Masson, Catherine. "Le cardinal Liénart, évêque de Lille (1928-1968) : un grand pasteur". Lille 3, 1997. http://www.theses.fr/1997LIL30006.
Texto completoIn accordance with the dynamic pastoral tendancy initiated by the pope Pie XI, cardinal Liénart endeavoured to be a missionary. Social catholicism, christian trade-unionism and catholic action were some of the key terms of his episcopate (1928-1968). Regarded as a model pastor of his time, cardinal Liénart reniaided throughout the 40 years of his Lille episcopate a man of dialogue and beliefs, devoted to the options he took and concerned among other things about reaching the dechristianised masses and above all the working class. He gave rise to much initiative aiming to develop the action of the church and more particularly the specialised catholic action. He enjoyed considerable popularity among his diocesans which it seems did not affect the ambiguous attitude he adopted during the occupation. Despite being conscious of some of the divergences of the church during the fifties and sixties he did not fully appreciate the influence that certain ideologies and in particular marxism had on numerous priests and militants. The responsability he felt regarding worker priests and the fall support he gave them sorrowfully revealed certain dysfunctions in the church. This critical period played a considerate part in instigating his profond study of the role of bishops and of the collegial episcopal structure which the council later went on to confirm. The lillois aspect of cardinal Liénart's episcopate never hid the universal dimension that he gave his vocation as a bishop and that he revealed in the interest he took in the young churches and the active part he played in the Vatican II council. An interesting, loveable and sometimes disconcerting character, rooted in a deep faith perpetually strengthened by his meditation of the holy scripture, cardinal Liénart was above all a great pastor
Brunet, Hélène. "Le Grand Séminaire de Toulouse au XIXème siecle : du Concordat à la séparation de l'Église et de l'État". Toulouse 1, 1997. http://www.theses.fr/1997TOU10067.
Texto completoThe Concordat gives to French bishops an opportunity to set up in their diocese specialised institutions for young men aspiring to become priest. Great seminaries are organised by law. The creation and administration of these public ecclesiastical establishments are directly subject to the authority of the state. By their particular nautre, they are intimately tied to church life, and strictly depend on its hierarchy: bishops, archbishops, and the Holy See. More than a quarter of seminaries during the era of the Concordat are entrusted to a congregation which specialises in the instruction of priests:"la compagnie des prêtres de Saint-Sulpice". This includes the seminary in Toulouse, which allows a person, through studying, to develop a general idea of the way in which priest were instructed in the last century. It also presents a description of the institutions in which this instruction was carried out. In this frame of mind, a variety of questions have been taken into consideration. They of course examine the legal and administrative aspects of the great seminary in Toulouse, but also all the aspects tied to the teaching which took place inside its walls, as well as the people who lived there. These different approaches allow one to discover an institution from nineteenth century France which is almost unknown, and to seize the vitality that existed there

Texto completoThe chosen subject is situated between the religious history, the cultural and social history, studying the history of the relations and the international cultural exchanges. In our research, we suggest to make a monographic study so that the high seminary of Cameroon, Otélé (1949-1968), fur away from Yaounde by about sixty kilometres, would be an observatory to study through the vocational training of the future priests, the transition from a missionary Church to the emergence of a national "African" Church. So, the chosen period allows us to understand the distances, even the denials of the missionary inheritance that had recreated a western model in order to favour the African implanting, both in the recruitment of the trainers and by the invention of new pastoral theologies. Two main questionings underlie our research. The first one concerns the training of the Cameroonian seminarists by foreigners, at first the Benedictines (1949-1963), then the Jesuits (1963-1968), before it was partially insured by natives. The second one is on acculturation. How did the candidates for the priesthood appreciate the educational approach, the cultural transfer from the monastic methods to a more diocesan spirit? This question brought us to discuss on difficulties of religious assimilation and the cleavage between formatives who were regular priests and future secular priests with divergent objectives. The first ones obey the rule of a monastic order and the second ones conscript to live in parish and among the laymen. At the same time, the emphasis was put on the evolutions and the changes during this period influenced by the decolonization and the independence of Cameroon. It concerns the Benedictine era, and by the Vatican II council including the Jesuit management, which facilitated the forming of the "inculturation", a way for the seminarists to reconquer and reaffirm their cultural identity

The aim of this report is to explain the realization of the internship, the organization of the Hotel and in this sense, forward the achievement of new knowledge and development of skills during the internship. This internship passed through the Sales department. The objective of this work is to describe all the activities realized during the internship, as to respond to an obligation to obtain my master’s degree. I will study the tourist business which is associated to the events, that allows to develop all sectors of hospitality. A study with the hotel clients was made, such as a study of the hotel son that I could know how to develop events.
