Resumen
The article analyzes the state of the goat breeding industry in Russia from 2007 to 2022. Based on official data from the Federal State Statistics Service and data from the All-Russian Research Institute of Breeding, presented in the public domain, an assessment of the state of the goat breeding industry in Russia was carried out and the main trends and patterns were identified. As part of the study, it was revealed that goat breeding in Russia is mainly concentrated in small forms of farming and currently there are no prospects for scalability, while the number of goats is decreasing annually. The leader among federal districts in terms of livestock is the Siberian Federal District, and among the subjects of the Federation the undisputed leader is the Republic of Tyva. Dairy goat farming ranks third in the world in milk production, behind cows and buffaloes. In Russia, there is a clear trend towards increasing milk production. The leader in goat milk production is the Leningrad region. The analysis of modern domestic goat breeding made it possible to formulate the main problems that impede the effective development of the industry in the country and outline possible ways to solve them.

Resumen
The situation of the development of dairy goat breeding in the world and in Russia is considered. Interest in goat milk as an object of functional nutrition is noted. The history of dairy goat breeding in Russia is described. It is shown that this country does not have a single domestic breed of dairy or meat goats. It is emphasized that the majority of dairy goats in the Russian Federation are local outbreed goats, but many territories are interested in purebred breeding and have favorable conditions for the development of goat breeding. The research materials were the results of a generalization of the experience of foreign and domestic goat breeders. Alpine, Nubian and Czech goat breeds have been identified as promising. These breeds are still rare for the country and characterized by high productivity. It is important to carry out selective work and have state support for the development of the industry. Despite the good prospects for the development of industrial dairy goat breeding, the basis will be farms and personal households in the near future. It is advisable to create associations of goat breeders at regional levels, as well as at the all-Russian level with international relations, for training farm specialists and all interested goat breeders in techniques for breeding work, technology for keeping and feeding animals, which will help to increase their professional level and develop the industry in general.

The article aims to reconstruct the history of women who created female Soviet samizdat Woman and Russia and magazine Maria. They are examples of a postsoviet woman who needs to find a place for herself in the new Russian reality after the fall of the Eastern Block. Despite her experience in dissident activity she cannot find her place in the new women`s movement in Russia. The Russian women’s movement in 90’s had two main sources: women organizations originating from the Soviet times and the Russian feminist research institutes, which were cooperating with Western feminist organizations. Despite big popularity of women`s organization in the beginning nowadays Russia has got a problem with poor social and political activity of Russian women. The author of the article indicates several reasons for such a situation.

Resumen
The article draws on International Relations theorizing of different logics of social action to provide yet another conceptual interpretation of the dynamics of EU-Russia relations before the deepest crisis started in 2022. The research concentrates on the logics of habit, arguing and affective action. Logics precluding changes in EU-Russia relations are illustrated by foreign policy moves and perceptions of both sides pre-2022 crisis. According to the logic of arguing, Russia refuted the EU’s claim to have the better argument, while the EU did not accept Russia’s self-attributed status of a country belonging to the Western lifeworld with shared political culture and did not take Russian arguments as genuine. Consequently, in the logic of affective action, Russian authorities got frustrated and angry because of the EU’s denial of an important Russian affectual need for belonging. The habits of mutual distrust and the incompatibility of mutual perceptions lead to the routinization of the conflict that is very difficult if not impossible to overcome.

Resumen
The article studies archival materials of the 18th – first half of the 19th century, devoted to issues of the Kyrgyz-Russian relations from their origin to 1855. The analysis of sources proves that the Siberian (Yenisei) Kyrgyz got acquainted with Russian troops at the end of the 16th century, during the conquest of Siberia by the Russian state, however, the Russians had information concerning the Tien Shan Kyrgyz since the 18th century. Those proves are based on the reports of I.S. Unkovsky, the Ambassador of Peter I, the memo of P.I. Rychkov and the note of F.S. Efremov. The article provides data that the Siberian Kyrgyz have been gradually accepting Russian citizenship since the middle of the 18th century. The article analyzes materials about the first Kyrgyz embassy to Russia in 1785. The author emphasizes that the research of trade routes through the territory of the Tien Shan, the diplomatic mission of Zibberstein-Nyukhalov in 1813, the subsequent correspondence of Kyrgyz biys with the West Siberian Governorate General became an important milestone in the establishment of relations between the Kyrgyz and Russia. The materials provided in the article prove that the Kyrgyz-Russian relations that originated in the 18th century logically resulted in the voluntary association of Northern Kyrgyzstan to Russia.

Resumen
Hathnikund is a place in Yamunanagar District in Haryana where Yamuna Rivers forms a sort of Lake over raised plinth after descending into plains from Himalayas nearby Ponta Sahib town near Haryana-Himachal Border. At the same time, Tajewala Barrage is one more pool like scenic place where waters of Western Yamuna Canal are collected by Govt. of Haryana for subsequent multipurpose. In the present studies, wetland bird’s diversity of Hathnikund has been recorded, analyzed and interpreted. The studies were conducted for a period of three years (September 2005-March 2008) during winter season only. The present studies revealed that in all 47 species of wetland birds belonging to 9 orders and 13 families were observed during September 2005-March 2011. Out of these 47 species of wetland birds, 26 species were Winter Migratory, 13 Resident and 9 species were Local Migratory. In so far as Abundance Status is concerned, 26 species of birds were Common, Nine species were UnCommon, Seven Species of birds were Very Common and five species were Rare. Truely winter migratory birds observed belong to Orders, Ciconiiformes, Anseriformes and Chardriiformes. Prominent migratory birds include, amongst others, Bar-headed Goose Anser indicus, Brahminy Shelduck Tadorna ferruginea, Gadwall Anas strepera, Eurasian Wigeon Anas penelope, Mallard Anas platyrhynchos, Northern Pintail Anas acuta, Northern Shoveller Anas clypeata, Red-crested Pochard Rhodonessa rufina, Common Pochard Aythya ferina, Tufted Pochard Aythya fuligula which come to Hathini Kund during winter from far off places like Russia, Siberia, South and East Asia, China and Caspian region. It is recommended that Hathnikund be further promoted as Winter Halting Place for migratory birds by adding islands within the Water Sheet, the construction of wide margins on the peripheral zones and a rich canopy of endemic trees by implanted in plenty. It is further recommended that Eco-tourism facilities be generated at Hathnikund, linking biodiversity with society’s economic upliftment, employment and awareness. It is also recommended that Fish angling sport can be an added attraction to Bird Watching. In correlation with mystery-wrapped natural ambiences of Hathnikund, it can be sold to tourists of foreign origin thus generating exchange earning facility. As of today, no body known about Hathnikund except amateur bird watchers who turn out to be tourists too, if appropriate lodging boarding facilities are available.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.3126/ijls.v5i1.5953 International Journal of Life Sciences Vol.5(1) 2011 39-43

Resumen
The hypothesis of this research is that Russia has been imposing its influence on Ukraine since the collapse of the Soviet Union. Before the political and military crisis in 2013, it was an indirect influence, whereas since 2014 it has been a direct impact in many spheres. It is necessary to underline that Ukraine has always been split into two parts in terms of foreign policy priorities, language, religion, and culture. This fact was mentioned by Samuel Huntington, who predicted an intense crisis in bilateral relations between Russia and Ukraine in his work Clash of Civilizations. There were two parties in Ukraine that were widely supported in South-Eastern Ukraine, namely the Party of Regions and the Communist Party. The former never spoke about the integration of Ukraine as part of Russian integrational projects because its politicians were afraid of aggressive Russian capital. So they only used pro-Russian rhetoric to win elections. The Communist Party openly backed integration with Russia, but didn’t get enough support as for this idea. It is also demonstrated that there were no parties that were backed financially by Russia, because the parties that offered a kind of a union with Russia never got any seats in the parliament. Since 2014, Russia has been imposing its influence on Ukraine in various spheres, such as economics, politics, diplomacy, the military sphere, etc. Having signed two cease-fire agreements, Russia and Ukraine have failed to apply them and the crisis continues to this day.

During the reign of Catherine II the Empire continues to develop its economic and social spheres and government system. Both the court nobility and the townspeople adopt Europen lifestyle, manners and fashion, learn foreign languages. In fact, clothes and hairstyles were only a small part of fashion for an 18th century person. Transformation of trends and tastes affected the language, customs, emotions and even illnesses. Fashion’s contribution to the development of social processes raises the question: what patterns affected the Russian culture, which was looking for new standards of behavior and ideal of appearence. That is why it is so important to include the history of Russian fashion in the history of European dress. Using comparative study methods I study fashion as a product of cross-cultural exchange, transfer of ideas. The first direction of my work includes studying the texts in English, French, German, which affected the formation of Russian style. The second direction is analysis of the terms "elegant", "beautiful", "attractive", "healthy" both in literature, and in everyday life. The third direction of my work is about the dynamics of fashion: invention of new devices, purchasing goods and, most importantly, spread of information about the changes

Alder, Clarke G. "Evaluating Integrated Weed Management: Russian Knapweed Control With Goat Grazing and Aminopyralid". DigitalCommons@USU, 2013. http://digitalcommons.usu.edu/etd/1514.

Texto completo
Resumen
Russian knapweed (Acroptilon repens) is an invasive perennial forb that has become well established in much of the western United States and Canada since the late 1800s. Aminopyralid is a relatively new pyridine carboxylic acid herbicide registered for use on rangelands and has provided excellent control of Russian knapweed in many studies. Research trials were conducted on two adjacent plot sites at Dinosaur National Monument to evaluate the effects of a single spring goat grazing paired with a fall application of aminopyralid at 0, 53, 70, 88, and 105 g ae ha-1 on Russian knapweed control. Russian knapweed density, canopy cover, and biomass were reduced to 0 or near 0 by all rates of aminopyralid, regardless of grazing treatment. Conversely, desirable grass cover and biomass increased at all rates of aminopyralid regardless of grazing treatment. Aminopyralid provided excellent control of Russian knapweed at all rates tested. Desirable perennial grass species have the potential to be injured when growth regulator herbicides are used for broadleaf weed control. Greenhouse trials performed at Utah State University and field trials performed in Logan, UT from 2009&ndash2011 evaluated tolerance and response of six native perennial bunchgrasses to growth regulator herbicides. Grasses used in the study included tall wheatgrass, bluebunch wheatgrass, Great Basin wildrye, Indian ricegrass, big bluegrass, and bottlebrush squirreltail. Two rates each of aminopyralid, aminocyclopyrachlor, and clopyralid were evaluated. Herbicide test rates were based on the labeled rate for control of Russian knapweed and other creeping perennials. Tolerance to herbicides varied among grass species. Petri&ndashdish trials showed reductions in root length by all three herbicides in all six speceis 14 days after treatment (DAT). Shoot length was significantly reduced by both rates of aminopyralid (123 and 246 g ae ha-1) and 280 g ai ha-1 of amincyclopyrachlor. The same species were evaluated in the field and greenhouse in response to postemergence applications of the same herbicides. Of the six grass species tested, &lsquoSherman&rsquo big bluegrass appeared to be highly tolerant to aminopyralid, clopyralid, and aminocyclopyrachlor, and &lsquoMagnar&rsquo Great Basin wildrye and Anatone bluebunch wheatgrass appeared to be the most sensitive to aminopyralid and aminocyclopoyrachlor in both the field and the greenhouse.

On a specific example of a French company having innovative technologies in the field of heating and water distribution, and realizing an expansion project to a new market, in this case, the Russian market, the author shows the importance of technologies when penetrating a market strongly different from the domestic one. Within the heating sector in the country where, because of a cold climate, the need to feel warm is a vital need, where the technological backwardness due to the historical phenomenon of the central residential heating monopoly is obvious, and where market is taking shape and competition is now growing, new technologies have without doubt a capital part to play. How should a company with such technologies approach the Russian market certainly very promising, but also fragile especially in this delicate period of the world economic crisis? What are the risks and the perspectives for the company? How to succeed in this market? How to enhance the value and to transfer new technological solutions? What advantages does this transfer bring to the company, but also to the company’s local partner, to the targeted region, and to the receiving country? These are questions the author asks himself. The role of new technologies is certainly beyond a sector or a field of activity: the new technologies brought by western companies undoubtedly accelerated, as Russia is concerned, the change from the Soviet-type economic system to a free-market system, known as the market economy

This study proposes to clarify the contribution of France during the first stage of development of the Imperial Gallery of Paintings, which gave birth to the State Hermitage Museum, in Saint Petersburg. It is during this period that the gallery of the Russian sovereigns, within a new palatial complex, is gathered, organized and housed immediately just next to the Winter Palace – the seat of power – in an establishment which is quickly given the – French – name, “Hermitage.”This study is divided in three parts. First, the study will present the contribution of France under Catherine the Great (1729-1762-1796), by examining both the construction of the Hermitage’s building and the formation of the collections. Secondly, we will delve into the reigns of Paul I (1754-1796-1801) and especially his son, Alexander the Great (1777-1801-1825), in order to determine how they managed this inheritance, by highlighting how these sovereigns used the ideas and artworks from France. Finally, the study will establish, how, at the end of this first stage of the evolution of the Hermitage, France stimulated the transformation of the Imperial Gallery into an institution whose trajectory arced towards becoming a museum

Resumen
On my third evening in Russia, the world changed. I was in Stavropol, a city founded by Prince Gregory Potemkin at the time of the American Revolution as one of ten fortresses to defend the borders of the expanding Russian Empire. To the south were the Caucasus, formidable mountains and myriad peoples. Stavropol grew as an administrative center of tsarist and later Soviet power. It briefly fell to the Wehrmacht in 1942 as the invading army drove unsuccessfully toward the oilfields of Baku. Later, a popular young party secretary from the area got noticed in Moscow, joined the Politburo, and in 1985 became general secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. Mikhail Gorbachev’s reforms would inadvertently lead to a geopolitical earthquake, the end of the Cold War in Europe, and the unthinkable—the collapse of the Communist empire built by Lenin and Stalin. That evening the provost of Stavropol State University toasted the health of the international academics attending the conference starting the next morning. Many other benevolent toasts were exchanged, and a singularly somber one. A researcher with the Memorial Human Rights Center reminded us that a war raged nearby in Chechnya, an “inner abroad” of Russia. Here Russia’s new president had approved the indiscriminate shelling of a Russian city and a dirty war against citizens redefined as “terrorists.” Returning to our hotel that evening in a bus under armed guard, a Croatian friend and I were chatting when told to turn on the television. Russian television was broadcasting footage of airplanes crashing into skyscrapers in lower Manhattan on what seemed like a continuous loop. The full magnitude of what had happened was only apparent the next day. Like many, the Twin Towers were entwined with personal memories—first seeing them in rural Ireland on a pennant my uncle brought back from his vacation to New York, and later visiting the observation deck with my parents and friends. Furthermore, the attack on the Pentagon was only two miles from my home, a few more from where I worked, and all too close to some former students who worked in the building.

Golubev, Igor y Igor Kadarmetov. "Development of the Code GOLT for Performance Evaluation of Coated-Particles Fuel". En Fourth International Topical Meeting on High Temperature Reactor Technology. ASMEDC, 2008. http://dx.doi.org/10.1115/htr2008-58156.

Texto completo
Resumen
The coated particles (CP) performance computer code GOLT (Russian abbreviation of Gas-Cooled Fuel) is under development at the A. A. Bochvar All-Russia Research Institute of Inorganic Materials. The main goal of the code is supporting development of fuel for the Gas-Turbine Modular Helium Reactor (GT-MHR). The first version GOLT-v1 has capable to calculate temperature distribution along particle radius, fuel kernel swelling, development of internal pressure under coating due to formation of gaseous fission products and CO, development of stresses and deformation in each coating layer. For TRISO-type particles special probabilistic failure model was developed. According to the failure model integrated probability of silicon carbide failure depends on probability of each dense pyrocarbon layer failure. Probabilistic version GOLT-v2 takes into account possibility of gap formation between buffer and inner dense pyrocarbon layer or between kernel and buffer that influences on maximal fuel temperature and stresses distribution in coating. More detail model of buffer performance at irradiation was developed and included in the code. List of probable coating failure mechanisms was extended. The ability of coating failure due to Kernel-Coating Mechanical Interaction (KCMI) as well as model of failure due to kernel migration was added. Thermo-dynamical code ASTRA is used in some tasks as supporting tool for calculating internal pressure and chemical interaction between SiC coating and fission products and CO. The version GOLT-v3 has accumulated all capabilities of previous versions and included Monte-Carlo analysis for estimation of fraction of failed particles with account of statistical dispersion of structural, materials and operating parameters. In the paper short description of capabilities of last versions of the code is presented. Main attention is putted to results of development version GOLT-v2a for evaluation fuel performance during accidents.

Texto completo
Resumen
A report is devoted to new Russian National standards GOST R 53630-2006 “Steel welded vessels and apparatus. General specifications” and GOST R 52857.1-2007÷GOST R 52857.12-2007 “Vessels and apparatus. Norms and methods of strength calculation”, which were published in 2007–2008. They changed 33 regulations, which were in force earlier. This report contains general description of recently developed standards, considers its structure, approaches and methods of calculation and design, main distinctions with previous normative documents. It is significant, that developed standards meet the requirement of the standard ISO 16528-1 “Boilers and pressure vessels. Part 1: Performance requirements”. The author compares new Russian standards with ASME Boiler and pressure vessel code. Section VIII, Division 1 and 2, EN 13445 “Unfired pressure vessel” and other well-known international standards. There is also a description of the software, designed in accordance with new Russian standards. Further development of normative methods of calculation and design, including those, that based on computational modeling of constructions, are discussed in the final part of the report.

Texto completo
Resumen
The author discusses the RF policy of import substitution, in particular, the problem of abundant offers and related difficulties of software choice. The demand for Russian software has been increasing. The comparison between Russian and Eurasian software registers demonstrates that many products have the same capability, which economically can be seen as the excessiveness of offers. This affects both individual and corporate users who are discouraged choosing between similar software features. Most frequently, the choice is made between two or three most popular IT-products. The Russian software register embraces quite a few software products for the libraries, sometimes with analogous capabilities. However, in this case, the excessiveness of choice is out of the question because the library software, unlike other categories, have been being developed by Russian companies adapted to the national environment, RF laws and Russia’s librarianship traditions, therefore every Russian software program has got its target market and user pool. The author expects that many software products would not be able to compete, and the market of library software products will stay with no significant change. However, to keep competitive, software products for Russian OS or independent from installed OS have to be designed. The publication is prepared within the Framework of the Government Order to RNPLS&T for 2023, project No. 720000F.99.1.BN60AA03000, theme No. 1021062311369-1-1.2.1;5.8.2;5.8.3.

En The 3rd International Conference on Future of Education 2020. The International Institute of Knowledge Management, 2020. http://dx.doi.org/10.17501/26307413.2020.3109.

Texto completo
Resumen
One of the teaching models which stimulates and motivates students' studying activities is the flipped class, which “turns over” the traditional order of the material (a lecture - homework) vice versa. The purpose of this work is to present the effectiveness of the usage of the flipped class model when teaching international students’ theoretical disciplines in Russian at the philological faculty at Pushkin State Russian Language Institute. The traditional way of giving the material of theoretical disciplines to the international students didn’t show the high results: the students couldn’t master the material in full, didn’t understand texts of the lectures due to an insufficiently formed lexical stock and couldn’t do practical tasks and tests. The students met significant difficulties during the performance of the certification work. It became clear that the special preparative work must be done with the students before they begin to listen to lectures. So, the teaching and academic staff of the department (Department of Methodology of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language) at the philological faculty decided to change the traditional way of giving theoretical lecture material in Russian for the international students into the flipped class teaching model. In 2019-2020 academic year the international students got the new formatted material under study within the theoretical discipline “Aspect study of the Russian Language in an international audience”. LMS Canvas was used as an educational platform, where the students got different tasks with video lectures, articles, questions, practical exercises. At the end of the term the students completed the certification work. And the high points which the students got for the work indicated the correctness of the chosen teaching model. Keywords: teaching international students, traditional format of teaching, flipped class teaching model, Russian and international audience

Halych, Valentyna. SERHII YEFREMOV’S COOPERATION WITH THE WESTERN UKRAINIAN PRESS: MEMORIAL RECEPTION. Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, febrero de 2021. http://dx.doi.org/10.30970/vjo.2021.49.11055.

Resumen
The subject of the study is the cooperation of S. Efremov with Western Ukrainian periodicals as a page in the history of Ukrainian journalism which covers the relationship of journalists and scientists of Eastern and Western Ukraine at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. Research methods (biographical, historical, comparative, axiological, statistical, discursive) develop the comprehensive disclosure of the article. As a result of scientific research, the origins of Ukrainocentrism in the personality of S. Efremov were clarified; his person as a public figure, journalist, publisher, literary critic is multifaceted; taking into account the specifics of the memoir genre and with the involvement of the historical context, the turning points in the destiny of the author of memoirs are interpreted, revealing cooperation with Western Ukrainian magazines and newspapers. The publications ‘Zoria’, ‘Narod’, ‘Pravda’, ‘Bukovyna’, ‘Dzvinok’, are secretly got into sub-Russian Ukraine, became for S. Efremov a spiritual basis in understanding the specifics of the national (Ukrainian) mass media, ideas of education in culture of Ukraine at the end of XIX century, its territorial integrity, and state independence. Memoirs of S. Efremov on cooperation with the iconic Galician journals ‘Notes of the Scientific Society after the name Shevchenko’ and ‘Literary-Scientific Bulletin’, testify to an important stage in the formation of the author’s worldview, the expansion of the genre boundaries of his journalism, active development as a literary critic. S. Yefremov collaborated most fruitfully and for a long time with the Literary-Scientific Bulletin, and he was impressed by the democratic position of this publication. The author’s comments reveal a long-running controversy over the publication of a review of the new edition of Kobzar and thematically related discussions around his other literary criticism, in which the talent of the demanding critic was forged. S. Efremov steadfastly defended the main principles of literary criticism: objectivity and freedom of author’s thought. The names of the allies of the Ukrainian idea L. Skochkovskyi, O. Lototskyi, O. Konyskyi, P. Zhytskyi, M. Hrushevskyi in S. Efremov’s memoirs unfold in multifaceted portrait descriptions and function as historical and cultural facts that document the pages of the author’s biography, record his activities in space and time. The results of the study give grounds to characterize S. Efremov as the first professional Ukrainian-speaking journalist.
