Resumen
Tax is a region's income that is sourced from wealth and resources managed by the local government which is a source of Regional Original Income. This research aims to determine the effect of entertainment tax revenue, advertising tax and parking tax on regional tax revenue in the city of Yogyakarta. The population in this study is entertainment tax revenue, advertising tax, parking tax in the city of Yogyakarta. The research period starts from 2020 - 2022. The technical analysis of this data uses a multiple linear regression test with local tax revenue as the dependent variable as well as entertainment tax and advertising tax. The results of the research show that the entertainment tax variable and regional tax revenue do not have a significant influence, while the advertising tax variable and the parking tax variable have a significant influence on regional tax revenue.

With the development of Internet technology, intelligent parking system has been developed. China's intelligent parking management platform has been connected to the front-end parking points, integrating the parking points of the original information island into a parking network. Gather parking point data into a data center to comb and comprehensive data application provide parking operators scheduling management, financial management, operation analysis, marketing management, advertising management and parking service for owners to provide parking query parking reservation, parking path navigation, electronic payment, monthly, bill inquiry, convenient parking services. The MIT study leverages third-party services to parking recommender systems and provide personalized parking space recommendations for users according to past experience of the user Telecom Research Institute. Users are able to receive parking recommendations while maintaining privacy, because parking measurements weigh practicality against privacy. An intelligent multistory management system in parking depended on RFID technology and user preference review has been studied abroad, which effectively solves the problem of parking lot.

Resumen
This research is entitled Analysis of Hotel Tax Influence, Advertisement Tax and Parking Tax onRegional Original Income. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of hotel tax, advertisement taxand parking tax on local revenue in Central Java Province in 2009-2016. The data used are Regional Original Revenue, Hotel Tax, Advertising Tax and Parking Tax forSurakarta City, Semarang City, Pati Regency, Klaten Regency and Banyumas Regency in 2009-2016 toexamine the effect of hotel tax, advertisement tax and parking tax on local revenue. The analysis techniqueused is Multiple Regression Analysis. The results showed that Hotel Tax has a partial effect on Regional Original Income with a significantvalue of 0.009, Advertisement Tax has no partial effect on Regional Original Income with a significant valueof 0.349 and parking tax does not have a partial effect on Regional Original Income with a significant valueof 0.456. While the hotel tax, advertisement tax and parking tax simultaneously affect local revenue.

This paper presents the design and development of a technique for an Autonomous and Versatile mode Parking System (AVPS) that combines a various number of parking modes. The proposed approach is different from that of many developed parking systems. Previous research has focused on choosing only a parking lot starting from two parking modes (which are parallel and perpendicular). This research aims at developing a parking system that automatically chooses a parking lot starting from four parking modes. The automatic AVPS was proposed for the car-parking control problem, and could be potentially exploited for future vehicle generation. A specific mode can be easily computed using the proposed strategy. A variety of candidate modes could be generated using one developed real time VHDL (VHSIC Hardware Description Language) algorithm providing optimal solutions with performance measures. Based on simulation and experimental results, the AVPS is able to find and recognize in advance which parking mode to select. This combination describes full implementation on a mobile robot, such as a car, based on a specific FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) card. To prove the effectiveness of the proposed innovation, an evaluation process comparing the proposed technique with existing techniques was conducted and outlined.

This paper deals with a simple smart vehicles parking system by using basic components like micro controller, IR Sensors, Servo Motor, LCD etc. Parking, offered in malls, shopping areas, etc., are provided with help of a person which is very time consuming. Because of this, we created a straightforward vehicle parking system that uses IR sensors installed at parking spaces to detect the presence of parked vehicles, an LCD display board that shows the number of vacant and occupied parking spaces, and an LCD display board that shows the number of parking spaces currently available. Therefore, the research methodology work solution creates and implements an experimental setup that will regulate traffic in parking areas while also informing drivers about free spots. The main function of the servomotor is to permit and prohibited vehicles in and out of indoor spaces by opening and turning off the entry or exit barrier according to the data obtained from the IR sensors which are present on the entry gate, exit gate, parking spots.

Resumen
The development of information technology is currently growing rapidly, moreover the formation of The purpose of this study is to find answers to determine the effectiveness of parking tax and the contribution of parking tax to local revenue, where in the era of regional autonomy, local governments are required to always increase their regional revenues, such as increasing local tax revenues through billboard tax revenues. Tax revenue through advertising billboards in the city of Batam provides an undeniable contribution to regional revenue. However, in practice it has not yet come close to its true potential, besides that the preparation of this tax target is only based on previous years' experience. The length of this research was conducted from April to July 2016. The object of this research is Batam City Dispenda. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling, namely the sampling technique using certain considerations or purposive sampling using financial reports from 2015 to 2019. The results of hypothesis testing using the multiple regression analysis method show that simultaneously the effectiveness of parking tax and the contribution of parking tax has a significant effect on local revenue. While partially the effectiveness of parking tax has a significant relationship to local revenue, however, the contribution of parking tax has a significant effect on local revenue at the Batam City Dispenda

This paper is regarding planning a PC-based observance parking system supported IoT that may be applied at the park-like at the searching advanced and offices. This paper focuses on the event of front panel victimization National Instrument's LABVIEW package and Node MCU, Personal Computer (PC), and NODE MCU. The traditional parking lot system doesn't have a board and it cannot show the vacancy of automobile parking space. The user must gamble to hunt any vacancy and need to watch for the opposite automobile to exit from the automobile parking space. Up to the traditional parking system, it'll create the automobile parking space become well organized and user friendly. This paper can produce an automobile detection system by developing a PC-based front panel of parking lot operation knowledge. The system can convert the output from the sensing element to the programmable language to the computer-based mostly board. The board aims to indicate the standing and automobile parking space vacancy. The NODE MCU is employed to supply interfacing between hardware and package. By victimization Lab, VIEW, and Node MCU, the simulation of the physical system will be developed to watch the quantities to be measured and the standing of the instrumentation within the plant from remote purposes while not accessing the inaccessible areas of the plant. Through the traditional parking system victimization Lab VIEW and Node MCU, the front panel is with success developed and explained by planning a physical model of automobile parking space with automobile detector operation. Resumen
Parking in congested places frequently leads to major issues like air pollution, traffic jams, etc. This paper presents a prototype for an Internet of Things (IoT) based central car parking management system that attempts to minimize car parking problems. The proposed system is relatively low-cost, scalable and consumes less power compared to other parking systems. This system uses Arduino microcontroller-based TCRT5000 infrared sensors to detect vehicles in the parking spaces. XBee peripheral modules are located in different parking lots at different locations to transmit the sensed data to XBee central module that is placed close to the parking lots. The central node then updates all data to the Blynk IoT platform via Wi-Fi wireless technology present in the NodeMCU board. The availability of parking lots can be viewed using a smartphone through Blynk application.

The Parking Guidance and Information (PGI) system is an important application of Intelligent Transport System (ITS), which has been shown to be an effect service for traffic information and parking management. The roadside Variable Message Sign (VMS) board has been the usual media for the publication of parking information in early PGI systems, and its performance over the years has been studied via simulations and questionnaire surveys. However, survey results show significant discrepancies across various traffic networks in different areas. More recently, parking information services have become available on other media such as mobile and in-vehicle devices. In contrast to VMS-based systems, PGI systems based on new media, especially the in-vehicle class of devices, have not been studied separately. This thesis aims to conduct research into the performance of PGI systems based on invehicle devices, by simulating and comparing a VMS-based PGI system with a Vehicle On-Board Device (VOBD)-based PGI system. A specially designed simulator utilising a routing algorithm known as the Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) routing protocol in computer networks, has been created in MATLAB. The simulation minimises the influence of specific structures of traffic networks that may be found in some networks, but not others. This is done by simulating a grid-based road network where the capacities of parking stations and their geographic distribution are randomly allocated within specific zones, and the parking demand in each run of simulations is variable load. The results of simulations, including the information reliability, reduction of travel time, demand on on-street parking and the utilisation rates of parking stations, are analysed for multiple scenarios where the compliance rate, the information update policy and the strategy of human behaviour are varied. The analyses reveal a significant advantage of VOBD-based PGI systems over VMS-based PGI systems in terms of the quality of information and the reduction of travel time. At the same time, the analyses highlight the limitations of a PGI system when the demand and supply of parking stations is not appropriately balanced.

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a rehabilitation center, which is located in the cadastral area of the village Mušov on the border of the village Pasohlávky. It is a two-storey rehabilitation center with a gym and a partial basement. The thesis deepens the initiative of Thermal Pasohlávky, which plans to build a spa resort in the same section, combining elements of spa care, recreation and sports use. The object fulfills the function of a rehabilitation medical facility. The center is designed for up to 50 patients and is functionally divided into three parts. The first part consists of rehabilitation. We will find here several exercise rooms, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, doctor's office with waiting room and reception. Rehabilitation also includes a gym with access to the terrace and park. On the second floor we can find specialized department of ergotherapy for people with different types of disabilities and second functional part of the bulding designed for staff facilities. It is made up of staffing facilities, dressing rooms, offices and meeting rooms. The third functional part consist from the technical background of the building and is located on the ground floor. The object is designed as a wall system, built from sand-lime bricks km beta Sendvix and insulated with the ETICS thermal insulation made from mineral wool. Horizontal supporting structures are designed as reinforced concrete. The entire building is roofed with a flat roof. Wooden windows and doors are used in the building to fill the holes. Before the building is a parking lot for employees and visitors of the rehabilitation facility. The design respects the principles of barrier-free solutions. The bachelor thesis is elaborated in the form of a project documentation for the execution of the construction.

LED display boards are high power consumption products. The purpose of this thesis is to reduce the power consumption of the display boards. In order to achieve the purpose, this research changed some circuit components and then removed the original circuit resistance on the driver circuit. An improved circuit of the power source is designed and implemented in this thesis. The improved circuit is connected to the driver circuit of the power source of the display board. The voltage of the LED driver IC constant-current output terminals is able to be controlled under suitable low voltage and remains stable. The improved circuit of the power source controls the output voltage of the buck converter to the desired low voltage level. Therefore, substantial amount of energy can be saved. Although the existing LED display boards cannot be satisfied with the condition of the power source test. An experimental system is used to test the function of the power source improvement circuit. The result shows that the voltage on the LED driver IC constant-current output terminals can be controlled within the desired range.

The Master's thesis focuses on the current on-board magazines of carriers operating in the Czech Republic. On-board magazines, ranking among the customer magazines are set in the context of marketing and media communication and subsequently defined on the basis of distinctive content and formal characteristics and communication objectives. There are seven current on-board magazines analyzed within the thesis (Review, Travel Service Magazine, ČD pro vás, Žlutý, LEO Express, Leopold and Můj vláček). Methodological background of this thesis is the qualitative content analysis, specifically two partial research methods: description and comparison. It evaluated thematic structure of each journal, graphic design and linguistic level, the historical development and the distribution method. Part of the analysis is also focused on blending of advertising and editorial content, which were investigated through framing analysis. The results of the qualitative analysis were verified by questionnaire survey.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of commodity promotion activities on the United States' hazelnut farmer's economic welfare. Commodity promotion activities, such as generic advertising and research, are the responsibilities of government mandated commodity commissions, such as the Hazelnut Marketing Board (HMB). The HMB is a state mandated cartel, organized under the Agricultural Marketing Agreement Act of 1937 (i.e. the Marketing Order) and amended in 1981, 1986, and 1989 (7 CFR Part 982, FR Doc. 81-14045 FR Doc. 86-18438, FR Doc. 89-26187). HMB promotion activities are funded by taxes levied on U.S. hazelnut farmers. To ensure that promotion provides a net benefit to these farmers this research uses Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) of the assessments under various assumptions about the market's conditions. A non-linear system of equations (SEM) with Monte Carlo simulation was utilized to produce these estimates.

This thesis presents a case study of Canada’s first Black owned radio station, FLOW 93.5 FM, to demonstrate how official multiculturalism, in its formulation and implementation, negates Canada’s history of slavery and racial inequality. As a response to diversity, multiculturalism shifts the focus away from racial inequality to cultural difference. Consequently, Black self-determination is unauthorized. By investigating FLOW’s radio license applications, programming and advertisements, this thesis reveals just how the vision of a Black focus radio station dissolved in order to fit the practical and ideological framework of multiculturalism so that Blackness could be easily commodified. This thesis concludes that FLOW is not a Black radio station but instead is a multicultural radio station – one that specifically markets a de-politicized Blackness. As a result, multiculturalism poses serious consequences for imagining and engaging with Blackness as a politics that may address the needs of Black communities in Canada.

This qualitative study uses narrative inquiry (Connelly & Clandinin, 1988, 1990, 2001) and self-study to investigate ways to further understand and facilitate the integration of holistic philosophies of education with media literacy pedagogies. As founder and director of the Youth Media Literacy Project and a self-titled Imagitator (one who agitates imagination), I have spent over 10 years teaching media literacy in various high schools, universities, and community centres across North America. This study will focus on my own personal practical knowledge (Connelly & Clandinin, 1982) as a culture jammer, educator and cancer survivor to illustrate my original vision of a ‘holistic media literacy pedagogy’. This research reflects on the emergence and impact of holistic media literacy in my personal and professional life and also draws from relevant interdisciplinary literature to challenge and synthesize current insights and theories of media literacy, holistic education and culture jamming.

AbstractThis chapter studies the exchanges of ideas and experiences related to public information within the Nordic region and beyond. As an empirical case, the analytical focus centres on the Swedish Board of Public Information (Nämnden för samhällsinformation, 1971–1981) and traces the various contacts—through seminars, study visits, conferences, and so on—that the agency initiated and was part of during the 1970s. By examining the archival material through the concepts of epistemic community and circulation of knowledge, the analysis shows how issues of public information attracted various actors—which represented different social sectors (bureaucracy, advertising industry, academia, etc.) and different interests—that met across national borders in attempts to address challenges of communicating societal important information to citizens.

Resumen
due to the problems of large prediction error and inaccuracy in the parking space prediction system, an intelligent parking space prediction system based on RFID tag is proposed and designed. Firstly, the overall system structure is given, and the driver board, PC, camera, encoder, data preparation module, parking space detection module and path planning module are analyzed; In the process of software design, RFID tag positioning method is introduced to optimize the accuracy of the system in predicting the remaining parking spaces. The experimental results show that the system can effectively reduce the prediction error and improve the prediction accuracy.

Abstract On a warm saturday morning in August 1992, on Chicago’s South Side, several hundred people gathered in the basement of the Carter Temple CME Church. Carter Temple, which borders Wabash and Michigan avenues along the Seventy-ninth Street corridor, is a part of the Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) Church, a majority black denomination historically connected to the United Methodist Church South. This formerly all-white denomination broke with northern United Methodists over the issue of slavery on the eve of the Civil War. On this particular morning, before the regular Sunday service, the church’s parking lot was packed with cars, many with stickers proclaiming their faith with such phrases as “God, my co-pilot,” “Jesus on Board,” and “Christ: Try Him, You’ll Like Him.” Surrounding streets provided parking spaces for latecomers.

New technologies have brought a fresh set of problems to the world of advertising and publicity, such as a multiplicity of screens and media. This is on top of the problems that already beset that world, such as saturation and the lack of credibility of advertising messages. The industry's response has been the use of non-conventional media, aimed at reaching the consumer in a different way. To determine whether this media has become a standardised, across-the-board phenomenon, a quantitative and qualitative study of 125 integrated campaigns was done that won the major awards at the El Sol “Latin American Advertising Festival,” and The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity between 2015 and 2021. The boundaries between conventional and non-conventional media are now decidedly less clear-cut, so much so that the information media, and consumers as well, have become, albeit unconsciously, a part of the advertising and publicity machinery.

This chapter explores the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board during the early-twentieth century, as it attempted to adapt to the changing economic landscape. Jarvis analyses the effectiveness of the Board’s strategies in regard to the following: willingness to change; resistance to cutting advertising; and aggressiveness toward the competitor trades of Manchester, Hull, and London. It concludes by claiming the Board’s core belief - that expansion and upgrades would keep ships interested - was challenged by war.

Iegor Gran’s two humorous novels poke fun at the self-righteousness, opportunism, anti-humanism, catastrophism, and humorlessness of some environmentalists. More an ecoheretic than an ecosceptic, Gran provides a Rabelaisian and Voltairean critique of environmentalists who take themselves too seriously. O.N.G! recounts a ridiculous war between two NGOs forced to share office space. Despite their lofty ideals, everyday life proves too difficult to manage, and their relationship degenerates into a bloody war over such trifles as parking and bulletin board space. L’Écologie en bas de chez moi is above all a critique of Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s 2009 environmental film Home, which Gran denounces as paternalistic and opportunistic, comparing it unfavorably to Leni Riefenstahl’s Triumph of the Will, a documentary about Hitler’s 1934 Nuremberg Rally. Both are propaganda films featuring aerial photography and stirring music, but Gran finds Riefenstahl much more creative.

<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X) is considered an enabler for fully automated driving. It can provide the needed information about traffic situations and road users ahead of time compared to the onboard sensors which are limited to line-of-sight detections. This work presents the investigation of the effectiveness of utilizing the C-V2X technology for a valet parking collision mitigation feature. For this study a LiDAR was mounted at the FEV North America parking lot in a hidden intersection with a C-V2X roadside unit. This unit was used to process the LiDAR point cloud and transmit the information of the detected objects to an onboard C-V2X unit. The received data was provided as input to the path planning and controls algorithms so that the onboard controller can make the right decision while approaching the hidden intersection. FEV’s Smart Vehicle Demonstrator was utilized to test the C-V2X setup and the developed algorithms. Test results show that the vehicle was able to respond to the information sent by the C-V2X system effectively and perform the needed maneuvers to avoid collision with the objects not able to be detected by the on-board sensors successfully.</div></div>

Resumen
The subject of the study is the ideological, financial, economic and socio-social conditions of the publishing house and the editorial board of the magazine “New Pathway” Winnipeg period 1941-1977. The main objectives is to determine the peculiarities of the conditions of publishing a Ukrainian magazine in exile, which provides for the systematization and introduction into scientific circulation of factual material on creative and material activities of the “New Pathway” and socio-political environment that influenced the information and ideological and business policy of the publication. The basis of the research methodology is axiological, cultural, systemic approaches; methods of historicism, analysis, synthesis, generalization were used. The study provides not only a description of the historical path of the publication in this period, but also the reasons for miscalculations and successes, both financial and economic and socio-political, which allowed not only to stay in the information field and market for more than ninety years, technical circumstances of its existence, the political struggle in the new wave of emigration after World War II, changes in demographic and linguistic situation among the Ukrainian diaspora in Canada. The reasons for the situational increase and decrease in the activity of the publication’s subscribers were identified; the mechanisms of expanding the readership, attracting new readers and authors are analyzed; confirmed that the efforts of editors and directors of the publishing house at the initial stage of the Winnipeg period created and strengthened the material and technical base of the publishing house, conducted advertising campaigns and direct work to attract new subscribers and readers; The significance of the study is that for the first time in Ukraine the information about the Winnipeg period of the Ukrainian-Canadian weekly “New Pathway”, its financial and financial problems and creative and editorial successes was analyzed and summarized, thus filling another page in the history of Ukrainian diaspora periodicals.
