Resumen
Despite the continued popularity of Games Centred Approaches with tertiary level academics, the take-up by practitioners has been limited. In a recent survey of entry level HPE students undertaken at our university, 95% reported that they had received a predominantly traditional experience in school physical education lessons. This finding is in line with a common response when we engage with practitioners who strongly advocate the need for games players to learn the basics before they can play a game. In this paper we will present concepts and practical exemplars demonstrating a Constraint-Led Approach (CLA) to games teaching and coaching. We will show that adopting a CLA has the potential to provide practitioners with the tools to address this significant barrier and potentially enhance the adoption of games-based approaches. We will argue that the technique-tactics dichotomy is a redundant framework as the intentions and actions of learners is a function of their current action capabilities. However, we will also propose that games-based practitioners need to develop pedagogical practices that initially develop intra-individual-environment co-ordination before moving onto a more traditional focus on inter-individual-environment co-ordination (i.e., how teams organise to solve games-based problems). A key focus will be on the need to consider the mutuality of the individual and the environment and how backyard games allied to CLA methods can help practitioners design better games based programmes that will meet the needs of all games players irrespective of age or ability level.

Resumen
The aim was to identify the impact of the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in the teaching of histology. This is an integrative literature review, qualitative and descriptive. We performed the search on October 2021, using the Virtual Health Library (VHL), Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), Pubmed, and Science Direct as electronic databases. As a search strategy, the following descriptors in English and Portuguese were used: (“Information technology” AND “Histology”); (“Information technology” AND “Histology” AND “teaching”); (“Information and communication technology” AND “histology”). Original articles that answered the guiding question, in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, published between 2016 and 2021, were included. Four thousand one hundred and fifty-seven (4,157) articles were retrieved, and only seven were selected as eligible for the research. The ICTs present in the sample were Virtual Learning Environments (VLE), with Blackboard and Moodle platforms; Virtual Microscopy; and Digital Games, through the virtual game Kahoot!. The analysis of the data got shows that the impact of ICTs is positive and relevant for academic development, as they enable an interactive environment, capable of being accessed frequently and from different places, besides reinforcing the learning developed in a face-to-face environment. However, instability in the operating system, problems related to connectivity, or even the lack of access of some students to the internet network were perceived as challenges in using ICTs.

Resumen
BACKGROUND Internet addiction (IA) is prone to be experienced by students and has become a major health concern. However, data on IA among allied health students are limited. This study aimed to describe the prevalence of IA and the association between mental health problems and IA among allied health students in Malaysia. METHODS A cross-sectional study was conducted from July to December 2021 in three government-funded allied health training institutes in Malaysia. A total of 265 allied health students undertaking a diploma in nursing, medical assistant training, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and diagnostic imaging were recruited using stratified random sampling. The Malay version of the IA test was used to measure IA, while depression, anxiety and stress scale-21 items were used to assess their mental health problems. A general linear model was used to analyze the association between IA scores and mental health problems. RESULTS The prevalence of IA among allied health students was more than 80%, with 16.2% and 2.3% of them reporting moderate and severe IA, respectively. Higher depression (p<0.001), anxiety (p<0.001), and stress scores (p = 0.002) were associated with higher IA scores. CONCLUSIONS There were significant associations between mental health problems and IA scores among allied health students. Future studies with rigorous scientific methods are necessary to explore mental health effects on IA. Early intervention is also needed to prevent mental health problems among allied health students to overcome the problem of IA.

Resumen
Today's youth are the hope of the future. They are the real spirit of future agriculture. Young people not only look for their own livelihood, but also for respect and purpose in life. It is a well-known fact that only few young people engage in agriculture, although majority of rural youth have the energy and enthusiasm to do well in agri and allied jobs. In this context, it is worthwhile to know the reason for low participation i.e, problems faced by youth in agriculture and allied activities and their suggestions. Keeping this in mind, a research study was conducted in Warangal district of Telangana state with a sample size of 120 youth selected using a simple random sampling procedure. The data was collected from primary sources with structured interview schedule. The study employed descriptive statistics and garret ranking method to analyse the data. The study indicated that majority of the youth faced the problem of scarcity of labour, lack of irrigation facilities, fear of drudgery in agriculture and allied activities and suggested for timely supply of necessary inputs (93.3%), timely provision of subsidy/credit, mechanization in agricultural sector

Concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere is increasing due to all growing anthropogenous emissions. It influences the climate more and more strongly. Economic approaches should improve economic efficiency of investments. Gradual increase of the carbon tax regulates distribution of the rights of generations to emissions of greenhouse gases. The market of carbon dioxide, in which Russia plays one of the basic roles, begins to form in Europe. The statutory acts regulating emissions and absorption of greenhouse gases should be accepted in Russia.

Resumen
U.S. allies that are fighting al-Qaida-linked insurgencies often suffer illegitimate regimes, civil-military tension manifested by fears of a coup, economic backwardness, and discriminatory societies. These problems, coupled with allies' divergent interests, serve to weaken allied military and security forces tactically, operationally, and strategically. The ability of the United States to change its allies' behavior is limited, despite the tremendous difficulties these problems create, because relying on allied forces is a key component of U.S. strategy in the war on terrorism and the U.S. goal of handing off security to Iraqi military forces. To reduce the effects of allies' weaknesses, the United States should try to increase its intelligence on allied security forces and at times act more like a third party to a conflict. In addition, Washington must have realistic expectations of what training and other efforts can accomplish.

Resumen
Purpose. Ensuring reliable operation of heating heat-generating devices with recirculation and exhaust gas heat recovery. Methodology. The normative methods of thermal calculation for surface heat exchange devices and the software according to the requirements of regulatory methods for this type of equipment for processing the results of our own experimental studies on heat exchange during deep cooling of combustion products of gas-consuming boilers were used. Findings. Calculation studies on the thermal operation modes during the heating period under the conditions of recirculation and heat recovery of flue gases of gas-fired water-heating boiler plants not equipped with air heaters were carried out. The main characteristics were determined of the thermal and humidity operation state for the air-supply ducts of these installations under the conditions of recirculation of flue gases’ part into the blown air. Regularities of temperature and dew point changes in the mixture of admixed gases and air under the conditions of using traditional heat recovery technologies and without them in different boiler modes and with different parts of recirculated gases were established. Problems of ensuring the operability and reliability of such boiler plants are highlighted. It is shown that these problems are related to condensate formation on the internal surfaces of air ducts and their freezing in some operating modes during in the cold period of the heating season. It is also shown that an effective solution to existing problems can be the use of air heaters in heat recovery systems to preheat the blown air before its mixing with recirculation gases. Originality. For the first time, the thermal and humidity operation modes of the air-supply ducts of heating boiler plants with increased environmental efficiency, which is ensured by boiler exhaust gases recirculation into the blown air, have been investigated. Practical value. The obtained research results will be used in the design of systems of recirculation and heat recovery of heat-generating devices’ exhaust gases to improve their environmental and thermal efficiency.

Resumen
With the goal of intensifying turbulent free convection from heated vertical plates to cold gases, five binary gas mixtures are examined in this technical note. Helium (He) is chosen as the principal gas while xenon (Xe), nitrogen (N2), oxygen (O2), carbon dioxide (CO2), and methane (CH4) are the companion gases. From thermal physics, the thermophysical properties affecting turbulent free convection of binary gas mixtures are the viscosity μmix, the thermal conductivity λmix, the density ρmix, and the heat capacity at constant pressure Cp,mix. Invoking the similarity variable transformation, the system of two nonlinear differential equations is solved numerically by the shooting method and a fourth-order Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg algorithm. From the numerical temperature fields, the allied mean convection coefficients h¯mix∕B changing with the molar gas composition w in the w domain [0, 1] are plotted in congruous diagrams for the five binary gas mixtures under study.

Resumen
Many condensation problems involving noncondensable gases have multiple noncondensable species, for example, air (with nitrogen, oxygen, and other gases); and other problems where light gases like hydrogen may mix with heavier gases like nitrogen. Particularly when the binary mass diffusion coefficients of the noncondensable species are substantially different, the noncondensable species tend to segregate in the condensation boundary layer. This paper presents a fundamental analysis of the mass transport with multiple noncondensable species, identifying a simple method to calculate an effective mass diffusion coefficient that can be used with the simple diffusion layer model. The results are illustrated with quantitative examples to demonstrate the potential importance of multicomponent noncondensable gas effects. [S0022-1481(00)01104-X]

Resumen
In the twelve months preceding the end of the Second World War, the International Committee of the Red Cross and various voluntary organizations acting with the Red Cross, were able to dispatch food parcels to increasingly large numbers of concentration camp inmates in Germany and German-controlled territory. As Allied pressure on Germany increased during the last months of the war, the possibilities of sending large-scale relief into the camps prior to their liberation expanded dramatically. However, Allied blockade policy was so deeply entrenched that it was almost impossible for these possibilities to be fully exploited. Official relief agencies failed to convince Supreme Headquarters of the Allied Expeditionary Force (SHAEF) that improving the rations of the camp inmates would not strengthen the German working force but would alleviate the problems that SHAEF itself would confront when it liberated the camps shortly thereafter.

Resumen
Oceans play a crucial role in many natural processes, such as oxygen production and climate regulation. Ocean acidification (OA) is a phenomenon caused, among other factors, by the dissolution of certain gases in water, such as carbon dioxide (CO2). It is estimated that by 2100, the partial atmospheric pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) will double from pre-industrial levels, aggravating this process. The negative consequences of OA are not yet fully understood, in part due to the limitations of laboratory experiments. However, it is known that they include increased concentrations of CO2 in the atmosphere, structural and functional modifications of ecosystems, changes in richness, diversity and geographic distribution of species, impairment of ecosystem goods and services, and commercial activities, such as fishing and aquaculture, as well as global warming. OA, in principle, is considered irreversible, as it depends on the reduction of emissions of the gases involved in the process, especially CO2, and the slow natural process of neutralization. However, some mitigation measures, allied with adaptation measures, can mitigate the effects of OA. These and other issues related to ocean vulnerability caused by climate change will be raised in this review.

Resumen
The article presents the results of the analysis of the main problems that arise when recognising the defect type in oil-filled equipment of electric power networks based on the results of the dissolved gases analysis. On the example of interpreting the actual results of the dissolved gases analysis, the main problems arising in the recognition of partial discharges, spark discharges, discharges with low and high energy density, local overheating and combined defects are analysed using the graphical method from the IEC 60599 standard, the ETRA square and the Duval triangle. The analysis revealed significant discrepancies in the norms and criteria regulated by different standards and methods for interpreting the results of the dissolved gases analysis to recognise the same defect. The research results showed that for almost all the analysed defects, the non-recognition is caused by the absence of normalised values of diagnostic criteria (values of gas ratios, percentage of gases and ratios of gas concentrations to the gas with the maximum content) for some defects or combinations of several defects. False diagnoses are made when identifying the type of defects in oil-filled equipment based on the results of the dissolved gases analysis because the values of individual gas ratios or percentage content of individual gases are not taken into account. The analysis revealed contradictions in the diagnoses made when different diagnostic criteria (ratios of characteristic gases and percentage of gases) are used for the same results of the analysis of gases dissolved in oil. Ensuring reliable recognition of the type of defect in oil-filled equipment based on the results of dissolved gas analysis is possible thanks to an integrated approach that includes not only the analysis of gas ratios, but also the analysis of the percentage of gases and defect nomograms. In addition, it is crucial to take into account the physicochemical laws of gas formation in oil, in particular, the dependence of gas content on the temperature or energy of defects.

Resumen
AbstractThis article discusses the Allied diplomatic and political impasse over restitution during and after World War II. The focus is on cultural restitution—the return of art, archives, and libraries looted by the Nazis. Serious Allied disagreements on general postwar policy for Germany inhibited the development of a coherent approach to the restitution of cultural property. Cultural restitution became lost in the maze of other greater political, economic, and ideological conflicts. Ultimately, the impasse was also fueled by the very complex issues involving cultural restitution itself. Issues including the scope of the entire effort, restitution in kind, returning property to refugees, and the fate of heirless Jewish property were intractable. The problems with cultural restitution reflected the clash of interests and ideologies. As a result, the four occupying powers had distinct approaches with radically differing results.

Resumen
Purpose The paper aims to test the spectral line-based weighted sum of gray gases (SLW) method in axisymmetric geometries with particles and high temperature gradients. Design/methodology/approach An SLW model is coupled with Trivic’s mean wavelength approach to estimate the radiative heat fluxes at the wall of an enclosure and to the base wall of the rocket exhaust, thereby subsequently studying the effect of concentration variation of the gases and particles in these cases. Radiative transfer equation is solved using modified discrete ordinates method. Anisotropic scattering is modeled using transport approximation. Findings Two cases considered show the importance of particle emission and scattering in the rocket plume base heating problems. In cases involving only gases, the concentration of H2O tends to have more impact on the flux values than any other gas. Originality/value A full model of gases with particles in an axially varying temperature field is reported. Such cases are very common in practical applications. The present methodology gives more insight and a firm handle on the problem vis-a-vis other traditional techniques.

Resumen
Objectives: To examine methods used to evaluate the clinical competence and proficiency of students in medicine and allied health professions. To identify factors that would be valuable to educators in athletic training and other medical and allied health professions in the development and use of clinical assessment methods. Data Sources: We searched EBSCO Academic, InfoTrac, MEDLINE and PubMed for literature from professional journals related to clinical education, assessing clinical competence, clinical competence, clinical proficiency assessment. Data Synthesis: Assessment of competence in the clinical setting is an issue for medicine and allied health education programs, including athletic training. Methods used to assess clinical competence included written, objective tests, checklists, oral examinations, patient management problems, simulated patients, observed clinical situations, the Observed Structured Clinical Exam and observation of students. Each method has its advantages and concerns. Psychometric issues relating to reliability, validity and generalizability arise in the development and implementation of clinical assessment instruments. In addition, there are concerns about how faculty expectations relate to student performance and how novices perform in the clinical setting as compared to experienced practitioners. Conclusions/Recommendations: Although specific outcomes may differ between the medical and allied health professions, athletic training educators can benefit from the lessons learned about methods used to evaluate students in the clinical setting. In an effort to capitalize on the benefits and minimize the problems with the assessment of clinical competence and proficiency, athletic training educators must be aware of the psychometric and outcome-related issues in test development. Attention should be paid to issues of reliability, validity and generalizability when developing tests. Clinical education outcomes must be developed in a manner that addresses the variety of cognitive levels at which clinicians function in professional practice to develop authentic assessments of clinical proficiency.

Much physiological research has been concerned with responses to diving, which combines and blends the effect of pressure change as such with exposure to various gases at high pressure. Less attention has been given to the adaptation to pressure exposure over longer periods of time, and even less is known about organisms that live at abyssal depths of the ocean where pressure is in the order of 1,000 atmospheres.
