Resumen
Background: It is very important to prepare mothers of toddlers for the period of being parents of toddlers and provide adequate support during the period of being parents of toddlers because some mothers of toddlers experience ignorance about caring for toddlers, especially children aged 1-2 years. The preparation of the toddler's mother includes the readiness of the toddler's mother with the knowledge and skills for becoming a toddler's parent and providing support that can be provided by her husband, family and health workers. The knowledge and the skill regarding caring for children aged 1-2 years are really needed by a toddler's mother so that the toddler's mother has confidence in facing the period of being a toddler's parent and can adapt well so as to reduce the incidence of depression when becoming a toddler's parent. Aim: This study aims to prove the effect of toddler mother classes on increasing knowledge and skills regarding caring for toddlers aged 1-2 years. Method: The design of this research was a quasi-experimental with a pre-test post-test group design without control with a sample of 51 mothers who had children aged 1 – 2 years at Danguran Village, in South Klaten District. Data analysis used statistical tests, namely the Paired-Sample T-Test, to determine the effect of toddler mothers' classes on knowledge and skills regarding caring for toddlers aged 1-2 years. Results: There is an influence of toddler mother classes for children aged 1-2 years on increasing knowledge about caring for children aged 1-2 years with p value = 0.000. There is an influence of toddler mother classes for children aged 1-2 years on increasing skills regarding caring for children aged 1-2 years with a p value = 0.008. Conclusion: There is an influence of toddler mother classes on knowledge and skills regarding caring for toddlers aged 1-2 years.

Resumen
Previous studies have suggested that a toddler stunting is closely related to maternal characteristics. Working mothers, as a group, are vulnerable to having a stunted toddler. The present research aimed to analyze factors related to stunting incidence in toddlers with working mothers in Indonesia. The study sampled 44,071 toddlers with working mothers. The final stage used a multinomial logistic regression test. The study found that working mothers living in rural areas have a higher probability of having stunted or severely stunted toddlers. Maternal age partially affects the incidence of stunted toddlers in Indonesia. Mothers in the ≤19 age group are 1.461 (95% CI 1.140–1.872) times more likely than those in the ≥45 group to have a severely stunted toddler. Those who were never married were 1.433 (95% CI 1.006–2.043) times more likely than those who were divorced/widowed to have a severely stunted toddler. A married mother was 0.734 (95% CI 0.617–0.872) times less likely to have a severely stunted toddler than a divorced/widowed mother. Better education is protective against working mothers having stunted toddlers. Moreover, the present study found that the toddler’s age determined the incidence of stunted toddlers. This study concluded that there are five variables related to stunting incidence in toddlers with working mothers in Indonesia: residence, age, marital status, education, and toddler age.

Resumen
Nutritional status in toddlers is one of the indicators used to describe the quality of toddler health. Toddlers’ nutritional status is interpreted based on some indices, namely weight for age, length/height for age, and weight for length/height Z-score. The nutritional status of toddlers is affected by various factors, both maternal and child factors. Anaemia and chronic energy deficiency during pregnancy affect a toddler’s nutrition status. Birth weight, exclusive breastfeeding, and complementary food may result in a toddler’s nutrition status as well. This study aims to compare the mother’s and toddler’s characteristics based on the nutritional status of the toddler. This was an observational analytical cross-sectional study. All data for the analysis of this paper were obtained from observations of the toddlers, interviews with mothers, and recorded data from KIA book. Toddlers’ weight and length/height were measured when the subject came to Posyandu. Questions about exclusive breastfeeding and complementary food were asked of mothers. Information about anaemia and chronic energy deficiency status was obtained from KIA book. This study used chi-square test to finds evidence that, on 88 subjects, there is no difference in anaemia and chronic energy deficiency during pregnancy, birth weight, exclusive breastfeeding, and complementary food among all nutritional status indices.

Resumen
At the Toddler Posyandu or Posyandu Balita, the health workers and mothers and toddlers are possible to meet, and they may communicate together to monitor toddlers growth and development. This photo essay records our health service communication in monitoring toddler growth and development in the New Normal at Posyandu Hidup Baru Desa Kaong, Kecamatan Upau, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The activities include counseling, height and weight checking for toddles, and immunization. The visits cannot be done virtually, since we must directly provide examination of nutritional status, immunization, counseling and others monitoring to the mothers and toddlers following the standard protocols, and not all mothers of toddlers have the measuring devices. Since the checking and monitoring have been done during the Covid 19 pandemic, posyandu must apply health protocols when communicating and providing health service to the mothers and toddlers. Thus, all participants presented at the posyandu will not get infected with covid 19, and the toddler growth and development can be monitored regularly.

Resumen
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of volubility of toddlers with cochlear implants (CIs) and their parental verbal responsiveness (PVR) in comparison with toddlers with typical hearing (TH), and to explore the relationships between toddlers’ volubility and PVR in each group. Methods: 12 pairs of toddlers with CIs and their parents and 14 pairs of toddlers with TH and their parents participated in this study. This study utilized the Face to Face/Still Face paradigm to examine for the differences of the toddlers’ volubility and PVR between the two groups. Results: Toddlers with CIs produced less vocalizations than toddlers with TH. However, there was not a significant difference in the vocalization time per minute between the two groups. Parents of toddlers with CIs used less verbal responsiveness, which was positively associated with toddlers’ language development, than parents of toddlers with TH. In the CI group, the frequency of the PVR to toddler’s focus of attention was significantly correlated with the frequency and time of toddlers’ vocalization. Conclusion: Toddlers with CIs showed lower levels of volubility than toddlers with TH during the mother-toddler interaction. Parents of toddlers with CIs responded less frequently to their toddler’s communicative intentions and behaviors than did parents of toddlers with TH. These findings suggest that speech-language pathologists should educate the parents of toddlers with CIs to promote high-quality parental responsiveness.

Resumen
Most parents use push walkers to encourage toddlers in gross and fine motor stimulation to develop basic walking skills. Push walkers are a choice for parents other than baby walkers to help toddlers under one year learn to walk. The push walker options for toddlers include static (the shaft moves in place) and dynamic (moving mobile). This study aimed to compare the effect of push walkers between static and dynamic types on motor stimulation of toddlers using biomechanics by measuring hand grip strength and body balance. This research contributes to selecting a push walker for parents to support gross and fine motor development after agreeing on the consideration of the toddler expert panel for the toddler walking task simulation using a push walker involving nine toddlers according to body mass index. Simulation of toddler walking in two experimental sessions using static and dynamic push walkers in measuring hand grip strength using force-sensing resistors and body balance using the Kinect system with Vitruvius software. The grip strength value was tested by paired t-test to determine the significance of the grip strength value. Body balance values were tested by paired t-test to determine the significance of leg compression force and leg moment. Dynamic push walker has a greater value of grip strength than static, and p-value = 0.001 (< 0.005), providing good motor stimulation to toddlers when pushing with more muscular grip strength, allowing the toddler's hand muscles to tighten up. Static push walkers have a greater compression force and foot moment than dynamic and p-value = 0.001 (< 0.005), providing gross motoric stimulation to toddlers while walking in a balanced and stable manner, allowing the toddler's leg muscles to tighten up.

Resumen
Parenting is a parenting style that provides teachings to toddlers that will aim to shape the child's characteristics, provide education that can shape the toddler's personality and provide support in the development process, both growth and development and related to the toddler's skills. In implementing parenting patterns, parents discover the unique behavior of toddlers because the characteristics of children are very different, so parents need to pay attention to their children and provide different parenting patterns for each toddler. Parenting for toddlers will be carried out under the age of 5-6 years, during this time the attention given to the child must be more active where parents pay attention to their development and growth, mental, physical, social development and the interactions carried out every day (Rahmat, 2018). In line with previous research conducted by Sisri Landa Sari, entitled the relationship between parenting patterns and children's social development in Jorong Kampung VII District. South Rao District. Pasaman in 2019, where research results showed that there was a significant relationship between parental parenting patterns and the social development of children under five with a correlation coefficient of 0.350 and a significant p-value of 0.010<0.05, which means that the higher the parenting pattern, the the higher the level of social development of the child, and vice versa, if the toddler receives low parenting, the social development of the toddler will be low (Sari, 2019).Based on the initial survey conducted at the BP Nauli Community Health Center, Siantar Marihat District, Pematangsiantar City, it can be seen that there are two villages and there are toddlers whose language and social development is still lacking, this is because the parents of these toddlers are not often near their children all the time because the parents are older. there is a lot of time to work and farm to earn a living so that the development experienced by children is given less attention and the parents' knowledge about the development of toddlers is lacking. .Keywords: Parenting Patterns, Toddler Development.

Resumen
One way to carry out early detection of toddler growth is through the Healthy Way Card (KMS). The KMS used in Indonesia does not describe the growth behavior of toddlers. The KMS used is the standard from the World Health Organization (WHO). Apart from that, the growth chart for toddlers at each age will show different patterns. This pattern does not form a linear graph or a particular pattern. Therefore, the Nonparametric Regression method was used using a penalized spline estimator which produces a local Indonesian standard KMS which is used to assess the growth of toddlers. Designing KMS with a confidence interval approach to nonparametric regression values using a penalized spline estimator. Data was obtained from the results of the recapitulation of Posyandu in Bojonegoro from January to December 2023, totaling 120 data. The variables used in this research are the toddler's weight (y) as the response variable and the toddler's age (x) as the predictor variable. In nonparametric regression modeling using a penalized spline estimator with several combinations of numbers and knot point locations. Selection of optimal knot points using minimum Generalized Cross Validation (GCV). Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that there are different times of weight change for male toddlers and female toddlers in Bojonegoro. The weight of male toddlers in Bojonegoro has 3 patterns of change, namely the weight of male toddlers increases drastically until the age of 16 months, then increases slowly until the age of 55 months. Then the weight of male toddlers will increase again drastically after the age of 55 months. Meanwhile, the weight of female toddlers in Bojonegoro has three patterns of change, namely the weight of female toddlers increases drastically until the age of 5 months, then increases slowly until the age of 15 months, and again increases drastically after the age of 15 months. This can be caused by physical differences in babies based on gender. To create a standard chart for toddlers' weight growth based on age, it was analyzed by calculating the percentile values consisting of P3, P15, P50, P85, and P97 for each toddler age category.

The toddler healthy kitchen program is an empowerment movement that emerged during the covid 19 pandemic as a solution for monitoring and fulfilling toddler nutrition through posyandu in the Aisyiah Prenggan, Kota Gede, Yogyakarta. This program involves posyandu cadres in the aisyiah community. Due to limited knowledge, funds, and the number of cadres, this activity cannot run optimally. Therefore, it is necessary to create an empowerment program to maximize healthy kitchen activities for toddlers, such as: providing healthy menus with balanced nutrition for infants and toddlers in the Aisyiah branch, Prenggan, Kota Gede. The methods that is excecuted are: doing observation to the community service location, distributing of the food menu, and checking the infants/toddlers’s weight. Community service activities have been carried out by implementing the health protocol by providing healthy menus for 20 infants/toddlers. It can be conclude that there is an increas in the infants/toddlers’s weight about 78.95%

Resumen
The nutritional status of children under five is measured by age, weight and height. The weight and height variables are presented in the form of three anthropometric indicators namely weight by age, height by age, and weight by height. By using these indicators the Cipadu-Kreo health center sometimes determines the nutritional status of children under five years of age. Therefore the simple additive weighting (SAW) method is able to decide the nutritional status of toddlers by adding a toddler's body mass index variable, so as to produce the right and valid decision. Then from 20 samples of toddlers categorizing by age group. Resumen
The prevalence of stunted toddlers in Kupang district is still high, including in the partner area, namely Camplong-II village, Fatuleu sub-district. This village is one of the areas with sufficient water sources and adequate agricultural products, but a few stunted toddlers are still found. Adequate agricultural and livestock production does not guarantee that the nutritional status of toddlers will be good, even though sufficient food is available in the family, if the caregiver does not provide it according to the toddler's needs, the toddler will also experience malnutrition. Data from the Hamlet II Haumeni Posyandu, Camplong-II Village shows that there are 27 stunted toddlers (July 2022). The implementation of preventive promotive services for stunted toddlers or those at risk of stunting is intended as an effort to increase public knowledge about the prevention and handling of stunting. This activity aims to reduce stunting rates by providing counseling, cooking demonstrations, and distributing necessities. The output indicators are increasing knowledge about the prevention and handling of stunting and the use of food ingredients around for food menus. The expected output targets are increasing knowledge and skills of partners to serve nutritious food menus for toddlers and the availability of nutritious food ingredients for toddlers. The availability of protein and vegetable food sources is always needed by stunted toddler partners, so it is expected that two months after harvest, there will be an increase in the weight and height of stunted toddlers. Families who are intervened are expected to be a model for program duplication at other integrated health posts.

Resumen
AbstractObjectiveTo identify home environment factors associated with toddler dietary behaviours using ecological momentary assessment (EMA).DesignHome environment and toddler’s diet were assessed by mothers through EMA (random beeps over ≤8 d and a brief survey). Dietary outcomes were fruit/vegetable consumption, eating episode (‘snack’ v. ‘meal’) and sugar-sweetened beverage (SSB) consumption. Home environment factors included interacting with mother, eating alone/with others, eating in a high chair/chair at the table, watching television and movement/translocation. Multilevel logistic mixed-effects regression models assessed both within- (individual toddlers across time) and between- (toddlers-on-average) subject effects.SubjectsLow-income mother–toddler dyads (n 277).SettingUrban and suburban Maryland, USA.ResultsEMA captured eating/drinking episodes for 249/277 (89·9 %) toddlers (883 eating episodes, 1586 drinking episodes). Toddlers-on-average were more likely (adjusted OR, P value) to eat fruit/vegetables when not moving around (0·43, P=0·043), eat with the television off (0·33, P<0·001) and eat in a high chair/chair (3·38, P<0·001); no within-subject effects were shown. For eating episodes, both toddlers-on-average and individual toddlers were more likely to eat snacks when not in a high chair/chair (0·13, P<0·001 and 0·06, P<0·001, respectively) and when eating alone (0·30, P<0·001 and 0·31, P<0·001, respectively). Also, individual toddlers were more likely to eat snacks when moving around (3·61, P<0·001). Toddlers-on-average were more likely to consume SSB when not in a high chair/chair (0·21, P=0·001), eating alone (0·38, P=0·047) or during a snacking episode (v. a meal: 3·96, P=0·012); no within-subject effects shown.ConclusionsFactors in the home environment are associated with dietary behaviours among toddlers. Understanding the interplay between the home environment and toddler diet can inform future paediatric dietary recommendations.

Resumen
The toddler period is the period after birth up to the age of 59 months. During this period, the immune system in the toddler's body is not yet working optimally, so during this period the toddler is more vulnerable to attacks from various diseases. When a toddler is sick, it is not uncommon for parents to feel confused about what to do or misinterpret the symptoms experienced by the toddler. In conditions like this, the role of a doctor is very necessary. However, in reality, not all parents want to see a doctor, because of the high cost of treatment. Therefore, we need an expert system for diagnosing toddler diseases using the Certainty Factor method to support parents' ease in identifying symptoms and illnesses suffered by toddlers as early as possible. This study used 12 data on toddler illnesses with 51 symptoms. The results of this research show that from the 15 cases that were tested, the precession value was 86.66% and the recall value was 100%. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that this system can be used by users to diagnose illnesses in toddlers. With this system, it is hoped that parents can determine the type of disease experienced by toddlers quickly, precisely, and efficiently.

Resumen
ABSTRACTThe nutritional problem has happened in Indonesia. One of them is toddler malnutrition. Children who are malnourished have a low immune system. Thus it is susceptible to infectious diseases. Factors that can prevent nutritional problems in toddlers include the age of weaning and the toddler's immune system. Breastfeeding until the two-years-old, weaning, and body resistance will also affect the toddler's nutritional status. The research aimed to identify the risk factors of disease history on toddler stunting's nutritional status in Pidie Jaya District. The research's implementation was descriptive-analytic with a cross-sectional research design with a sample size of 34 people—data on weaning patterns and disease history obtained through interviews with questionnaires. Anthropometry measurements obtained the nutritional status data of toddlers. Analysis used chi-square test. Based on the results, most of the 14.7% of toddlers had a history of fever, 52.95% of unwilling toddlers. Toddlers with well nutritional status with weight-for-age index 64.7%, skinny nutritional status with weight-for-height index 55.9%, short nutritional status with height-for-age 52.9%, and regular dietary status with BMI-for age index 73.5%. Conclusion there was an influence of children's history disease in the last three months on nutritional status in the index height-for-age P-value = <0.015 (<0.05) with OR 6.0, but there was no influence of sick history on nutritional status with index weight-for-age, weight-for-age and BMI-for-age (P-value >0.05). It was important for the mother to implement a healthy lifestyle, environmental hygiene, and hygiene of the food history to become better.

The growth and development of toddlers is a very important thing for parents to pay attention to. One thing that needs to be considered is the toddler's weight. Toddler weight is an anthropometric measure used to detect growth rate and nutritional status. Posyandu is a party that plays an active role in handling toddlers starting from checking their weight, giving vaccinations, and regular visits. Posyandu XYZ is one of the Posyandu that has implemented technology in the form of a website. However, the website has not been implemented optimally for posyandu services because it cannot be used to facilitate the implementation of services for toddlers and the elderly. In this research, a website-based application for calculating the ideal weight of toddlers was designed using the Laravel framework and the Waterfall method. This research produces a website-based information system for calculating the ideal weight of toddlers (SIPEBABA) and tested using SUS with a score of 77.90. This application can be used by Posyandu XYZ to maximize the efficiency of their employees' work.

Resumen
Education on providing local food-based snacks can help prevent stunting rates from increasing. Stunting occurs when toddlers do not get enough nutrition so that it affects the child's growth. This activity aims to educate parents about the importance of nutritional intake for toddlers through local food-based snacks. The target of this activity is 20 mothers and toddlers in the Mentor Village who are recorded as experiencing stunting. The method used in this activity is Service Learning (SL). The results show that: 1) Parents already have knowledge about nutritional composition and menu variations, 2) Parents know the type and amount of food that is appropriate for the age of the toddler, 3) Parents understand how to process food so that the nutrients can be absorbed by the toddler's body, 4) Parents know the child's diet and the importance of regular meal times, 5) Parents realize the importance of supervising and accompanying food intake to ensure that toddlers get adequate nutrition.

Resumen
The investigation stimulates toddlers to learn to walk using a baby walker (BW), allowing the toddler's soles to land on the floor surface. This research compares the effectiveness of using BWstandard and Redesign in stimulating toddlers to learn to walk with Kinect Sensor and Force Sensing Resistor (FSR) devices using video-based biomechanics. This research involved 9 toddlers; the minimum age of toddlers was 9 months, body length 70-80cm, and foot length 10-12cm. The biomechanics of toddlers on leg compression are performed via video in real-time using Kinect Sensor with movement analysis developed through Microsoft Visual Studio Software and Vitruvius Software. Measuring foot pressure using FSR is connected to the Arduino IDE system and placed in the prewalker sock via 5 reading points. Statistical tests use paired sample t-tests. Toddler foot compression force using BWstandard (Redesign), heel-strike phase 218.98 N (447.66 N), midstance phase 273.08 N (462.61 N), toe-off phase 181.94 N (371.99 N), and foot pressure 248 N (339 N). The results of the Pair sample t-test showed that there was a difference in use between BWstandard and Redesign. It was concluded that stimulation of toddlers learning to walk was achieved more effectively using BWredesign and was more recommended.

AbstractInfant-parent psychotherapy in the second year of life presents specific challenges related to the child's developmental characteristics. The concept of projective identification is discussed as a mechanism for understanding the toddler's specific contribution to attachment disorders with the parent. A versatile clinical format is recommended including joint parent-child sessions, individual work with the toddler and the parents, and the use of therapeutic modes of communication specifically geared to the toddler's needs (“toddlerese”). Clinical examples and research applications are given to illustrate these points.

Resumen
The growth and development of children under five (toddlers) affect their health conditions. Each region uniquely identifies the main factors influencing the toddler's health condition. The status of toddlers is generally categorized into two classes, namely normal and abnormal, so it is often found that the condition of toddler status is in the form of multi-response variables. Combining the two binary classes' response variables will form a multiclass response variable requiring different model development techniques and performance measurements. This study aims to determine the main factors that affect toddlers' health conditions in Malang, Indonesia, build multiclass logistic regression and decision tree classification models, and measure the model's performance. The Chi-square test selected predictor features as the input of multiclass logistic regression and decision tree models. From the feature selection, four main factors influence the status of toddlers' health conditions in Malang: the mother's history of diabetes before pregnancy, the father's blood pressure, psychological condition, and drinking water quality. The decision tree model performs better than the logistic regression model on the various performance measures used.

Resumen
The present study examined the association between the parent-grandmother relationship, the parenting of toddlers, and toddlers' anger. Parent-grandmother relations were assessed when the parents were adolescents. Parent-toddler relations were examined when the toddlers were two years of age The sample consists of 185 2-yr.-old toddlers, one of the parents of each toddler, and the corresponding grandmother of each toddler. The findings support our hypothesis that there would be an indirect effect of the grandmothers' personalities and child-rearing practices on their grandchildren through the influence of the grandmothers on the parents. The influence of both the grandmothers' and the parents' smoking behaviors on the toddlers' anger was mediated by their child-rearing practices. The significance of the findings from a multigenerational study are discussed with reference to incorporating them into prevention programs. The findings are consistent with the notion of the intergenerational transmission of risk factors—from grandparents to parents to toddlers.
