Texto completoStudies were conducted with seeds of Bellary onion cv Nasik Red and Aggregatum onion cv Mutlur local to elicit information on (1) seed quality of size graded seeds, (2) Seed deterioration pattern under ambient as well as at different RH levels (3) Topography of seed deterioration sequences and (4) hydration -de-hydration treatment on maintenance of viability and vigour as well as productivity. Seed lots of both the type of onion can be processed using ISS170 wire mesh to improve the viability and vigour of seeds.
