Resumen
We study the spectra of excitation and photoluminescence of CaAl2O4:Eu3+ nanoluminophores in a wide interval of temperatures and laser excitation levels from 40 to 2.3 · 103 kW/cm2. The photoluminescence spectra of CaAl2O4:Eu3+ have the shape of narrow lines and are located in the region 550–750 nm of the visible spectrum. An extremely high stability of the position and shape of the photoluminescence spectra of nanopowders under investigation is established at high levels of laser excitation up to 2.3 · 103 kW/cm2 at a constant luminescence efficiency up to 60 kW/cm2. A further increase in the excitation level leads to a reversible drop in the photoluminescence efficiency. The threshold of an irreversible drop in the luminescence efficiency has not been reached.

Resumen
The paper summarizes the literature data, considers methods for producing highly dispersed forms of zinc oxide doped with rare earth elements. Alloying ZnO with rare earths and 4d transition elements is a popular method of manipulating the optical properties of ZnO systems. These systems may also have their own ferromagnetism due to their magnetic moment transmitted to 4f and 4d electrons. Investigations of authors in this field with the aim of using ZnO in metal / oxide composites are also described: the properties of zinc oxide doped REM powders obtained by various technological methods are studied. We studied the work on obtaining the described structures, the selection of the best technological parameters for the growth of thin films. In connection with the development of nanotechnology, REE compounds have become even more popular and are used to produce nanoluminophores, thin films, microporous membranes, and sol-gel glasses.

Resumen
Materials that generate pure, single-color emission are desirable in the development and manufacturing of modern optoelectronic devices. This work shows the possibility of generating pure, green up-conversion luminescence upon the excitation of Er3+-doped nanomaterials with a 785 nm NIR laser. The up-converting inorganic nanoluminophores YVO4: Er3+ and YVO4: Yb3+ and Er3+ were obtained using a hydrothermal method and subsequent calcination. The synthesized vanadate nanomaterials had a tetragonal structure and crystallized in the form of nearly spherical nanoparticles. Up-conversion emission spectra of the nanomaterials were measured using laser light sources with λex = 785 and 975 nm. Importantly, under the influence of the mentioned laser irradiation, the as-prepared samples exhibited bright green up-conversion luminescence that was visible to the naked eye. Depending on the dopant ions used and the selected excitation wavelengths, two (green) or three (green and red) bands originating from erbium ions appeared in the emission spectra. In this way, by changing the UC mechanisms, pure green luminescence of the material can be obtained. The proposed strategy, in combination with various single-doped UC nanomaterials activated with Er3+, might be beneficial for modern optoelectronics, such as light-emitting diodes with a rich color gamut for back-light display applications.

This manuscript focuses on the development of a new family of inorganic luminescent nanoparticles. The originality of this work consists in the chemical functionalization of nanosized silica by luminescent transition metal complexes. We have chosen ruthenium(II) and europium(III) precursors for their interesting optic properties. If the first has broad but intense emission bands, the second is charaterized by a very sharp bands spectrum of lanthanides. We have undertaken the synthesis of organosilyldipyridine derivatives containing one alkoxysilane function. The two sites, bidentate ligand i. E. Dipyridyl group and a trialkoxysilane function, give an interesting silane for both complexing and grafting properties expected in this work. We report on a systematic investigation of the grafting reaction using commercial organosilanes and this general procedure was applied to our new bifunctional ligands, to ten Ru(II) and four Eu(III) complexes. Once grafted, the chemical integrity of the molecules was preserved together with the size and the morphology of silica nanoparticles. This work demonstrates that about one millimol of organosilane per gram of silica was well-distributed on the nanoparticles surface. Nanohybrids have expected luminescence properties, so we have shown that it will be possible to combine transition metal chemistry and nanoscale silicated material chemistry. Although the results are preliminary, work is now in progress to extensively study the luminescence properties of our nanomaterials. Also this grafting protocol may be now applied to various metallic complexes for other properties such as catalytic, optical, electrochemical or coordination

This work is devoted to the development of nanophosphors of formulations β-NaBiF4 and α-NaYF4 monodoped Eu3+, Tb3+, Pr3+, codoped with Yb3+ and tridoped with Ce3+. These materials were prepared by coprecipitation, and the synthesis parameters were optimized to produce nanocubes (NCs) with edge lengths between 35 and 65 nm, reproducibly and with a narrow size distribution. The obtained NCs were characterized from a structural (XRD, IR), morphological (SEM and TEM) and optical (photoluminescence) point of view, making it possible to confirm their crystalline purities on the one hand and to record spectral distributions of luminescence in accordance with those expected on the other hand. Analysis of emission spectra and fluorescence decays, under UV and / or near infrared excitations, has demonstrated that efficient Stokes and anti-Stokes conversion processes occur in these NCs. The results are discussed by considering various paths of radiative de-excitations and energy transfer, making it possible to conclude that the two processes can be generated on the same NC, even if the latter are in competition in certain cases
