Manuscript RB II 2534 from the Real Biblioteca de Madrid contains an unpublished poem by Guillaume des Autelz, addressed and dedicated in 1559 to Antoine Perrenot de Granvelle, bishop of Arras. This study aims to provide the edition of this poem and to contextualize it in the literary trajectory of this poet of the Pléiade. We will observe the evolution that characterizes Des Autelz's trajectory and how, through his relationship with Granvelle, the poet tries to obtain a certain recognition from the Habsburgs.

Abstract: The article analyzes the trajectory of Antônio de Oli veira Cadornega, author of História Geral das Guerras Angolanas (1680). We examine aspects of the work linked to the author’s concerns - the wars involving the Portuguese, the Dutch, and the kingdoms of Congo and Angola - highlighting his Lusocentric position. The 1972 printed edition is used, as well as the bibliography about the work and its author. We seek connections between the writing of the text and the Portuguese political crisis in the seventeenth century, including the inquisitorial one, as well as between the history of its editions and the Portuguese context in the 20th century. The focus of our reflection, however, is that Cadornega was a New Christian, through his mother, and may have practiced Crypto-Judaism, whether in his youth in Vila Viçosa, or in Africa, like the group of Portuguese New Christians studied by Horta and Mark in Senegambia, in The Forgotten Diaspora (2011).

Lotus was a tri-lingual quarterly brought out by the Afro-Asian Writers' Association. Initially titled Afro-Asian Writings, its inaugural edition was launched from Cairo in March 1968, in Arabic and English, followed by the French. By 1971, the trilingual quarterly acquired the name Lotus. Egypt, the Soviet Union, and the German Democratic Republic funded its production. The Arabic edition was printed in Cairo, and the English and French editions were printed in the German Democratic Republic. The Afro-Asian Writers' Association (AAWA) and its over-arching affiliate, the Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Organization (AAPSO), both had headquarters in Cairo. In 1978, President Anwar Sadat signed the Camp David Accords and the Permanent Bureau in Cairo was deactivated. Lotus moved to Beirut despite the raging Civil War, where it was was granted home and hospitality by the Union of Palestinian Writers. Its offices remained there until the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982 when it once again relocated along with the Palestinian Liberation Organization to Tunis. The journal was discontinued in the late 1980s or early 1990s with the dismantling of the Soviet Union. The Permanent Bureau in Cairo was reinstated, but the journal was not as such reactivated. The project outlines a partial biography of a forgotten magazine from a bipolar world and its interrupted historical networks. It considers graphic and textual elements from the margins of the magazine for evidence of its trajectory.

It’s January, and the JPT issue has a new look and a new digital edition. I would like to take the opportunity to thank the JPT staff, led by Pam Boschee and Glenda Smith, along with the JPT Editorial Review Committee, for producing exciting articles and technology news every month. For some, the move to a digital-only issue of JPT has disrupted reading and sharing habits. While I know that many of you miss having a print version, the SPE Board believes that remaining digital is the right decision as we look to the future. We’ve changed the digital edition this month. Your feedback on how we can make the digital version match your expectations is very important. I want to take the opportunity to wish you, your family, and those who matter to you an excellent year following the roller coaster we experienced in 2021. Last year started with the hope that the rapid development of vaccines soon would be providing us protection against the COVID-19 virus. However, the numerous waves of infection (we are now in the fifth in many countries) and the various mutations of the virus have kept health authorities and governments in a reactive mode. With the number of COVID-19-related fatalities worldwide above 5 million at the end of 2021, nearly all of us had family or friends who were affected. For the economy in general and our industry in particular, 2022 will bring a bag of uncertainties. Mohamed El-Erian, a recognized economic expert, said at 2021 ADIPEC, “The recovery from the pandemic crisis can be characterized by the U’s: uneven, unusual, uncertain.” The December 2021 OECD Economic Outlook mentions, “The rebound is losing some momentum as the surge in demand for goods has met bottlenecks in production chains. Inflation pressures have emerged in all economies.” Among the risks associated with the large stimulus packages are bottlenecks in production chains, disruptions in commodities and energy supply, high inflation rates (which developed economies had not seen for the past 2 decades), and the loss of momentum in the economic rebound. In terms of the upstream activity outlook, James West, senior managing director at Evercore, in an optimistic outlook recently said, “The spending cycle begins anew: 2021 was the beginning,” adding that “2022 is acceleration.” For our industry, this is great news following two sharp downcycles in less than 6 years. The year 2021 ended on a high note. 2021 ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi was a great success from organizational, technical, and attendance standpoints. In addition to the excellent papers and panels, the exhibition attracted large numbers of visitors (in line with 2019 ADIPEC). I was impressed by the eagerness of participants to meet. The exhibition booths were busy with members that wanted to discuss innovation until the last hours of the fourth day of the conference. Great attention was given to ensure the health and safety of the participants. I had the pleasure to attend the SPE Abu Dhabi Section dinner, and I was pleased to see how much progress has been made in diversity and inclusion.

English L2 Reading: Getting to the Bottom, now in its fourth edition, has timely responded to the psycholinguistic turn in reading studies over decades. With purposefully modified and updated sections on metalinguistic awareness in terms of pedagogical value, the latest edition provides a focused overview of central issues in understanding L2 English reading processors with practical considerations on their direct relevance to pedagogical interventions. This book review will firstly present a brief account of each chapter's underlying concerns and then offer critical comments on the latest version's theoretical implications in relation to current trends in L2 instruction research.

When a test is revised, it is important that test users are made aware of the comparability of scores of the new and the original test. We examined how scores on the Test of Gross Motor Development–Second Edition (TGMD-2) and Test of Gross Motor Development–Third Edition (TGMD-3) compared among children in middle childhood. Participants were 270 children recruited in grade 3 (54% female; Mage = 8 years 6 months) and followed through grade 5. Participants completed the skills of both tests. Subtest scores were converted into percent of maximum possible (POMP) scores to facilitate comparison. Although similar, uniformly the TGMD-3 POMP scores were slightly lower. Repeated measures analyses of variance revealed that locomotor subtest scores derived from both tests improved from grade 3 to grade 5, as did TGMD-3 assessed ball skills. However, there was no difference in TGMD-2 assessed object control skills over time. It appears that under-contribution by the underhand roll suppressed the trajectory of improvement of TGMD-2 assessed object control skills. This finding supports the exclusion of the roll from the TGMD-3. The consistent pattern of sex-based differences in TGMD-2 object control skill and TGMD-3 ball skills reinforces the need for male and female norm-reference data for ball skills.

In legged robot movement planning, the leg must be carefully design before trajectory analysis can be done. The objective of this paper is to develop a 3 DOF leg which will be used in quadruped robot. In addition, forward kinematic and comparison between real and simulation of the leg is presented. To achieve the objective, SolidWorks 2013 x64 Edition is used to develop the 3D modeling of the leg while SimMechanics with First Generation Format was applied to export the models to Simulink. For the comparison purposes, real model of 3 DOF leg with Arduino Pro Mini 328 - 5V/16MHz as a microcontroller to control the rotation of three servomotors was constructed. With MIT AI2 Companion software, android apps is developed to send signal to rotate each servomotor wirelessly. The zero position of the leg robot has been determined and the maximum rotation range of each servomotor. This is very important in determination of D-H Parameters which allow the resolving of kinematics problems. It is found that specific rotations of each servomotor provide the trajectory pattern of the leg which is compared through Simulink and real model. Nevertheless, there are errors between simulation and real position of the robot leg due to the open loop system.

Abstract: The use of philosophical phenomenology for conceptual debates in psychiatric nosology and psychopathology is beginning to be recognized. In this paper, we extend this trajectory to include Tourette syndrome (TS), focusing on so-called premonitory urges (PU) preceding Tourettic tics. We clarify some inconsistencies around typology in both phenomenological description and medical classification (i.e., in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders , 5th edition, Text Revision, International Classification of Diseases , 10th edition [World Health Organization, 2004], and the scales that elicit PU). We show how a less typological approach might be usefully deployed in the field, that being the dimensional approach developed by Fernandez (2019a; 2019b). We test both the typological and dimensional approaches in relation to the experience and etiological role of PU in Tourette syndrome. Based on our synthesis of existing studies and new information garnered through phenomenological interviews (using an approach associated with "micro-phenomenology"), we argue that the role of PU in nosology challenges both the current "operational" criteria favored by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders , 5th edition, Text Revision, that are focused on behaviorally observed symptoms, as well as essential and prototypical phenomenological descriptions about a given "type" of experience.

Le domaine du son 3D est aujourd'hui en pleine effervescence du fait d'une combinaison de facteurs (normalisation de nouveaux formats audio, équipement des salles de cinéma, etc.). Les travaux effectués dans ce domaine se sont principalement concentrés sur le codage et le traitement du son 3D. Cependant, la création interactive de contenus sonores 3D n'est pas un problème trivial, car cette tâche nécessite de tracer ou d'éditer des trajectoires en trois dimensions pour animer des sources sonores dans l'espace. Dans cette thèse en Interaction Homme-Machine (IHM), nous considérons l'édition de trajectoires de sources sonores en 3D comme un cas particulier de tâche de modélisation 3D et proposons plusieurs contributions. Sur le plan conceptuel, nous proposons un espace de conception pour le tracé de trajectoires en trois dimensions. Nous présentons également une classification des contrôles de caméra existants en fonction du type de contrôle et des modalités utilisées. Sur le plan empirique, nous conduisons 5 études utilisateurs dans le but de créer une technique d'interaction pour le contrôle du point de vue orbital permettant d'effectuer une rotation de 3600 en utilisant le roulis de la tête. Enfin , nous présentons une implémentation de notre technique ainsi que son intégration dans le logiciel de modélisation 3D Blender et dans le logiciel Performer utilisé par Radio France pour contrôler la position de sources sonores dans le cadre de performances en son 3DThe field of 3D sound is experiencing rapid growth due to a combination of factors (standardization of new audio formats, equipment for cinemas, etc.). While mast of the work in this field has focused on 3D sound processing, creating 3D auditory content interactively remains a challenging task because il requires drawing and editing three dimensional trajectories to control the movement of audio sources in space. ln this thesis in Human-Computer Interaction (HGI), we consider the creation of audio source trajectories as a particular case of 3D modelling and propose the following contributions. On a conceptual level, we tirst present a design space of 3D trajectory creation techniques. We also propose a classification of existing camera controls in relation to the type of control and modalities. On an empirical level, we conducted five user studies in order to design a new interaction technique for orbital viewpoint control. This technique allows users to perform 360 wide rotations by leveraging head roll rotations. Finally, we propose an implementation of our interaction technique and present its integration with two applications: Blender, a well-known 3D modelling software, and Performer, which ls used by Radio France to place sound sources in 3D space during live events

Few issues in the historiography of the “Third Reich” have provoked as much acrimony in the academy as the debate over the nature of the Nazi state. To enable readers to appreciate Fraenkel’s contribution to this debate, this chapter provides a critical review of contending theories of the Nazi state, with particular reference to Franz Neumann’s Behemoth, first published in 1942, and in an enlarged edition in 1944, which has inspired much scholarship on the racial state. The rise of Behemoth corresponded directly with the decline of The Dual State in the final war and early postwar years. Neumann’s Behemoth, which has never gone out of print, exemplifies major shortcomings—theoretical, empirical, methodological—in early studies of Nazi rule. I argue that it gave rise in the 1950s and 1960s to an intellectual trajectory in scholarship on the Third Reich that has done a fair amount to obscure—rather than illuminate—the logic of Nazi dictatorship, including law’s role in it.

This paper explores the challenges and potential of the digitization processes of anthropological collections carried out in Argentina. Firstly, it briefly reviews the historical trajectory and implementation of these processes as an alternative to the access, visibility and use of anthropological collections. Subsequently, a historical overview of these processes in Argentina is presented. Taking as an example the initiatives of digitization of anthropological collections and archives carried out by the Laboratorio de Documentación e Investigaciónen Lingüística y Antropología, the Museo de Antropología and the Instituto de Antropología Córdoba, I examine the epistemological and ontological challenges of the digitization processes.

The analysis of the success of any exhibition depends on the visitor experience. The data required for analysis is usually painstakingly collected by hand. We propose a large-scale optical tracking pipeline to estimate visitor data such as visit trajectory, duration, and, potentially, other personal parameters like age, weight, and sex, yet remain ethically acceptable by obtaining visitor consent. We further show, in preliminary results, that the edge device has a localization error of 0.64 meters and an average precision of 0.2. With this work-in-progress, we intend to ensure a viable alternative to current data collection processes in museum research.Abstract

In this reflection, Sofia Matos Silva explores various approaches to immortality in science fiction. Toying with the literal meanings of immortality, eternity and timelessness, theoretical physics is used to acknowledge that, at some point on the universe's trajectory (an unfathomable number of years in the future) even matter itself will not be a possibility. Regardless of whether humanity manages to prolong its organic life by slowing senescence or finds a way to transfer itself to a digital counterpart, this is a deep time game. Just short of falling on gloomy or nihilistic thinking, the present reflection aims to provide an alternative to humanity's obsession with eternity as a life purpose by showing how our existence as a species is a wonder in itself and should be lived (and honoured) as such.

Abstract Pediatric hematology-oncology can be challenging for the palliative care advanced practice registered nurse (APRN). The palliative APRN must appreciate that children with a cancer or blood disease often suffer from a multitude of symptoms which threaten the intactness and quality of life of the child and family. Early integration of palliative care may mitigate suffering and fosters improved coping throughout the trajectory of the underlying disease. Specifically, the initiation of therapies with curative intent concurrently with those that ease suffering can promote quality of life and well-being. Due to the complexity of symptom management, essential crucial conversations, and the therapies’ impact on quality of life, the presence of a palliative APRN for these patients is vital.

Abstract Effective and compassionate communication is vital in palliative care, especially at the end of life. Using a family systems perspective, this chapter explores communication as the therapeutic thread woven through the fabric of a family’s grief over the trajectory of the patient’s illness and beyond the patient’s death. It discusses communication with families in person and by telephone when death is unexpected. It reviews significant barriers to end-of-life communication with vulnerable populations, such as those with sensory motor and cognitive deficits, severe and persistent mental illness, and developmental disabilities. It highlights communication challenges posed by COVID-19. It notes the importance of communication among advanced practice registered nurses to enhance their self-awareness and their ability to respond to patients at the end of life.

Investigative journalist Holiday scrutinizes the archival record to clarify the collision of historical forces that long haunted the trajectory of Ask the Dust. Informed by primary research into the John Fante papers at UCLA Library Special Collections and beyond, this essay explains how in falling victim to political pressures of the Second World War, the novel gains significance that remains relevant to our own age today. Before Mussolini’s fascist censors targeted Fante’s writings, agents of Adolf Hitler were hijacking the attention of Fante’s editor and draining the assets of his publisher for releasing an unauthorized, unexpurgated edition of the dictator’s notorious Mein Kampf in a legal case that went all the way to the United States Supreme Court. The issues involved in that case and their effects upon Ask the Dust teach us as much about Fante’s day and age as about our own era of alt-right provocateurship and #atnoplatform.

It describes the longitudinal support of the palliative APRN in fostering resilience in patients, family members, and other members of the healthcare team. Finally, it describes the necessity of care coordination to promote quality care.

Abstract Depressive symptoms are an expected response to psychosocial stress. Diagnosis of and living with a life-threatening, chronic illness cause psychosocial stress that can lead to depressive symptoms. Not all constellations of depressive symptoms, however, are of such severity or duration to constitute a depressive disorder. Irrespective of a diagnosis, depressive symptoms can impact negatively on the patient’s functioning and quality of life and that of their families. Depressive symptoms and depression are discussed across the illness trajectory, including biopsychosocial models of depression, advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) self-assessment, patient and family assessment techniques and tools, and evidence-based guidelines. Patient- and family-centered treatment approaches include pharmacological interventions and nonpharmacological techniques such as psychotherapy, complementary and alternative therapies, and wellness approaches. Because self-harm is associated with depression, patients must be assessed for suicide at every encounter, thus techniques for assessing and intervening are described.

Abstract This chapter provides the advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) with the structure and language that complement the classic patient-centered care model of autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, and justice. The chapter builds on the ethical foundation already inherent in the practice of palliative nursing, explaining ethical principles and skills to facilitate and guide navigation of ethical discussions. Throughout, the palliative APRN is recognized as being uniquely well-trained and situated within palliative care teams to be an advocate to ensure that the values, goals, perspectives, and concerns of patients, families, and fellow clinicians are appropriately heard in patient care conversations. Progressive illness with a long trajectory provides both the opportunity and the obligation for the palliative APRN to have these ongoing conversations. The importance of these conversations and clearly documenting them becomes even more urgent when the patient presents with advanced disease. An appendix is provided with common definitions and distinctions in palliative care ethics.

Active safety systems for powered two wheelers (PTWs) are considered a key pillar to further reduce the number of accidents and thus of injured riders and fatalities. Enhanced awareness for the current riding situation is required to improve the performance of current systems as well as to enable new ones; this includes the detection of the rider’s intention – the action that is planned by the rider for the short-term future. The prediction of a continuous trajectory for the upcoming seconds of the ride is one way to express rider intention. Our work pursues the prediction of the PTW lateral dynamic state by means of a roll angle trajectory over the upcoming 4 s of riding. A deep learning (DL) prediction model that is based on a Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) layer is optimized and trained for this task using a broad on-road riding dataset that focuses on the rural road environment. Inputs to the prediction model are PTW internal signals only, that are measurements of vehicle dynamics, rider inputs, and rider behavior. The latter two groups of signals are non-common for current series production PTWs and were especially added to our test bike before gathering the riding data set. The prediction performance of the optimized DL model is compared to a simple heuristic algorithm using multiple metrics in the roll angle and position trajectory domain. Evaluation on a representative test data set shows a significantly improved detection of rider intention by the DL model in all metrics. Reasonable lateral trajectory accuracy is achieved for 2-2.5 s of the total 4 s prediction horizon in cornering, given the chosen model architecture and input features. Furthermore, the feature importance of the especially added non-common measurement signals of steering and rider behavior is investigated in an ablation study.

To develop advanced motorcycle assistance systems, the focus is shifting towards the rider's abilities. A model in (Scherer et al. 2022) predicts motorcycle dynamics influenced by riders without specific rider or vehicle parameters. It employs mathematical functions to describe speed and roll angle changes, revealing differences among riders. Unlike previous stochastic approaches, this model allows clear interpretation of measurement data with rider-specific parameters like correction amplitudes and trends, aiding critical maneuver identification. The paper investigates applying this rider model to real traffic data. For this purpose, three riders (two experienced frequent riders and one inexperienced infrequent rider) on two different vehicles (Honda CBF 1000 and BMW K1200R Sport) were recorded and examined on a sample basis using a validated low-cost measurement technique with a total amount of n = 40 measurements. Taking into account evaluation curves suitable for proving the methodology, two consecutive country road curves were selected with a respective change in direction (equivalent to a yaw angle change of the vehicle between entering and exiting the curve) of approx. 180°. These were each driven through 5 times by all three riders under constant conditions in good, summer weather and road conditions. In addition, one of the riders drove through them in wintry and less than optimal road conditions at the beginning of the season. Initial findings assess the model's transferability to real traffic. The investigation results show its applicability, with rider-specific riding styles and parameterization functions, as well as the need to repeat the study with a large number of samples. The model accurately predicts future positions, with over 85% of maneuvers having less than a 2% lateral deviation. This demonstrates applicability under real conditions, confirming its efficacy beyond the closed terrain test in (Scherer et. al., 2022). In the future, this model will enable rider-dependent trajectory predictions with uncertainty intervals in real traffic situations.

The stopping area was divided into polygons to understand where most people stop before an intersection. Furthermore, it was examined where people continued to ride after stopping (path marked for cyclists or path marked for pedestrians) and this was compared with cyclists who did not stop. The aim of this study is to investigate cyclists’ stopping behaviour (e.g. stopping position) at intersections with consideration of the impact of groups, wrong-way riding and road usage. It is to be investigated whether cyclists alone behave differently than cyclists in groups and whether there are differences in the two groups for wrong way cyclists. Both - cyclists alone (69.38%) and cyclists in groups (84.57%) - crossed the intersection more frequently without stopping within the observation period. In all cases, cyclists stopped more often at the bicycle stopping line or used the special marked bicycle lane, thereby complying with the law. Most wrong way cyclists on the special marked bicycle lane were found for cyclists alone with stopping (10%, n = 27) and cyclists in groups with stopping (8%, n = 12). The speeds were also compared. The speeds between cyclists alone and cyclists in groups differ slightly, and the stopping behaviour is very similar if the special marked bicycle lane is used after the stop. The information can be used to improve models of cyclists’ behaviour, for example in microscopic simulations, in which cyclists only stop at clearly defined locations. Furthermore, the results of this study will provide further knowledge, which help developing autonomous driving functions correctly anticipating cycle behaviour at intersections.

Nevertheless, the cyclists still cross the intersection, partly also on the footpath, which is not rule compliant and unexpected. The information can be used to improve models of cyclists’ behaviour, for example, in microscopic simulations, in which cyclists only stop at clearly defined locations. Knowledge about the stopping position and the further crossing of the intersection can help to make simulations more realistic, e.g. when planning or changing new infrastructure. Furthermore, the results of this study will provide further knowledge, which helps developing autonomous driving functions to correctly anticipate cycling behaviour at intersections.

In the 2000s, the application of collaborative robots began to be heard more frequently in various sectors, such as the Manufacturing industry and Healthcare. One of its main advantages is the way of interacting with the user; since it allows to share workspaces more closely without any fatal collisions. Currently, the price of these robots varies with the task type; the more transport load they support and the greater precision in their movements, the more expensive they will be. Nowadays, several works mention the use of collaborative robots to assist in the rehabilitation process of patients. These procedures are expensive since, initially, the purchase of the robot is required, and later the application software to generate the patient's rehabilitation movements. This article presents a methodology to generate the trajectory of the rehabilitation movements of patients with limitations in the upper joints. Engineering application software is used for the academic community (Professors and students). The licenses for operating this software application are free for the academy. In university courses, inverse kinematics projects of collaborative robots can be proposed to generate the rehabilitation trajectories of the patients mentioned above. With this methodology, only the collaborative robot would be required, reducing the initial investment of this type of treatment. When using student software applications, it would be possible to use the other tools that this type of computational tool has, such as 3D printing of parts, some ergonomic analysis of components, or the design of parts or fasteners through the finite element method. To test the methodology developed, a case study was used. It was a final project in the Automation of Manufacturing Systems course of the Tecnologico de Monterrey for students of the Mechatronics Engineering career. In this case study, the generated trajectories stimulate patients' motor skills to draw 2D contours. However, an advantage of the described methodology is that it can be used to generate any 2D or 3D trajectory as required by the patient. The methodology consists of the following stages, 1) 3D modeling of the parts of the collaborative robot that intervenes to generate trajectories, 2) consultation of the reference system of the axes of the collaborative robot, 3) definition of the appropriate movements for the rehabilitation of the patient and 4) programming of the robot. At the beginning of the article, different configurations and applications of collaborative robots are mentioned. Subsequently, the characteristics of the collaborative robot used for this work are described. Next, the methodology implemented for generating trajectories for rehabilitating patients with limitations of the movements of the upper limbs is detailed. Then, the developed methodology is implemented through a case study. Finally, the results, conclusions, and future work are presented.

A novel algorithm structure of direct and inverse kinematics for the motion calculation of articulated robots is presented. These algorithms are based on a 3D rotation matrix, which is known in itself but not established in robotics, as well as the principle of a normalized vector orientation, introduced here. The algorithms can handle any number of rotation and telescop axes, can be fully parameterized according to individual hardware and are also much clearer than the established & classic Denavit-Hartenberg conventions.State of the art According to current research (2022/23), the (published) robot mathematics are still based on the classical Denavit-Hartenberg conventions from 1955, which formalize the calculation of the "Direct" kinematics. For this purpose, they require a separate Local Coordinate System (LCS) for each robot arm in addition to the stationary (world) reference coordinate system. On the one hand, the spatial position of individual links to each other is therefore not directly comparable. On the other hand, the movement of a single robot arm changes the spatial point position of each following link in the kinematic chain accordingly - which is not represented by the LCS.For decades, the DH conventions have been considered state of the art for forward and direct kinematics in science and technology. Standard algorithms for backward and inverse kinematics, however, have not been disclosed to the general public. Companies that manufacture robots consider the computational core of their own algorithms to be a "trade secret". Only the operator level is published.Solution approachIn this paper, a general inverse kinematics trajectory control algorithm for serial robot systems (articulated arm and SCARA) is presented. These algorithms systematically avoid the problem of uncontrolled singularity of inverse kinematics. The combination of similar rotation matrices working consistently in the (world) reference coordinate system as well as the normalized vector orientation – introduced in this work – offer a number of advantages. They not only allow a doubtless parameter assignment without danger of confusion of the two length parameters required for each DH matrices. It becomes possible to specify a generally valid algorithm of inverse kinematics for trajectory control.The solution to be published here does not require any additional location coordinates for each moving robot element, it consistently references one and the same (world) reference coordinate system. Any vector position and its orientation in 3D-Space can be compared directly - an essential prerequisite for the snapping algorithms of the inverse kinematics also disclosed here and the additional option of an integrated traversability of the robot on the gantry system. The consistency of the coordinate system enables perspective representation in imaging processes.The vector input values required for this are directly available – in the (world) reference coordinate system (CRS) – for each point of the kinematic chain.For hardware control, kinematic angular values of the robot arm movement are output via a motion protocol. A specially developed simulation visualizes the moving robot silhouette and the path to be traced in a freely selectable perspective.
