Resumen
Abstract KEK electron positron injector LINAC initiated the injection operation into Photon Factory (PF) light source in 1982. Since then for 39 years, it has served for multiple projects, namely, TRISTAN, PF-AR, KEKB, and SuperKEKB. Its total operation time has accumulated 200 thousand hours on May 7, 2020. We are extremely proud of the achievement following continuous efforts by our seniors. The construction of the injector LINAC started in 1978, and it was commissioned for PF with 2.5 GeV electron in 1982. In parallel, the positron generator linac was constructed for the TRISTAN collider project. The slow positron facility was also commissioned in 1992. After the KEKB asymmetric-energy collider project was commissioned in 1998 with direct energy injections, the techniques such as two-bunch acceleration and simultaneous injection were developed. As the soft structure design of the LINAC was too weak against the great east Japan earthquake, it took three years to recover. Then the construction and commissioning for the SuperKEKB project went on, and the simultaneous top-up injection into four storage rings contributes to the both elementary particle physics and photon science.

Resumen
The physics of heavy flavors, including the search for new sources of CP symmetry violation and for rare decays of B mesons and τ leptons, is one of the pillars of modern particle physics in the quest for finding the inevitable extensions or modifications of the Standard Model. In this paper we first summarize the present status of CP violation as measured using the two pioneering B-Factories PEP II in the US and KEKB in Japan. Both machines have stopped operation (PEP II in 2008, KEKB end of June 2010), and full data samples from the BaBar and Belle experiments are now being analyzed for the "final word." The Standard Model of CP violation, based on the quark flavor mixing matrix as formulated by Kobayashi and Maskawa, shows overall consistency with the measurements. Still there are some tantalizing hints of possible deviations from the conventional wisdom. Strong arguments therefore exist to push for a new round of high-precision experiments, which will become available with the next generation of ultrahigh luminosity machines ("Super B-Factories"). We discuss the physics potential of such machines, aiming at integrated luminosities about two orders of magnitude larger than the present samples. We then report on the concrete plans at KEK in Japan to upgrade the KEKB machine ("SuperKEKB") with the goal of achieving an instantaneous luminosity exceeding 8 × 1035 cm -2 s -1, which is a factor of 40 larger than KEKB's world record. Together with the machine, the Belle detector will be upgraded as well ("Belle II"), with significant improvements to increase its background tolerance as well as improving its physics performance. The Belle II experiment is scheduled to see first collisions in 2015.

The Belle II experiment is now under construction at the KEK laboratory in Japan. This project represents a substantial upgrade to both the Belle detector and the KEKB accelerator. The Belle II experiment will record 50/ab of data, a factor of 50 more than that recorded by Belle. The Belle II experiment, being constructed at the KEK laboratory in Japan, represents a substantial upgrade of both the Belle detector and the KEKB accelerator. It is expected that Belle II will collect 50 times more data than existing B-Factory samples beginning in 2019. Belle II is uniquely capable of studying the so-called "XYZ" particles: heavy exotic hadrons consisting of more than three quarks. First discovered by Belle, these now number in the dozens, and represent the emergence of a new category within Quantum Chromodynamics. In this article we summarize the capabilities of Belle II to explore both exotic and conventional bottomonium physics, with a particular focus on the physics reach of the first data, where opportunities exist to make an immediate impact in this area.

Resumen
Research & development for future accelerators are reviewed. First, I discuss colliding hadron beams, in particular upgrades to the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). This is followed by an overview of new concepts and technologies for lepton ring colliders, with examples taken from VEPP-2000, DAFNE-2, and Super-KEKB. I then turn to recent progress and studies for the multi-TeV Compact Linear Collider (CLIC). Some generic linear-collider research, centered at the KEK Accelerator Test Facility, is described next. Subsequently, I survey the neutrino factory R&D performed in the framework of the US feasibility study IIa, and I also comment on a novel scheme for producing monochromatic neutrinos from an electron-capture beta beam. Finally, I present innovative ideas for a high-energy muon collider and I consider recent experimental progress on laser and plasma acceleration.

Resumen
We report observations of the Cabibbo-suppressed decays B→ D(*)K and an upper limit for the decay branching fraction for [Formula: see text] using a 5.3fb-1 data sample accumulated at the ϒ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- asymmetric collider.
