Resumen
Abstract This paper aims to improve the reliability of train operation as well as to guarantee the safety of wheelset interference assembly. A finite element model of the wheel-axle interference fit is established with a metro B-type car as the research object. The finite element calculation software is used to simulate the static strength of the wheel-axle model under different working conditions, contact spots, and maximum/minimum interference. The effect of different interference and different working conditions on contact stress is studied. The study shows that the wheel meets the static strength requirements under all working conditions. The maximum equivalent stresses are located at the wheel hub bore under the maximum or minimum interference assembly. The full curved condition with maximum interference is the most dangerous condition among the working conditions.

This paper based on a settled type of structure concerning hydraulic excavator rotary platform as the research object, use the method of finite element analysis to build the finite element model in the conditions of three typicals of representative working condition about this rotary platform. By the analysis concerning the strength and stiffness of this platform structure based on the builded model, the weak link about this structure can be find out by us. Finally , according to the optimization structure design about this device, the maximum combined stress related to the easy fatigue failure area in all working condition could be significantly reduced from 162.93MPa to 115.05MPa, decrease by 29.4 percent. Thus, the structure performance could be greatly improved on the premise of guarantee the weight of construction.

Resumen
Affected by factors such as complex production operation data, high dimensions, and weak regularity, the existing ultra-short-term working condition prediction method struggles to guarantee the prediction accuracy and operation speed. Therefore, we propose an ultra-short-term working condition prediction method based on a convolutional neural network (CNN) and a long short-term memory network (LSTM). Firstly, we use sliding window and normalized processing methods to carry out data processing, and use CNN to extract the characteristics of processed production operation data. Secondly, we then improve the LSTM gated structure and introduce L2 norm, learning the change law of the production operation data by means of the LSTM prediction layer, and then obtain the predicted value of the working condition. We use the Bayesian method to select the parameters of the CNN-LSTM model to improve the prediction accuracy. Finally, we apply our method to a real-world application to demonstrate that our ultra-short-term working condition prediction method achieves superior results for prediction accuracy and running speed when compared with other methods.

A high reliability of Traffic Memory(TM) working condition is of vital importance to information transfer in MVB. In order to avoid bus traffic overflows, the minimum possible time intervals or loading ratios of TM for a given number of ports were calculated. The longer supervision period it had, the more number of docks could be supervised. The number of docks supervised, during supervision intervals, was submitted to Normal distribution ( Ν(μ,σ2)). From the possibility distribution function it could σfind maximum possibility of the number of docks in working. From the disturbance rejection test of the fixed factor σ , a reasonable setting of sink-time supervision interval could be made to guarantee a high reliability for TM working condition.

The demand for transfer learning methods for mechanical fault diagnosis has considerably progressed in recent years. However, the existing methods always depend on the maximum mean discrepancy (MMD) in measuring the domain discrepancy. But MMD can not guarantee the different domain features to be similar enough. Inspired by generative adversarial networks (GAN) and domain adversarial training of neural networks (DANN), this study presents a novel deep adaptive adversarial network (DAAN). The DAAN comprises a condition recognition module and domain adversarial learning module. The condition recognition module is constructed with a generator to extract features and classify the health condition of machinery automatically. The domain adversarial learning module is achieved with a discriminator based on Wasserstein distance to learn domain-invariant features. Then spectral normalization (SN) is employed to accelerate convergence. The effectiveness of DAAN is demonstrated through three transfer fault diagnosis experiments, and the results show that the DAAN can converge to zero after approximately 15 training epochs, and all the average testing accuracies in each case can achieve over 92%. It is expected that the proposed DAAN can effectively learn domain-invariant features to bridge the discrepancy between the data from different working conditions.

The retaining walls were divided into water retaining wall and soil retaining wall, they were built to cut off rivers or prevent soil structures from sliding. In engineering the stress state of the structure played an important role to analysis the working condition and to guarantee the project safety. The stress state of any point in the water retaining wall and soil retaining wall were studied based on the elasticity theory and soil mechanics. The method of semi-inverse was used to deduce the stress intensity of the retaining wall in polar coordinate. And if the failure criteria and strength conditions of the retaining wall were known, the working and safety state of the structure could be checked from the stress intensity.

Grid frequency must be regulated in its nominal range to guarantee the stable operation of an electric power grid. Excessive grid frequency excursions result in load shedding, grid frequency instability, or even synchronous generator damage. With the growing wind penetration, there is an increasing issue about the reduction in inertia response. This paper addresses a self-adaptive inertial control strategy for improving the frequency nadir and smoothly regaining the rotor speed to the initial working condition without causing a second frequency drop (SFD). The first objective is achieved by determining the incremental power considering the maximum rate of change of frequency; the secondary goal is realized by smoothly decreasing the power reference based on the decreasing function. Simulation results verify that the proposed control strategy not only boosts the frequency nadir but also guarantees the smooth rotor speed recovery with a negligible SFD.

Currently, ozonation installations in French drinking water treatment plants are operated in order to ensure an ozone residual of 0.4 mg/L at the outlet of the contactor with a contact time of 4 minutes which guarantee, with regards to the USEPA tables, a 4 log virus inactivation. Veolia Water has launched a thorough study concerning hydraulics in ozonation contactors which goals are (1) to reach the disinfection level desired through a better supervision of operating conditions, (2) to guarantee good hydraulic performances to reduce ozone production and ozonation-by products (bromates). The validation of these objectives is related to a relevant control of every ozonation tank with a Ct criteria considering from now their geometry, which condition their hydraulic efficiency. In comparison with CSTR method, the Ct10 method has been judged as the most relevant. Veolia is working with such a tank control, which definitely requires the determination of its hydraulic efficiency. Considering that numerical modelling of the ozonation contactors will be very long and expensive, the project team is working on the determination of an analytical model expression for hydraulic efficiency. The objective is to create an innovative tool which enables plant operators themselves to easily determine the hydraulic efficiency of inter or post ozonation tank.

Objective.— To propose an insurance product called special needs insurance. The insurance will pay parents a lump sum up to $100,000 if they have a child that is born with or develops a special needs condition such as Down syndrome, cerebral palsy or autism. Background.— Raising a child is expensive; raising a child with a special need can be hundreds of thousands of dollars more expensive. These additional costs include direct costs that are not covered by health insurance and indirect costs such as the loss of earnings when a working parent must tend to a special needs child. Method.— We analyze a gamut of birth and early childhood disabilities, both physical and cognitive, from the medico-actuarial perspective. We describe each condition using relevant medical literature and calculate prevalence rates from epidemiological studies (appendix A1-A15). After accounting for multiple births, we develop a final premium. Results.— We find that physical impairments are sufficiently well understood to guarantee a fixed payout, whereas cognitive impairments such as autism are less understood, and so for these we propose a cognitive fund that does not guarantee a fixed payout. We find that an average single premium of $4,600 allows the insurer to profitably pay out the proposed benefits. Conclusions.— Raising a special needs child can put a significant strain on the affected family's budget. We propose an insurance product that provides relief through a large lump sum payout. Although no new insurance product can be guaranteed success, our analysis of this product gives an interested insurer reasonable justification to take on this new risk.

The article aims to present the National Health System in Angola, contextualizing the periods that marked the country's history and health policy, and to reflect the assured principles and contemporary challenges. Health is guaranteed as a universal and integral right, but it faces structural problems typical of the capitalism system for its guarantee and access. The theme is current and relevant and requires a debate to guarantee health as a public good, which motivated the carrying out of qualitative research, based on a bibliographic and documental review, in a dialectical and critical perspective for the analysis of this complex and contradictory reality. The results and discussions show that the challenges are significant and determined by the inequalities of living and working conditions as a whole. There is a great national effort to improve the Health System, with possibilities built from the contradictions of this reality, in movement and transformation.

Based on the ground penetrating radar's work mechanism, this article briefly introduces the working principle and the data processing method of ground penetrating radar detecting the tunnel lining. In view of the lining quality detection's characteristics, it summarizes a series of atlas reflection characteristic of the examination target such as the lining thickness, the backfill quality, the steel bar reinforcement situation, the adjacent formation structural feature and so on, and analyses and comments on them with project examples. The research believes that under appropriate working condition, as an important means to guarantee the construction security and maintain the tunnel health, ground penetrating radar technology can examine the lining quality fast and effectively, and meet the needs of the tunnel lining quality detection with suitable equipment, working method and data processing plan.

The study sheds light on the various legal texts that guarantee the working woman protection ‎from the risk of childbirth and the analysis of these texts, starting with the constitutional texts, ‎the Labor Relations Law and the Social Security Law, since the latter guarantees the working ‎woman the right to a paid maternity leave under certain conditions, procedures and guarantees ‎that would ensure stability for the woman at both the professional and family levels.‎ The issue of maternity protection is also considered as a basic legal axis in international labor ‎agreements and comparative legislation. The study highlights the position of the Algerian ‎legislator on these international standards and comparative laws, especially since Algeria is ‎working hard to structure and ameliorate this protection.‎ It is known that recently, the Algerian legislator renewed the interest in the sensitive situation ‎of the pregnant woman by taking preventive measures towards her in light of the spread of the ‎Corona epidemic (Covid 19) by deciding to give her the right to an exceptional paid holiday ‎in accordance with the executive decree 20-69, related to the measures to prevent the spread ‎of the Corona epidemic (Covid 19).

The process of human exploration of the universe has accelerated, and aerospace technology has developed rapidly. The health management and prognosis guarantee of spacecraft systems has become an important basic technology. However, with thousands of telemetry data channels and massive data scales, spacecraft systems are increasingly complex. The anomaly detection that relied on simple threshold judgment and expert manual annotation in the past is no longer applicable. In addition, the particularity of the anomaly detection task leads to the lack of fault data for training. Therefore, a data-driven deep transfer learning-based approach is needed for rapid analysis and accurate detection of large-scale data. The control moment gyroscope (CMG) is a significant inertial actuator in the process of large-scale, long-life spacecraft in-orbit operation and mission execution. Its anomaly detection plays a major role in the prevention and elimination of early failures. Based on the research of SincNet and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks, this paper proposed a Sinc-LSTM neural network based on transfer learning and working condition classification for CMG anomaly detection. First, a two-stage pre-training method is proposed to alleviate the data imbalance, using the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) dataset and a satellite dataset from NASA. Second, the Sinc-LSTM network is designed to enhance the local fitting and long-period memory ability of the model for CMG time series data. Finally, a dynamic threshold judgment anomaly detection method based on working condition classification is designed to accommodate threshold changes for CMG full-cycle anomaly detection. The method is validated on the spacecraft CMG dataset.

In view of the problem that new type crushing ripper installation of tamping equipment in circulation under the action of different load working multiple cases may occur structural fatigue damage, analysis of its force characteristic, establishment ripper rack compression bending component model, according to the working condition of the most unfavorable load combinations, using the allowable stress method to calculate structural fatigue strength; the combined effect of road load spectrum and vibrating load is also taken into consideration, then statics analysis and fatigue analysis of new type crushing ripper are calculated with the finite element analysis software Ansys Workbench. The results show that theoretical calculations are in accordance with the finite element analysis results, it evidences that the fatigue strength analysis method of crushing ripper is feasible and correct. It provides a reference for the anti-fatigue optimization design of new type crushing ripper, to guarantee its meet the operational requirements under of bad conditions.

Because the real load location of structure in working condition is unknown or cannot be reached, a new equivalent load identification algorithm in frequency domain is proposed. This new algorithm can guarantee the same vibration response signals for key examination points and can reach purposes of reliability test and environmental adaptability test then. Based on the assumptions of linear system and uncorrelated of each load, combined transfer functions, least-squares of generalized matrix inverse in frequency domain, this new algorithm identify multi-sources loads at the same time. In this new algorithm, the Identification load location, direction and form can be specify prior and not be the same with real load location, the boundary condition of structure in test cannot be the same with working condition. Formula derivation, application scope and steps of this method were summarized then. Load identification results of vibration simulations in cylindrical shell showed that this new method could basically meet the engineering precision requirement of ± 3db at last, which valid the effectiveness and reasonableness of this method.

Safety valve is an important guarantee for nuclear power plant system. Its working environment is harsh, and medium is high-temperature corrosive. It is important to study the dynamic characteristics of nuclear safety valve under unsteady condition to improve the stability and safety of nuclear power plant piping system. Using the finite element method, mass simplification and Rayleigh method, the frequency response analysis of the safety valve and the spring is predicted to predict the seismic capacity under the earthquake load. Based on the verification of the dynamic characteristics of the valve body, the stress and strain analysis of the spring is carried out. To explore the failure condition of the safety valve spring, the lateral deviation linearity of the spring was tested and analyzed by setting up the offset test bench. The results show that the safety valve with the above analysis method can meet the working requirements under the shaking condition. The research results provide an important theoretical basis for the design and analysis of nuclear safety valves.

Resumen
A legal analysis of the guarantees aimed at ensuring the right to annual paid leave is carried out. It is found that the employee is not able to waive his right to the minimum annual paid leave, even if there is such agreement of the employer. The employee is legally guaranteed not only the specified duration of basic annual paid leave, but also its mandatory annual use. It is noted that domestic case law contains many examples of protection of the employee's right to annual paid leave of a certain duration. Amendments that were made to the procedure of granting leaves by the Law of Ukraine «On the Organization of Labor Relations in the Conditions of Martial Law» indicate the guaranteed right of the employee to use annual vacation, albeit with some restrictions. In addition, it is investigated that the legislation of Ukraine on leaves does not establish basis for losing the right to annual paid leave. It is established that such vacations must be used, as a rule, before the end of the working year, and not providing leave of full duration is prohibited for two years in a row. At the same time, it is emphasized that the employee does not lose this right, even if he did not ask for a leave. The employee is not deprived of this right even when the employer intends to fire him from his job. It is noted that although the labor legislation does not contain basis that deprive an employee of the right to annual paid leaves, there are those that do not allow its implementation. It is about dismissal of an employee for violation of labor discipline. It is proposed to legislatively determine the methods of mutual notification of the parties of an employment contract as one of its essential conditions. This will contribute to the timely notification of the parties of the employment contract and will guarantee their familiarization with the notices and other necessary documents. It is concluded that the guarantees of the prohibition of replacing leave with monetary compensation (except for dismissal from work) allow the employee to exercise his right to annual paid leave without completing the six-month period of continuous work for the first year at the new employer, as well as to use these leaves, as a rule, before the end of the working year. The prohibition of not granting leave for 2 years in a row refers to the employer's obligation to grant leave to the employee during this period. The employee does not lose the right to use it, even if he/she did not ask for it. Payment of annual leave, including its compensation, should guarantee the employee the opportunity to enjoy the same economic benefits during rest as during working hours. A person cannot be deprived of the right to annual paid leave, regardless of the peculiarities of his/her legal status and the provisions of special legislation. Water-lubricated thrust bearing is a key component of certain main pump motor. In this paper, the right structure of water-lubricated thrust graphite bearings is designed based on low viscosity hydrodynamic lubrication theory by combining the bearings running working condition, and the frictional accessory material is also determined by theoretical analysis and test. The factors influencing lubrication performances of water-lubricated thrust bearings are analyzed; the methods improving lubrication performances are put forward to guarantee that water-lubricated thrust graphite bearings have the good lubrication performances, good carrying capacity and longer work life.

To analyze the stress state of seed cotton in the process of cotton ginning and to improve the quality of lint, a new model for cotton, the laminated cotton model, is presented based on the idea of a composite laminate. The model assumes the cotton mass is made up of a certain number of cotton fibers, each of which has a different arrangement angle. Based on this model, the ginning process is simulated using finite element analysis. The mechanical properties of a single cotton fiber that is either machine- or hand-picked are obtained. The working condition of the ginning process is described successfully. By analyzing the influence of different working conditions on the serration cotton ginning process, the simulation results show the model prediction is reasonably consistent with existing experiments. For example, to improve the productivity and quality of lint, it is important to guarantee the saw teeth are sharp and smooth, with none being crooked or inverted, and missing teeth on each saw blade should not exceed the specified value.

This paper is part of a larger study. It aims to analyze the concept of Quality of Life at Work(QLW) at IFRN campuses in Natal in comparison with campuses that show results with opposite tendencies, related to the most significant factors: working conditions, well-being and linkage between work and social life. This is a qualitative descriptive study and the open survey formis used as research instrument. The sample was composed of 774 participants. The working condition was the most significant factor in almost all analyzed macro-regions – with the exception of the new campuses, which had the well-being as the main factor. Regarding the working conditions factor, Natal Central Campus and Cidade Alta Campus show opposite tendencies, presenting aspects such as security and infrastructure in the first positions. In contrast to the central tendency, the well-being factor has as its main aspects the physical activity and nourishment – at EAD Campus, Zona Norte, Parnamirim and Reitoria. Concerning the linkage between work and social life, we emphasize the aspects motivation and balance between work and social life at campuses: EAD, Parnamirim, Zona Norte and Cidade Alta. In spite of the importance of a macro-diagnosis, it is crucial to analyze the data of each campus in order to guarantee the reliability of its peculiarities in the diagnostic of the concept of QLW at IFRN.

In manufacturing of air compressors, piston engines and guides, lubricants are used to result in formation of a continuous oil film that separates the friction surfaces. The continuity of this film within the entire operating range of the friction pair, from starting to steady state, is the guarantee of proper operation. The surface geometry of friction elements plays significant role in maintaining continuity of the oil film. The widely used method for obtaining proper surface condition of the structural components of piston systems is the honing process. This method consists of shaping the microgeometry of the surface of friction pair elements by material removal processing methods (turning, grinding, laser processing) to prevent rapid spreading of lubricant, and thus to prevent breaking of the oil film. In case of Al-MMCs using for manufacturing the parts of machines working under friction with lubrication conditions the shaping of their working surface by honing is limited by the machining efficiency. The investigations on surface geometry of elements made of composites including ceramic reinforcement revealed that presence of reinforcement particles on the working surface bring the changes which can be used for shaping the correct oil film. The investigations presented in this article can be used for evaluation of lubricant propagation process on the composite material surface.

With the increase of mine mining intensity, the scope of goaf continues to expand, a large amount of coal remains in goaf, and the spontaneous combustion fire of coal is particularly serious. In addition, the spontaneous combustion of coal under the condition of gas mining is not clear. At once, spontaneous combustion can induce gas explosion, resulting in the waste of manpower and material resources, bringing hidden dangers to the mine safety production. In order to prevent and control the fire caused by spontaneous combustion of left coal under the condition of gas mining, in this paper by means of laboratory test, field measurement, and numerical simulation, the law of spontaneous combustion of residual coal under gas mining is studied. The index gas of coal spontaneous combustion was determined by temperature-programmed experimental device. Secondly, the distribution of the stope working face, goaf, and O2 is discussed. It is of great significance to study the spontaneous combustion rule of three belts in goaf under acid leaching condition and then to discuss the best position of injection idling opening and put forward targeted precontrol measures, which is of great significance to guarantee the safety of mine production. The results show that CO begins to appear when the temperature rises to 40 °C, and its concentration increases exponentially with the increase of coal temperature, which can reflect the degree of coal oxidation in goaf. Therefore, CO should be selected as the indicator gas in the working face. Under the influence of negative drainage pressure, the dangerous area will be enlarged. The optimal drainage volume of high drainage roadway is 90 m3/min, and the optimal air intake volume of working face is 1400 m3/min. The area 0–34 m away from the working face is scattered zone, 34–135 m away is spontaneous combustion zone, and 135 m away is asphyxiation zone. When the position of the idler is 50 m behind the working face, the reduction of the oxidation zone is the largest.

In strip rolling, hydraulic automatic gauge control (HAGC) system is the key element to guarantee the precision of strip gauge. The stability of the kernel pressure closed loop (PCL) in the HAGC system plays an essential role in guaranteeing the rolling process with high performance. Nevertheless, there is some difficulty in exploring the instability mechanism of the HAGC system due to the fact that the PCL is a representative nonlinear closed-loop control system. In this work, for each component of the HAGC system, the mathematical model was established. And on the basis of the linking relation of various elements, we derived the incremental transfer model of the PCL system. Furthermore, in accordance with the deduced information transfer relation, the transfer block diagram of disturbing variable of the PCL system was obtained. Moreover, for the purpose of deriving the instability condition of the PCL system, the Popov frequency criterion was employed. The instability conditions of the HAGC system were obtained under PCL control. Furthermore, the derived instability conditions of the HAGC system were experimentally verified under various working conditions. The research results provide a fundamental foundation for studying the instability mechanism of the HAGC system.

The life prediction is crucial to guarantee the reliability and safety of the mechanical system. The current prediction methods predict the life only based on the historical usage pattern of the mechanical system, and do not consider the mission profile of the future working process. To realize the life prediction with considering the switching of mission profile, which is composed of different operating conditions, this paper proposes a new prediction scheme on the base of the similarity trajectory method (STM). Two main improvements are employed. First, the reference degradation models are constructed according to the predicted trend of each constant operating condition obtained by the relevance vector machine (RVM). Secondly, the life under specific mission profile is calculated through weighted aggregating the life of each constant operating condition. The proposed method is validated by a turbofan engine simulation data. The results show that the proposed method achieves an excellent predicted result, in which the predicted result is close to the actual result. In addition, the proposed method can deal with the problem of mission profile switching.

The worker representative system has been expanded as the subject of written agreement and hearing opinions in labor laws, including the Labor Standards Act. Workers' representatives are recognized as important in determining working conditions at workplaces in a situation where the limitations of the traditional working condition determination system are faced due to the low labor union organization rate and diversification of employment types. However, in fact, there are no legal protection regulations for the selection procedure, method, status and activity guarantee of worker representatives, so they are not functioning properly. On October 16, 2020, the Economic, Social & Labor Council announced the results of the Labor-Management Agreement on the Improvement of the Workers' Representation System, and on March 6, 2023, the government announced the legislation of a partial amendment to the Labor Standards Act related to the Workers' Representation System based on the Economic, Social & Labor Council. However, it cannot be said that the government's legislative amendment bill has sought legislative measures in line with the principle of equal working conditions, and legislative reorganization should be prepared to enable equal decisions by labor and management, including when there is no labor union in the workplace based on Article 32 (3) of the Constitution or in light of the basic ideology of equal working conditions in labor contracts. Considering the relationship with the labor union, it is not easy to achieve its legal intention properly without an agreement between labor and management and constant efforts by labor and management to realize the system as originally intended. It will be necessary to seek an institutional search to realize the principle of equal working conditions even under realistic constraints, and giving workers' representatives a role in writing and changing employment rules is also positive in that sense.

The corresponding prevention and control measures have been proposed and implemented, and good control effects have been achieved. These measures effectively guarantee the safe production of coal seam mining.

In real industrial scenarios, the working conditions of bearings are variable, and it is therefore difficult for data-driven diagnosis methods based on conventional machine-learning techniques to guarantee the desirable performance of diagnosis models, as the models assume that the distributions of both the training and testing data are the same. To enhance the performance of the fault diagnosis of bearings under different working conditions, a novel diagnosis framework inspired by feature extraction, transfer learning (TL), and feature dimensionality reduction is proposed in this work, and dual-tree complex wavelet packet transform (DTCWPT) is used for signal processing. Additionally, transferable sensitive feature selection by ReliefF and the sum of mean deviation (TSFSR) is proposed to reduce the redundant information of the original feature set, to select sensitive features for fault diagnosis, and to reduce the difference between the marginal distributions of the training and testing feature sets. Furthermore, a modified feature reduction method, the local maximum margin criterion (LMMC), is proposed to acquire low-dimensional mapping for high-dimensional feature spaces. Finally, bearing vibration signals collected from two test rigs are analyzed to demonstrate the adaptability, effectiveness, and practicability of the proposed diagnosis framework. The experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve high diagnosis accuracy and has significant potential benefits in industrial applications.

This scientific article addresses trans women and transvestites and their access to the labor market. For the equitable application of labor law, it is essential to guarantee decent working conditions, which include respect for labor legislation and a set of policies to protect especially vulnerable groups of the working population. In order to demonstrate the challenge of labor law in addressing contemporary issues, such as the one we bring up in the article, we will discuss the gaps in Brazilian legal structures to guarantee the rights of the trans population. The objective of the article is to provide a brief history of the role of women, focusing on transsexual and transvestite women, their relationship with the labor market, and the difficulties in accessing the right to equal opportunities and the right to social protection in labor, due to discrimination and prejudice based on gender. The methodology used was a descriptive and exploratory literature review, through an analysis of the laws protecting the LGBT population in Brazil, with a focus on transvestites and transgender women in the workplace, the applicability of fundamental rights, the analysis of supra-legal laws that guarantee universal rights, including International Resolutions, Treaties, ILO Conventions and initiatives for good government and business practices.

Retaining workers on micro-task crowdsourcing platforms is essential in order to guarantee the timely completion of batches of Human Intelligence Tasks (HITs). Worker retention is also a necessary condition for the introduction of SLAs on crowdsourcing platforms. In this paper, we introduce novel pricing schemes aimed at improving the retention rate of workers working on long batches of similar tasks. We show how increasing or decreasing the monetary reward over time influences the number of tasks a worker is willing to complete in a batch, as well as how it influences the overall latency. We compare our new pricing schemes against traditional pricing methods (e.g., constant reward for all the HITs in a batch) and empirically show how certain schemes effectively function as an incentive for workers to keep working longer on a given batch of HITs. Our experimental results show that the best pricing scheme in terms of worker retention is based on punctual bonuses paid whenever the workers reach predefined milestones.

Problem setting. In the transition to a market economy, social rights acquire a fundamentally new meaning, as they are designed to guarantee radical changes in the socio-economic situation of man as a participant in market relations. The Constitution of Ukraine reflects a wide range of social rights of a person and a citizen to work, leisure, social protection, health care, medical care, health insurance, family protection, childhood, motherhood and fatherhood, education, etc. One of the central and universally recognized in the system of social rights of citizens is the right to social protection, the requirement of which is embodied in international acts ratified by Ukraine. The right to social protection is guaranteed by the obligatory state social insurance at the expense of insurance contributions of citizens, enterprises, institutions and organizations, budgetary and other sources of social security, as well as the creation of a network of state, municipal and private institutions for the care of the disabled. Without these guarantees, this right becomes an intention (wish) in the relevant field, has no practical value either for the individual or for society as a whole. Analysis of recent researches and publications. Issues of social insurance were the subject of research by such scientists as V. M. Andriyiv, D. V. Bozhko, N. B. Bolotina, M.M. Klemparsky, O. L. Kuchma, K. Yu. Melnyk, O. V. Moskalenko, P. D. Pilipenko, S.M. Prilipko, V. I. Prokopenko, O. I. Protsevsky, S. M. Sinchuk, I. M. Orphan, B. I. Stashkov, O. V. Tishchenko, L. P. Shumna, M. M. Shumylo, O. M. Yaroshenko, and others. Target of research to consider compulsory state social insurance as a guarantee of the right of citizens to social protection due to accidents and occupational diseases at work. Article’s main body. The main guarantee of a person’s right to social protection due to accidents and occupational diseases at work is compulsory state social insurance. The task of social insurance against accidents at work and occupational diseases that have caused disability is to carry out preventive measures aimed at eliminating harmful, dangerous production factors; prevention of accidents at work, other cases of threat to the health of the insured, caused by working conditions; restoration of health and working capacity of victims at work; compensation for damage related to the loss of insured persons’ wages or the relevant part of it during the performance of their duties, provision of social services in connection with damage to health, as well as in the event of their death, making insurance payments to incapacitated members families. Confirmation of the central place of social insurance against accidents and occupational diseases at work in the system of guarantees of the right of citizens to social protection can serve as indicators of the cost of material support in this area. Conclusions and prospects for the development. As a result of studying the place and role of compulsory state social insurance in the system of guarantees of the right of citizens to social protection due to accidents and occupational diseases at work, we can state that the right to social protection is one of the central and universally recognized social human rights. Compulsory state social insurance is the main material guarantee of the realization of the right of citizens to social protection due to accidents and occupational diseases at work. Its main essence and purpose are to receive the insured person in the event of an insured event from the insurer of material support (temporary disability benefits, burial) and social services (payment for treatment in the rehabilitation departments of the sanatorium after illness and injury) at the expense of the insured.

The efficiency increasing of railway transport functioning is a main factor in the economic growth of the national economy. Material reserves are the main factor that defines the strategy of the enterprise and influences on the economic optimization level of logistic connections in general. Waste on deficiency and expense of storing the taken out from the main turnover material reserves redouble the economic situation. In this research the sources of the arising an uncertainty by taking a decision about economic optimization of logistic connections and working out methods of need determination in conditions of a certain uncertainty that will be led to improvement of the economic effectiveness of activity are determined. The best methods that may be used for this purpose are analysis of temporary series, multiple regression and correlation analysis, pattern recognition. The paper presents the results of research that allow, based on the built neuro-fuzzy model, to evaluate the dependence of macroeconomic indicators of the national economy of Ukraine on the indicators characterizing its economic situation in order to improve the control efficiency of logistics systems. The built neuro-fuzzy model, unlike existing models, allows reproducing the complex nonlinear dependences.

Local environment control system (LECS) has been widely used in many areas as the necessary guarantee for most precision instruments. A sealed air cooling constant temperature box with dual-chamber structure that can provide constant working condition for precision instruments in-vehicle was developed. According to the heat transfer analysis of the double plate-fins heatsink, the heat radiation area and dimensions were determined based on electrical analogy. The air flow rate and temperature distribution of the system in heat steady-state was simulated by CFD software, and the results are consistent with that of experimental test. In different conditions, the thermal test results indicate that when the heat flow rate in the inner chamber is about 170 W, the temperature difference between inner chamber and environment is no more than 6.5 °C. The thermal design and test methods can be as the reference for the design of other precision instruments in-vehicle.

The system which could be described as "trinity, seven subsystems" has realized automatic remote control of the machine working process with orientation, localization and formalization. At local place, it realized automatic position and pose online detection, automatic orientation tunneling, automatic section cutting and forming and adaptive control of cutting arm swaying speed. It was the first time that realized absolute measuring of roadheader frame position and pose error under coal mine working condition in our country which could avoid error accumulation in relative measuring and guarantee the high precision of orientation tunneling. In underground remote, it realized remote monitoring, wireless remote control and video surveillance, thus realized remote control with multiple angles, visualization and one-button control under the condition of dustiness and vibration. At any network access point on ground using mining ring network, it realized real-time monitoring and displaying of roadheader running state parameters, and realized the functions of remote fault diagnosis and alarming. The whole system has been tested many times underground. The application results show that it is stable and reliable. With the development of automation, intellectualization, and informatization and other high technology, this system will be more and more suitable for fully mechanized excavation face.

The relevance of the study is due to the importance of the quality, volume, accessibility, and guarantee of social support measures for the stabilization and development of physiological capital in people with disabilities of working age, as well as facilitating their employment, including in difficult socio-economic conditions, in particular, those caused by the pandemic and other significant negative factors. The aim of the study is to put forward proposals for improving the mechanism for restoring physiological capital in disabled people capable of working and facilitating their employment. The scientific novelty consists in focusing on the absence of important components in the mechanisms, tools and structures currently used in state federal and regional programs, including in regulatory documents that facilitate the employment opportunities for disabled people. The research methods include analysis, systematization, structuring, and organizational modeling of the management process in facilitating employment for people with disabilities. The subject of the research is the period of validity of the guarantee and the scope of measures in rehabilitation, in social, labor and organizational-legal relations provided for in national and regional projects. The research tasks are to analyze the data of official statistics of recent years, reflecting the employment of people with disabilities of working age, including publicly available scientific and journalistic publications on the topic and correlating with them. The object of the study is the mechanisms for rehabilitation and facilitation of employment for disabled people. The author concludes that it is to revise existing state programs in facilitating employment opportunities for people with disabilities on the basis of integrated areas, such as “labor rehabilitation of people with disabilities”, approval of the “All-Russian guaranteed standard (regulation) of rehabilitation services for people with disabilities of working age for the nosological approach ". The component “physiological capital” is singled out as a fundamental basis for the development of human capital and the author’s definition of this term is presented. The author substantiates the creation of the “Employment Agency for Disabled People” and the “Personal Interactive Roadmap for the Employment of Disabled People” in the structure of regional employment services. Accordingly, the proposed approaches will help step-by-step and targeted assistance in providing comprehensive rehabilitation of people with disabilities in an actively developing labor market.

The electrostatic precipitator system of the lignite fired 350 MWe unit B1 of Thermal Power Plant Kostolac B has been modernized during 2014. The results of complex in site measurements, performed in the frame of performance control test at the beginning of the exploitation period of the upgraded electrostatic precipitator proved that, under normal and guarantee working conditions of the boiler and precipitator, the emission of particulate matter do not exceed limiting value. After the period of precipitator further adjustments, five series of measurements in the frame of acceptance test were performed in accordance with relevant standards. This paper presents results of the investigation of particulate matter concentration, laboratory analysis of the lignite, fly and bottom ash samples, working parameters of the unit and upgraded electrostatic precipitator as well as results of the calculations. The averaged mean particulate concentration at the exit of upgraded electrostatic precipitator of the unit B1 during Acceptance test was below guaranteed value. It is confirmed that adjustments of electrostatic precipitator electrical parameters have improved electrostatic precipitator efficiency, as well that electrostatic precipitator could work highly efficiently in energy save mode with lower power consumption.

Abstract In response to a series of problems in the actual use of a certain type of tank fire control system and autoloader, such as many sudden failures, difficulties in diagnosing and locating failures, and complex maintenance and guarantee, a testing equipment is designed for the gun control box and autoloader, which is used to monitor the status of the gun control box and autoloader, and store the test data in real time. By comparing the test data and analysing the abnormal problems that occur in the work of the gun control box and the autoloader, it realises the monitoring of the working condition of the tank gun control box and the autoloader components, providing effective data support for the next step of repair.

This paper presents the idea of the Job Guarantee (JG), which is a logical extension of the paradigm of a tax-driven fiat currency. The JG involves the government offering a public purpose-oriented job with a fixed hourly wage and job benefits to anyone willing to work. The JG as a bottom-up approach is locally administered but federally funded. As the analytical lens of MMT reveals, a monetarily sovereign government is always able to provide the spending required. Macroeconomically, the JG works as an automatic countercyclical stabilizer and an excellent tool for aggregated demand management, ensuring the economy is continuously operating at full capacity. On top, the JG uses an employed buffer stock approach as a superior means to maintain price stability. Next to its favourable macroeconomic impacts, the JG offers many social benefits, particularly related to continuous employment, working conditions in the private sector, power relations in the labour market and democracy. While the JG and Universal Basic Income (UBI) are often discussed as comparable, competing policy proposals, the JG addresses more macroeconomic and social issues than the UBI does. This paper concludes that the JG qualifies for being the single most effective policy in order to drive the economy towards continuous full employment and price stability while realizing additional social benefits.

Article 43 of the Constitution of Ukraine guarantees proper, safe and healthy working conditions for every employee, according to Article 13 of the Law “On Labor Protection” the employer must ensure the functioning of the labor protection management system. Accordingly, the Concept approved by the Order of the Ministry of Labor dated 22.10. No. 432 of 2001, every enterprise, institution or organization (hereinafter – the enterprise) of any form of ownership, which uses the labor of employees in its activities, is obliged to comply with the necessary requirements established by the legislation of Ukraine, in order to guarantee the safety of work and the preservation of life, health and working capacity of employees in the process of work. In order to ensure healthy, safe and highly productive working conditions, improve working life, prevent injuries and occupational diseases, the company operates a health and safety management system, which is an integral part of the management system of the business entity. The occupational health and safety management system (OH&S) is a set of enterprise management bodies that, on the basis of a set of regulatory documentation, carry out purposeful, planned activities regarding the implementation of management tasks and functions in order to ensure healthy, safe and highly productive working conditions.To build an effective occupational safety management system, it is necessary to choose its optimal model. A scientific and applied problem is the choice of the most suitable system in the conditions of a particular enterprise. An analysis of the approaches available in international practice regarding the formation of health and safety management system models, taking into account quality management systems, environmental protection and social responsibility, was carried out. Recommendations aregiven for choosing a basic methodological approach that will contribute to the creation of an effective labor safety management system with the aim of ensuring safe and highly productive working conditions and creating a positive image of the enterprise.

The article explores the modern phenomenon of telecommuting and focuses on the rights of employees who perform their work duties outside the traditional workplace. In today’s conditions of globalization and digitization of the economy, more and more employees are interested in remote work mode. This trend is due to both the need to adapt to new working conditions and the desire to ensure flexibility in the performance of work duties. However, despite the growing popularity of remote work, the issue of the rights of remote workers in Ukraine remains insufficiently researched. This article is devoted to the overview and characteristics of the main rights of teleworkers as a guarantee of the unhindered performance of the labor function. The author analyzes the main legislative acts that secure the rights of remote workers, in particular in the context of Ukrainian labor legislation, as well as the Model Labor Contract on remote work, and highlights the key rights that ensure the unhindered performance of the labor function. Special attention is paid to the issue of choosing a workplace together with by comparison with another type of atypical employment – homework; organization of working hours, material and technical support, as well as general employee rights, such as the employee’s right to paid annual leave, wages, the right to provide social guarantees and mandatory social insurance, to be a party to social dialogue, etc. The author also considered the set of rights of a teleworker, which is provided for in a standard telework contract. The article emphasizes the importance of ensuring the rights of teleworkers in order to create an effective, fair working environment and integrate into it an employee who works under an employment contract for telework. The article will be useful for remote workers who want to familiarize themselves with their rights and obligations; employers who seek to organize the effective work of remote teams; lawyers specializing in labor law; civil servants who are engaged in the development of legislation in the field of legal regulation of remote work in Ukraine.
