AbstractThe proposition that sheer labels or categories are important in people's reactions to the treatment of animals was supported by evidence from two sources. First, print archives showed that in the real world animals with a great deal in common such as (a) dolphins and tuna in the same nets; (b) cats and dogs, and pigs and goats in the same laboratories; and (c) native and feral species in the same parks are viewed or treated quite differently by humans. Second, original experiments were conducted wherein some hypothetical maltreatment of animals was held constant, but the animal label was varied over different respondents. Depending on the fictional maltreatment (hooking, shooting) and label (dog, cat, bird, fish, pig, goat) men and women respondents showed strong and systematic patterns of more or less tolerance for such treatment.

ObjectivesTo assess the prevalence of wheeze and factors associated with its severity among 3–6 years old children.MethodologyDesignA population-based, cross-sectional study using the WHO 30 cluster methodology with probability proportionate to size sampling.Setting36 preschools registered at the divisional secretariat offices of Anuradhapura district, Sri Lanka.ParticipantsWe recruited 1060 preschool children from 36 preschools aged 3–6 years.Main outcome measurementsWe used the International Study of Asthma and Allergy in Childhood questionnaire to assess the prevalence, symptomatology and associated factors of wheeze.ResultsThe study sample consisted of 548 (51.70%) male and 512 (48.30%) female children with a mean age of 4.41 (±0.66) years. At least one wheezing episode ever was reported in 323 (30.47%; 95% CI 27.71% to 33.34%) children and 247 (23.30%; 95% CI 20.79% to 25.97%) children had a wheezing attack in the preceding year. Severe episodes of wheezing were reported in 76 (7.17%; 95% CI 5.69% to 8.89%) participants. However, only 27 (35.53%; 95% CI 24.88% to 47.34%) children with severe wheezing had been diagnosed as asthmatics by a clinician. The identified independent risk factors for severe wheeze were allergic rhinitis (OR 6.90; 95% CI 3.84 to 12.40), domestic dog(s) (OR 2.34; 95% CI 1.01 to 5.40), frequent consumption of skipjack tuna (OR 1.94; 95% CI 1.11 to 3.39) and passive smoking (OR 1.70; 95% CI 0.93 to 3.11) while living in a house with a cement floor is a protective factor (OR 0.41; 95% CI 0.21 to 0.80).ConclusionWheezing commonly affects one-fourth of preschool children in rural Sri Lanka. Severe wheezing is often not diagnosed as asthma despite frequent symptoms, probably due to hesitancy in labelling preschool children as asthmatics. Allergic rhinitis, domestic dogs, frequent consumption of Skipjack tuna fish and exposure to passive smoking were independent risk factors for severe wheeze.

The metabolic rates (V(dot)O2) of three tropical tunas [yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares), kawakawa (Euthynnus affinis) and skipjack (Katsuwonus pelamis)] were estimated using a large water-tunnel respirometer. Experiments lasting up to 31 h were used to determine the effects of velocity (U) on tuna V(dot)O2 over a range of U (17-150 cm s-1) and temperatures (18­30°C). Replicate tests were carried out on several fish. The swimming V(dot)O2 of yellowfin is temperature-dependent (Q10=1.67, determined over intervals of 3­5°C). For yellowfin and skipjack, it was also possible to partition metabolic costs between maintenance and locomotion. The standard metabolic rate (SV(dot)O2) was estimated by extrapolation of the U/V(dot)O2 function to U=0. Comparisons of SV(dot)O2 for different size groups of yellowfin show that the mass-specific scaling exponent for V(dot)O2 is -0.40. The SV(dot)O2 of tuna is comparable to values determined previously by stasis respirometry and is approximately three times higher than that of salmonids. Further comparisons with salmonids show that the slope of the U/V(dot)O2 function is less for tunas, which demonstrate a greater swimming efficiency.

Tunas (family Scombridae) maintain muscle temperatures (Tm) elevated significantly above ambient water temperature (Ta) by using vascular counter-current heat exchangers (retia mirabilia) to conserve metabolic heat generated by continuous contraction of red muscle fibers. Previous work has documented endothermy and both behavioral and physiological thermoregulation in tunas, but only individuals greater than approximately 1 kg body mass had been studied. The purpose of this study was to measure Tm and to examine heat exchanger morphology in smaller fish in order to determine the minimum size at which tunas can elevate Tm significantly above Ta. Measurements of Tm made immediately after capture in field-caught and laboratory-raised tunas (Euthynnus lineatus, Auxis thazard, A. rochei and Thunnus albacares) spanning a size range of 15.5­667 mm fork length (FL) show that tunas 207 mm FL (162.3 g) and larger can elevate red muscle temperature by at least 3.0°C above Ta. E. lineatus, A. thazard and A. rochei of this size possess blood vessels serving the red muscle that are arranged as both lateral and central heat exchangers; the smallest tuna with evidence of a rete was a 108.5 mm FL E. lineatus. In the ectothermic scombrid Scomberomorus sierra (108.7­132.0 mm FL), Tm was elevated 0.2­0.5°C above Ta, and the greatest Tm elevation reported in any ectothermic species is only 2.7°C. Taken together, these data provide evidence that tunas greater than 207 mm FL are endothermic.

The high cardiac output, arterial blood pressure and cardiac energy demand of tuna make it likely that blood viscosity has an important influence on cardiovascular function. Furthermore, tuna regularly subject themselves to ambient temperature changes of 10°C or more during their daily vertical migrations. They can also maintain muscle temperatures several degrees Celsius above ambient and reach maximum muscle temperatures of approximately 15°C above ambient. The blood of tuna is, therefore, subjected to more frequent and rapid temperature changes than those that occur in other teleosts. Nothing is known, however, about the effects of temperature, shear rate or hematocrit on the viscosity of tuna blood. Viscosity of yellowfin tuna blood (hematocrits of 0­55 %) was measured at 15, 25 and 35°C and at shear rates of 45, 90, 225 and 450 s-1 using a cone-plate viscometer. As found for the blood of other vertebrates, viscosity increased with increasing hematocrit. Viscosity also increased nonlinearly with decreasing shear rate, until a shear rate of 90 s-1 was reached. There was no significant increase in viscosity when shear rate was decreased further, to 45 s-1. Because of the relatively flat hematocrit­viscosity curves, predicted optimal hematocrit curves were nearly flat above a hematocrit of approximately 30 %.

Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Yayasan Rehabilitasi Tuna Rungu Wicara (YRTRW) Surakarta adalah sebuah sekolah dasar untuk pendidikan anak dengan keterbatasan berupa tuna rungu wicara. Berdasarkan observasi serta wawancara yang telah dilakukan, terdapat permasalahan di Sekolah tersebut, yaitu mengenai media pembelajaran maupun alat bantu yang masih sangat minim, terutama khusus untuk siswa tuna rungu wicara pada pembelajaran sholat. Pada saat ini, pembelajaran hanya 1 arah dari guru ke murid dengan bahasa isyarat serta alat bantu berupa buku dan papan tulis. Solusi yang dapat diberikan adalah dengan sebuah aplikasi bernama ABAS (Ayo Belajar Sholat), yaitu aplikasi game pembelajaran untuk sholat khusus bagi anak-anak tuna rungu wicara. Aplikasi ini memberikan pengajaran mengenai tata cara sholat beserta dengan bacaan-bacaan doa dalam bahasa Indonesia, bahasa Arab serta bahasa isyarat. Metode yang digunakan terbagi menjadi beberapa tahap, yaitu analisis permasalahan, perancangan aplikasi, implementasi aplikasi, pemaparan, simulasi dan pengujian, serta maintenance dan follow up. Berdasarkan kuesioner yang diberikan, aplikasi ABAS dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang memudahkan siswa untuk belajar gerakan dan bacaan sholat.

Lipase hydrolysis is an effective method to develop different functional types of lipids. In this study, tuna oil was partially hydrolyzed at 30% and 60% by Thermomyces lanuginosus lipase (TL 100 L) and Candida Antarctica lipase A (ADL), respectively, to obtain lipid-modified acylglycerols. The lipidomic profiling of the acylglycerols was investigated by UPLC-Q-TOF-MS and GC–MS to clarify the lipid modification effect of these two lipases on tuna oil. The results showed that 247 kinds of acylglycerols and 23 kinds of fatty acids were identified in the five samples. In the ADL group, the content of triacylglycerols (TAG) and diacylglycerols (DAG) increased by 4.93% and 114.38%, respectively, with an increase in the hydrolysis degree (HD), while there was a decreasing trend in the TL 100 L group. TL 100 L had a better enrichment effect on DHA, while ADL was more inclined to enrich EPA and hydrolyze saturated fatty acids. Cluster analysis showed that the lipids obtained by the hydrolysis of TL 100 L and ADL were significantly different in the cluster analysis of TAG, DAG, and monoacylglycerols (MAG). TL 100 L has strong TAG selectivity and a strong ability to hydrolyze acylglycerols, while ADL has the potential to synthesize functional lipids containing omega-3 PUFAs, especially DAG.

An eight-months-old male Golden Retriever was referred to Veterinary Teaching Hospitalof IPB University with clinical signs of non-ambulatory paraplegia, tail paralysis, urinary and faecal incontinence, pale mucosa, and loss of sensory and motoric responses on both pelvic limbs. The hematology examination showed thrombocytopenia (125x103/µL), monocytopenia (0.09x103/µL),and no significant decreased of hematocrit (36.88%). Rapid diagnostic test and blood smears were positive for Ehrlichiacanis infection. Abdominalsonogram showed splenomegaly and hepatomegaly with hepatic vessels dilatation. An integrative therapy was done using medications (vitamin B-complex, cyproheptadine, methylprednisolone, doxycycline, and Fundamin E®), herbal (Gui Pi Tang® and Fu Fang Ejiao Jiang®), acupuncture, micro-radar, and Tuina massage. The dog was able to walk and run after 10th session of the intensivetreatment then discharged from the hospital after two months. One week after, the dog started dragging his toe. A customized shoe then made to prevent furtherinjury to the affected limb. The acupuncture was continued once a week for the following two months. The dog is still able to walk and run at his last visit 5 months later. This shows that an integrative therapycan give a good performance in recovering ambulation of paraplegia dog with ehrlichiosis

Abstract :The belief in the prayer water from Tuan Guru is a belief in the Banjar community to a Tuan Guru to ask for prayer when they are having a problem in their daily life. Prayer water is water that has been read a prayer by Tuan Guru with the source of prayer based on verses from the Holy Qur'an. The writing in this study aims to find out how the people of Banjar believe in the prayer water read by Tuan Guru and find out the values contained in the prayer water belief.The method used in this study is a qualitative research method, the data source is purposive sampling with an ethnographic approach through observation and interview techniques. The results of this study found: 1) Belief in prayer water in the Banjar community is divided into five namely knowledge about origins, reasons for asking for prayer water, motives for asking prayer water, how to pray for prayer water, taboos on prayer water, and the impact of prayer water . 2) The values contained in the belief in the prayer water of Tuan Guru are three values: First, religious values in the form of prayers. Second, social values, namely the existence of friendship, the attitude of helping each other, the existence of affection, the existence of communication and the presence of courtesy towards the Master. Third, the material value is in the form of monetary gifts and gifts in the form of objects, which are given by the community to Tuan Guru after asking for prayer water. The belief in the water of prayer from Tuan Guru in the Banjar community in the village of Karya Jadi, Tabukan District, Barito Kuala Regency, has existed for a long time which was then passed down from generation to generation until now.Keywords: Faith, Prayer Water, Values

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) menghasilkan rancangan dan mengimplementasikan hasil rancangan Film Dokumenter Anjing Bali, Tuan Rumah Sejuta Kisah; 2) mengetahui respon masyarakat terhadap Film Dokumenter Anjing Bali, Tuan Rumah Sejuta Kisah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan metode cyclic strategy. Metode cyclic strategy dimulai dari Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, studi literature, angket, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini diimplementasikan menggunakan Adobe Premiere Pro CC Pro 2012 sebagai aplikasi pengedit video dan Adobe After Effect CS 6 sebagai aplikasi penambahan efek serta animasi pada video serta menggunakan adobe audition Pro CC 2017 sebagai pengedit suara. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa Film Dokumenter Anjing Bali, Tuan Rumah Sejuta Kisah adalah kriteria baik. Hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan analisis uji ahli isi, uji ahli media, uji ahli film documenter, dan uji respon penonton. Untuk isi dari film dokumenter Anjing Bali, Tuan Rumah Sejuta Kisah dapat dikategorikan baik dengan presentase 89,20%. Kata Kunci : Anjing Bali, Cyclic Strategy, Film Dokumenter The purpose of this study are to: 1) resulted in the design and implementation of the draft outcome for Film of Documentary Anjing Bali, Tuan Rumah Sejuta Kisah; 2) know the public response for Film of Documentary Anjing Bali, Tuan Rumah Sejuta Kisah. Type of this research is research and development using cyclic strategy. Methods of cyclic strategy starts from Data collected by observation, interview, literature study, questionnaires, and documentation. This study was implemented using Adobe Premiere Pro CC Pro 2012 as a video editing application and Adobe After Effects CS 6 as additional applications in video effects and animation as well as using adobe audition Pro CC 2017 as a sound editor. The results of research and development shown that the film of documentary Anjing Bali, Tuan Rumah Sejuta Kisah is good criteria. The results obtained by the content analysis, media analysis, analysis of documentary film, and audience's response. The orientation of a magneto-inertial measurement unit can be estimated using a sensor fusion algorithm (SFA). However, orientation accuracy is greatly affected by the choice of the SFA parameter values which represents one of the most critical steps. A commonly adopted approach is to fine-tune parameter values to minimize the difference between estimated and true orientation. However, this can only be implemented within the laboratory setting by requiring the use of a concurrent gold-standard technology. To overcome this limitation, a Rigid-Constraint Method (RCM) was proposed to estimate suboptimal parameter values without relying on any orientation reference. The RCM method effectiveness was successfully tested on a single-parameter SFA, with an average error increase with respect to the optimal of 1.5 deg. In this work, the applicability of the RCM was evaluated on 10 popular SFAs with multiple parameters under different experimental scenarios. The average residual between the optimal and suboptimal errors amounted to 0.6 deg with a maximum of 3.7 deg. These encouraging results suggest the possibility to properly tune a generic SFA on different scenarios without using any reference. The synchronized dataset also including the optical data and the SFA codes are available online.

<abstract><p>Direction of arrival (DOA) estimation based on Maximum Likelihood is a common method in array signal processing, with many practical applications, but the huge amount of calculation limits the practical application. To deal with such an Maximum Likelihood (ML) DOA estimation problem, firstly, the DOA estimation model with ML for acoustic vector sensor array is developed, where the optimization standard in various cases can be unified by converting the maximum of objective function to the minimum. Secondly, based on the Invasive Weed Optimization (IWO) method which is a novel biological evolutionary algorithm, a new Improved IWO (IIWO) algorithm for DOA estimation of the acoustic vector sensor array is proposed by using ML estimation. This algorithm simulates weed invasion process for DOA estimation by adjusting the non-linear harmonic exponent of IWO algorithm adaptively. The DOA estimation accuracy has been improved, and the computation of multidimensional nonlinear optimization for the ML method has been greatly reduced in the IIWO algorithm. Finally, compared with Genetic Algorithm (GA), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Differential Evolution (DE) method and Tuna Swarm Optimization(TSO) algorithm, numerical simulations show that the proposed algorithm has faster convergence rate, improved accuracy in terms of Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), lower computational complexity and more robust estimation performance for ML DOA estimation. The experiment with tracking the orientation of the motorboat by Microelectronic mechanical systems (MEMS) vector hydrophone array shows the superior performance of proposed IIWO algorithm in engineering application. Therefore, the proposed ML-DOA estimation with IIWO algorithm can take into account both resolution and computation. which can meet the requirements of real-time calculation and estimation accuracy in the actual environment.</p></abstract>

Antwerp, the fictional home of Nello & Patrasche from A Dog of Flanders (1872) written by Marie Louise de la Ramée, attracts thousands of tourists every year to see the city and get close to the fictional text. European children’s literature such as this inspires dedicated fans who long to make more real the imagined spaces described by authors. The city and associated monuments and markers become sites of secular pilgrimage; people traveling to them experience children’s literary culture as localheritage. Traveling across borders, visiting these European spaces of children’s literature, taking official and unofficial tours, and listening to the stories which people share while physically present help to secure a place in which international fans can play with notions of local identity and culturalheritage. Or, as Yi-Fu Tuan argues, “When space feels thoroughly familiar to us, it has become place.” This case study seeks to interrogate the importance of place in the transcultural fan community of A Dog of Flanders. I analyse the touristic pilgrimage to Antwerp and the social/communal rituals associated with what John Urry calls the “mediatised gaze” as fans inhabit spaces typically reserved for city locals. This paper also considers the importance of place in the transcultural fan community of European children’s literature, discussing how glocalization allows texts to travel across international borders and encourage transcultural appropriation.

Tunga spp. are fleas commonly found in impoverished tropical regions. In Vila Juerana, a tourist community in Ilheus, Bahia, Brazil, where tungiasis is endemic, dogs are the main host of fleas during their life cycle. However, there is no information about the role of cats and chickens in tungiasis in the village. Of the 272 households investigated, 112 had domestic animals, 48 had only dogs, 28 had only cats, and nine had only chickens. Of the 27 households with cohabitation among species, 16 had cats and dogs, eight had chickens and dogs, and three had dogs, cats, and chickens. The injuries due to tungiasis were ranked according to the Fortaleza classification, considering stages I, II, and III as viable lesions. The paws/feet of 71/111 (63.9%) cats and 173/439 (39.4%) chickens were inspected. Dogs that lived with positive cats and chickens also were inspected. Among the 38% (27/7; 95% IC 26.74–49.32) positive cats, 16 cohabited houses with infected dogs but none lived with positive chickens. Of the chickens, 2.3% (4/173; 95% IC 0.07–4.5) had lesions caused by tungiasis. In each household where a cat was infected, the dog was also positive. Two chickens cohabited with an infected dog and the other two did not coexist with other species. Cohabitation with infected dogs and the absence of house confinement restrictions in Vila Juerana make cats important carriers that spread tungiasis in this community. Chickens had a low frequency of tungiasis lesions despite living in proximity to infected dogs and cats.

Supplication serves as a bridge between people and Allah. Allah appreciates His obedient followers. Surah al-Fātiḥah is one of the ways Allah teaches people to pray. However, there are still Muslims who do not fully comprehend the proper method of prayer. Since surah Al-Fātiḥah is one of the most frequently recited verses and Tuan Guru Dato' Haji Nik Abdul Aziz bin Nik Mat is a well-known scholar in Malaysia for disseminating knowledge on Islam, this study will concentrate on the prayer technique in Tafsir Al-Quran Nik Abdul Aziz: Surah al-Fātiḥah. Data for the study were gathered through document analysis, and content analysis techniques were employed to examine it. This research revealed that Tuan Guru Dato' Haji Nik Abdul Aziz bin Nik Mat's primary point is that the recitation of supplications must be clear and understandable and that one should always ask for Allah's guidance.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan fungsi perangkat badikie dalam tradisi mandoa upacara kematian di Nagari Campago Kecamatan V Koto Kampung Dalam, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori Struktural Fungsional Radcliffe-Brown. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif tipe etnografi. Pemilihan informan dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan jumlah informan 25 orang yaitu urang siak terdiri dari 3 tuangku, 5 labai, 3 tukang dikie, katik terdiri dari 2 orang, niniak mamak terdiri dari 3 orang, datuak terdiri dari 1 orang, tamu undangan dan tuan rumah terdiri dari 5 orang, pegawai nagari terdiri dari 3 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi partisipasi pasif, wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumen. Agar data yang diperoleh dapat dipercaya kebenaran dan keabsahan maka dilakukan triangulasi data. Dalam triangulasi, penulis melakukan triangulasi sumber. Kemudian data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan memakai model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman dengan langkah-langkah: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa dalam badikie mandoa terdapat perangkat badikie yang terdiri dari tuangku, labai dan tukang dikie. Tuangku, labai dan tukang dikie berperan dalam memimpin doa-doa kematian dan doa dikie mulai dari mandoa manigo hari sampai dengan mandoa terakhir yaitu maatuih hari. Tuangku memiliki fungsi sebagai pemimpin doa kematian dalam ritual badikie mandoa. Selanjutnya labai memiliki fungsi sebagai pemimpin doa khusus yang akan dibacakan dalam badikie. Labai juga memiliki fungsi dalam memimpin proses mancabiak kain kafan sampai dengan memandu pemakaman jenazah. Selanjutnya tukang dikie memiliki fungsi sebagai orang yang akan mentaranumkan doa dikie.

This work studies the effect of interlayer adhesion on mechanical performance of fluorinated thermoplastics produced by fused deposition modeling (FDM). Here, we study the anisotropic mechanical response of 3D-printed binary blends of poly (vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) with the isotropic mechanical response of these blends fabricated via injection molding. Various PVDF/PMMA filament compositions were produced by twin-screw extrusion and, subsequently, injection-molded or 3D printed into dog-bone shapes. Specimen mechanical and thermal properties were evaluated by mode I tensile testing and differential scanning calorimetry, respectively. Results show that higher PMMA concentration not only improved the tensile strength and decreased ductility but reduced PVDF crystallization. As expected, injection-molded samples revealed better mechanical properties compared to 3D printed specimens. Interestingly, 3D printed blends with lower PMMA content demonstrated better diffusion (adhesion) across interfaces than those with a higher amount of PMMA. The present study provides new findings that may be used to tune mechanical response in 3D printed fluorinated thermoplastics, particularly for energy applications.

Film, sebagai media yang berpengaruh, memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk pandangan dan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai nilai-nilai keagamaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis nilai-nilai religius yang terdapat dalam film "Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika." Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah metode kualitatif dengan melibatkan analisis observasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemantauan film pada platform Bstation dari tanggal 3 hingga 7 Desember 2023. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan teknik observasi dengan pencatatan poin-poin penting, analisis nilai-nilai religius, dan penyusunan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan beberapa adegan dalam film yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai religius, seperti pemberian Al-Qur'an sebagai hadiah ulang tahun, dialog tentang toleransi antaragama, pembelian hot dog dari penjual Muslim, hingga pidato Tuan Philipus Brown, yang semuanya menggambarkan keberagaman nilai keagamaan yang terdapat dalam film ini. Kesimpulan penelitian menekankan bahwa "Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika" berhasil secara efektif menggambarkan nilai-nilai religius dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari dan interaksi sosial. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman nilai-nilai keagamaan dalam media massa, serta mendukung pandangan yang positif, toleransi, dan pemahaman antaragama.

Structured lipid containing Medium Chain of Fatty Acid (MCFA) at outer position and Poly-Unsaturated Fatty Acids (PUFA) at sn-2 position has nutritional value and excellent absorption. In this research, structured lipids was synthesized directly through enzymatic acidolysis between fish oil and lauric acid and catalyzed by specific lipase from immobilized 1.3 Candida rugose. The kinetics of enzymatic transesterification reactions catalyzed by immobilized Candida rugose was studied. To obtain the optimal condition, the factor substrate ratio of fish oil : lauric acid and reaction time were investigated. Simple mathematical model for DAG synthesis through transesterification mechanisms have been developed. The results showed that the parameters obtained had a good sensitivity. It was found that the kinetic model well describes the behavior of the reaction as the influence of the initial ratio of reactants.

In this paper, we explore the problem of direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation for a non-uniform linear array (NULA) under strong noise. The compressed sensing (CS)-based methods are widely used in NULA DOA estimations. However, these methods commonly rely on the tuning of parameters, which are hard to fine-tune. Additionally, these methods lack robustness under strong noise. To address these issues, this paper proposes a novel DOA estimation approach using a deep neural network (DNN) for a NULA in a low SNR. The proposed network is designed based on the denoising convolutional neural network (DnCNN) and the alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM), which is dubbed as LDnADMM-Net. First, we construct an unfolded DNN architecture that mimics the behavior of the iterative processing of an ADMM. In this way, the parameters of an ADMM can be transformed into the network weights, and thus we can adaptively optimize these parameters through network training. Then, we employ the DnCNN to develop a denoising module (DnM) and integrate it into the unfolded DNN. Using this DnM, we can enhance the anti-noise ability of the proposed network and obtain a robust DOA estimation in a low SNR. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed LDnADMM-Net can obtain high-accuracy and super-resolution DOA estimations for a NULA with strong robustness in a low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).

The purpose of this study is to describe the eco-innovation manifested by Fish 'n Blues (FnB) as the realization of ecopreneurship and innovation in the fishery industry in Indonesia. This research is descriptive research with qualitative method. The informants in this study consisted of the owner and FnB staff who have been in accordance with the indicators and justification of the purpose of this study, as many as 5 people. Researchers conducted in-depth interviews with employees who were in Fish 'n Blues directly to dig up the required information. In data analysis technique, the researcher is guided by data analysis in field Miles & Huberman model, consisting of data collection, data reduction, display data, conclusion drawing and verification. The result of this research shows that eco-innovation in FnB consists of six categories consisting of product care, minor product improvement, major product improvement, functional innovation, system innovation and scientific breakthrough. In practice, product care innovation is carried out in the process of selling environmentally friendly seafood products, both raw and processed products. In minor product improvement, FnB has a product line by selling raw and processed products, so it is not just the catch. Minor changes such as seaweed pilus products, tuna meatballs, pastel shells, crispy blood clams and egg blood shells. Major product improvement is a change in the function of raw tuna products commonly used as the main menu into Tuna Spread as an additional product for other food spreads such as bread and biscuits. FnB uses a cassava bag instead of a plastic bag that becomes the solution in the plastic waste problem so that the innovation is in accordance with the functional innovation dimension related to ecopreneurship. FnB uses social media for promotions and campaigns. Selection of social media than other mass media such as television and magazine is in accordance with the dimensions of innovation system because of the innovation in communicating with consumers in a more effective way. The latter category is the scientific breakthrough that is environmentally friendly invention will affect on a wide scale or against some industry or so-called scientific breakthrough. Based on the results of the analysis, unfortunately until now FnB has not had a scientific breakthrough because FnB only focuses on selling products only. A consensus control law is proposed for a multi-agent system of quadrotors with leader–follower communication topology for three quadrotor agents. The genetic algorithm (GA) is the proposed optimization technique to tune the consensus control parameters. The complete nonlinear model is used without any further simplifications in the simulations, while simplification in the model is used to theoretically design the controller. Different case studies and tests are done (i.e., trajectory tracking formation and switching topology) to show the effectiveness of the proposed controller. The results show good performance in all tests while achieving the consensus of the desired formations.

<p><strong>Abstract.</strong> Climate change induced extreme weather events such as drought and flood condition are likely to become more common and associated impacts on crop production will be more without proper irrigation planning. The present investigation was undertaken for assessing the impact of Climate change on tomato yield and water use efficiency (WUE) using AquaCrop model and RegCM 4.4 simulations. The water driven AquaCrop model was validated based on observation of field experiment conducted with four different dates of sowing (1st November, 15th November, 1st December, 15th December) at Ponnaniyar basin, Tiruchirappalli. Validation of AquaCrop model indicated the capability of AquaCrop in predicting tomato yield, biomass and WUE close to the observed data. Seasonal maximum and minimum temperatures over Tiruchirappalli are projected to increase in the mid-century under both RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 scenarios. Maximum temperature is expected to increase up to 1.7&amp;thinsp;&amp;deg;C/2.5&amp;thinsp;&amp;deg;C in SWM and 1.9&amp;thinsp;&amp;deg;C/2.9&amp;thinsp;&amp;deg;C in NEM by the mid of century as projected through stabilization (RCP 4.5) and overshoot emission (RCP 8.5) pathways. Minimum temperature is expected to increase up to 1.6&amp;thinsp;&amp;deg;C/2.2&amp;thinsp;&amp;deg;C in SWM and 1.6&amp;thinsp;&amp;deg;C/2.1&amp;thinsp;&amp;deg;C in NEM by the mid of century as projected through stabilization (RCP 4.5) and overshoot emission (RCP 8.5) pathways. Seasonal rainfall over Tiruchirappalli is expected to decrease with RCP4.5 and RCP8.5scenarios with different magnitude. Rainfall is expected to change to the tune of &amp;minus;1/&amp;minus;11 per cent in SWM and &amp;minus;2/&amp;minus;14 per cent in NEM by the mid of century as projected through stabilization (RCP 4.5) and overshoot emission (RCP 8.5) pathways.</p>

Rabies, transmitted through a bite from a dog, is a highly fatal disease that is a health hazard throughout the world including Indonesia. In February 2019, there was an outbreak of rabies at Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara (WNT), Indonesia. As such, Dompu district has become one of the beginning points for many rabies cases being experienced in WNT. Lately, there have been fatal cases of the outbreak to the tune of 1,315 victims due to rabies-borne animal bite. Among these cases, nine of them are human rabies. Out of the 182 samples examined for brain rabid animal, 90 turned positive. Efforts from local, provincial, and federal agencies representatives activated a rabies response involving update of policies, enhancing of surveillance, a campaign to educate the public as well as widespread vaccination of domestic and wild animals. There has not been experienced a rabies outbreak like this in WNT region, Indonesia, over the years. Therefore, there require integration of all intervention strategies as well as a collaboration of all human health, animal health, and wildlife authority to bring to a halt the outbreak. To further enhance the intervention strategies, the government is recommended to respond immediately.

Knowledge is one of the needs in education. Kindergarten Doa Ibu Semarang is an educational park that has problems related to the direct practice-based learning model which makes it easier for children to understand communication messages in the form of knowledge provided. So far, this school has not had any unique educational media that can provide learning to children through the process of learning while playing. The existing media is still in the form of practical media that are often found in other schools. Meanwhile, after the Covid-19 pandemic, memories still remain to provide lessons to be alert regarding pandemics and health themes. Through understanding and providing knowledge from an early age, it will have a good impact on preventing pandemics or diseases in the future. So there is a need for creative, educational media that can provide the development of learning concepts at Tunas Islam Kindergarten Semarang. This educational media in the form of a life-sized game with the name "Postcov" is the result of a research project by the implementing team as a new form of media which is expected to provide refreshment to the learning concept. The activities are carried out using the learning while playing method so that students increase their enthusiasm in absorbing the material while playing on game media. The final result of carrying out this service activity is to test the extent to which the "Poscov" learning media can be implemented with students at the Tunas Islam Kindergarten, Semarang.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan makna Kadong Gelong Bugi’ dalam acara ritual adat rambu tuka’. Menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis semiotika. Semiotika, adalah pendekatan analisis yang digunakan untuk mencari makna dalam sebuah tanda. Tandadipandang dari dua sisi yakni penanda (signifier) adalah bentuk dan petanda (signified) adalah makna. Hubungan keduanya membentuk signifikasi berdasarkan aturan atau konvensi tertentu. Kadong gelong bugi’ merupakan pernyataan atau penggambaran keberhasilan keluarga tongkonan, kemasyhuran budaya Toraja, tongkonan sebagai pusat kebersamaan rumpun keluarga. Pengungkapan tersebut sesungguhnya bermakna penyampaian doa pengharapan dan permohonan, rasa syukur, dan kekaguman terhadap budaya dan alam sebagai ciptaan Tuhan.

Good quality of life (QoL) may provide conducive environment for school children to studyand perform better. Studies indicate that school children residing in isolated areaswith discontented quality of life did not perform academically. However, theissue of QoL and its relation to academic performance in a secluded island of Pulau Tuba is interesting to study. Thisis because, while Pulau Tuba is an isolated island, being part and partial of tourism industry inLangkawi had caused for the island to be unique and different. Therefore, this study investigated the possible relation between the residents QoL and the academicperformance of their children. An adapted questionnaire was used to collect the required data for the study. Several interviews with the local residents were also conducted to acquire the necessary data in order to supportthefindings of the study. The study found that the villagers are enjoying their good quality of life. Nevertheless, that could not contribute much in better academic performance of the school children. Tri-angulation using interviews was conducted to validate the findings and dig out the answers to the anomaly. Recommendations were figured out as the ways to improve theacademic performance of the school children.

Dalam pelaksanaan ritual Aluk Rampe Mataallo mengarah ke timur, dan Aluk Rampe Matampu’ mengarah ke barat. Ritual yang mengarah ke barat dijalankan dalam hubungannya dengan penguburan orang mati, Sedang ritual ke timur atau ke arah matahari terbit berhubungan dengan kemakmuran. Aluk Rampe Mataallo identik pula dengan Aluk Rambu Tuka’, sedang Aluk Rampe Matampu’ juga sama dengan Aluk Rambu Solo’ yang merupakan warisan ajaran leluhur suku Toraja yang biasa disebut Aluk Todolo. Aluk Rampe Mataallo atau Rambu Tuka’ merupakan upacara adat yang lebih menekankan pada ucapan syukur. Sementara ritual Aluk Rampe Matampu’ merupakan upacara adat kematian masyarakat Toraja yang bertujuan untuk menghormati dan mengantar arwah orang yang meninggal dunia menuju alam roh, yaitu kembali kepada keabadian bersama para leluhur. Ritual-ritual adat ini memiliki nilai-nilai tertentu dalam kehidupan sukuToraja, yakni sebagai penghormatan terhadap leluhur, simpati dan empati, melestarikan budaya, perekat suku, dan spiritualitas. Nilai-nilai tersebut merupakan pengamalan dari nilai sila pertama Pancasila. Penelitian dilaksanakan melalui pengumpulan data dengan teknik kepustakaan, sedang analisis data menggunakan metode hermeneutika.

This research proposes a new metaheuristic algorithm based on World Cup Optimization (WCO) to determine the optimal values of the Proportional Integral Deviation (PID) controller for the load frequency control problem. An islanded hybrid power system consists of a Wind Turbine Generator (WTG), Diesel Generation (DEG), and an Energy Storage System (ESS), such as a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Super Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES), and an Ultra Capacitor (UC) unit. A single-area power system was designed as a model network for the MATLAB-Simulink simulation. Furthermore, a hybrid system was employed with Proportional-Integral (PI) controllers and PI derivative controllers with proportionate gains to the DEG, and an ESS. A comparative performance assessment of the WCP was conducted to tune the PI and PID controllers. The simulation results indicate that a renewable integrated isolated power system with an Energy Storage System (ESS) tuned with a PID controller provides better responses than the PI controller for different loading conditions. Based on time settling, transient, and overshoot analysis, it is proven that a WCO-tuned PID controller is better than a PI controller.

Penelitian ini bertujuan Mendeskripsikan Pola Asuh Orang Tua Dalam Mengembangkan Kecerdasan Spiritual Anak, Mendeskripsikan Peran Guru Dalam Mengembangkan Kecerdasan Spiritual Anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Objek penelitian pada orang tua dan guru PAUD Tunas Harapan pekawai. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Tahap dalam pengumpulan data penelitian meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan yaitu pola asuh orang tua dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan spiritual anak begitu penting diajarkan kepada anak di lingkungan keluarga maupun di kehidupan sehari-hari anak. Orang tua berperan dalam membimbing, mendidik dan membina anak didalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang diajarkan melalui pembiasaan membaca do’a, mengucapkan salam, yang dilakukan orang tua tanpa disadari oleh anak, orang tua sudah menanamkan nilai-nilai agama melalui pembiasaan. Peran guru dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan spiritual anak juga penting dilaksanakan di sekolah maupun pada saat proses pembelajaran sesuai dengan proses yang ditentukan oleh sekolah. Pelaksanaan yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan spiritual pada anak, dimulai semenjak anak datang hingga pulang sekolah, mengenalkan agama pada anak, mengajarkan anak- anak mengucapkan salam, membaca doa- doa pendek, guru mengajarkan anak membiasakan untuk berdoa dengan tertib melalui pembiasaan. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan mengembangkan kecerdasan spiritual pada anak merupakan tanggung jawab bersama, bukan hanya orang tua saja tapi gurunya juga sama-sama bertanggung jawab dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan spiritual kepada anak.

Purpose Robotic arm control is challenging due to the intrinsic nonlinearity. Proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controllers prevail in many robotic arm applications. However, it is usually nontrivial to tune the parameters in a PID controller. This paper aims to propose a model-based control strategy of robotic arms. Design/methodology/approach A Takagi–Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model, which is capable of approximating nonlinear systems, is used to describe the dynamics of a robotic arm. Model predictive control (MPC) based on the T-S fuzzy model is considered, which optimizes system performance with respect to a user-defined cost function. Findings The control gains are optimized online according to the real-time system state. Furthermore, the proposed method takes into account the input constraints. Simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the fuzzy MPC approach. It is shown that asymptotic stability is achieved for the closed-loop control system. Originality/value The T-S fuzzy model is discussed in the modeling of robotic arm dynamics. Fuzzy MPC is used for robotic arm control, which can optimize the transient performance with respect to a user-defined criteria.

The sand flea Tunga penetrans is one of the zoonotic agents of tungiasis, a parasitic skin disease of humans and animals. The dog is one of its main reservoirs. This negatively controlled, randomized, double-masked clinical trial evaluated the therapeutic and residual efficacy of fluralaner for treatment of dogs naturally infested with T. penetrans. Sixty-two dogs from an endemically affected community in Brazil were randomly assigned to either receive oral fluralaner (Bravecto chewable tablets) at a dose of 25 to 56 mg fluralaner/kg body weight, or no treatment (31 dogs per group). Dogs were clinically examined using a severity score for acute canine tungiasis (SCADT), parasitological examinations as defined by the Fortaleza classification, and pictures of lesions on days 0 (inclusion and treatment), 7 ± 2, 14 ± 2, 21 ± 2, 28 ± 2, 60 ± 7, 90 ± 7, 120 ± 7 and 150 ± 7. The percentage of parasite-free dogs after treatment was >90% between days 14 and 90 post-treatment with 100% efficacy on study days 21, 28 and 60. Sand flea counts on fluralaner treated dogs were significantly lower (p<0.025) than control dogs on all counts from day 7 to 120. The number of live sand fleas on treated dogs was reduced by > 90% on day 7, > 95% on days 14 and 90, and 100% from day 21 to 60, and with a significant difference between groups from day 7 to 120. From day 7 to day 120, mean SCADT scores were significantly reduced in treated dogs with a mean of 0.10 compared to 1.54 on day 120 in untreated dogs. Therefore, a single oral fluralaner administration is effective for treating and achieving long lasting (> 12 weeks) prevention for tungiasis in dogs.

Keselamatan dan kenyamanan crew dan penumpang diatas KM. Airaha 02 sangat perlu dipertimbangkan demi kelancaran proses operasi penangkapan ikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Olah Gerak Kapal Latih KM. Airaha 02 akibat gelombang acak, sehingga dapat mengetahui tingkat kenyamanan penumpang berdasarkan kriteria ISO 2631 melalui analisis Motion Sickness Incident (MSI). Analisis dilakukan dengan metode reverse engineering. Model 3D dibuat berdasarkan data general arrangement dari KM. Airaha 02, ukuran utama, dan hasil survey langsung. Olah gerak kapal akibat eksitasi gelombang didapatkan dari hasil analisis RAO, selanjutnya tingkat kenyamanan dilakukan dengan analisis MSI. Gerakan terbesar yang dialami oleh KM Airaha 02 yaitu gerakan surge seberar 2,8 m/m dan roll sebesar 6,1 deg/m. Penumpang mulai merasakan ketidaknyamanan setelah 2 jam perjalanan ketika gelombang datang dari arah head seas. Jika arah datang gelombang dari samping, penumpang mulai merasakan ketidaknyamanan setelah 8 jam perjalanan.

Media generally and broadcast media in particular are central to the survival and sustainability of any democratic dispensation like that of Nigeria. Democracy world over cannot function effectively without information sharing and this is done through the media. The Nigerian media is made up of print, electronic and the newly social media whose constitutional role is to inform, educate and entertain the general public fairly. Therefore, during any electioneering contest, the media is employed to canvass for votes by different parties against their opponents. This paper examines the role of the broadcast media during the 2015 and 2019 presidential elections in Nigeria, the study is a comparative one. Secondary source of data that included relevant books, articles, pamphlet etc. were utilized in the study. It was found that, the coverage by public stations during the 2015 presidential election was not fair to the opposition parties, since the outfit was dancing to the tune of the ruling party against other contenders. The private stations on the same elections covered the exercise more fairly and objectively by given a level playing ground for all parties to canvass for votes freely without any restriction. On the other hand, the coverage of the 2019 presidential election by both public and private stations was fairer and objective to both parties. It is therefore, recommended that, broadcast media should not serve as the mouthpiece of any political party. It should play it constitutional role of being the watch dog of the society by educating and informing the public especially during elections fairly to elect the candidate of their choice.

Results of measurements for 3 years (1981–1983) of 14C activity of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIG) in water samples from the Korana River, as well as that of recent tufa and aquatic plants, showed that 14C concentration increases from karst spring to the estuary. A model describing the increase of 14C activity was developed assuming that the increase is due to the exchange of the dissolved CO2 in stream water with atmospheric CO2 and to dissolution of CO2 from the decay of organic material and root respiration. It is possible to distinguish these two contributions by measuring the δ13C values of DIC in water. As expected, our data show that the exchange process between atmospheric CO2 and DIC dominates at rapids and waterfalls, while biologic contribution is much higher in lakes and along the lowland flow of the Korana River. Agreement between the calculated and the measured activities supports the proposed mechanisms of chemical and isotopic exchanges in stream waters.

Human milk lipids generally have the maximum long-chain fatty acids at the sn-2 position of the glycerol backbone. This positioning makes them more digestible than long-chain fatty acids located at the sn-1, 3 positions. These unique fatty acid distributions are not found elsewhere in nature. When lactation is insufficient, infant formula milk has been used as a substitute. However, the distribution of most fatty acids ininfant formula milk is still different from human milk. Therefore, structured lipids were produced by the redistribution of medium-chain fatty acids from commercial butterfat (CBF) and n-3 and n-6 long-chain fatty acids from skipjack tuna eyeball oil (STEO). Redistribution was carried out via transesterification facilitated by Asian seabass liver lipase (ASL-L). Under the optimum conditions including a CBF/STEO ratio (3:1), transesterification time (60 h), and ASL-L unit (250 U), the newly formed modified-STEO (M-STEO) contained 93.56% triacylglycerol (TAG), 0.31% diacylglycerol (DAG), and 0.02% monoacylglycerol (MAG). The incorporated medium-chain fatty acids accounted for 18.2% of M-STEO, whereas ASL-L could incorporate 40% of n-3 fatty acids and 25–30% palmitic acid in M-STEO. The 1H NMRA and 13CNMR results revealed that the major saturated fatty acid (palmitic acid) and unsaturated fatty acids (DHA and EPA) were distributed at the sn-2 position of the TAGs in M-STEO. Thus, M-STEO enriched with medium-chain fatty acids and n-3 fatty acids positioned at the sn-2 position of TAGs can be a potential substitute for human milk fatty acids in infant formula milk (IFM).

A Controller is generally considered as a continuous and discrete mode of execution by a huge sample period that may result in degenerated dynamic performance or system instability. Nowadays, the maximum penetration in thermal, wind, hydropower systems has decreased the power system inertia that leads to rapid frequency response and higher frequency deviation followed by contingencies and requires rapid load frequency control. The goal of load frequency control (LFC) is to achieve zero steady-state errors in frequency deviations and minimize unscheduled tie-line power flows among the interconnected areas. The study of the literature reveals that a lot of research has been carried out in this area to achieve the desired objectives using different approaches. This manuscript proposes an optimization algorithm called Duelist Optimization Algorithm (DOA) in a three area interconnected power system consisting of thermal, wind, and hydro generating systems. The proposed system introduces an adaptive PID fuzzy controller whose parameters are optimized by the DOA algorithm. The Duelist Optimization algorithm is used to optimally tune the parameters of the controller in order to keep the system frequency deviation within the threshold limit, and maintain the power balance among the control areas during load variations. The proposed method is simulated in MATLAB / Simulink environment for the estimation of its performance and then compared with some of the existing techniques such as Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) optimization algorithm, Bacteria Foraging Optimization (BFO), and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm. The simulation result established the suprerioty of the proposed method over the other methods.

During the past few decades, there has been significant growth in the renewable energy market because of increased concern over global warming and the continuous depletion of fossil fuel resources. There is a promising solar thermal technology that utilizes low-temperature heat to generate electricity. The conversion process of thermal energy to electricity is based on the principle of an organic Rankine cycle (ORC). This study investigated a novel islanded hybrid power system consisting of an ORC low temperature solar thermal system, wind (WTG), diesel generation (DEG) set, and combined application of an energy storage system (ESS), such as a battery (BESS), super magnetic energy storage (SMES), and an ultracapacitor (UC) unit. Furthermore, the hybrid system was employed with a single controller (one of proportional-integral (PI), PI with derivative (PID), two-degree-of-freedom (2DOF) PI, and 2DOF PID controllers) with proportionate gains to the DEG, and the ESS, which is another unique aspect of this work. Moreover, a comparative performance assessment of the flower pollination algorithm (FPA) to tune the PI, PID, 2DOF PI, and 2DOF PID controllers was carried out. Finally, the performance of the above hybrid system was compared with different ESS combinations, namely, (i) only BESS, (ii) BESS + UC, and (iii) BESS + SMES. The simulation results indicated that a renewable integrated isolated power system with BESS + SMES provided a better response than the other ESS combinations. In fact, the presence of comparative dynamic responses verified the superiority of an FPA-tuned 2DOF PID compared with other FPA-tuned controllers.

An event-related brain potential (ERP) reflecting the acoustic-phonetic process in the phonological stage of word processing was recorded to the terminal words of spoken sentences. The peak latency of this negative-going response occurred between 270 and 300 msec after the onset of the terminal word. The independence of this response (the phonological mismatch negativity, PMN) from the ERP component known to be sensitive to semantic violations (N400) was demonstrated by manipulating sentence endings so that phonemic and semantic violations occurred together or separately. Four conditions used sentences that ended with (1) the highest Cloze probability word (e.g., “The piano was out of tune.”), (2) a word having the same initial phoneme of the highest Cloze probability word but that was, in fact, semantically anomalous (e.g., “The gambler had a streak of bad luggage.”), (3) a word having an initial phoneme different from that of the highest Cloze probability word but that was, in fact, semantically appropriate (e.g., “Don caught the ball with his glove.”), or (4) a word that was semantically anomalous and, therefore, had an initial phoneme that was totally unexpected given the sentence's context (e.g., “The dog chased our cat up the queen”). Neither the PMN nor the N400 was found in the first condition. Only an N400 was observed in the second condition while only a PMN was seen in the third. Both responses were elicited in the last condition. Finally, a delayed N400 occurred to semantic violations in the second condition where the initial phoneme was identical to that of the highest Cloze probability ending. Results are discussed with regard to the Cohort model of word recognition.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Tradisi Mandoa sambareh di Padang Pariaman dan proses pembuatan sambareh dalam tradisi Mandoa sambareh di Padang Pariaman untuk meningkatkan minat generasi muda dalam menyantap makanan tradisional sambareh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. metode sastra, yaitu dengan mengumpulkan berbagai bacaan dari sumber-sumber yang ada, kemudian dianalisis dan dipadukan dengan permasalahan yang dipertimbangkan. Bagi sebagian masyarakat setempat, bulan Rajab atau Sambareh juga mempunyai nama lain yaitu “bulan anak”, karena tujuan mereka melaksanakan tradisi ini adalah untuk mendoakan arwah orang yang meninggal seperti orang tua atau anak. Di Padang Pariaman, para pendeta yang mengaji diberi gelar Tuanku, Tuanku adalah orang yang memimpin salat atas nama orang yang mengamalkan tradisi tersebut. Tuanku ini biasanya ada di setiap desa dan diundang ke rumah-rumah penduduk untuk melakukan sambareh mula. Di Sambareh müla terdapat kitab doa khusus yang dibaca pada saat acara müla. Tidak seperti doa-doa kebanyakan karena di dalam buku ini terdapat bacaan khusus untuk berdoa dengan makanan sumbareh. Eksekusi Sambareh müla sendiri biasanya dilakukan pada malam hari, namun ada juga yang sore hari. Biasanya orang yang ingin salat terlebih dahulu menyiapkan sambareh di rumah. Setelah itu warga memanggil Tuanku untuk membacakan doa. Saat tuanku memasuki rumah warga, doa pun dipanjatkan. Sebelum mula tentu ada tujuannya, yang disebut “kaba”. Ka'bah sendiri biasanya merupakan ucapan kepada orang yang telah meninggal, kepada ladang kebaikan, untuk memperlancar rezeki seseorang, tentunya doa bulan kanak-kanak ini tidak luput dari doa ka'bah ini. Setelah selesai salat, tuan rumah mempersembahkan makanan seperti yang biasa dilakukan bagal, yaitu. nasi dan sambal. Ketika makan selesai, sambaraeh disajikan kepada Tuhan. Sambareh ini disajikan dengan saus cocolan. Setelah Sang Guru makan, Sang Guru mencicipi sambareh tersebut, Setelah itu Sang Guru pulang ke rumah, namun sebelum kembali Sang Guru juga menerima sedekah. Menurut kepercayaan masyarakat, sedekah bermanfaat untuk tabungan akhirat dan juga agar doa kita sampai dan diterima oleh Yang Maha Kuasa. Selain sedekah, Tuanku juga diberi sebungkus sambareh untuk dibawa pulang. Begitulah pelaksanaan tradisi sambareh müla yang masih eksis hingga saat ini. Tradisi ini terus berkembang di masyarakat. Karena masyarakat umum mengimani sambareh mula di bulan Rajab, hal ini dikaitkan dengan peristiwa penting bagi umat Islam yang juga terjadi di bulan tersebut. Walaupun bulan Rajab telah digantikan dengan bulan anak-anak atau Sambareh, namun bulan ini merupakan bulan yang dimuliakan, sehingga Padang Pariaman khususnya Padang Pariaman mempunyai tradisi tersendiri di bulan ini. Menurut mereka, Sunnah Nabi bisa kita penuhi dengan makanan, dan makanan tersebut merupakan simbol dalam tradisi. Kalau sekedar bagal, hari-hari biasa juga bisa, namun dengan semaraknya bulan Sambareh, masyarakat pun turut menghormatinya dengan menambahkan sambareh sebagai simbol datangnya bulan Rajab. Generasi muda kita kedepannya diharapkan tetap menjaga tradisi yang ada, karena tradisi seperti müla sambareh mempunyai arti tersendiri bagi masyarakat. Generasi penerus kita hendaknya lebih memperhatikan tradisi karena tradisi bagal merupakan identitas Minangakabau dan Padang Pariaman, khususnya daerah Padang Pariaman. Tradisi ini harus selalu dilestarikan agar tidak punah.Bulan Rajab merupakan bulan ketujuh diantara 12 bulan penanggalan Hijriah. Sering dikatakan bahwa bulan ini adalah bulan kebaikan, “bulan Allah” dan seterusnya. Keutamaan bulan Rajab yang sering disebutkan yaitu puasa 7 hari di bulan Rajab menutup pintu neraka dan puasa 8 hari membuka 8 pintu surga. Di daerah Padang Pariaman, bulan Rajab sering disebut dengan bulan Sambareh. Sambareh adalah makanan yang terbuat dari tepung beras atau disebut juga serabi. Bagi sebagian masyarakat setempat, Bulan Rajab atau Bulan Sambareh juga disebut dengan nama lain “Anak Kanak Bulan” karena tujuan mereka melaksanakan tradisi ini adalah untuk mendoakan mereka. arwah yang telah meninggal seperti orang tua atau anak yang telah meninggal.

Theoretically, the benefits of this research are expected to be able to provide an overview of the Implementation of Direct Village Fund Cash Assistance (Village Fund BLT) in Mekarsari Village, Gunungsari District, West Lombok. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Mathematical modeling and data-driven methodologies are frequently required to optimize industrial processes in the context of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). This paper introduces the PipeGraph software library, an open-source python toolbox for easing the creation of machine learning models by using Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG)-like implementations that can be used for CPS. scikit-learn’s Pipeline is a very useful tool to bind a sequence of transformers and a final estimator in a single unit capable of working itself as an estimator. It sequentially assembles several steps that can be cross-validated together while setting different parameters. Steps encapsulation secures the experiment from data leakage during the training phase. The scientific goal of PipeGraph is to extend the concept of Pipeline by using a graph structure that can handle scikit-learn’s objects in DAG layouts. It allows performing diverse operations, instead of only transformations, following the topological ordering of the steps in the graph; it provides access to all the data generated along the intermediate steps; and it is compatible with GridSearchCV function to tune the hyperparameters of the steps. It is also not limited to (X,y) entries. Moreover, it has been proposed as part of the scikit-learn-contrib supported project, and is fully compatible with scikit-learn. Documentation and unitary tests are publicly available together with the source code. Two case studies are analyzed in which PipeGraph proves to be essential in improving CPS modeling and optimization: the first is about the optimization of a heat exchange management system, and the second deals with the detection of anomalies in manufacturing processes.

Parallel robots are being increasingly used as a fundamental component of lower-limb rehabilitation systems. During rehabilitation therapies, the parallel robot must interact with the patient, which raises several challenges to the control system: (1) The weight supported by the robot can vary from patient to patient, and even for the same patient, making standard model-based controllers unsuitable for those tasks since they rely on constant dynamic models and parameters. (2) The identification techniques usually consider the estimation of all dynamic parameters, bringing about challenges concerning robustness and complexity. This paper proposes the design and experimental validation of a model-based controller comprising a proportional-derivative controller with gravity compensation applied to a 4-DOF parallel robot for knee rehabilitation, where the gravitational forces are expressed in terms of relevant dynamic parameters. The identification of such parameters is possible by means of least squares methods. The proposed controller has been experimentally validated, holding the error stable following significant payload changes in terms of the weight of the patient’s leg. This novel controller allows us to perform both identification and control simultaneously and is easy to tune. Moreover, its parameters have an intuitive interpretation, contrary to a conventional adaptive controller. The performance of a conventional adaptive controller and the proposed one are compared experimentally.

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk membahas tentang tradisi Bara’an masyarakat Bengkalis dan nilai-nilai karakter yang terkandung dalam ini dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber pembelajaran IPS, khususnya untuk sumber penguatan karakter pada anak didik di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis-deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian berada di Desa Pambang Baru, Kecamatan Bantan, Kabupaten Bengkalis, Provinsi Riau. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara melakukan studi lapangan, studi literatur, dan wawancara yang kemudian dianalisis sesuai tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi Bara'an ini mirip dengan “halal bi halal” yang banyak dilakukan masyarakat Nusantara, tetapi khusus di Bengkalis dilaksanakan dalam bentuk yang berbeda, yakni diawali dengan bersalaman dan saling memaafkan dengan tuan rumah, mencicipi hidangan yang disediakan, pembacaan shalawat kepada Nabi Muhammad SAW yang disebut dengan “Marhaban” dan di akhiri dengan pembacaan doa selamat oleh seorang imam atau pemimpin rombongan. Nilai-nilai karakter yang muncul dari tradisi bara’an berupa nilai religus, nasionalisme, kemandirian, gotong royong, dan integritas yang direlevankan dengan upaya penguatan karakter oleh pemerintah Indonesia. Nilai-nilai karakter yang telah direkontruksi dari tradisi bara’an dapat diintegrasikan dalam materi pembelajaran IPS dengan desain pembelajaran IPS terpadu tematik berdasarkan topik yang tersedia.

Shell Heavy Oil Fractionator (SHOF) adalah jenis kolom distilasi yang digunakan untuk memisahkan heavy oil mentah menjadi produk-produk yang diinginkan berdasarkan perbedaan titik didih dari masing-masing produk tersebut. Perancangan kendali pada SHOF memiliki beberapa kendala yang disebabkan oleh non-linearitas pada proses, interaksi multivariabel, adanya waktu tunda (dead time) yang panjang, dan adanya gangguan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dibutuhkan metode kendali yang mampu membuat respon sistem mengikuti perubahan set point dan meredam gangguan, sehingga keluaran komposisi produk sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Pada penelitian ini dibahas perancangan metode IMC 2 DoF untuk pengendalian SHOF MIMO 3x3 terdesentralisasi dalam bentuk fungsi alih first order plus dead time (FOPDT), hal ini dikarenakan metode IMC 2 DoF merupakan salah satu jenis metode kendali modern yang mampu mengendalikan plant multivariabel dan meredam gangguan yang ada. Tuning parameter filter pada pengendali ini menggunakan empat metode tuning parameter filter IMC. Interaksi antar subsistem dikurangi dengan menerapkan metode Relative Gain Array dan melakukan decoupling. Berdasarkan seluruh pengujian yang telah dilakukan, pengendali IMC 2 DoF menggunakan decoupling metode tuning parameter filter Rivera memiliki jumlah nilai IAE terbaik dibandingkan dengan ketiga metode tuning lainnya dengan nilai IAE 93,9585 pada respon , 40,0476 pada respon , dan 0,0102 pada respon .

Santau ialah sejenis bahan sihir yang disediakan daripada ramuan-ramuan bagi tujuan menyakiti dan mencederakan seseorang; dipuja melaui mantera-mantera dan kaedah tertentu bagi menghadirkan jin untuk menyeksa mangsa sehingga ada yang mati perlahan-lahan dalam kesengsaraan. Boleh dikatakan santau diamalkan hampir di semua negara-negara Asia Tenggara, hanya mungkin dengan nama yang berbeza-beza; di Indonesia ia dikenali sebagai “santet”. Artikel ini bertujuan mengenal pasti kesan teknik ‘Tepuk Daun Nangka’ sebagai kaedah rawatan yang kompeten, sistematik dan komprehensif terhadap pesakit santau, dalam memenuhi keperluan Perubatan Tradisional dan Komplementari (PT&K). Kajian kes ke atas seorang lelaki Melayu, berusia 42 tahun yang bertugas di sebuah agensi kerajaan dengan simptom terkena santau yang serius, adalah dibincangkan. Mangsa mengalami keadaan najis berwarna hitam pekat, tidur malam yang sering terganggu akibat badan tiba-tiba terasa panas dan berasa gelisah. Pada minggu ketiga, mangsa mendapati sedikit titisan darah daripada bahagian tekak, pernafasan menjadi tidak selesa, emosi terganggu sepeti kurang sabar dan mudah naik angin. Pada bulan-bulan pertama menjalani rawatan, beberapa tindak balas telah berlaku pada badan mangsa, seperti timbul ruam yang banyak. Selepas dua kali mendapatkan rawatan ‘Tepuk Daun Nangka’ (kaedah ruqyah atau doa) daripada Tuan Haji Mokhtar Kassan, mangsa mula merasakan perubahan positif pada tahap kesihatannya. Mangsa diberi minum air rebusan daun dukung anak sebagai ubat dalaman untuk menghilangkan batuk, mencuci perut, memudahkan bahan-bahan santau keluar, menambah selera makan dan bagi memulihkan tenaga. Selepas beberapa kali mendapatkan rawatan darpada Tuan Haji Mokhtar Kassan, keadaan magsa telah pulih sepenuhnya. Peningkatan tahap kesihatan yang luar biasa berlaku selepas dua kali menjalani rawatan. Selain daripada memberikan hasil positif, kaedah rawatan ‘Tepuk Daun Nangka’ sebagai Perubatan Tradisional dan Komplementari (PT&K) adalah sistematik serta mampu memulihkan kesihatan tubuh badan mangsa santau dengan segera. Impak kajian adalah untuk menyediakan satu kaedah rawatan khusus bagi mangsa santau yang sistematik dan komprehensif, serta melahirkan perawat Islam yang pakar, patuh syariah dengan mematuhi keperluan Akta 775 (Akta Perubatan Tradisional dan Komplementari, 2016).
