organization (integrated course «I explore the world»).

<p class="IATED-Affiliation">This paper summarizes the achievements and aspects to be improved in vocational guidance in Lithuanian general education schools in order to stimulate discussion about the experience in vocational guidance. The object of the research is an analysis of achievements and challenges in vocational guidance in Lithuanian general education schools. The aim of the research is to present and summarize the results of the analysis. The results suggest that Lithuania has managed to develop a vocational guidance system with infrastructure and monitoring. However, further development of the system of vocational guidance is hindered by changes of vocational guidance priorities, ongoing discussions about the concepts of vocational guidance and its definition as well as their interpretation within the system, lack of professional research, absence of systemic evaluation of the competence of the authorities that coordinate vocational guidance, difference in the experience of specialists and structural units in collaboration with scientists, when such cooperation is poor or even non-existent.</p><p class="IATED-Affiliation"> </p>

The link between academic motivation and vocational guidance work is rarely raised in specialized literature. The study presented has revealed a significant positive influence of individual vocational guidance work with adolescents on their academic motivation. The authors studied the change in academic motivation of 14-18 year-old adolescents after vocational guidance work, assessed it qualitatively, and compared influence of two popular methods of occupational guidance upon academic motivation of adolescents comparing these results with PROF.Navigator author’s method of occupational guidance. More efficiency of the author’s method has been proved, in terms of the influence on the level of academic motivation of adolescents due to a thorough psychological and professional diagnosis, a more extensive vocational guidance work, and a lasting impact of vocational guidance work.

Resumen
The purpose – of this article is to assess the vocational guidance situation and development opportunities in Lithuania. Research methodology – Systematic analysis of the peculiarities of vocational guidance; identification of the main problems and possibilities for vocational guidance through the development of a qualifications system based on the results of statistical analysis, expert assessment, data grouping and interpretation. Findings – Vocational guidance as an important subsystem of the educational system is being underemphasised and underfinanced, career counselling is pursued in a fragmentary manner, mainly through project-based initiatives which are not be based on systematic information. A way to improve vocational guidance is to organise it as an integrated information platform linked to the qualifications system. Research limitations – The main limitation is the lack of official statistics in vocational guidance. The systematic collection and publication of statistics would make it possible to quantify and analyse the factors of the current vocational guidance situation and their impact on the development of human resources. Practical implications – The obtained results are useful for social and economic and educational policy-making. Originality/Value – The article contributes to the scientific literature by presenting a model of vocational guidance development related to the development of the qualifications system, which would allow providing the necessary access to information.

Resumen
Personal guidance centers on problems of personality, physical and emotional development, interpersonal relations and similar matters. But vocational guidance given to students may or may not influence their career after graduation. This study thus examined extent at which vocational guidance influence career decision of vocational and technical students. This is a descriptive research design of the survey type. 220 technical students were sampled all technical education students in Ilorin metropolis. Frequency count and mean were used answer the research questions and Hypothesis was tested with t-test at 0.05 level of significance. The findings established that vocational guidance has been able to influence career decision making of vocational and technical education students to a high extent. Also, there was no significant difference in the impact of vocational guidance on career choice of junior and senior vocational and technical education students. It was therefore recommended that Vocational and Technology Education students should be exposed to the importance of guidance services and what counseling is all about in order for them to make good career decisions.

The beginning of the vocational guidance in Argentina was based on detecting personal characteristics regarding working abilities, and many social aspects were considered in the assessment process. In this country, increasing social exclusion as a product of poverty, lack of opportunities, unemployment and poor level of education, have introduced new aspects in vocational guidance considerations related to this new set of high level structural complexity. The professional responsibility in providing vocational guidance in such context is analyzed considering two kinds of sources: ethical standards of psychology, and specific competencies of vocational guidance.

From 1940 to 1944, apprenticeship, vocational training and vocational guidance were a bone of contention between the Direction of Technical Training and the General Secretariat for Youth - a new administration created by the Vichy government. The balance of influence being as it is, both vocational guidance and the vocational training of qualified workers seem to fall under the responsibility of the Secretariat. After a period of cooperation ending in a crisis, a partition intervened. The Secretariat received the responsibility of the vocational training and guidance of young people in “Vocational Training Centers”. Meanwhile, the implementation of the Labour Charter called in question the responsibility of the Ministry of Education over technical schools and apprenticeship. A transfer of competencies towards professional corporations was considered, implying overall control by other ministries. In this context, the problem of vocational guidance would necessarily have been reviewed. These ups and downs explain the stand taken by the vocational guidance services after the Liberation, which led to a much closer integration within the ministry of Education.

This paper aims to explain the results of research on teacher career guidance conducted by the principal of vocational school. As for the indicators are 1) providing motivation 2) implementing job rotation 3) opportunity to participate in training/upgrading 4) opportunity to continue education. The study population numbered 75 teachers at Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan 3 Padang. Samples were taken using stratified random sampling technique, so that a sample of 54 respondents were obtained. The research instrument used in the form of a questionnaire compiled in the form of a Likert Scale model and tested for validity using the formula of the hierarchical correlation and reliability test using the alpha formula. The index of validity and reliability is significant at 95% confidence level. Analysis of data research using the average formula. The results of data analysis of the research show that the average teacher career guidance by the principal with a score of 3.50, which means that it is in the category quite good. With this it can be concluded that career guidance by the principal is still not optimal yet. So it needs a more effort from the principal so that the teacher's career guidance takes place as expected.

The authors consider the concepts of «networking» and «career-oriented networking», reveal the essence of «online» and «real» networking. The article explains the option of «real-networking», successfully implemented at Vologda State University, in the form of a set of vocational guidance activities for applicants. The authors also pay attention to the project in the field of vocational guidance networking – «The First Profession» for students in grades 8–11 of educational institutions, which started in Vologda Region on February 1, 2022.

Vocational and professional guidance for students entering higher education is essential to ensure success in the learning process and professional practice. This research aims to compare self-reported careers and vocational and professional orientation test results by types of vocational guidance. Using descriptive, docu-mentary, and field research with a mixed approach, we explore the vocational ori-entation test of 3,692 students in 13 public schools in the city of Ibarra in Ecua-dor. The test consisted of 98 dichotomous items identifying vocational interests and aptitudes using a computer-based questionnaire in Kobotoolbox. The instru-ment’s validity was evaluated using Cronbach’s Alpha and reliabity was estimat-ing using McDonald’s Omega coefficients. The Chi-square test was used to compare self-reported careers and the CHASIDE test results by vocational and professional guidance of the students using the R-studio software. Results showed significant differences between students’ self-reported careers and the CHASIDE. Indeed, the corre-spondence between the two showed values lower than 50% since a family mem-ber mainly did vocational guidance processes and professional guidance was nonexistent. Results suggest the importance of vocational guidance done by a professional before entering higher education institutions to minimize the risk of dropouts among students after mistakenly choosing a career.

Resumen
The concept of vocational guidance and counseling in vocational high schools (SMK) plays a crucial role in shaping the future of students. A recent study conducted at SMKS Teknologi YPL Lirik aimed to explore the general overview of guidance and counseling implementation, the steps taken by school principals and teachers, and the challenges faced in this aspect. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the researchers directly collected data through interviews, documentation, and involving key stakeholders such as the school principal, vice principal of student affairs, subject teachers, class advisors, guidance counselors, and students. The gathered data was then analyzed through a process of reduction and interpreted qualitatively to draw conclusions. According to the interviews conducted with school officials, it was revealed that the current guidance and counseling practices at SMKS Teknologi YPL Lirik are inadequate. This is evident from the students' behavior, which tends to be naughty or undisciplined due to family or community environmental factors. To achieve holistic character education through guidance and counseling, the school must establish good cooperation with parents, maintain direct communication with them in case of any issues at school, and find solutions collaboratively to foster positive character growth in both the family and school environments. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the importance of enhancing guidance and counseling practices in vocational high schools to better support students in their personal and academic development. By addressing challenges and strengthening collaboration between school stakeholders, SMKS Teknologi YPL Lirik can create a more conducive environment for students to thrive and succeed in their vocational endeavors.

Vocational guidance in the Soviet system of education was considered a high priority of institutional socialisation. Industrialisation and technical modernisation dictated and regulated changes in perception of labour training and vocational guidance and encouraged to promote economically required and favourable occupations in the public discourse. However, in reality, the attempt of the educational staff to direct pupils to vocational education facilities did not correspond with the expectations of parents and children regarding their future. Moreover, children’s choices for future occupations were far from accompanying socialist slogans. In order to reveal this complex phenomenon, the article analyses the systematic, theoretical, and practical implementations of vocational guidance in the educational environment of Soviet Lithuania. The research revealed that educational framework for vocational guidance in Soviet Lithuania was receptive to the changes introduced by educational reforms throughout the Soviet nion. It reflected the government’s economic, technical, and agricultural modernization as well as the increasing necessity of specialized manpower and blue–collar workers. The 1970s was the turning point for vocational guidance infrastructure in Lithuania – a huge institutional development took place. Moreover, state administration sectors responsible for economic welfare imposed their considerable influence on the educational system. The modernisation of the educational discourse in Soviet Lithuania in the 1960s–1970s changed the perception of vocational training in the educational system. Labour ducation and vocational guidance became the focus of the Soviet educational discourse and offered a child–oriented vocational guidance framework, which was based on the knowledge of the child, motivational, and interest related education. However, this sophisticated approach was used to manipulate children and to ensure adequate supply of professionals for various key industries, alongside with the implementation of ideological tasks. The actual practices of labour education and professional choices among children were influenced by family values, teachers’ approaches, and different socioeconomic conditions that surrounded children in the rural and urban environment. Due to the agricultural structure and collectivization in rural areas, children there were used to physical work. Therefore, their labour education included helping collective farm workers and their own parents during harvest periods. Meanwhile faster modernisation of urban educational spaces and more advanced technical possibilities determined that labour education of children from urban areas was less intense in terms of physical work. The development of the infrastructure of post-school activities in urban areas allowed children to get acquainted with different professions and activities. These circumstances were crucial when making a decision for future professional choices. Children’s future occupational decisions were also influenced by the concept of “prestige profession” (lawyer, doctor, engineer etc.) that circulated among parents and children during our research period. This concept was exceptionally strong among cultural and political elite families; therefore, their children most frequently went for higher education. Meanwhile childhood in rural areas based on physical work, determined the urge to escape these difficult conditions. nsequently, these pupils were considering non–manual occupations. However, their strong urge to help the family sometimes left them in an ambivalent position and their work choices were made in favour of the family. These contradictory practises led to the emergence of “vocational misguidance” when only unapt, ill-behaved or ideologically upstart pupils were guided to vocational training institutions.

This study is a development using the 4D model (Define, Design, Depelovment, Dissemination). The instrument used in this study is a non-test instrument that is inventory development tasks. Data were analyzed and produce an annual program bimbinan and vocational counseling. This product is validated by expert guidance and counseling as well as in the validation by the practitioner / teacher guidance and counseling in schools. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The annual program of vocational guidance and counseling in the overall in both categories with some revisions based on advice and input from experts.

Resumen
The article examines the psychological and pedagogical aspects of vocational guidance and self-determination of high school students with the choice of future profession in the development of the New Ukrainian school. Mechanisms of professional self-determination and the capacity building of professional self-improvement of high school students in the context of transformational processes in the labour market in the digital economy are considered. It is established that one of the ways to increase the effectiveness of professional self-determination of student youth is the introduction into the educational process of methods of psychological and pedagogical design of career guidance measures aimed at forming the potential of professional self-improvement in high school students. The conceptual principles of professional orientation in the New Ukrainian school are revealed. The expected results of vocational guidance reform for all participants of the vocational guidance process in the New Ukrainian School are presented. The development of specialized training in high school is characterized as well as the need for lifelong learning, the importance of continuous personal and professional development. Ways to improve the career guidance process at the local level are highlighted. In the system of vocational guidance, it is very important to take into account the interests of the regional labour market. Career guidance in a community is an ecosystem that ensures its socio-economic development, and financial support for career guidance at the local level is an investment in human capital and sustainable community development. The advantages of organizing vocational guidance at the local level are a significant increase in opportunities for interaction with employers on vocational guidance of students, the creation and use of modern infrastructure. The functioning of educational and vocational hubs and career development centres based on educational institutions sounds promising, there students can try themselves in a particular profession, participate in projects for community and regional development.

This study aims to investigate the science education majors’ experiences of career guidance, vocational self-concept, and self-perceived employability, as well as the relationships among these variables in the Taiwanese context based on the developmental-contextual model of career development. Data were collected from a questionnaire survey of 614 science education majors in the selected Taiwanese universities. It was found that the science education majors’ experiences of career guidance directly and indirectly influenced their self-perceived employability vis-à-vis the effect on their vocational self-concept. The findings suggest that the science education departments of universities in Taiwan may provide sufficient and appropriate career guidance and vocational information for science education majors to promote their vocational self-concept and employability. Resumen
The author of the article has presented the results of the analysis of national approaches to the implementation of vocational guidance work among young people for the selection of police specialties. On this basis the author has singled out problematic issues in each of the vocational guidance areas (professional information, professional counseling, professional selection and professional adaptation). A number of general problems of vocational guidance among young people has been considered. The author has emphasized the general and special shortcomings in the organization and conduction of vocational guidance in regard to professional choice in general and professions related to the service in the units of the National Police of Ukraine, in particular. The general shortcomings include both the peculiarities of the organization of vocational guidance (lack of a unified system of vocational guidance work, insufficient level of interaction between the participants in the process of vocational guidance, lack of an individual, differentiated and phased approach to each individual while implementing professional choice, etc.) and its content component (low level of awareness of children, parents and teachers regarding the existing social professional inquiry; improper attention to the motivational component of the profession selection, etc.). The special shortcomings include the following: lack of awareness among young people about the peculiarities of different specialties (an investigator, an employee of operational units, a district police officer, etc.); lack of opportunity to try themselves in different types of law enforcement activities within the framework of interaction, for example, between district police station, educational institution, school and parents; insufficient use of media opportunities to adequately cover various aspects of police activities. The author has emphasized the necessity of creating an effective strategy of vocational guidance and qualitative selection procedure, referral and enrollment of young people to higher educational institutions with specific learning conditions.

The main purpose of this study is to portray career orientation of Senior High School (SMA) and Vocational High School (SMK) students and the role that school counselors should play in providing vocational guidance. This study used a survey method involving 278 students from both SMA and SMK di Jakarta. Career Orientation Inventory (COI) and Counselor Role in Career Guidance Inventory were used as an instrument of data collection. Descriptive statistics and t-test were conducted to analyze the data. The findings of the study reveal that majority of SMA and SMK students wanted to further their study to university and only small number of them wanted to find out jobs or run their own business. The findings also show that school counselors play a very important role in providing vocational guidance services for senior secondary students. Therefore, in order for students to have a bright career in future, school counselors should improve the quality of vocational guidance services and plan comprehensive vocational guidance programs.

This study aims (1) to know the positive effect of internship on work readiness of vocational students; (2) to know the positive effect of vocational guidance on vocational students work readiness; (3) to know the positive effect of achievement motivation on vocational students work readiness; (4) know the positive and significant influence together between fieldwork practices, vocational guidance, achievement motivation for student work readiness. The research method used is quantitative. The population in this study were all vocational students majoring in accounting in Majenang, the sampling technique used was random sampling with an error rate of 5%. Data collection techniques used a questionnaire with a Likert scale and five alternative answers. The validity test uses the Pearson product-moment formula, while the reliability test uses the Alpha formula. Data analysis methods are simple linear regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study stated that there was a positive influence of internship on vocational students work readiness of 0.687 and it was found that internship could contribute to job readiness by 37.2%, there was a positive influence on vocational guidance on vocational work readiness of 0.765 students and obtained that guidance vocational can contribute to student work readiness by 4.7%, there is a positive influence of achievement motivation on vocational student work readiness by 1,053 and it is found that achievement motivation can contribute to student work readiness by 6%, there is a positive influence jointly between an internship, vocational guidance, achievement motivation to work readiness of vocational students by 47.9% means that together the contribution of all independent variables to the dependent variable is 47.9% the remaining 52.1% by variables and other factors outside this study that is not explained by pen elite

Individual success in overcoming problems has a role in the adversity quotient. Adversity quotient can be trained through religious guidance, namely with faith and spiritual intelligence. Those related to vocational guidance are talent, performance, productivity and creativity. Based on this, this research is to describe the integration of religious guidance and vocational guidance in growing adversity quotient for adolescents in Doro Village, Doro District, Pekalongan Regency. The research method in this research is descriptive qualitative. As for this research, the techniques used are observation, interview and documentation techniques. Religious guidance and vocational guidance in fostering an adversity quotient for adolescents in Doro Village, Doro District, Pekalongan Regency are implemented by establishing four main dimensions, (1) Self-control (Control), (2) Origin and self-recognition (Origin and Ownership, (3) Reach, (4) Endurance. These four dimensions are able to have an influence on the formation of an adversity quotient, namely through strengthening religious beliefs, strengthening spiritual intelligence, increasing performance, increasing creativity, and increasing productivity. the existence of religious guidance and vocational guidance is able to boost the adversity quotient of adolescents.

The competency of vocational high school guidance and counseling teachers (SMK BK Teachers) is very important to be improved in facing the challenges of the 4.0 revolution era. It is hoped that the enhancement of the competency of the Vocational School Guidance and Counseling Teachers will be able to help students think analytically, evaluatively, creatively, and in complex ways known as High Order Thinking Skills (HOTs) and develop students' career readiness. Therefore, vocational high school guidance and counseling teachers must have creative and innovative strategies in providing career guidance services. Creative and innovative forms can be seen in the design of career guidance that is oriented towards developing 21st-century skills, namely critical thinking skills, creating thinking skills, collaborative skills, and communications skills (Four C's). The method is to apply a project-based learning model with an “in-on-in” pattern, namely three activities including one synchronous off-line activity, one asynchronous online activity, and one assignment activity. The number of participants is 20 teachers, teachers of vocational high school guidance and counseling in Malang City with a pattern of 32 lesson hours and conducted in four weeks. This training succeeded in adding to the insight and competence of the guidance and counseling teachers of vocational high schools to compile a career guidance design by compiling RPLBK and animated video media with using the powtoon app.

The study of Russian as well as foreign experience concerning the effective practices for performing learners’ vocational training and self-determination allows the educators to extrapolate the most adequate ideas, principles, technologies, approaches to the development and implementation of career guidance and vocational training programs intended for specialists. The acquired knowledge can be further used for analysis, comprehension and application of the best practices in the system of advanced vocational training. The article considers the features of the dual secondary vocational training system of Germany and focuses on the career guidance experience in schools and colleges in the UK. It also presents approaches that are not widespread and less known in Russia than in other countries to apply them to the dual higher education system. Some elements of effective foreign practices of vocational training, self-determination and career guidance can be used in advanced vocational training centers as well as in institutions involved in general secondary, secondary vocational and additional education.

This study aims to determine the contributions of career guidance and parents support to the vocational high school students' work readiness. This research is survey. The sampling technique used a proportional random sampling method. The data collection used the questionnaire method to obtain career guidance data, support parents, and students’ work readiness. The data analysis included descriptive analysis, prerequisite analysis including normality test, linearity test, and multi-collinearity test, and multiple analysis with F-test, determination test, and partial correlation analysis. The results showed that (1) career guidance and parents’ support influenced positively and significantly to work readiness of vocational students, (2) career guidance influenced positively and significantly to work readiness of students in vocational school, and (3) the parental support influenced positively and significantly on work readiness of students in vocational high schools.

The object of this study is to assess informative possibilities of some technical indicators of the Test of Photos of Professions (BBT – Berufsbilder test), a projective method to clarify professional inclination, proposed by Martin Achtnich. This psychological evaluation technique is composed of 96 photos of professionals, performing various types of activities. The test subject classifies the photos into three groups: positive (agreeable), negative (disagreeable) and indifferent (neutral). Among those chosen positively, five preferences are chosen and a story is developed that includes them, an activity that is requested two times during the Vocational Guidance process: in the beginning (or middle) and at the end of the intervention. In this study, 160 stories were created by 80 youths, between 15 and 20 years of age, in public and private schools in a mid-sized Brazilian city. The stories were compared in three analytical categories: protagonist, professional conflict and resolution. The results were submitted to Wilcoxon nonparametric statistical analysis (p < .05), significant and relevant indicators of resolution being found in the process of occupational choice. This technical resource was shown, from this empirical evidence, to be promising for use in evaluation of intervention processes of Vocational Guidance.
