Resumen

Many companies use intranets where only authorized personnel can share, create, and access news, events, and knowledge in a company. An intranet is a web application with dynamic content. It consists of various functions and features that facilitate the information management and knowledge flow within the company. The main goal of this project is to create and design an intranet demo that is adaptable and extendable by companies and organizations. The intranet contains various primary functions that users can interact with. The designed intranet is based on the EPiServer Content Management System framework and is programmed in back-end and front-end with the Visual Studio IDE tool. The back- end part is mainly programmed in C# language to create functions and logic such as the intranet structure and then linked to the front-end part where the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript library React is used to encode the front-end and get a user interface. The finalized intranet contains various primary functions where authorized employees have individual profiles with their status and contact information. Users can share corporate events and access corporate news. Många företag använder intranät där endast auktoriserad personal har tillgång till att dela, skapa och komma åt nyheter, händelser och kunskap inom företaget. Intranät är en webbapplikation med dynamiskt innehåll. Den består av olika funktioner som underlättar informationshantering och kunskapsflöde inom företaget. Målet med detta projekt är att skapa och designa en intranätdemo som är anpassningsbar och extensibel för företag och organisationer. Intranätet innehåller olika primära funktioner som användarna kan interagera med. Intranätet är baserat på EPiServer Content Management System ramverket och är programmerat i back-end och front-end med Visual Studio IDE-verktyget. Back-end delen kommer huvudsakligen att programmeras i C# språk för att skapa funktioner och logik som strukturen av en färdig designat intranät. Sedan länkas färdig programmerade back-end delen till front- end delen där HTML, CSS och JavaScript-biblioteket React används för att koda front-end för att få ett användargränssnitt. Den utvecklade och slutförda intranätet innehåller olika primära funktioner där auktoriserade anställda har enskilda profiler med sin anställnings status och kontaktinformation. Användare kan dela företagsevenemang och få tillgång till företagsnyheter.

Im Rahmen der Diplomarbeit wurde ein modernes System zur Erledigung typischer Geschäftsvorfälle des URZ entwickelt. Die Arbeit betrachtet den Einsatz von XML als Grundlage der Implementation und unterschiedliche XML-Applikationen auf ihre Verwendbarkeit zur Repräsentation von URZ-Dokumenten. Laufende Geschäftsvorfälle wurden anhand ausgewählter Dokumententypen analysiert und deren Strukturen und Inhaltstypen in XML definiert. Die Dokumentenerstellung wird durch eine Web-basierte Nutzerschnittstelle gewährleistet.

Information retrieval has been a prevasive part of human society since its existence.With the advent of internet and World wide Web it became an extensive area of researchand major foucs, which lead to development of various search engines to locate the de-sired information, mostly for globally connected computer networks viz. internet.Butthere is another major part of computer network viz. intranet, which has not seen muchof advancement in information retrieval approaches, in spite of being a major source ofinformation within a large number of organizations.Most common technique for intranet based search engines is still mere database-centric. Thus practically intranets are unable to avail the beneﬁts of sophisticated tech-niques that have been developed for internet based search engines without exposing thedata to commercial search engines.In this Master level thesis we propose a ”state of the art architecture” for an advancedsearch engine for intranet which is capable of dealing with continuously growing sizeof intranets knowledge base. This search engine employs lexical processing of doc-umetns,where documents are indexed and searched based on standalone terms or key-words, along with the semantic processing of the documents where the context of thewords and the relationship among them is given more importance.Combining lexical and semantic processing of the documents give an effective ap-proach to handle navigational queries along with research queries, opposite to the modernsearch engines which either uses lexical processing or semantic processing (or one as themajor) of the documents. We give equal importance to both the approaches in our design,considering best of the both world.This work also takes into account various widely acclaimed concepts like inferencerules, ontologies and active feedback from the user community to continuously enhanceand improve the quality of search results along with the possibility to infer and deducenew knowledge from the existing one, while preparing for the advent of semantic web.

Information management has begun to gain importance very fast during the time of internet business, auctions, stock exchanges, in the time of increasing number of international companies. Nowadays very often mentioned topics are how to obtain and deliver right information at the right place in the right moment, how to communicate with business partners, collaborators, superiors. Intranet belongs among devices for information management and I deal with just this theme in my diploma work. The defining of Intranet belongs to main aims of this text i.e. terminology, elements, principals of function, current trends and also giving instructions for building or reconstruction of company intranet. The detailed study of current trends during building company information system, case studies and instructions according to "Best practices" was the way how to achieve defined goals. I gathered information mainly from internet information sources which deal with this topic, mainly from foreign servers. I can see the contribution of my diploma work that it tries to give instructions for managing the project building company intranet, its timing and it draws attention to critical factors of success. The suggestion of new appearance of company intranet is the culmination of my diploma work. The work is clearly structural -- I present the explanation about problems of company information system in the theoretical part, in the practical part I deal with finding out of main lacks and formulation demands of new appearance of company intranet and at the same time I suggest possible new appearance. I evaluate achieving defined objectives and sum up main ideas in the conclusion.

In this work, the quality of information in the Internet and intranet will be dealt with. What characterises information of quality cannot be decided ones and for all, as it always will be in relation to the user's needs. The factors, however, that can be thought of when evaluating information can be outlined. These factors will be discussed and compared to the methods that are used by web editors to secure quality of the information in the intranet.The methods used to investigate the paper's thesis, are the study of literature and three interviews are conducted. The study of literature is meant to reveal the aspects that can be considered when evaluating information published via the Internet and intranet. The interviews are conducted to see how web editors secure that the information in the intranet is of high quality.The study has revealed that the following aspects can be considered when evaluating information in the Internet and intranet. These aspects are the purpose of the information; the information's authority; the accuracy, maintenance, and currency of the information and last, the accessibility and presentation of the information.

In SharePoint 2013, Microsoft added a social networking function in the personal sites (My Site) of a user. In this version, a personal news feed has been added which shows events regarding subjects the user follows, such as document changes, user updates, tagged posts, and site activities. The purpose of the thesis is to investigate whether or not it is possible to extend the news feed function by adding an independent component as part of My Site, to allow users to follow corporate news by choosing their categories of interests. A prototype of the component was implemented and it met most of the objectives stated in the thesis. It is added to the default page of the user’s My Site as a web part and it is able to retrieve and display news that matches the user’s subscription. Although the web part still needs improvements in both functionality and design, it still confirms that it is possible to extend the current My Site news feed with such a component. Since the students working on this thesis had no prior knowledge of SharePoint or .NET development, the project brought new challenges, as the students needed to learn how to work in a SharePoint environment and to learn to use Microsoft Visual Studio for .NET development. Microsoft har i SharePoint 2013 förbättrat användarnas personliga sidor (My Site) genom att sammankoppla dem i ett socialt nätverk. I förbättringen har ett personligt nyhetsflöde som visar händelser som användaren följer tillagts. Denna rapport avser att undersöka möjligheten att utöka det personliga nyhetsflödet med att lägga till en oberoende komponent i My Site. Komponenten ska tillåta användarna att prenumerera på företagsnyheter genom att välja bland olika nyhetskategorier. En prototyp av komponenten implementerades och resultatet uppfyllde de flesta kraven som ställdes i början av arbetet. Komponenten har lagts till i användarens My Site som en webb del och hämtar automatiskt de senaste företagsnyheterna som matchar användarens prenumeration. Den utvecklade prototypen kan förbättras både i funktion och design, men har uppfyllt behovet för denna rapport som avser att undersöka möjligheten att utöka det personliga nyhetsflödet i My Site med en sådan komponent. Eftersom projektmedlemmarna saknade förkunskaper i SharePoint och .NET utveckling innebar projektet nya utmaningar. The Intranet Pencil and Paper Checklist (Murgolo-Poore et al., 2002) is a new measure developed to gauge the perceptions of organization members as to the effectiveness of the firms Intranet, from an Internal Marketing and Human Resource perspective. Three dimensions of the construct "Intranet Effectiveness " have been distilled from initial scale development research and testing, they are Operations, Facilitation and Culture.The instrument is now applied to a financial services organization with approximately 3000 staff to test its robustness across all layers of a hierarchy. It performed well, particularly in plumbing the perceptions of management towards their Intranet.Several theoretical perspectives were investigated to understand how OC and Intranet effectiveness may be associated, including Transaction Cost Theory, Communication Theory and Social Identity Theory. With this theoretical underpinning the instrument was administered to discern if an effective Intranet, through its power to communicate and involve multiple stakeholders had any correlation with Organizational Commitment.Intranet effectiveness was found to have a significant correlation, which varied in its effect across user groups. It was suggested as a focus for future research that peripheral groups might have benefited from the Intranet in a way that increased OC amongst those cohorts disproportionately. Should such a theory be borne out by empirical investigation, it has potential application for strategic decision making in Intranet design and management.

For a software developing company, it is important to have a system that keeps track of different projects with related documentation and data. Without a proper system, it can be hard to find needed information and time consuming, especially if there is much data in the system. RealTest AB is an IT consultant company located in Västerås that deals with this problem. All of their projects and their information are stored in a folder structure on a server that the employees have access to. This “system” does not have a smart way of finding data and there is no kind of version control of the existing information and this often leads to duplicated data. The purpose of this project was to provide a smarter and more efficient way of handling projects and documents for RealTest. The project resulted in an intranet solution based on Microsoft SharePoint that takes care of the mentioned problems. This paper describes the design and implementation of certain features of the intranet, such as document management, generation of unique project/document numbers and dynamic webpages. The paper also reviews strengths and weaknesses of existing intranet solutions and application platforms. The conclusions of the conducted research together with meetings with our advisor at RealTest and feedback from demonstrations for the employees led to the first version of the intranet. Since the project only lasted for 10 weeks, time limited us from developing all of the planned features and therefore we were not able to deliver a finished product. However, we managed develop a stable foundation for the intranet which will be finalized by the employees of the company.

This thesis presents results from an investigation of a virtual leadership strategy, which is utilised in the city of Stockholm. The Intranet is used as a strategic tool to implement a steering document in a similar way among all employees in the organisation. In this frame, features like sensemakings of the distributed information, influences of experienced lifeworlds, circumstances at local workplaces, cultural aspects and technological issues are explored. The investigation is fully qualitative. Interviews have been processed, recorded and transcribed. A survey with open and unstructured questions has broadened empirical results. The aim is to explore opinions towards and driving forces behind taking part of an Intranet based leader strategy and to investigate what circumstances at local workplaces affect the potential success of such a leader strategy. A new interpretation of Geert Hofstede’s work is suggested in future works. This is framed in a cultural model.

Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited The objective of this thesis is to describe in detail the reasoning and development of an Intranet based decision support system. This thesis is intended to show how World Wide Web technologies can be used to develop a prototype Intranet that can provide access to information for faculty, students and staff members via a World Wide Web browser. It provides more open communication in the Department of Systems Management, quicker and more consistent information flows (service) to the faculty and staff, and reduced time spent on the handling of repetitive and often simple information exchanges. The decision support function is supported by a database which is an information clearinghouse, providing all personnel with 24- hour access. Personnel are empowered by information availability and are likely to be more proactive. A prototype has been developed to demonstrate the concept and to demonstrate the validity of rapid prototyping as a means of validating the effectiveness of the modified Intranet development methodology. Ce travail de doctorat a été mené dans le cadre du concept Human Intranet (HI), qui propose une infrastructure déployée sur le corps humain, permettant à différents types de nœuds de communiquer. La réalisation d'une telle plate-forme est complexe, notamment en termes de transmission du signal (ondes atténuées par le corps humain), de mouvements corporels, de débit maximum suffisant, d'architecture réseau fiable et de mécanisme de communication flexible, maximisant l'efficacité globale. Pour atteindre ces objectifs, une combinaison d'un mode de communication sans fil, compatible avec le corps humain et une stratégie de mise en réseau dédiée sont nécessaires. Ce manuscrit de thèse, propose d’utiliser une technique de communication utilisant le corps humain comme moyen de propagation. Le choix a mené à une caractérisation détaillée du canal, confirmée par les résultats expérimentaux. Il s’en est suivi une analyse de l'architecture du réseau, menant à une topologie hybride, en étoiles maillées. Finalement une synchronisation, basée sur les pulsations cardiaques et un protocole MAC, ont été proposés, bénéficiant du déploiement du réseau sur le corps.Plusieurs options de communication ont été étudiées et leur efficacité, dans le cadre de Human Intranet, analysée. Nous avons étudié certaines communications RF, ainsi que celles couplées au corps humain (BCC). Parmi les mécanismes de propagation BCC possibles, le couplage capacitif (C-BCC) était l'option la plus prometteuse, compte tenu des exigences de Human Intranet. Utiliser le corps humain comme moyen de communication offre de nombreuses caractéristiques intéressantes : sécurité, sûreté et efficacité énergétique. Cependant, le mécanisme de propagation et l'atténuation attendue n'étaient pas établis. Une caractérisation du canal a été menée, avec une étude théorique, des simulations électromagnétiques et des mesures sur le corps. Finalement, un prototype, alimenté sur batterie, a été mis en œuvre, confirmant les résultats de la caractérisation. Enfin, une fréquence de fonctionnement de 450 MHz a été choisie, pour son mécanisme dominant de propagation des ondes de surface, offrant un compromis entre l'atténuation, la sensibilité de l'environnement et la largeur de bande.Une architecture de réseau hybride en étoiles maillées, sur deux niveaux, a été proposée. Les types de nœuds composant le réseau, feuilles (couche inférieure) ou hubs (nœuds principaux), sont basés sur leurs capacités de calcul, leur statut dans le réseau, l'accès à l'énergie et la quantité de données générées. Alors que les hubs sont connectés de façon maillée (ou partiellement maillée), assurant robustesse et fiabilité, les feuilles sont liées à un hub unique, en tant que topologie locale en étoiles, ce qui réduit la complexité et améliore leur consommation d'énergie. Un schéma de communication « à perforation », permettant aux nœuds à faible trafic d'interrompre les échanges principaux de données en cours au sein du réseau proposé, a été envisagé.Un protocole MAC, associant un schéma de synchronisation basé sur le rythme cardiaque, avec le mécanisme de perforation, a été imaginé et permet la synchronisation des nœuds, en détectant le signal biologique, pour établir une structure à base de superframe. Son principe a été détaillé et son architecture matérielle, au niveau du système, a été présentée. Des modèles mathématiques, basés sur des équations ont été établis, y compris les éléments constitutifs des non-idéalités. Des simulations, au niveau du système, ont été effectuées et les résultats ont été comparés à une architecture radio-cyclique commune, selon trois paramètres majeurs : la latence, la disponibilité des canaux et la consommation d'énergie du système. Une amélioration de la consommation d'énergie jusqu'à 47% et un contrôle strict de la latence, ont été démontrés, sans frais sur la disponibilité des canaux This Ph.D. research work has bee conducted within the framework of the Human Intranet (HI) concept, which creates a human-dedicated infrastructure allowing a wide span of IoT nodes and wearable peripherals to communicate. The realization of such a platform is challenging in terms of signal transmission due to body shadowing and body dynamics, achievable communication throughput for demanding applications, network architecture for reliability, and a flexible communication scheme maximizing the global efficiency. To fulfill these objectives, a combination of a human-compatible wireless communication modality with an associated networking strategy is required. This thesis manuscript proposes a Body-Coupled Communication scheme. The choice is motivated by a detailed channel characterization confirmed by experimental results. It is followed by a network architecture analysis leading to a custom mesh-of-star hybrid topology. Ultimately, a heartbeat-based synchronization and MAC protocol have been proposed, benefiting from the on-body network deployment.Multiple communication options have been studied and their efficiency toward the HI project analyzed. We covered some RF possibilities as well as Body Couple Communication (BCC). Following the State-of-the-Art analysis, among all possible BCC propagation mechanisms, Capacitive coupling (C-BCC) was the most promising option given the HI requirements, the compatibility with existing solutions, and the room for improvement. Using the human body as a communication medium offers numerous interesting characteristics: security, safety, and energy efficiency. However, the propagation mechanism and the expected attenuation were unclear. A channel characterization has been conducted from theory through FEM simulations to on-body and on-phantom measurements. Ultimately a battery-powered prototype (with off-the-shelve components) has been implemented, confirming the initial characterization results. Finally, a frequency of operation of 450 MHz, was chosen for its dominant surface-wave propagation mechanism, offering a trade-off between attenuation, environment sensitivity, and bandwidth. Additionally, lower attenuation per unit of distance than other existing RF solutions has been demonstrated to the cost of higher insertion losses.A two-layer mesh-of-stars hybrid network architecture has been proposed. The types of nodes composing the network, leaves (lower layer) or hubs (main nodes), are based on their computing capabilities, status in the network, access to energy, and the amount of data generated. While the hubs are connected in a mesh (or partial mesh) ensuring robustness and reliability, the leaves are linked to a unique hub as a local star topology, lowering the complexity and improving their power consumption. A puncturing communication scheme, allowing low traffic nodes to interrupt the main on-going data exchange within the proposed network has been envisioned. This approach combines the non-applicable existing communication standards' concepts with the characterized single-channel and Body Coupled Communication mechanism.A MAC layer, pairing a heartbeat-based synchronization scheme with the puncturing mechanism has been imagined. It enables the node synchronization by sensing the bio-signal of interest to define a superframe-based structure. Its principle has been detailed and its system-level hardware architecture introduced. Equation-based mathematical models have been established, including the building blocks non-idealities. System-level simulations have been performed, and the results compared with a common duty-cycled radio architecture according to three major metrics: latency, channel availability, and system power consumption. A função do data warehouse é tornar as informações corporativas acessíveis para o seu entendimento, gerenciamento e uso. Como o data warehouse está separado dos bancos de dados operacionais, as consultas dos usuários não impactam nestes sistemas, que ficam reguardados de alterações indevidas ou perdas de dados. Um dos desafios da implantação de um data warehouse é justamente a integração destes dados, eliminando as redundâncias e identificando informações iguais que possam estar representadas sob formatos diferentes em sistemas distintos. No. of bitstreams: 0 Previous issue date: 2006-05-24 The need for people with adequate knowledge base and the ability to use it in an effective way, became evident in face of the turbulence experienced in the current days, which not only demands well informed people but also people with the ability to change simple information into useful knowledge. The attentions go back to the processes that make possible to create and to disseminate knowledge. Among the technological resources capable to contribute for these processes, stand out Internet and intranet, for the capacity to reach a great number of people quickly. However, the form of use of these resources differs due to a culture that privileges the control (STENMARK, 2004a). In this context and with the objective of investigating the participation of the intranet in the processes of creation of knowledge, an exploratory research was conducted starting from a case study in a great Brazilian financial institution. The data, collected through interviews, questionnaires and electronic files, were analyzed based on the model 4I (CROSSAN, LANE and WHITE, 1999) and on the studies of Damsgaard and Scheepers (2001, 2001a), Marwick (2001) and Scott (1998). The results demonstrate the participation of intranet in the individual, grupal and organizational learning, as well as the need of contents more directed to the practice. A necessidade de pessoas com conhecimentos adequados e a capacidade de saber aproveitálos ganharam destaque nos últimos anos em virtude da turbulência dos tempos atuais, que exige pessoas bem informadas e capazes de transformar informações em conhecimentos úteis. As atenções se voltam para os processos que possibilitam criar e disseminar conhecimentos. Dentre os recursos tecnológicos capazes de contribuir para estes processos, destacam-se a Internet e a intranet, pela capacidade de alcançar um grande número de pessoas rapidamente. No entanto, a forma de uso destes recursos difere bastante em virtude de uma cultura que privilegia o controle (STENMARK, 2004a). Neste contexto e com o objetivo de investigar a participação da intranet nos processos de criação de conhecimentos, realizou-se uma pesquisa de caráter exploratório a partir de um estudo de caso em uma grande instituição financeira brasileira. Os dados, coletados por meio de entrevistas, questionários e consulta a arquivos eletrônicos, foram analisados à luz do modelo 4I (CROSSAN, LANE e WHITE, 1999) e dos estudos de Damsgaard e Scheepers (2001, 2001a), Marwick (2001) e Scott (1998). Os resultados demonstram a participação da intranet no aprendizado individual, grupal e organizacional, bem como a necessidade de conteúdos mais voltados para a prática.

The necessity of major users, in intranets, for information search tools that contain reliable catalogs, easy to look their terms up, is the main question responsible for this study. Details about the modern Web information indexing tecnology are described to make an analogy study with the indexing model proposed.Initiating this work, the benefits and limitations of semantic indexing are showed to justify why this kind of indexing was choiced to insert the links in catalog created.A special chapter is dedicated to study the intelligent agent tecnology, where the state of the art is analyzed. A software agent prototype was developed to prove the efficiency of this tecnology in information search.All the stages to construct the semantic index by software agent, as well as the way to look sites up in the index, are showed too. The objective is to let all researchers in this area to know the implementation of the studied model. Ending this work, there is a description of how the prototype was tested, of what results were achieved and, finally, what conclusions were obtained. Este trabalho apresenta um estudo sobre busca de informação em sites de intranet, utilizando conceitos de indexação semântica e da tecnologia de agentes inteligentes. A verificação da necessidade da maioria dos usuários, em redes intranet, por ferramentas de busca de informação que contenham catálogos confiáveis e fáceis de consultar é encarada como a questão principal responsável pela realização desse estudo. Detalhes sobre a atual tecnologia de indexação de informação na Web são apresentados para que, a partir dos mesmos, se possa fazer uma analogia com o modelo de indexação proposto. Iniciando o trabalho, os benefícios e as limitações da indexação semântica são esclarecidos para justificar o porque da sua escolha e da sua aplicabilidade nesse caso. Um capítulo especial é dedicado ao estudo da tecnologia de agentes inteligentes, no qual é realizado um levantamento completo sobre o estado da arte em que se encontra seu atual desenvolvimento. Baseando-se nesse levantamento, está demonstrada a criação de um protótipo de programa agente, utilizado para gerar subsídios que comprovem a eficiência dessa tecnologia na busca de informação. Todas as etapas para a construção de um índice semântico pelo programa agente, bem como a forma de se consultar o índice, também estão descritas. O objetivo é permitir que outros pesquisadores conheçam a forma de implementação do modelo estudado. Fechando o trabalho, existe uma descrição de como o protótipo foi testado, de quais foram os resultados alcançados e, finalmente, de quais foram as conclusões obtidas.

Today, the advent of information technologies (IT) is changing the way the world communicates. The growth of internet related technologies provides building organizations with low-cost tools that can optimize project communications. In particular, the recent development of project specific "intranets", can enhance project communication by giving all members of the project team access to a common, centralized database of construction information. This study looked at the effect of project specific intranet systems on the communications of the project team. More specifically, the study analyzed several communication variables including timeliness, completeness, understanding, barriers, speed and procedures. Additionally, graphic models were developed to help describe the intranet's role in the project communication network. The methodology triangulated three data collection methods to measure variables on three case studies. This triangulation included the comparison of information benchmarks, an examination of communication effectiveness, and the use of social network analysis. The study found that when used properly, project specific intranet systems act as a key actor in a project communication network. Intranets also have a positive effect on the timeliness and understanding of project information, and their use can improve the speed with which information is transferred between project players. On the negative side, intranet use seems to contribute to the information overload of project participants. But the success of the project intranet is largely a function of project participation. For positive results several key players need to use the system on a regular basis. These key players include the architect, the project manager, the site superintendent and key office engineers. When one of these primary players refuses to participate, then the system quickly loses its effectiveness.

The research area of this master work is problems of information processing in County State Tax Inspectorate and their resolution approaches. The aim of this work is to find the best approach, to create appropriate software to resolve theses problems and to fulfill user’s needs. The main problems of information processing were determined during County State Tax Inspectorate business analysis: • usable legacy information systems imperfect integration and functionality; • some information not computerized processing. After analyzing many approaches three tiers client-server software architecture, internet technologies and relational databases integration was chosen for new information system implementation. Internet browser is used for user interface on client side. All business logic was placed in middle tier. Server side scripts are used for interaction with system new database and legacy database which is working in Oracle DBMS environment. Microsoft ASP technology is used for server-side scripting. Legacy database reverse engineering was accomplished for this database documentation. County State Tax Inspectorate intranet portal users can do data operative registration and processing, quick report formation. The modern CASE tool Rational Rose 2002 Enterprise Edition was used from business analysis to new information system project creation that will help for system maintenance and future development.

Neue Methoden und Werkzeuge ermöglichen es auch, das Dienstleistungsspektrum in unserer Branche dynamisch an den Bedarf unserer Nutzer anzupassen. Damit die Schnelligkeit der Veränderungen nicht zu einem (Zusammen-)Bruch der historisch und kultursoziologisch bedeutsamen Institution „Bibliothek“ führt, müssen möglichst viele Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter in die Lage versetzt werden, den Wandel nachzuvollziehen und aktiv mitzugestalten. Transparenz und Interaktion gewinnen an Bedeutung, weil sich das nötige Wissen für Entscheidungsfindungen auf immer mehr Köpfe verteilt. Die Spezialisierung steigt und gleichzeitig erfordert das Dienstleisten für die Wissensgesellschaft eine hohe Vernetzung der verschiedenen Aufgabenbereiche. Rundschreiben per EMail, mündliche Kommunikation, Aktenordner und selbst Wiki-Software kommen hier schnell an ihre Grenzen. An der Einführung moderner Werkzeuge zum Wissensmanagement in Bibliotheken führt deshalb kein Weg vorbei. Die SLUB Dresden hat im Oktober 2012 eine Intranet-Plattform auf Basis der Software Confluence eingeführt. In diesem Artikel werden die Erfahrungen bei der Lösungssuche und Evaluation und schließlich bei der Einführung eines mit Social-Network-Funktionen ausgestatteten Intranets beschrieben. Resumen

According to a 2007 global survey of 178 organisational intranets, 3 out of 5 organisations are not satisﬁed with their intranet search services. However, as intranet data collections become large, effective full-text intranet search services are needed more than ever before. To provide an effective full-text search service based on current information retrieval algorithms, organisations have to deal with the need for greater computational power. Hardware architectures that can scale to large data collections and can be obtained and maintained at a reasonable cost are needed. Web search engines address scalability and cost-effectiveness by using large-scale centralised cluster architectures. The scalability of cluster architectures is evident in the ability of Web search engines to respond to millions of queries within a few seconds while searching very large data collections. Though more cost-effective than high-end supercomputers, cluster architectures still have relatively high acquisition and maintenance costs. Where information retrieval is not the core business of an organisation, a cluster-based approach may not be economically viable. A hybrid scavenger grid is proposed as an alternative architecture — it consists of a combination of dedicated and dynamic resources in the form of idle desktop workstations. From the dedicated resources, the architecture gets predictability and reliability whereas from the dynamic resources it gets scalability. An experimental search engine was deployed on a hybrid scavenger grid and evaluated. Test results showed that the resources of the grid can be organised to deliver the best performance by using the optimal number of machines and scheduling the optimal combination of tasks that the machines perform. A system efﬁciency and cost-effectiveness comparison of a grid and a multi-core machine showed that for workloads of modest to large sizes, the grid architecture delivers better throughput per unit cost than the multi-core, at a system efﬁciency that is comparable to that of the multi-core. The study has shown that a hybrid scavenger grid is a feasible search engine architecture that is cost-effective and scales to medium- to large-scale data collections.

Os avatars, ou ferramentas de análise de desempenho de sistemas distribuídos baseadas em tecnologias de realidade virtual, surgem como novas ferramentas de monitoramento e visualização gráfica do comportamento dos sistemas paralelos e distribuídos. Neles o formato de arquivo utilizado é o SDDF (Self-Defining Data Format) que vem se tornando padrão de armazenamento entre as ferramentas baseadas nesta tecnologia. A finalidade desde trabalho é investigar e desenvolver um sistema de captura e rastreamento das operações no formato ODBC (Open Database Connectivity), que ocorrem no ambiente intranet e disponibilizar tais dados no formato especifico, o SDDF possibilitando a visualização em avatars. The avatars or analyzer of performance toolkits appear as new tools to monitoring and graphics visualization for parallel and distributed systems. They are based on virtual reality technologies. Where, their file formats are SDDF (Self-Defining Data Format), which are becoming a storage standard among these technology-based tools. In this work have been investigated and developed a system that provides the capture and the rastering of aze ODBC (Open Database Connectivity), and these operations occur on intranet environment. The peculiarities of its configuration seem to promote new alternatives of properties that can represent transformations and advances for the communication processes, constituted of an excellent subject for research. The objective of this study is to discuss and to understand the constitution of the Intranet conceived, in the scope of the mediatized organizational communication, as a place of emergent communication processes, and assumed as a component of the autopoietics net of the complex organization. It is, therefore, an investigation about the delicate relations between Culture, Knowledge and Communication, in the company, having the employee subject as joint point. The corpus to make it scientific, in the scope of this thesis, are the speech of the subjects (employees expressing themselves by means of production of meaning via oral speech, in a situation of interview), that frequently use the Intranet and also the speech of the employee subjects that are responsible for the production and update of contents and devices of the Intranet, of two searched plants, a Brazilian and a French one. The theoretical recital is based on Morin, assuming, as Method, the Paradigm of the Complexity. The socialcultural practices and the communicational ones of the Intranet are thought from the notion of Autopoiesis of Maturana. Hence a qualitative research is carried through, according to Bauer and Gaskel, endorsed in case study, according to Yin. The content analysis, consisted of two interpretative movements, is inspired in the qualitative textual analysis, proposed by Moraes. The first Interpretative Movement searches to understand how the dimensions of the Autopoiesis (Autonomy, Circularity and Selfreference) are constituted and are expressed in each one of the investigated companies. The Second Interpretative Movement investigates how the dimensions of Complexity (Communication, Culture and Knowledge) are constituted and are expressed in the respective companies. The results point that among other aspects, the Intranet, as an element that favors the incessant integration of the subjects with the context in which they live their daily routine in the company. From two dynamic processes in constant change, the one of the employees and the one of the company, a congruence relation appears mediated by the Intranet that perpetuates and is perpetuated by the organizational culture. The capillarization of the Intranet (understood as a space of generation and circulation of communication, culture and knowledge) by the body of the company, and the appropriation use that the employees make of it, generates cocreation relations or the continuous autopoietics reconstruction of the enterprise ambience. Finally, the research points that it there is not only a way of use and appropriation of the Intranet. As peculiaridades de sua configuração parecem suscitar novas alternativas de propriedades, que podem representar transformações e avanços para os processos de comunicação, constituindose em um tema relevante para pesquisa. Este estudo tem como objetivo discutir e compreender a constituição da Intranet concebida, no âmbito da comunicação organizacional midiatizada, como lugar de processos comunicacionais emergentes, e assumida enquanto componente da rede autopoiética da organização complexa. Trata-se, portanto, de uma investigação em torno das delicadas relações entre Cultura, Conhecimento e Comunicação, na empresa, tendo o Sujeito como ponto de articulação. O corpus para o fazer científico, no âmbito desta tese, são as falas de sujeitos (funcionários expressando-se por meio da produção de sentido via discurso oral, em situação de entrevista), que utilizam assiduamente a Intranet e também as falas de sujeitos que são responsáveis pela produção e atualização de conteúdos e dispositivos da Intranet, das duas indústrias pesquisadas, uma brasileira e outra francesa.A fundamentação teórica é baseada em Morin, assumindo, como Método, o Paradigma da Complexidade. As práticas sócio-culturais e comunicacionais da Intranet são pensadas a partir da noção de Autopoiese, de Maturana. Para tanto, é realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa, conforme Bauer e Gaskel, respaldada no estudo de caso, segundo Yin. A análise de conteúdo, composta por dois movimentos interpretativos, é inspirada na análise textual qualitativa, proposta por Moraes. O Primeiro Movimento Interpretativo busca compreender como as dimensões da Autopoiese (Autonomia, Circularidade e Autoreferência) se constituem e são expressas em cada uma das empresas pesquisadas. O Segundo Movimento Interpretativo investiga como as dimensões da Complexidade (Comunicação, Cultura e Conhecimento) se constituem e são expressas nas respectivas empresas. Os resultados apontam, dentre outros aspectos, a Intranet como um elemento que favorece a incessante acoplagem dos sujeitos-funcionários ao contexto no qual vivem seu cotidiano na empresa. A partir de duas dinâmicas em constante mudança, a dos funcionários e a da empresa, surge uma relação de congruência, mediada pela Intranet, que perpetua e é perpetuada pela cultura organizacional. A “capilarização” da Intranet (entendida como espaço de geração e circulação de comunicação, cultura e conhecimento) pelo “corpo” da empresa, e a apropriação uso que os funcionários fazem dela, geram relações de co-criação ou “a contínua reconstrução autopoiética” do ambiente empresarial. Finalmente, a pesquisa aponta que não há um único modo de uso e apropriação da Intranet. Ao contrário, isso vai depender do que cada empresa quer que ela seja, no seu contexto, isto é, desde simplesmente uma maneira de melhorar a comunicação interna, até um espaço mais amplo de troca de informações, gestão dos processos de trabalho e gestão da criação do conhecimento da/na empresa.

Cette recherche s'intéresse aux pratiques d'écritures des danseurs contemporains, à travers l'étude d'un corpus constitué de quatre ouvrages récemment publiés par Dominique Dupuy (2011), Enora Rivière (2013), Myriam Lefkowitz (2015), et Noé Soulier (2016). Leur parution manifeste autant qu'il participe d'un contexte perceptif et esthétique, mais aussi institutionnel et éditorial qui donne place à la voix des artistes chorégraphiques. En effet, ces textes ont pour point commun d'être élaborés à partir de la parole des danseurs, qu'elle soit recueillie lors d'entretiens, puisée dans une conférence performée ou qu'elle soit le motif par lequel s'éprouve l'imaginaire d'une instantanéité chorégraphique. Ainsi, l'élaboration de ces ouvrages engage pour leurs auteurs une réflexion sur les valeurs acquises par la verbalisation comme par la scription dans les pratiques de danse. Parce que l'écriture est envisagée comme un processus transversal, non spécifiquement textuel, qui introduit des effets d'écart dans la relation que le danseur entretient à l'acte de danse, nous convoquons pour analyser ce corpus la pensée de Derrida ; ceci nous conduit à qualifier les phénomènes d'enchâssement et de "différance" manifestés par ce corpus comme relevant des « écrits de danseurs ». Ceci permet d'interroger la fonction de ces discours, considérés comme des prises de parole face à la doxa d'un mutisme inhérent à la figure scénique du danseur : d'une part, l'écriture témoigne des expériences propres au métier de danseur, et contribue à alimenter voire à renouveler les représentations afférentes à leur statut artistique et professionnel. D'autre part, la publication d'un objet livresque requalifie l'auctorialité du danseur au regard du chorégraphe comme des œuvres qu'il interprète : ceci participe à circonscrire un régime discursif spécifique, que nous désignons, à la suite de Foucault, comme une « fonction-danseur » active dans l'écriture. Finalement, notre analyse considère les interactions entre énonciation du geste et imaginaire langagier, lorsque morphologie lexicale et corporelle viennent à se confondre. À la suite de trois propositions théoriques (Godfroy, Louppe, Bernard) qui postulent la réversibilité des expériences kinésiques et sémiotiques, nous interrogeons l'activité de réception de ces ouvrages, lorsque les analyses cherchent à y déceler l'empreinte d'une « gestualité du dire ». Notre hypothèse considère que celle-ci relève d'un mécanisme fictionnaire, déployé tant dans le processus sensoriel par lequel les danseurs élaborent une parole sur leur danse que dans l'activité de lecture. Ceci souligne le fonctionnement empathique qui soutient notre fréquentation des textualités en danse ; au regard de la place occupée par les imaginaires littéraires et scripturaires dans l'élaboration des récits de gestes, tout comme dans l'émergence de dynamiques métaphoriques. Celles-ci soutiennent l'élaboration de logiques corporelles (Bolens) qui façonnent la corporéité du danseur qui s'énonce autant que les modalités narratives par lesquelles elle s'écrit. Cette étude prend place à la croisée de préoccupations portées par des analyses kinésiques comme linguistiques, selon une approche poïétique qui s'insère dans des interactions disciplinaires, artistiques et méthodologiques nombreuses entre études en danse et études littéraires This research focuses on the writing practices of contemporary dancers, through the study of a corpus made up of four works recently published by Dominique Dupuy (2011), Enora Rivière (2013), Myriam Lefkowitz (2015), and Noé Soulier (2016). Their publication manifests as much as it participates in a perceptual and aesthetic context, but also an institutional and editorial one which gives place to the voice of the artists. Indeed, these texts have in common to be elaborated from the words of the dancers, whether it is collected during interviews, drawn from a lecture performed or whether it is the reason by which the feeling is experienced. imaginary of a choreographic immediacy. Thus, the elaboration of these works engages for their authors a reflection on the values acquired by the verbalization as by the scription in the practices of dance. Because writing is respected as a transversal process, not judged textual, which introduced effects of gap in the relationship that the dancer maintains to the act of dance, we summon to analyze this corpus the thought of Derrida; this leads us to qualify the phenomena of embeddedness and differance affected by this corpus as relevant to “dancers' writings”. This makes it possible to question the function of these discourses, translated as speaking out against the doxa of a silence inherent in the scenic figure of the dancer: on the one hand, the writing bears witness to the experiences specific to the profession of dancer, and contributes to nourishing or even renewing the representations relating to their artistic and professional status. On the other hand, the publication of a bookish object requalifies the authorship of the dancer with regard to the choreographer as the works he interprets : this contributes to circumscribing a specific discursive regime, which we designate, following Foucault, as a “dancer-function” active in writing. Finally, our analysis considers the interactions between the enunciation of the gesture and the linguistic imagination, when the lexical and body morphology come to merge. Following three theoretical propositions (Godfroy, Louppe, Bernard) which postulate the reversibility of kinesic and semiotic experiences, we question the activity of reception of these works, when the analyzes seek to decelerate the imprint of a "gestuality to say”. Our hypothesis considers that this stems from a fictional mechanism, deployed both in the sensory process by which the dancers adopt a word about their dance and in the reading activity. This underlines the empathic functioning that supports our frequentation of textualities in dance; about the place occupied by literary and scriptural imaginaries in the elaboration of narratives of gestures, as well as in the emergence of metaphorical dynamics. These require the development of bodily logics (Bolens) that shape the corporeality of the dancer who is expressed as much as the narrative modalities by requiring it to be written. This study takes place at the crossroads of concerns carried by kinesic and linguistic analyses, according to a poietic approach which fits into numerous disciplinary, artistic and methodological interactions between dance studies and literary studies

Cette étude consiste en une analyse linguistique intégrée de l'œuvre de Milan Kundera, écrivain tchèque naturalisé français. Par analyse intégrée, nous entendons une étude linguistique menée à l'aide des méthodes qualitatives et quantitatives. Plus précisément, les méthodes utilisées appartiennent au domaine de la textométrie, discipline dont l'objectif est d'analyser les corpus textuels par le biais d'un traitement informatisé (Guiraud, 1960 ; Lebart, Salem, 1994 ; Pincemin, 2020). Plus généralement, ces travaux pourraient donc être inclus dans le domaine de la stylométrie, puisque cette analyse textométrique est fonctionnelle à la « caractérisation d'une écriture » (Magri, 2010). En effet, l'objectif principal de cette recherche est de détecter par contraste les éléments qui définissent la prose de Kundera. Pour ce faire, deux corpus ont été composés : un corpus d'étude et un corpus de référence (Rastier, 2011). Le premier correspond à la quasi-totalité des textes de l'Œuvre I, II de Kundera (Éd. Gallimard, Pléiade). Le second est représentatif du paysage littéraire français de la période d'activité de Kundera (1968-2013).Ces corpus ont été d'abord numérisés et ensuite examinés à l'aide du logiciel de textométrie Hyperbase (version web et standard), qui emploie à la fois les méthodes classiques d'exploration statistique et le deep learning ou apprentissage profond. Ce logiciel permet diverses analyses aux différents niveaux lexical, morphosyntaxique et sémantique. En particulier, les éléments suivants ont fait l'objet de l'étude : la structure du vocabulaire (la distribution des fréquences, des hapax, la richesse lexicale, la diversité du vocabulaire et l'accroissement lexical) ; les aspects morphologiques et syntaxiques qui peuvent être examinés grâce aux versions lemmatisées et étiquetées des corpus ; les motifs morpho-syntaxiques et multidimensionnels ; les thèmes (les spécificités lexicales, les isotopies et les thèmes récurrents). Ces éléments ont été examinés lors d'une analyse endogène du corpus d'étude et d'une série d'analyses exogènes avec le corpus de référence. En effet, les études comparatives avec le second corpus permettent de neutraliser les caractéristiques linguistiques conformes à la langue littéraire de l'époque dans le genre du roman, de l'essai et de la nouvelle, afin de faire ressortir les éléments de la prose de Kundera qui se distinguent de ce modèle linguistique représentatif de la langue littéraire contemporaine. En outre, les analyses endogènes de l'œuvre de Kundera, possibles grâce à la compilation de sous-corpus, peuvent rendre compte à la fois des constantes stylistiques qui ne varient pas selon le genre, la période ou la langue et des variantes linguistiques qui dépendent des variables diachroniques, génériques et linguistiques. En conclusion, cette étude emploie une méthodologie intégrée (linguistique, statistique, informatique) dans le but de faire ressortir les caractéristiques prototypiques de l'idiolecte de Kundera, à savoir les éléments les plus significatifs de son écriture qui la distinguent de celle d'un échantillon représentatif d'auteurs français à lui contemporains This study consists of an integrated linguistic analysis of the work of Milan Kundera. By integrated analysis, we mean a linguistic study carried out through qualitative and quanti-tative methods. These methods belong to the field of textometry, a discipline whose objective is to analyse textual corpora through computer processing (Guiraud, 1960; Lebart, Salem, 1994; Pincemin, 2020). More generally, this work could therefore be included in the field of stylometry, since this textometric analysis is functional to the characterization of a style of writing (Magri, 2010). Indeed, the main objective of this research is to detect by contrast the elements that define Kundera's prose. To this end, two corpora were composed : a corpus of study and a reference corpus (Rastier, 2011). The first comprehends almost all the texts of Kundera's Œuvre I, II (Gallimard, Pléiade). The second is representative of the French literary landscape of the period in which Kundera published his texts (1968-2013).The corpora were first digitised and then examined using the textometry software Hyperbase (web and standard version), which employs both classical statistical methods and deep learning techniques (CNN, Convolutional neural network).This software allows various analyses on lexical, morphosyntactic and semantic levels. In particular, the following elements have been investigated : the vocabulary structure, morphological and syntactic aspects, morphosyntactic and multidimensional patterns, and finally the thematic structure.These elements were examined in an endogenous analysis of the corpus of study and in a series of exogenous analyses between the corpus of study and the reference corpus. Indeed, comparative studies between Kundera's work and the contrastive norm represented by the reference corpus aim to isolate the linguistic characteristics of the literary language of the time in novels, essays and short stories, in order to detect the distinguishing elements of Kundera's prose that differ from the linguistic model of his contemporaries' literary language. In addition, endogenous analyses of Kundera's work - made possible by the compilation of subcorpora - can account for linguistic constants that are independent of genre, period and/or language, as well as for linguistic variants determined by literary genre, diachronic and/or linguistic variability. In conclusion, this study employs an integrated methodology (linguistics, literature, statistics, deep learning) with the aim of defining the prototypical features of Kundera's idiolect, that is, the most significant elements that distinguish his writing from that of a representative sample of his contemporary French authors

Marguerite de Provence (1221-1295) fut l'épouse du roi capétien, Louis IX, seul roi de France à avoir été canonisé. Fille aînée de Béatrice de Savoie et du comte de Provence Raymond Bérenger V, elle est aussi l'héritière d'une dynastie illustre de Catalogne et de Provence mais au regard du faible nombre de publications et de travaux sur sa personne, force est de constater qu'elle n'est pas considérée comme une des grandes figures féminines de la monarchie française. Ce sujet tend donc à s'insérer dans l'articulation privilégiée d'un thème en plein développement qu'est l'histoire des femmes et du genre, mais il veut aussi s'inscrire dans les perspectives actuelles d'anthropologie médiévale sur les fonctions des grandes dynasties princières. À partir de la diversité des sources recensées (diplomatique, épistolaire, iconographique, narrative et littéraire), trois axes de recherches se sont imposés. Le premier vise à retravailler la relation territoriale entre la Provence, terre d'Empire, le royaume de France et le comté de Savoie. En effet, les historiens ont abordé ces alliances essentiellement sous le prisme capétien, or des éclairages nouveaux peuvent être apportés lorsqu'on y incorpore l'influence catalano-provençale. Le deuxième axe est fondé sur les relations sororales qui seront un aspect important de cette thèse ; les liens de fraternité ont été jusqu'alors bien étudiés mais nous constatons peu de travaux sur la sororité. Or, les quatre filles de Raymond Bérenger V ont marqué l'histoire pour avoir épousé chacune un roi : Marguerite de Provence épousa Louis IX , Éléonore le roi d'Angleterre Henri III, Sanchie devint la femme de Richard, comte de Cornouailles proclamé par la suite roi des Romains ; enfin Béatrice fut mariée à Charles d'Anjou, frère de Louis IX qui devint roi de Naples et de Sicile. Enfin, dernier aspect envisagé le regard nouveau que peut offrir la personnalité de Marguerite de Provence sur l'étude de la fonction d'une reine de France au Moyen Âge. En effet, le silence de certaines sources contemporaines semble pesant, en particulier on peut se demander pourquoi l'action éclatante de la reine en Égypte lors de la croisade ne lui a pas valu une meilleure reconnaissance. Ainsi, sa personnalité a pu déranger et elle est à reconsidérer et à recontextualiser au prisme de la conception et de la coutume catalane. Dans ce contexte, l'absence et la rareté des informations sur sa personne peuvent refléter une volonté d'effacer son empreinte pour ne pas faire d'ombre à son royal et saint mari Marguerite of Provence (1221-1295) was the wife of the capétien King, Louis IX, the only French king to have been canonized. Eldest daughter of Béatrice of Savoie and the Count of Provence Raimond Bérenger V, she is also the heiress of the illustrious dynasty of Catalonia and Provence but in view of the few publications and works on her person, it is clear that she is not considered as one of the great female figures of the French monarchy. This subject tends to fit into the privileged articulation of a theme in full development of what is women's history and of the kind but it could also fit into the current perspectives of medieval anthropology on the functions of the great princely dynasties. From the diversity of identified sources (diplomatic, epistolary, narrative and literary), three lines of research impose. The first aims to study the territorial relationship between the Provence, land of the Empire, the Kingdom of France and the County of Savoy. Indeed historians have addressed these alliances essentially under the capétien prism whereas new light can be thrown on the subject if we include the catalonien-provencale influence. The second is founded on the sororales relations which will be an important aspect of this thesis; the links of fraternity have been well studied up to now but we find little research on the sorority. It is to be noted that the four daughters of Raimond Bérenger V have marked history by the fact that they all married a king : Marguerite of Provence married Louis IX, Eléonore the English King Henry III, Sanchie became the wife of Richard, the Count of Cornwall , later named King of the Romans, lastly Béatrice was married to Charles d'Anjou, the brother of Louis IX who became the King of Naples and the two Siciles. Marguerite of Provence was therefore at the intersection of powerful parenteles and their entourage which she could use for her political ambitions. The notion of a network is also a fecund approach. Thirdly, the last aspect to be considered is the personality of Marguerite of Provence which casts a new look on the study of the functions of a Queen in the Middle Ages. Indeed, the silence of certain contemporary sources seems heavy, in particular we may wonder why the eclatant action of the Queen of Egypt during the crusade did not get better recognition. So her character may have disturbed and she should be reconsidered and recontextualised in view of the catalan conception and customs. In this context the absence and the scarcity of information on her character may reflect a will to destroy her influence and not to cast a shadow over her royal and saint husband
