Resumen

Inflorescence architecture in rice (Oryza sativa) is mainly determined by spikelets and the branch arrangement. Primary branches initiate from inflorescence meristem in a spiral phyllotaxic manner, and further develop into the panicle branches. The branching patterns contribute largely to rice production. In this study, we characterized a rice verticillate primary branch 1(vpb1) mutant, which exhibited a clustered primary branches phenotype. Gene isolation revealed that VPB1 was a allele of RI, that it encoded a BELL-like homeodomain (BLH) protein. VPB1 gene preferentially expressed in the inflorescence and branch meristems. The arrangement of primary branch meristems was disturbed in the vpb1 mutant. Transcriptome analysis further revealed that VPB1 affected the expression of some genes involved in inflorescence meristem identity and hormone signaling pathways. In addition, the differentially expressed gene (DEG) promoter analysis showed that OsBOPs involved in boundary organ initiation were potential target genes of VPB1 protein. Electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) and dual-luciferase reporter system further verified that VPB1 protein bound to the promoter of OsBOP1 gene. Overall, our findings demonstrate that VPB1 controls inflorescence architecture by regulating the expression of genes involved in meristem maintenance and hormone pathways and by interacting with OsBOP genes.

Resumen

Electronic word of mouth is a message or information that comes from personal experience or consumer opinion on a product or service and is spread by word of mouth via the internet media. High electronic word of mouth can create customer engagement. Customer engagement is an attitude towards a brand or company, which involves active consumer commitment through online media in the form of word-of-mouth activities, providing reviews, recommendations, and blogging that is driven by motivation. This study aims to measure the effect of electronic word of mouth on customer engagement at Osbond Gym Bekasi. This research uses quantitative techniques with a survey method. Primary data were collected through distributing questionnaires to 85 respondents who are customers of Osbond Gym Bekasi. Data analysis used the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences with the SPSS for Windows 25 application. Based on the research results, it is known that there is a positive influence between electronic word of mouth on customer engagement. Electronic word of mouth has an effect of 69.7% on customer engagement, while 30.3% is another factorElectronic word of mouth adalah suatu pesan atau informasi yang berasal dari pengalaman pribadi atau opini konsumen akan suatu produk atau jasa dan disebarkan dari mulut ke mulut melalui media internet. Electronic word of mouth yang tinggi dapat menciptakan customer engagement. Customer engagement merupakan suatu sikap terhadap merek atau perusahaan, yang melibatkan komitmen konsumen secara aktif melalui media online yang berupa aktivitas word-of-mouth, memberikan review, rekomendasi, dan blogging yang didorong oleh suatu motivasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh electronic word of mouth terhadap customer engagement di Osbond Gym Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kuantitatif dengan metode survei. AbstractDirect numerical simulations of stratified turbulence are used to test several fundamental assumptions involved in the Osborn, Osborn–Cox, and Thorpe methods commonly used to estimate the turbulent diffusivity from field measurements. The forced simulations in an idealized triply periodic computational domain exhibit characteristic features of stratified turbulence including intermittency and layer formation. When calculated using the volume-averaged dissipation rates from the simulations, the vertical diffusivities inferred from the Osborn and Osborn–Cox methods are within 40% of the value diagnosed using the volume-averaged buoyancy flux for all cases, while the Thorpe-scale method performs similarly well in the simulation with a relatively large buoyancy Reynolds number (Reb ≃ 240) but significantly overestimates the vertical diffusivity in simulations with Reb < 60. The methods are also tested using a limited number of vertical profiles randomly selected from the computational volume. The Osborn, Osborn–Cox, and Thorpe-scale methods converge to their respective estimates based on volume-averaged statistics faster than the vertical diffusivity calculated directly from the buoyancy flux, which is contaminated with reversible contributions from internal waves. When applied to a small number of vertical profiles, several assumptions underlying the Osborn and Osborn–Cox methods are not well supported by the simulation data. However, the vertical diffusivity inferred from these methods compares reasonably well to the exact value from the simulations and outperforms the assumptions underlying these methods in terms of the relative error. Motivated by a recent theoretical development, it is speculated that the Osborn method might provide a reasonable approximation to the diffusivity associated with the irreversible buoyancy flux.

Abstract Uptake of boron (B) in rice (Oryza sativa) is mediated by the Low silicon rice 1 (OsLsi1) channel, belonging to the NOD26-like intrinsic protein III subgroup, and the efflux transporter B transporter 1 (OsBOR1). However, it is unknown how these transporters cooperate for B uptake and how they are regulated in response to B fluctuations. Here, we examined the response of these two transporters to environmental B changes at the transcriptional and posttranslational level. OsBOR1 showed polar localization at the proximal side of both the exodermis and endodermis of mature root region, forming an efficient uptake system with OsLsi1 polarly localized at the distal side of the same cell layers. Expression of OsBOR1 and OsLsi1 was unaffected by B deficiency and excess. However, although OsLsi1 protein did not respond to high B at the protein level, OsBOR1 was degraded in response to high B within hours, which was accompanied with a significant decrease of total B uptake. The high B-induced degradation of OsBOR1 was inhibited in the presence of MG-132, a proteasome inhibitor, without disturbance of the polar localization. In contrast, neither the high B-induced degradation of OsBOR1 nor its polarity was affected by induced expression of dominant-negative mutated dynamin-related protein 1A (OsDRP1AK47A) or knockout of the mu subunit (AP2M) of adaptor protein-2 complex, suggesting that clathrin-mediated endocytosis is not involved in OsBOR1 degradation and polar localization. These results indicate that, in contrast to Arabidopsis thaliana, rice has a distinct regulatory mechanism for B uptake through clathrin-independent degradation of OsBOR1 in response to high B.

Objectives The ability to solve problems is to gain knowledge and motivation in the problem solving process of students. The researcher used the IMPROVE and OSBORN learning models to improve problem solving skills. The IMPROVE and OSBORN learning models emphasize the development of optimal mathematical skills and generate new ideas in the process of problem solving. This research is used to see the impact of the IMPROVE learning model and OSBORN learning model which is better in mathematical problem solving abilities. This research uses the Quasy Experimental Design method. Hypothesis testing uses an independent sample test. The conclusion of the study is the mathematical problem solving ability of students who use the IMPROVE learning model is better than the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who use the OSBORN learning model.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kenyataan masih rendahnya literasi matematis siswa, padahal kemampuan ini merupakan tujuan pelajaran matematika. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu strategi untuk mendorong siswa dalam mengembangkan literasi matematisnya. Pembelajaran dengan model Osborn memungkinkan siswa untuk mengembangkan literasi matematis karena pembelajaran dilakukan secara interaktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan serta menelaah peningkatan literasi matematis siswa yang mendapat model pembelajaran Osborn dan siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran ekspositori. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan sampel penelitian dua kelas dari kelas VIII SMP pada salah satu sekolah di Kota Cimahi. Satu kelas dipilih sebagai kelompok kontrol mendapatkan pembelajaran ekspositori dan satu kelas lainnya sebagai kelompok eksperimen mendapatkan model pembelajaran Osborn. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari instrumen tesdan non tes. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kuantitatif, data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik t. Hasil peneli-tian menyimpulkan bahwa,peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran Osborn lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran ekspositori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan literasi matematis siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Osborn lebih baik dari pembelajaran ekspositori. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi terhadap pemilihan model pembelajaran oleh guru matematika di sekolah.

Resumen

We report a case of Osborn waves occurring in a 55-year-old normothermic male patient with spontaneous pneumothorax that resolved with the resolution of the pneumothorax. The patient was presented with a 2 week history of shortness of breath, pleuritic chest pain, and cough. He was found to have a left sided pneumothorax that persisted even after chest tube placement. The Electrocardiography (EKG) showed Osborn waves. He had a normal temperature, normal electrolytes, and a normal echocardiogram. Pneumothorax resolved after pleurodesis and pleurectomy. Post-operative EKG showed complete resolution of Osborn waves.

Resumen

The classic Osborn wave in the form of characteristic changes at the depolarization end or ventricular repolarization beginning is more often associated with hypothermia (body temperature below 35,6° C). Some researchers have noticed Osborn wave at normal body temperature, various pathological conditions and diseases: hypercalcemia, myocardial ischemia, postoperative pericarditis, with central nervous system, etc. We presented a case report of a 72-year-old female inpatient with moderate COVID-19, confirmed by polymerase chain reaction, and 48% lung damage. Before admission to the hospital, electrocardiogram had no Osborn wave, which first appeared at admission. There was a significant increase in serum C-reactive protein and a moderate increase in serum biomarkers and no changes in intervals and segments on the electrocardiogram. The appearance of Osborn wave may be associated with intramyocardial electrolyte imbalance, a consequence of antiviral and antibacterial therapy that violate intraventricular conduction.

Resumen

The generalized temporal residual mean (TRM-G) framework is reviewed and illustrated using a numerical simulation of vertical shear instability. It is shown how TRM-G reveals the physically relevant amount of diapycnal eddy fluxes and implied diapycnal mixing, and how TRM-G relates to the Osborn–Cox relation, which is often used to obtain observational estimates of the diapycnal diffusivity. An exact expression for the diapycnal diffusivity in the TRM-G is given in the presence of molecular diffusion, based on acknowledging and summing up an entire hierarchy of eddy buoyancy moments. In this revised form of the Osborn–Cox relation, diapycnal diffusivity is related only to irreversible mixing of buoyancy, since all advective and molecular flux terms are converted to dissipation of variance and higher order moments. An approximate but closed analytical expression can be given for the revised Osborn–Cox relation with the caveat that this closed expression implies unphysical cross-boundary rotational fluxes.It is demonstrated that the original Osborn–Cox relation, in which advective and molecular flux terms are simply neglected, is an approximation to the full form valid to first order. In the numerical simulation the original Osborn–Cox relation holds to a surprisingly good approximation despite large advective fluxes of variance and large lateral inhomogeneity in the turbulent mixing.

Osborn waves, or J waves, initially described by John Osborn in 1953 in hypothermic dog experiments, are highly sensitive and specific for hypothermia. Initially thought to be secondary to a hypothermia-induced “injury current,” they have more recently been attributed to a voltage differential between epicardial and endocardial potassium (Ito) currents. While the exact conditions required to induce such waves have been debated, numerous clinical scenarios of environmental and iatrogenic hypothermia have been described. Below, we report a novel case of hypothermia—that of neurosarcoidosis-induced central hypothermia with resultant Osborn waves and other associated findings found on electrocardiogram (ECG).

The purpose of this research is to find out the increase of student’s mathematical problem solving competence through the implementation of Osborn Learning Model, as well as compare it with the student who earned conventional learning. In addition, the purpose of this research is to find out the increase of mathematical problem solving competence on a group of student with high, middle, and low capability. The next purpose is to find out the attitude of the students against the osborn learning model. Methods used in this research is quasi Experimenter Method with pretest and post-test Marginalized Control Design. Population on this research are all of students of VIII grades in SMPN 1 Bandung. Samples on this research are two classes of VIII grades, one class as Experimental Class and the other one as control class. Research data obtained through the test of student’s mathematical problem solving competence, questionnaire, and observation sheets. The result of this research shows that the increasing of student’s mathematical problem solving competence with Osborn Learning Model better than the increasing of student’s mathematical problem solving competence with conventional learning. There are differences in the increasing competence on the groups of high capability, middle capability and low capability in osborn class and conventional class. In general, the students give a positive attitude against Osborn Learning Model.

This research aims to determine the Effect of Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy on Customer Satisfaction Woman at Osbond Gym Palembang. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling method with the Slovin formula so that the total number of 93 samples was aimed at respondents who exercised at Osbond Gym Palembang. Data retrieval was carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The analysis method used in this study is the multiple regression analysis method with the application of SPSS Statistics 23. The study's results based on a partial test (t-test) showed that tangible significantly affected customer satisfaction with a signification value of 0.038 < 0.05. Reliability significantly affected customer satisfaction with a signification value of 0,000 < 0.05. Responsiveness substantially affects customer satisfaction with a signification value of 0.027 < 0.05. Assurance significantly affected customer satisfaction, with a signification score of 0.012 < 0.05. Empathy substantially impacted customer satisfaction with a signification value of 0,000 < 0.05 tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy in the simultaneous test (F test) together significantly impacted customer satisfaction with a signification value of 0,000 < 0.05. The Coefficient of Determination test result was obtained by Adjusted R Square of 0.444, which showed that the dependent variable (Y) of 60.2% was influenced by the independent variable (X). The remaining 39.8% was affected by factors yet to be studied in this study. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan rumus slovin sehingga jumlah keseluruhan sampel sebanyak 93 sampel yang ditujukkan kepada responden yang berolahraga pada Osbond Gym Palembang. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis regresi berganda dengan aplikasi SPSS Statistics 23. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji parsial (uji t) menunjukkan bahwa tangible berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dengan nilai siginifikasi 0,038 < 0,05. reliabilty berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dengan nilai siginifikasi 0,000 < 0,05. Responsiveness berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dengan nilai siginifikasi 0,027 < 0,05. Assurance berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dengan nilai siginifikasi 0,012 < 0,05 dan Emphaty berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dengan nilai siginifikasi 0,000 < 0,05 tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance dan emphaty dalam uji simultan (uji F) secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dengan nilai siginifikasi 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil uji Koefisien Determinasi diperoleh Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,444. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel dependen (Y) sebesar 60,2% dipengaruhi variabel independen (X), sedangkan 39,8% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang belum diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Abstract Let (L, ·) be any loop and let A(L) be a group of automorphisms of (L, ·) such that α and φ are elements of A(L). It is shown that, for all x, y, z ∈ L, the A(L)-holomorph (H, ○) = H(L) of (L, ·) is an Osborn loop if and only if xα(yz · xφ−1) = xα(yxλ · x) · zxφ−1. Furthermore, it is shown that for all x ∈ L, H(L) is an Osborn loop if and only if (L, ·) is an Osborn loop, (xα· xρ)x = xα, x(xλ · xφ−1) = xφ−1 and every pair of automorphisms in A(L) is nuclear (i.e. xα·xρ, xλ ·xφ ∈ N(L, ·)). It is shown that if H(L) is an Osborn loop, then A(L, ·) = 𝒫(L, ·)∩Λ(L, ·)∩Φ(L, ·)∩ Ψ(L, ·) and for any α ∈ A(L), $\alpha = L_{e\pi } = R_{e\varrho }^{ - 1}$ for some π ∈ Φ(L, ·) and some ϱ ∈ Ψ(L, ·). Resumen

This study aims to compare student learning outcomes in mathematics with the use of Osborn and computer-based interactive mathematics learning model in class X TKJ SMKN 1 Sinjai. This type of research is an experimental research with a quantitative approach with a pretest postest control group design research design. The population in this study were students of class X TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai. While the sample used is simple random sampling. Based on the descriptive analysis of student learning outcomes in class X TKJ 1 after the application of the Osborn learning model as a control class, the average pre-test of the Osborn learning model was 76.80 and the post-test was 79.25 which was greater than the KKM (65). Based on the inferential analysis, the results of this study indicate that the Sig. (2-tailed) in the paired sample t-test of 0.000 where the value is less than 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes between Osborn and the computer-based interactive learning model for the tenth graders of TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai.

Henry Fairfield Osborn, vertebrate paleontologist at the American Museum of Natural History, did virtually all of his fieldwork by proxy. Working mostly from his New York office, he detailed a score of fieldworkers to locate and claim fossil localities in advance of collectors from rival museums. This history of a long-forgotten Jurassic dinosaur reconnaissance in the San Juan Basin, which was materially unsuccessful, explores how Osborn found and evaluated potential new field localities. He was relentless in pursuit of fossils, especially in the face of worthy competition. He received his first unsolicited tip about fossils along the Colorado-Utah border in 1893. A collector sent to scout the locality found Jurassic dinosaurs in poor condition and left them behind. Following a second tip about fossils in the same region in 1899—at the height of the second Jurassic dinosaur rush—Osborn sent two more expeditions to search the area. Both of these parties returned empty-handed also. Reliable locality data regarding the presence of typical Jurassic vertebrates would have been very useful to geologists like Whitman Cross, who was then attempting to correlate beds west of the Rockies with better-known strata on the eastern slope. But, in order to maintain a competitive advantage, Osborn kept this locality data to himself.

Resumen

Abstract An 84–year–old man was found unconscious on the ground by his daughter. The patient had a medical history of arterial hypertension, dyslipidemia and type II diabetes mellitus complicated by peripheral neuropathy and has been experiencing frequent falls. The emergency services were alerted, and the man was taken to the emergency room. In the ER, an abnormal electrocardiogram was recorded, and an urgent cardiological consultation was requested. Upon reading the ECG, the cardiologist ordered the patient‘s body temperature to be measured, which was found to be 29.7°C. The recorded ECG showed signs of severe hypothermia, including an advanced atrioventricular block (in this case, III–degree AV block), a widening of the QRS complex with the appearance of the Osborn wave, and a prolonged QT interval. The Osborn wave is a positive deflection visible at the J point and it is an uncommon electrocardiographic finding that immediately suggests hypothermia, although it is not pathognomonic (it can also be found in acute myocardial ischemia, hypercalcemia, sepsis, and other non–hypothermic conditions). The electrophysiological basis of the Osborn wave lies in the Ito current, a transient current caused by the release of potassium ions from the ventricular myocardiocyte, which is responsible for a brief partial repolarization during phase 1 of the action potential. Hypothermia increases the amplitude and width of the action potential notch due to the Ito current in the epicardium much more than in the endocardium, creating a transmural voltage gradient that manifests on the surface ECG as the Osborn wave. The Osborn wave is initially more evident in the inferolateral leads; as the body temperature decreases, the wave gradually becomes visible in all 12 leads and, when the body temperature returns to normal, the wave progressively disappears. This potential difference also correlates with possible proarrhythmic effects and, when linked to acute myocardial ischemia, the Osborn wave is an adverse prognostic factor as it is associated with a higher risk of ventricular fibrillation. In this case, the patient had fallen during the night and remained on the ground for hours. He was hospitalized for short intensive observation, warmed up, and hydrated, with a rapid and complete resolution of the clinical and electrocardiographic abnormalities

Resumen

Sarah Osborn does not appear in the definitive biographical dictionary, Notable American Women. She is not in the pages of Sydney Ahlstrom's A Religious History of the American People, nor of any more recent standard American religious history text. She failed to catch the attention of the editors and authors of the recent Encyclopedia of the American Religious Experience or Dictionary of Christianity in America. The great New Divinity pastor-theologian Samuel Hopkins in some measure owed his career to Sarah Osborn, but studies of him mention her only in passing or not at all. Scholars have learned of her through the work of Mary Beth Norton and in the documentary history, Women and Religion in America, but the Sarah Osborn most often mentioned in connection with early New England is the one accused as a witch at Salem who died in Boston prison 10 May 1692.

Resumen

The enteropneust family Torquaratoridae, discovered in 2005, has the fewest species of the four living families. It is composed of seven species that live on the cold, deep-sea floor. Torquarator bullocki Holland, Clague, Gordon, Gebruk, Pawson and Vecchione, 2005 was the first species described and collected from the Northeastern Pacific. Two new species of Torquaratoridae were collected from the Eastern Pacific and described as Tergivelum baldwinae Holland, Jones, Ellena, Ruhl and Smith, 2009 and Allapasus aurantiacus Holland, Kuhnz and Osborn, 2012. A further three species have been collected from the North Atlantic: Yoda purpurata Priede, Osborn, Gebruk, Jones, Shale, Rogacheva and Holland, 2012, Allapasus isidis Priede, Osborn, Gebruk, Jones, Shale, Rogacheva and Holland, 2012, and Tergivelum cinnabarinum Priede, Osborn, Gebruk, Jones, Shale, Rogacheva and Holland, 2012. The latest Torquaratoridae species was collected from the Russian Arctic in 2013. We add two new species to the Torquaratoridae from Baffin Bay and Viscount Melville Sound, in the eastern Arctic of Canada. Terminstomo arcticus gen. nov. and sp. nov. was collected at a depth of 505 m and is characterized by lacking a heart and a stomochord that extends from the posterior end of the proboscis through the entire length of the collar. Allapasus fuscus sp. nov. was collected from a depth of 444 m and is characterized by a typhlosole process along the dorsal midline of the collar buccal cavity.

Selenomorphini is a small tribe previously comprising four genera and 21 species, with distribution in the New World and New Caledonia. Herein are described three new species of Pachyopsis Uhler from Brazil: P. fasciatus sp. nov., P. nigrifacis sp. nov., and P. pallidus sp. nov. Two new Brazilian monotypic genera, Parapachyopsis gen. nov. and Uhleriana gen. nov. are proposed, based on P. tenebris sp. nov. and U. tornatucephala sp. nov., and an updated key to genera of Selenomorphini is provided. Pachyopsis and Scaroidana are reviewed and the detailed morphology is redescribed, including characters not previously observed and the first illustrations of the female genitalia. The type-species Scaroidana flavida Osborn is redescribed and a key to males of Pachyopsis is provided. Additionally new State records for Brazil are reported for Pachyopsis vicosensis Coelho, Scaroidana flulvula Osborn and Scaroidana flavida Osborn. Detailed comparative notes between the new genera, Pachyopsis and Scaroidana are given.

Resumen

William Diller Matthew, who entered Columbia College in 1891 with the avowed intention of becoming a mining geologist, was influenced by Henry Fairfield Osborn to change his interests to vertebrate paleontology. In 1895 Osborn hired Matthew as assistant curator at the American Museum of Natural History, where he began his lifelong studies of fossil mammals. In line with his chosen field of research, Matthew made a series of collecting trips to western North America, from 1897 to 1908, devoted largely to the accumulation of fossil mammals, thus establishing a basis for much of his research.

To the Editor.— Osborn et al1 have reported a positive association between breast-feeding and neonatal hyperbilirubinemia in full-term infants. To give further support to the findings of Osborn et al, we wish to report the results of two similar studies that have been completed in two different hospitals. The first study was carried out in the nursery of the Second School of Medicine of Naples.2 Rooming-in was practiced from 9 am to 12 pm, and during the day, breastfed babies were only offered a supplement of 5% dextrose in water when appropriate.

Este es el segundo artículo que publica "FENIX" sobre los debates que han tenido públicamente los catalogadores en los últimos tiempos. El primero, titulado "Crisis en la Catalogación", y escrito por Andrew Osborn, se publicó en el N° 2 de esta revista. Aunque carecen de relación orgánica entre sí, presentan, sin embargo, ambos, analogías en el asunto y en la actitud. Comprendemos muy bien que tanto la contribución de Van Hoesen como la de Osborn no se dirigen a los legos o profanos en la materia. At Yale University, the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library's James Marshall and Marie-Louise Osborn Collection has recently acquired a fascinating manuscript of late sixteenth-century Roman Catholic devotional verse in English (Osborn Shelves a30). Following the liturgical year from Trinity Sunday to the feast of Saint Catherine on November 25th, these fifty-eight poems celebrate the solemnities, feasts, and memorials of the Roman liturgical calendar throughout the approximately twenty-six weeks comprising the major portion of ‘ordinary time’. Presumably, this collection would have had a companion volume, now lost, covering the period from Advent to Pentecost which includes the principal solemnities and great seasons of the liturgical year.
