Resumen
Modern Arabic literature has been influenced by European literature more than the ancient Arabic literature, and it flourished after renewing its intellectual sources, just as the ancient Arabic literature flourished after contacting the literature of other nations, such as the ancient Greek and Latin literatures. In this article we use the comparative descriptive approach in this article, which is always suitable to study such topics. First, we shed light on the literary doctrines and their origins in the West, then we study the classicism and romanticism to know the extent of their influence in the modern Arabic literature, then we study the literary schools that appeared in the modern Arabic literature, and thus the emergence of features of renewal in the modern Arabic literature in the light of impact of those western literary doctrines. It is important for us to look carefully at how the literary doctrines originated among Westerners, to show to what extent the will of the writers and critics worked in the emergence of these doctrines, and to what extent the literature preceded it as a means of expressing psychological status or social conditions that change, so the literature changes and its doctrines change. These doctrines have flourished in Western literature since the European Renaissance at the classical stability, with the prevailing artistic and intellectual foundations in it. Importance of this topic is clear in terms of its profound influence in the modern Arabic literature, as the aspects of renewal cannot be understood accurately without studying it.

Resumen
In this article, the nature of literary principles in Thiruvasagam, the eighth of the Panniru Thirumurai has been highlighted. Moreover, devotional literature is an important milestone in the development of the Tamil language. The principle of devotional literature, along with the principles of divine consciousness, humanity, ethics of attaining God, principles of attaining God, and throughout the Thiruvasagam song, Manickavasagar's devotional principle of compassion, the compassion of love, humanity, compassion, metaphysics, suffering, etc., can be attained by crying, and Manickavasagar's interconnection with God as a culmination of the spiritual journey. Tamil is known to be so intertwined that it can be said to be the language of devotion. Tamil was very helpful in the promotion of religion. That's why literature grows. Religion also developed, and the two great religions, Saivism and Vaishnavism, created separate literature emphasizing their own doctrines and the doctrine of God. Saivism consists of Panniru Thirumuraikal and fourteen shastra books, which are holy shastra texts that propagate its ideology. Manickavasagar's Thiruvasagam and Thirukkovaiyar are praised as the eighth Thirumarai. The famous Thiruvasagam written by Manickavasagar, can be said to be a treasure trove of gracious tears. It can be said that all thiruvasagam songs are a collection of various kinds of literature, such as precious pearls.

Resumen
“Think of our world,” writes Robert Nozick, “as a novel in which you yourself are a character.” As we shall see, this is easier said than done. In that case, would the project be worth the effort? Yes, says Alexander Nehamas. In Nietzsche: Life as Literature, Nehamas suggests that we would have a better grasp of some hard doctrines of Nietzsche's, if we accepted literary texts as providing a model for the world, and literary characters as yielding models of ourselves. The idea is intriguing, in part because Nietzsche presents difficulties, and in part because it has some of the alluring obscurity of Nozick's playful charge. In what follows, however, I shall argue that Nehamas's proposals about Nietzsche and literature are not particularly helpful, that Nietzsche's doctrines remain hard to grasp even after we have considered the nature of literary texts, and that Nehamas himself is misled by ambiguities connected with literary characters and the fictional worlds they inhabit.

Resumen
Sufi ideas exerted a great influence on nearly every aspect of traditional Malay literature of the late 16th to the 17th century. Not only Malay literary practice of that age owed much to the Sufi inspiration, equally important is the fact that Sufism brought to life a pre-modern Malay literary theory including, inter alia, fundamental concepts of literary aesthetics. On the basis of a poem by Hamzah Fansuri and Sufi allegories Hikayat Inderaputera and Hikayat Si Burung Pingai the article investigates the Sufi doctrine of imagination as a particular world all of its own, the “aesthetics of light” expressed through specific illumination of portrayed events and “lighting effects”, and the “aesthetics of ecstasy” communicated through acoustic and olfactory images. By embodying these aesthetics in the “flesh and blood” of literary works, their creators not only managed to reveal Sufi doctrines with more clarity and beauty, but also let their audience experience them both intellectually and emotionally. Keyword : Sufism, Hamzah Fansuri, literary aesthetic, Hikayat Metaphysics.

Resumen
Human behavior determines the results they will receive later. Rational thinking continues to look for the true meaning of life that we live today. with the ability to receive knowledge empirically or based on literacy sources, humans look for the right equivalent of the life they have received from birth to death. The deepening of faith continues to be carried out in the hope of enlightening the search for answers to these questions. The doctrine of teaching has been given concretely, that life is influenced by our past, present, and future behavior. Literary sources become doctrines that are held by Hindus to navigate the ocean of life. The current period requires humans to quickly make decisions. Thoughts about how we behave are suggested to accommodate this. But many are trapped by the desire to follow developments that ignore religious noble values. Self-discipline needs to be improved, so that someone returns to the path of Dharma based on the Vedic scriptures.

AbstractThis article reviews the history and politics of the English foreign act of State and non-justiciability doctrines in light of recent judgments in Belhaj and Rahmatullah. It argues that the doctrines have a political unconscious—a term borrowed from literary theorist Fredric Jameson—and that an appreciation of this should inform the Supreme Court's approach to the forthcoming appeals.

Atanassova, Rossitza I. "Doctrine, polemic and literary tradition in some hexameter poems of Prudentius". Thesis, University of Oxford, 2001. http://ora.ox.ac.uk/objects/uuid:f74b5c1a-7b1d-42ae-afe7-bebd9aa7caf7.

Resumen
The thesis, the topic of which is restricted to the polemical didactic poems, Apotheosis, Hamartigenia and Contra Symmachum 1-2, aims to establish the attitudes of Prudentius to the literary tradition and argues for his relationship with the Latin classical poets. Its main argument is that the hexameter poems as a group can be profitably studied from a stylistic angle, since they show how Prudentius combined, and used with innovation, the styles of several poets, namely Lucretius, Virgil and Juvenal, and in many cases engaged with the literary tradition as a whole. Chapter I surveys, as reflected in the poems, Prudentius' awareness of the political, religious and literary milieu in the Christian Empire of the West in his day. Chapter II examines how Prudentius employed the style of argument and imagery in the D.R.N. to present Christian doctrines on the body and the soul, and to reject pagan superstition. Chapter III shows how with much imagination and respect Prudentius adapted Virgil's phraseology and techniques to give new Christian interpretations of some mythical and historical themes in the Aen., such as the 'Golden Age' and the battle of Actium, and of topics on agriculture from the Georg. Chapter IV argues that, like other fourth century Christian writers, the poet entered into the spirit of Satire and alluded to Juvenal's themes and language in his treatment of the topics of sin and sexuality. Finally, in Chapter V Prudentius' adaptations of the biblical accounts in Gen. 19 and of Ps. 136 are used to demonstrate how allegory, which is a main feature of his poetry, was combined successfully with different classical techniques. In conclusion, the hexameter poems demonstrate that Prudentius did not reject classical poetry on the basis of its content, but used both its themes and poetic techniques in order to merge the ancient with the Christian literary tradition.

The research analyzes the representations of hell through the study of the evolution of its geography and its structure between late antiquity and the early middle ages in the literary sources. It is highlighted how in an era between the second and fifth centuries A. D. the hell was used as a synonym for inferi with the meaning of a place of waiting before the final judgment. The idea of the punishment of fire after death was already known from the early centuries of Christianity with theparable of Lazarus the poor and the rich man, narrated in the Gospel of Luke: this parable was used by the Church Fathers to demonstrate the separation between wicked souls in hell and right souls placed in the bosom of Abraham. The geography of the underworld, however, was not fully described until at least the fifth century, because the authors preferred a metaphorical use, which represented hell as synonymous of evil and sin. Starting from the fifth century with greater attentionto the destiny of the soul in the moment following death, the descriptions of hell became clearer and characterized by a more defined geography, as evidenced by the text of Visio Pauli, Augustine and Faustus's preaching. From the sixth century, and in particular with pope Gregory the Great, hell was definitively represented as the seat of eternal damnation, also thanks to the help of models belonging to the ancient tradition and the association with some places on earth, such as the volcanoes of Sicily, all being used as an important political tool which the papacy appropriated to explain the activity of the soul in the otherworld, against an environment who denied it. With the visions of the seventh and eighth centuries, finally, the structure and geography of hell became more complicated and defined in three spaces, because the authors added the purgatory space. To describe the otherworld the visions of the seventh and eight centuries used the pictures and themes already employed in the previous centuries

This thesis deals with the "canon" (in the sense of "list of authors considered the best within a given genre") of Greek and Latin poets in chapter 10.1 of the Institutio oratoria. In this treatise on rhetoric from the Flavian period, the canon-list derives from a literary and doctrinal tradition that selects certain authors for inclusion and evaluates them in relation to each other as reading material and models of eloquence. The present work describes the list of authors in chapter 10.1 both as the culmination of a diachronous process of establishing "canons", and, in synchrony, as an emanation of the cultural context specific to Flavian Rome. It questions the dynamic of how the list was established by explaining the motivations behind different operations of "listing" (selection - or exclusion - of authors, establishment of hierarchical relations between them, and critical evaluation of their qualities). It shows that the main critical influences on the different entries in the list are those of Cicero, Horace and Denys of Halicarnassus. In particular, its show that the dynamics of how the list was established is specific to each poetic genre. Accordingly, the present work is located at the confluence of the history of rhetoric and its doctrines, the history of philology, literary history, and the history of ancient literary criticism

The importance of catechism as a factor that helped literacy in the modern age has been underlined by historiography for a long time: the schools of Christian doctrine, founded and revitalized after the Council of Trent, represented actually a privileged occasion, often the only one, for many children to approach the world of letters. Although society was still pervaded with orality, the advantages of literacy became more and more evident and fuelled a need of education from the lower classes that started quietly but that soon increased. It was a composite and fragmentary demand, often uncertain, definitely mobile that met a similarly varied offer. This was how the first schools of rudiments originated. They were usually entrusted to clergymen who taught gratis et amore Dei, although the real turning point came about when the common sensibility reached such a level that teaching was formalized: means were found to pay the teachers and to establish permanent, public and free schools. This research work analyses the schools of doctrine and the schools of rudiments in the diocese of Brescia, covering the time span between two especially incisive milestones: from one side the religious split in Europe, with the subsequent Council of Trent trying to heal the wounds and promote a new Christianity; to the other side the revolutionary upheavals at the end of the eighteenth century, that caused the age-long structures of the ancien régime to break down.

Resumen
Abstract For the Romantic poets, F. W. Bateson once said, language was chiefly ‘a device for asking questions and not one for recording answers’; and even when not exactly posing questions (‘Was it a vision, or a waking dream?’, Keats, ‘Ode to a Nightingale’) Romantic poets are often engaged by questionable speculations, the entertaining of possibilities and second thoughts and half-thoughts (‘If this | Be but a vain belief, yet. . .’, Wordsworth, ‘Tintern Abbey’) rather than the placing of settled doctrines on record. Bateson’s observation is true enough for us usefully to keep it in mind if we are drawn to define a Romantic position on art (or on anything else)—something which coherently persists to influence later thinkers and theorists.

Resumen
Abstract As Edgar Wright points out, Mrs Gaskell ‘originally meant her novel to be called “John Barton”. She mentions to two or three correspondents that she had envisaged the novel as a tragic poem with John Barton as the hero’ (p. xv). This ur-narrative would have concentrated in detail on the working-class hero’s suffering, his alienation and seduction by the ‘vile’ doctrines of Chartism and Communism, his lapse into homicidal crime, and his redemption. Unfortunately, as many modern critics feel, Gaskell succumbed to the preferences of her readers and publishers by recasting her plot as Mary Barton, the story of a virtuous working-class girl who resists the blandishments of a rich seducer and heroically saves her true love from the gallows. John Barton’s melancholy story is relegated to the status of sub-plot.

Resumen
This chapter provides a discussion of the early discourses as literature, focusing on a number of representative cases from the classic Dīgha and Majjhima Nikāyas (The collections of Long and Middle-Length Discourses). The interdependence of narrative and philosophy is brought to the fore, and the importance of the narrative dimensions of the texts is highlighted; the texts relate their messages no less through aesthetic devices and inspired storytelling, than through the doctrines they supposedly are staged to relate. The chapter analyzes the first section of recitation from the Dīgha Nikāya, showing how its key formulas are adapted to the narrative context of each discourse. It further discusses the idea of editing, showing how texts were made to fit editorial designs. The chapter also offers a close reading of the Majjhima’s marvelously multivalent Cūḷataṇhāsankhaya-sutta.

Resumen
The model of craft and the craft workshop illuminates Christian authors’ literary activity, in particular their use of ekphrasis and prosōpopoeia. Their use of these techniques shows they emulate a literary craft tradition but adapt and experiment within it. They use these techniques to provoke an active response from their audience. These texts are intended to be useful as well as beautiful. They are creating a truly rhetorical and persuasive art in some ways similar to that set out in Plato’s Republic: grounded on knowledge, learning by experience and aimed at a good end. However, their conception of the good is defined in terms of Christian doctrine and they emphasize the importance of the fact that their craft is productive: it generates texts. Finally, this craft of words puts a great deal of weight on human experience: this is due to the importance of the doctrines of the incarnation and creation.

Resumen
This chapter presents a version of how hasidism began. It provides a construction of hasidic history that asserts that Israel Ba'al Shem Tov did not start a ‘movement’. Rather, he introduced some innovations to a traditional style of mystical pietism long denoted as ‘hasidism’ that in subsequent generations developed into a new type of mass movement that constituted a new hasidism. Through the last decades of the eighteenth century and into the early nineteenth, this hasidism gradually differentiated from its traditionalist predecessor, developing a literary canon, religious doctrines, behaviour patterns, leadership models, an array of institutions, and, most of all, a self-consciousness that it was a movement. It was in the nineteenth century that this hasidism reached maturity with numerical strength, geographical spread, institutional stability, financial resources, doctrinal sophistication, and political influence.

Resumen
Abstract The De Mundo and De Platone are respectively a free translation of the extant pseudo-Aristotelian Πϵρi Kóσμov and a two-book handbook to the doctrines of Plato, which is also likely to be a translation or paraphrase of an earlier Greek text; both are thus attempts to expound in Latin the doctrines of Greek philosophers. These two works are transmitted along with the De Deo Socratis and the Asclepius in a group of manuscripts of the philosophical works attributed to Apuleius, a group separate from the F tradition which contains the more literary works. As argued in Chapters 2 and 4, the existence of the ‘false preface’ at the beginning of the De Deo Socratis, which I and others believe to have been the original final section of the Florida, suggests that the two extant branches of the manuscript tradition derive from a late antique division of the collected works of Apuleius, possibly at the moment when their texts were copied from papyrus to codex.

Resumen
The contribution introduces the theory of anticipatory or foreseen plagiarism which should prompt us to reexamine the existing copyright paradigm. The literary anticipation theory creates a hypothesis that some authors to outlive their time due to their literary style or thematic vision and in the process, allegedly “robbing the literary treasury” of authors living and writing centuries later. The foreseen plagiarism theory transcends time and space which allows for an understanding of the mechanisms responsible for the overflow of the literary gene among authors living in different centuries. This article contrasts anticipatory plagiarism with the plagiarism concept of unauthorized and deliberate copying of a work in the past. The article morally assesses different types of plagiarism, therefore explaining the nature of copyright consequences. The legal definition of the concept of plagiarism and its depiction as a social offense the legal consequences of which may affect various areas of the private law, have, in the context of this work, a platform function providing space for developing the hypothesis on the possible existence of another literary phenomenon defined as anticipatory plagiarism. The anticipatory plagiarism theory destroys the inflexible conception of temporal impact which serves as a symbolic key to decoding the context of the development of a number of important but controversial (in terms of authorship) works of world literary heritage. This contribution focuses on clarifying the possible nature of the phenomenon in question while demonstrating the need for reexamination of the existing concept of literary history and the plagiarism phenomenon (in terms of copyright) through the introduction of circumstances discovered. The topic of literary plagiarism is presented in a historical, legal, psychological and economic contexts. The author further develops the anticipatory plagiarism theory described by the French literature professor Pierre Bayard and adds an additional attribute, thus constructing a new legal doctrine with the potential to confirm the nature of the investigated phenomenon. Anticipatory plagiarism in described as a phenomenon on the edge of paranormal phenomena while providing empirical evidence of its existence. The text takes into account the critical approach to the issue in question offering ideal conditions for factual debate and approaching the topic at hand as objective and comprehensively incorporated.

Resumen
The relevance of the problem under study is due to issues arising in connection with the low level of legal literacy of the population of the Russian Federation. Using the term “population”, the author combines in it both citizens and foreign citizens, as well as stateless persons, since the main migration flows to Russia are directed from neighboring countries, where established legal orders also did not have time to form and the attitude to Law is characterized by the denial of its key role. in the regulation of social processes. In this regard, this article is aimed at a comprehensive analysis of human rights in the system of constitutional values. The leading approach to the study of this problem is the general philosophical dialectical method, which makes it possible to define human rights as one of the most important values of all mankind and to correlate the problems of teaching human rights in the context of globalization and socio-cultural integration with the formation of individual autonomy, the recognition of the sovereign nature of its rights as an inevitable factor in international communication. The article summarizes the problematic points associated with the need to establish a relationship between the right to education and the idea of human rights, without which the true socialization of the individual and the full-fledged process of education in modern Russia are impossible, as well as a doctrinal approach to the subject under consideration.

Resumen
dimensional nature of deep internal contradictions. On one hand it will be considered as a value and system for realization and protection of the fundamental rights and freedoms, and on the other hand, as a method and decision-making procedure in the society. In its original sense, according to the etymological genesis of the word, democracy literally means practicing power by the majority of the people. In this sense, democracy was historically achieved only in the ancient city (polis) Athens. Since then, democracy in various models and modified versions of these models, according to the different understandings of it, appears through the historical development of society. In the paper we will make efforts to give a kind of archetypal contribution to this topic by analyzing the following issues: What is the paradox of democracy?; Is democracy possible in its original sense in today's development of society?; Is democracy a farce or reality today and which are the basic postulates and mechanisms on which globalized societies operate?; What is the connection and impact among democracy, liberalism and neo-liberalism?; What is the reflection of such democratic societies toward the multidimensional phenomenon of international and national security, considered in all its dimensions, beyond the traditional understandings of security, exclusively conceptualized in terms of military and other traditional security threats and risks. Answering to all these open questions, the historical overview of the development of democracy in this paper will be reduced to minimum extent in order to understand the impact of the various tendencies in the concept of democracy and the doctrine of neo-liberalism upon the international security. Furthermore, in this context, the causes and goals of spreading fake news will be considered as a basic nucleus of the contemporary economic and political propaganda or marketing.

Yatsymirska, Mariya. MODERN MEDIA TEXT: POLITICAL NARRATIVES, MEANINGS AND SENSES, EMOTIONAL MARKERS. Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, febrero de 2022. http://dx.doi.org/10.30970/vjo.2022.51.11411.

Texto completo
Resumen
The article examines modern media texts in the field of political journalism; the role of information narratives and emotional markers in media doctrine is clarified; verbal expression of rational meanings in the articles of famous Ukrainian analysts is shown. Popular theories of emotions in the process of cognition are considered, their relationship with the author’s personality, reader psychology and gonzo journalism is shown. Since the media text, in contrast to the text, is a product of social communication, the main narrative is information with the intention of influencing public opinion. Media text implies the presence of the author as a creator of meanings. In addition, media texts have universal features: word, sound, visuality (stills, photos, videos). They are traditionally divided into radio, TV, newspaper and Internet texts. The concepts of multimedia and hypertext are related to online texts. Web combinations, especially in political journalism, have intensified the interactive branching of nonlinear texts that cannot be published in traditional media. The Internet as a medium has created the conditions for the exchange of ideas in the most emotional way. Hence Gonzo’s interest in journalism, which expresses impressions of certain events in words and epithets, regardless of their stylistic affiliation. There are many such examples on social media in connection with the events surrounding the Wagnerians, the Poroshenko case, Russia’s new aggression against Ukraine, and others. Thus, the study of new features of media text in the context of modern political narratives and emotional markers is important in media research. The article focuses review of etymology, origin and features of using lexemes “cмисл (meaning)” and “сенс (sense)” in linguistic practice of Ukrainians results in the development of meanings and functional stylistic coloring in the usage of these units. Lexemes “cмисл (meaning)” and “сенс (sense)” are used as synonyms, but there are specific fields of meanings where they cannot be interchanged: lexeme “сенс (sense)” should be used when it comes to reasonable grounds for something, lexeme “cмисл (meaning)” should be used when it comes to notion, concept, understanding. Modern political texts are most prominent in genres such as interviews with politicians, political commentaries, analytical articles by media experts and journalists, political reviews, political portraits, political talk shows, and conversations about recent events, accompanied by effective emotional narratives. Etymologically, the concept of “narrative” is associated with the Latin adjective “gnarus” – expert. Speakers, philosophers, and literary critics considered narrative an “example of the human mind.” In modern media texts it is not only “story”, “explanation”, “message techniques”, “chronological reproduction of events”, but first of all the semantic load and what subjective meanings the author voices; it is a process of logical presentation of arguments (narration). The highly professional narrator uses narration as a “method of organizing discourse” around facts and impressions, impresses with his political erudition, extraordinary intelligence and creativity. Some of the above theses are reflected in the following illustrations from the Ukrainian media: “Culture outside politics” – a pro-Russian narrative…” (MP Gabibullayeva); “The next will be Russia – in the post-Soviet space is the Arab Spring…” (journalist Vitaly Portnikov); “In Russia, only the collapse of Ukraine will be perceived as success” (Pavel Klimkin); “Our army is fighting, hiding from the leadership” (Yuri Butusov).
