Resumen
This Review proceeds as follows. Part I summarizes The Age of Dignity. Part II explains how this segment of immigrant workers challenges the productivity/affinity binary that dominates immigration law’s formal migration rules. Part III shows how this binary sets up dual migration streams, both of which could account for future flows of care workers. As Part III shows, the example of the eldercare industry nicely illustrates how the employment based and family-based migration systems simply represent two different ways of filling labor needs. I then conclude.

Resumen
Productivity is the preferred measure of firm-level efficiency and perceived to reflect resource use rates. Semi-structured interviews with restaurant managers in a tourism-dominated low productivity rural area reveal that they are motivated to supply products that they believe in and to sustain a quality of life that meets their needs rather than striving to achieve higher productivity. Pricing strategies, managerial objectives and local market characteristics are found to radically influence the area’s productivity value. An area’s productivity value might not be an indicator of resource use rates or productive efficiency, and could instead reflect resident managers’ motivations towards money and the presence of opportunities to achieve scale economies.

Resumen
The article presents a robust version of the Luenberger productivity indicator. The proposed productivity indicator is less sensitive to potential outliers and extreme values. We apply the robust productivity index on a sample of 176 hotels operating in the Canary Islands over the period from 2004 to 2013. The results indicate that hotels have increased their productivity levels over the examined time period. In relation to their productivity levels, it is also evident that hotels have demonstrated strong resilience during the global financial crisis. Finally, it is evident that hotels have been recovered quickly from the global financial crisis based mainly on the ability to increase their technological change levels.

Resumen
The purpose of the work was to compare the indicators of beef productivity of steers of different breeds and different productivity. The results of assessing the growth intensity and slaughter traits of steers have been presented in the article. The object of the research was steers of Black-and-White (dairy productivity) and Simmental (dairy and beef productivity) breeds. When studying the fattening traits of steers, the dynamics of live weight, its absolute, average daily and relative gains were established. When assessing meat traits, the live weight after fattening and pre-slaughter weight, slaughter weight and slaughter yield were determined, and a tasting assessment of the meat and broth was carried out. When comparing the beef productivity indicators of steers of two breeds, it was found that the breed of animals had a signifi cant infl uence on live weight and its growth. At the end of the rearing period, animals of Simmental breed had the highest live weight 496,0 kg; for steers of Blackand- White breed the fi gure was significantly lower 449,5 kg. When slaughtering animals, carcasses with the high slaughter yield were obtained. The largest carcass weight and slaughter yield were in animals of Simmental breed: 275,7 kg and 58,8 % (p ≤ 0,01), respectively. The results of the tasting assessment showed that the meat of Simmental steers was superior in organoleptic qualities to the meat of steers of Black-and-White breed. Thus, in order to increase the volume of beef production and improve its quality with optimal technological indicators in the Penza region, it is recommended to breed steers of Blackand-White breed, and to obtain high-quality beef, to rear animals of Simmental breed.

Summary: This paper analyses the effect of non-farm activities on agricultural productivity using linear probability models and the Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition on a sample of 7,203 cereal farmers. The results show that the non-farm activities increases productivity by 11.78%. This increase is mainly due to variable inputs such as chemical fertilisers (55%), the use of phytosanitary products (24%), expenditure on hired labour (8%) and the practice of ploughing with a tractor or motorised plough (5%). Land ownership and rural residence reduced the gap in favour of producers who did not participate in non-farm activities. These results indicate that non-farm activities have a spillover effect on agricultural productivity. Consequently, participation in non-farm activities is an effective choice for increasing agricultural productivity in Burkina Faso. Policy-makers must encourage the development of non-agricultural activities to support the development of agricultural production. Keywords: Non-farm activities, Agricultural productivity, Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition, Burkina Faso JEL Classification : D24 - L26 - Q12.

Resumen
The measurement of productivity employer was crucial for the development of a organization and company. This was influenced for the company's working. One of the electricity's source company wanted to know how the achievements of employer's productivity are. This research is focused to maintaining department which concerned with three level division, they were specialist, supervisor, staff or technician crew. This research have done by using Will, can, May approach as the way to measure of the productivity's measurement. To conduct this research, it must be known the criterion of each elements, it used brainstorming with the company, and also the literature's reference. Another method which was used in this research is the priority each Will, Can, and May elements used Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and fuzzy method to found single value which can form the productivity each employer as the achievement every elements of Will, can, and May. The result of this research showed that the productivity's achievement in middle and high scale from 43 employers who have measured their productivity. From the result of productivity's approach which have done was to know how are incentives which have got as the result of productivity each employer, and the result of incentive giving which have formulated gave the higher incentive's value than before. The result of giving more motivate the productivity of employer and the incentive's measurement didn't decrease the company from the benefit of allocation which is old incentive's giving and it is not look the stagnancy's nominal.

Resumen
As it is well known, by examining the two most important competitive scales, we find that Colombia has been placed in the middle for a long period of time, according to the position achieved in each ranking. Besides, the country’s growth rates have depended more on the price fluctuations of commodities rather than on the direction of the economy for generating value in the market. These two factors have existed for a long period of time, so it can be said that the phenomenon of under competitivity, and therefore of under growth, is a structural one. The overall sensation is that Colombia has not been able to move forward on this matter. As it is obvious, this situation becomes commonplace and the population starts to worry about what is happening: the fact that we simply are an average country from the competitive point of view. As an answer, economic and business people and concerning entities within the country have proposed the need to increase productivity, echoing those voices that have underlined this variable as a key element in today’s world economy. But a question must really be asked: Is productivity enough? This means, If we aim towards an increase in productivity, can we overcome the competitivity problem?

Resumen
This article describes how instant research explicates the features, analogy, and principles, of manufacturing productivity management in contemporary industrial arenas. It is exceedingly necessary to increase manufacturing production to improve productivity of the company. Current research provides a substitute way-out to optimize the material and workforce resources available in the plant. The authors proposed the implementation of clustering concept with improved tooling for manufacturing. The intended approach stimulated productivity growth by using improved production facilities, which resulted in reduced monthly rejections arising out of manufacturing's critical component. Component production cost was reduced through the use of curbing cycle time. The implementation study magnificently contributed towards productivity enhancement by producing more with less resource input. The experimentation recorded an increase of over16% in monthly production by dint of curtailed cycle time. An average gain of 5.27% in total productivity was achieved.

Resumen
The role of robots is becoming substantial for industrial applications and business competitiveness. The purpose of this paper is to review robotic transformation concept and to investigate its business applications in the food industry. The robot transformation in food industry provided a robust support in raising business productivity, reduced cost and enhanced customer's loyalty, besides the food safety and quality. Its service in production systems for material handling and packaging operations is inevitable. Despite the importance of robotics in improving productivity, small scale food companies are often reluctant to invest in robotization of their operations. Since it involves high initial investment, maintenance and costs associated with training skilled employees for programming of robotics. Mainly, two points have raised concerns in the discussion of this paper. First, the robot technology has been enhanced to deliver services for the large scale food companies. Meanwhile, the experiences gained in the food service sector which implement robots can replace the human touch. At the end of this review, several solutions are recommended to shed light on the applications of the robot in the food industry.
