Texto completoTo understand the Iran of today we must look at ancient Persia, land of nomads, merchants and travelers but also battlefield on which have been erected the foundations of a refined society so loved by scientists, artists, poets and especially by travelers. Over the centuries, many Italians have crossed or stayed there, and it is impossible to talk about Iran without taking into consideration its past of the Great Empire, its religious transformation from polytheism to Islam via the Mazdaism, and its socio-cultural upheaval occurred during the transition from the Pahlavi monarchy to the Islamic Republic of Iran established in 1979 following the revolution. Through the analysis and comparison of various travel reports, this socio-cultural study will try to highlight how the vision of Iran, that some Italian travelers had, has changed and in which way the trip to Iran, between the sacred and the profane, has influenced the personality of this travelers. According to the texts of the journalists, the tourists, the literary people and the adventurers examined, it is possible to affirm that all these people have all reached Iran with a lot of fears and a baggage of prejudices quite important. However, the trip surprised them so much that they quickly recognized their misjudgment. The magnificence of the place and the kindness of the people, led them to love every stone, every legend, and every person they met, they made them feel at home despite the many kilometers that separate the Islamic Republic of Iran from their own homeland. When traveling to Iran, the traveler becomes aware of being in a theocratic state which imposes strict rules, but whose people maintains the purity of soul, sometimes lost in the West. This is a state in which Revolutionary Guards routinely bully women by controlling their clothes, forcing them to live by Shari'a law, but it is in that same country that men are always kind and respectful. It is a place where the song of Muezzin invites to prayer at dawn, at noon and at sunset and where silent shadows, rolled up in their chadors, make you think about a country where resigned and sad women live together with others brave, with their heads covered in all sorts of fabrics and ready to challenge their families and society by discovering more and more their heads wrapped in colorful rusari. Iran is a place where Shiite worshipers pray to the same God as their Sunni enemy brethren, always ready to reiterate the events of Kerbala. And is a place where during the Zoroastrian Noruz, the dark soul of Ashura gives way to the hope of a better new year

Texto completoSe una notte d'inverno un viaggiatore, italo calvino, the italian author's last novel is an illustration of several theories concerning the novel as a literary style and the result of an intricate work based upon the re-shaping of several borrowings from literature from all over the world. The first part of this thesis accounts for a critical approach of calvino's novel, in the light of two theoretical writings; from the author himself as well as from mlan kundera. In the second part, the various literary and artistic sources, constituting the foundations of intertextual phenomenon created by the novel are studied. This thesis leads us to conclude that this novel from camvino, far from giving mere quotations creates a kind of mosaistic style and literary process which express to meaning of the contemporary novel throughout the world and therefore, gives a deeper definition of it

Texto completoThis work analyzes the evolution of consumer’s protection discipline after the transposition of the directive on consumers rights with legislative decree 21st february 2014, no 21. In the first chapter, is illustrated the complex consumer figure (from the Report to the civil code of 1942 to the most modern figures of the sub-supplier and the over-indebted) and is underlined the need to protect him not only as a subject, a fundamental part of the market, together with entrepreneur, but firstly as a person who must be protected as such according to principles of our Constitution. The protection of consumer as a person involves the recall to the market, a place where the person is realized and so its functioning must guarantee the balanced development of the people who work there. The reflections carried out have led to not sharing the idea of wanting to build a unitary and static category of consumer, or to consider the consumer as always a weak contractor, because the same person can be considered a consumer in some economic operations and an economic operator in others. The consumer protection rules are also applied to relations between two entrepreneurs (so called business to business contracts), in which one of the two may be in a situation of asymmetry of contractual power, such as that typical of the relationship between professional and consumer. In the second chapter, is analyzed the directive on consumers rights that has introduced important innovations among which, the pre-contractual information obligations to the professional towards the consumer, the introduction of the “Botton solution” to prevent Internet cost traps and the extension of the terms for exercising the right of withdrawal (14 days), with references also to the Spanish law that has implemented the new legislation. Finally in the third chapter, the attention is focused on some particular figures. Firstly, is analyzed the consumer-telematic traveler, taken into consideration by the directive 2015/2302/UE on tourist packages buyed on Internet, not yet implemented in Italy and the protections of traveler who buyed tourist packages online. The new regolations introduced the total equivalence between the pakage buyed at the travel agencies and the package buyed online, with the recognition of the same rights for the telematic traveler. Secondly, after examining the complex phenomenon of social networks, particular attention is paid to the figure of the baby navigator, that is minor that concludes online contracts (above all through the use of social networks), placing considerable problems of coordination between his inability to contract and his ability to consume. Infact, minors are the main recipient of consumer advertising; however, these consumption relationships established by the minor that exist in reality are not governed by our legal system. Considering the silence of the legislator on the topic, the author tries to frame the fate of the contracts stipulated by the minor, oscillating between the invalidity of the contract and the binding of the same only towards the capable parents.

Texto completoThis research proposes a bidimentional analysis of the deconstructive novel. We attempt to read déconstructive narratives via two interpretations : the first one is the semiotic interpretation of U. Eco, the second is déconstruction of J. Derrida. The goal of this approach is to better understand the different mechanisms that characterize this narrative form. I have chosen two novels of this kind: Si par une nuit d'hiver un voyageur by I. Calvino, Perdu dans le labyrinthe by J. Barth and Marelle by J. Cortazàr. These works are unique in that they include a special functioning of which deception is a major objective, of both the principal and secondary intitulation. The title no longer reflects the work but a first reading trap. In parallel to this, the prologues no longer represent space, time and characters. The introduction becomes a representation of the fictional universe of the work introduced. In opposition to the introduction, the novel advocates the incompletion of the essay; the narration is deliberately incomplete in order to frame the work as an open one and not as a closed one. Between the prologues and the incomplete narration, the mechanism of the essay of deconstructive narrative, is based on a fragmentation and depragmatisation of the components with a massive digression in which the auto-reflection breaks the continuous homogeneity of the narration. Finally, among the traits of the novel, in this type of writing, we extract the presence of playful structures; the narrative game translated by a strong participation of the reader and not a withdrawal. This applied game reflects the space of the experimentation of new narrative forms knitted between the playful structures. On the whole, the novel of deconstruction allows the reader to contribute to the creation of the work. This kind of novel does not pretend to present a complete work but an open one which is subject to different epilogues

Badanie rozpoczyna się od analizy dzieła Patricka Brydone (1736 ‒ 1818) A Tour Through Sicily and Malta: In a Series of Letters to William Beckford, Esq. Of Somerly in Suffolk; from P. Brydone F.R.S. (1773.
The aim of the dissertation is to analyze the perception of Sicilian patronal festivals by foreign travellers on the basis of travel journals. The thesis assumes that these ceremonies were depicted not only as a "normal" element of Sicilian folklore, but were also perceived by foreigners as an extraordinary and at the same time complex phenomenon, characteristic of Sicilian culture, an essential element of private and public life of inhabitants of the island. On the basis of selected travel literature, it is shown that patron festivals were an important element of Sicilian heritage [sicilianità] in the eyes of the authors, hence the omission of such a phenomenon in their travel descriptions would significantly impoverish the image of Sicily and Sicilians. The analysis of the texts follows a chronological order (according to the travel period, not the dates of publication of works), which importantly facilitates the tracing of how these festivals and folk religions had been perceived since the end of the eighteenth to the midtwentieth century. The study begins with an analysis of Patrick Brydone’s work (1736-1818). A Tour Through Sicily and Malta: In a Series of Letters to William Beckford, Esq. Of Somerly in Suffolk; from P. Brydone F.R.S. (1773), which at that time contributed remarkably to the growing interest in Sicily among foreigners all over Europe, including the curiosity of their patron saints. An extremely detailed and colourful account of the celebration in honour of Saint Rozalia, the patron of Palermo, after the publication of Brydone’s work became a contribution to its European fame, which attracted people from various corners of the Old Continent, and the references to the description of Brydone echoed in travel literature even in the following centuries. The study ends with an analysis of the work of a French writer Roger Peyrefitt (1907- 2000) Du Vésuve à l'Etna (1952), covering the impressions of his numerous stays in Sicily from the period after the Second World War. The discourse closes in the mid-twentieth century due to dynamic changes on many areas that had transformed the face of travel, travelling and travellers themselves. A broad spectrum of references, not only historical and literary, but also sociocultural, in which I read texts, determined the theoretical considerations on the impact of stereotypes on the traveller’s perception of the culture of the place visited in Chapter I, which then were confronted in the next subchapter with the perception of this phenomenon by the authors of the analyzed texts themselves. Next, the accounts were presented in the light of the autobiographical literature studies. Since patron saints can not be analysed as part of the Sicilian culture isolated from the history of the island, its region and the history of the Church, Chapter II presents historical excursus, which presents the cult of saints in Sicily and shows the significance of these holidays for Sicilians. The next chapter was devoted to Giuseppe Pitrè, a researcher of folklore considered to be the precursor of ethnographic research on the grounds of Italy. The works of the Sicilian ethnographer concerning saint patrons were based partially on the relations of eighteenth-century travellers, and his achievements met with appreciation in the nineteenthcentury travel journals, therefore mentioning this figure is crucial to understand the documentary value of travel descriptions and to expose the interest that foreigners surrounded the folk culture of the Sicilians at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The main emphasis in the discourse was put on the following factors; which is how the cultural heritage of individual travellers influenced the perception of patron saints and how it translated into the image of these celebrations and religiosity of Sicilians conveyed by them. As an interpretative key to the analysis of selected works, the following categories were used: stereotype, linking trends in descriptions with micro and macro-history, historical truth, myth and antimony, and viewpoints. From the presented picture of patronal holidays seen by foreign travellers, an external observers of Sicilian life, it appears that this cultural phenomenon encloses the Sicilian system of ideas about the world paradigm, and they are also an expression of the complicated history of the Island, the climatic conditions or the nature of the Sicilians.. Despite the turbulent political events, social changes that took place on the Island over the centuries it results from travelers’ descriptions that they have not lost their importance and their role for the local community. Looking from an outside point of view, the foreigners provided a new perspective on saint patron festivals, quite different from the Sicilian one, and also suggested new interpretations of this cultural phenomenon. On the basis of the analysis, the conclusion is also drawn that these holidays were an element of Sicilianity [sicilianità] for the travelers of different eras and nationalities The annex to the work is an analysis of the text of the researcher of folk religion John Jems Blunt (1794 – 1855) Vestiges of Ancient Manners and Customs discoverable in Modern Italy and Sicily (1823).
