Innovation processes of large companies experience a lack of resources between Research and Development, i.e. the valley of death. Safran created its Innovation Department to counterbalance. It is based on exchanges with the subsidiaries. However such exchanges cannot be processed in most early stages, when they include unknowns. For instance, ideas generated through the DKCP method remain unexplored. This intervention-research aims at establishing a model of collective action to exchange in the unknown. It defends the thesis that, in the unknown, sellers and buyers of innovative technologies engage in the design of the boundary between technologies and environments.Facing the limits of classic models of exchanges of economy, decision, intéressement and creativity, this thesis adopts a design-theories framework. It proposes the model of design engagement of resources. It explains the limits of a common tool for exchanging technologies, i.e. Technology Readiness Levels. It proposes to model exchanges between seller and buyer as the exploration of the Technology-Environment boundary. To do so it constructs the C-K T / C-K E formalism. Finally, the method Steering Exploration Through Technology and Environment Invariants ("Pilotage de l'Exploration Par les Invariants Technologie-Environnement" (PEPITE) in French) is constructed in collaboration with Safran Innovation Department. It is based on two cases of explorations which passed the valley of death within the researchers intervention
Zhang, Zhuo. "Impact de l'innovation dans le commerce de détail : facteurs influencant la fidélité des consommateurs au commerce par mobile". Thesis, Aix-Marseille, 2018. http://www.theses.fr/2018AIXM0377/document.
This thesis considers retail consumers of mobile commerce as a research subject, takes the perceived value of mobile commerce as the starting point. And we tries to conduct the research on this fundamental question: what are the determinants mechanism of the perceived value and satisfaction of mobile and their effects on loyalty. The main objective of this research is therefore to identify and understand the key factors that contribute to consumer loyalty to mobile commerce in a retail context. For this, we clarified the specific content of mobile commerce consumer loyalty, and built a research model to explain loyalty. In order to clarify how consumers perceive and evaluate mobile commerce, we conducted a qualitative exploratory study through semi-structured interviews and content analysis with Nvivo 11. Thanks to the qualitative analysis, we proposed the research model with relevant variables. This research uses Partial Least Squares (PLS) for the Structural Equation Model (SEM) to test the research model and hypothesis

The purpose of this research is to show how industry organizes the transactions so the innovation can emerge and generate value in markets, the methodology that has been used, allows to examine the behaviours of different actors in the study, and the study tries to identify the mechanisms involved in innovation governance management in Colombian motorcycle market. We have done a qualitative study, using an interpretative approach through the hermeneutics method, including twelve interviews with a group of companies of the motorcycle market. We have explored three central aspects ; firstly, the conceptualization of the concept of governance and the study of different theories relating to corporate governance and the identification of corporate governance mechanisms ; second, the market conceptualization and the characterization of its different cycles of life, and the concept of innovation with its facilitators and its barriers to business and markets; and third, to analyze innovation governance mechanisms and their implications for creating market value

Uratnik, Miha. "Le rôle des médias sociaux dans la co-création des utilisateurs et dans l'innovation de service". Thesis, Lille 1, 2015. http://www.theses.fr/2015LIL12011/document.
The pervasive availability of social media is changing how organizations interact with the user in service innovation. However, the explanation how to leverage the co-production and co-creation relationship in interactional service innovation with the social media user is missing. The integration of such interactions reveals a system of knowledge production and dissemination. The system unfolds a configuration of hypothetical interactions, namely the gap between the social media and service innovation networks across different sectors is narrowed with the interactional model and social media user in co-production and co-creation. The emphasis is on how organizations leverage the non-technological innovation and complex meta-change with social media in different environments. The research involves the exploratory sequential research; qualitative leading to the quantitative methodology. In qualitative research five companies were investigated during a long-term span. A particular qualitative methodology was used for the validation of the interactional model. However, the results lead to the quantitative validation and testing of hypotheses as theorized in the qualitative step. Companies leverage social media user for interactional service innovation with different specifics and co-produce or co-create value. The findings are hypothesized on a larger sample to confirm/refute different hypotheses. Although social media seem significant for co-creation, the findings do not follow suit. Companies do not employ the possibilities of co-creation with social media; they rather co-produce value with scarce unique interactions with social media users across different sectors
Nguyen, Thi Minh Chi. "Analyse de l'innovation technologique en tant que facteur de succès de lacompétitivité durable : preuves des exportateurs agro-industriels du Vietnam". Thesis, Université Côte d'Azur, 2022. http://www.theses.fr/2022COAZ0020.
During the covid-19, the agro-industrial sector continues to prove a significant role in the contribution of Vietnamese economic power. In past decade, international competiveness responding to market trends has brought an intensive wave of investment, technical upgrade, and industrialization. It, then, is expected to increase income and employment in the domestic economy by promoting export and utilizating potential advantages and opportunities. However, Vietnamese commodities have joined the global value chain but only stopped at providing inputs in the form of raw agricultural products, while the added value for them is mainly due to processing, packaging and commercial operations. Firm-level technovation as a nuclear energy of economic growth require a sustained progressive endeavour. Under an open and rich-tech ecosystem, pioneering diversification, upgraded manufacturing and effective complements/services generate co-innovation spillovers amd increase domestic value added. Most firms are becoming increasingly successful and competitive in comparison with their rivals because of their forward-thinking systematic innovation. The agro-technovation process is positioned as a central role that helps to improve the performance of Vietnamese agro-manufacturers. It is essential to be aware of the technovation-competition relationship which helps agro-processing exporter improve their business and respond quickly to market changes. We developed a framework that described how agro-enterprises adopt technological sources successfully into the technovation management process (TMP) by applying the diffusion theory. A qualitative case-study method was conformed to capture the overviews of senior executives and their staff at six typical agro-manufacturing exporters. Under a within- and across-case ananlysis, we examined whether there are two groups (competitive and non-competitive) which can be characterized by technovation performance. Moreover, by assigning six cases to one of four concordant positions, the matrix of agro-technovation performance-competitiveness (APC) as an analytical tool strengthening our classification of competitive and non-competitive groups. Furthermore, application of this matrix help excecutives allocate resources and capital to select and build their own business strategy. In next step, our research also reveals that this sucessful technovation process was initiated simultaneously by the intra-push factor (strategic planning and new HRM practices) and extra-pull factor (intangible assets). We figured that within the internal technovation process, there is occurring a technovation transformation of three flows: organizational knowledge, and organizational behavior and organizational culture in competitive-group cases. Based on a in-depth analysis, we investigated that comprehensive management process which modern technology invested and R&D division established, shaping the co-inovation value chain (CVC).Finally, a desired CVC could be observed with all of the five aspects of visible technovation-outputs explored such a new business model, new value for customers, new customer base, new effective value chain or new products/services. However, for a competitive agro-business, its five visible outputs become resiliently and flexibly once five invisible stabilized pillars (coordination, collaboration, convergence, complementarity and co-creation) had been established before. Through their CVC management practices, agro-manufactures eanable transform their limited technological resources efficiently to achieve the greater competive advantage

Vocation of our research, is to determine and understand in an exploratory way the role of the professionalization of the function and more particularly of purchasing marketing, innovation and change management on companies’ competitiveness. To proceed, our study was based on a conceptual model and assumptions via a mixed analysis to a population of 174 people mainly from the purchasing function. Our contributions come to enrich the theoretical corpus by management from the purchasing function, the professionalization, purchasing marketing, change management, innovation, and competitiveness. From a managerial point of view, our research establishes an incentive to reconsider the management of the purchasing function to take benefit of all its value creation potential
Tremblay, Nathalie. "Living labs as innovation intermediaries : symphonic orchestration of innovation dynamics in open innovation ecosystems". Electronic Thesis or Diss., Strasbourg, 2023. http://www.theses.fr/2023STRAB012.
The dissertation defines the dynamics of innovation through the lens of living labs, theorising on how these intermediaries, can effectively orchestrate innovation ecosystems through open innovation initiatives. The study offers numerous theoretical contributions on innovation for managerial practice and public policies, identifying key mechanisms and best governance practices, ensuring that sociotechnological and ecosystem perspectives are included in innovation strategies that create shared value outcomes. The thesis provides an opportunity to consider the role played by communities within the innovation ecosystem through the theory of the Commons (Ostrom, 1990), in an evolutionary perspective
Lyu, Fen. "The path of the adoption of digital technology to SMEs’ business performance : evidence from China". Thesis, Paris 1, 2020. http://www.theses.fr/2020PA01E070.
Impressive developments in digital technology such as big data, virtual reality, cloud computing and artificial intelligence have been continually and thoroughly penetrating various fields, which have reshaped innovation landscape by accelerating growth of internet of everything, data-driven computation, platform support and intelligence industry. The mushrooming of digital technology is accelerating the integration with the real economy, driving the digital innovation to expand with full extent. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are the basic units to promote employment, economic development and innovative activities. They are the largest and most dynamic parts in the market economy and thus digital innovation is central to the survival and growth of Chinese SMEs. Therefore, a clear understanding both of processes by which SMEs develop digital innovation and the benefits which flow from digital innovation in terms of market share and profit level is important. This thesis demonstrates the use of a conceptual framework, the digital innovation value chain (DIVC), and shows how the DIVC approach helps to understand the process in digital innovation for SMEs. The value of the DIVC is expressed in showing the key interrelationships in the process of digital innovation from adoption of digital technology (ADT) through digital innovation to business performance in terms of the market share and profit level. This research empirically showed that the ADT can have a positive influence on both business networks and personal networks for SMEs. Furthermore, the results indicated that heterogeneous networks including business networks and personal networks afforded by ADT allows SMEs to continuously deal with digital innovation activities. We extend existing knowledge about innovation value chain by empirically illustrating the importance of digital technology with respect to digital innovation activities, in particular for digital products innovation, digital service innovation and business model innovation , which has indirect influence on SMEs’ business performance. A key benefit of the DIVC approach is therefore its ability to emphasize the roles of different factors at various chain of the digital source-digital innovation-SMEs’ business performance nexus, and to show their indirect and direct impact. This research provides a contribution in the area of digital innovation aimed at categorizing dimensions of digital innovation by suggesting that digital innovation involve digital products innovation, digital service innovation and business model innovation according to review on previous studies of innovation. It extends existing knowledge about innovation value chain by empirically illustrating the importance of digital technology with respect to digital innovation activities, in particular for digital products innovation, digital service innovation and business model innovation. This research also corresponds with the need to make today’s digital innovation more fluid, thereby facilitating the diversity and flexibility of DIVC with regard to dynamic and boundless environment
