Resumen
This study aims to describe category shift and meaning shift in movie’s subtitle Downfall (Der Untergang) directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel from German to Indonesian. The method used this study is contrastive qualitative. The sources of this study data are words, phrases, clauses, and sentences in Downfall (Der Untergang) movie’s from German into Indonesian subtitles. The data in this study are shifts, either category shift or meaning shift in Downfall (Der Untergang)from German and Indonesian subtitles. Methods used of acquiring data are listening methods with uninvolved conversation observation technique and taking note technique. The data are analyzed using distributional method and identity method simultaneously. While using distributional method, segmenting immediate constituents technique are used. In identity method, dividing key factors technique are used followed with the same interrelational method and the different interrelational method. The results of the study show that there are category shifts, namely 20 level shifts, 87 structure shifts, 23 class shifts, 132 unit shifts, 26 intra-system shifts, and meaning shift, namely 20 meaning shifts from generic to specific and vice-versa, and 22 meaning shifts from cultural point of view. In general, category shifts happened because there are structure, grammar, and system differences between source language and target language, while meaning shifts happened because of the difference of cultural point of view.

Resumen
This study aims to examine the existence of language shifts through shifts in speaking skills due to interactions between Indonesian, regional languages, and foreign languages. The data collection technique used is the recording technique as the main technique, while the interview and direct observation techniques are additional techniques. The respondents of this study were 34 students of the Indonesian language study program and the foreign language study program. Speech data were analyzed with three aspects of oral language skills, namely (2) speech tempo (prosody or intonation), (2) fluency, and (3) lexical (Itkonen, 2010:15-17). The results of the analysis show that there has been a shift in speaking skills from regional languages to Indonesian for all groups of respondents. Even students who are engaged in foreign languages are on average more fluent in foreign languages than in regional languages. These are indicators of a shift in regional languages to Indonesian and a shift in regional languages to foreign languages among this group of students. It can be formulated that the lower the speaking skill of a language is mastered by the speaker, the more vulnerable the language is to be shifted by a language that is more capable of being mastered by the speaker.

Resumen
The concept of Multi-Scale Transform (MST) based image de-noising methods is incorporated in this paper. The shortcomings of Fourier transform based methods have been improved using multi-scale transform, which help in providing the local information of non-stationary image at different scales which is indispensable for de-noising. Multi-scale transform based image de-noising methods comprises of Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT), and Stationary Wavelet Transform (SWT). Both DWT and SWT techniques are incorporated for the de-noising of standard images. Further, the performance comparison has been noted by using well defined metrics, such as, Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Computation Time (CT). The result shows that SWT technique gives better performance as compared to DWT based de-noising technique in terms of both analytical and visual evaluation.

Resumen
This study aims at identifying the types of category shifts and explaining their occurrence in the translation of complex noun phrases from English into Indonesian in The Valley of Fear Novel. The data were collected using observation method which was supported by implementing note taking technique in order to find out, identify, and classify the data. The data were analyzed by applying the qualitative descriptive method. The theory applied in this study is the theory of translation proposed by Catford (1965) to identify the types of category shifts found and to explain their occurrence. The result shows that all types of category shifts proposed by Catford (1965) such as structure shift, class shift, intra-system shift, and unit shift are found in the translation. Structure shift occurs in the highest frequency of 339 cases or about 66,86% out of total 507 cases, class shift occurs 75 cases or 14,79 % out of total 507 cases, and intra-system shift occurs 48 cases or 9,46 % out of total 507 cases, and unit shift occurs 45 cases or 8,87 % out of total 507 cases. The occurrence of category shift is caused by the different characteristics of source language and target language.

Resumen
We show that the technique of Stark-chirped rapid adiabatic passage (SCRAP), can be implemented in tripod quantum systems. We propose a scheme for coherent superposition among two ground states via Stark-shiftchirped rapid adiabatic passage technique in a tripod system. Tripod-SCRAP uses four laser pulses: an intense far-off-resonance Stark laser pulse modifies the transition frequency between the states by Stark shifting their energies and three nearly resonant pump, Stokes, and control laser pulses that fractionally transfer the population between the ground states via adiabatic passage. In our scheme, the pulse duration of the pump pulse must be larger than the pulse duration of the Stokes and control pulses, although with a smaller amplitude, and the atom encounters with the pump, Stokes, control, and Stark laser pulses with counterintuitive order (Stokes pulse arrives before the rest of the pulses). This technique can be applied to one-photon as well as multiphoton transitions and it is not necessary to vanish the pulses (pump and Stokes) simultaneously and it is a powerful alternative tool for f-STIRAP and tripod-STIRAP techniques at least when inhomogeneous broadenings are included. inhomogeneous broadening. This technique is robust against moderate variations in the intensities of the laser pulses,in detunings, and in delays between the pulses.

Resumen
AbstractIn this contribution, we presented approaches for the determination of tokamak plasma column shift based on multipole moments and magnetic techniques. First, we presented analytical details for using this technique. Then, the principle of different models based on this technique for the design and fabrication of six coils will be presented: four modified Rogowski coils (two cosine coils and two sine coils) and two saddle coils (saddle sine coil and saddle cosine coil). Also, to compare the results, the flux loops technique is used. Because of continuous measurements of magnetic field distribution around the tokamak plasma using multipole coils, this technique gives us more reliable information about the plasma current displacement. Moreover, we deduced the plasma current and plasma boundary centers shift using the two semi-empirical techniques in the IR-T1 tokamak. First, the plasma current center is calculated from the vertical field coil characteristics. The calculation is made focusing on the vertical field coil current and voltage changes due to a horizontal displacement of the plasma column. Also, the plasma boundary center shift was measured from the external magnetic coils. The results from these two techniques are compared and discussed.

Resumen
Shifts in translation of English noun phrases into Indonesian with reference to a short story A Scandal in Bohemia is a study of how to transfer a message, information from one to another language to overcome its language barrier. Due to the systematical difference of every language, the occurrence of the translation shift is unavoidable in order to make the translation result natural. Translation shift and meaning equivalent are two core elements in translation that are correlated and inseparable, this study is conducted to find out the types of translation shifts and their implication towards the meaning equivalents found in the short story “A Scandal in Bohemia”. The data was taken from a short story entitled “A Scandal of Bohemia” using documentation and note-taking technique. In addition, the data was analyzed qualitatively and comparatively. It was classified based on the types of shifts and the analysis of its implication towards the meaning equivalent under the theory of Translation Shift proposed by Catford (1965) about translation shift and Theory of Meaning-Based Translation proposed by Larson (1998).This study revealed that the occurrence of the translation shift can be classified into four types of shift namely structure shift, class shift, unit shift and intra-system shift in which all of them belong to the category shift. None of the data shown level shift occurrence. This study also revelaed that as what Catford (1965) has stated in his theory that the most frequent shift is the structure shift, meanwhile the least one is the class shift. Multiple shifts are also occurred in some of the NPs, there are a few pairs namely unit and class shifts, class and intra-system shifts, unit and intra-system shifts and structure and intra-system shifts are occurred. Furthermore the implication of translation shift towards the meaning equivalent is also the core aspect in this study; it is shown that the occurrence of the shift is obligatory in order to make an equivalent and natural translation which the meaning that is carried from the SL to the TL is held constant and relevant to the feature of substance.

Resumen
Interferometric methods of optical sensing based on the phase shift of the Bloch surface waves (BSWs) and guided waves (GWs) supported by a one-dimensional photonic crystal are presented. The photonic crystal, composed of six SiO2/TiO2 bilayers with a termination layer of TiO2, is employed in the Kretschmann configuration. Under resonance condition, an abrupt phase change is revealed, and the corresponding phase shift is measured by interferometric techniques applied in both the spectral and spatial domains. The spectral interferometric technique employing a birefringent quartz crystal is used to obtain interference of projections of p- and s-polarized light waves reflected from the photonic crystal. The phase shifts are retrieved by processing the spectral interferograms recorded for various values of relative humidity (RH) of air, giving the sensitivity to the RH as high as 0.029 rad/%RH and 0.012 rad/%RH for the BSW and GW, respectively. The spatial interferometric technique employs a Wollaston prism and an analyzer to generate an interference pattern, which is processed to retrieve the phase difference, and results are in good agreement with those obtained by sensing the phase shift in the spectral domain. In addition, from the derivative of the spectral phase shifts, the peak positions are obtained, and their changes with the RH give the sensitivities of 0.094 nm/%RH and 0.061 nm/%RH for the BSW and GW, respectively. These experimental results demonstrate an efficient optical sensing with a lot of applications in various research areas.

Resumen
Detection of cancer at early stages has become a top priority in the field of medical science. The existing detection methods require lot of routine tests to confirm that the sample is positive with cancer as there are chances of test results being pseudo- positive. This early stage detection of cancer will proved to be a godsend for those who are the victims of monstrous disease cancer. In this paper, we put forward a new approach for the detection of cancer at early stages by designing a 2-dimensional SPR based sensor for detailed spectral analysis of “Leukaemia” without using any biomarkers. As dielectric properties for cancer cells deviate from the normal cell, they can be identified and detected by implementing photonic approach. In the present work, design & simulations are done using FDTD. The shifts in the output waveforms and wavelengths have been recorded for a normal blood cell and cancerous cell respectively. It is observed from simulation that even for minute change in the RI of the bio analyte of interest and from which it is observed that there is a remarkable shift in the resonant wavelengths thus witnessing the ultra sensitivity of the design. Simulations are done using R-Soft CAD tool. The peak values and wavelength shift differences for normal cells and forleukaemia, the different cell components lymphocyte , nucleus, cytoplasm and the intensity shifts are recorded in order to find the relative sensitivity of the device. The design variation were made by varying sensing layer thickness and extinction coefficient Finally comparison was made between that of normal and abnormal cells to show the wavelength shift differences so that the signature graphs for each cell were obtained in order to determine the intensity of the disease and it depends on the shift in the wavelength. The wavelength shift of early stage leukaemia for cytoplasm, nucleus and lymphocyte are ranging from 2000-250nm. Sensitivity and the quality factor of the sensor have been calculated for the proposed design, the sensitivity achieved is 343nm/RIU and the quality factor is 1800.

Resumen
SUMMARYThis paper presents a new cooperative object transportation technique using parallel line formation with a circular shift. Typical areas of research in relation to object transportation are grasping, pushing, and caging techniques, but these require precise grasping behaviors, iterative motion correction according to the object pose, and the real-time acquisition of the object shape, respectively. In this paper, the proposed technique does not need to consider the shape or the pose of objects, and equipped tools are not necessary for object transportation because objects are transported by pushing behavior only. Multiple robots create parallel line formation using a virtual electric dipole field and then push multiple objects into the formation. This parallel line is extended to the goal using cyclic motion by the robots and the objects are transported to the goal by pushing behavior. The above processes are decentralized and activated based on the finite state machine of each robot. Simulations and practical experiments are presented to verify the proposed technique.

Resumen
With the development of digital integrate circuit system which is based on Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA), the request on FPGA test technique is becoming higher and higher. The Boundary Scan Technique and Built-In Self-Test (BIST) technique appear in succession, however, these techniques dont implement Configurable Logic Block (CLB) fault diagnose and fault orientation. Arrays-based technique was advanced, which also have some problems about masking of faults and too many reconfiguration times. According to these problems, A Novel Shift Register-based technique for Fault Orientation of FPGA Configurable Logic Blocks was advanced. The paper analyses the design theory about core circuit configure, and has important significance impact on Fault Orientation of FPGA Configurable Logic Blocks.

Resumen
A new depth migration method derived in the space‐frequency domain is based on a generalized phase‐shift method for the downward continuation of surface data. For a laterally variable velocity structure, the Fourier spatial components are no longer eigenvectors of the wave equation, and therefore a rigorous application of the phase‐shift method would seem to require finding the eigenvectors by a matrix diagonalization at every depth step. However, a recently derived expansion technique enables phase‐shift accuracy to be obtained without resorting to a costly matrix diagonalization. The new technique is applied to the migration of zero‐offset time sections. As with the laterally uniform velocity case, the evanescent components of the solution need to be isolated and eliminated, in this case by the application of a spatially variant high‐cut filter. Tests performed on the new method show that it is more accurate and efficient than standard integration techniques such as the Runge‐Kutta method or the Taylor method.
