Production planning is a plan aimed at controlling the quantity of products produced. Production planning is very important to be carried out by the company so that the production will always be controlled. It is very difficult to plan production with a variety of product variations because each product certainly has a different demand value from its customers. This has become a complex problem so an algorithm is needed to overcome these problems. Simulated Annealing can produce optimal solutions more effectively and efficiently. Production costs generated by applying Simulated Annealing are Rp. 6,902,406,000, - for all types of products, which is better than existing condition.

Resumen
The Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) is a share ownership program implemented in the company, this ESOP program aims to serve as a reward for employees who have good performance where the criteria for receiving this ESOP have been determined by each company, United States of America. is the first country to implement this ESOP program, with various benefits for employees through this share ownership program, the ESOP itself began to be implemented by certain companies in Indonesia regulated by PSAK No. 53 which according to PSAK, payments by companies to employees are not only in the form of monetary value but can be in the form of share options that can be used as opportunities by companies that aim to increase employee motivation, performance and loyalty to the company which will ultimately have an impact on the value of the company itself. In Indonesia, company management has its own rules in the process of implementing the ESOP, one of which is to use the vesting method, this method contains that every employee who receives the option right is prohibited from selling his shares unless requested by the company or an employee has retired. From the results of statistical tests whether the variable current ratio (X1) and Price Book Value (X2) have an effect if the company carries out the ESOP program but the results show that if a company implements the ESOP, it has no effect on the current ratio or price book value, but the existence of ESOP can strengthen these ratios. Variable current ratio, price book value and return on assets have an effect on the ESOP only 33%.

The purpose of this paper is to analyse how a large European infrastructure developer responded to expatriate worries about high outdoor pollution levels in the Indian megacity Delhi. We present an exploratory case study obtained from a three months project with close university/company interaction, both with the head office in Oslo Norway and the Delhi office. Fact assessment showed that pollution levels are high and rising, with significant expected increase in asthma, cardiac diseases and mortality in the winter months. The results show that the employees compare home office environment with the Delhi office, and compare the company actions plans with other companies’ problem solving initiatives. Cost considerations were not important in the development of the response plan but in the implementation phase (specific decisions) and the results further shows that the characteristics of the internal process are important. We present a company response plan to a real-life situation, and this plan could be used by other companies as well. From the company perspective, the paper points towards a challenging issue of similar or dissimilar handling of local employees versus expatriates. Destination characteristics such as air pollution have attained limited focus in expatriate research, and a major contribution of this paper is to present facts and possible solutions as well as comments on future research needs.

Resumen
Along with the rapid development of technology in the industrial world, the need for electrical energy is also increasing. PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Sumbawa is a state-owned company (BUMN) that helps provide and deal with various electricity problems in the surrounding area. Steps taken by this company in maintaining the safety and comfort of using electrical energy is to carry out regular checks at the customer's home. However, this step is deemed ineffective because the customer may not be at home during the checking. In addition, checking manually can also cause errors when recording the KWH meter, so that this can cause losses to the customer and the company. Therefore, PT. PLN (Persero) introduced a new system, namely the Automatic MeterReading (AMR) system. With this system, companies can read KWH meters remotely and automatically so that there are no more errors in recording KWH meters. However, the use of the system must be balanced with a good communication network. Several areas in Sumbawa still have difficulties in accessing the communication network, causing several disturbances to occur in the system. With the existence of various previous problems, a research was conducted to observe the types of disturbances as well as efforts to prevent and deal with disturbances in the KWH Meter system at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Sumbawa uses the Fishbone and PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) methods.

Resumen
The article discusses the main directions, results and problems of preserving Chinese ancient books over the past 15 years, starting from 2007, when the first nationwide comprehensive Chinese Ancient Books Preservation Plan came into force. This plan has been implemented over three Five-Year Plan periods — the 11th (2006-2010), the 12th (2011-2015) and the 13th (2016-2020) — in the following areas: search and registration, restoration and storage, digitalization, editing, personnel education, promotion, and Guidelines on Promoting Ancient Books in a New Era were released in 2022. At present, search and registration of ancient books in Chinese has been basically completed: the whole volume of extant Chinese textual culture is about 500 thousand books, with the total number of individual books approaching 3 million in 30 million volumes. Along with the general results in the main areas, the article highlights the activity of individual large institutions (National Library of China, Zhonghua Book Company, Fudan University Library, etc.), expert assessments (Zhang Zhiqing, Deputy Director of the National Library of China, Gu Qing, editor-in-chief of Zhonghua Book Company and others), as well as the personal experience of modern users and participants of textual culture. Particular attention is paid to the current state of digitalization, and to the largest and most representative databases of ancient books (Database of Chinese Classic Ancient Books of NLC, Chinese Classic Ancient Books Database published by Zhonghua Book Company, Airusheng platform, Diaolong database, etc.).

Resumen
Purpose This paper aims to present a history of the marketing of hope chests in the USA, focusing in particular on one very successful sales promotion, the Lane Company’s Girl Graduate Plan. The Girl Graduate Plan is placed within its historical context to better understand the socioeconomic forces that contributed to its success for a considerable period but ultimately led to decreased demand for the product. Design/methodology/approach The history of the marketing of hope or marriage chests draws upon primary sources located in the Lane Company Collection at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture. Secondary sources and images of advertising culled from Google image searches provided additional insight into the operation of the company’s Girl Graduate Plan. Findings While the Lane Company benefitted in the form of increased sales, profit and brand awareness and loyalty from prevailing socio-economic trends, which supported the success of its Girl Graduate Plan, including targeting the youth market, this promotion ultimately fell victim to the company’s failure to stay abreast of social changes related to the role of women in society. Research limitations/implications Like all historical research, this research is dependent upon the historical sources that are accessible. The authors combined documents available from the Virginia Historical Society archives with online searches, but other data sources may well exist. Practical implications This history investigates how one manufacturer, a leader in the North American industry, collaborated with furniture dealers to promote their products to young women who were about to become the primary decision makers for the purchase of home furnishings. As such, it provides an historical example of the power of successful collaboration with channel partners. It also provides an example of innovation within an already crowded market. Social implications The hope chest as an object of material culture can be found in many cultures worldwide. It has variously represented a woman’s coming of age, the love relationship between a couple and a family’s social status. It has also served as a woman’s store of wealth. This history details how changing social values influenced the popularity of the hope chest tradition in the USA. Originality/value The history of the marketing of hope chests is an area that has not been seriously considered in consumption histories or in histories of marketing practices to date, in spite of the continuing sentimental appeal for many consumers.

Resumen
The history of the kitchen has received much attention from designers and design historians. Since the writings of Catharine Beecher, designers, household engineers, and others have written about the importance of the kitchen as the center of the home. This research traces the impact of the writings of theorists such as Frederick Taylor, Georgie Boynton Child, Helen Binkerd Young, and Christine Frederick on the designs produced by the architects in the first quarter of the 20th century. Frederick’s work took the concept of an efficient kitchen to a new level applying movement studies and introducing new ideas to the kitchen layout and arrangement. In a properly laid out and equipped kitchen, steps were saved by placing kitchen cabinets, ovens and stoves, refrigerators and sinks where they were needed in the sequence of food preparation and delivery to dining table as well as clean up after the meal. In her books, she also provided advice on a variety of considerations, such as appliances and accessories, lighting and ventilation; materials, finishes and color; and appliances and equipment. In 1919 a group of architects dedicated to improving the housing stock in the United States through good design banded together to form the Architects’ Small House Service Bureau (ASHSB). Their first plan book, How to Plan Finance and Build your Home published in 1921, also encouraged labor-saving kitchen design and provided advice on kitchen design. The research reported here assesses how the influence of Frederick and Boyton’s advice as reflected in the work of and interpreted by Helen Binkerd Young is demonstrated in the kitchen designs of the ASHSB’s first plan book. A plan content analysis instrument, developed using Frederick’s writings and edited to include other variables from Young and Child, is used to analyze the 99 kitchens and two essays in the ASHSB’s plan book. The plans and accompanying comments evidence enthusiasm for the concept of scientific management and other labor- and energy-saving concepts promoted by Frederick. Many of her specific suggestions are incorporated in their kitchen designs, but there is limited evidence that ASHSB designs are only influenced by Frederick but rather include other popular labor-saving concepts of the early 20th century.

Resumen
In 1980 the city of Edmonton organized Summerfest to help alleviate the cultural aridity of the summer months. While Summerfest’s two musical festivals, Jazz City and International Folk, caught fire immediately, its theatre festival was slower to ignite. A plan to run a summer-long repertory season of primarily Shakespearean plays out of a large tent in a city park worked well in 1981. The programme fell through in 1982 when the city offered Northern Lights Theatre, the sponsoring company, only half its previous budget. Enter Brian Paisley, founder and artistic director of Chinook Theatre, a touring group that had moved from Fort Saint John to Edmonton in 1980 and now was doing two shows a year in the historic Princess Theatre. Paisley, attracted to the “Old World” atmosphere of Edmonton’s Old Strathcona district, found himself imagining a multitude of small theatres in the area’s older buildings. When the $50,000 originally slated for Northern Lights came free, Paisley jumped at the chance to turn his fantasy into a reality.

Resumen
The European Union's 1999 Financial Services Action Plan (the FSAP), an ambitious reform agenda of forty-two measures, was designed to provide the regulatory underpinning for a single deep and liquid capital market, in which pan-EU market actors are regulated by their home Member State under harmonized rules. This single capital market would lower the cost of capital, unlock funding sources for companies, and increase returns on savings, while widening choice and stimulating competition in the pan-EU financial services industry. After a surge of legislative activity over the last months of 2003 and through early 2004, the FSAP is on track for timely completion in mid-2004, as called for by the March 2003 Brussels European Council. The closing of the current session of the European Parliament in spring 2004, combined with a sharp political focus on the financial markets post-Enron and in the wake of Parmalat, has concentrated EU attention both inter-institutionally and in the market place on delivery of the outstanding measures.1 With the adoption of the cornerstone Financial Instruments Markets Directive in April 2004, the FSAP is now, in large part, complete. Implementation should be achieved across the EU by 2006.

With the development and popularity of mobile networks, online shopping has gradually become a trend. For enterprises, the traditional marketing mode has been difficult to play an effective role when facing the emerging online shopping mode. This study aims to improve the revenue benefits of online shopping. This paper first introduces the traditional marketing mode and then selects the data mining model used for consumption preference segmentation to build an online marketing mode. An example analysis was conducted on a book sales company and a real estate company. The results showed that more users in this community preferred five types of books, and the percentages from high to low were teaching and learning materials, modern novels, popular science books, historical literature, and classical novels; more customers preferred online platforms among the channels for collecting information on home purchase. No matter it was the book sales company or the real estate company, compared with no fluctuation in the company’s turnover under the traditional marketing mode, the turnover of the company increased month by month after adopting the online marketing mode.

Research using case studies for Geprek Koplo Chicken at Hangry Indonesia for the period July until September 2020 . Data were obtained through interviews with related parties, observations, and viewing company financial documents. For the purposes of CVP analysis on Geprek Koplo Chicken, costs were classified based on cost behavior in relation to changes in the level of activity into fixed costs and variable costs. The results showed that the company's sales were effective using GrabFood, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic where there was a reduction in community activity outside the home so that many people prefer to use GrabFood services compared to the Hangry application. With CVP analysis, the company can (a) determine the level of sales at which the company does not make a profit or a loss (break-even point sales) of IDR 3,946,127,482, (b) determine sales projections if the company wants to get a certain profit target, (c) MOS ratio of -35.84% , (d) ) DOL of -2,79x, and (e) SDP of IDR3,927,908,379.

Resumen
Business plan is an important tool for managing and growing the planned business. A well-designed plan sets the vision for growth and the steps needed to get there. The plan is also a indispensable communication tool to attract finance to the planned business as well as managers and employees while business grows. The primary goal of a business plan is to define what a business is or what are the intentions to be achieved over time. Harmonizing the goal and direction of a business allows you to understand what needs to be done to move forward. The alignment can consist of a simple description of the business and its products or services. It can specify the exact product lines and services to be offered, as well as a detailed description of the ideal customer-client. Businesses are evolving and adapting over time, and process factors (primarily economically) for future growth and direction in the business plan can be an effective way to plan for market changes, growing or slowing trends, and new innovations or directions that should be taken while the company is growing. While clarifying the direction in the business plan allows you to know where you are starting, the future vision allows you to have goals that need to be achieved. The small business administration says: "The development of a comprehensive business plan shows whether a business has the potential to make a profit or not." By submitting statistics, facts, figures and detailed plans in writing, the new business is more likely to attract investors to secure the required capital for its launch. Business plans can be designed as a sales tool for attracting partners, securing suppliers, and attracting employees in the executive branch of the new venture. Business plans can be divided into executive candidates or desired partners to help them persuade themselves in the business potential and persuade them to join the team. The business plan conveys the organizational structure of the business, including the titles of directors or officers and their individual tasks. It also acts as a management tool that can be regularly referred to to ensure that the business is on track with targets for fulfillment, sales targets or operational milestones. Writing a business health plan involves the preparation of a document listing the services that are planned to be provided and how the company is planned to run. Healthcare businesses usually deal with fees, payment charts, payment systems, managed care contracts, and operational issues. By describing how the company would handle these challenges, it can show potential investors that the business strategy is healthy and worthy of their investment. Write a description of the healthcare business, for example, to list how and what services offer to the older people or disabled customers who do not have medical support at home. If you are planning to buy and work with a franchise, the parent company usually provides information and training that describes the business. Emergency centers usually provide care by an authorized practitioner, on-site laboratory services, recipe services and examinations outside of regular working hours. Describe the skills and experience of staff, such as doctors, laboratory technicians, technicians.

Working from home even after the coronavirus pandemic? Advantages and disadvantages from a business perspective Aims: This article provides an overview of the business perspective on working from home even after the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Reasons for and against an expansion of working from home are analyzed. Method: The analyses are based on the fourth wave of the “Businesses in the COVID-19 crisis” study, in which businesses were asked in detail about their current experiences with and future plans for working from home. For the descriptive analyses, only businesses in which the possibility of working from home exists in principle were taken into account (n = 1,059). Results: Working from home has become more important in German businesses during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. At the same time, the majority of businesses are aiming to return to their pre-crisis levels. About one fifth of the businesses plan to expand working from home in the future. Large businesses in particular want to expand their options. Businesses that want to reduce the proportion of staff working from home or teleworking again after the crisis state that the activities of the employees are not suitable for working from home. When businesses want to expand working from home options, they most often aim to improve the flexibility and work-life balance of their employees. Conclusion: Increasing work-from-home activities poses new challenges for occupational safety and health, and company regulations on the organization of work-from-home activities are gaining in importance. Large businesses in particular see a possible perceived unequal treatment of employees as a future issue. Keywords: working from home – home office – teleworking – mobile working – business survey – SARS-CoV-2 pandemic

CV. Rama Raiders was a home industry engaged in the fashion sector. The business had seven main stages of the production process: selecting materials, making patterns, cutting techniques, sewing processes, gluing processes, finishing/quality control, and packaging in carrying out production activities to achieve the desired quality CV. Rama Raiders still faces several obstacles, one of which is the presence of defective products produced, which causes product quality to decline. This research aims to identify the factors that cause sandals defects in CV. Rama Raiders. The methodology used the Seven tools and FMEA methods to determine the process of controlling leather sandal product defects using qualitative data. Corrective action plans used the 5W+1H concept to address each root cause of the problems. The results were that the most dominant type of defect in leather sandals was a type of glue defect that was not neat. The appearance was because of human and machine factors that didn't work optimally, tools that didn't support it, materials that didn't fit, inadequate environment, and no standard operating procedures. The improvements made by changing the glue, adding a brush, and making SOP improved the quality. From this research, the methods help reduce the problem of product defects experienced by the company

When I first walked into the living quarters of Begum Noor Jahan ZareefThanawi (1931-2017) in Karachi, I was fatigued from jetlag and notexpecting much to come of the meeting except polite verbal exchanges. But as I absorbed the functionality of every item in the sparsely furnishedroom, and the immense level of spiritual focus she carried within her frail(though still somehow strong!) physical frame, I realized I was sitting in thecompany of no ordinary woman. It was about Begum Zareef that Dr. ‘Abdal-Hayy ‘Arifi—one-time nāẓim of Dar al-‘Ulum Karachi and spiritual successorto Ashraf ‘Ali Thanawi—had remarked, “If we gave khilāfat (spiritualsuccessorship) to women, we would have given it to her.” Though not givenpermission to take spiritual disciples, her sheikh had given her a generalallowance to teach the religious sciences to women. She taught Qur’anicexegesis (tafsīr) for decades out of her home; wrote numerous pamphletson spirituality and religious practice; and published a volume on the legalrulings of Hajj, with a special focus on related women’s issues. If Begum Zareef were asked what was the secret that persuaded hersheikh to give her such a wide allowance to teach, I know her answer wouldbe the pious company (of her sheikh and others) that she kept throughouther life. As Ashraf ‘Ali Thanawi clarifies in Fawāʾid al-ṣuḥba, his famouslecture cited by Darakhshan Khan, it was the ṣuḥba (company) they’d keptthat made the Companions (Ṣaḥāba) who they were. Were it not for thefact that they had sat with the Messenger of God, they would not have attainedtheir otherwise unattainable spiritual and religious rank, and theywould not be seen as a necessary source of religious knowledge for all Muslimswho came after them. In my own book,1 I argue that ṣuḥba, in fact, lies at the spiritual center of Sunni Islam. For one to be a “real Sunni,” onedoes not merely have to accept the probity of every one of the Ṣaḥāba; onemust also accept that the preservation and continuation of true religious ...

This article discusses how experiments on microgravity plan to test the equations for flame behavior prediction. Houston is home to the Johnson Space Center, NASA’s headquarters for manned space flight programs. Ellington, a military base, serves as the space center’s home airport. NASA keeps a plane there called the Guppy, a freighter designed to ferry massive structures like those that will eventually wind up enlarging the International Space Station. The Guppy has a profile like Flipper swollen several stories high. The first time the team from Birmingham submitted its proposal, the idea was turned down, largely because of safety questions. The proposal went into rewrite and came back with a number of specific answers to questions of safety. The components for the experiment and the team’s trip to Houston were paid for largely by the Southern Co., a southeastern energy company where Hayes worked as a research intern when he was a student. He had talked to his boss, Steve Wilson, about money to support the microgravity experiment.

In the Long-Term Plan of PT Petronesia Benimel, the set sales growth per year from 2021 to 2025 is 30% per year. This is very possible to be realized, because in the next five years the company is still working on the Trans Sumatra Toll Road infrastructure project which is an assignment from the government to PT Hutama Karya (Persero), working on oil and gas projects, entering the mining business, and other infrastructure projects. To carry out these projects requires additional investment for working capital and capex spending. The company has determined that the source of funding for this will be obtained through an IPO. In order for the purpose of the IPO to get new funding can be carried out properly, then the value of the company at the time of the IPO must be worth offering. To find out this, the study conducted a valuation to provide an idea of the intrinsic value of the company that will be offered at the time of the IPO. Valuation is done by discounted valuation method for 2021 to 2030. The growth rate used is from 2021 to 2025 at 30% per year and since 2026 using declining growth with a decrease of 5% per year and will be stable at the level of 5%. The discount rate used is 16.42%. Resumen
A developing company must have a goal so that activities within the company can achieve these goals. It is necessary to have a plan accompanied by effective control. One tool that can meet the planning and control needs is a budget because the budget is formal and systematic rather than the exercise of management responsibilities in planning, coordination, and oversight. This study aims to determine the role of the budget as a means of planning and controlling production and to find out the application of the budget to the "Bahana Donut" home industry in City X. The type of approach in this research is the descriptive research method approach in case studies. The data analysis model in this study is to collect sales volume in 2018-2020. From this analysis, the results obtained that: (1) the home industry "Bahana Donut" in City X has an advantage in producing donuts every year because this donut entrepreneur has not made a budget for production activities, to overcome this problem, the home industry "Bahana Donut" "City X requires the role of the budget as a means of planning and controlling production. Resumen
Abstract Introduction: Neutropenia is a common complication in patients receiving myelosuppressive chemotherapy for nonmyeloid malignancies. Severe and febrile neutropenia are associated with prolonged hospitalization, serious infections and the use of broad-spectrum antibiotics, increased medical costs, and increased mortality. Granulocyte colony-stimulating factors (G-CSFs) are often administered to reduce the incidence, severity, and duration of febrile neutropenia in chemotherapy patients. The present analysis estimated the budget impact of increasing utilization of patient (home)-administered tbo-filgrastim and filgrastim-sndz in patients with nonmyeloid malignancies treated with myelosuppressive chemotherapy from a US payer perspective. Methods: An interactive budget impact model was developed to estimate the changes in drug costs associated with projected increases in the market share of tbo-filgrastim from 5% to 10% and filgrastim-sndz from 10% to 12% (with a corresponding decrease in filgrastim market share from 85% to 78%) for a 1 million-member health plan. Patient self-administration at home was assumed for 20% of patients receiving short-acting G-CSF treatment; all products were purchased through the patient's pharmacy benefit and were assumed to have Tier 3 formulary status with a patient co-pay of $54 per prescription. Base-case data were derived from publicly available resources. The overall plan budget impact was calculated using a 1-year time horizon, along with the difference in per-member per-year (PMPY) cost between the current and future scenarios; one-way sensitivity analyses were conducted. Results: The effective annual plan per-patient drug cost totaled between $16,961 and $27,199, depending on dose and presentation, for tbo-filgrastim, between $16,216 and $26,015 for filgrastim-sndz, and between $19,134 and $30,663 for filgrastim. The estimated overall annual plan cost associated with short-acting G-CSFs was $53,298,217 (PMPY = $53.30) in the current scenario and $52,828,832 (PMPY = $52.82) in the future scenario. Estimated cost savings totaled $469,385 (PMPY = $0.48). The model was most sensitive to changes in the overall proportion of patients self-administering G-CSFs at home and to the wholesale acquisition cost for filgrastim. Conclusions: The effective annual plan per-patient drug cost for tbo-filgrastim and filgrastim-sndz was lower by 11% and 15%, respectively, as compared with filgrastim. The present analysis estimated an annual US health plan cost savings approaching $0.5 million overall or $0.50 PMPY following an increase of market share by approximately 5% for tbo-filgrastim and 2% for filgrastim-sndz. Subject area Strategic management, HR Management, Change management, Marketing. Study level/applicability Potential audience. This case will serve to undergraduate students, master level students, in the subjects, entrepreneurship, managing change, marketing, H&R management, strategic management. Case overview The Brunes Company was founded in 1994 by Gerond Cela and his brother, with the goal to provide quality products for bathrooms in the then-emerging Albanian market. During the next few years, it had grown into one of the biggest wholesale and retail chains in Albania, with huge portfolio of goods for home refurbishing. The beginnings were very humble. Armed only with the high school diploma in textile trading, born and raised in an ex-communist country without developed entrepreneurship culture, Gerond set off to Italy, a popular destination for young Albanians who were looking for an opportunity to escape the pitfalls of the post-communist transitional economy. Gerond recognized the huge gap in the market for imported tiles in his home country, so he began importing quality Italian tiles in 1994. Initially, he was doing the wholesale from his truck, due to the lack of retail stores. He focused on increasing customer satisfaction and built the company name as trustful provider of quality goods. This strategy brought him less profit, but his long-term goal was to build the company name and to establish it as a trustful provider of quality goods. In 1999, he bought 18,000 m2 (for 50.000 euro) land on the highway Tirana-Durres, 7 km from the city centre, which proved to be extremely worthwhile in the long run because the price of the land had skyrocketed up to ten times during the next decade, due to the economic development of Albania. In 2004, Gerond and his brother epitomized their business idea. They entered the market of home furniture. In 2009, the company expanded further in country towns like Lezha, Saranda and Fier. After two decades of establishing his company as a market leader with approximately 30 per cent of market share, Brunes Company is at the crossroads. On one hand, it is pressured by very stiff competition in the form of their main competitor Delta Home, which succeeded in taking 10-15 per cent of the marketing just in one year. On the other hand, the company has been stagnating for some period without a concrete plan to overcome this problem, as well as without a clear strategy for the future directions of the expansion. To diversify the company’s portfolio, Gerond built a factory for tiling accessories which will cost 8 million Euros and employs about 30 workers. Expected learning outcomes Specific objectives of the case are as follows: to portray individuals who became successful primary through their leadership abilities, and to examine how their experiences and values contributed to the success of their business; illustrate the impact on operations of an increasingly competitive environment and how this environment affects the need for a change in strategy; identify the challenges of selling luxury goods in a competitive retail environment; to assist students to critically think about diversification strategy; to gain an understanding how to adapt to change; to discuss for issues that must be changed (culture, people, technology, values and philosophy of leadership, marketing, business model), to grow. This article examines the development of the VIC-20 computer system as producedby the American computer company Commodore International during the early 1980s.This analysis demonstrates that thanks to the requirements of the American computermarket in the early 1980s, those responsible for its development acted more like a teamof collaborative artists rather than a true, by-the-book engineering team. This allowedthem to develop the first computer that sold over one million units and created the homecomputing market. This analysis also demonstrates that this form of development nolonger has a place in today’s computer development world.

This article describes the use and development of a three-ring binder book titled Caring One Day at a Time. The book is an organizational tool in which the family keeps the medical, developmental, and financial records of their child from birth until adolescence or beyond. Pertinent, accurate, and accessible information empowers the family to take an active and vital role in the development and implementation of their child’s plan of care. This book provides a record that can be accessed by the family and the multidisciplinary team and supports the transition from family-centered care in the hospital to family-directed care at home. Parent-held records like Caring One Day at a Time are used in other countries, and studies have shown them to be valuable to both families and professionals. Resumen
Can you change your thoughts by changing your words? Do you have an obligation to speak the truth, even a politically incorrect one? In this work of philosophical short fiction, the narrator is a government approved writer. His job is to update published works by deleting words that have been made illegal; words like Easter, retard, and faggot. Words that might offend anyone. The narrator leaves his office to pick up the newest edition of the Bureau’s Book Of Approved Words. Of course, in getting the new edition, he must turn in the old edition. They plan to upload the books to the net for others to read. The next day the narrator is reassigned from writing movie reviews to writing music reviews because he wrote one to many “anything-but-glowing,” movie reviews. Resumen
A social studies methods instructor and college students collaborated with an elementary teacher and fifth grade students to produce exciting cereal box dioramas of Native American cultures from different parts of the United States. The dioramas were constructed of a cereal box with a model of a historic Native American home on the front. The box was cut to open like a book to reveal the inside of the home and a ceremonial scene. The back and sides of the box featured crafts, clothing, food, transportation, or other information. Seven steps were implemented to guide this project-based learning experience. 1) Project’s goal: to engage students in active, meaningful learning, integrated with art, challenging in complexity and three-dimensional spatial reasoning, while addressing the values of Native Americans. 2) Involve students in researching and illustrating, “What were the lives of Native Americans like?” 3) Plan assessment of student research notebooks. 4) Plan assessment of final project’s required components. 5) Map how the project will unfold. 6) Respond to the challenge of making a three-dimensional model by providing examples and assistance. 7) Manage the project through collaboration between pre-service teachers and elementary students along with involvement of other school personnel.

Resumen
Since the introduction of equity incentives into China, more and more domestic listed companies have used equity incentives as a main incentive mechanism to motivate employees and promote the stable development of the company, and most of them have achieved good results. However, equity incentives are diversified, and different equity incentives have different incentive effects. From the perspective of the company's long-term and stable development, it is particularly critical to select the most appropriate form of equity incentives according to the life cycle and its own development stage. This paper summarizes the relevant literature on equity incentives and life cycle at home and abroad, and finds that most scholars believe that equity incentives can often achieve the expected incentive effect, and the equity incentive plan based on the perspective of life cycle can also help to further enhance the positive effect of equity incentives.

Background and PurposeThe role of older women close to the pregnant woman may be relevant when conveying information. The use of theories/models can guide the development of nursing practice. Purpose: To explore beliefs and practices related to pregnancy and childbirth from the perspective of older women who gave birth at home, applying Leininger's Sunrise Model.MethodsQualitative approach, using semi-structured interviews with 24 older women who gave birth at home (rural area, Spain). Manual content analysis of the data was used, and Sunrise Model guided to explore the role of culture and the factors affecting maternity care.ResultsTwo main categories emerged: beliefs/practices related to physiological aspects (subcategories: minimal intervention, hygiene, pain control, rest, feeding) and to psychosocial aspects (subcategories: spiritual well-being, company).Implications for PracticeThe experiences of older women who gave birth at home helped us to understand some beliefs that survive in some pregnant women, similar in different cultures, and divided into physiological and psychosocial aspects. Older women have a relevant role as transmitters of information, and can provide some keys to plan health interventions, as companions or counselors. Applying the Sunrise Model, we verified the weight that culture has in maternal health care, and the multiple factors that interfere with the way of caring. The application of models helps us to improve nursing practice: not only should we focus on knowing the physical aspects, but also the social and cultural circumstances surrounding the pregnant woman.

PT Topjaya Antariksa Electronics is a manufacturing company that produces various refrigerators, home freezers, and showcase refrigerators. Refrigerators are produced in the form of single doors and twin doors. This company was founded in 1988 and distributed by Toshiba Sarana Utama throughout Indonesia. This research is intended to reduce the process failure rate so that the potential for defects produced in the polyurethane shop is reduced by finding repair solutions. This study aims to plan improvement efforts to reduce process failures in the polyurethane shop and then evaluate the results of implementing the proposal. The FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) method is used. This method performs several stages, such as determining the potential failure mode in each process, identifying the cause of failure, and then making a priority order. Process failure in this polyurethane shop is the most significant process failure compared to other shops. This failure causes the defects in the process at the polyurethane shop to be higher than in other shops. In 2019, 2020, and 2021, the number of refrigerator cabinets in the flawed polyurethane injection process amounted to 7,666 units, 8,256 units, and 8,014 units. The percentage of defects compared to the amount of production found in the polyurethane injection process each year was 18.46%, 17.82%, and 18.11%.

Resumen
“History of the village” is chronologically the last project in a series of major publishing projects of M. Gorky in the 1930s. The idea was not implemented. Work on the project began in February 1935. In January of this year, Gorky received a letter from Siberia, from the editor of a small Siberian newspaper N. Zharikov, who reported on the beginning of work on the history of the Siberian village. The Siberian theme as the starting point of the “History of the village” was initially rejected by Gorky. He insisted on describing “typical” villages and villages, which did not include Siberian villages. However, in a number of points of a large publishing project, the Siberian theme inevitably manifested itself, in particular, in two books that V. Ya. Zazubrin worked on. In the “History of the village” there were several major thematic blocks. A special place among them was occupied by the “Library of the collective farmer”. It was intended to be a “verbal illustration” of historical works of a popular science nature. Engaged in the “Library of the collective farmer” V. Ya. Zazubrin. He carried out the selection of texts, worked with commentators and authors of prefaces to collections. In the collection of selected chapters from the “Journey from St. Petersburg to Moscow” by A. N. Radishchev, he intended to add fragments of the diary of his Siberian journey. One of the latest versions of the plan for the “Library of the collective farmer” includes the “Book about Radishchev” by V. Ya. Zazubrin, which includes a biography of Radishchev, peasant chapters “Travels from St. Petersburg to Moscow” and excerpts from the Siberian travel diary. The Book dedicated to the Russian-American company was supposed to cover the company’s activities in Siberia. The idea of the book appeared in the plans of the series thanks to S. N. Markov, a colleague of Zazubrin in the “Siberian lights”, who in 1935 was exiled in Arkhangelsk. It was Markov who told Gorky about the part of the archive of the Russian-American company discovered in Vologda. While working on the inventory of this archive, Markov initiated his Pacific card index, on the basis of which he later wrote a number of works. The history of Russian America became the main theme of his work. V. Ya. Zazubrin’s participation in the project and Gorky’s correspondence with S. N. Markov especially contributed to the development of the Siberian theme in the “History of the village”. In the thematic and production plan of the “Library of the collective farmer” for 1937, compiled after Gorky’s death, was included the book about the Russian-American company by S. N. Markov under the editorship of V. Ya. Zazubrin. In 1947, based on his Pacific card index, Sergey Markov wrote the book “Chronicle of Alaska”.
