Resumen
The growing popularity of online learning has put learning management systems (LMS) at the forefront of learning technologies. The adoption of LMS by students has therefore been a major driving force for online education. However, true adoption must transcend initial use for significant success. This study utilizes the theory of planned behavior (TPB) to gain new insights on students' short-term versus long-term adoption of LMS. Specifically, it examines the determinants of initial use and continuance use through the lens of the TPB. Results obtained from a sample of 248 undergraduate students suggest that difference in continuing use and initial use decision depends on differences in the influences of personal control perceptions about technology and subjective norms. Protagonists of online education will find these results interesting in that it provides insights for developing intervention strategies that can help in increasing online education adoption regardless of whether the focus is long-term or short-term.

Resumen
The use of information technologies and, in particular, information training systems increases capacity of both a teacher and a student to achieve their goals in an educational process, taking into account individual characteristics of each and providing opportunities for continuing education. The paper proposes and considers a new automated learning management system, called CATS (Care About the Students). The proposed system covers all components of the educational process, allows to conduct an electronic journal of visiting and defending laboratory works, distribute topics and monitor progress of course and diploma projects (creating automatically task sheets with subsequent export to MS Word editor). The CATS LMS makes it possible to test students’ knowledge in control and self-education modes, to form electronic educational and methodical complexes, to inform students about topics of lecture and practical classes with the possibility of downloading relevant materials, to provide educational content in SCORM format, developed by teachers around the world. Working in the CATS system, it is possible to exchange messages with students and teachers, to monitor progress and process of studying in respect of the proposed material by students, to check accomplished assignments of students for plagiarism. The system under consideration also takes into account specificity of training at a technical higher education institution, providing for work with an integrated project management system and ability to submit bugs. The CATS LMS has been implemented as a web application using modern technologies and it is available in the local network within the whole university at [172.16.11.72:2020].

Resumen
Virtual Learning Environments have been the center of attention in the last few decades and help educators tremendously with providing students with educational resources. Since artificial intelligence was used for educational proposes, learning management system developers showed much interest in making their products smarter and more intelligent. Nevertheless, the questions of what an intelligent learning management system (ILSM) is and which tools and features are needed to make such system intelligent, are not clearly answered, therefore educational institutes do not have a proper tool to decide upon the degree of intelligence they need for their LMSs. This paper proposes a prevalent, thorough definition of “Intelligent Learning Management Systems”, and the design of a fuzzy model to measure the intelligence of these systems. In order to devise a comprehensive definition of an Intelligent Learning Management System, experts from around the world were consulted. Following that, different proposed Intelligent Learning Management Systems were studied, and forty-one features and tools were found and analyzed. After the analysis, experts' opinions were taken into account to rank these features. The paper proposes thirteen most significant features and tools as criteria to be used in fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP) as a fuzzy model to measure the intelligence of Learning Management System.

Learning management systems (LMSs) may provide learners with resources in various formats, such as videos, quizzes, and forum discussions to support their learning, but having access to an LMS does not necessarily mean that learning has occurred effectively. Despite its apparent usefulness, whether the use of the LMS can indeed help learners learn more effectively remains an interesting matter for course providers, LMS vendors, and learners. Therefore, this study adopted the updated DeLone and McLean information system success model to examine whether LMS system quality, information quality, and service quality affect learners’ system use and user satisfaction, and ultimately their learning effectiveness. Through a questionnaire survey, responses collected from 123 university students who studied in a blended learning environment at a university were analyzed. Findings showed that system quality and service quality, but not information quality, had a significant relationship with system use. In turn, system use had a significant relationship with learning effectiveness.

Resumen
Over the last years software development life-cycles have continuously been shortened and new releases are being deployed at a more and more frequent level. In order to ensure the quality of those releases, a strong shift towards automated testing at all testing levels has become noticeable throughout the software devel-opment industry. At system testing level, the scope of testing is the developed product as a whole, tested in a test environment that has a very close resemblance to the production system. Because of this system-wide scope and the many po-tential sources for failures, the implementation of automated tests at this level is challenging. Exhaustive testing is neither feasible nor maintainable, therefore proper designed test cases that cover important functionality are essential. Due to increasing laws and regulations on data protection and data privacy, proper man-agement of test data used in automated testing is as important. This paper dis-cusses how automated system tests for TeachCenter 3.0, Graz University of Technology’s learning management system, were implemented.

Resumen
Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) is broadly used in the United Kingdom Higher Education environment and the rest of the world owing to its feature of being user-friendly as a learning management system (LMS). Since the pandemic, the pivotal role of Moodle is strengthened to facilitate virtual learning during the lockdown and enhance hybrid learning with face-to-face teaching gradually coming back. During the routine tutorials, some students reported their difficulties and concerns about Moodle, such as digital literacy, information density, and feedback. In this reflection, three postgraduate researchers who work as teaching assistants in Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), reflect on the Moodle designing experience. We discuss various manoeuvres like adjusting the structure, using virtual badges to engage students, compressing content, and updating synchronous and asynchronous learning materials to enable students to learn more efficiently. The module design is optimised based on the module nature, learning objectives, expected learning outcomes, and students' learning needs in the hybrid learning environment. With the students' feedback and previous learning experience, suggestions are proposed to contribute to the best practices in Moodle design to improve Postgraduate Taught Students’ learning experience in Higher Education.

Resumen
Educators are being encouraged to shift their instructional paradigm from teacher-centered to learner-centered through the use of technology. For online courses, legacy learning management products originally designed to sup-port and deliver teacher-centered instruction may represent a constraint to implementing the learner-centered paradigm. Yet, replacement of these systems presents a formidable hurdle to educators wishing to initiate learner-centered on-line courses. This hurdle could be lowered significantly by a transitional approach that allows learner-centered strategies to be delivered within the framework of existing learning management systems. This paper describes our efforts to prototype such a transitional approach for an online statistics course. Pedagogical and technological objectives were successfully achieved by combining the technologies of the Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM), a legacy learning management system, and a stand-alone course authoring tool to deliver an example course demonstrating adaptive, competency-based student progress instruction that personalizes one’s learning path with topic-contingent assessment feedback.

Resumen
<p>In a world which abounds with digitally-driven changes, an orthodoxy of technology adoption and utilisation in higher education is emerging, and it is deemed critical for steering the discussions of experts for planning and implementing a digitally-enabled ecology where students and faculty members alike will benefit. Although several types of software that host educational or training content for students have been used in previous studies, the aim of this EU-funded project was to design a digitally-enabled platform that would afford culturally-driven exchanges between university students and collaboration among faculty members of the same disciplines across Europe. The platform is based on, but extends beyond, principles of standard Learning Management Systems (LMSs) and Facebook, by affording Web 2.0 tools, Augmented Reality (AR) applications, and QR codes. Further, the platform has been designed based on multiple pilot testing phases, students’ individual needs, instructors’ constructive feedback, and the tailored needs of each academic discipline. This EU-funded project is a joint effort to guide instructors and students in experiencing the curricula in different academic institutions, to guide instructors and students in understanding the affordances and contradictions of intercultural telecollaboration, and to guide students in developing a conceptual understanding of complex constructs in their discipline.</p>

Resumen
Purpose – The paper aims to discuss the link or relationship between environmental management system (EMS) adoptions with organization learning (OL). It postulates that EMS adoption has the potential to catalyze organizational learning in hotels to make them more dynamic and competitive. Design/methodology/approach – The paper reviewed the literature to link the purpose and steps involved in an EMS adoption with the benefit of managing organizational knowledge and OL. It also uses the literature to identify phases of learning in EMS adoption and the level of employees exposed to the learning. Findings – There are two reasons why more hotels should not be hesitant to adopt EMS: flexibility – EMS does not dictate the level of environmental performance a firm should achieve, thus giving hotel firms the flexibility to determine the level of sophistication of their environmental management; and the building of company’s dynamism – EMS facilitates organizational learning, leading to enhanced organizational performance. Research limitations/implications – The proposed link between EMS implementation with OL in this paper can only be proven by means of empirical studies. Practical implications – Understanding the OL value of EMS adoption may persuade more hotel practitioners to adopt it. Originality/value – This paper proposes a link between a systematic approach to managing environmental responsibility with knowledge management in hotels.

Resumen
This study examined, by analysis and comparison, two Learning Management Systems (LMS): Blackboard and Brightspace. The field research sample consisted of 513 students at Umm Al-Qura University. The study attempted to answer central questions dealing with the evaluation level of Umm Al-Qura University students for the characteristics of these two LMS. The study concludes that most students agree on the benefits of Blackboard and Brightspace, and according to them, the most common advantages of these LMS are: Help to access shared data and files, record and monitor the learner's performance, help to control and customize the educational process, facilitate the exchange of experiences and scientific concepts with others, the stable interface in controlling and moving among other components, facilitate discussion with the teacher and with students, and interface easy to understand and learn and easy to use. The study revealed that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of students who use the Blackboard system and students who use the Brightspace system in the overall score to evaluate the e-learning system characteristics in favor of students who use the Brightspace system. This means that students who use the Brightspace system are more sensitive to the advantages of an e-learning system compared to students who use the Blackboard system. The findings can be used to assist educators in producing the best process of implementing open and distance learning. The appropriate techniques must be chosen to ensure that no student drops behind and that the teaching and learning process works with sustainability.

Resumen
The pandemic that started in 2019 made technology even more important. Accelerating digital adaptation and transformation in the education sector, namely the Learning Management System (LMS) is very helpful in the teaching and learning process. Various LMS platforms are widely used and developed by various agencies. Pradita University is also developing an LMS which is made with the node.js programming language and the next.js framework which can be accessed on the pradita.digital site. The choice of using the wrong technology can cause the problematic LMS that is used to become slow and heavy, to the point where it cannot be accessed. The use of technology with the hypervisior concept which was previously commonly used has various weaknesses. For this reason, the Pradita LMS was developed using container orchestrator technology and Rancher Kubernetes as container orchestrator management. By utilizing Rancher as a container orchestrator management, it can make it easier to use with a user friendly GUI. In this study aims to prove that the use of Rancher in improving the quality and performance of LMS Pradita. Among them by identifying system efficiency, providing better scalability, increasing the availability of Pradita LMS, Rancher is able to manage applications and containers used for Pradita LMS, and saving costs used in implementing physical devices. By using the experimental method applied in this study, the results of system efficiency testing and scalability testing carried out with a load of up to 200 users can run properly and efficiently, then the availability test proves that the LMS is still available even when there are workers who are not operating, and testing rancher management capabilities lead to conclusions Rancher runs optimally and uses resources efficiently in accordance with the objectives in this study.

Resumen
The COVID-19 outbreak is an international problem and has affected people and students all over the world. When lockdowns were imposed internationally, learning management systems began to be used more than in the previous period. These systems have been used also for traditional forms of learning and not only for online learning. This pandemic has highlighted the need for online learning systems in the educational environment, but it is very important for these systems to be secure and to verify the authenticity of the students when they access a course or evaluation questions. In this period, everything is moving towards the digital world, with students that are connected from a distance to online systems. All activities in the educational environment will soon be performed digitally on learning management systems, which includes also the evaluation process of the students. In this paper, we propose a secure learning management system that uses the student’s behavior to identify if they are an authentic student or not. This system can support the teacher’s activities in the learning process and verify the authenticity of the students logged on to the system. This paper is aimed at learning management system developers, who can use the proposed algorithms in their developed platforms, and also at teachers, who should understand the importance of the identification of students on these platforms.

Resumen
Abstract: Our proposed online order management system is a platform that provides sellers with a comprehensive overview of their stock and orders. The platform streamlines the order management process, allowing the seller to view and manage their products and stocks with ease. Unlike traditional online order management systems, our platform goes beyond basic stock management and incorporates two machine learning algorithms to improve the seller's efficiency and profitability. The first machine learning algorithm provides the seller with insights into the popularity of a particular product category during a specific month. By notifying the seller of trends, they can better plan their stock levels to maximize profits. For example, if a seller notices that a particular product category is in high demand during the holiday season, they can increase their stock levels to meet the increased demand and maximize their profits. The second machine learning algorithm dynamically sets prices for the seller's products based on factors such as demand, date, and product category. This algorithm takes into account market trends and consumer behavior to set a price that is both competitive and profitable for the seller. For example, if a particular product is in high demand during a particular day, the algorithm will adjust the price to reflect the increased demand and allow the seller to sell the product at a higher price. In addition to these two machine learning algorithms, our online order management system includes a range of other features to help sellers manage their business effectively and efficiently. This includes order tracking, stock management, and customer management, all of which can be accessed from a single dashboard. The implementation of these machine learning algorithms is a crucial aspect of our online order management system, as they allow sellers to make informed decisions about their business. By using data and insights to optimize stock levels and pricing strategies, sellers can maximize their profits and minimize their losses. It is a comprehensive platform that provides sellers with the tools they need to manage their business effectively and efficiently.
