Resumen
This research aims to reveal the way mass media in Indonesia frame the radicalism and the multiculturalism issues in its relation to the radicalists’ needs to publicize their acts. Ten news items published in Tempo magazine were analyzed by using Robert N. Entman’s framing model. The analysis shows that Tempo views radicalism as a dangerous threat so that revising laws is regarded as the feasible solution. Some radicalist attacks taking place in Indonesia are always connected to Islamic State of Iraq and Syria including Thamrin Bombing.

Resumen
In Indonesia, Pancasila, the state ideology, is the foundation for national unity and identity. However, the principles of Pancasila face significant challenges from radicalist threats that seek to undermine its core values. This research aims to explore the key radicalist threats facing Pancasila, evaluate the effectiveness of current public administration strategies in addressing radicalism, and propose innovative approaches and policy recommendations to strengthen public administration strategies for defending Pancasila. Utilizing qualitative research methods, this study draws upon Social Identity Theory, Policy Implementation Theory, and Diffusion of Innovations Theory to analyze the multifaceted nature of radicalist threats and inform evidence-based policy decisions. Secondary data sources, including government reports, academic literature, and media sources, are employed to gain insights into radicalism's origins, manifestations, and impacts on Indonesian society. The results show how radicalist ideas are complicated and rooted in group identities. They also show how hard it can be to implement policies because of bureaucracy. Finally, they show how new ideas such as community engagement programs, educational reforms, and technological interventions might be able to effectively fight radicalism. By understanding these challenges and opportunities, policymakers can devise targeted interventions to safeguard Pancasila against radicalist threats, promoting democracy, social justice, and unity.

Resumen
This article deals with relation between music and radicalism. In fact, religion and politics are more related with radicalism. In art perspective, visual art was more related with radicalism rather than music position—especially in Indonesia. In Indonesia music had minor relation with radicalism. According this fact, i would like to explore about music with radicalism with link with several songs, genres, and moda of production—especially relate with definition of radicalisme was rooted movement. The result that i got so far is songs, genres, and mode of production relate with counter-culture. Through counter-culture, radicalism movement that used by music can be running with a different portion, inter alia: change old system to new system, and deal with daily activity as a counter. This result made me more brightly to articulate that pathern and logic of radicalism not only about practical measured, but relate with ideology things.

Resumen
In this search, our focus is on Middle-Eastern radicalism and its impact on the Indonesian nation. It seems that radicalism in the Middle East arises from its own historical, political and cultural context. Therefore, it is very peculiar to apply it in this country, since Indonesia has its own particular historical, political and cultural context. However, it is inevitable that the notion of radicalism has entered Indonesia through certain groups, individuals, social media, or networks affiliated with radicalist networks in the Middle East. This fact needs to be addressed by establishing a deradicalization institution and by preserving the treasures of the arts, culture and ethics of the country, Nusantara.

Resumen
According to Samuel Huntington, conservatism is the opposite of radicalism. In this article, I try to review this claim by analysing three main (neo)conservative thinkers: Carl Schmitt, Leo Strauss and Irving Kristol. I show that not only (neo)conservatism is infected by its opposite, in becoming the more or less radical adversary of radicalism, but it is the awareness of the radicality of the formation of social and political order itself – the consciousness of the very roots or foundations of order. In this respect, (neo)conservatism and what is commonly called radicalism, are both the anti-modern companions of modernity. In the vocabulary of Avishai Margalit, (neo)conservatism and radicalism both stick to a ‘religious’ self-understanding of politics, in contrast to a modern, secularized, and pragmatic ‘economic’ self-understanding of politics.

In indonesia radicalism has four traditions of wahabi, salafi, jihadi and Takfiri groups of the four groups that use violent movements and caci makian is a jihadi movement, this movement prohibits killing non-Muslims and the takfiri group is the most extremist of radical movements because this group encourages all infidels except those in the group. This group is often troubling the community so that the implications go into the world of education. The phenomenon of fact occurs in fernanando network which is an alumnus of UIN syarif Jakarta. Resumen
The spread of radicalism never stops in the span of the history of Muslims from the past until now. Although radicalismis often associatedwith Islam, thereis no fact that Islam is a religion that teaches peace, there has never been an element of religious coercion against others and does not condone the practice of using violence in spreading religious understanding. Meanwhile, radicalism is an understanding that seeks to impose religious opinions, desires, and ideals to realize certain goals through the path of violence. The spread of radicalism can be a real threat to all circles, including the younger generation. The younger generation is more likely to be involved in radical groups, in addition the younger generation is often the main target in the spread of radical understanding because so far the younger generation is very easy to influence. But actually the younger generation has a very important role in preventing the spread of radicalism, considering the younger generation is the next generation of the nation that will challenge the future of the nation. Therefore, the role of the younger generation becomes very important in maintaining unity, unity and preventing the spread of radicalism.

Resumen
This article focuses on the causes of the radicalism of religions which sometimes perform violence. The modern thinkers believe that religion will fade and loss its role in a society when the society develops to be a modern society. They also believe that the advancement of various sciences will make religion as merely the past inheritance of human being that will be lost along with the development of modernization. Therefore, the social scientist generally believe that 'the death of religion' from human life all over the world is marking the time. The emergence of radicalism of religion in the social and political life of contemporary society is caused by various closely related factors. The radicalism of religion is indicated by the attitude of several adherents who perform denial to human values by performing harshness and terrorism. The adherents of a religion frequentfy assume that they are the only right ones without any compromise, non-history, and anti-dialogues in understanding the holy texts so that they are labeled as fundamentalists, extremists, radicalists, and so on. Education has been used to radicalize and deradicalize youth. Governments in conflict-affected countries have an interest in funding measures against violent extremism as part of education programs. After the social conflict in the Poso district, the local government implemented some policies aimed at preventing the emergence of radicalism. The results of the study of 456 respondents from four elements of the population, namely the army, police, government employees, and the general public, showed that the level of education was the difference between people’s perceptions of the quality of radicalism prevention services. Resumen

In October 2020 and January 2021, the Anti-Radicalism Movement (GAR) alumni of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) reported the former Chairman of Muhammadiyah, Din Syamsuddin, to the State Civil Apparatus Commission (KASN). GAR believes that Din has violated the law which prohibits the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) from engaging in politics. The accusations against Din sparked a public reaction because they were linked to radicalism. This report with nuances of stigmatization and character assassination also provoked a strong reaction from Muslims, especially the Muhammadiyah extended family, because it was considered to be cornering them. Azyumardi Azra called the report absurd, baseless and unreasonable. Din Syamsudin's reporting because he was considered radical was considered to be part of the phenomenon of the emergence of fake radicalism. This research aims to answer two main problems, namely; why can fake radicalism emerge in democratic countries and, what are the implications of fake radicalism for the sustainability and future of Indonesian democracy? This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The case study raised is the phenomenon of fake radicalism in Indonesia related to the GAR Alumni ITB report against Din Syamsuddin. Analysis was carried out using a descriptive analysis approach. The data collection techniques are carried out through observation, literature study and documentation related to the research object. As for the results of the research carried out, several findings were obtained, namely that in this case, radicalism was used as a negative stigma for anyone who was considered to be against the state or politically at odds with power. Fake radicalism refers to efforts to radicalize groups that are considered to be opposed to the state (power) even though the movement, criticism or protest carried out does not in any way lead to an attempt to completely overhaul the existing social and political order using violence - religious radicalism which leads to terrorist movement. Reports about Din Syamsudin being considered radical are not only a form of academic harassment, but are also part of the phenomenon of the emergence of fake radicalism. Fake radicalism which is the basis of this stigmatization actually has the potential to threaten democracy, diversity and national political life.

Terrorism as a manifestation of radicalism seems to arise and sink. Its existence is silent, but one day it can appear targeting all segments. The segment of radicalism thinking is the teenagers at the high school level. This because they are the transition from childhood to adulthood. The positive thinking mindset is seen with clarity of thought and brings the pandemic phenomenon as resilience to counteract radical thought patterns. The purpose of this study is to make the pandemic period a momentum for strengthening students' religious understanding as a counter to radicalism. This study is qualitative research with a content analysis approach to social media content. The results show that there are 5 (five) ways to strengthen religious understanding as an effort to de-radicalize high school students, namely: (1) Fostering logical thinking patterns wrapped in religion (science spiritualism), (2) Presentation of neutral readings so that their direction of reasoning is organized, balanced between thoughts state and religion, (3) Cultivating tawazzun and moderate attitudes, (4) Modeling attitudes and behaviors that are easy to imitate from teachers and education leaders, (5) optimizing the role of parents to assist students in distance learning patterns, learning from home, or online learning.

Resumen
Religious radicalism has become an issue in Indonesia due to its link to terrorism acts. The government raised the need to conduct an assessment on radicalism. This study aims to develop the Religious Radicalism Scale (ReadS). The study was arranged into four general phases: 1) Defining religious radicalism, 2) Identifying indicators of religious radicalism, 3) Developing scale, and 4) Identifying psychometric properties. The study applied quantitative method of analysis to examine the instrument’s reliability (alpha Cronbach and omega McDonnald) and content-related validity. It involved 31 multidisciplinary scholars and professionals in identifying indicators of religious radicalism, followed by 64 participants from two contrasted groups to define psychometric properties. The findings demonstrate the efficacy of ReadS’ items in detecting religious radicalism. Moreover, ReadS achieves satisfactory reliability α=0.97 and ω=0.97; hence, the instrument can be applied in investigating religious radicalism. The study may help academics and practitioners in scientifically examining religious radicalism.

Resumen
Radicalism is a delicate subject with the potential to disrupt the natural order. This study aims to determine the meaning of radicalism, the genealogy of religious radicalism, the factors that cause radical Islam, and deradicalization efforts. This research was a qualitative method with descriptive approach. Based on the research results, it is known that radicalism's teachings and movements are a movement that leads to ideological changes both politically and socially through violence, which is contrary to Islamic values. The challenge of radicalism is overcome by various deradicalization efforts so that it can maintain the nature of Islam itself. Deradicalization is not intended as an attempt to convey a "new understanding" of Islam or to refute the creed but rather as an effort to purify the understanding of what and how Islam is.Abstrak Radikalisme merupakan suatu pembahasan yang sangat sensitif dan merupakan paham yang dapat menggoyahkan tatanan kehidupan.

Radicalism has become an issue that is never absent to discuss. Moreover, current developments, such as the issue of radicalism, also continue to develop. Radicalism is something that needs to be watched out for because its existence is quiet like an underground movement which is quite difficult to detect. However, evidence of the existence of radicalism in Indonesia still exists even today. The da'wah movement which is an effort to prevent and overcome radicalism movements must develop in accordance with the current developments. Da'wah must be packaged more attractively and involve all parties in the current problem of radicalism. Da'wah with a structural and cultural approach can be a strategy in preventing and overcoming radicalism.

Resumen
Radicalism is a serious threat to countries in the world, Indonesia as a country that has a large area and a population that has increased the potential threat of understanding derived from radical ideology (negative), to show the efforts made by the Indonesian government in anticipating radicalism in the country then This article lightly discusses the urgency of anticipating the threat of radicalism into the rule of law and identifying the elements of radicalism to enter into a classification of crime that is different from terrorism. This research method uses a literature study that qualitatively seeks to analyze the phenomenon of rising tendencies of radicalism in Indonesia and explains the urgency of regulating radicalism into a legal norm. Discussion and analysis of research shows that radicalism is very important (urgent) to be anticipated in a rule of law so that although there are already specific rules in Law No.5 of 2017 concerning terrorism, radicalism also has urgency to be regulated by looking at elements of the pattern of crime development that different from terrorism as a crime that is more clearly characterized by actual. The results of the identification of elements of radicalism show different tendencies with more significant indicators of radicalism before the onset of terrorism.

Resumen
This work examines an academic exposure on the issues of religious radicalism increasing globally not only in the West but also in the east countries. As a majority Muslim populated country, Indonesia is one of the reluctant examples in facing the problem of religious radicalism. In addition, this research paper examines the term of “radicalism” politically associated with extremism and terrorism. The primary issue is explicitly addressed to religious radicalism in terms of meaning and image. Hence, we perceive that religious radicalism can be understood as mainstream feature on religious behavior including religious actions leading to the steps of violent extremism or terrorism. Religious radicalism today is massively defined as a negative rather than positive connotation. Such glimpse traps us to be “narrow minded” in perceiving the role as well as the holy spirit of religions. Therefore, the critical questions of this research paper include what happens with the framing of religious radicalism today; How is the historical narration of radicalism; and is it a problem when someone being radical to practice and understand religions or beliefs. Lastly, how philosophical meanings of the word radicalism alone response such debate. However, the general terminology of religious radicalism has led significant social, political, and cultural impacts toward religious harmony and religious life particularly in Indonesian context.

Resumen
This study will narrate the response of Muhammadiyah's actions in stemming Radicalism in the leadership of Haedar Nashir, namely the period 2015 - 2021, the reaction of Muhammadiyah's Radicalism at this time, offering a Moderation program for the fight against Radicalism. After the Reformation, it experienced radicalization in ideological power. The form of Radicalism was not only in the scope of religious ideology but also entered the scope of the ideologies of liberalism, capitalism, totalitarianism to fascism. Therefore, it can be concluded that Radicalism is not only from the point of view of religious activity but also that ideology can be implemented in a system of Radicalism in the form of Economics and Politics. This research has a problem formulation, namely, how is Muhammadiyah's response in stemming Radicalism? Especially three points of view from Religious Radicalism, Economics, and Politics. This study also uses two theories, namely the theory of Moderation and the idea of Radicalism. The research method used is descriptive qualitative to examine Muhammadiyah and Moderation on the response of Muhammadiyah's leadership in 2015-2021 in stemming Radicalism related to the research questions in the background. This qualitative research uses a previous study's literature study data collection technique. The researcher also tries to take a literature review from the Connected paper application with two keywords, Muhammadiyah Moderation and Muhammadiyah Radicalism. The qualitative data analysis is interpreted by analyzing data reduction, data exposure, and drawing conclusions or verifying conclusions

In general, the discourse on youth existence and radicalism in Aceh has been started by a radicalism map and ended by analyzing data on youth involvement in countering radicalism in Aceh. The data were presented from previous facts, media publications, interviews, and observations of various sources. The result of the analysis revealed that the intensity of radicalism discourse among youth had increased in 2017. It was the momentum of the development of radicalism discourse. It was reflected by the involvement of youth activists of various community, youth and university organizations in countering radicalism ideas in Aceh. Therefore, the challenge of youth existence in responding to religious radicalism unemployment and drug in Aceh is very important. It is perceived that not every single radical action reflects the ideological belief but due to social and political gaps.

Resumen
An increase in the number of cases related to radicalism in Indonesia is an early warning for the government and is very dangerous for the lives of Indonesian people including the Bima community. Therefore, an anticipated strategy is required to determine the best control of the radicalism. This study aims: (1) to determine the attitude of university student radicalism in the City of Bima, (2) build a mathematical model that is in line with the problem of radicalism in the City of Bima, and (3) to construct the reproduction number from the mathematical model of radicalism, and use the to explain the dynamics of the spread of radicalism in the city of Bima. The following results have been obtained: (1) STKIP Bima students' perceptions of radicalism are categorized into three groups, namely the healthy group of 295 people (12%), the neutral group of 1,768 people (72%), and the radicalism (in perception) group of 393 people ( 16%), (2) The mathematical model has been validated against the real data obtained from the STKIP Bima student population in 2019. It shows that if the chance of moving individuals from neutral groups to radical groups is greater or equal with the opportunity of individuals from neutral groups to healthy groups, one person who believes in radicalism can produce four to five new individuals who understand radicalism.

Resumen
Radicalism, meaning here complete dedication to a cause, even at the risk of one’s own life, is not an epiphenomenon nor a derailment of religion. It is an ingrained tendency within religion and of a frequency, not occurred in other domains like politics, the economy or science. The root cause of this intimate link of religion with radicalism is the opening up within religion of an utopian dimension. Equipped furthermore with distinctive institutions and with claims of religious omnivalence – of being valid in all walks of life – religions thus present a potent vantage point from which life and society can be criticized and called up for conversion and reform. Religious radicalism accounts for much of the prominence and visibility of religion in society. There are many forms of religious radicalism, most of them peaceful in character. Distinction will be made between ordinary and extra-ordinary radicalism and establishment and anti-establishment radicalism. Reducing religious radicalism to violence or ill-fated extremism, is not only factually wrong. It also means underestimating the importance and role of religious radicalism for religion – and society.

Resumen
This study aims to discuss the study of religion and radicalism in the realm that focuses on religion as conflict resolution and peacebuilding in an effort to ward off radicalism. This research method is qualitative in nature to describe and systematically interpret the facts of radicalism, using relevant literature study methods, which examine library sources such as research reports (thesis, journals), books and other supporting data related to the topic of religious radicalism, in addition to a descriptive analysis approach that places more emphasis on reviews related to the theme that has been determined and then described according to the formulation, and the results are summarized briefly and clearly. The discussion of this research includes the understanding of religious radicalism, indications and implications of radicalism, and religion as conflict resolution and peace. This study concludes that radicalism is an understanding that requires major changes and reforms by using violence. So there is a ned for conflict resolution to overcome or prevent the occurrence of radicalism, namely the concept of a religion of peace that presents the concept of inter-faith dialogue.

Resumen
Radicalism is an important issue in Indonesia and it starts penetrating into higher education institutions. Young generation becomes a proper target to spread such radicalism. This present research is aimed at analyzing the radicalism attitude tendency among university students. The instrument employed is the results of the adaptation and modification from the Activism-Radicalism Intention Scale (ARIS) and the University Students’ Attitude Tendency. Then, an analysis of the causing factors and the dynamics of such radicalism attitude is also discussed in this present research. It was found that 44.5% university students tended to have a low radicalism attitude tendency, 5.6% high, and 11.3% very high. Their age ranged from 16-26 years. Interestingly, the low rate of the radicalism attitude tendency is predicted to be higher, if no preventive action is immediately taken. This prediction is that the results of analysis using Bandura’s social cognitive theory namely behavior, environment, and person would greatly contribute to the formation of the radicalism attitude. The contribution of this present research to the literature is made by providing innovative ways to detect the radicalism attitude tendency among university students, the causing factors, and the dynamic of the formation of such attitude. This research shows that the study of radicalism has five dominant keywords that often appear, namely Radicalism, Islamism, terrorism, Religion, and Identity. This shows that the five topics are the main focus of attention written by most authors. This research contributes to delivering the development and mapping of the study of radicalism as one of the problems in global democracy. Meanwhile, the limitation is that the articles reviewed are only sourced from Scopus, so they do not have comparative data. Resumen
The development of online media has long played big roles in the spreading of intolerance and radicalism, in some levels, the online media is also used as a media to spread propaganda and to conduct online recruitment. Data compiled by Gabriel Weimann shows that radical groups use online media seriously to spread their wings in influencing and asking people to joint their movement. In 1998, radical-terrorist groups only had 12 sites, while in 2003 they had 2.650 sites. The number increased so high in 2014 where these groups are known to have more than 9.800 sites. The shifting place, from offline to online, used by radical groups to conduct their activities impacts to the targets they aim; online radicalism targets youth to become ‘jihadis’. A national survey conducted by Wahid Foundation on potency of intolerance and radicalism in Rohis (an after-school program focused on Islamic spirituality) shows this fact; 33% Rohis put terrorist suspect like Amrozi, Imam Samudra, Abu Bakar Ba’asyir, and Bahrun Na’im as the living example of Muslim practicing the real jihad. 37% believes that Osama bin Laden died syahid, 6% of them even support international terrorist group, ISIS. The article is designed to analyze how radical groups use online media to radicalize youth, as well as supporting factors surrounding the live of youth, especially in big cities of Indonesia.

The findings illuminate diverse interpretations of radicalism among teachers and underscore the effectiveness of collaborative efforts with parents and the community in accessing essential educational resources and further training. The study reveals a critical demand for enhancing teachers' knowledge management skills related to radicalism, advocating for targeted training programs that could significantly improve anti-radicalism education at the kindergarten level. Despite facing resource limitations, this research spotlights the potential impact of early childhood education in fostering a more tolerant and harmonious society. It suggests that upgrading educational resources, refining teacher training programs, and leveraging technology in anti-radicalism education are vital steps forward. The implications of this study are manifold, indicating the urgent need to strengthen early educators' capacity in knowledge management concerning radicalism. This supports the effective delivery of anti-radicalism education and contributes to the broader goal of nurturing a more inclusive and peaceful community.
Radicalism is a challenge and concern for the world, including the Muslim community in Indonesia. The radicalism movement is evidenced by the existence of violence in achieving its goals in political, religious, social, educational, and economic matters. In the world of education in Indonesia, violence, and intimidation still often occurs so that anti-radicalism education is needed which can be realized through the teaching process, especially at the high school level. Anti-radicalism education requires humans to respect each other's differences and make peace according to the Al-Quran and Hadith guidelines which are integrated through education. For this reason, the analysis in this article is descriptive qualitative with an approach using the library method which aims to understand the history of the development of the Islamic radicalism movement and Islamic solutions to overcome the problems of religious radicalism and terrorism by implementing anti-radicalism education. Besides, this article will describe some of the terminology and examples of the influence of the Islamic radical movement at the senior high school. In Indonesia, the emergence of Islamic radicalism is based on three factors, namely developments at the global level, namely the radical group from the Middle Eastern. Second, the widespread of Wahhabi has led to conflict. And the third is poverty. The field of education also has an impact on Islamic radicalism, which can be from teachers to students, the influence of technological sophistication, the influence of Wahhabi understanding, poverty, even the materials in student worksheets and books also contain many radical values. Therefore, anti-radicalism education is very important because it can require the younger generation to respect differences, humans who love compassion, and humans who hate doing damage. Efforts to overcome radicalism at high school levels can be done with character education
