Texto completoThe digital growth of the construction industry led to BIM (Building Information Modeling). Developed for buildings, BIM is later used on linear infrastructure projects. Such projects require end-to-end control of information. PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) supports digital continuity in the manufacturing industry. Studies evaluate the relevance of a complementary use of the BIM and PLM approaches for linear infrastructure projects. With an adaptation of methods used for building construction, those studies are mostly restricted to the implementation of data repositories. This makes it difficult to consider the infrastructure post-construction phase, where the 3D model is no longer a digital model, but a digital twin. This research work consists in developing a strategy for the design, the implementation and the operations and maintenance of a linear infrastructure. The digital twin of the infrastructure is the target of our approach. It will take into consideration not only BIM and PLM methodologies, but also any other data source positioning the infrastructure in its geographical environment. Data aggregator, our digital twin should make it possible to manage the lifecycle of a linear infrastructure. This system is tested on a specific linear infrastructure, a level crossing. Digital continuity and data traceability are important factors for those constructions. Through the digital twin, our proposal helps to follow the data, and thus to link operational data to the design and construction data of the linear infrastructure

Texto completoIT infrastructures are part and parcel of our daily lives, and have become of vital importance over the last few decades. At the heart of our banking system, transport facilities and hospitals, their omnipresence and the implications of their failure make them a prime target for attackers. Beyond the security risk, these infrastructures are subject to a whole range of safety risks, from climatic events to industrial fires, to the sheer wear and tear of mechanical components. These risks, although foreseeable, are not always taken into account by companies, and can lead to potentially catastrophic consequences. Our work encompasses the entire risk management process. We defend the thesis that correct and exhaustive modeling of infrastructures allows the deduction of a set of safety and security properties constituting a satisfying risk analysis of the information system under study. We propose a set of recommendations and methods to collaboratively conduct infrastructure modeling and risk analysis. Finally, we present a formally specified infrastructure description language, CL/I, linking infrastructure models, formal verification and functional supervision

Texto completoIn the context of the energy transition, with the use of new energies as a priority, we propose to study the energy performance of solar hybrid roads. An exhaustive study of climatic conditions makes it possible to establish the energy gains and losses of these systems, then a numerical model is developed to couple thermal diffusion, hydraulic convection and radiative transfers by the finite element method with the possibility of state changes. This model is implemented in a Matlab core and applied to annual meteorological data for different cities to establish and map energy potential. An analysis of the results with regard to climate makes it possible to highlight a link between this potential and the notion of a unified degree day, adapted from the building's thermal energy, thus allowing the engineer to quickly estimate the energy potential based on climatic data. During winter operation, the objective is to prevent from black ice occurring on the roads. A temperature control strategy based on the adjoint state method is implemented. A climate analysis is again carried out to take humidity into account to determine heating needs. Other frost protection solutions, based on electric heating, were also modelled and subjected to these control strategies in order to highlight the possibility of significant energy savings. These control laws have beengeneralized to problems of property reconstruction in a background and an application combining this thermal approach with an electromagnetism-based approach is proposed

Texto completoHowever, the information management within an infrastructure project (road, rail, airport and other civil engineering works) also requires the use of specific methodologies and concepts like the concepts of ”level of detail” , ”level of development” or ”level of abstraction”. They are used to describe the relevant information that have to be exchanged between stakeholders, according to the modeling objectives in order to meet the project requirements. In the specific context of infrastructure projects, these tools are poorly defined, insufficient and sometimes bring to contradictory models. With a view to progress towards concurrent engineering design, our research is a contribution in two parts. Based on the principles of systems engineering, the first part is about to provide a methodology for requirements and relevant information identification to respond and control this response. The second part describes the project conceptual data model : it deals with the structure of the objects that model in connection with the requirements identification. This proposal is accompanied by a redefinition of several types of existing levels (detail, development, information, abstraction, etc.). These inputs are tested on a project of urban freeway in an industrial context. The exchange of information is at the center of BIM. The accuracy and quality of exchanged information participate in both technical and managerial project success. Our proposed methodology allows to change practices and the vision that the construction sector looks forward to the information it creates. It also participates in the digitalization of the construction sector
