Resumen
In the well-known document titled The decision about strategic goals of the Serb people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was officially published on the 26th of November 1993, and adopted on the 16th Assembly of the Serb people in Bosnia and Herzegovina in Banja Luka on the 12th of May 1992, the division of Sarajevo into the Serb and Muslim part was defined as the fifth strategic goal out of six. In the subversive euphoria, documented by shorthand from the Banja Luka assembly, the military and political leaders who explained the strategic goals of the aggression on Bosnia and Herzegovina at this meeting, left proof of the origin of this document, which ended up in the Assembly only to receive a legal form and to gain the Bosnian-Herzegovinian birth certificate. The political executor of the activities for the violent establishment of the Serb state westwards from the River Drina, Radovan Karadžić emphasized at the Banja Luka assembly the extreme importance of Sarajevo for the achievement of other strategic goals. His and Mladić’s interpretations are firm and irrefutable evidence that the brutal siege of Sarajevo, its barbaric destruction and crimes committed to its inhabitants are not a by-product and the unwanted consequence of the development of battles in and around Sarajevo, but a project aim in the function of realization of the mentioned strategic goals. In this paper, based on authentic documents, we will reconstruct the importance of Sarajevo and its siege as the strategic goal and the instrument for the realization of the whole of defined strategic goals of Republika Srpska during the war operations led on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period 1992-1995.

The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia has filed an Indictment (originally July 25, 1995, and an operational Indictment on October 19, 2009) against Radovan Karadzic, the former President of Republika Srpska and Commander-in-Chief of the Army of Republika Srpska. After many years of hiding in Serbia, Karadzic was arrested on July 21, 2008, and transferred to the ICTY on July 30 of that year. The trial began on 26 October 2009. Radovan Karadzic is charged for genocide (Counts 1 and 2); crimes against humanity: persecution (count 3), extermination (count 4), murder (count 5), deportation (count 7), inhumane acts - forcible transfer (count 8); and violations of the laws or customs of war: murder (count 6), terrorism (count 9), unlawful attacks on civilians (count 10), hostage-taking (count 11). Radovan Karadzic has been charged with individual criminal responsibility in accordance with Rule 7 (1) of the Statute of the International Tribunal through his participation in several joint criminal enterprises (JCEs). According to the Indictment, no later than October 1991 to November 30, 1995, Karadzic participated in a JCE aimed at the permanent removal of Bosniaks and Croats from certain areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina; from April 1992 to November 1995, he participated in the JCE to launch and conduct a campaign of sniping and shelling of the civilian population of Sarajevo, aimed at spreading terror among the civilian population; from July 1995 until 1 November 1995, he participated in the JCE of the elimination of Bosniaks in Srebrenica, by killing men and boys, as well as forcibly expelling women, children and the elderly from the area; and for participated in the JCE of taking members of the United Nations hostage during May and June 1995. Pursuant to Article 7 (3) of the Statute, the Indictment charges him with superior responsibility because he knew or had reason to know that forces under his effective control were being prepared to commit crimes or have already committed them, and has not taken measures to prevent the commission of crimes or to punish the perpetrators of those crimes. On June 11, 2012, Karadzic filed a motion for acquittal on all counts of the Indictment. Pursuant to Rule 98bis, on 28 June 2012, the Trial Chamber rendered a Decision dismissing the motion for acquittal on ten counts of the Indictment, but acquitted Count 1 of the Indictment relating to genocide committed in certain municipalities of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Bratunac, Foca, Kljuc, Prijedor, Sanski Most, Vlasenica and Zvornik. This count of the Indictment alleges that Karadzic is responsible for the genocide as a superior, and that in agreement with others he committed, planned, instigated, ordered and/or aided and abetted the genocide. Following the Prosecution's appeal against the decision to exclude Count 1 from the Indictment, on 11 July 2013 the Appeals Chamber quashed the Trial Chamber's decision and returned Count 1 of the Indictment charging Karadzic with genocide in the said municipalities, and the proceedings continued before the Trial Chamber. The Trial Chamber's verdict against Radovan Karadzic was handed down on March 24, 2016, sentencing him to 40 years in prison for genocide, crimes against humanity, and violations of the laws or customs of war. In 6,073 paragraphs is explained the role of the RS Army, as well as police structures, territorial defense, and regional and municipal authorities and other participants in joint criminal enterprises. The forms and methods of committing crimes committed in the municipalities of Bijeljina, Bratunac, Brčko, Foča, Rogatica, Sokolac, Višegrad, Vlasenica and Zvornik in eastern Bosnia are described; Banja Luka, Bosanski Novi, Ključ, Prijedor and Sanski Most in the Autonomous Region of Krajina (“ARK”); Hadžići, Ilidža, Novi Grad, Novo Sarajevo, Pale and Vogošća in the area of Sarajevo, and precise ways of carrying out a comprehensive joint criminal enterprise, but also joint criminal enterprises related to Srebrenica (genocide), Sarajevo (terrorizing citizens with sniper fire and shelling), and hostage-taking (UNPROFOR international peacekeepers). The first-instance verdict found Karadzic guilty of 10 of the 11 counts in the indictment. Both the Prosecution and the Defense for the Accused appealed the Trial Chamber's judgment, and the second-instance proceedings continued. On March 20, 2019, the Appeals Chamber issued a final verdict sentencing Radovan Karadžić to life imprisonment. The verdict found him guilty of persecution from a territory that Bosnian Serbs considered to be claiming the right, sniping and shelling of Sarajevo, taking UNPROFOR members hostage and genocide in Srebrenica. Both Trial and Appeals Chambers acquitted Karadzic of genocide committed in seven Bosnian municipalities (Bratunac, Foca, Kljuc, Prijedor, Sanski Most, Vlasenica and Zvornik) committed in 1992.

(1936-1939) and is an extension of the already published works by the same author: ?Our Reality? in the forties of the twentieth century, Twilight of lyric poetry in ?Our Reality? and the philosophical background of ?Our Reality?, the journal of literature, science, art and all the social and cultural issues. In addition to numerous critical articles about the old and new literary creations of writers who have worked in the interwar period, or those whose ideas were in line with program definition of this magazine, in ?Our Reality? are systematically published and peer reviews on literature and other arts, and are parallel presented as literary, theater, art, music and the film critique. Interesting views of the editorial and other staff of ?Our Reality? In this paper, we consider a Cournot duopoly, in which any firm does not know the marginal costs of production of the other player, as a Bayesian game. In our game, the marginal costs depend on two infinite continuous sets of states of the world. We shall study, before the general case, an intermediate case in which only one player, the second one, shows infinitely many types. Then, we shall generalize to the case in which both players show infinitely many types depending on the marginal costs, where the marginal costs are given by the nature and each actual marginal cost is known only by the respective player. We find, in both cases, the general Nash equilibrium.

Abstract The aim of the study was to determine the radon permeability coefficient of insulating building materials. Eleven insulating materials were tested. A research setup was developed and it was as follows: a tested material was tightly set on the receiver box’s hole and placed into the radon chamber. The measurements showed that for various insulating materials, radon permeability coefficient varies from 1.26 × 10−10 m2/s for film-like materials to 9.95 × 10−8 m2/s for roofing papers. According to our calculations of all insulating materials, the foil-type insulating materials to ensure the best protection against radon flow from the ground. Comparison of different types of building materials shows that the insulating building materials ensure better radiological protection than regular building constructions materials.

Abstract Radon and its daughters are one of the most important background sources for low-background liquid scintillator (LS) detectors. The study of the diffusion behavior of radon in the LS contributes to the analysis of the related background caused by radon. Methodologies and devices for measuring radon's diffusion coefficient and solubility in materials are developed and described. The radon diffusion coefficient in the LS was measured for the first time and the solubility coefficient was also obtained. In addition, the radon diffusion coefficient in the polyolefine film which is consistent with data in the literature was measured to verify the reliability of the diffusion device.

Great shifts ‐ genuine and radical transformation ‐ have been shaping the economy and business environment in recent decades. The world is going to be too tough and competitors too ingenious as companies are shaken loose from traditional ways of conducting business. Therefore, the old principles no longer work in the age of Globalization. Based on her research, Dr Radović Marković tried to make a profile of a successful organization which will be in the best way adopted to business environment in the new economy. Namely,in order to get a complete picture how the winning organization will look like in the future, the author concluded that the successful companies in the future will be the ones which are wise enough to harness the full potential of the entire organization in the rapidly changing business environment .It means that the winners will be the unbridled firms that are responsive to challenges and adroit in both creating opportunities and capturing them. In other words, to match the business environment that is more networked within and among companies, the ability to manufacture value will have to be distributed across the company to a much greater extent than in the past. Under these circumstances, managers need to transform themselves, too. They need to have a better framework for thinking about and understanding organizational change. Additionally, continuous learning is the key competency required by any organization that wants to survive and thrive in the newknowledge economy. Market champions keep asking learning questions, keep learning how to do things better, and keep spreading that knowledge throughout their organization. Knowledge organizations obtain competitive advantage from continuous learning, both individual and collective, concluded Dr.Radović Marković. The author also stresses that it is necessary to determine general personal knowledge and education, then to examine knowledge or various specializations in certain areas and lastly to identify their skills. Recent researches in the USA show that business owners who were not educated enough for the business in which they were engaged, were not successful (80 % of their businesses failed during the first year of their existence). On the opposite, those entrepreneurs who were educated and who showed constant interest in improving their activities have increased their business success by 60 % after the completion of the basic training programs for entrepreneurship and management. Therefore the author pointed out that more highly skilled workforce should be beneficial to organizations. Additionally, the human capital approach reflects the view that the market value of the firm increasingly depends on intangible rather than tangible resources. The three main components of human capital are described as a) early ability, b) qualifications and knowledge acquired through education and c) skills, competencies and expertise through on‐and off‐the‐job training. This would suggest that individual capability is enhanced by greater qualifications and higher skill levels. If this can be assessed and used in good effect in the firm then better human capital should, ceteris paribus, enhance organizational performance. Better organizational performance should, in turn, translate into better national performance. Finally, the author concluded that we should further recognize that we are living in the globalization era, or the Global Age. From the viewpoint of a product life cycle, we are in the introductory phase of globalization because we are in the early stages of the digital revolution that is creating the technologies that are enabling real time relationships among dispersed individuals and organizations. To meet constantly changing conditions and demands, business has to transcend boundaries to get what it needs regardless of where it exists—geographically, organizationally and functionally.

Abstract To date, the US Environmental Protection Agency has not published guidance for radon testing, diagnostics, or mitigation within large, non-residential buildings. Current research indicates that large buildings may contain construction features or mechanical systems that could inhibit the installation or operation of a mitigation system. Health and safety issues such as asbestos and fire codes may further interfere with the installation process. Studies also show that elevated radon can be restricted to a particular area or room within a building and not be uniformly distributed. A four-step, sequential protocol has been developed to address these issues and facilitate large building radon mitigation.

This work aims to evaluate the application of optical and X-ray spectroscopy methods to determine the effect of alpha-emitting radionuclides on the properties of solid-state nuclear track detectors (SSNTD) based on nitrocellulose during their detection. The proposed estimation methods are alternative methods to standard technologies, making it possible to determine the concentration of radon and its decay products without the chemical etching of film detectors and subsequent direct counting of the formed latent tracks from interacting particles. During the research, it was found that the use of optical spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction methods makes it possible to qualitatively determine the irradiation effect on changes in the properties of film detectors when α-particles with different energies pass through them. At the same time, a comparison of the data of optical spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and the visualization of latent tracks after chemical etching made it possible to establish that a part of the registered α-particles in living quarters has an energy of less than 2.5 MeV, which is not enough to pass through the polymer film of the detector, as a result of which well-like tracks are formed. An increase in the intensity of the interference bands in the region above 700 nm and a decrease in the intensity of diffraction reflection characterized the changes in optical transmission. The penetration of the α-particles through the detecting film decreases the film’s transmission capacity, forming an anisotropic change in diffraction reflections associated with a change in the film’s structure and defective fractions distorting the molecular structure.

Cilj je ovoga rada prikaz proizvodnje sirovog čelika u Republici Hrvatskoj u razdoblju od 1954. do 2020. godine. Metodologija rada uključivala je analizu sirovina za proizvodnju čelika, tehnoloških procesa, asortimana čeličnih proizvoda, znanstvenoistraživački i stručni rad te visokoškolsko obrazovanje iz metalurgije čelika.Čelik je najvažniji metalni materijal koji se može definirati kao deformabilna slitina željeza s maksimalno 2 mas. % ugljika. Pored željeza i ugljika, čelik sadrži poželjne (mangan, krom itd.) i nepoželjne primjese (sumpor, fosfor, kisik, vodik itd.). Primarna sirovina za proizvodnju čelika je bijelo sirovo željezo koje se do sredine 1991. godine proizvodilo u visokim pećima Željezare Sisak. Čelični otpad je sekundarna sirovina koja se relativno lako prerađuje u čelik pretaljivanjem. Sirovi čelik (ugljični i niskolegirani) u Republici Hrvatskoj proizvodio se u nekadašnjim željezarama u Sisku i Splitu. Proizvodna postrojenja za izradu čelika su Siemens-Martinove (Željezara Sisak) i elektrolučne peći (Željezara Sisak i Željezara Split). Utvrđeno je da je u razdoblju od 1954. do 2020. u Republici Hrvatskoj proizvedeno oko 9,34 Mt čelika.Proizvodnja čelika u Siemens-Martinovim pećima temeljila se na izradi čelika u tzv. otvorenom ognjištu primjenom predgrijanoga zraka i goriva uz proces regeneracije. Za proizvodnju čelika u elektrolučnim pećima toplinska se energija osigurava primarno iz električnoga luka između grafitnih elektroda i čeličnoga otpada.Proizvodni program Željezare Sisak primarno je bio usmjeren na proizvodnju čeličnih cijevi (bešavnih i šavnih), dok se u Željezari Split proizvodio tzv. betonski čelik za građevinsku industriju (građevinska armatura, žica itd.). Danas se čelik proizvodi u moderniziranoj elektrolučnoj peći (uz primjenu postupaka sekundarne metalurgije: lonac-peć i vakuumsko otplinjavanje) u talijanskoj firmi ABS Sisak d.o.o. koja od 2012. godine djeluje u okviru grupacije Danieli.U okviru znanstvenoistraživačkoga i stručnoga rada realizirani su brojni nacionalni i međunarodni projekti, objavljeno je niz članka u časopisima i zbornicima radova konferencija, izrađeno je 110 stručnih elaborata, izdan je sveučilišni udžbenik pod naslovom Metalurgija čelika u dva izdanja (2005. i 2006.), izrađeno je nekoliko priručnika itd. Visokoškolsko obrazovanje iz metalurgije čelika odvija se od ak. god. 1962/63. (na početku na Metalurškom odjelu u Sisku Tehnološkog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu), a od 1979. godine do danas na Metalurškom fakultetu u Sisku kao jedinoj znanstvenonastavnoj instituciji u Republici Hrvatskoj iz polja metalurgije.

Resumen
The article discusses the earliest, mostly lost works known only through archival photographs, and the early preserved works by Rudolf Valdec (8 March 1872, Krapina – 1 February 1929, Zagreb) who, apart from RobertFrangeš-Mihanović, was Croatia’s first modern sculptor. These works were created upon Valdec’s return from studying at Vienna and Munich, in the period between 1896 to 1898, that is, prior to the exhibition CroatianSalon where they were displayed. The findings about his earliest, previously unknown, works have been gathered through research in archives and old journal articles which mention them. At the same time, Valdec’s early works are not only well-known but famous, for example the relief Love, the Sister of Death (Ljubav sestra smrti, 1897), Magdalena (1898) and Memento Mori (1898). These reliefs and sculptures in the round demonstrate Valdec’s skill in sculptoral modelling and provide evidence that he was a sculptor of good technical knowledge andcraftsmanship. They also show the thoroughness of his education at Vienna’s K. K. Kunstgewerbeschule des Österreichischen Museums für Kunst und Industrie where he studied under Professor August Kühne, and at the Königliche Bayerische Akademie der bildenden Künste in Munich where he was supervised by Professor Syrius Eberle. It is difficult to follow Rudolf Valdec’s continuity as a sculptor because his student works have not been preserved and neither have some of the earliest works he made when he returned to Zagreb. Only a small number of previously unknown or unpublished photographs have been found which show the works which have been irretrievably lost. These works of unknowndimensions were not signed and are therefore considered as preparatory studies for more large-scale works from the earliest phase of his career. These are the reliefs of Apollo made for the pediments of the Pavilion of the Arts (Umjetnički paviljon) at Zagreb which was designed by Floris Korb and Kálmán Giergl, the Hungarian historicist architects, to house the Croatian displays at the Millenial Exhibition at Budapest in 1896. A year later, in 1897, the iron frame of the pavilion was transported to Zagreb.The bid to carry out the work was won by the Viennese architects Herman Helmer and Ferdinand Fellner, but the actual construction was done by the Zagreb architects Leo Hönisberg and Julio Deutsch under thesupervision of the city’s engineer Milan Lenuci. Valdec was entrusted with the making of reliefs illustrating the hymn to Apollo (Apollo of Delphi, Apollo Pythoctonos, and Apollo Musagetes). These three bas-reliefs werenever affixed to the pediments of the Pavilion of the Arts because the City Council did not authorize the execution due to a lack of funds. However, they were displayed at the Millenial Exhibition at Budapest and the Croatian Salon in 1898, and contemporary critics praised them as successful works of the young Valdec. The first relief depicts the Apollo of Delphi (hymn to Apollo) holding a severed head in his raised left hand. The second relief depicts Apollo Musagetes next to a shoot of a laurel tree(the symbol of Daphne) with a lyre in his left hand. The third relief shows Apollo Pythoctonos who, in a dynamic movement, is stringing his silver bow and shooting an arrow into the gaping mouth of a fire-breathing dragon.In his youth, Valdec produced works which embodied fear, anxiety, pessimism, restlessness and bitterness, all corresponding to the general tendencies of the fin de siècle. In 1899 he made Pessimism (Pesimizam), a work only known through its mention in the press by the critic M. Nikolić. Many other youthful works from the period between 1885 to 1889 have also been lost. These were: Passion, Christ, and Love (Muka, Krist, and Ljubav, 1896-1896) which were displayed at the Millenial Exhibitionin Budapest, Altar of the Saviour (Spasiteljev žrtvenik), Lucifer, Per Aspera ad Astra, Kiss (Cjelov), Christ Salvator (Krist Salvator), Hymn to Apollo (Apolonova himna), Apollo Phoebus (Apolon Phoebus), Ridi Pagliaccio, and Jesus (Isus). Our research has yielded photographs of theworks Per Aspera ad Astra and Christ Salvator, both of 1898. All the work from his youthful phase is in the Art Nouveau style, in harmony with the dominant stylistic trends in Vienna, Munich and central Europe, which,unsurprisingly, attracted Valdec too. In his desire to express his feelings and spiritual condition, as can be seen in the works like Per Aspera ad Astra, Valdec reveals the stamp of the Art Nouveau symbolism.Although Valdec’s earliest and a number of his early works have mostly been lost, those that have been preserved are made of plaster and bronze (now at the Collection of Plaster Casts of the Croatian Academy ofArts and Sciences in Zagreb), and belong to the most significant works of Croatian modern sculpture. The works in question are the relief sculptures Love, the Sister of Death (1897), Memento Mori (1898) and Magdalena(1898). The relief Love, the Sister of Death represents the first example of symbolism and stylization which were a novelty in modern sculpture in Croatia. The relief of Magdalena is, regardless of the fierce criticism on account of its nudity published by the priest S. Korenić in Glas koncila, a master-piece not only because it represents an excellent nude but also because of the psychological and philosophical expression it radiates. It is one of the best reliefs in Croatian sculpture in general. The relief Memento Mori features the first and only example of Valdec’s self-portrait rendered in profile, in which he depicted himself as a fool. The busts of Plato (Platon) and Aristotle (Aristotel) are considered to be first portraitscommissioned by Iso Kršnjavi. They were made in 1898 and set up on the wings of the building which housed the seat of the Department of Theology and Teaching in 10 Opatička Street, at the head of which was Kršnjavi. Valdec made the busts of these two Greek philosophers in the style of Roman naturalistic portraits.

Abstract. Determination of radon concentrations in dwelling in Aceh region by using a passive method has been conducted. In this research, area considered was divided into several sections called grid. Each grid represents an area of 60 km x 60 km in which, depend on public response, 6-10 passive radon monitors were installed. The number of passive radon monitors installed in Aceh is 200 units, and they can be taken back as many as 191 units or 95.50 %. The passive radon monitors have stayed in dwelling for 3-4 months and after period of the exposure, those radon monitors were taken back and brought to laboratory for further process, and then the track were read and the radon concentrations were calculated. Furthermore, data of radon concentration in dwelling and GPS location were put into MapInfo Software v.10.5 to create a map of radon concentration. The results of the analysis of the radon concentration in dwelling in Aceh demonstrate that the concentrations are in the range of 3.32 ± 0.23 Bq/m3 up to 68.30 ± 4.83 Bq/m3. This result was lower than the radon reference level determined by UNSCEAR, which was 300 Bq/m3. The data are useful in the regional extension and development plans, as well as the basis for health policy analysis due to the existence of radon in Indonesia. Furthermore, these data will become the contribution of Indonesia in the international world through UNSCEAR, IAEA and WHO. The data obtained can be used as partial data in creating a map of radon concentration in residents’ houses in Aceh, as a part of the map of radon concentration in Indonesia. Resumen
Abstract Indoor radon (222Rn), thoron (220Rn) and their progeny concentrations were detected in several homes in Dimapur district, Nagaland, utilizing Direct Radon and Thoron progeny sensors based on solid-state Nuclear Track Detectors (Type-2 film) and pinhole type radon-thoron discriminating dosimeters. For three separate seasons, the annual inhalation dose has been determined in 80 residences in the research regions. The residences were chosen to have various types of housing, such as concrete, semi-wood/bamboo and bamboo, with varying levels of ventilation that contribute to indoor 222Rn, 220Rn and their progeny. The inhalation dose in the survey area lies between 0.33 and 3.04 mSvy−1 and is within the reference value as suggested by ICRP, 2018.
