Resumen

A cadeia leiteira em Palmas, Tocantins, é relevante socialmente e possui lacunas que pedem intervenção, como a alta informalidade. O propósito deste estudo foi elencar certificações que promovam a ascensão de produtores de leite para melhores posições dentro da cadeia global de valor do leite no município de Palmas. O estudo consistiu em entrevistas a 58 atores da cadeia leiteira de Palmas em outubro de 2019. A estrutura teórica adotada foi a cadeia global de valor, focando na dimensão upgrading, que considera as diferentes possibilidades de melhoria da posição dos atores na cadeia de valor. Verificou-se uma alta informalidade entre os produtores entrevistados (77,5%), sendo que apenas 10% comercializam formalmente a produção láctea e 5% possuem Selo Artesanal. Foi verificado interesse na formalização, embora a assimetria de informação e poder sejam barreiras significativas. Certificações como S.I.M., S.I.E., Selo Artesanal, Produto Orgânico e leite A2 constituem em caminhos para upgrading, agregando maior valor aos produtos e segurança financeira ao produtor. A conquista de certificações depende de aspectos que envolvem não apenas os atores da cadeia mas também o Poder Público.

Resumen

The School of Tomorrow (S.O.T.) having the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) here in the Philippines promises that they can give the most advanced twenty-first-century educational system available, but the experiences and grievances of S.O.T. graduates stated otherwise. This case study intends to determine the key informant's experiences in transitioning from Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) institution to conventional schools in Capiz. This study utilized interviews, observation, and data reviews in gathering the data while the Mayring (2002) approach was utilized in analyzing the data. Themes came out from the constructs of the interviewees in Capiz, like S.O.T. curriculum is offered in Pre-School to Junior High School only, difficulty in transitioning from S.O.T. school to conventional schools offering Senior High School Program and conventional schools must be adopted and integrated to the S.O.T. Junior High School. The output of the research is the proposed new S.O.T. curriculum model to help address the existing problems.

Resumen

Most societies have some sort of rite of passage from childhood to adulthood. The aborigine in Australia send adolescents into the wilderness on a "walkabout." German noblemen prove their maturity by acquiring dueling scars. Americans have one in which their young people spend three high-pressured hours filling in little boxes. Anthropologists call it "Taking the Scholastic Aptitude Test." What do they measure? To anyone with lingering faith in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and truth-in-packaging, the answer is obvious: The Scholastic Aptitude Test measures scholastic aptitude. For that answer score zero. The test was created in 1926, when people still believed that there was something called intelligence that experts could measure and put a number on. Scholastic aptitude was its academic counterpart. Today no one believes that intelligence is that simple, and developers of the aptitude test have backed away from claiming to measure aptitude. What does the test tell colleges? The College Board says the examination predicts college grades in the freshman year. The technical term is predictive validity, which is measured on a scale of zero to one. Zero means that the result would be as random as using a zip code. A perfect 1.0 means that everyone with high test scores will get high grades, everyone with low scores will get low grades and so forth. Testmakers' research shows that college freshmen grades can be predicted with a validity of 0.42 based on the aptitude test, 0.48 based on high school grades and 0.55 if both are used. Since colleges already have students' grades, the incremental advantage of having the test scores is 0.07. Do test scores change admissions decisions? In a new book, "The Case Against the S.A.T.," James Crouse and Dale Trushei.m of the University of Delaware argue that the test is "valid but redundant." They conducted their own studies and concluded that by using high school grades alone, they could come to the same conclusion as admissions directors in all but 3 percent of cases-not enough, in their opinion, to justify the whole enterprise.

The publishers of the Scholastic Aptitude Test have maintained for many years that the SAT has helped blacks and members of other disadvantaged groups get ahead in American society. But this cheerful view has no basis in fact. SAT scores have never been a threat to the social hegemony of the American white upper middle class; indeed, they have reinforced it. Most minority applicants who are admitted to selective colleges are admitted in spite of their SAT scores, not because of them. American society has indeed become more egalitarian during the 60 years the SAT has been in existence, but the test itself has had nothing to do with bringing about that social transformation. If anything, it has stood in the way.

Seventy clinically normal 13-day-old crossbred pigs from 10 litters from a Streptococcus suis-infected herd were randomly assigned by litter and weight to 7 groups of 10 pigs each to determine whether different antibiotic regimens would eliminate the tonsillar carrier state of S. suis. Six antimicrobial regimens were tested: penicillin intramuscularly (IM) once daily (s.i.d.) for 3 consecutive days; penicillin IM s.i.d. for 5 consecutive days; ampicillin IM s.i.d. for 5 consecutive days; ampicillin per os s.i.d. for 5 consecutive days; ampicillin intranasally s.i.d. for 5 consecutive days; and ceftiofur sodium IM s.i.d. for 5 consecutive days. The seventh group consisted of untreated control pigs. Tonsillar swab samples were collected before treatment, and tonsillar tissue samples were collected after treatment for cultural examination for S. suis. Streptococcus suis was identified in pigs from all groups prior to treatment and after treatment. Pigs did not have clinical signs of disease during the study. All antimicrobial treatments tested in this study failed to eliminate the tonsillar carrier state of S. suis. Early weaning and medication used in this study were not effective for the elimination of the tonsillar carrier state of S. suis in pigs. Optimization of management and environment of pigs coupled with strategic medication of clinically ill animals should be used for control and prevention of mortality caused by streptococcosis.

Al-Qur’an mengatur dan mendorong manusia untuk bekerja secara maksimal dan benar guna mendapatkan rezeki yang halal dan baik untuk menafkahkan diri maupun keluarganya. Resumen

A castração cirúrgica é o método contraceptivo mais eficiente e indicado na medicina veterinária, pois atua no controle de zoonoses e doenças infecciosas, além de contribuir para a docilidade, diminuição de perambulação e demarcação de território. Dessa forma, também atua como uma ferramenta de saúde pública para o controle de superpopulação animal. O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar quatro protocolos analgésicos na castração cirúrgica de gatas para determinação da melhor estratégia farmacológica no controle álgico, utilizando como ferramenta de aferição da dor a Escala da dor da Universidade de Melbourne. Selecionou-se 60 gatas hígidas, sem raça definida, com idade entre 6 meses e 2 anos provenientes da cidade de Bandeirantes, Paraná, Brasil. Os animais foram divididos em 4 grupos: Grupo 1 - 15 animais que receberam dipirona (25 mg/kg, s.i.d.); Grupo 2 – 15 animais que receberam cloridrato de tramadol (3 mg/kg, t.i.d.) associado à dipirona (25 mg/kg, s.i.d.); Grupo 3 – 15 animais que receberam meloxicam (0,1 mg/kg, s.i.d.) associado à dipirona (25 mg/kg, s.i.d.); e Grupo 4 – 15 animais que receberam meloxicam (0,1 mg/kg, s.i.d.). Os medicamentos foram administrados por via oral. Os animais foram observados e assim feitas as médias (scores) na escala de Melbourne nos tempos pós-cirúrgicos 4, 24, 48 e 72 horas. O fármaco meloxicam apresentou o melhor resultado no controle da dor e o menos eficaz foi o protocolo utilizado pela associação de tramadol com dipirona. Conclui-se que o meloxicam foi o protocolo mais indicado para a mitigação da dor em gatas submetidas à técnica de ovariohisterectomia eletiva.

Resumen

Bentuk sastra lisan bermacam-macam, salah satunya adalah cerita rakyat. Cerita rakyat bagian dari sastra lisan yang pernah ada dan menjadi jati diri sekelompok masyarakat. Cerita Rakyat Putri Mandalika merupakan cerita rakyat yang dibukukan oleh S.S.T Wisnu Sasangka. Cerita rakyat ini sendiri menceritakan tentang kisah seorang putri kerajaan yang cantik, anggun dan berbudi luhur bernama Putri Denda Mandalika. Kecantikan dan budi luhur Putri Denda Mandalika membuat para Raja dan Pangeran dari seluruh pelosok ingin meminangnya untuk dijadikan sebagai permaisuri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai sosial dalam cerita Putri Denda Mandalika versi S.S.T Wisnu Sasangka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis deskriptif kualitatif yang menggunakan metode analisis deksriptif. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis, diidentifikasi, diklasifikasi, dan dideskripsikan. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah buku cerita Putri Denda Mandalika versi S.S.T Wisnu Sasangka. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kepustakaan yakni teknik yang menggunakan sumber-sumber tertulis untuk memperoleh data. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan pragmatik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai-nilai didaktis dalam cerita rakyat Putri Denda Mandalika versi S.S.T Wisnu Sasangka. Adapun nilai-nilai didaktis yang ditemukan yakni salah satunya nilai social . Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan aspek sosial yang berupa nilai tolong menolong. Hal ini tergambar dari sikap yang ditunjukkan oleh tokoh Maspahit, Wiku Beganda, dan Putri Mandalika.

The way to determine 'uqubat (punishment) is by means of ijtihad. Ta'zir is part of 'uqubat (punishment) against a finger (mistake) that has been committed by someone who violates the rights of Allah s.w.t and the rights of servants. The purpose of determining the 'uqubat (punishment) ta'zir is: first; to uphold justice, second; for tadrib (education) perpetrators of jarimah (lawbreakers), third; to create benefit (prosperity) in society, and fourth; to protect human rights (HAM) in Islam. While the basic principle of its determination is: "To glorify the Shari'at of Allah s.w.t (Islamic Shari'at)". Resumen

In the Qur ‟an, out of thousands of verses in it, there are only 4 verses that explain about Isrâ‟ Mi ‟raj, namely Q.S. Bani Isra`il Ayat 1, and Q.S. AnNajm Verses 13 to 15. That is, the greatness of Islam does not lie in the event of Isra ‟Mi‟ raj, but in its concept, system, and content. In Surat An-Najm Verses 13-15, it is described that Rasulullah met Jibril in his original form in Sidratil Muntaha during Isrâ` Mi ‟raj. Previously, Rasulullah also met the angel Jibril in his original form when he received the first verse (Q.S. Al-Alaq: 1-5) from Allah S.W.T., that is, when he was in the cave of Hira. The events of Isrâ '1 and Mi'râj are one of the miracles bestowed by Allah S.W.T. to His Messenger, Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., as a form of honor and consolation after his uncle and wife passed away. The event also served as a performer after his S.A.W. getting unfriendly treatment from the Thai population. This event is immortalized in the Qur ‟ân and Al-Hadith. Allah S.W.T. mentions this event in two places in the Qur`ân, namely Al-Isrâ ‟/17 Verse 1 and An-Najm/53 Verses 13-18. Dalam Al Qur‟an, dari sekian ribu ayat di dalamnya, hanya ada 4 ayat yang menjelaskan tentang Isrâ‟ Mi‟raj, yaitu Q.S. Bani Isra`il Ayat 1, dan Q.S. AnNajm Ayat 13 sampai 15. Maksudnya, kebesaran Islam itu bukan terletak pada peristiwa Isra‟ Mi‟raj ini, tapi pada konsep, sistem, dan muatannya. Pada Surat An-Najm Ayat 13-15 itu, menggambarkan bahwa Rasulullah menemui Jibril dalam bentuk aslinya di Sidratil Muntaha ketika Isrâ` Mi‟raj. Sebelumnya Rasulullah juga pernah menjumpai malaikat Jibril dalam bentuk asli ketika menerima ayat pertama (Q.S. Al-Alaq: 1-5) dari Allah S.W.T., yaitu ketika berada di gua Hira. Peristiwa Isrâ' 1 dan Mi'râj merupakan salah satu di antara mukjizat yang diberikan Allah S.W.T. kepada Rasul-Nya, Nabi Muhammad S.A.W., sebagai wujud penghormatan dan pelipur lara setelah paman dan istri beliau meninggal dunia. Peristiwa ini juga sebagai penghibur setelah beliau S.A.W. mendapatkan perlakuan tidak bersahabat dari penduduk Thâif. Peristiwa ini diabadikan dalam AlQur‟ân dan Al-Hadits. Allah S.W.T. menyebutkan peristiwa ini di dua tempat dalam Al-Qur`ân, yaitu Al-Isrâ‟/17 Ayat 1 dan An-Najm/53 Ayat 13-18.

Abstrak: Upaya mengembangkan karakter siswa salah satunya dapat dilakukan dengan membangun pemahaman pada diri siswa melalui nilai-nilai didaktis dalam cerita rakyat Putri Denda Mandalika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai didaktis dalam cerita Putri Denda Mandalika versi S.S.T Wisnu Sasangka dan hubungannya dengan pembelajaran sastra di SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis deskriptif kualitatif yang menggunakan metode analisis deksriptif. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis, diidentifikasi, diklasifikasi, dan dideskripsikan. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah buku cerita Putri Denda Mandalika versi S.S.T Wisnu Sasangka. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kepustakaan yakni teknik yang menggunakan sumber-sumber tertulis untuk memperoleh data. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan pragmatik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai-nilai didaktis dalam cerita rakyat Putri Denda Mandalika versi S.S.T Wisnu Sasangka dan terdapat hubungan antara nilai-nilai didaktis yang ditemukan dengan pembelajaran sastra di SMA. Adapun nilai-nilai didaktis yang ditemukan yakni nilai moral, nilai sosial, nilai religius, dan nilai budaya. Sedangkan hubungan nilai-nilai didaktis dalam cerita rakyat Putri Denda Mandalika dengan pembelajaran sastra di SMA adalah dengan dimasukkannya cerita rakyat Putri Denda Mandalika sebagai bahan ajar dalam memenuhi standar kompetensi dasar no 3.7 dan 4.7. Abstract: One of the efforts to develop student character can be done by building understanding in students through didactic values ??in the folklore of Putri Denda Mandalika. This study aims to determine the didactic values ??in the story of Putri Denda Mandalika S.S.T Wisnu Sasangka version and its relationship with literature learning in high school. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using descriptive analysis method. The collected data is analyzed, identified, classified and described. The data source in this research is the story book of Putri Denda Mandalika S.S.T version of Wisnu Sasangka. Data collection is done by using the literature method which is a technique that uses written sources to obtain data. Analysis of the data in this study used descriptive analysis with a pragmatic approach. The results showed that there were didactic values ??in the S.S.T Wisnu Sasangka version of Putri Denda Mandalika folklore and there was a relationship between didactic values ??found and literary learning in high school. The didactic values ??found were moral values, social values, religious values, and cultural values. Whereas the relationship between didactic values ??in the Putri Denda Mandalika folklore with literary learning in high school is the inclusion of Putri Denda Mandalika folklore as teaching material in meeting basic competency standards no. 3.7 and 4.7.

Resumen

This paper describes the study of a twelve floor concrete building with a waffle slab system located 300 meters from the accelerometer at Secretaria de Comunicaciones y Transportes (S.C.T) in Mexico City. First, the reduced seismic coefficient associated with the failure of the critical story is calculated by a linear dynamic analysis which reproduces the damage provoked by the 1985 earthquake to the real structure. Second, the ductility factor associated with the damaged stories is obtained through a step-by-step non-linear dynamic analysis. Finally, the peak value of the S.C.T. maximum ordinate for spectral response corresponding to 5 percent of critical damping was determined from this analysis.

Resumen

In this paper, the concept of a family of local atoms in a Banach space is introduced by using a semi-inner product (s.i.p.). Then this concept is generalized to an atomic system for operators in Banach spaces. We also give some characterizations of atomic systems leading to new frames for operators. In addition, a reconstruction formula is obtained. The characterizations of atomic systems allow us to state some results for sampling theory in s.i.p reproducing kernel Banach spaces. Finally, we define the concept of frame operator for these kinds of frames in Banach spaces and then we establish a perturbation result in this framework.

Resumen

The purpose was evaluating the short term survival rate of extra narrow diameter dental implants (2.9 mm, Unitite Slim, S.I.N. Implant System) used to support full-arch mandibular reconstructions. This was a randomized clinical trial analyzing the survival rate of 25 implants measuring 2.9 mm in diameter and 11.5 mm in length (Slim, Unitite, S.I.N. Implant System), and up to 40 N loading torque with immediate loading for protocol-type rehabilitation in the mandible region. Of the 25 implants, 100% remained in function after three months or 180 days of installation. Rehabilitation of total edentulous patients in the mandible with extra-narrow implants (2.9 mm) proved to be effective and promising as an alternative therapy to grafts.

Resumen

Le but de cet article est d’analyser l’efficacité du système québécois de soutien du revenu défini par les programmes d’aide sociale (A.S.) et de supplément au revenu de travail (S.R.T.). Au plan socio-économique le travail montre qu’il faut imputer l’augmentation des bénéficiaires, aptes au travail, émergeant du principal programme de soutien du revenu (l’A.S.), à une structure inefficace de paramètres compte tenu des variables d’environnement économique. Cette conclusion s’appuie au plan scientifique sur le concept de salaire (revenu) de réserve, défini rigoureusement et généralisé pour tenir compte des coûts directs et indirects du travail. L’étude présente les différents salaires (revenus) de réserve associés à l’A.S. et au S.R.T. et leur sensibilité aux variations des paramètres des mêmes programmes.
