Resumen
This article gives a brief introduction to the status of radio astronomy within the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the body which coordinates global telecommunications. Radio astronomy entered the ITU arena in 1959 as a relative latecomer. By its nature, radio astronomy does not fit into the ITU system very well: regulators are hoping to facilitate commercial development of the radio spectrum, whereas astronomers are hoping to retain quiet frequency bands through which to study the Universe at ever higher sensitivity. Nevertheless there are major long-term goals which radio astronomers can realistically hope to achieve via the ITU in the years ahead, including more favourable frequency allocations and better regulatory protection. The prospects for radio astronomy at the forthcoming World Radio Conference WRC-2000 are reviewed. It is vital that radio astronomers participate in force at this WRC.

The increase in the number of cases of failure of information and telecommunication networks due to cyber attacks determines the need to protect them from this type of attacks. The issue of increasing cyber security in the conditions of conducting operations by groups of troops (forces) is very important. Due to the armed conflict in the East of Ukraine, the military-political instability in the Middle East, the struggle for influence on world financial and energy flows, the global military-political instability is intensifying. This is due to an increase in the number of communication devices in information and telecommunication networks, as well as an increase in the number of possible attacks that can be used to disrupt the operation of an information and telecommunication network. Considering the above, the object of research is a special purpose information and telecommunication system. The subject of research is cyber security of a special purpose information and telecommunication system. Classical methods of scientific knowledge, namely analysis and synthesis, were used during the research. The research identifies factors that affect cyber security in a special purpose information and telecommunications system. All this must be taken into account while planning and deploying a special purpose information and telecommunication system. The analysis of the consequences of the impact on the information and telecommunications system of special purpose of modern devices of defeat and the impact of devices of radio-electronic suppression and other factors was carried out. A typical special purpose information and telecommunication system does not fully meet the requirements for constant readiness to ensure the management of troops (forces), stability, mobility and throughput. A formalized description of the task of improving cyber security in a special purpose information and telecommunications network is provided. The components that affect the level of cyber security of the special purpose information and telecommunication network during the group's operations have been established. The impact of the specified conditions and factors must be reflected: in the planning documents during the planning of the deployment and operation of the group's information and telecommunications system; in the software, during operational management.

The transmission of traffic either in form of voice or data from a source to destination over a transmission media such as fiber cable or digital microwave radio is termed telecommunication. The telecommunication is classified into three categories namely: Access network, core network and transmission system. The access network directly provides network services to the subscribers. The core network does the routing or switching of traffic from the source to destination over the transmission media while the transmission system provides the media through which the traffic is transmitted from source to the destination. In this study, an automated web-based application name an E- Telecommunication Information System (ETIS) will be designed and developed to provide accuracy and consistence of network data, reduce Mean Time To Restore (MTTR) faulty equipment, increase revenues from cell sites and improve customers satisfaction in the telecommunication industry. Qualitative research approach and qualitative research method will be adopted so as to achieve reliable objectives of the system.

The features of the application of information and telecommunication technologies in high-tech enterprises are examined in order to increase the efficiency of production activities. It is determined that the basis of telecommunication technologies is the procedure for information exchange and data transfer. Telecommunication technologies provide remote transmission of all forms of information, including data, voice, video, between computers via various types of communication lines. Analysis of the results of the classification of information technologies and areas for improving information support in the production of high-tech products allowed us to identify trends in the development of modern information technologies. These trends are due to the dynamics of the development of industrial enterprises and the external environment, which leads to functional changes in the management system of a high-tech enterprise and provides significant economic growth in developed countries. The main promising means for data transmission are the Internet, wireless mobile radio networks, laser and fiber-optic communication lines. The most important task of telecommunication technologies in the field of economics is electronic exchange. This indicates the importance of the telecommunications aspect in the functioning of the information system. Telecommunication technologies that provide data transfer, make it possible to implement a continuous exchange of information through global networks. Modern telecommunication technologies are widely used in creating network options for information technology. It was determined that a significant achievement of telecommunication technologies was the possibility of real-time control of financial, banking, trading and other operations regardless of the territorial location of their participants. Telecommunication technologies are becoming the elements that informally unite the vast territory of Russia.

GSM-Railways (GSM-R), which is evolutionary railway mobile communication technology, are gradually replacing analogue radio systems. Although GSM-R is an impossible achievement in terms of European railway interoperability, from a telecommunication point of view, it is successive technology. This study present the transfer of a telecommunication standard to another railways and it studies whether the adoption of an upgraded version of the GSM standard (GSM‐R) turned out to be an efficient choice. The transfer and deployment of GSM‐R is technically importance to the success of another European railway project. The introduction of the new signaling system rests on achieving interoperability in radio‐communication.The study will focus on the GSM-R part of the ERTMS system and its interworking with ETCS.

The telecommunication sector mainly comprises operators, vendors, and regulators. In Indonesia, tele- communications operator companies tend to decrease profits from the first quarter of 2017 to the third quarter of 2018. This condition is due to the tight competition of telecommunication service providers, high operational costs, and digital transformation that does not provide substantial revenue for the company. Telecommunica- tions operators need other service options that can expand target market segmentation. It aims to open up a new blue ocean as a new source of income. The world is getting closer to massive communication technology, so high-speed communication is needed. Therefore, telecommunications operators can open new service options based on the visible light spectrum as their communication resources. This option can be integrated with ambient lighting, a wide spectrum ranging from radio waves, and greater bandwidth, making visible light suitable for IoT- 5G services. This research aims to design a wireless visible light communication business model. Several frame- works are used, such as the magic triangle of St. Gallen, Osterwalder Business Model Canvas, and PESTLE analysis. The business model design results in a business model with B2B market segmentation being the main focus and B2C market segmentation to acquire retail customers.

The article discusses ways to optimize the performance of information communication systems, which includes increasing spectral efficiency and reliability while minimizing delay and energy consumption due to the full integration of communication and scanning services. The functioning algorithm of the integrated scanning and communication system and the organization scheme of the communication mode using the scanning process based on the proposed generalized model of the integrated scanning and data transmission system are considered. Ways to improve the efficiency of telecommunication systems due to the joint use of communication and scanning tools with the best compromise between scanning characteristics and the bandwidth of the transmission channel are considered. Peculiarities of improving wireless communication systems with regard to high data transfer rates, low latency and wide connection possibilities are studied. In particular, access to other system functions, such as scanning/visualization and localization, is justified. Due to the considered innovative applications, the possibility of increasing the performance of the integrated wireless scanning and communication system (ISAC) is determined. The researched positioning process in 5G is proposed to be expanded due to additional detection functions, in particular with the use of new metrics such as accuracy and resolution. New KPIs in 6G networks are considered, replacing the KPI of positioning accuracy in 5G. As a result, key performance indicators based on different application scenarios are proposed, the accuracy of which should be from 1 to 10 cm, and the resolution should be up to 1 mm. The potential of the new ISAC technology was investigated, in particular, the features of the coexistence of communication and scanning modules in an integrated solution at the system level and methods of increasing the efficiency of coexistence at the system level were considered; justification of a positive result from an integrated system solution for communication and scanning services; advantages and disadvantages of existing communication and scanning systems with implemented integration at the system level. The obtained results of research on the integration of communication and scanning means, in particular: the analysis of the performance of generalized ISAC networks and the conclusions about the fundamental limits of performance obtained for a simple structure made it possible to determine the best compromise between the characteristics of scanning and the bandwidth of the communication channel, provided an opportunity to create practical schemes, which approximate a compromise of waveforms, coding tables, structures and protocols.

Currently, in areas of large cities there is a steady trend towards an increase in the spatial density of telecommunications systems. Saturation of the radio spectrum with analogue and digital systems used to solve problems of radio communication and television allows on their basis improving the technologies for semi-active radar detecting and determining the coordinates of air objects. The introduction of radar surveillance using transmitters not intended for radar purpose is often called a semi-active radar using outside or “parasitic” emission sources. The advantages of the systems are the minimization of the deployment costs, low operational energy costs, a low probability of establishing distortions, stealth operation, environmental friendliness and lack of requirements for radio frequency resource allocation. The relatively large elevations of the antennas of communication and television transmitters with the existing emitted power create favorable conditions for the detection of low altitude air objects. The digital signals of modern telecommunications systems have a spectrum width that provides acceptable resolution and accuracy for measuring the full range and angular coordinates. In general, a system of this type is a poly-static (multi-static) system consisting of one or more radiation sources and one or more receiving positions scattered in space. The promising task such systems solve along with airspace control is air traffic control. The article considers options for determining the rectangular coordinates of air objects in a system of bistatic radar stations using radio emission from external sources for target detection. The variants of the location of air objects with different composition of primary measurements of coordinates and a number of transmitting positions are considered. Analytical expressions are given for calculating the projections of the target velocity vector on the axis of the Cartesian coordinate system. The accuracy of airborne positioning for multi-static radar systems of this type is estimated.

M2M is a concept and a general term for all technologies that enhance the communication and network capabilities of machines and equipment. It is a combination of different types of communication technologies. M2M enables all devices and users to share information, saving operation time and improving work efficiency. M2M is not a simple data transmission, but it is an intelligent and interactive communication between machines. Even if no real-time signal is sent, the machine will actively communicate according to the established program and select intelligently according to the obtained data. The communication system refers to the general term of the technology that completes the information transmission function. The modern communication system is mainly realized by the propagation of electromagnetic waves in free space or the transmission mechanism in the guiding medium. When the wavelength of the electromagnetic wave reaches the light wave range, such a telecommunication system is called an optical communication system, and the communication system in the other electromagnetic wave range is called an electromagnetic communication system, abbreviated as a telecommunication system. The purpose of this paper is to explore the study of wireless data sharing method for M2M mobile telecommunication systems in the 5G era. It is expected that the new algorithm will make the wireless resource allocation more reasonable and improve the resource utilization rate. The performance of the deterministic measurement matrix proposed in this paper is close to or even better than that of the random measurement matrix. The M-SP algorithm greatly improves the performance of the SP algorithm. The experimental results of this paper show that when the number of microbase stations is 10, the energy consumption of the direct algorithm is 175000 W, the energy consumption of the indirect algorithm is 350000 W, and the energy consumption of the direct algorithm is much smaller than that of the indirect algorithm.

The article reflects the views of the authors on the method for the operational calculation of the indicator of the functioning of special-purpose information and telecommunication networks of the tactical level of control according to the criterion of "network availability". Improvement of weapons and military equipment, forms and methods of combat, as well as a change in views on command and control, put forward ever more stringent requirements for the information and telecommunication system in general and for its elements in particular. The problems of development, planning of combat use and operation of information and telecommunication networks of the tactical control level are their heterogeneity, since they use heterogeneous transmission systems (radio and wire) together. The characteristic features of the planning, deployment and operation of information and telecommunication networks of the tactical control level are a high degree of uncertainty in the characteristics of their functioning and the lack of initial data in planning, which necessitates the improvement of the methodological basis for conducting operational calculations. Based on the analysis of ITU-T recommendations, scientific publications and the practice of combat use of the defense forces, it becomes clear that the operational calculation of individual criteria and indicators of the functioning of information and telecommunication systems of the tactical control level needs to be improved, since these systems have their own characteristic features. The material presented in the article makes it possible to develop new approaches to solving the problem of a reasonable calculation of the required bandwidth of the access node of the information and telecommunications network of the tactical control link. The significance and value of this study lies in the fact that in the conditions of continuous improvement of the forms and methods of warfare, high dynamism of changes in the states of information and telecommunication systems of the tactical control level, the correct choice of the apparatus for assessing the decisions made should play a decisive role in shortening the deployment planning cycle and sustainable functioning of the system management.

Civil users of the NAVSTAR Global Positioning System (GPS) in Hungary occasionally experience interference at the 1575.42-MHz GPS signal frequency. As the application of the GPS technique spreads rapidly in our country, radio frequency interference (RFI) should be considered a serious threat. The new geodetic control network (OG-PSH) in Hungary is based on GPS measurements and incorporates more than 1100 sites. The paper reports the experiences gained during the establishment of the network. Interference sources were tracked to ground-based digital data transmissions for telecommunications, which operate mostly in the Western part of Hungary. Telecommunication regulations exceptionally allow such transmissions in specified countries. In order to warn potential GPS users, the interference sources are being mapped.

Energy harvesting is the process of harvesting energy from external sources such as solar energy, heat, wind and electromagnetic waves / radio frequencies. dimension. Research on harvesting energy needs to be developed because the use of non-renewable energy is increasingly limited. The use of radio frequency (RF) as a source of energy for harvesting is an effort to create environmentally friendly energy. This is due to the growing use of telecommunications technology. Various studies have been conducted by harvesting RF from various telecommunication signals and broadcasting media (AM / FM, TV / DTV, GSM signals, Wi-Fi signals). The purpose of writing this article is to study literature on the use of harvesting energy, especially those originating from radio / RF frequencies. A simple harvesting energy harvesting system consists of an antenna and a voltage rectifier circuit. The antennas used for RF energy harvesting have different designs according to the type of signal captured, including using periodic log antennas, archimedean spiral antennas, patch antennas, dipole patch antennas and vivaldi antennas. The energy yield obtained from the energy harvesting process with radio frequency sources tends to be small in the milliwatt scale (1.17 µW / cm2 - 20VDC) depending on the type of antenna and radio frequency used (0.3 - 27.5 GHz) and can be applied to low power electronic devices.

The main task is to ensure interference-resistant radio communication on a larger area of deployment of its troops (forces). The influence on the system of control of military units and weapons by conducting electronic warfare is an integral part of modern confrontation of any scale. Accordingly, an important direction in modern conflicts is the confrontation of radio-electronic systems. Against the background of the rapid development and implementation of modern information technologies, automated systems, and global telecommunication networks in all spheres of society, a set of fundamentally new problems arose in the field of protecting the radio communication system of troops (forces) from the enemy's radio-electronic influence. Modern complexes (means) of radio-electronic intelligence and radio suppression have characteristics that allow performing radio suppression and intelligence tasks while remaining undetectable. The task of ensuring the necessary indicators of immunity, namely, immunity and immunity of the radio communication system in such conditions is the main task in the organization of the radio communication system.

Introduction. The article develops a dynamic expert system (ES) based on a model of a system for monitoring the technical condition of signal generators in telecommunication systems. In the proposed system, decision-making is based on a constant analysis of the parameters of the time-frequency parameters of signals generated by generators in infotelecommunication systems. The purpose of the work is to develop an expert system based on a model of a system for monitoring the technical condition of signal generators in infotelecommunication systems. Research results: In the course of the work, an analysis of expert systems was carried out, a dynamic expert system was selected from the real-time communication classification, the structure of the expert system was proposed, each of its elements was considered, an expert system was developed that allows predicting changes in the parameters of transmission channel generators in telecommunication systems, and the resulting expert system was tested based on two assumptions, which allows us to draw conclusions about the correctness of the development. For this purpose, the result of processing the input data is given based on two assumptions – the law of normal distribution and the uniform distribution law. On the basis of this, it can be concluded that the proposed developed version of the ES construction and the software product implementing it is working. The expert system makes it possible to analyze incoming data in the current time, as well as generate an output.

Through the analyze on the technology, information data processing of logistics unified information system, the optimization Algorithm of Shell Sort in logistics unified information system data processing is proposed. Things-Based Logistics Unified Information System is an integrated system which combine with integration of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification, RFID), infrared sensors, global positioning systems, laser scanners and other telecommunications integrated fusion machine (Computer Telecommunication Integration, CTI) technology. The improved Shell sort algorithm is used in system data processing, so that multiple devices, multi-technology, multi-interface, and distributed widely disorder high-speed logistics systems to available for the heterogeneous applications and fast data processing. It improves multiple-concurrent data processing. Based on JAVA programming of Shell sort, to build and test a system algorithm, which support the system with a high-speed interactive logistics business processing capabilities. The design and implementation feasibility of Shell sort algorithm is proved in Internet of Things-Based Logistics Unified Information System through the output of test results.

The article presented results of researches conducted by the team of authors devoted to the possibilities of creation for the first time in Ukraine the real prerequisites for solving the fundamental problem of constructing digital telecommunication systems with the use of terahertz technologies. The necessity of transition to the use of the terahertz frequency range substantiated during the deployment of future telecommunication systems of ultra-high bandwidth. The analysis of characteristics of the path of signal propagation and determination of signal losses in conditions of operation of the radio relay system in the terahertz frequency range is carried out. The conducted analysis has shown that in the frequency range of 30-300 GHz, the most important types of fading that should consider during the design are fading due to the easing of the signal by hydrometeors and fading due to the absorption of the radio signal in gases, fading due to the influence of the antenna pattern. It determined that the work of the radio relay lines in the terahertz range allows practically not to take into consideration the refraction and interference of electromagnetic waves reflected from interference in the zone of radio signal propagation, which arises especially in conditions of dense urban development. This is due primarily to the fact that the terahertz waves have a low ability to "bend" the noise, and secondly, at the current frequency of 30 to 300 Hz apply at relatively small distances (up to 5 km), which allows for avoiding spatial planning interference to the zone of direct visibility of antennas and the first Fresnel zone. It considered the main factors that lead to the emergence of fading in radio relay communication lines. It is shown that in the terahertz range the greatest influence on the energy potential of the radio-relay lines is attenuating in hydro meteors and gases. The terahertz frequency range areas allocated that is most suitable for application in radio relay communication lines. The principles of formation of signal-code construction considered methods and new technical solutions for choosing the type of signal construction proposed in order to achieve the best bandwidth and performance in the channel of communication of a wireless gigabit system of transmission in the terahertz range. The physical simulation of the ultra high-speed shaper based on multifrequency multiplexing of the modulated OFDM digital streams has been carried out, bench tests and optimization have been carried out to achieve the maximum bandwidth of the digital data transmission channel in the Ethernet format using the developed software. The developed software and hardware allowed for the first time to reach the overall channel speed with a full duplex up to 1.2 Gb / s. On the basis of the generalization of the results of theoretical research and experimental work, the analysis of the existing radio relay element base, the design of the main nodes of the receiving and transmitting parts of a telecommunication system with a gigabit throughput in the frequency range 130-134 GHz, the structural scheme of the transmitting and receiving system of the system is developed: frequency mixer with subharmonic pumping, the heterodyne, which uses a highly stable reference quartz oscillator with a subsequent chain of multiplication and under power stage, bandpass filter using a thin metal plate in the E-plane of the waveguide channel 1.6x0.8 mm, horn antenna. It is presented the results of experimental studies of the main nodes of the receiving and transmitting parts of a telecommunication system with a gigabit throughput in the frequency range 130-134 GHz. Scientific novelty of the work consists in generalization and development of the theory of distribution, generation and measurement of terahertz signals, in the development of the method of multiple frequency multiplexing and generation of modulated OFDM digital streams in the terahertz frequency range and the development of the principles of functional design of the receiving and transmitting parts of a telecommunication system with a gigabit throughput in terahertz frequency range

Purpose This paper aims to introduce design challenges of modern telecommunication satellite antennas. The antenna farms accommodated on a satellite are systems of high complexity. From the radio frequency (RF) point of view, the most important design issues, e.g. high power applications in space (vacuum) or typical antenna scenarios (single/multi beam antennas), and their solution are considered. Design/methodology/approach The paper presents the application of electro-magnetic (EM) field simulation in the design and optimisation process. The design of a telecommunications satellite antenna splits into several areas, for which different types of EM field solvers are used. Findings The use of EM field solvers enables an accurate and efficient design approach of modern geostationary telecommunications satellite antennas. Due to the use of EM field solvers, an excellent agreement between predictions and measurement results on feed as well as antenna system level is achieved. Originality/value This paper gives an overview of state-of-the-art telecommunications satellite antenna architectures and their efficient RF design due to the use of EM field solvers. Typical high power effects and other design issues are explained. RF engineers are encouraged to work on this exciting topic to further improve the design process and to develop new satellite antenna and feed products.

Computationally-Efficient Design of a Dynamic System-Level LTE SimulatorThe Long-Term Evolution (LTE) is the next generation of current mobile telecommunication networks. LTE has a new flat radio-network architecture and a significant increase in spectrum efficiency. In this paper, a computationally-efficient tool for dynamic system-level LTE simulations is proposed. A physical layer abstraction is performed to predict link-layer performance with a low computational cost. At link layer, there are two important functions designed to increase the network capacity: Link Adaptation and Dynamic Scheduling. Other Radio Resource Management functionalities such as Admission Control and Mobility Management are performed at network layer. The simulator is conceived for large simulated network time to allow evaluation of optimization algorithms for the main network-level functionalities.

The paper presents the results of research on the use of machine learning in telecommunication networks and describes the basics of the theory of artificial intelligence. The impact of dynamic Bayesian network (DBN) and DNN on the development of many technologies, including user activity detection, channel estimation, and mobility tracking, is determined. The indicators of the effectiveness of communications based on the theory of information bottlenecks, which is at the junction of machine learning and forecasting, statistics and information theory, are considered. A neural network model that is pretrained for high-level tasks and divided into transmitter-side and receiver-side uses is investigated. The process of learning the model, which is performed after its adjustment, taking ino account the existing transmission channels, is considered. New ANN learning techniques capable of predicting or adapting to sudden changes in a wireless network, such as federated learning and multiagent reinforcement learning (MARL), are reviewed. The DBN model, which describes a system that dynamically changes or develops over time, is studied. The considered model provides constant monitoring of work and updating of the system and prediction of its behavior. Distributed forecasting of channel states and user locations as a key component in the development of reliable wireless communication systems is studied. The possibility of increasing the number of degrees of freedom of the generalized wireless channel G(E) in terms of: the physical propagation channel, the directional diagram of the antenna array and mutual influence, electromagnetic physical characteristics is substantiated. The impact of ultra-highresolution theory on the development of many technologies, including localization algorithms, compressed sampling, and wireless imaging algorithms, is also identified. Mathematical expressions for optimizing the functional characteristics of 5G/6G radio networks are presented using new, sufficiently formal and at the same time universal mathematical tools with an emphasis on deep learning technologies, which allow systematic, reliable and interpretable analysis of large random networks and a wide range of their network models and practical networks.

In order to maximize the efficiency of telecommunications equipment, it is necessary that the radio frequency (RF) power amplifier is situated as closely as possible to its compression point. This makes its response nonlinear, and therefore it is necessary to linearize it, in order to minimize the interference that nonlinearities cause outside the useful band (adjacent channel). The system used for this linearization occupies a high percentage of the hardware and software resources of the telecommunication equipment, so it is interesting to minimize its complexity in order to make it as simple as possible. This paper analyzes the differences between the laterally diffused MOSFET (LDMOS) and gallium nitride (GaN) power amplifiers, in terms of their nonlinearity graphs, and in terms of the greater or lesser difficulty of linearization. A correct choice of power amplifier will allow for minimization of the linearization system, greatly simplifying the complexity of the final design.

P/M/1, which models the service processes of self-similar GPRS packet traffic in GSM standard mobile telecommunication networks, including Pareto and limited Pareto distributions, and fBM/D/1/∝ type single-channel mass service system, which takes into account the self-similarity of this traffic, has been viewed. Development of telecommunication networks. has gone through many different stages of development to the current modern networks, which eventually resulted in a large number of different types of mobile telecommunication networks. One of such networks is GSM (Global system for mobile communication) standard mobile telecommunication networks. In these networks, the directions of rapid development of modern service services are observed recently, one of these directions is the GPRS (General packet radio service) superstructure service, which is considered the superstructure of the GSM mobile network and carries out the transmission of data in packets. Analytical models of these systems are developed based on them Analytical methods have been proposed for evaluating relevant quality of service characteristics such as the relative average waiting time of packets in these systems, average queue length, buffer volume, and packet dwell time in the system. As well as the nature of the dependence of the shape parameter of the Pareto distribution on the Herst parameter was determined based on the experiment.

One of the common problems faced by Telecommunication (TLC) companies is the lack of power supply, usually for those appliances with scarce chances of grid connection often placed in remote zones. This issue is more and more critical if the radio network has the specific task of guaranteeing the so-called “mission-critical communications”. This manuscript aims to propose and assess a viable solution to optimize the power supply and maintenance operations required to assure the proper functionality in such critical and remote sites. In particular, the main goals are defining a method to select the critical sites in an extensive and composite radio system and designing the hybrid power system in a way to improve the service availability and technical-economic benefits of the whole mission-critical TLC system. Finally, the proposed method and related procedures are tested and validated in a real scenario.

The laboratory testbed of a digital simplex radio-relay system of the terahertz range has been studied for the first time in practical terms. It consists of the receiver and transmitter parts of 130÷134 GHz frequency range and a digital modem with a channel data transmission of up to 1200 Mbps for a communication point-to-point distance under normal conditions within 1 km. It is shown that the proposed telecommunication system, which implements the concept of the creation of software-defined radio systems based on Wi-Fi technology, can be highly productive in the next generation mobile communication networks providing the appropriate transmission speeds, reliability, and security. It is studied the parameters of multichannel digital TV signal DVB-C standard when it is transmitted through the testbed of the transmitter and receiver parts of 130 GHz band. The results of the research showed that the application of lower part of terahertz frequency band (130 GHz) with a bandwidth of 24 MHz allows the transmission of three DVB-C television broadcasting channels with a total transport speed of 125 Mbit/s with a high subjective quality of TV programs. The results of the simulation of impulse ultrawideband (IR-UWB) signal transmission by the wireless link of terahertz band are presented. The results of researches of changes of IR-UWB Gaussian monocycle in the transmitter part and its reception by the receiver part of 130.4÷131.5 GHz terahertz band are presented for the first time. On the basis of the results of the research, the requirements for parameters of terahertz wireless link are formulated to ensure acceptable quality of ultrawideband impulse signals receiving. Development of the transmitter and receiver parts of radio relay system of the terahertz range has no direct current analogs in Ukraine. It can provide a significant breakthrough in the development of the telecommunications industry. The obtained research results will also contribute to the development of telecommunications-related industries, in particular: radio astronomy, inter-satellite communication, radar systems, medicine, etc.

By means of the application of technologies such as computer technology, telecommunication technology, autocontrol technology and modern agriculture technology, the automatic control system for irrigation can be realized. The system provides real-time monitoring for relevant parameters via sensors installed in field. All signals are delivered directly to a central controller through radio network. Based on the start and stop of pump unit and open and close of solenoid valve, the master computer can realize automatic irrigation and therefore provide a new water-saving equipment for the irrigation.

The transformation of the international system in the 1970s had remarkable consequences for East-West relations in the field of international radio communications. The two opposing blocs were compelled to join forces in an international system that was in a state of flux. Third World countries had started putting forward their demands for a “New International Information Order” and increasingly exerted pressure to achieve a reallocation of the spectrum for their own benefit. However, they were not able to reach their objectives at the World Administrative Radio Conference convened in 1979 by the International Telecommunication Union in order to reallocate the entire radio frequency spectrum. Expert groups from East and West cooperated closely on this issue, developing a coordinated strategy that enabled them to defend their shared interests.

We proposed an OFDM and watermarking based technology system for correspondent identity verification (CIVS) in military telecommunication digital channels. Correspondent personal identity signature (CPIS) is represented by digital watermark. The main idea of this system solution is to verify the end user who sends acoustic signal, e.g., speech, music, etc., via Internet, HF/UHF radio, modem, etc. OFDM modulation scheme is used to prepare secret digital signature. This signature is a single-use secret key used for correspondent verification, thus binary sequence of that key is changing for every session. We describe transmitter and receiver block scheme. The results of experiments for both ideal and degraded signals are described in details too. The results are summarized with comments and conclusion.

As the number of non-geostationary orbit (NGSO) satellites continues to grow, interference with other communication systems, including radio astronomy systems (RASs), is becoming increasingly critical. In this study, an interference simulation framework was developed to analyse the potential impact of NGSO systems on RAS in accordance with the relevant International Telecommunication Union (ITU) regulations and recommendations. In addition to the simulation of interference generated by individual NGSO satellite systems, the framework also supports the analysis of aggregate interference from multiple NGSO satellite systems. By inputting satellite system parameters, including constellation configuration, user distribution and beam scheduling strategy, the framework is able to obtain interference probability distributions for a typical RAS ground station at different latitudes and observation directions. The simulation results provide a reference for the analysis of interference from NGSO satellite systems to RASs, and can also be used to guide the development of strategies to mitigate harmful interference to RASs.

The structure of construction of a multiposition system (BS) of electromagnetic radiation influence on satellite broadband radio channels, consisting of synchronously operating spatially spaced low-power transceivers N_ts and having a fully connected topology network (similar to B) . As a result, it is possible to concentrate the radiating power in a given direction. By increasing the base of the transmission system, when its dimensions become comparable to the distance to the object under study, the wave front is no longer planar and the radiating power can be concentrated not only in the direction but also in the distance (focus in a certain area of space). Along with the N_ts collaboration mode, the transceivers of the satellite television telecommunication system can operate autonomously (independently of each other) and alternately, in accordance with the control law, which increases the flexibility of the BS operation. In addition, the use of several simultaneously working emitters can increase the range of BS. Reducing the power level of the signals emitted by individual positions increases the secrecy of the system, since the value of the resulting component of the electric field, determined by the geometric sum of the fields of individual emitters, will be high in a limited area of space, as well as electromagnetic compatibility with other electronic and electronic means one area in the common frequency band. The method of calculation of mutual interference with the sharing of frequencies of the satellite network and the multipoint satellite telecommunication system is presented and a practical experiment will be conducted to block the operation of the terrestrial satellite receiving station by external radio interference. The results of experimental studies have shown that the radiation power of this instance of the microwave blocking device is sufficient to block the operation of the terrestrial satellite receiving station at a distance of up to 30 km, in the presence of direct visibility between the antenna of the blocking device and the satellite receiving transceiver, which can have both a positive and a negative effect on the practical application of a microwave blocking device..

The article considers the possibility of developing a wireless telecommunication system of the terahertz band (THz), in which an impulse radio ultrawideband signal (IR-UWB) is used as an information carrier. Variants of the transmission and reception path constructions of the THz IR-UWB wireless communication system (WCS) are considered, taking into account the technical characteristics of the THz devices available on the telecommunication market. One of the main results is the block diagram of the IR-UWB WCS of the terahertz range development of the point–to–point type based on the heterodyning method. It is also important that already existing technical implementations of some THz blocks (subharmonic mixer, waveguides, antennas, etc.) of the transmitter and receiver devices allow us to determine which devices of the WCS require designing. The calculation of the energy budget of the THz IR-UWB WCS line for various types of IR-UWB signal modulation was also carried out, which made it possible to estimate the distance between corresponding stations under different conditions of the electromagnetic wave propagation environment. The proposed version of the radio communication system is of the point-to-point type using IR-UWB signal in the terahertz range. An assessment of the potential distance between the corresponding line-of-sight stations for different conditions of EMF propagation and types of performed IR-UWB modulation was carried out, which shows that for the ideal case of EMF propagation with an increase in the operating frequency, an increase in distance is observed, which is obviously because energy losses EMF in free space with increasing frequency is compensated by increasing the directivity of the transmitting and receiving antennas.

The article examines the technical modernization of Siberian radio communications and broadcasting during the war period. Under the conditions of a large-scale evacuation of industrial facilities and the population to the Siberian region as well as the organization of new telephone and telegraph highways in the eastern direction wire telecommunications worked at the limit of its capabilities and could not cope with the load. In these conditions radio communication was often the only means of communication. Among the evacuated enterprises deployed on the territory of Siberia most of them were the enterprises of the radio industry. One of the main problems faced by the Siberian radio communications, in addition to the shortage of qualified personnel, was the lack of backup equipment, which the front desperately needed. Another difficulty was the restructuring of the radial telecommunication system which entailed the modernization of the transmitters of the main radio communication. In the conditions of an acute shortage of material resources for civil radio communications radio communication activities had to be seriously limited. In general, it was necessary to temporarily abandon the program of continuous radio coverage of the country developed in the pre-war period. First of all, the radio stations were set up at enterprises, city and rural streets and squares, in clubs, libraries, etc. At the same time, as far as possible, the park of radio points was expanded and the operability of radio centers was maintained. Thanks to the mobilization of internal reserves and measures of an administrativerepressive nature in Siberian radio communications it was possible to strengthen the material and technical basis. The industrial production of radio products (mainly for military purposes) was launched in Siberia. However, the quality level of radio communication was low. Since the main efforts were aimed at meeting the needs of the front and the liberated regions the total power of the Siberian radio network has not yet been able to match a large territory of the region and the average power of broadcast transmitters has also remained low. Development of broadcast networks was primarily happened in cities. So, a significant disproportion between the density of radio coverage in urban and rural areas preserved and increased.

A method of transmitting alarm signals on a distributed public information and telecommunications network is presented, which allows for noise-resistant transmission of measuring information about the state of elements of a geographically distributed telecommunications structure of the department using decameter radio lines based on the use of linear-frequency-modulated, as well as discrete linear-frequency-modulated signals., this makes it possible to improve the noise immunity of the subsystem for remote monitoring of the state of a geographically distributed information and telecommunications network. The purpose of the work is to increase the noise immunity of accident signals on a telemetry system of a distributed network infrastructure operating in a complex interference situation and other destabilizing factors. Methods used: formation of a promising signal-code structure in radio channels of a telemetry system; the use of the mode of changing the operating frequency according to a pseudo-random law in the interests of transmitting measuring information. Novelty: increasing the capabilities of the remote monitoring subsystem by expanding the degrees of freedom of the operator of the telemetry system – auditory, visual and automatic reception of alarms. The result obtained is a graphical representation of the received binary parcels of the accident signals on a waterfall-type spectrogram, while instead of "dots" and "dashes" of the Morse code, linear-frequency-modulated or discrete-linear-frequency-modulated signals with a decreasing or increasing slope gradient are displayed.

MEMS (MicroElectroMechanical-Systems) technology applied to the field of Radio Frequency systems (i.e. RF-MEMS) has emerged in the last 10-15 years as a valuable and viable solution to manufacture low-cost and very high-performance passive components, like variable capacitors, inductors and micro-relays, as well as complex networks, like tunable filters, reconfigurable impedance matching networks and phase shifters, and so on. The availability of such components and their integration within RF systems (e.g. radio transceivers, radars, satellites, etc.) enables boosting the characteristics and performance of telecommunication systems, addressing for instance a significant increase of their reconfigurability. The benefits resulting from the employment of RF-MEMS technology are paramount, being some of them the reduction of hardware redundancy and power consumption, along with the operability of the same RF system according to multiple standards. After framing more in detail the whole context of RF MEMS technology, this paper will provide a brief introduction on a typical RF-MEMS technology platform. Subsequently, some relevant examples of lumped RF MEMS passive elements and complex reconfigurable networks will be reported along with their measured RF performance and characteristics.

Objective: To study the main approaches to organization of radio communication on high-speed railroad transport, to determine the requirements for functional capabilities and the structure of radio communication systems. Methods: The analysis of modern international and home practice in the sphere of radio telecommunication systems was applied for railway transport, on the basis of application strategy of interconnected indices’ complex, including reliability, availability, maintainability and safety (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety – RAMS) and cost (Life Cycle Cost – LCC) at all stages of transportation systems’ life cycle. Results: GSM-R standard was chosen as the basic one for organization of digital systems of engineering radio communication for high-speed mainlines. The choice was conditioned by the fact that the standard in question was developed for the purposes of railroad transport and is the basis for constructing European integrated railway radio enhanced network EIRENE (European Integrated Railway Radio Enhanced Network). Moreover, it was established that the most promising standard of radio communication for railway transport might be LTE (LTE-R) standard. Communication system capacity of the given standard, its applicability for the solution of the extensive range of railway radio communication tasks (including the task of providing customer radio communication) will make it possible to replace several different radio communication systems, solving specific functional tasks, by one which is more convenient and reliable. However, global and domestic experience of the standard in question application on railroad transport (including high-speed mainlines) has yet been insufficient, while the cost of LTE equipment is significantly higher compared to GSM-R standard. Practical importance: The requirements for functionality and structure of radio communication systems for high-speed networks were stated, including the requirements for digital systems of engineering radio communication (basic and reserved), the system of engineering on-line repair radio communication and digital wireless data communication system. Certain standards of radio communication allow for the realization of the given requirements.

A study of the parameters of the radio path was carried out to substantiate the possibility of expanding the integrated multi-level spectrum of 5G/6G and increasing the efficiency of the station equipment of the next generation information communication systems. The paper presents the results of research into the bandwidth of the transmission channel in the THz range, taking into account the transmission power and noise of the components of modern telecommunication systems, as well as the influence of atmospheric attenuation. The idea of ​​a new spectrum, possibilities and problems of using the THz range for both communication and scanning were presented. It also describes the process of modeling and measuring new channels along high-frequency bands, for scenarios with large aperture arrays, non-terrestrial networks, and scanning in millimeter and THz bands. Improved methods for solving technical problems identified in 5G systems, such as mobility and coverage, as well as implementation problems of telecommunications equipment, are identified. In particular, to facilitate the optimal design of radio technologies in 6G systems, it is necessary to model transmission channels with higher accuracy. In addition, to improve the transmission characteristics of millimeter waves, improvements are needed in the radio signal beamforming technology, in particular in beamforming during the scanning process. It is determined that the use of the millimeter range spectrum will be significantly improved due to the improvement of technologies related to materials, radio frequency components and signal processing. Thus, it becomes possible to achieve ultra-high data transfer speed and high-precision scanning resolution. A study of the theoretical foundations of the creation of new devices, the design of electronic, photonic and hybrid receivers, large-sized antenna arrays, gratings on a common crystal or case, and new technologies for the formation of materials for the manufacture of gratings, which ensure the rapid development of communication technologies in the THz range, was carried out. time identified the need for further research in the field of designing powerful high-frequency devices, new materials for antennas and RF transistors, receiver architecture, channel modeling, grating signal processing, and energy efficiency issues. The 6G radio path has been studied, which will contain new capabilities and provide new services using new wireless technologies. It is determined that the 6G system will include many new elements, such as new spectrum, new channels, new materials, new antennas, new computing technologies and new end devices. THz spectrometry at 6G has been found to have many potential applications in health care, industry, food quality control, and the environment, as the vibrational and rotational frequencies of most molecules lie in the THz range. THz spectrometry is of considerable interest due to its ability to provide continuous real-time information through dynamic, non-invasive, passive and non-contact measurements. Of particular note is that THz spectrometry provides results comparable to professional CT or MRI machines, but with a much safer and more portable functional process.

Future railway mobile communication system (FRMCS) merupakan sistem pensinyalan kereta cepat berbasis the fifth telecommunication generation new radio (5G NR) third generation partnership project (3GPP) TS 22.289 dan European telecommunication standard institute (ETSI) TR 103 459. Pergerakan kereta yang cepat mengakibatkan kerusakan sinyal akibat adanya pergeseran frekuensi yang dirasakan oleh penerima, sehingga mengganggu sistem komunikasi kereta cepat. Untuk mendukung pensinyalan kereta cepat yang baik dan berkapasitas besar, makalah ini mengusulkan single input multiple output (SIMO) dengan Doppler spread compensator (DSC) untuk memanfaatkan space diversity kanal antara transmitter dan receiver yang terletak di atas gerbong kereta. SIMODSC yang diusulkan memiliki dua antena array paralel yang berjarak 5? = 1.6 m di atas gerbong kereta. Evaluasi SIMO-DSC yang diusulkan dilakukan dengan rangkaian simulasi komputer untuk kinerja bit error rate (BER) terhadap signal to noise power ratio (SNR), frame error rate (FER) terhadap SNR, dan BER terhadap normalized Doppler spread ( fdTs) pada model kanal kereta Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SIMO-DSC mampu menghilangkan Eefek Doppler secara signifikan, dan meningkatkan performansi FRMCS meskipun pada kecepatan 1000 km/jam. A technique of synthesis of a wireless digital communication network with package switching, providing transfer of video messages of real time scale between elements of multipurpose information-operating system in conditions of high failure rate of central elements, is considered. As conceptual model of a telecommunication network – the network of the mixed structure, including multipurpose devices, constructed on the basis of standards of a broadband radio access with switching of packages and two interconnected levels of network interaction of elements (local and main) is accepted. The technique of synthesis of a wireless network is based on the multilevel, combined adaptation of a telecommunication network in the conditions of refusals of central elements, which primary goal is rational change of parameters, functions of network elements in close interrelation with purposeful transformation of structure of telecommunication system subnetworks. The main objective of carrying out the combined adaptation of the network consists in achievement of necessary throughput of communication system depending on degree of failure rate of central elements. Properties of multilevel adaptation were investigated in the course of realization of the combined (structurally-parametrical) synthesis with use of the aggregate approach of modelling of difficult technical systems. Efficiency of the specified technique is proven by the results of the imitating experiment with use of the aggregate model of a wireless network of data transmission with switching of packages, obtained previously. The experimental data, received at natural research of networks of a broadband radio communication on the basis of standards 802.11 b/g/n, have shown, that time of processing of packages of a message essentially depends on use of existing ways of adaptation. In particular, application of effective algorithms of adaptation (both parametrical and structural) will allow to reduce the time of finding of details (packages) in broadband communication devices by several times and, thereby, to provide demanded throughput of the network functioning in the conditions of refusals of central elements.

Abstract The results of the ongoing monitoring of the position of geostationary telecommunication satellite Eutelsat-13B (13° East) are presented in the article. The results were obtained using a radio engineering complex (RC) of four stations receiving digital satellite television and a data processing centre. The stations are located in Kyiv, Mukachevo, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv. The equipment of each station allows synchronous recording (by the GPS) of fragments of DVB-S signal from the quadrature detector output of the satellite television receiver. Samples of the complex signal are archived and sent to the data processing center through the Internet. Here three linearly independent slant range differences (Δr) for three pairs of the stations are determined as a result of correlation processing of received signals. Every second measured values of Δr are used to calculate Cartesian coordinates (XYZ) of the satellite in the coordinate system WGS84 by multilateration method. The time series of Δr, X, Y and Z obtained during continuous observations from March to May 2015 are presented in the article. Single-measurement errors of Δr, X, Y and Z are equal to 2.6 m, 3540 m, 705 m and 455 m, respectively. The complex is compared with known analogues. Ways of reduction of measurement errors of satellite coordinates are considered. The radio engineering complex could be considered a prototype of a system of independent ongoing monitoring of the position of geostationary telecommunication satellites.

Eye diagram used in a lot of radio and telecommunication application, but it can also be used in digital signal integrity. This kind of analysis is a common indicator of performance in digital transmission systems. As integration density and data rates increase, dispersive losses, reflections and crosstalk can severely degrade signal integrity. Fortunately, these effects are linear processes. Accordingly, simple, on-chip signal processing techniques can compensate for them. In this paper we introduce an approach to improve eye diagram for data transmission that indicate the signal strength by using adaptive Decision Feedback Equalizer (DFE) in receiver circuits of digital system. The simulation results are presented to validate the efficiency of the proposed method.

A quality monitoring system for telecommunication services is relevant for network operators because it can help to improve users’ quality-of-experience (QoE). In this context, this article proposes a quality monitoring system, named Q-Meter, whose main objective is to improve subscriber complaint detection about telecommunication services using online-social-networks (OSNs). The complaint is detected by sentiment analysis performed by a deep learning algorithm, and the subscriber’s geographical location is extracted to evaluate the signal strength. The regions in which users posted a complaint in OSN are analyzed using a freeware application, which uses the radio base station (RBS) information provided by an open database. Experimental results demonstrated that sentiment analysis based on a convolutional neural network (CNN) and a bidirectional long short-term memory (BLSTM)-recurrent neural network (RNN) with the soft-root-sign (SRS) activation function presented a precision of 97% for weak signal topic classification. Additionally, the results showed that 78.3% of the total number of complaints are related to weak coverage, and 92% of these regions were proved that have coverage problems considering a specific cellular operator. Moreover, a Q-Meter is low cost and easy to integrate into current and next-generation cellular networks, and it will be useful in sensing and monitoring tasks.

The intensive development of autonomous underwater robotic complexes is very important for the development of the World Ocean. One of the main problems of using underwater robotic complexes is an increase searching efficiency of underwater devices based on the integration of the capabilities of onboard radio-electronic systems of obtaining information in various physical fields. Analyzing the physical basis of the search, including the consideration of the environment of its conduct, objects, as well as detection tools, it can be noted that the result of the search operations of the same objects in the same water areas for various underwater robotic complexes depends on what means of detection they are equipped. The presence of a certain set of the technical means will specify the development of the optimal sequence of actions of the search algorithm. The creation of such algorithms in relation to the task of increasing the search potential of underwater robotics will determine the direction of the research that ensures the formation of an optimal system of underwater search. Efficient use of search resources substantiates the conclusion that radio-electronic means of submersibles forming the system of underwater search, include the number of devices functionally interconnected for its effective conduct. The specified combination is aimed at the formation of the so-called integrated search system, which provides an exchange of information between different channels of searching devices about all objects detected. The article provides proposals for the creation of integrated search systems taking into account practical experiments and experience in designing underwater vehicles capable to implement the optimal system of underwater search using laser technologies.

As the electronic sector has been developing, as well as the increasing number of motorcycle riders and its communities, the authors are interested in designing an assistive device for motorcycle drivers. This device is designed as an additional communication tool for the coordination between the drivers. For communication, it is necessary to create a communication system without interfering with other riders. Therefore, the authors are motivated to design " a prototype of a phase lock loop system on a communication device for motorcycle riders". Using radio frequency as a media, this device aid motorcycle riders to communicate with each other. In this research, the authors design and implement the prototype regarding its ability to receive communication through helmet having a lock loop phase system. The main aim of the research is creating a device that can be used as an alternative communication device for motorcycle riders which is economical and provide convenient communication and coordination between riders without causing any disturbances and hazards. Resumen
In the context of Long-Term Evolution (LTE), the next generation mobile telecommunication network, femtocells are low-power base stations that efficiently provide coverage and capacity indoors. This paper presents a computationally efficient dynamic system-level LTE simulator for enterprise femtocell scenarios. The simulator includes specific mobility and traffic and propagation models for indoor environments. A physical layer abstraction is performed to predict link-layer performance with low computational cost. At link layer, two important functions are included to increase network capacity: Link Adaptation and Dynamic Scheduling. At network layer, other Radio Resource Management functionalities, such as Admission Control and Mobility Management, are also included. The resulting tool can be used to test and validate optimization algorithms in the context of Self-Organizing Networks (SON).

Теории надёжности отводится одно из важных мест при проектировании и создании не только систем телекоммуникаций, но и всего радиоэлектронного оборудования подводных робототехнических комплексов (РТК), функционирующих на базе информационно-измерительных и управляющих систем (ИИУС). С учётом того, что вопросам телекоммуникаций отводится главная роль при обмене информацией между корреспондентами, их можно рассматривать в качестве неотъемлемой составной части интегрированной поисковой системы РТК, обеспечивающей выполнение одной из главных функций в звене его управления – поиска и классификации подводных объектов. Исследованию вопросов теории надёжности систем телекоммуникаций в составе интегрированных поисковых систем РТК, обоснованному математическими расчётами, посвящена данная статья. Представлена методика определения вероятности безотказной работы и наработки на отказ в зависимости от интенсивности отказов и количества информационных каналов, используемых в интегрированном поисковом комплексе (ИПК). Приведены результаты расчетов для наиболее типичных конфигураций ИПК. Предложенная методика может применяться для оценки надежности ИИУС РТК. Reliability theory occupies one of the most important places in the design of not only telecommunication systems, but also of all radio-electronic equipment of underwater robotic complexes (URC), functioning based on information-measuring and control systems (IMCS). Considering that telecommunication issues are given the main role in information exchange between correspondents, they can be considered as an important component of an integrated search system of URC, providing the performance of one of the main functions - search and classification of underwater objects. This article is devoted to the study of the reliability theory of telecommunications systems issues as part of integrated search engines, based on mathematical calculations. A methodology for determining the probability of no-failure operation depending on the failure rate and the number of information channels used in an integrated search complex (ISC) is presented. The results of calculations for the most typical configurations of the ISC are given. The proposed methodology can be applied to estimate the reliability of URC IMCS.
