Resumen
The aim of this research is to examine the social phobia status of children who are trained three days a week in swimming activity in summer sport activities. For some children, the swimming learning process can be a source of stress in itself, sometimes even at the level of social phobia. There are thoughts and researches in the directions that the level of social phobia is minimized, especially social, cultural, reconstructive and sport activities. In this context, it is thought that knowing to what extent the swimming activity affects social phobia status will be important by families, educational institutions and sports scientists besides contributing to the literature. In quantitative research type, single group pre-test / post-test model, which is one of the weak experimental patterns, was applied with simple random sampling method. This study constitutes the universe of children between 6 and 14 years of age who enroll in the swimming activities in 8 different neighborhoods in Kahramanmaraş, where they are given free training for two months within the scope of 2017 summer sports activities. In the study, in the analysis of the data obtained as a result of the answers given to the survey statements consisting of the expressions of the Çapa Scale of Social Phobia for Children and Adolescents, percentage and frequency analyzes were included for demographic information. Binary comparisons in Pretest and Posttest Social Phobia scores were analyzed with Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, Mann-Whitney U Test for variables in variables and Kruskal Wallis Test in multiple comparisons. In this study, in which the Social Phobia (SP) status of children participating in swimming activities was investigated, there was no statistically significant difference between the Pretest and Posttest total scores, and there was no significant difference in age, residence and family monthly income levels, although there was a significant difference in gender within the group.

Resumen
Cutaneous warts are common in children worldwide, although the prevalence figures are conflicting. There are few publications on that issue, particularly in rural Egypt. The present cross-sectional study aimed to assess the prevalence of warts of hands in rural primary school children and to examine some risk factors associated with warts in these children. The study examined 1833 children from 15 rural primary schools in Dakahlia governorate, Egypt, for the presence of warts. Data about sociodemographic, lifestyle, and environmental factors were collected. Prevalence of warts was estimated. Appropriate statistical analyses including multivariate logistic regression were done. The prevalence of warts of hands in the studied children was 2.3% (1.3–3.3%) with no significant sex difference. The risk of warts increased significantly in children reported swimming in Nile channels (adjusted odds ratio (OR) = 5.6; 95% confidence interval (CI) = 2.9–10.6) and child labor (adjusted OR = 4.5; 95% CI = 2.3–8.8). A ninety percent risk reduction was observed in children with educated parents. The study findings demonstrated a significant increase in the risk of warts among rural children reported swimming in Nile channels and child labor. Parents’ education, on the other hand, was found to play an important role in risk reduction.

Resumen
Aim. The purpose of this study is: (a) to examine how swimming coaches perceive their communication skills and preferences; (b) to better understand the behaviour of coach-athlete communication during practice sessions; (c) to explore similarities and differences between coaches’ declared and actual communication behaviour. Basic procedures. To accomplish this purpose, 10 swimming coaches (6 males, 4 females; mage=31 years) were invited to take part in the two-part study. First, the participants were asked to answer 6 questions about their communicational behaviours towards children during typical swimming practices. Then, during a real swimming session, both verbal and non-verbal communication was recorded (content of the message, recipient of the message, body posture, gestures, proxemics, vocal aspects). Results. The obtained results show that the coaches used six of communication behaviours. The results revealed a discrepancy between the coaches’ declared and observed communication preferences. The data analysis shows that the coaches provided both feedback (40.7%) and feedforward (59. 3%) information. In the research, it is shown that swimming teachers used non-verbal messages more often (63%) than verbal ones. Conclusions. In the teaching process, it is important that the trainer/coach provides not only information regarding the tasks to be performed but also information improving the atmosphere and also the quality of the exercises performed.

Resumen
We present the analysis of sports motor skills development among children with musculoskeletal system disorders by the means of adaptive swimming. The developed methods of sports training for children with musculoskeletal system lesion in adaptive swimming at the initial stage was designed for three years. All children were students of the adaptive swimming school. The structure and duration of classes, the content of each part of the class on land and in water are presented. Features of the preparation and organization of classes are described. It was noted that when mastering sports swimming methods, back crawl is easier for children with musculoskeletal system lesion, since the breathing process proceeds naturally, and it is not necessary to lower the face into the water, it is easier for children to coordinate movements with breathing. The obtained results show the effectiveness of the developed program of sports training for the initial stage of children with musculoskeletal system lesion by adaptive swimming, both for learning swimming techniques and for correcting the deficiencies in physical, psychomotor development and social adaptation of children.

Resumen
The ratification of the Lanzarote Convention by Russia in 2013 entails several issues that cannot be resolved without the help of social-humanitarian sciences. Information from sociology, psychology, and jurisprudence has been used to create a concept for the empirical study of the domestic violence against children - to improve the implementation of the Convention in Russia. The concept considers two aspects of the problem - social and social-cultural. The article presents the Russian experience of how the provisions of the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse are implemented. The authors analyze statistical data on the number of families in which a sexually abused child is brought up; the number of abortions and childbirths by minors; the number of minors in educational colonies; the work of the childrens helpline; the number of mediation services; the number of social service organizations for families and children; the number of professionals working with children in programs aimed at preventing and protecting children from sexual exploitation and abuse; the number of organizations providing psychological-pedagogical and medical-social assistance; the number of specialized multifunctional centers providing assistance to families and child victims of sexual abuse; the number of specialized green rooms for investigating crimes related to minors; the number of specialists accompanying minors who have come into conflict with the law at all stages of the investigation and court proceedings; the number of professionals trained under the Child Sexual Violence Protection Program and now assisting families and child victims of violence. The article will be useful for readers who study the implementation of the Lanzarote Convention and the issues of child sexual abuse and domestic violence.

Resumen
This study examined developmental differences in motives for participating in competitive swimming across the lifespan. Six age groupings were chosen based on underlying cognitive criteria identified in the literature: younger and older children, high school/college age, and young, middle, and older adults. Swimmers from YMCAs (N= 100) completed the Participation Motivation Questionnaire modified by D. Gould, Feltz, and Weiss (1985). An exploratory factor analysis identified seven factors: characteristics of competitive swimming, health/fitness, social status, affiliation, energy release, significant others, and fan. A MANOVA on the factor scores revealed a significant age group main effect. Follow-up analyses indicated that characteristics of competitive swimming was rated significantly lower by the older adults while social status was rated significantly higher by older children and high school/college-age swimmers. Significant others was rated significantly higher by children, and fen was rated most important by younger children and older adults. Finally, health/fitness motives were rated highest by young and middle adults and lowest by older children and older adults. Implications of the findings for a cognitive-developmental approach to participation motivation are discussed.

Resumen
The prevalence rate of large families in Russia has distinct regional character. So, a number of the subjects referred to the North Caucasus Federal Okrug are characterized by traditionally high level of a possession of many children. Such families distinguish from other categories of families on all socio-economic indices of the life quality and differ in both the maximum risk and degree ofpoverty. The share of the families having three and more children among needy households with children for the last decade has increased. Questions in the sphere of legislative and practical providing the rights and interests of members of large families which are regarded as insufficiently effective are discussed. Small number of studies devoted to the state of health, the organization of medical care and medico-social escort of children from large families was noted. There were sufficiently studied psychological and pedagogical aspects of this problem. Children of various age groups from large families were established to retard on all quantitative and qualitative indices of the physical development, differ in lower level of health and bigger prevalence of disability. There was substantiated the need for the elaboration of system of medico-social escort of the children who are brought up in large families as a real opportunity in modern conditions to influence on the shaping of health and its level for this category of the children’s population of Russia.

Resumen
Swimming and aquatic activity are fields in which gendered, embodied identities are brought to the fore, and the co-presence of other bodies can have a significant impact upon lived experiences. To date, however, there has been little research on sport and physical cultures that investigates how meanings associated with space impact upon women’s embodied experiences of participating in swimming, specifically in the presence of their young children. Using semi-structured interviews and non-participant observations, this qualitative study employed a Foucauldian-feminist framework to explore self-perceptions and embodied experiences of aquatic activity amongst 20 women, who were swimming with children aged under four. Results highlight that through ‘felt’ maternal responsibilities, the co-presence of babies’ and children’s bodies shifted women’s intentionality away from the self towards their child. Mothers’ embodied experiences were grounded in perceptions of space-specific ‘maternal instincts’ and focused upon disciplining their children’s bodies in the lived-space of the swimming pool. Key findings cohere around mothers’ felt concerns about hygiene, water temperature and safety, and elements of intercorporeality and ‘somatic empathy’.

Resumen
Non-payment of alimony by parents for their children is a serious problem in Poland, which has negative social and economic consequences. It results in the inability to satisfy the necessary needs for their proper development and thus deprives them of prospects and a chance for a dignified life. This article begins by explaining the concept of non-alimony and presenting the scale of the phenomenon to gain awareness of the size of this social problem. In the following part, an analysis was carried out on the social aspects of non-alimony. This issue was described from the point of view of the situation of mothers who were forced to take over the entire burden of supporting their children, without the support of former partners. The consequences of the economic abandonment of children by one of the parents are also presented. The social aspect has also been discussed through the prism of the social campaigns conducted over the last few years to shape the correct attitudes of parents. Due to the fact that in Poland the phenomenon of non-alimony is considered primarily in the legal context, the subsequent part of the article presents a synthetic analysis in this respect. It focuses on the changes that the Polish legislator has introduced into the domestic legal system over the last 3 years. The discussion of this issue began with the offence of non-alimony regulated in Article 209 of the Penal Code, due to its amendment in 2017. It was supposed to become an effective tool to mobilise obliged parents to fulfil their obligation to support their children. Further amendments to the legislation were also reviewed in order to further improve the effectiveness of the enforcement of maintenance support.

Resumen
This article discusses the theoretical content of the formation of social competence of preschool children. The role of the preschool organization in creating all conditions for the child to realize their personal capabilities, to help identify and reveal their individuality is determined. In pre-school organizations, promoting the formation of a unique personality in the process of education and upbringing, special attention is paid to creating conditions for the adaptation of each child to the social environment and the organization of education. As a result of the theoretical analysis of the concept of "social competence",the author notes that an important task of preschool education is to develop a new meaningful methodologythat allows the child to actively integrate and adapt in the social environment and become a socially competent person in the future

Resumen
One of the main markers of socially unfavorable pregnancy is anthropometric indicators of newborns. They reflect not only the narrow medical problems of complicated gestation but also social problems in general, the quality and access to the medical care. The objective: to determine the risk factors for fetal macrosomia in pregnancy with high levels of psychosocial stress. Materials and methods. The course of pregnancy and childbirth, demographic and medical risk factors for a fetal macrosomia were analyzed in 140 pregnant women with different levels of psychosocial stress. They were divided into 2 groups: 1 group (main) – 56 women-forced migrants from Luhansk and Donetsk regions, 2 group – 84 women with low and moderate level stress according to the questionnaires and psychological tests (L. Reeder, Spielberg–Khanin scale). Results. Gestational diabetes was the main reason for the birth of heavy children in both groups. Women–forced migrants had late manifestation of impaired tolerance to carbohydrates and a higher frequency of pathological weight gain. Male neonates are at risk for macrosomia. Childbirth in women with macrosomia is accompanied by a high frequency of complications and abnormal births. Conclusions. The frequency of births of macrosomic children in women - forced migrants is higher than in women at low risk of psychosocial stress. Risk factors in this group of pregnants include: the level of stress and behavioral responses to stress, impaired carbohydrate tolerance due to gestational diabetes, abnormal weight gain due to malnutrition and male sex of the fetus. Keywords: macrosomia, pregnancy, childbirth, women–forced migrants psychosocial stress, gestational diabetes, weight gain.

Resumen
This study tests the hypothesis that rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) compensate for the metabolic cost of dietary Cu exposure by reducing swimming activity at particular times during the diel cycle. Fish were exposed to excess dietary Cu for three months (726 mg Cu·kg–1 dry weight) and simultaneously oxygen consumption (MO2) and spontaneous swimming activity were measured. Rhythmicity in swimming activity was examined by videorecording fish behaviours for 48 h. Standard metabolic rate estimates (RS) of 7.2 and 8.7 mmol O2·kg–1·h–1 (15°C) were measured for control and Cu-exposed fish, respectively. MO2 was higher in Cu-exposed fish at any chosen speed compared with control Cu-exposed trout, which decreased activity (mean speed) by at least 75%, spent more time at lower speeds, and lost circadian periodicity in these parameters compared with controls. Mean growth rates were normal, although Cu-exposed fish showed a narrower range of body weights and fewer mortalities than control groups, suggesting a suppression in social behaviour in Cu-exposed fish. Overall, the increased metabolic cost of swimming in Cu-exposed fish was fully compensated by a reduction in activity, particularly at night and dawn. However, this behavioural strategy suggests that spatial and temporal aspects of ecologically important social behaviours may be compromised in Cu-exposed fish.

Resumen
This article is devoted to the study of the socio-psychological aspects of the socialization of children with speech disorders. Speech defects in children are considered as a social problem that hinders their social development, complicating adaptation in society. This phenomenon is due to the fact that a violation in the speech sphere contributes to the emergence of other abnormalities, such as motor, emotional-volitional, personal, disorders in the cognitive and motivational spheres, underdevelopment of the formation of differentiation of processes, as well as limitations of verbal-logical thinking. It is shown that the insufficient number of social service institutions for the adaptation of children with speech disorders in the system of social work is a negative institutional factor.

Resumen
According to the WHO, social responsiveness is associated with non-medical indices of health care system functioning. The integral index of responsiveness of health care system at providing specialized medical care to children in rural areas of the region was applied for assessing the degree of concordance of regional health care system to expectations of population. The most positive appraisals of respondents were given to indices of social responsiveness determined by professionalism of the medical personnel of the Oblast children hospital. The survey results demonstrated that main problem of respondents is transport accessibility of specialized medical care for children in rural areas of the region.

BACKGROUND: Asthma is the most prevalent chronic disease in the pediatric age group. The disease affects different aspects of the children's lives, such as physical, emotional, social and educational aspects. Thus, more focus has been on the quality of life in these patients rather than the duration of their illness in recent years.AIM: This study examined the different aspects of quality of life in asthmatic children for the first time in this geographic area.METHODS: The study was cross-sectional conducted in 2015-2016. The asthmatic group was 100 patients aged 8 to 12 admitted to the Asthma and Allergy Clinic of Ghaem Hospital (as) in Mashhad with the control group composed of 100 healthy children of the same age and gender. The standard questionnaire pedsQLTM was used for comparing the quality of life of children in the two groups. Statistical analysis was SPSS23 with P-value less than 0.05, which was statistically significant.RESULTS: In each group, 58 patients were boys, and 42 were girls. In a comparison of the quality of life of children, the asthma group with a mean total score of Peds QL 20.99 ± 12.54 compared to the healthy children with a mean total score of Peds QL of 8.8 ± 5.41 had a lower quality of life (P < 0.001). Moreover, regarding various aspects of quality of life asthma group had a lower quality of life in physical performance, emotional performance and performance in school (P < 0.001). Nonetheless, there was no significant difference between the two groups considering social function (P = 0.267). Examining the relationship between Peds QL score of patients with asthma with various variables was indicative of the fact that Peds QL scores were significantly correlated with the gender of the patients, showing better quality of life in the girls (P = 0.001).CONCLUSION: The results indicated that children with asthma have a significantly lower quality of life compared with healthy children of the same age. Also, in examining the different aspects of quality of life, these children had a lower quality of life in physical performance, emotional performance, and performance at school, and were at the level as that of healthy children only in social performance.

Resumen
Social environment which the child comes from determines him in many spheres, including leisure activities. In the contribution we stressed on learning if school children differentiate in leisure time spending with regard on family size, parents´ employment (eventually their grant parents) and family income. Basic sample was created by 618 respondents – children parents with average age 39.9 years. Data analyse showed us that significant difference was confirmed in case of family income. This forms the prerequisite for higher volume of children movement activities. Rather surprising was result in our research that children of employed parents engage in leisure activities less than the number of unemployed parents. Also the fact that family size is not an aspect that would make children attending elementary and secondary school differentiate when choosing leisure time activities.

Resumen
Bronchial asthma is the most common chronic disease in children affecting 30% of the child population. The purpose of this review was to analyze and summarize the works of foreign and Russian authors who evaluated the impact of mental disorders on the course of asthma in children. The article presents the definition of asthma as a psychosomatic disease and relevance of the study against this background. The authors adduce the results of research studies which allow us to estimate the interaction between the degree of anxiety, accentuation of the nature, severity of asthma, and the duration of the disease. The existing publications demonstrate that the researchers' opinions are polarized regarding the cause-and-effect relationship between psychological disorders and controlled asthma. The authors came to a conclusion that early detection of psychopathological symptoms and appropriate psychotherapeutic administration would improve the efficacy of treatment in children with bronchial asthma and the social adaptation, adjust the system of family relations, and have a positive effect on the course of the disease.
