Texto completoThis thesis analyzes strategic alliances between rival firms operating in the same sector. We first study the external and internal factors which influence the creation, dynamics, efficiency and perenniality of these cooperative relationships. We defend the following thesis: the “club” is a effective and perennial strategic alliance in an environment characterized by an economy in transition (from planned to market economy). For this research we used a sample of 21 wine companies located in the area of Tokay, in Hungary. The life cycle analysis of this club allowed us to identify the principal elements which build up a co-operative form: the necessity to affront a turbulent and complex environment and the incapacity of a single firm to appropriate resources to obtain a long terme competitive advantage. The success of the strategic alliance is connected to a continuous adaptation to the turbulent environment and to a consistent choice of a common objectif. A plural theoretic framework was mobilized to understand and interpret the emergence and consolidation of the club: organization theory, theories of the resources and competencies, strategic paradigm. The empirical results allow to confirm the explanatory capacity of these theoretic approaches

Texto completoThe general problem addressed in this study concerns the discursive and terminological construction of the memorial and sensorial experience of tasting the Crémant de Bourgogne. It is a matter of generally responding to the question of how to improve communication about this product in France and abroad using adapted terminology and speech. Therefore, the targeted aspect is both idiomatic and cultural. In order to increase Crémant de Bourgogne's share in sparkling wines market, this scientific study seeks to understand the terminological choices of consumers in the construction of their speech in the presence of stimuli (in situ) or without the presence of stimuli (hors site). In addition to that, the research will also consider to what extent these choices are articulated with those of the specialists and with the underlying marketing strategy. This doctoral thesis aims to carry out a contrast analysis of the discursive, terminological and sensorial construction of terms and descriptors used in French by specialists and non-specialists based on the corpus of descriptions and tastings of the Crémant de Bourgogne.A complementary study will enrich this work with the analysis of the discursive and terminological construction in Portuguese regarding the Brazilian sparkling wines that are similar to the Crémant de Bourgogne. In this particular instance, the objective is to observe how this speech builds up and articulates with the one in French, as well as how specialists and native non-specialists in a language-culture, in which the consumption of sparkling wines is growing, use the terms and descriptions.Using a cross-construction of these terms and descriptors, we intend to study the cultural dimension that influences those choices by the enunciator-consumers in order to provide the necessary elements to establish a terminological base. This base will start from the speeches and expertise of the specialists and will allow the construction of a specific speech of the sector capable of influencing the communication strategy adopted with the consumers

Texto completoBordeaux wine, through its widespread presence in an original presentation, that of "wine growing château" sparks debate. First of all can a "château" be made into a Bordeaux model of wine-growing and producing ? in order to answer this question, we postulate that this specific set up does in fact testify to a localised model which is indirectly analysed in a more classical analysis involving the observation and physical description of a Bordeaux wine industry between 1980 and 2003. There are three main objectives: to better understand the originality of the notion compared with other types of viticulture activity (commercialisation by a trade mark or a grape variety); to carry out an update on the dynamics of Bordeaux wine-growing and producing since the latest major geographical studies on the question, stopping on the eve of the 1980's; during this stage, to validate or invalidate the initial premise. After this, the premise having been validated, the significance of the aforesaid, the significance of the aforesaid model will be examined. It is in this part that the "thesis", in the strict sense of the word will be developed. By focusing on the cultural logic of each of the different historical actors in Bordeaux vineyard a parallel can be drawn between the model in question and the French bourgeois culture, so as to show that links exist between an ideology and the way in which an activity is organised. Here again there are three objectives: to put forward a possible interpretation of this model of viticulture; to bring out its identity; to assess the importance of the development and protection of certain wine-growing areas that could indeed be designated as part of the cultural heritage of Bordeaux
Doche, Camille. "Essays on Cooperative Organizations and Collective Resources". Electronic Thesis or Diss., Jouy-en Josas, HEC, 2024. http://www.theses.fr/2024EHEC0001.
Texto completoThis dissertation focuses on organizations’ use of collective resources which are shared with other organizations, including competitors. Specifically, this work examines the interactions between cooperative organizational forms – which are relying on shared resources – and other resources, whether collective or not (e.g. privately owned resources, Common-Pool Resources, public resources), and the consequences for firm performance. The first chapter investigates members’ defection from cooperatives, when they cease to use shared resources. This first chapter also explores retention practices cooperatives can adopt to retain these members. The second chapter delves into the role of Common-Pool Resources (CPRs or Commons) in this decision to leave cooperatives. This chapter thus examines how collective resources within cooperatives may conflict with CPRs and undermine each other. Building on the second chapter's exploration of CPRs, the third chapter redefines performance in contexts where such commons are at risk of depletion. This last chapter examines how the non-exploitation of resources can indicate performance for firms
