Texto completoPrecise inference of Gene Regulatory Networks (GRNs) remains to this day a challenging task in the systems biology field but would allow us to explain the processes of cellular decision-making. Previous work in our team has led to the proposal of an iterative GRN inference algorithm that does not produce a single GRN but rather an ensemble of executable candidate networks. This thesis proposes a strategy for GRN selection from an ensemble that relies on design of experiments. First, we introduce two Python libraries for the storage and manipulation of the very large datasets generated by the simulation of our GRNs. These libraries control the memory footprint of large and dense matrices. Then, we propose a design of experiment strategy for selecting networks. A small number of promising perturbations is selected by topological analysis of the GRNs. Perturbations are simulated and the most discriminative is chosen. Finally, we developed an algorithm for controlling GRNs by determining the sequence of stimuli to apply to reach a desired cell state. A proof of concept is presented
