Research begins with the development of computer technology in particular has been used as a medium of learning Packaging Design Using CorelDraw programs in various fields of one form of education in the field of Fine Arts Visual Communication Design Study Program. This requires education student majoring in Fine Arts Communication Design Visual Languages and Arts Faculty, State University of Padang to be able to utilize these technologies in the field of Packaging Design, as computer technology has become a necessity for people, especially in the field of product design food packaging and logo design, research this development method, which is to design and make a product logo and packaging design as well as media advertising, then tested the feasibility of the students of Communication Design Visual Arts UNP Padang. Design and manufacture of this learning module using the CorelDraw X4 software. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire given to faculty and student responses to the questionnaire module packaging design. Questionnaires were made regarding the form, content, motivation and practical learning modules, questionnaire data were analyzed using the SPSS formula. From these results, the learning module packaging design in graphic design courses is valid.

<div class="WordSection1"><p class="AfiliasiCxSpFirst">Buku panduan praktikum berbasis <em>software open source R</em> dipandang penting pada program studi yang masih baru dan memiliki mata kuliah praktikum. Salah satu mata kuliah praktikum pada Program Studi Tadris Matematika FTIK IAIN Purwokerto adalah Praktikum Aplikasi Statistik Pendidikan. Proses penyelenggaraan pembelajaran mata kuliah tersebut memerlukan laboratorium komputer lengkap dengan perangkat lunak atau <em>software</em> dan buku panduan praktikum untuk mendukung kelancaran pelaksanaannya. Penggunaan <em>software</em> <em>open source</em><em> R</em> tidak memerlukan biaya lisensi dan memiliki kelebihan berupa fasilitas grafik yang relatif baik, bahasa berbasis analisis matriks, <em>general</em>, <em>portability</em>, <em>multiplatforms</em>, dan <em>programmable</em>. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model <em>Borg and Gall</em> yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Buku Panduan Praktikum pada Mata Kuliah Praktikum Aplikasi Statistik Pendidikan yang valid menurut ahli media, ahli materi, dan dosen pengampu. Praktis menurut respon mahasiswa dan efektif digunakan dalam praktikum Aplikasi Statistik Pendidikan ditinjau dari hasil belajar mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumen berupa buku panduan praktikum. Responden penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester 4 (empat) yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah Praktikum Aplikasi Statistik Pendidikan sebanyak 58 mahasiswa. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif berupa persentase dan nilai rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Buku Panduan Praktikum Berbasis <em>Software R</em> sangat valid ditinjau dari kelayakan menurut ahli media , ahli materi, dan respon dosen pengampu mata kuliah Praktikum Aplikasi Statistik Pendidikan dengan persentase rata-rata kelayakan sebesar 87,05 %. Sangat praktis berdasarkan respon mahasiswa yaitu sebesar 91,50 % dan efektif ditinjau dari hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Praktikum Aplikasi Statistik Pendidikan dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 77,50.</p><p class="Afiliasi"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>A practical guidebook based on Software Open Source R is considered important for a new study program with a practical module. One of the practical modules in the Tadris Matematika study program of FITK IAIN Purwokerto is the practical module of Education Statistics. The process of delivering this module requires a computer laboratory with software and practical manuals to support the smooth implementation of this module. The use of open-source R software does not require a license fee and has the advantages of relatively good graphics facilities, a matrix analysis-based language, generality, portability, multi-platforms, and programmable. This development study uses the Borg and Gall model which aims to develop a Practical Handbook on Practical Educational Statistics Application Courses that are valid according to media experts, material experts, and supporting lecturers. Practical according to student responses and effectively used in the Education Statistics Application practicum in terms of student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, learning outcomes tests, and documents in the form of a practical handbook. Research respondents include the 4th (fourth) semester students who are taking the Education Statistics Application Practicum course as many as 58 students. Data analysis used descriptive statistics in the form of percentages and average values. The results showed that the Software R-Based Practical Handbook was very valid in terms of feasibility according to media experts, material experts, and the responses of the lecturers in charge of the Education Statistics Application module with an average percentage of eligibility of 87.05%. This result is very practical based on student responses, which is 91.50%, and effective in terms of student learning outcomes in the Educational Statistics Application module with an average value of 77.50. </em></p></div>

Penggunaan bahasa pemrograman merupakan salah satu dari penerapan kemudahan teknologi, melalui pemrosesan, pengolah, serta analisis data ,berupa output data yang jelas dan akurat secara cepat dan relevan. Bahasa program R dinilai cukup baik sebagai alat simulasi model, baik melalui kemampuan kalkulasi dan manipulasi data, maupun pada kemampuan peragaan grafik dan visualisasi data. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengetahui tahapan pengolahan data arus menggunakan bahasa program R. Keunggulan bahasa pemrograman tersebut ialah bersifat open source dan dapat digunakan untuk mengolah big data. Pengambilan data arus menggunakan instrumen Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) dilakukan secara insitu menggunakan metode eulerian. Perekaman data dilakukan selama 3 hari di kawasan Perairan Pademawu, Pamekasan, Madura. Data diolah menggunakan bahasa pemrograman R versi 4.1.2. dengan memanfaatkan software R-Studio. Pengolahan data tersebut akan menghasilkan grafik dan stick plot arah dan kecepatan komponen arus U (Timur-Barat) dan V (Selatan-Utara). Visualisasi tersebut menginterpretasikan karakteristik arus di lokasi penelitian. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini ialah tahapan pengolahan data arus menggunakan bahasa program R diantaranya yaitu pre-pengolahan data, pengolahan data, dan post-pengolahan data. Pada tahapan post-processing data, dihasilkan 442 records dan 21 variable dataset sebagai bahan visualisasi stick plot dan grafik garis U-V yang dapat menginterpretasikan karakteristik arus laut di kawasan penelitian. Data recording was carried out for 3 days in the Pademawu Waters, Pamekasan, Madura. Data is processed using the R programming language version 4.1.2. it is using R-Studio software. Processing the data will produce graphs and stick plots of the direction and velocity of the U (East-West) and V (South-North) current components. The visualization interprets the characteristics of the currents at the research location. This study concludes that the stages of processing data flow using the R programming language include data pre-processing, data processing, and post-data processing. At the data post-processing stage, 442 records and 21 dataset variables were produced as visualization materials for stick plots and U - V line graphs that can interpret the characteristics of ocean currents in the research area.

A model program for language/concept enrichment was set up with 22 kindergarten students as participants. A total screening score during routine kindergarten screenings relative to the areas of articulation, language and concepts was low for each of these students, but not low enough to recommend indepth diagnostic testing. The objective of the program was to demonstrate the role of the speech-language pathologist as consultant, an alternate service delivery model for public school speech-language services. Language/concept enrichment was provided by volunteers using four educational software programs for the microcomputer. Concepts taught included quantity, quality, time/sequence, nouns, and verbs. Program structure, implementation, and evaluation are discussed.

Two instructional strategies were implemented in a two-and-a-half hour computer-based training program that was designed to teach elementary turtle graphics programming techniques to novice undergraduate students ( N = 40). Learning activities that either emphasized the completion of existing programs or the generation of new programs were studied for the two strategies. In the completion group, the information needed to perform the program completion tasks appeared to be largely available in the to-be-completed programs; in the generation group, students frequently had to search for useful examples while they were performing their program generation tasks. It is hypothesized that during practice, the direct availability of examples in the form of incomplete computer programs facilitates the acquisition of programming language templates, especially because students cannot complete a program without carefully studying it so that “mindful abstraction” is explicitly provoked. Data in this study on learning outcomes support this hypothesis: the completion group showed a superior use of programming language templates in both a program construction test and a multiple choice test that measured the knowledge of language statements.

Resumen
We address the problem of scene-aware activity program generation, which requires decomposing a given activity task into instructions that can be sequentially performed within a target scene to complete the activity. While existing methods have shown the ability to generate rational or executable programs, generating programs with both high rationality and executability still remains a challenge. Hence, we propose a novel method where the key idea is to explicitly combine the language rationality of a powerful language model with dynamic perception of the target scene where instructions are executed, to generate programs with high rationality and executability. Our method iteratively generates instructions for the activity program. Specifically, a two-branch feature encoder operates on a language-based and graph-based representation of the current generation progress to extract language features and scene graph features, respectively. These features are then used by a predictor to generate the next instruction in the program. Subsequently, another module performs the predicted action and updates the scene for perception in the next iteration. Extensive evaluations are conducted on the VirtualHome-Env dataset, showing the advantages of our method over previous work. Key algorithmic designs are validated through ablation studies, and results on other types of inputs are also presented to show the generalizability of our method.

In second language teaching a great deal of attention is paid to the learning of communicative skills. The computer program PRESTIGE (Productive and Receptive English, a Smart Tutor and Intelligent Generator of Exercises) subscribes to the views currently held in communicative language teaching. Among these are learning the meaning of a word through deduction of the word's meaning from contexts, and emphasizing the use of productive language. The computer program PRESTIGE, written in PROLOG, consists of several parts: A parser, which checks if syntax, spelling and inflection of pupils' input sentences, words, and verbs are correct. The parser is the heart of the program, and is capable of analysing most English sentence structures which are used in the first years of secondary education. A database of descriptions of words and context sentences in everyday English (taken from Collins COBUBLD English Language Dictionary). Both databases can be consulted by the pupil at any moment and thus constitute an extensive help facility. A database of texts. These texts are taken from a method called "Notting Hill Gate" (Malmberg). A generator of exercises. The program is able to generate exercises for both receptive and productive language use. Receptive: a story fragment is selected from the database. For every word, pupils can ask for a description (in English) or for a context sentence in which the word is used. Productive: several different exercises can be generated. They vary from cloze texts: the parser leaves out words that belong to a certain grammatical class (adjectives, prepostions, etc.), to free language productions: writing a composition. Furthermore, exercises can be generated in which interrogative or negative sentences have to be made. When the pupil is writing a composition, the parser checks whether the sentences are grammatically correct. Here as well, all help options from the databases are available. Pupil registration. For every pupil the program keeps track of the words that (s)he has studied, what kind of help (s)he has asked for, and what the results of the exercises are. The advantage of PRESTIGE over existing courseware for second language teaching is the open structure of the program, which makes free input of language possible. In the article the possibilities of the parser are shown and illustrated by examples. The article concludes with a discussion of the uses of PRESTIGE as an intelligent generator of exercises, and some plans for further research.

Tenga kerja merupakan salah satu faktor produksi yang mempunya peranan paling penting serta sebagai subjek dalam proses produksi guna menghasilkan barang dan jasa yang menjadi kebutuhan masyarakat dalam kegiatan ekonomi. Oleh karena itu, untuk menjamin kesejahteraan bagi tenaga kerja diperlukan adanya program jaminan sosial. Dalam hal ini peranan pemerintah sangat penting untuk menjalankan program jaminan sosial tenaga kerja yang diselenggarakan oleh Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Pangkal Pinang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui trend perkembangan kepesertaan Program BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Pangkal Pinang tahun 2013-2018 beserta manfaat apa saja yang diterima tenaga kerja/masyarakat sebagai peserta BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder untuk menghitung persentase trend data tersebut, peneliti menggunakan Model Grafik dan Percentage dalam metode anlisis deskriptif dengan bantuan computer Microsoft Excel 2013. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti menunjukkan bahwa pada pada prinsipnya program jaminan sosial ketenagakerjaan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi keselamatan dan kesejahteraan pekerja dalam bekerja. Analisis lainnya menjelaskan bahwa secara keseluruhannya jumlah kepesertaan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Pangkal Pinang mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan dibandingkan pada tahun dasar 2013 tetapi pada dasarnya trend kepesertaan mengalami fluktuasi yang disebabkan oleh berbagai macam faktor. Hal ini terlihat dari pada tahun 2015 persentase kepesertaan secara umum dari berbagai program mengalami penurunan drastis daripada tahun 2014.

CARI is a computer assisted reading instruction program that was designed by two English Language teachers for the purpose of providing supplementary and relevant material for their students in three subskill areas. The program was written for intermediate level adults learning English in a business environment. The reading subskills include skimming, scanning and guessing. The paper describes in detail the content and structure of the program and outlines the steps involved in its development. Following the description are comments and suggestions for teachers on how to evaluate effective courseware.

Abstract The current paper explores whether a Dynamic Usage Based (DUB) approach – which takes authentic meaningful language use with repetition and scaffolding for comprehension as its basis – can also be implemented in a CALL environment. The effectiveness of the DUB-CALL program was tested in a semester-long experiment, comparing it with a teacher-fronted DUB program (using the same materials as the CALL program) and a traditional CLT program; 228 university undergraduates in Sri Lanka participated. Language gains were assessed in a pre-post design with an objective General English Proficiency (GEP) test and a writing task. The results show that the students in the DUB-CALL condition performed significantly better on the GEP test than the students in the two teacher-fronted classes. The results of the writing tests show that all groups improved significantly, but here there were no differences among groups.

A computer-assisted language intervention program called Fast ForWord® (Scientific Learning Corporation, 1998) has received a great deal of attention at professional meetings and in the popular media. Newspaper and magazine articles about this program contain statements like, "On average, after only 6 to 7 weeks of training, language-learning impaired children ages 4 to 12 showed improvement of more than one and a half years in speech processing and language ability." (Scientific Learning Corporation, 1997). Are the claims that are being made about this intervention approach just a matter of product promotion, or is this really a scientifically proven remedy for language-learning impairments? This article critiques the theoretical basis of Fast ForWord®, the documented treatment outcomes, and the clinical methods associated with the procedure. Fifteen cautionary statements are provided that clinicians may want to consider before they recommend Fast ForWord® intervention for the children they serve.

Purpose Although language sample analysis is widely recommended for assessing children's expressive language, few school-based speech-language pathologists routinely use it, citing a lack of time, resources, and training ( Pavelko, Owens, Ireland, & Hahs-Vaughn, 2016 ). The purpose of this clinical tutorial is (a) to describe options for language sample analysis using computer programs and (b) to demonstrate a process of using language sample analysis focused on the assessment of 2 preschool children as case studies. Method We provide an overview of collecting and analyzing child language samples and describe 3 programs for language sample analysis: 2 dedicated software programs (Computerized Language Analysis [ MacWhinney, 2000 ] and Systematic Analysis of Language Transcripts [ Miller & Iglesias, 2015 ]) and 1 protocol for using word processing software to analyze language samples (Sampling Utterances and Grammatical Analysis Revised; Pavelko & Owens, 2017 ). We also present analysis results from each program for play-based language samples from 2 preschool children and detailed analysis of the samples with potential treatment goals. Results Each program offers different analyses, comparison databases, and sampling contexts. We present options for additional analysis, clinical interpretations, and potential treatment goals based on the 2 preschool cases. Conclusion Clinicians can use computer programs for language sample analysis as part of a process to make naturalistic language assessment more feasible. This paper presents the declarative and procedural semantics of Reflective Prolog, a new logic language able to represent metaknowledge and use it in the proof process via an extended resolution procedure including forms of implicit reflection. The declarative semantics of a Reflective Prolog definite program is provided in terms of the Least Reflective Herbrand Model of the program, characterized by means of a suitable mapping. The extended resolution is then shown to be sound and complete with respect to the Least Reflective Herband Model.

Programmers are often forced to implement performance-critical applications at a low abstraction level. This leads to programs that are hard to develop and maintain because the program text is mixed with low level optimization tricks and is far from the algorithm it implements. Even if compilers are smart nowadays and provide the user with many automatically applied optimizations, practice shows that in some cases it is hopeless to optimize the program automatically without the programmer?s knowledge. A complementary approach is to allow the programmer to fine tune the program by providing him with language features that make the optimization easier. These are language abstractions that make optimization techniques explicit without adding too much syntactic noise to the program text. This paper presents such language abstractions for two well-known optimizations: bitvectors and SIMD (Single Instruction Multiple Data). The language features are implemented in the embedded domain specific language Feldspar which is specifically tailored for digital signal processing applications. While we present these language elements as part of Feldspar, the ideas behind them are general enough to be applied in other language definition projects as well.

The C program is transformed into the cP language performing macros unfolding, structure changes, and elimination of pointers. Transformed program is translated into the WhyML functional language. For the received program, a specification is constructed. Deductive verification is carried out in the tool Why3.

Methods Four steps were taken: texts collection, evaluation, classification, and computer program implementation. Results Approximately 2,000 information texts were listed by grade bands from the 1st grade to 8th grade. Conclusions Computer program allows users to search and utilize texts for their own purposes. Users can also analyze new texts.
