When a string instrument is plucked by hand, the player has the control over the plucking angle and the plucking position to influence the timbre. Different plucking angles will excite the vibrational modes of the strings differently. We designed a measurement rig to vary the vertical plucking angle in a controlled manner. This article explores the folklore components of Finnish rock poetry in Finnish and Swedish. It highlights how Finnish rock culture has revived an ancient tradition where poetry and music were intertwined. While musicians of Amorphis reference “Kalevala” mythology in the songs like “Tuonela”, “Sampo” and “Kantele”, they do not explicitly mention the names of “Kalevala” heroes in their adaptations of runes. Der Artikel diskutiert die widersprüchlichen Standpunkte zur Einführung der madrigalischen Kantate in die Kirchenmusik. Dabei dient besonders Wolfram Steudes These, nicht wie bisher Erdmann Neumeister, sondern Constantin Christian Dedekind als Erfinder dieser Form anzunehmen, als Anstoß einiger grundsätzlicher Überlegungen. Diese widmen sich dem Rezitativvers und seiner Entwicklung, Neumeisters Urteil über Dedekind, Bestimmung und Form der Kantate im theatralischen Stil und dem Verhältnis Bachs zu Neumeisters madrigalischer Kantate.

Transcendentalna idealnost predmeta naše spoznaje bitna je sastavnica Kantove epistemologije — barem njezine uobičajene interpretacije. U članku se tvrdi da (upravo zbog teze o transcendentalnoj idealnosti) uobičajena interpretacija Kantove epistemologije (UIKE) plauzibilno pati od problema nekoherencije i nije jasno opravdana. Na tvrdnju da antinomije daju opravdanje za UIKE u članku se odgovara da bi onda barem jedna antinomija morala biti racionalno–kompulzivna. Međutim nijedna nije. Stoga se zaključuje kako UIKE nije opravdana antinomijama i — ako su antinomije jedino opravdanje za UIKE —

Die Kantate BWV 157 ist nur in Kopien von nach 1750 auf uns gekommen, die eine Abweichung vom Original markieren, dessen Orchestrierung anscheinend verändert und erweitert wird. Die Kantate BWV 21 gehört zu den früh diskutierten Werken Bachs. Die bekannte Fassung stammt aus dem Jahr 1714. Theologische und historische Untersuchungen am Text und an den autographen Quellen lassen jedoch die Annahme zu, daß der bekannten Fassung mindestens eine Fassung vorausging. Die Leichenpredigt Johann Georg Layritz über Psalm 94, 19 - dem Text des zweiten Satzes der Kantate - für die Witwe des Rudolfstädter Kanzlers Ahasverus Fritsch gibt Gründe für die These, daß die gesuchte Vorform aus den Sätzen zwei bis sechs und neun der jetzigen Fassung bestand. Die Entstehungs- und Aufführungsgeschichte von BWV 21 ist kompliziert und weitgehend unbekannt. Weder der Anlaß der Komposition noch der Textdichter sind bekannt. Die Kompositionspartitur ist ebenfalls nicht erhalten. Es läßt sich jedoch anhand der Originalstimmen zeigen, daß die Kantate im wesentlichen eine Dialogkantate für Sopran, Baß, Chor und Orchester darstellt: Der Tenor gehörte vermutlich nicht zur Originalbesetzung. Die Kantate wurde nicht für einen bestimmten Zeitpunkt komponiert, sondern konnte während des gesamten Kirchenjahres aufgeführt werden. Sie war sogar für Aufführungen auße

Der vorliegende Beitrag vermittelt einen Überblick über die strafrechtliche Verwahrung in der Schweiz. Dazu werden zunächst die Anordnungskriterien vorgestellt. Diese bestehen aus einer besonderen Anlassstraftat sowie einer qualifizierten Gefährlichkeit, die sich aus der Persönlichkeit des Täters oder einer schweren psychischen Störung ergeben kann. Für den Prinzen Friedrich von Gotha gestaltete Goethe den Rinaldo-Stoff aus Torquato Tassos <Gerusalemme Liberata> zu einer 1811 in Weimar aufgeführten Szene. Die bislang nicht bekannte originale Vertonung stellt eine opernhafte und orchestral besetzte Kantate für Solo und Männerchor dar, die den italienischen Geschmack deutscher Höfe unterstreicht.
