Resumen
Der infolge der Habitatfragmentierung eingeschränkte Individuenaustausch zwischen Populationen gilt als einer der Hauptgründe für ein erhöhtes Aussterberisiko insbesondere bei standorttreuen Arten mit geringem Ausbreitungspotential. Einige Untersuchungen an Heuschrecken deuten jedoch an, dass das Ausbreitungsvermögen standorttreuer Arten bisher möglicherweise unterschätzt worden ist. Es wird angenommen, daß bestimmte Umweltbedingungen bei diesen Arten Ausbreitungsverhalten auslösen und ihr Ausbreitungsvermögen erhöhen kann. An der Kurzflügeligen Beißschrecke Metrioptera brachyptera (L., 1761) wurden in einem ersten Schritt die Emigrationsraten bei verschiedenen Populationsdichten in 'Mikrokosmen' (Käfigpopulationen) untersucht. Der Anteil der Individuen, die aus den Käfigen auswanderten, war positiv mit der Individuendichte in den Käfigen korreliert. In einem zweiten Schritt wurden sowohl Indivduen, die unter Dichtestress gehalten wurden, als auch Tiere, die keinen hohen Individuendichten ausgesetzt waren, auf einem Fußballplatz freigelassen und ihr Ausbreitungsmuster untersucht. 'Gestresste' Individuen dispergierten signifikant schneller und weiter als 'ungestresste'. Die Ergebnisse weisen darauf hin, dass Ausbreitungsverhalten induzierbar ist und auch bei standorttreuen Arten auftreten kann. Resumen
Justinas K. Karazija (1892–1991) priklausė pirmajai JAV ateivių lietuvių kartai. Jis atstovavo žemesniam socialiniam sluoksniui (plieno pramonės darbininkas) ir buvo kairiųjų judėjimo (socialdemokratų) dalyvis. Karazijos asmeninė biblioteka sukurta iš 1891–1976 m. išeivijos ir Tėvynės spaudos leidinių: knygų, periodikos, kartografijos. Gyvenimo pabaigoje pats savininkas ją bibliografiškai aprašė ir padovanojo Amerikos lietuvių kultūros archyvui (ALKA) Putname (Putnam, Connecticut, USA). Straipsnyje biblioteka analizuojama šešiais aspektais: leidinių amžiaus, kalbų, spausdinimo vietos, turinio, leidinių tipologijos ir jos individualumo lygio. Tyrimo duomenys leidžia teigti, kad biblioteka turėjo įtakos asmenybės formavimuisi, teikė intelektualinės brandos galimybių ir kūrybos paskatų. Kartu ji simbolizavo minimalizuotą, perkeltinę tėvynę, orientuotą į tautinio tapatumo išsaugojimą. Biblioteka padėjo kurti tautiniu tapatumu grįstą fizinę aplinką ir dvasinį mikrokosmą. Karazijos atvejis įrodo, kad šis savitumas būdingas ne tik išeivijos aukštesnio, bet ir žemesnio, darbininkų, socialinio visuomenės sluoksnio nariams. Jiems asmeninės bibliotekos sukurtas mikrokosmas taip pat leido pažinti ir prognozuoti išeivijos bendruomenės būsimus pokyčius, numatyti savo vietą ir vaidmenį joje.

Konstruktywizm i intuicja. Analiza utworu fortepianowego Béli Bartóka Tükröződés z VI tomu zbioru Mikrokosmos Przedmiotem badań jest utwór fortepianowy Béli Bartóka: Tükrözödés z VI tomu zbioru Mikrokosmos. Autor analizując szczegółowo tę kompozycję, dowodzi, iż strukturalizm polifonii zaproponowany przez węgierskiego kompozytora i jej tonalne podłoże mają głębokie podłoże estetyczno-filozoficzne. Bartók poszedł własną drogą kompozytorską, na którą znaczny wpływ miało jego zainteresowanie folklorem. Na jego oryginalny język muzyczny złożyły się m.in. takie czynniki, jak: swobodne operowanie harmoniką, zwięzłość wypowiedzi muzycznej, właściwa melodiom i rytmom ludowym, a obca ekspresyjnej poetyce wykreowanej przez twórców XIX wieku, czy śmiałość w stosowaniu dysonansowych współbrzmień. Eine Analyse von Béla Bartóks Klavierstück Subject and Reflection aus dem Mikrokosmos Das Forschungsthema dieses Artikels ist ein Klavierstück von Béla Bartók: Subject and Reflection (Tükrözödés) aus dem 6. Band des Mikrokosmos. Der Komponist beweist, dass der Strukturalismus der Polyphonie und seine tonale Grundlage einen tiefen ästhetisch-philosophischen Grund haben. Bartók ist stilistisch seinen eigenen Weg gegangen, der maßgeblich von seinem Interesse an der Folklore beeinflusst wurde. Seine musikalische Sprache ist durch mehrere Faktoren geprägt, u.a.: freier Umgang mit der Harmonik, Prägnanz des musikalischen Ausdrucks, typisch für Volksmelodien und Volksrhythmen, der expressiven Poetik der Komponisten des 19. Jahrhunderts fremd sind, oder Mut in der Verwendung dissonanter Akkorde.

Straipsnyje, remiantis Nikolajaus Kuziečio ir Paracelso veikalais, siekiama apibendrinti mokymą apie žmogų kaip mikrosmą Renesanso filosofijoje. Pabrėžiama magijos ir alchemijos įtaka šios epochos filosofijai. Tik išsiaiškindamas gamtoje paliktus dieviškus ženklus, pažindamas tikruosius vardus, žmogus gali suprasti Šventojo rašto ir Gamtos knygos raides. Paracelsui žmogus kaip mikrokosmas yra tapatus makrokosmui. Žmogus sukoncentruoja savyje viso pasaulio esmes, gamtos filosofija tampa antropologija. Paracelso alchemija – tai sąmonės patirties, įgaunamos maginiu-simboliniu būdu, išraiška. Tai atotrūkio tarp žemiško ir dangiško, vidinio ir išorinio, pirminės materijos ir Dievo įveikimo patirtis. Daroma išvada, kad Renesanso filosofijoje astrologija, alchemija ir magija buvo ne antropocentriškai orientuoto humanizmo užbaiga, bet jo praplėtimas ir pagilinimas naujomis formomis, tai ne tik pasaulio desakralizacijos, bet ir žmogaus sudievinimo pagrindas. Žmogus perima dieviškąsias savybes, jis tampa gamtos valdovu ir jos gydytoju alchemine prasme. Antropocentrizmas susipina su kvaziteologine tendencija.

The Human Being as a Microcosm: Grundtvig's Great Poem on Human Life’By Niels Henrik GregersenAll of Grundtvig’s hymns are about human existence but only one hymn is actually entitled ‘Human Life’ (Sang- Værk IV, 173). This long poem from 1847, widely neglected in Grundtvig scholarship, describes the human potential for growth and transformation, and does so with a consistent use of five symbols of nature: Nature as star, rock, ocean, bird and flower. Through the lens of these five natural symbols (all of which have strong Biblical allusions) Grundtvig describes seven steps of human self-transformation in the image and likeness of God.The egotistic human heart is, first, likened to the coldness of the heavenly stars. In a second step, the superiority of humanity over nature is described in terms of the human capacity to discern life’s meaning (the eye is greater than the star) and to express it in terms of language (the word is even greater than the eye). In a third step, the human being is described as comprising nature in its fullness (the star is in the eye as well as behind the brow). In a fourth step, the human being is described in its painful lack of eternity, despite its fullness compared with other created beings. In a fifth step, a Christology of longing is presented, according to which Christ comprises what the human being does not comprise: time and eternity in one person. Thus, the high star of Bethlehem leads the human mind to the low crib of the poor child, in whom nature and spirit, time and eternity were united; by contrast, human existence is temporal but is longing for eternity. In a sixth step, humanity is transformed into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ. This process finally leads, in the seventh step, to a new song, a praising of God which takes up and yet renews Psalm 8 of the Old Testament.It is argued that Grundtvig understands the human being after the model of Christ. The notion of imago dei is portrayed in similitudine Christi. According to Col 1,15 f, Christ comprises both the heavens and earth, both the visible and the invisible realms of reality. Just as Jesus Christ was God and man in one person (»distinctively, yet not separated« as it was said in the Chalcedonian formula of 431), so does the human being comprise both the natural and spiritual realm of reality. Christ is the archetypical microcosm, humanity is the ectypical microcosm who, ideally at least, combines nature and spirit.On this interpretation, Grundtvig is seen as a Christian Platonist, who consistently uses the ‘principle of plenitude’ (Arthur Lovej oy), but combines it with a strong emphasis on the human being as a microcosm of both the physical and the spiritual realms of reality. This Platonic-Christian notion of humanity as ‘double microcosm’ explains why Grundtvig, in one and the same poem, can describe human existence as being nature in its fulness, and yet as superior to nature. It also explains his critical stance vis-a-vis the Romantic philosophy of nature. Also Grundtvig’s nephew, the philosopher Heinrich Steffens, used the idea of humanity as a microcosm in his famous Prolegomena to Philosophical Lectures from 1803. But unlike Steffens, Grundtvig refuses to speak of a gradual transformation from nature to the emergence of the spirit. In Grundtvig’s view, there is no slide from nature to spirit; rather, the spiritual realm is prior to the realm of physical nature. Against this background, Grundtvig could only understand the Romantic vision of humanity as the spirit of nature as a bisected version of the full Christian idea of the human being as a microcosm. On this important point, Grundtvig departed from his fellow-Romanticists.

AbstractIbn al-Fāriḍ (gest. 632/1235), einer der bedeutendsten Dichter des Sufismus, entwickelt in seinem großen Lehrgedicht „Die Ordnung des Weges“ (Naẓm as-sulūk) eine mystische Ästhetik, indem er beschreibt, wie der Mensch die göttliche Schönheit (ǧamāl) erkennen kann, die sich in der irdischen Schönheit (ḥusn) manifestiert. Beide arabischen Begriffe haben in seinen Versen keine moralische Konnotation, worin er sich von anderen Sufis unterscheidet. Es ist ein Prozess der sinnlichen Wahrnehmung, an dem Geist (rūḥ) und Seele (nafs), sowie alle Sinnesorgane beteiligt sind. In diesem Prozess nehmen die Sinne die irdische Schönheit wahr und melden sie der Seele. Diese gibt die Botschaft an den Geist weiter, der allein imstande ist, die göttliche Essenz in der Materie zu erkennen. Am Ende des mystischen Weges, den Ibn al-Fāriḍ aus eigener Erfahrung schildert, hat er selbst die Stufe der kosmischen Einheit erreicht. Dort ist jede Trennung in Mikrokosmos und Makrokosmos aufgehoben. Im Mikrokosmos, im Menschen, fallen alle körperlichen Funktionen zusammen, sind austauschbar. Auf der Ebene des Makrokosmos sind die irdische Schönheit und die göttliche Schönheit eins geworden.

Alterskriminalität wird aus Sicht eines erfahrenen Polizeibeamten im Bezirksdienst anhand von prägnanten Fällen dargestellt. Hierbei wird deutlich, dass die Fußgängerzone einer durchschnittlichen deutschen Kleinstadt ein Mikrokosmos ist, in dem sich wie in einem Brennglas gesellschaftliche Entwicklungen zeigen. Ansatzweise werden die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen polizeilichen Wirkens skizziert sowie die Notwendigkeit, vernetzt, authentisch und integrativ mit verschiedenen gesellschaftlichen Gruppen und Berufsgruppen zusammen zu arbeiten.

The article deals with the essentially communication-based working performance of executives in service business by focussing on the aspect of corruption. From interviews with executives one can generally conclude how their working performance results in a reinforced functionalization of morals. These morals represent the other side of the -at timescorrupted circumstances at the place of work. Departing from an interactional and personal level the author continues with his socio-phenomenological description concerning two further levels: the level of the company and the level of the "empire".

Przedmiotem artykułu są niektóre związki i analogie między polityką kształtowania przestrzeni miejskiej a polityką publiczną w szerokim rozumieniu, zarówno w wymiarze miasta (tu na przykładzie Warszawy), jak i generalnym, ogólnopaństwowym. Zasadne wydaje się twierdzenie, że stan przestrzeni publicznej w sensie fizycznym w bardzo dużym stopniu zależy od dominującej koncepcji oraz kondycji polityki publicznej prowadzonejna różnych szczeblach. Ale i vice versa, tzn. ta ostatnia jest często produktem lub w jakimś sensie odzwierciedleniem utrwalonych wzorów traktowania miejsc powszechnie dostępnych i uczęszczanych, np. w środowisku miejskim.

Religiöse Bildung in einer globalisierten Welt findet unter anderem mithilfe von Repräsentationen statt. Die Religionsbuchreihe „Kursbuch Religion“ als Mikrokosmos wird auf ihre Repräsentationen des Globalen Südens unter Bezug auf postkoloniale Theorien in diesem Beitrag näher in den Blick genommen. Zum einen werden diese Ergebnisse diskutiert, zum anderen wird ihr Anregungspotenzial für postkoloniale Repräsentationen in der religiösen Bildung sowie für Repräsentationen des Makrokosmos Religion im Kontext Globalen Lernens nachgezeichnet.

This study offers an alternative to the diatonic interaction model to explain Bartók's interest in the octatonic collection. The special ability of the octatonic collection to be partitioned into alternative sets of transpositionally related subsets is revealed through an abstract study. The exploitation of this potential through the interaction of the subsets is demonstrated in two compositions from the Mikrokosmos and in the first movement of the Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion.

Bartók’s “Six Dances in Bulgarian Rhythm,” the only formally self-contained set within the Mikrokosmos, is the crowning series of pieces in this huge compendium of the composer’s later piano music. Since Bartók recorded all six of them in 1940, they are ideal for an investigation of performance issues. The recordings from the Mikrokosmos, although relatively late, are fortunately close to the composition of most of the pieces, which makes these recordings all the more “authentic.” The essay, however, focuses on the concept of the series as a series revisiting the compositional manuscripts, discussing the evolution of the individual pieces and the emergence of the idea of the set (first intended to comprise only five pieces) and Bulgarian rhythm as a pedagogical issue within the series. The “Six Dances” also bear a somewhat enigmatic dedication to the British pianist of Jewish descent, Harriet Cohen, obviously not an accidental choice. The dedication might be considered with what Bartók said in an interview in 1940 about the “hibridity” of national musical types in his “Bulgarian” pieces as well as with his article “Race Purity in Music” (1942) in mind. The significance of order and ordering in Bartók’s creative work, a hitherto little discussed common central element in the various fields of his activity, collecting, performing and composing, are also discussed.

Spójna wizja kosmologiczna i antropologiczna stają się podstawą najgłębszej, wpisanej w ekonomię zbawienia, odpowiedzialności człowieka za wszechświat. Maksym rozpoznaje w człowieku nie tylko mikrokosmos, ale także pośrednika między stworzeniem i Stwórcą. Analiza dział Wyznawcy pozwala nam stwierdzić, że skoro ostatecznym przeznaczeniem wszechświata jest przebóstwienia, to zadaniem powierzonym człowiekowi jest rozpoznanie tego najgłębszego celu istnienia wszechświata i współuczestnictwo w jego urzeczywistnieniu.

Esoterisches Gedankengut findet sich immer häufiger in der öffentlichen Diskussion. Dadurch kann es grundsätzlich Material in therapeutischen Prozessen werden, sofern unsere Patienten den Eindruck gewinnen, dass ihre Therapeuten sich offen zeigen, darüber zu sprechen. Mit Bezug auf den Mikrokosmos und die Quantenmechanik auf der einen Seite und den Makrokosmos und die Relativitätstheorie auf der anderen Seite sowie am Beispiel der Lichtnahrung soll gezeigt werden, dass sich unser gängiges materialistisches Weltbild womöglich im Umbruch befindet. Plädiert wird diesbezüglich für eine nicht unkritische, jedoch insgesamt offene, interessierte Haltung – auch im Kontext von psychotherapeutischen Prozessen.

In this article, we discuss methodologies to extend computational semantic lexicons in a cost effective way using on-line language resources and savoir faire. First, we introduce the ecology of computational semantic lexicon acquisition, presenting two main methodologies: thesaurus-driven versus corpus-driven. Second, we describe an experiment to extend a semantics-based core lexicon with paradigmatic relations and predict the syntactic behavior of verbs based on their semantics; the automatically derived subcategorizations are first checked against corpora and then manually filtered. These lexicons have been developed within Mikrokosmos, a semantics-based machine translation system.

The culture that emerged in Hindu-Buddha period in ancient Indonesia was always related to religious concepts. Therefore, anything being produced at that time should reflect the harmony between micro and macrocosms, or in other words, between human and deities worlds. This could be exemplified by temples and royal palaces from that period. Temples symbolized Mahameru, the mountain regarded as the center of universe; whilst royal palaces as microcosm should have elements and arrangements in favour with the afore mentioned macrocosm.

Analyser af storbyen har i adskillige år udgjort et væsentligt element i Zygmunt Baumans sociologiske samtidsdiagnoser af den postmoderne eller flydende moderne verden. For Bauman udgør byen et mikrokosmos, hvori tidstendenser i særlig grad, og som forløbere for det øvrige samfunds og menneskehedens udvikling som helhed, kan skimtes. Det er også i byen, at mange af de særlige problemer og fænomener, der konfronterer og kendetegner vores samtid, forstørres og forstærkes. Storbylivet bliver således for Bauman en sociologisk optik, hvorigennem fænomener så som frygt, usikkerhed, fremmedhed (og fremmedhad), militarisering, privatisering og meningsudtømning i særlig udpræget grad kan aflæses.

Den Holocaust überlebte er nur, weil er mit einer Nichtjüdin verheiratet war. Nach dem Krieg beschrieb er das Verhältnis zu seinem prominenten Hausbewohner als freundlich und entspannt. Paul Hoser hat die Adresse, an der sich Hitlers politischer Aufstieg und ein jüdisches Schicksal kreuzten, genau in den Blick genommen und dabei neue Erkenntnisse über den sozialen Mikrokosmos des NSDAP-Führers, aber auch die Mühen der Münchner Restitutionspolitik gewonnen.

Penelitian ini difokuskan pada dua hal, yaitu: (1) mendeskripsikan hubungan musik dan ritual melalui penggunaan tetabuhan dalam upacara ngaben dan (2) menemukan aspek-aspek kosmologis tetabuhan dalam upacara ngaben. Penelitian ini menggunakan perspektif etnomusikologis dipadukan dengan konsep agama dan filsafat bunyi yang tertuang dalam lontar Prakempa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang sangat erat antara tetabuhan dan upacara ngaben yang teraplikasi lewat penggunaan tetabuhan dalam prosesi upacara ngaben. Penggunaan tetabuhan dalam upacara ngaben berkaitan erat dengan aspek-aspek kosmologis. Suara yang dijadikan dasar dari nada-nada gamelan Bali adalah suara (bunyi) yang keluar dari alam. Suara tersebut digabungkan menjadi sepuluh suara yaitu panca suara patut pelog dan panca suara patut slendro yang menyebar ke seluruh penjuru alam. Tetabuhan dalam upacara ngaben, melalui jalinan nada-nada merupakan manifestasi dari pemujaan kepada ista dewata sebagai cermin konsep keseimbangan mikrokosmos, makrokosmos, dan metakosmos. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui makna dan fungsi konsep Tribawana dalam proses berkarya seni batik dan kegitan proses kreatif penciptaan karya seni batik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan Studi Kasus di Rumah Budaya Babaran Segaragunung.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Tribawana merupakan tiga dimensi alam, yaitu Mikrokosmos, Makrokosmos dan sumber kreatif. Proses kreatif dengan konsep Tribawana merupakan proses penyadaran kembali kepada tradisi budaya Jawa. Pelaksanaan Konsep Tribawana dalam proses kreatif di Rumah Budaya Babaran Segaragunung terdiri atas proses pemahaman dalam bentuk pengetahuan dan latihan bersama atau praktik. Die These des Artikels ist, daß der konfessionell geprägte Paradigmenwechsel im frühneuzeitlichen weiblichen Gendermodell Auswirkungen darauf hat, wie die ersten beiden Judith-Texte des 16. Jahrhunderts – Marko Marulićs Judita (1501) und Sixt Bircks lvdith (1534) – mit ihren mörderischen Heldinnen umgehen. Während Marulićs Text selbstbewußt das Bild einer Renaissancemadonna feiert, macht sich in Bircks Text Verwirrung breit. Der Widerspruch zwischen dem verhäuslichten weiblichen Frauenbild der Zwingli-Ära und dem eigentlichen - von Martin Luther als “fein/ gut/ nuetzlich” klassifizierten – Judith-Plot, der eine keusche Witwe im Namen Gottes politisches Terrain betreten läßt, erweist sich in diesem Mikrokosmos Text als ein schwerwiegendes Problem, das nur auf absurde Weise gelöst werden kann: Judith muß zum Mannweib mutieren.
