In the article, the targeted audience and thematic character of the instructive stories that are spreading through the networks are classified, and the correlation and comparison of the types of proverbs that have changed in accordance with the times has been carried out. Today, it is known that small genres of traditional folklore are changing due to the widespread use of the Internet. Because folklore is a kind of communicative tool created together with humanity, it can be called a living phenomenon that adapts to the social life due to changes in cultural and historical conditions. Post-folkloric sub-genres (instructive stories, online legends, proverbs) spread through the Internet and social networks were considered as the object of research. The article analyzed the foreign scientific research on post-folklore and made a scientific analysis of the level of distribution of domestic post-folklore in social networks, the ways of their representation. An overview of the state of classical folklore in the modern era, post-folkloric sub-genres was conducted, and its genre transformation was analyzed and differentiated. Looking at the state of distribution on the Internet, the interest of network users, the variability of small genres, the invariance of the text composition, and the dynamic level of social and cultural phenomena were investigated. The study of modern post-folklore makes it possible to assess the current life of the phenomenon of the multivariate text, to clearly distinguish its situation. This research will strengthen the data base of the Kazakh post-folklore study and will be a necessary material for future research.

Resumen
This article introduces the principles and practice of developing a terminological dictionary of Kazakh folklore, also were analyzed new terms based on the current achievements in Kazakh folklore. The main stages and directions of development of Kazakh folklore concepts and terms are directly related to the history of the terminology base formation in national folklore.The analysis showed that in Kazakh folklore there is a predominance of national and general Turkic terms, and the share of Russian language borrowed words is less.However, while folklore genres consist mainly of national terms, general folklore terms and concepts consist of international terms.In order to unify the terms in Kazakh folklore the systematization and formation of folklore scientific terms, transformation of authorized traditional terms, polysemy and competitive use of terms were considered.

Resumen
This article reveals the main elements of the epic world, which are the roots of Kazakh spirituality. Certain elements of modern Kazakh culture are also manifested. The ontological side of the topic is the spiritual and cultural philosophical values that make up the ideological basis of Kazakh folklore: freedom, honesty, conscientiousness, justice and resistance to promises. The purpose of our research is the social argumentation of the Kazakh epic, based on the national code and mentality at the present stage of modernization of the Kazakh society. The article states that the epic poems of the Kazakhs are archetypes of the mentality of values of modern Kazakhs. It is supposed to revive the philosophical and poetic creativity of the Kazakh people as mental qualities absorbed by future generations.

Relevance. The collection and study of Kazakh folklore are crucial for preserving the rich cultural heritage and ensuring its transmission to future generations. Understanding the processes involved in gathering, processing, and publishing folklore materials is essential for advancing the field of folklore studies and for maintaining the cultural identity of the Kazakh people. Purpose. This study aims to investigate the methods and practices of collecting Kazakh folklore in the first half of the XX century, highlighting the importance of systematic collection and the role of individual researchers in preserving and disseminating oral traditions. Methodology. The research involves a comprehensive analysis of historical records and scholarly works on the collection of Kazakh folklore, focusing on the techniques used by researchers to gather material directly from oral sources and the subsequent processes of transcription and preparation for publication. Results. The study reveals that the process of collecting Kazakh folklore in the early XX century was meticulous and required careful reproduction of oral narratives onto paper, ensuring their authenticity and accuracy. This method has been instrumental in preserving the genre-specific characteristics of folklore and providing a solid foundation for future research. Conclusions. The systematic collection and documentation of Kazakh folklore are vital for safeguarding the cultural heritage and supporting scholarly endeavors in folklore studies. By adhering to rigorous scientific standards in the collection and publication processes, researchers can ensure the integrity and longevity of this invaluable cultural resource. The article reveals the theoretical meaning of the concept and gives the definition of the conceptual field for a comprehensive analysis of the topic concept and conceptual field of homeland in Kazakh folklore. Also, the meaning of the concept of homeland in Kazakh knowledge was determined, the concept and conceptual field “homeland” in works of Kazakh folklore were considered. To consider the concept of “homeland” in Kazakh knowledge, which has become the core of our research work based on the heritage of folklore, we turn to the rich heritage of Kazakh people’s culture. The main core of any culture is language, revealing the essence and content of word concepts in the Kazakh language is the main problem of today. For this reason, the relevance of the topic requires the consideration of Kazakh folklore, which includes the cultural code of our people, to analyze the concept of Motherland in Kazakh knowledge and its conceptual field. The purpose of the study is to determine the peculiarity of the concept “homeland” reflected in Kazakh folklore, value attribute deeply reflected in the concept “homeland”. The objectives of the study are to examine the meaning of the concept of homeland in Kazakh knowledge, to consider the concept of native land in Kazakh folklore works and to determine the conceptual field of the concept “homeland”. For the Kazakh people, the concept of homeland is synonymous with the symbol of unlimited power in the people's understanding. From the conceptual field of the concept of the homeland, we understand the heroism, courage, freedom-loving, free nature of the Kazakh people and the character of the people who lived in prosperity and abundance. The results of the work can be used for research work of students in the humanitarian direction.

Resumen
The folklore of each nation is an indicator of national culture, its national identity, historical memory and worldview. Adapting to the environment, the people form their unique material and spiritual culture in accordance with the way of life. The Kazakh people, like other peoples, tried to interpret and convey the events of everyday life in various ways. Although folklore is an art created by the people, based on human wisdom, but it also acts as a true historical source. In folklore there are descriptions of historical events, pictures of everyday life and economic activity are reflected. Thus, the data of oral folk art are narrative sources among other types of sources. In accordance with the above facts, the author aims to consider traditional hunting on the examples of Kazakh folklore. In particular, on the basis of fairy tales, heroic and lyrical songs, ritual folklore and didactic folklore, the scenes of traditional hunting and the place of hunting in society are studied. An attempt was made through Kazakh folklore to show the national character and originality of traditional hunting, and the relationship between oral literature and ethnography was also revealed.

Kazakh music and dance has many unique features but also has many things in common with the music and dance of Mongolia and Central Asia. For Kazakhs the summer has traditionally been the best time for merry-making. They often sing and dance during summer nights on the pastures. The relevance of the study is due to the insufficient study of the Kazakh song folklore of the south-western part of Zhetysu, represented by eight districts of the borderland of Almaty and Zhambyl regions with Kyrgyzstan. This article is aimed at identifying the genre composition of the song folklore of the local tradition, the conditions of its existence, as well as the peculiarities of their musical-poetic structure and musical language. The results of this research are a contribution to the musical archeology of Kazakhstan. They can also be used in the study of the stylistic originality of the song folklore of the Kyrgyz and Uzbeks living in the border regions of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Until now, Kazakh folk prose has been widely studied cognitively. In general, folklore as a science pays great attention to the genre of prose. However, it would be wrong to say that all genres of Kazakh folklore have been studied and known to the broad masses. Despite the large number of humorous stories, in Kazakh folklore they are considered within other genres of prose. In other words, humorous stories in Kazakh folklore were not the subject of a separate, special study. If we pay attention to the opinions expressed in the writings of famous scientists-researchers in the field of folklore, it is confirmed that humorous stories are a branch of folk literature that is passed down from generation to generation. Despite the fact that humorous stories have been previously studied, it is natural that the latest advances in science raise questions that need to be revised, so we realized the importance of humorous stories in the work of our people and their study is a scientifically relevant topic. Thus, based on previous studies of the genres of folklore, this article examines the connection between humorous stories and other genres.

This research is devoted to the study of the linguistic expression of the national cultural notion in the folklore text on the example of the Kazakh and English linguistic cultures. According to the principles of modern linguistics, based on the anthropocentric paradigm, the definition of the individuality of each linguistic cultures (in this case, the Kazakh and British linguistic cultures and their languages) correspond the national and cultural values with a particularк importance. The reserach's main aim is to describe the features of the concept "tapkyrlyk-ingenuity" in folklore texts of Kazakh and British linguistic culture. The subject of the study is two fairy tales of linguistic cultures, "Jack and Beanstalk" from British folklore and "Cunning Aldar Kose" from Kazakh folklore. This study was qualitative and used ethnographic strategies. In addition, data obtained through questionnaire and text analysis. The relevance of this work is seen in the need to preserve and develop the folklore heritage of the people, which is the cultural identity of a particular ethnic group and has accumulated centuries-old spiritual and practical experiences of linguistic cultures. The results of the analysis allow the reader to draw some particular conclusions that are of interest for research that having certain distinctions in usage of the concept “tapkyrlyk-ingenuity”. Throughout human history, marriage and families have played a significant role. The establishment of marriage and the family was prompted by the early social era of human reason’s need for togetherness in order to survive. Naturally, the ancient knowledge and ways of life of the people were linked to and reflected in this route of growth. According to folklore, the complex of ritual ceremonies that take into account family values at the scientific level were first developed during the Soviet era and continued to grow during the independence era. One of the most important of them is Kazakh family traditions. Each of the traditions related to the creation of a family, which is considered to be the basis of the whole society, had its own deep meaning. But this was covered by the policy of "establishing the Soviet way of life" and caused the development of common international traditions. After gaining independence, family rites, including wedding rites and rites related to the meeting of the groom with the bride, received a new life, previously silenced aspects were scientifically substantiated, and their national significance was revived. That is why the revival of the educational and upbringing side of wedding rites is an urgent and important issue. The article deals with the historiography of Kazakh wedding ritual. Collected in it poetic, musical essence, history of family values, rich heritage of folk pedagogy and psychology together with the history of world cognition of the whole people represented a comprehensive value. The paper studies the ways of development of folklore as a science of research of family rituals, including wedding rituals, in different historical periods of Kazakh people’s life.

Research objectives: To identify the main reasons for the formation of the cult of Janibek Khan of the Golden Horde in the oral historical memory of the nomadic steppe tribes which was embodied in the narrative tradition of Kazakhs from the fifteenth to eighteenth century. Research materials: The texts of the Kazakh folklore sources from the last quarter of the eighteenth to the beginning of twentieth century, published in different genres (tales, epics, legends, fairy tales) and dedicated to Janibek Khan or characters of the oral narratives closely related to him. Results and novelty of the research: The historiography of the Golden Horde and the medieval history of Kazakhstan considers it conventional wisdom that Uzbek Khan (r. 1313–1342) played the decisive role in the Islamization of the tribal population of the Ulus of Jochi during the fourteenth century. However, none of the Kazakh folklore sources recorded from the last quarter of eighteenth to beginning of twentieth century mentions his name. Rather, this role is given to the son and successor of Uzbek, Janibek Khan, who is the most popular character of oral narratives of Kazakhs dedicated to the Eurasian Middle Ages. This fact leads to the conclusion that the innovative activities of Uzbek in the field of religion covered mainly the western part of the Ulus of Jochi but had a limited impact on the steppe nomads of the Eastern Dasht-i Kipchak. The main role in the spread of Islam and Islamic culture to the east of the Ural River valley, in the territory of the ethnic nomadic ancestors of the Kazakh tribes, was played by Janibek Khan, which was reflected in the popular historical consciousness of Kazakhs. This article demonstrates the influence of Sufism’s cult of the “saints” borrowed by Muslim communities of the steppe in the process of sacralization of the historical Janibek Khan in the Kazakh narrative tradition and highlights the most characteristic features of his mythologized image. The scholarly novelty consists in the statement of the abovementioned theme of research and the structural analysis of the revealed folklore texts, which allows one to solve the long-standing problem of the association of the folk literature Janibek Khan of the Golden Horde and the historical Kazakh Khan of the same name who ruled in the eastern part of the former Ulus of Jochi in the later period.

These significant events in literary processalso point to the dynamic development of cultural and literary intercommunication in the Turkicworld. It is known that worldview features of the nation are reflected on its art of the word. Forthis reason, it is important to study Kazakh-Uzbek literature with common historical roots in thecontext of comparative literature studies. This article examines Kazakh and Uzbek literaryrelations originating from folklore, and literary relations between them are divided intochronological periods in accordance with principles of historical development. The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the concept “homeland” in Kazakh folklore. The purpose of the study is to аnalyzing the notions and representations of “homeland” in the Kazakh creativity, the national features of the people's knowledge of the world, nature, the environment were determined. The scientific work analyzed the image of homeland in the national folklore of the Kazakh people, the linguistic use of the concept of homeland. At the same time, the concept of “homeland”, which is used in toponymic folklore genres, was also studied. The study of the verbalization of the concept “homeland” in Kazakh folklore revealed that the concept of Motherland for the nomadic Kazakh people is associated with the space in which they grew up and lived as a nation. Folklore works are one of the testimonies that show the height of spiritual being of Kazakh people. This great work of art is a boundless ocean, an inexhaustible treasure, and it does not grow old, and with the change of time grows anew, acquires a new genre character. The reason why the native land is hot for the human race is that it has lived in harmony with nature since time immemorial. It seems that the endless dark field expresses the value of the land to the generations and gives spirit from its side. That's why the people who defended their homeland with the tip of the spear and the edge of the sword until the last drop of blood on the spoon, named the places where they touched with childish love, taking into account its symbols, adding them to songs and songs, turning them into the core of legends. The results of the work can be used in the research work of students in the humanities.

It is known that the concept of the language, literature, and culture of any people originates from folklore and is reflected there. Folklore is a rich literary heritage of the people, the art of words, everyday life, and the pearl of the national culture. It contains a lot of information and information related to the national worldview. In today's era of globalization, the use of folklore models at the "Kazakh language" lesson can not only increase the vocabulary, richness of language, skills of word use, but also expand the cognitive horizons of students and become of great importance in the direction of national education in the question of how we can absorb and convey this spiritual heritage to young people. The article will talk about the methodology of using Kazakh folklore in the process of teaching the state language – Kazakh. The possibility of using information related to folklore, exercises in reading, listening, pronunciation, and writing tasks of speech activity is discussed from the point of view of practical training. During each lesson, students are told about the cognitive and educational aspects of folklore. Types of tasks with proverbs, sayings and riddles of folklore patterns can be used by converting them according to the topics in the standard program. This is due to the fact that these patterns of folklore are compact in size, rhythmic in pronunciation, and are easy to perceive by the language learner. The structure of proverbs and sayings is compact and simple, but the vocabulary, richness of the language, develops the student's horizons, expands the use of words, teaches expressive speech. Unfortunately, the use of riddles, one of the small genres of folklore, has become rare recently. Therefore, in order to promote the rich national heritage it is necessary to give more riddles in the lesson. Riddles develop the human mind, expand the student's worldview, enrich the language in the process of identifying the implied thought. At the “Kazakh language” lesson folklore samples obtained in connection with the text help to master the topic, reveal its content.

The article raises the problem of the lack of up-to-date digital content in the Kazakh language for toddlers (pre-school) (from 1 to 3 years), including “foreign-language children”. The authors associate the expediency of developing effective digital content in the form of animated short films for toddlers primarily with the stage of active formation of their speech at this age and an increased ability to explore the world around them. At the same time, the authors propose the development of such digital content based on the materials of Kazakh children’s folklore (tongue twisters, poems and rhymes). The expediency of such an approach is explained by taking into account the national specifics and the original Kazakh culture contained in the linguistic and cultural material of Kazakh children’s folklore, which if used correctly will contribute to the upbringing of children in the spirit of folk traditions and customs, instilling a national and cultural mentality. Another problem is the need to create scientific-methodological support for the development of such digital animation content. According to the authors, this necessity is due to the lack of scientific justification of the pedagogical educational potential of Kazakh children’s folklore in toddlers’ speech formation, the absence of comprehensive studies of the peculiarities of speech formation in toddlers under the influence of children’s folklore expressed in the form of digital animation content in domestic practice, the lack of interesting cognitive digital content for toddlers, embodying modern methods of early language learning, features of the perception of the material by toddlers, the national identity of the Kazakh children’s folklore. In conclusion, the authors offer their vision of the development of scientific and methodological support for the creation of digital animation content for toddlers based on the materials of Kazakh children’s folklore, which, according to the authors, should include 4 consistently complementary activities designed to ensure the logic of the research implemented by the authors within the framework of the project funded by the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Grant Project No. AP14870635).

The article deals with one of the significant problems of contemporary culture – the ratio of global and local on the example of mastering of national folklore in the works of graphic artists of Kazakhstan. The authors trace changes in visual interpretation of Kazakh folklore in the context of development of the visual art of Kazakhstan in different socio-historical conditions. The main issue for researchers is the actualization of folklore in the modern Kazakh graphic art and comics, which reflects common identification strategies, as folklore provides an opportunity to represent ethno-cultural identity, and simultaneously, through turning to folklore motifs, artists try to learn new art forms and reach innovative formal and conceptual solutions, meaningful in the global context. The recognized problem is largely brought up to date by the popularity of comics with modern audiences. The features of motifs depicting rituals, holidays, ritual scenes, which, according to researchers, are associated with the expansion of the influence of the traditional culture of the Kazakh people, the appeal of graphic artists to national codes, moral imperatives of the nation, as well as their active propaganda, are studied. It is revealed that the appeal to folklore, the use of its figurative-semantic system leads to the fact that in easel graphics and comics not related to the illustration of folklore, the folklore understanding of the hero as a fighter against chaos and instability of the world is used, performing the therapeutic function of adaptation to modern reality.In this article the attention is given not only to Kazakh graphic art, but also to the achievements of the global graphic art, which allows revealing the potential of global art trends for innovations on a regional scale.

Occupying a special position in the oral folk art of any nation, children’s folklore is a complex field, which interrelates two areas: folklore for children and folklore created by children, learned from adults, and passed on from some children to other children. Human world and values are reflected in folklore - thus the ethnographic study of children’s folklore contributes to the understanding of the specifics of various cultures, and children’s participation in them. The purpose of the study is to describe children’s folklore in the Kazakh, Russian, and English languages from the linguistic and cultural comparative perspectives. The importance of identifying the lexical and phraseological features of different genres of children’s folklore and describing their common and culturally marked characteristics lies in the fact that despite the availability of ethnographic studies of children’s folklore in some cultures, there doesn’t exist a single research on cross-cultural comparative perspectives of various genres of children’s folklore. The study employed analytical descriptive, and comparative methods. The research data were collected through the online sociolinguistic surveys parallelly conducted in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation. Texts of children’s folklore in English were taken from the collections Nursery Rhymes and Mother Goose’s Songs . The amount of research data made nearly 2000 Kazakh, Russian and English children’s folklore texts. The study revealed that the genre variety of children’s folklore leaves an imprint on the language of each genre. The lexical and phraseological analysis of various genres of children’s folklore demonstrated an active use of neologisms, transrational language and personal names. Children’s folklore is characterized not only by genre and intragenre dynamics, but also by historical changes.

The article deals with the formation of folklore, its influence on the development of traditional culture, song art of the Kazakh people and their features, the role of the Kazakh people in preserving spiritual wealth and values. A review of scientific research on oral literature, analyzed the collection of folk motifs, their distribution among the people, and mythical stories in ancient Turkic monuments. Based on the research, the ways of forming the spiritual values of the Kazakh people through national literature and culture, the importance of folk heritage as a means of preserving traditional culture are identified. The special role of children's folklore in the education of the younger generation and the formation of spiritual values is shown. It is revealed that the folklore genre forms the traditional culture and closely develops together with the people for many centuries.

There is a widely developed epic genre called "folk poem" in the list of Kyrgyz folklore. The article presents "Er-Eshim" historical and heroic poem. Historical events about the Kazakh Khan and the son of Shigay Khan - Yesim Khan, vivid genealogies of legends, historical songs, legends and friendship, kinship, the unity of the Kyrgyz and Kazakh people, as well as historical joint events became the basis for the creation of "Er Eshim" poem. There is also a version of "Er Eshim" by word of a talented storyteller and akyn - Togolok Moldo. This poem of high artistic merit is considered a masterfully embodied work that artistically personifies the images of historical figures, historical events of the Kyrgyz and Kazakh people.

The article deals with the connection of family folklore with Ethnography. It is well known that ritual folklore is closely related to Ethnography. First of all, it is the common features in their origin and functions that stand out. These are, of course, visible connections. And if we go deeper, we will see a multi-faceted, very complex root system. After all, the structure of ritual works, methods of depicting reality, content, plot lines, sets of motives, so to speak, the entire system of poetic structure is inextricably linked to the study of rituals, but these relationships have their own laws of relativity. The purpose of this article is to explore these paths. Such Parallels, which in the world of folklore are called "common places", are constantly repeated in different genres in the form of formulas. This is a very important element in the study of folk poetics. This opens up wide opportunities for studying traces of the ancient worldview and mythological consciousness, especially with the help of ethnographic and folklore materials.

Purpose. In the conditions of accelerated development of modernization processes in Kazakhstan, there is increased interest in the study of Kazakh heritage by historians and ethnographers of the 19th – 20th centuries. The purpose of this work is to identify the main scientific issues in the ethnography of the Kazakhs covered in Grigorii Nikolaevich Potanin’s studies. Scientific works of this outstanding scientist in this respect are particularly relevant. Firstly, the researcher was born in one of the fortifications in the Kazakh steppe and had a good command of the Kazakh language as he was familiar with the peculiarities of culture and life of the Kazakh people since his childhood. Secondly, he was a famous ethnographer, a member of the Russian Geographical Society and participated in several scientific expeditions on the territory of Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China. This article deals with studying the traditional culture of the Kazakh people by the famous ethnographer G. N. Potanin (1835–1920). We analyze the main works of the researcher devoted to the study of the spiritual culture of the Kazakh people. On the basis of our study, we identify that the study of folklore was one of central and most important issues among the various scientific aspects G. N. Potanin raised. Results. G. N. Potanin focused on studying oral folk art of the Kazakh people including genealogical legends. He analyzed the origin of those legends and their similarities with legends of other peoples. The researcher also collected and recorded fairy tales, proverbs, riddles and tongue twisters of the Kazakh people. G. N. Potanin proved the so-called “eastern hypothesis” of the origin and development of the medieval European epic. In our opinion, G. N. Potanin concentrated on studying oral folk art because it reflects the life of the Kazakh people. The researcher noted a certain influence of Islam and Central Asian culture on the traditional culture of the Kazakh people. He studied ethnic composition, social structure, traditional economy and material culture of the Kazakh people. Conclusion. Thus, the study of Kazakh folklore, including oral and musical creativity, was the main important issue in G. N. Potanin’s research. He made conclusions on the ethnic composition, the traditional system of life support of the Kazakh people. In this small work, we noted only a small range of aspects that are reflected in the work of the great researcher. It is necessary to widen the range of archival materials studied to continue investigating the heritage of this outstanding Russian scientist, a true friend of the Kazakh people.

Books published in Kazakh before the October Revolution are important for the study of folklore, ethnography, literary, cultural life of modern Kazakhstan. Valuable sources allow modern researchers to get new information about how the oral literature of the Kazakh people was collected, where it was preserved, how and by whom it was published. Before joining Russia, books in the Kazakh language were not published in Kazakhstan. There were separate editions in Arabic, Persian and Chagatai languages. Books including Kazakh poems, heroic epics, fairy tales were published in St.Petersburg, Kazan, Orenburg, Tashkent. They were published in the Karimov and Kusainov printing houses at Kazan University. By the middle of the XIX century, Russian scientists began to collect materials, study and comprehensively analyze the way of life, lifestyle, religion, language and oral literature of the Turkic-speaking peoples, including Kazakhs. Among them are famous orientalists-turkologists N.F. Katanov, A.E. Alektorov, P.M. Melioransky, V.V. Bartold, I.N. Berezin, A.V. Vasiliev, N.Ya. Sarkin, M.N. Bekimov, A.A. Divaev, A.D. Nesterev, N. Pantusov, N.I. Ilminsky, G.N. Potanin and others. In result of study of rare publications in libraries and materials in archives, it was found that most of the folklore works collected and studied by researchers were published a century ago, or even earlier. Manche of these works of oral literature wurden not republished, either in Soviet times or during the period of independence. In this article, a textual study is carried out based on a comparison of the text of a work published before the October Revolution with a version published today. Due to comparative analysis in the historical context, it is established whether there is a difference and differences between the text in the original and its later edition. The article examines the textual structure of Kazakh fairytale «Karamergen», which was collected and studied by Russian Orientalists and Turkologists.

The article is devoted to the study of such topical issue as ethnic distinctness of works written by translingual authors in the context of the value paradigm of the national view of the world. The notion of “national view of the world” is characterized from the point of view of traditionalism and dynamism of its content. The article considers peculiarities of transculturalism and translingualism and pays special attention to the problem of bilingual and multilingual creative personality’s ethnic self-identification. The author also analyzes the notion “image of linguoculture” and studies the significance of Kazakh linguocultural images in the process of transferring the national content of life and its axiological meanings. The study is based on the material of the poetic discourse of Olzhas Suleymenov. As a result of contextual analysis of the poetic texts of the Kazakh poet, linguistic and cultural images reflecting fragments of the Kazakh national picture of the world were revealed. The article presents objectified images of the Kazakh linguistic culture in lyrical texts, which reflect national customs and traditions, images of the historical past of the Kazakh steppes, traditional images of Kazakh folklore and literature, proper names, objects of national life, cuisine, clothing, crafts of the Kazakhs. As the analysis showed, the translingual poetic creativity of the classic of modern Kazakh literature contributes to the formation of the paradigm of cultural values of the Kazakh national worldview

One of the urgent problems of modern Kazakh literature is the analysis of the world of fiction, outside of its historical homeland, the analysis of development trends, the study of prospects, the assessment of the present, the identification of its main representatives. If we talk about the fact that national literature has deep historical roots, then it can be argued that Kazakh literature, which in each country and in different places is distinguished by its local and regional characteristics, is its fruitful, multifaceted Golden Branch. Therefore, the timely study of the rich cultural and literary heritage of near and far abroad is due to national necessity. Akyt Ulimzhiuly is a man who published several books in Kazakh history during his life. He is a great poet and educator at the level of Abai, Shakarim. Of no small importance is the contribution and significance of the works of Akyt Ulimzhiuly to the popularization of traditions, literature, culture, religion, history, philosophy, psychology of the Kazakh people at the end of the 19th-first quarter of the 20th century. Due to the historical reasons of that period, the poet lived alternately in the rich regional region of China and Mongolia. His works reflect the life, religion, state, being, customs, worldview of the Kazakh people who inhabited these two regions. It was in this direction that we studied the life path of the poet-scientist, teacher-educator, public and religious figure, one of the founders of written literature Akyt Ulimzhiuly, who follows the main Kazakh poet Abay. We would like to analyze his rich literary heritage, his national position and reveal the folklore side of Akyt's works. In particular, this article will be devoted to the problem of the poetics of folklore and works by A. Ulimzhiuly. Folklorism, consideration of the patterns of folklore integrity, differentiation of manifestations of folklore motifs underlie the goals and objectives of the study.

The teachings and works of Hoja Ahmet Yasawi are of great importance to Kazakh national culture. The collection «Diwani Hikmet» is a unique work composed of symmetrical dimensions, in rhythmic, branching, rhyming style, containing many wise thoughts and philosophical generalizations. It is filled with reflections in the form of prayers, proverbs and stories to help educate humanity in faith, brotherhood, love and kindness. The collection of wisdom is an important monument of culture and literature of the Turkic peoples, including the Kazakh people. The wisdom and philosophical thoughts it contains are very relevant even for the modern society. Since the collection is oriented towards a nomadic environment, it was written under the influence of oral artistic tradition. Therefore, it is closely related to the oral literature of the Kazakh people. Hikmet was not only related to the oral tradition of folklore and oral, folklore literature that preceded it. As a result of oral distribution, they have greatly influenced the formation of many genres, themes and art forms of the whole Turkic, and especially Kazakh, folklore. The purpose of this research paper is to determine the content and form of connection and continuity between the oral literature of the Kazakh people and the collection of Yasawi «Diwani Hikmet». The article aims to describe the content and art forms of Yasawi wisdom that originated in the oral artistic tradition of the Kazakh people, as well as to identify common artistic origins from which they both are rooted. The materials and results of the analysis of Hikmets of Yasawi can form the basis for the creation of new theoretical works.

The article discusses the importance of children’s folklore in the preservation of folktraditions. Folklore works occupy an important place in the aesthetic education of the futuregeneration. Consequently, Kazakh children’s folklore is the basis for the developmentand renewal of national culture. This is an indelible legacy that determines the essence andcontent of existence, historical destiny, existence, and worldview of a national civilization. Theconcepts developed in the years after gaining sovereignty in order to consolidate the personalityof the child, the noble heritage of our people, respect for Kazakh folklore, traditions, love forthe country, land, actions of moral and aesthetic feelings, reveal the role of oral literature inpreserving patriotism, morality, humanism, aesthetic culture and spiritual wealth, life in theconsciousness of the people this people in the past, dreams, customs. Folklore works for childrenrepresent the noble heritage of our people, accumulated over centuries, based on the formationof children’s own fantasies, requirements, thoughts, opportunities to perceive aesthetically, tofeel the surrounding phenomenon in accordance with the age of preschoolers. Folklore worksfor children are a valuable genre that listens to children with interest, increases their creativeabilities, develops logical thinking and vocabulary.

Like many folk genres, ancient steppe problems are written in both poetic and prosaic form, with a predominance of syncretic character. This clearly indicates the need to study the problems of the ancient steppe as a folklore work. The scientific article examines the formation of folklore heritage using ethnographic data, analyzes the cultural heritage of the Kazakh people, characterizing the national worldview and national code. Such issues as the influence of folklore creative works on the spheres of «traditional education», «folk pedagogy», «ethnopedagogy» and their features, as well as the role of folklore heritage in preserving the spiritual wealth and national values of the Kazakh people are considered. A comprehensive review of scientific research in the field of folklore studies was conducted, works were considered in which lexical, linguistic, lexico-grammatical, stylistic analysis of texts of family ritual folklore was carried out. Based on the conducted research, the importance of enhancing the historical and spiritual values of our people through folklore creative works as an instrument of our traditional culture and national education were determined. Tracing the traditions and customs of the ancestors, characterizing the past and the national worldview, we came to the conclusion that the genre of folklore is a branch of knowledge that has been developed and studied for centuries and is widely used in folk pedagogy. The article analyzes the results of an association experiment conducted at the university within the framework of the discipline "Folk Verbal Literature" in order to describe the linguistic units characterizing our folklore heritage. The main goal is to popularize the application of folklore creative works to national education, to study the need to teach folklore, to form the theoretical and methodological basis of folk pedagogy using the folklore heritage as an example.

The article is dedicated to the study of data on the history of relationships between the Kazakhs and the Central Asian Khanates in the 18th – the 19th centuries, which are contained in the poetry of national oral tradition of that time. The article analysis historical facts, which are contained in the works of Qozhabergen zhyrau Tolibayuly (1663-1763), Zhankisi zhyrau (the beginning of the 19th century), Dulat Babatayuly (1802-1871), Shortanbay Kanayuly (1818-1881) and Kerdery Aubakir Shokanuly (1861-1905). Based on the source study analysis of Kazakh authors’ works, such as Aktaban shubyryndy, Alkakol sulama, Reflections of Zhanqozha Batyr, Auelgi qazaq degen zhurt, Otken imanshylyq zamandi zhoqtap aytkany, the several stages of relationships between Kazakh Steppe and Khiva, Bukhara and Kokand are reconstructed.

The object of the article is traditional and artistic Kazakh culture. The subject is the manifestation of the national tradition in the story "White Heavenly Butterflies" from the cycle "Hotels from China" by the modern Kazakh writer Rakhimzhan Otarbaev. The material for the article is the creative heritage of the writer. Much attention is paid to the folklore and Sufi traditions in the work, which are expressed both explicitly and implicitly. The research methodology is reduced to a holistic ontohermeneutical analysis aimed at highlighting the folklore, ethnographic paradigm of this story. Much attention is paid to the musical code in the story, since for the Kazakh culture music is the primary element from which the universe, the world tree, is born. The results of the study are to identify the cultural potential of the story of a modern Kazakh writer for further study of the national image of the world of Kazakhstan. The results of the work can also be used in teaching courses on the culture and literature of the peoples of Russia and the CIS countries, cultural studies, and philosophy.

This paper deals with the analysis of Kazakh folk prose texts and provides the criteria for performing functions such as aesthetic, didactic, and practical education of genres. Through this study, distinct attributes and cultural significance within Kazakh folk prose were uncovered, fostering a profound comprehension of literary heritage. To achieve this, various global folklore studies approach is employed to explore the enchanting appeal of Kazakh folk prose, particularly within the realm of fairy tales, and its ability to impart invaluable life lessons. Furthermore, non-fictional prose was revealed to serve as a conduit for conveying practical knowledge concerning Kazakhstan’s natural environment and historical past. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the unique nature and features of Kazakh folk prose, it is imperative to adopt an inclusive approach that takes into account both its cognitive and artistic dimensions. Scholars who have delved into the genres of Kazakh folk prose and their artistic functionalities have made substantial contributions to our holistic comprehension of this cherished legacy, shedding light on its cultural implications, and showcasing the collective wealth of the Kazakh people. By dissecting these notions, this study unveils the efficacy of a comprehensive grasp of the literary heritage, encompassing its cultural significance and nuanced delineation of invaluable ideas. We are of the conviction that this endeavor will kindle the ardor for safeguarding and distinguishing the prose legacy within Kazakh folklore, propelling onward investigations and a heightened reverence for this illustrious literary lineage.

This article deals with a previously unknown subject of scientific intellectual biography of A.Kh. Margulan, known in the world of science as an archaeologist, creator of a scientific biography and collection of works of Ch. Valikhanov, as well as a collector and researcher of Kazakh folklore. The authors analyze the history of Alkei Margulan's participation in the discussion of the first fundamental research on the national history of the republic, “The History of the Kazakh SSR”. The article quotes excerpts from the speech of A.Kh. Margulan at the meeting of the Academic Council of the Institute of History of the USSR, in which he defended the concept of the book with arguments. The application of historical and biographical method in the study allowed to use literary and artistic methods of presentation of the material, to give the subject of intellectual biography an emotionality and to form the author's position in assessing the personality of A.H. Margulan. Alkei Margulan's research on ancient, medieval and new history of the Kazakhs allowed to present the world of the Kazakh heroic epos to the contemporaries, to ensure the continuity of the history of the Kazakhs for several millennia. The article is devoted to the analysis of existential-philosophical aspect and historical bases of the genre “joktau” (lament). The researcher shows that this genre inherited oral-poetic traditions of Sak, Hun, Uysun tribes and has deep roots of existential philosophy of Kazakh people. The author relies on the works of famous philosophers, folklorists and linguists in his research. According to the author's opinion, joktau reflects the humanistic worldview of Kazakhs about human existence and the meaning of each stage of the human life’s cycle “birth-growth-death”. The living tradition of joktau, along with its deep philosophical significance, demonstrates the genesis of folklore poetics and reflects the historical reality of the era in which it was created. The author emphasizes the world outlook connection of joktau with Kazakh myths and fairy tales. The text of «Joktau on Hajj Abdullah», which was found by the author in the manuscripts fund of the National Academy of Sciences is of great historical value. This oral-poetic text reflects the era of colonization of Kazakh lands by the tsarist power of Russia. Zhoktau describes how Kazakh tribes, that lost their lands, migrated from the eastern region of Kazakhstan and wandered in search of a home in Mongolia, China and Russia. The researcher notes that the joktau genre needs a deep study as it is an important monument of oral folk art, associated with the worldview, life philosophy and history of the Kazakhs.

Relevance. Folk songs, fairy tales, riddles, and tongue twisters are important for their emotional impact on a person, and the study of folklore allows a better understanding and feeling the spirit of the people, their worldview, culture, and history. The relevance of the study is based on the fact that at the present stage, due attention is paid to the use of folklore in the educational process in secondary school. Purpose. The purpose of the study: determine the role of folklore in the educational process through the conducted analysis of knowledge in secondary schools of Kazakhstan, identify the main genres of folklore, show the main techniques and methods of teaching folklore. Methodology. Comparative, descriptive, deductive, axiomatic, dogmatic, and abstraction methods and the method of analysis and synthesis were used to clarify this subject. Results. The result of the study was the definition of the concept of folklore and consideration of the classification of genres. The empirical part of the study consists of a survey conducted among 44 pupils, and a survey of 15 teachers of the highest category of secondary schools in Kazakhstan on the methodology of teaching folklore, its impact on the upbringing of the younger generation, and the activation of the educational process in general. Conclusions. The study examines Kazakh folklore and its components, shows the model of teaching folklore at school. The study allowed identifying certain features and assessing the prospect of further introduction of folklore teaching methods into the educational system of Kazakhstan, and developing recommendations for studying Kazakh folklore for grades 5-6. The practical importance of this subject is due to the main methodological aspects that affect the effectiveness of the use of certain methods of teaching folklore in secondary schools. The article presents main examples of Cossack military culture and his role in the daily lives of Kuban, Ural and Kazakh Cossack communities. The investigated material consists of a corpus of oral works (songs, proverbs), examples of rituals, elements of the physical education system and folk games. Cossack folk culture and traditions were based upon the fundament of military society. Its members placed their identity in the broader context of warfare, which they understood both as a source of income and glory, as both a practical and ethical interpretation of their historical role. The article's methodology is based on the functional analysis, ethnographic studies and comparative literature methods. Research on this aspect of Cossack culture is an important element of broader studies on Cossack identity. The analyzed materials shed light on the process of creating historical memories and identities of Cossack communities and fits into a wider range of Cossack studies. The theme of patriotism has a special place in the poems of Fariza Ongarsynova, one of the most popular poets in Kazakh literature in the 1960s. The fiery poems of the poet, who has a tender soul and sharp words, widely describe the past history and heroic events of the nation. People's writer of Kazakhstan, public figure, laureate of the State Prize named after Abai, outstanding poet Fariza Ongarsynova is one of the most famous lyric poets in Kazakh literature, as well as an example for contemporaries and the next generation of poets and writers. The poet, who wrote in various content and won everyone's hearts with her works, was mentioned in various articles and works about her poems. However, all of them were about her literary genre and her aesthetical feature. In this study, we tried to prove that we can use Fariza Ongarsınova’s works as valuable information to study and learn the folklore of Kazakh people. By specifying the folkloric elements in her poems, the way of using them in poetry will be examined. General information will be given by determining the poems written for relative’s names and heroes. “Anany zhoqtau” (The mourning for mother), “Anamen qoshtasu” (Farewell to mother), “Agalar” (Brothers), “Keybir zhengeyler” (Some sister’s in law), “Ake turaly oi” (The thought about father) the importance and relations of kinship in poems and the way they are told in poetry, “Qabanbay Batyr”, “Isataiga” (to Isatai), “Almas qylysh nemese men Mahambetpen qalay kezdestim” (Blade-sword or how I meet Mahambet), “Qyran turaly zhyr” (Epic about an eagle), “Qazaqtyn’ batyrlary” (Kazakh’s heroes) poems will examine the historical heroes of Kazakh people and the way the poet depicts them.

The phenomenology of religion examines the concept of the "sacred" in different social and sociocultural contexts. These concepts refer to divinity, the power given to living people by the Creator, and are also often associated with nature (animals, plants, water, springs, springs, etc.). Also, the concept of "sacred" in traditional and post-traditional Kazakh culture and worldview can be considered as a special value given to humanity by the Creator, associated with theistic concepts of holiness. In the article, using some ethnographic examples, the role and meaning of the concept "sacred" in the worldview of modern Kazakhs is determined, its role as a national value and its continuity with religious beliefs, customs and traditions, the religious nature of the Kazakh culture is premodern. The development of these concepts to this day plays a role in our traditional religion, folklore, customs and rituals passed down from generation to generation.

The research object is the Kazakh national image of the world, namely the Kazakh people’s idea of the life and death. The research subject is the symbolic meaning of the story “White Celestial Butterflies” from the cycle “Gifts from China” by Rakhimzhan Otarbayev. The research material is the artistic legacy of the modern Kazakh writer. The ethos of life and death in the story are hermeneutically reconstructed. Much attention is paid to the folklore and Sufi traditions in the literary work, which were expressed both explicitly and implicitly. The research methodology is reduced to a holistic ontohermeneutic analysis aimed at highlighting the folklore, ethnographic paradigm of the literary text. Much attention is paid to the musical code in the story, since in Kazakh culture, music is the primary element from which the universe, the world tree emerges. Parallels are drawn with the Russian national space, in which one of the leading codes, national constants is also a tree embodying the functions of the world axis. The research results are in identifying the cultural potential of the story by the modern Kazakh writer for further research on the national topic of Kazakhstan. The results can also be used in training courses on the culture and literature of the peoples of Russia and the CIS countries, culturology, philosophy.

The article discusses the issue of the pedagogical and educational impact of animation on the development of toddlers, and the disclosure of their speech potential. At the same time, the key aspect is animated content based on children's folklore materials. The authors analyzed domestic and Russian animated films for toddlers in the Kazakh and Russian languages, revealing their pedagogical and educational potential. In 60-70s of the last century, Kazakh animation art was based on the works of Kazakh children's folklore and played an important role in the upbringing of the child, the formation of the best qualities in him, the national picture of the world. Due to a long period of stagnation in the animation art of Kazakhstan, there is a lack of animation content in the Kazakh language for toddlers, which has pedagogical and educational value; dominance in the information space of foreign animation products. This causes the problem of the formation and development of speech in the Kazakh language in children who prefer foreign cartoons and master the world through the prism of foreign language and culture. The authors conclude that digital animation content is a powerful educational tool for the development of toddlers. At the same time, when creating cartoons for toddlers, it is important not only the content side but also the sound side of speech, and interactivity.

In Kazakh phraseology, a special group consists of phraseological units of religious origin. The specifics of the study of such phraseological units is the need to focus on religious sources. In phraseological units of religious origin, both religious and secular worldviews are represented in the Kazakh language. Therefore, such phraseological units were considered in the paper not as «religious», but as «based on religion».The purpose of the study is to describe the structural and semantic features of phraseological units of religious origin. In this regard, the tasks are set to show the space of their use and their connection with religious sources.One of the peculiarities of the connection of Kazakh phraseological units with the Quran, hadith is that phraseological units are not reflected in the Quran, hadith in the same lexical composition, i.e. they are not extracted from religious writ ings, but are semantically related to their texts. Phraseological units related to religious rites, religious personalities, religious folklore, religious morality are referred thematically to this group. The figurative and situational motivation of such phraseological units is connected with the religious folk knowledge of native speakers of the Kazakh language.Phraseological units of religious origin in the Kazakh language are structurally divided into phraseological units in the form of a phrase and phraseological units in the form of a sentence.In Kazakh phraseological units of religious origin, only three lexemes act as the lexical core: Allah (God, Tengri), iman, and sacred numbers.Religious folklore, especially religious epics, has a special place in the formation of Kazakh phraseological units of religious origin. Therefore, linguistic facts were collected and analyzed from religious epics, as well as from the phraseological dictionary.

Over the years, the spiritual heritage of the great Abai Kunanbayev has been studied in terms of various aspects of socio-humanitarian science, such as linguistics, literary criticism, philosophy, history, psychology, sociology, etc. This article reflects the creative intentions of the thinker, who raised the spiritual potential of the Kazakh people to the world level, as well as the influence of European and Russian culture on Abai’s work. In Hakim Abai’s works, the problems of the national life of the Kazakhs, their worldview, character, religion, mentality, language and spirituality are raised, which are an invaluable heritage for the modern younger generation. As we know that in Abai’s studies, the main object is a person, i.e. personality who is perfect and worthy of respect. The scientist-thinker deeply impressed by aesthetic, ethical preferences, dreams, the meaning of life, feelings and intuition, the peculiarities of being and thinking of his imaginary image of a perfect Kazakh. Abai’s poems are rich in philosophical reflections and patriotic appeals. He found inspiration in Kazakh folklore and preached ideas and images of national heroes. Furthermore, the article represents the connection between the achievements of Abai’s poetic heritage and its creative potential in general.

The little-known Kazakh animated film, Why the Swallow’s Tail is Forked (1967), written and directed by Amen Khaydarov, not only holds the position as the first example, but is also acclaimed as the greatest work of Kazakh animation by critics, academics, and contemporary animators. The film, based on the traditional Kazakh folk tale of the same name, was significantly altered by Khaydarov in his auteurist direction resulting in a radical retelling. Despite these alterations, Khaydarov’s variant of the folk tale resonated with viewers of the period as well as today. In this paper I argue how certain motifs are changed, added, and removed from the original folk tale by Khaydarov, consciously or unconsciously, to incorporate new allegorical elements in the folk tale. This essay takes an “animated look” at the film in that it performs a close reading of a folk tale through a film medium. After performing a shot by shot analysis, I deconstruct alleged “traditional” Kazakh elements, then analyze the dreamlike nature of pastoral national identity, the interplay of film, written, and spoken folklore, and the rhizomatic structure of folklore through audio and visual elements. Ultimately, I return to the film and display it as a construction of a specific nationalist narrative thus shedding light on the broader pastoral nationalist vision.

The conceptual picture of the world is a set of concepts, knowledge about the universe, historically formed in the minds of a particular linguistic collective, embodied in the language and constantly updated. Mythological works have a special place in the comprehensive consideration of the conceptual picture of the world. "Myth" is the oldest type of spiritual culture of human beings. The first manifestations of human knowledge are mythical and folklore works. Although there are scientific works related to myth in world and Kazakh folklore, the study of English and Kazakh mythical images is considered for the first time. This article investigates the spiritual, cultural continuity and features of the knowledge of the two countries through a comparative analysis of Kazakh and English mythologems, as well as the nature, use, and semantic changes of linguistic phenomena. It will also be discussed how these myths shape the linguistic picture of the world in each culture. The results of this study contribute to such fields of science as psychology, neuroscience, linguistics and philosophy, religious studies and cultural anthropology.

The article is devoted to the problem of existence and analysis of the current state of legends and toponymic legends of Central Kazakhstan. The material was the texts recorded by the authors on expeditions to the Karaganda region in 2012 and 2017. The current state of the folklore of Central Kazakhstan is marked by the functioning of certain genres: legends, wedding poetry, proverbs, toponymic legends. The main layer of the functioning of folklore samples falls on legends and toponymic legends. It is concluded that the Kazakh legends are characterized by a specific informative function. The main plot-forming component is the character, around which all the material is united, the plots themselves, as a rule, are single-motive, do not contain fantastic elements and are designed as a narration about the recent past. The paper notes that toponymic legends explain the names of localities and are associated, as a rule, with the names of famous people. The specificity of the names is the use of speaking names or similarity with natural phenomena. The authors argue that the active functioning of folklore samples indicates a favorable folklore situation and the prospects for further research on the sociocultural aspect of Kazakh non-fairytale prose.

Each genre of folklore grows together with the public concepts and logic. Thoughts and knowledge in the folklore unite common phenomena in the system of people’s artistic thinking. In the course of this process a national identity, life principles, and a common system of thinking appear in the folklore of each nation. Fairy tale is the genre that retains these features. Fairy tales have the ability to help people’s endless dreams and imaginations, and lead them with hope. The miraculous phenomena in fairy tales, created by the imagination, are ordinary life forms that people dreamed of. There is a certain motif that underlay the events from people’s imagination. These motifs are constantly repeated and become the basis for the emergence of new works. This article considers the special birth of the main character as one of the constant motifs of fairy tales. The symbolic meaning of the motifs as “Miracle of birth”, “Rapid growth”, “Miracle helpers” in heroic tales are analyzed. It is emphasized that these motifs are the main driving force of the storyline in heroic tales. The permanent picture of mythical knowledge, mythical motifs and images in the structure of heroic fairy tales and the relationship of motifs are considered. As a result of the analysis of storylines and mythical motifs in heroic tales, preserved in the memory of mankind since ancient times, some important conclusions have been drawn.

In Mangystau sacred texts (petroglyphs, epitaphs, inscriptions), the image of a horse occupies a special place. There is a mythological concept of the «sea horse» in the folklore of the peoples living near the Caspian Sea. «Water stallion» coming out of the water is used as a symbol of speed in the language of giraffes. The article examines the researches of the Kazakh local historian, geographer, ethnographer, mythologist Serikbol Kondybai regarding the «sea horse» in Turkish mythology. Serikbol Kondybai says that the root of the word «ertteu» in the Kazakh language is connected with the person «ert» and its original meaning is «order». He said that to saddle a horse is to tame a horse, thereby moving from chaos to space. In this article, Serikbol’s opinion was supplemented with ethnographic, archeological, folklore research data and analyzed. Scientific information was given on the Turkish genesis of the horse cult, which complements S. Kondybai’s historical-linguistic, cognitive-folkloric research. As a result of the study, the final opinion was proposed that «the domestication of the horse is the beginning of human civilization.» As documentary material for the article, materials of a field expedition organized in 2020-2022 as part of the scientific project «AP08856996 Conceptual space of sacred texts of Mangystau (zhyrau texts, epitaph inscriptions, petroglyphs)» were used.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the psycholinguistic features of the male portrait in fairy tales in the different structural linguistic cultures: Khanty, Russian, Kazakh and Chinese. The choice is determined by the belonging of these peoples to traditional cultures with varying degrees of transformation of behavioral stereotypes. Traditional culture considers a man as the head of a large family, a protector, a breadwinner, a landowner with the competencies of a fisherman and a hunter, so a woman with children needs his help and care. In this regard, the purpose of this study is the need, based on the psycholinguistic features of personal characteristics, to reveal the masculine image in the tales of Khanty, Russians, Kazakhs and Chinese. The authors analyze the psycholinguistic and stylistic means of representing masculine traits in the fairy tales of these peoples. Kazakh, Khanty, Russian and Chinese fairy tales for the first time become the object of psycholinguistic characterization of personal characteristics on the example of the image of masculinity. The course of reasoning on the topic of the study leads the authors to the conclusion that the analyzed original texts of fairy tales contrast with a reliable representation of the ethnic group. The traditional male portrait is shown from the position of describing the psycholinguistic features of personal characteristics, through the relationship of the main characters, through their external and internal speech. This approach makes it possible to identify a set of ethnic, social, historical and geographical factors inextricably linked with language, on the one hand, and on the other – caused by psychological manifestations.
