Resumen
Global Health is a polysemic expression, but strongly identified as a response to relatively new Health problems and with accelerated growth in the number of cases, which affect the population of both rich and poor countries, such as the emergence of diseases that can be avoided by through exercise practices or physical or sports activities. These diseases can be: Obesity, Diabetes, Cardiopathies, Kidney dysfunctions, Metabolic syndromes, among others. These diseases can also be avoided through food control, social programs such as the Family Health Program, vaccination campaigns, control of health and humanitarian crises. Another factor that has contributed to the imbalance of Global Health is the unrestricted use of natural resources, the growing and unrestrained exploitation of deforestation in the Amazon rainforest, among others. In this sense, this article aims to show in the current literature how the Global Health field is being configured, linked to contemporary globalization processes. Methodologically, the study took place through an integrative view of the literature, with emphasis on scientific productions published from the 2000s onwards. The main results of the article show that Global Health is a field that involves diplomatic relations between countries, role remodeling of agencies considered hegemonic in the 20th century, such as the World Health Organization (WHO), horizontal proximity between countries in the formulation of health policies, participation of actors from civil society and the second sector, recognition of cultural, political and social diversity , and the need to understand the environmental determinants of health. On the other hand, it shows its limits of practical action in contexts marked by neoliberal principles, of minimal state intervention, since investments in Global Health depend on the performance of strong national health systems.

Resumen
Objective: To map the formation processes and ongoing education actions experienced by Community Health Agents (CHAs) in the context of family health, anchored in the concept of culture. Methodology: Scope review following the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology and guided by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR). The search in databases such as BVS, EBSCO – Academic Search Premier, CINAHL, GreenFILE, SocINDEX, Embase, ERIC, Global Index Medicus, PUBMED, Scielo, Scopus, WOS, took place in November and December 2022. The search terms were: Community Health Workers, Professional Training, Continuing Education, Family Health Strategy, Primary Health Care. Studies analyzing training experiences and actions of Permanent Education in Health (PEH) for CHAs in the context of family health were included. Endnote and Rayyan software were used in managing the selection of findings. The review protocol was registered on the Open Science Framework (OSF). Results: The sample included 25 studies, generating two categories: The primacy of instrumental technical training culture; and The biomedical culture guiding PEH. CHA training involves disinvestment and invisibility, focusing on the biomedical model. On the other hand, even if sporadic, PEH actions are guided by emerging health themes. Final Considerations: The formative processes and PEH for CHAs involve paths of construction and deconstruction, progress, and setbacks, based on a culture that often restricts established rights.

Resumen
This article aims to present and discuss an experience of applying an online questionnaire (QOL) as a data production device in the universe of health research. This is a survey carried out in a partnership between the Faculty of Medicine of USP and the Research and Training Center of Sesc São Paulo, which proposed to develop a new concept of an online questionnaire, aimed at capturing the life experience of respondents during the period of the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the theoretical-methodological framework of intervention research, the results of this experience point to the proposition of an in-depth questionnaire, based on the use of different communication techniques and the active incorporation in its form and content of at least 4 dimensions that are inseparable from the production of knowledge in health: (1) its ethical-investigative dimension, (2) the clinical dimension, (3) the aesthetic-communicational dimension and (4) its political dimension. It is concluded that, with the growing process of virtualization of life – which is also expressed in investigative processes in health – the reinvention of online data production techniques can be presented as a strategy for the creation of innovative processes in academic production, which allow for an extensive and plural increase in samples, without losing depth in the production of knowledge and care.

Resumen
This study examines the feasibility and effectiveness of screening university students for Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) as part of a broader public health initiative. RHD remains a significant cause of morbidity and mortality, particularly in resource-limited settings, despite being largely preventable. The screening program targets university students due to their age group's susceptibility to RHD and the potential to intervene early in the disease progression. Through a combination of clinical assessments, echocardiography, and laboratory tests, students are evaluated for signs and symptoms of RHD. The findings shed light on the prevalence of RHD among university populations and the utility of targeted screening in identifying asymptomatic cases. This research contributes to the understanding of RHD epidemiology and informs strategies for early detection and intervention, thereby mitigating its burden on public health systems.

Resumen
The present work arose from the reflections arising from the classes taught in the field of health, society and the environment, at the PPGEAA (Programa de Pós-graduação em Estudos Antrópicos na Amazônia) and aims to articulate the relationships between these conceptions from the intertwining with the thematic proposal arising from the student research project presented to the program. To this end, this article presents a study on cosmologies and indigenous thought with regard to the way in which these societies organize themselves, coexist and conceive the triad of health, society and environment. Even so, it is necessary to understand the multiple ways in which these societies conduct their social practices based on their beliefs recurrently interconnected with elements present in nature. The methodology used in this work consists of bibliographical research from the selection of texts that dialogue with the thematic proposal in question. The theoretical framework of this research is based on the work of authors who focus on the concepts treated or who in some way complement the dialogue of this research. The knowledge, beliefs and practices disseminated through the indigenous tradition were, for a long time, marginalized, ignored or mistakenly viewed by the foreign gaze and the ethnocentric issue in the figure of the colonizer. With that, it is expected with this work, to provide a critical, plural and interdisciplinary interpretation from the reflection on the indigenous thought in the present time.

Resumen
The task of extracting and classifying entities is at the core of important Health-NLP systems such as misinformation detection, medical dialogue modeling, and patient-centric information tools. Granular knowledge of textual entities allows these systems to utilize knowledge bases, retrieve relevant information, and build graphical representations of texts. Unfortunately, most existing works on health entity recognition are trained on clinical notes, which are both lexically and semantically different from public health information found in online health resources or social media. In other words, existing health entity recognizers vastly under-represent the entities relevant to public health data, such as those provided by sites like WebMD. It is crucial that future Health-NLP systems be able to model such information, as people rely on online health advice for personal health management and clinically relevant decision making. In this work, we release a new annotated dataset, HealthE, which facilitates the large-scale analysis of online textual health advice. HealthE consists of 3,400 health advice statements with token-level entity annotations. Additionally, we release 2,256 health statements which are not health advice to facilitate health advice mining. HealthE is the first dataset with an entity-recognition label space designed for the modeling of online health advice. We motivate the need for HealthE by demonstrating the limitations of five widely-used health entity recognizers on HealthE, such as those offered by Google and Amazon. We additionally benchmark three pre-trained language models on our dataset as reference for future research. All data is made publicly available.

Resumen
Urban areas are hot spots of consumption of products and disposal of waste. Societies have focused on access to food and goods, but today urbanisation forces them to engage in managing waste flows. In particular, to allow safe recovery and recycling of nutrients for agricultural usage in order to feed us all. Recycling presupposes reduction of harmful chemical substances and pathogens in waste in order to secure public and environmental health. Here, a five-step extended waste hierarchy is introduced to guide measures to be taken to reduce waste generation and to increase reuse and recycling. For instance, by substituting the mined phosphorus (P) in detergents and P in food and feed additives and reduce food waste over 40 % of currently used mined P can be saved. Another 15 to 30% can be recovered through reuse and recycling of solid and liquid organic waste. Such measures will make P almost limitless. Simultaneously, the secured food production will lead to reduced malnutrition and, together with a cleaner environment, to improved public health.

Resumen
The concept of healthy nutrition as a key factor shaping human health in all periods of life, as well as its fundamental principles based on the basic laws on nutrition, is considered. Special attention is paid to the issues of food safety, ensuring the physiological needs for energy, food and biologically active substances, the importance of diversity and balance of the diet. The main violations of the nutrition structure of the population of the Russian Federation are reflected and effective tools for its improvement, prevention of alimentary-dependent non-communicable diseases and health-saving of the nation are proposed.
