Texto completoThe innovation of the Tourist System through the integration with the agricultural sector, thanks to the valorisation and fruition of the agro-eco-landscapes (a new typology of landscape the result of the mix of natural and anthropogenic resources of that specific territory) is the focus of the research. The discovery of the paradigms that have originated many actual models of touristic – seaside in particular - and agricultural developments has allowed the research to deconstruct them, in order to propose a “new integrated coast-hinterland tourist system” based on policies, structures and tools aimed at an integrated sustainability. The creation of an integrated system and, therefore, the increase of the resources and of those subjects involved in the touristic sector, inevitably leads to socio-environmental conflicts that must be managed through participatory and inclusive decision-making processes. The choice of case studies (Province of Venice and Camargue) meets the need, on the one hand, to anchor the landscape neologism to an application case and, on the other, to suggest a concrete example of an integrated and partecipatory territorial management.

Texto completoThis work is a theoretical and methodological analysis of the public action territorialisation in the cultural field. We want to determine to which extent the strategic management of a territorial events portfolio takes part in the reinforcement of territorial proximity, and, by extension, in the sustainable attractiveness of this territory. First, we recall the territorial issues of a strategic management thought in the way of territorial proximity. One of the central concepts mobilized in this reflection is the territorial strategic management. It is understood as the new paradigm of the local public action. The “dynamics of proximity” approach is then proposed as an analytic framework of the local governance system. The activation of the potentials of proximity make a strengthening of territorial attractiveness possible (Chapter 1). Moreover, the cultural action can take many forms. However, we have seen a shift in French cultural policy. Formerly based on the development of equipment used to cover the territory and promote the democratization of culture, it is now subject to a phenomenon of “festivalization”. If the event is seen as a modern form of cultural action, the possible running out of steam as the development of a real competition on the “event destinations” marketplace invite us to place the analysis of the cultural event in a functional and dynamic approach of the territorial events portfolio. The aim is thus to consider the various functions assigned to the different events under a territorial strategic logic (Chapter 2)

Texto completoSustainable development calls for a technical and a cultural transition of the contemporary industrial society. How some collective actions, called industrial ecology projects, can make evolve in the same time conventional social concepts and current production and consumption practices? This problem is addressed from the perspective of the study of logics of collective actions, which means from the perspective of institutionalized motives and norms used as references in the social coordination process. To answer to this problem, we conducted a “dialogical” inquiry, in contact with practitioners (professionals) of the ecological building industry. The first part of the thesis is about the social concept of the industrial policy and the territorial policy of the French state. We show what are the transformation dynamics of the logics of action in these two areas. In a second part, the inquiry focusses on the study of "innovative" projects, which goal is to reorganize the building industry. We seek to understand how this sort of collective action can stimulate the emergence of new innovative practices, highlighted from both an industrial and an ecological point of view, while organizing in the same time dedicated local communities. We propose a model of the articulation between the industrial and the territorial logics of action as well as a model of the discursive governance of innovative projects

Texto completoThis research started by the texts Our Common Future and Yokohama Strategy (1994), Hyogo Framework for Action - Building the Resilience of Nations and Communities to Disasters (HFA-2005) e Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR-2015). In particular faces the SFDRR priorities: 1) Understanding disaster risk; 2) Strengthening disaster risk governance to manage disaster risk: 3) Investing in disaster risk reduction for resilience; 4) Enhancing disaster preparedness for effective response and to “Build Back Better” in recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction. This text answers to following questions: What is it the resilience? Is it a product or a tool of DRR? Is it possible to realize a resilient model of a system (community-territorial-environment)? Is it possible to measure the resilience with specific indexes? Could be possible to obtain a Unit of Measure for territorial resilience, to understanding of an emergency context? Starting from the questions it was developed a main hypothesis: “Indexing the keys characteristics of a territorial system: the capacity to reduce a disaster impact, to preserve the integrity, and to adapt to new conditions, helps to identify the emergency threshold of the system” The hypothesis as led to compared the concept of Energy of Event and Resources of a System (actions, activities, resources) to contrast an extreme event. The field of study was result complex, with qualitative/quantitative data. Thus, it was chosen a Multi Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) approach, specially an Analytics Hierarchy Process (AHP). Thanks to AHP method it was introduced, in this work, the Disaster Resilience Threshold Index (DRTi), an evolution of the risk formula (Varnes, 1984). The DRTi is composed by the Territorial Critics Index (TCi) to measure the "dimension" of an Event, and Territorial Coping Capacity Index (TCCi) to measure the resources of a system. Some different composition of TCi and TCCi permit to quantify: the Territorial Emergency Index (TEi), the Territorial Disaster Index (TDi) and the Territorial Index of Catastrophe (TIC). Every of these measure the distance of the system from the equilibrium threshold, beyond which we will have a specific scenario. In this study, the formula and processes were tested a local level in a hydro-geological scenario. As results, we obtained: 1) thresholds to understand the territory; 2)knowledge about the breaks points of the system; 3) weighted indexes to understand where is better to invest resources; 4) a methodology to realize a list of priority actions.
