Resumen
Increased rice needs in an extensive use of paddy fields in the Jatipurno, Wonogiri. Managing rice fields can reduce soil quality. Proper management can improve soil quality, Jatipurno has management such as organic, semi-organic and inorganic paddy field management which have a real effect on soil quality. Assessment of soil quality is measured by physical, chemical and biological indicators, where each factor has a different effect. The chemical indicators are often used as the main indicators for determining soil quality, whereas every parameter has the opportunity to be the main indicator. So, biological indicators can play indicators. The main indicators are obtained from the correlation test (p-values ≤ 0,05 - < 0,01) and Principal Component Analysis with high value, eigenvalues > 1 have the potential to be used as Minimum Data Sets. The result is biological can be able to use as the Minimum Data Set such as microbial carbon biomass, respiration, and total bacterial colonies. The Soil Quality Index (SQI) of various paddy management practices shows very low to low soil quality values. The management of organic rice systems shows better Soil Quality Index with a score of 0,20 compared to other management. The practice of organic rice management shows that it can improve soil quality.

Resumen
AbstractPurposeThis study aims to classify research impact indicators based on their characteristics and scope. A concept of evidence-based nomenclature of research impact (RI) indicator has been introduced for generalization and transformation of scope.Design/methodology/approchLiterature was collected related to the research impact assessment. It was categorized in conceptual and applied case studies. One hundred and nineteen indicators were selected to prepare classification and nomenclature. The nomenclature was developed based on the principle—“every indicator is a contextual-function to explain the impact”. Every indicator was disintegrated into three parts, i.e. Function, Domain, and Target Areas.FindingsThe main functions of research impact indicators express improvement (63%), recognition (23%), and creation/development (14%). The focus of research impact indicators in literature is more towards the academic domain (59%) whereas the environment/sustainability domain is least considered (4%). As a result, research impact related to the research aspects is felt the most (29%). Other target areas include system and services, methods and procedures, networking, planning, policy development, economic aspects and commercialisation, etc.Research limitationsThis research applied to 119 research impact indicators. However, the inclusion of additional indicators may change the result.Practical implicationsThe plausible effect of nomenclature is a better organization of indicators with appropriate tags of functions, domains, and target areas. This approach also provides a framework of indicator generalization and transformation. Therefore, similar indicators can be applied in other fields and target areas with modifications.Originality/valueThe development of nomenclature for research impact indicators is a novel approach in scientometrics. It is developed on the same line as presented in other scientific disciplines, where fundamental objects need to classify on common standards such as biology and chemistry.

Resumen
Assays which purport to assess free radical activity in biological systems are multiple. However, despite numerous published descriptions of new methods and modifications of methods to assess free radical activity in biological materials, there is still a lack of reliable techniques for quantification of activity in vivo. Analysis of a number of related indicators and use of a variety of approaches appears the only reliable way to evaluate these processes in vivo. In studies of free radical generation by contracting skeletal muscle we have attempted to use a variety of indicators, including measurement of endogenous antioxidant levels, measurement of indirect indicators of free radical activity (e.g. products of lipid peroxidation, DNA oxidation or protein oxidation) and, where possible, measurement of direct indicators of free radical activity by electron spin resonance techniques. In view of the relative lack of specificity of many available techniques, caution should be exerted in evaluating the numerous examples of isolated single measures of free radical activity which are present in the scientific literature.

Resumen
Objective Since the Guangxi government implemented public county hospital reform in 2009, there have been no studies of county hospitals in this underdeveloped area of China. This study aimed to establish an evaluation indicator system for Guangxi county hospitals and to generate recommendations for hospital development and policymaking. Methods A performance evaluation indicator system was developed based on balanced scorecard theory. Opinions were elicited from 25 experts from administrative units, universities and hospitals and the Delphi method was used to modify the performance indicators. The indicator system and the Topsis method were used to evaluate the performance of five county hospitals randomly selected from the same batch of 2015 Guangxi reform pilots. Results There were 4 first-level indicators, 9 second-level indicators and 36 third-level indicators in the final performance evaluation indicator system that showed good consistency, validity and reliability. The performance rank of the hospitals was B > E > A > C > D. Conclusions The performance evaluation indicator system established using the balanced scorecard is practical and scientific. Analysis of the results based on this indicator system identified several factors affecting hospital performance, such as resource utilisation efficiency, medical service price, personnel structure and doctor–patient relationships.

Resumen
Abstract Background: Lymphomas are the sixth most common type of cancer in adults in Colombia. According to Cuenta de Alto Costo data from health insurance companies and health providers, there were 10,928 cases (1,257 new cases reported in 2016) of lymphoma in Colombia in 2017. Consequently, it is crucial to develop an instrument to assess and monitor risk management by insurance companies and providers in adults with diagnosis of Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. This would eventually contribute to reduce the impact of the disease in the patients, their families, and the healthcare system. The aim of this study was to establish evidence-based risk management indicators to measure health insurance companies' and health providers' performance in risk control in patients with lymphoma in Colombia. Methods: A consensus report was conducted adapting the method "The RAND/UCLA Appropriateness Method (RAM)". First, a detailed literature review was performed to synthesize the latest evidence on the topic. Second, a list of indicators was pre-selected. Third, expert panel rated the pre-selected indicators in two rounds. During the first-round, experts answered an online questionnaire to rate each indicator from 1 to 7 using a Likert scale. The ratings were made individually with no interaction among panelists. During the second-round, panelists met and discussed each indicator and the ratings. Then, re-rated each indicator individually. Indicators with a score over 80% were considered consensus. Fourth, a panel meeting was conducted to establish final indicators. And finally, results were shared with all actors involved in the Colombian healthcare system. Results: Twenty-four insurance companies representatives, 2 government representatives, and a public advocate participated. After reviewing the literature and a panel discussion, experts pre-selected a list of 25 management indicators which then were submitted to online voting. Twenty-three indicators achieved a high score and were validated, but since the two remaining indicators only received an intermediate score, all 25 indicators were submitted to a second online voting after discussing the first-round results. During the second-round, 3 indicators that were rated "inappropriately" by the panelists due to lack of relevance or viability, were conclusively excluded. Lastly, 15 final management indicators were approved and classified in five different domains (diagnosis, staging, treatment, opportunity, and results-overall survival, relapse-free survival, and mortality) during the panel meeting. Conclusion: Risk management indicators were established by a consensus report to assess and monitor management of patients with lymphoma by insurance companies and health providers. Since management indicators can be assessed from information reported by insurance companies to Cuenta de Alto Costo group, implementing strategies to improve survival rates and health-related quality of life can have great impact decreasing the burden of the disease in the Colombian healthcare system. Disclosures No relevant conflicts of interest to declare.

Resumen
The effect of biology activity on liquid indicators (pH, SCOD, VSS ,SOP etc.) and solid indicators (PHA , hepatin, TP etc.) of phosphorus-rich waste sludge during the anaerobic digestion were studied in this paper. Sludge used in this study was obtained from a sewage treatment plant in which the A/O process was used. The results indicated that the hydrolyzing of waste sludge was promoted by the addition of bacterium inhibitor in the beginning of experiment. However, the presence of bacterium inhibitor was disadvantage to both hydrolyzed and biological release mechanism of phosphorus in anaerobic digestion system.

Resumen
Abstract Several prognostic markers based on genetic, phenotypic, and molecular characteristics of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) B cells have emerged in the past decade. The clinical utility of these newer prognostic indicators, alone or in combination with each other and other clinical predictive systems, is still being determined. This chapter attempts to define biologic and molecular underpinnings of 3 sets of prognostic indicators in CLL: genetic abnormalities quantified by FISH and/or defined by exploratory sensitive molecular techniques, expression of specific proteins in or on CLL cells (ie, CD38, CD49d, and ZAP-70), and the IGHV mutation status of a CLL clone. Although not demonstrated conclusively, each probably reflects the biologic properties of the leukemic cells of individual CLL patients. This reflection may be direct, indicating a specific property of the CLL cell itself, or indirect, representing how the CLL cell interacts with the host's microenvironment. The new tyrosine kinase inhibitors that are currently in clinical trials support this interpretation. These and other biology-based indicators of patient clinical course and outcome can be used as starting points from which to understand and treat CLL.
