Texto completoOur research deals with demo-economical relations in an open economy. We'll successively study different aspects of them : what is preferable between the alternatives capital movements or migrations, the influence of the choice of a retirement system in a country compared with anotherone, the influence of the demographic factor on unemployment within economic systems called "competitive" as well as the possible recourse to immigration in a post Keynesian analysis in France in 2000, lastly the possible negative effects of the population within different countries "pollution exchanges". As a conclusion, we will try to brung to light in a formal way the concept of demo-economic relations in an open economy
Nguyen, Thiên-Ân. "Relations structure-fonction dans la superfamille des Cytochromes P450 : études Bioinformatiques". Paris 7, 2007. http://www.theses.fr/2007PA077157.
Texto completoCytochromes P450 (CYP) are monoxygenase enzymes involved in biotransformations of exogenous compounds in detoxification processes, but also in intoxication by generation of reactive species. CYP 3A4, the most abundant isoform present in human liver, is responsible for the metabolisation of more than 60% of drugs used in therapy, leading to unwanted drug-drug interactions. The knowledge and understanding of mechanisms underlying substrate recognition and transformation is of outstanding interestfor setting up reliable predictive tools in pharmaceutical companies. Achievement of CYP models by homology modeling is however limited by the high diversity of sequences in this superfamily. An original method based on the identification of Common Structural Blocks (CSB) within the family, is proposed here to rebuild structural models despite their low sequence identity. CSBs define a common fold of the CYPs and are used as a structural signature of the superfamily. A multiple alignment tool able to align successive profiles (calculated in each CSB) on the CYP sequences of unknown structure, has been developed to make use of the structural information beneath the CSBs, in one hand to give reliable multiple alignments used in homology modeling, and in the other hand, to search for new CYP sequences in databanks or genomes. When the structural model is obtained, in silico mutation experiments can be performed to monitor changes in the behavior of the protein towards its specifies substrates. A successful example is shown through CYP2B6 case, in which mutations suggested by the model led to significant increase of its affinity towards a specific substrate used in chemotherapy

Texto completoFinanciel autonomy is a main component for the local governments' autonomy. In light of comparative law, this research intends to examine the various aspects of the local governments' financial autonomy as guarantee by the (French) Constitution, and protected by the Constitutional Court. This research allows for greater expansion of the vision of financial relations between the national and local governments in France, thanks to the comparison with other countries that have a system of vertical distribution of competences that is different than that of France. This research looks into the perspective of the current French system compared to the American, Spanish, Italian and other such models. This comparative perspective allows for the identification of both the convergent and divergent points between the various state governance models, and aims to highlight the working of the French guarantee for the local financial autonomy protection

Texto completoHow can we improve the effectiveness of our representatives to international meetings? The working language, english, is not their mother tongue. Can this disadvantage vis-a-vis the anglo-saxon delegates be overcome? Which teaching approaches might be suggested for this problem? The field of air transportation provides an excellent proving ground for resolving these issues. International by definition, it has given birth to a wide variety of organizations. Have airline companies tried to settle the problems met by their delegates taking part in the numerous meetings held under the auspices of these organizations? The teaching of general english is usually covered by vocational training. It would seem, however, that little has been done so far to deal with the specific needs of international meetings. The research presented here is based primarily on observations (surveys, recordings) made during the course of meetings dealing with various subjects and held at different hierarchical levels, within icao, iata or more specialized organizations several methods have been used to construct pedagogical principles : situational analysis, survey analysis, computerized lexical analysis, comparisons between different communicative situations, application of the system of discourse analysis developed by Sinclair and Coulthard to the language of meetings, notional functional analysis based upon Wilkins' taxonomy. This approach has led to proposals for specific teaching materials oriented towards three main objectives: 1- to train non-native speakers to recognize and use formal speaking procedures 2- to teach students how to present a paper in english and to demonstrate the specificity of the language used in conferences 3- to make learners practise both procedure and language through exercices based on authentic material. Such a course is geared to people at an intermediate or advanced level of general english and aims to help them acquire most of the socio-linguistic skills they need

Texto completoThis doctoral thesis deals with the collective response of employees hit by the closure or restructuring of their production tool, putting them at risk of losing their job. We have sought to identify the reasons for resignation or, on the contrary, the inspiration behind protest movements and response strategies put together by industry workers, at a time when such workers are to an extent losing their bearings and their traditional culture of struggle has been eroding. Field studies were carried out on the collapse of Forges de Clabecq, the offshoring of three Levi’s factories, the restructuring of two continental steel plants belonging to Arcelor and the receivership of the Cellatex factory. Our research was framed by a comparison between France and Belgium, as our hypothesis was that unions and the degree with which they work with the state have an impact on the intensity and form of labour movements. In this respect, France and Belgium offer highly contrasting systems. A second key to understanding this phenomenon is the local environment and the underlying characteristics of different employment basins. Lastly, the company itself, its industrial and social history, its local image and its human resources management policies forge the identity, values, collective culture and the perception of class relations of its employees. For this reason, we attach especial importance to the impact of new management on the company’s collective cohesiveness and, accordingly, its mobilisation potential

Texto completoThe present thesis examines how the variables of gender and power both have an impact on negotiators' feelings and behaviors and on negotiation outcomes. In order to better grasp the dynamics of men/women relations at work in the process, an exploratory study was conducted with professional negotiators. It aimed to clarify what the process dynamics are, including how males and females perceive the place of women at the negotiation table and the position of strength within the negotiation process. The results underline the respective importance of such factors as the sex of the negotiators or their hierarchical status. In our second experimental study, we tested the direct effects of gender and of power as well as their joint effects including their possible interaction in building up negotiators’ behaviors, performances and outcomes. Although our results show that women express less self-confidence, they are neither more cooperative and less efficient than men are

Texto completoIn early XXIth century, aboriginal peoples have the same legal status than any other citizens under the rule of law and, as a supplement, state recognize their customary status. So there is a duplicity of legal status. We analyse four countries : Australia, Canada, Colombia and New Caledonia. The starting print is the collection of rules, institutions and legal mechanisms adopted by the various states. The method is more inductive than deductive : from legal facts regarding aboriginal peoples, we try to conceptualise the characteristics of legal system in multicultural states. Principe on equality articulates customary law with state, or maybe it serves for their captation while aboriginal peoples demand formal equality between customary law and rule of law ; in the other side, they demand a material equality like citizens and affirmative action measures against their inferior conditions of living. Reflection about customary law puts in evidence a kind of evolution to an identitary law which mission could be: to protect cultural identities from their formation, to assure links of communities, to save cultural borders and to regulate the changing identity of individuals. Multicultural states answered to the demands of aboriginal peoples by a duplication of institutions and laws following three models : 1) Political, legal, jurisdictional and administrative autonomies (territorial units, personal status, customary jurisdiction, etc. ) ; 2) Special statutes (contributions, multilinguism, etc. ) ; and 3) Duplicities of law that create legal pluralism situations, in the way proposed by Jacques VANDERLINDEN. A legal pluralism pragmatist and situational is the opposite of systemic approach and concepts of law anthropologists

Texto completoThe objective of this thesis is to analyse the impact of asymmetric information on agents' relationships. The two first chapters address the question of financing risky projects under both moral hazard and adverse selection, when the lenders are competing banks or a monopolist. The main result is that market power strengthens rationing when is not observable. The third chapter proposes both a theoretical and emperical analysis of microfinance institutions credit delivery system. We show that whenever borrowers have no initial wealth, lenders have no other choice than screening them ex ante. The empirical analysis on institutions in Bangladesh supports our theoretical results. The last chapter gives an explanation for the reform of the competition policy in Europe. When the accuracy of evaluation of the competition authority is sufficiently high, it is possible, using fines in the ex post control, to deter the signature of harmful agreements

Texto completoThe "technometric" study focusing on supraconductor materials significantly shows the more and more international nature of the phenomenon of patent. Great industrial nations such as the United-States and Japan get more and more inclined to project their techniques and new products overseas in order to create broader markets. The globalisation of technology - thus appearing with superconductivity - espresses multiple and complex realities which seemingly have to be managed. Apparently the Japanese industrial strategy is to cover the whole industrial field while focusing the means of action on some essential poles. The american indutrial strategy aims keeping a worldwide leadership, which she thinks is on the way to escape her. Japan appears like a country where technology originates while a very creative country such the United-States loses ground. This expresses a tendency to a levelling between both countries. This research shows that ago-antagonism approach prevails in the supraconductor materials industry. In fact the actors are seeking for a balance between competition and cooperation to cope with the specificities of the field concerned

Texto completoThe problems of coordination between the moroccan and french systems of private international law come as a result of the differences existing between their legislations concerning the personal status on the right of the family. In the case of the moroccan law the issues of personal law status stand in solidarity with religious rules that prohibit the mariage of a Moslem woman to a non-moslem man, the ignorance of natural children, and the free union. Also for religious consideration these rules ignore the adoption of children. In the french law the wives are treated equally like men in the case of mariage, and divorce. This egality includes also the natural and the adopted children. These difficulties provoque many problems and conflicts between the two kinds of law. The french-moroccan relations will face a difficult test when the french law of the 11 july 1975 apply the french rules on all foreign marrierd couples residant in France. For coordinating between their laws Morocco and France signed on 10 august 1981 a convention concerning the status of individuals and the family and juridical cooperation. The issues being considered in these rules are the state, the capacity, the mariage and the divorce and the keeping of children. In these new rules, they favorise the application of national rule in order to conserve fondamental principals of their national identity. This respect of personal status leads naturally to minimize the exigence of the public rule. The convention establishes in the other hand a system of juridical cooperation in order to facilitate and to assure exercising the right of guardien, visit and the payment of alimentary pensions

Texto completoIn the 20th century, music has experienced rapid growth in the orient as well as in the occident. And, in the Mashreq, musicians, thanks to the phonograph, the cinema and the radio, have been able to hear western music in their daily lives. The notion has taken root that this music could add new elements and improve the style of traditional music. Western influences were welcome by those who thought that occidentalization of music would counter the stagnation into which traditional music has fallen. The way in which the influence was exerted differed from country within the mashreq. This work outlines the course of this evolution. The most important factor is the adaptation of European polyphony to Arab music. The present work tries to answer a question: is this musical style primarily a source of enrichment, or is it fundamentally in contradiction with the essence of traditional music? In addition to exploring the problems of acculturation, this research explores the repertory of the ud through a study of taqasim, focusing on developments on the 20th century. This part of the study is based on the writer's personal experience as a player of the ud. The approach therefore is a personal one which is complemented by work in the field - recording the taqasim of several musicians from the syro-egyptian school at different times during the course of the writer's travels in Egypt and the Middle East. The problem of western influences on the classical music of the mashreq is examined in detail in the second part of this work. In this context, research was carried out in Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq but also in turkey. In the course of his travels, the author has had occasion to meet some musicians who are very well-known in their own countries. This has permitted him to create a sort of anthology of musical works which can serve to illustrate the evolution of musical style in this region in the 20th century

Texto completoThe frame of this research is about the period between the lifting of martial law in 1987 and the end of 1995, in which some grant social conflicts had happened, in ordre to observe with a new point of view the taiwanese society. Our problematic is that : why should we wait until the lifting of martial law to have these social conflicts happened in a society where there was few conflicts during 40 years ? what is the relation between these social conflicts and the political transform ? why these social conflicts disappeared graduelly after 1990 ? all these conflicts are treated in the frame of indutrial relations. Just like a. Touraine said, it is about "a historical action in the social field"-- social actors strike for the 'totality'. So, that is why we place these conflicts in the context of social relations. Besides, all the theories of industrial relations show us one thing : it is all included in a employer's thinking system. But, since the research of the strike appeared in the 50, social sciences consider more seriously the problem of strike and social mouvement. This correspond to what a. Touraine called a 'subjectivity'. But does the evolution of industrial relations in taiwan follow the same path ? that is to say a processus of subjectivity

Texto completoCorruption is an ancient and common phenomenon unanimously condemned. It is considered as a real plague undermining all societies’ values, rule of States and is a danger for worldwide economy. But the term of corruption is actually employed to a complex, multifaceted and scalable phenomenon. In practice, it offers as many forms and behaviours as situations where it can be realised. Therefore, this study was first devoted to define the notion of corruption. Contrary to the common language, this term is employed here in its legal meaning. As a consequence, corruption is defined in this study as the crime, or more especially, the several specific crimes incriminated in analysed legal systems. But this study also reveals that the fight against corruption shall not be limited to these specific crimes. Other behaviours, beforehand and afterwards the phenomenon must be incriminated and severely condemned. In other words, to fight against corruption it is fundamental to combat all corruption practices. The choice was, next, to make a comparative study between French and Vietnamese law. The economic links between the two States are very strong such as their legislative disparities, in particular regarding the incrimination of corruption crimes. Vietnam, as a transiting country, knows a very fast economic development. But the country is not at the same level than France regarding criminal law. Contrary to France, Vietnam keeps a very classic vision of corruption crimes and doesn’t perceive its multifaceted aspect. Nevertheless, because of international commercial exchanges’ intensification, fraudulent collusions inevitably appear between the two States. De facto, they must face up these new forms of corruption, alone or together

Texto completoFrance and the USA are said to have adopted corporate income tax systems that are poles apart. Indeed, France would implement a territorial tax system while the Americans would apply a worldwide tax regime. Yet, such an analysis reveals an oversimplified if not caricatured vision of the French and American tax law. Indeed, two tax principles for corporations are taken into account in the USA. American corporations are taxed on a worldwide basis, while foreign corporations have to comply with a strict territorial principle. Likewise, the approach which amounts to saying France has adopted, with regard to Section 209-I of the Tax Code, a unique principle of territoriality, is today out of date. French tax rules are not the same for French and foreign corporations. So, we must consider today that both France and the USA have adopted a similar territorial tax principle and rules for foreign corporations. This principle is not in itself called into question by tax treaties, though they contribute to restricting considerably the tax right of the source State. Nevertheless, these States have chosen distinct tax rules for domestic corporations. In fact, today if they both implement a worldwide system, the measures added to it in internal and conventional law so as to reduce or eliminate double taxation are different and even compete with each other. However, globalization challenges both French and American tax systems. We may wonder which one is eventually the most suitable in such a context considered as irreversible. None of them is really satisfactory. So, today, these States have to clear their path through the worldwide and territorial tax systems to find a compromise solution

We chose two types of radio broadcasts available on the network: info-interactive and interactive. With these three processes of research, we wanted to confirm, firstly the existence of a cultural policy within the cultural communities of foreign origin radios, secondly the development of the intercultural relations among interlocutors of various cultural origins, thirdly the getting of a social and cultural knowledge and the evolution of the cultural representations on these communities in a dynamic of mediation

Texto completoThis work aims at improving the modelisation of mechanical behaviour of silica and silicate glasses during indentation. First we focused on measurement of permanent deformation observed in hydrostatic compression and indentation test, which is a change in volume called densification. Using an elastic model, both in analytical models of contact and in finite element simulation, we estimated such volume. In a second time, we proposed a constitutive model in order to evaluate the respective role of different type of deformation : shear stress and densification. These models were implemented to a finite element software (Cast3M). We also included in our models the pressure dependance of elastic properties, observed during compressive test, in order to improve the description of the comportment in indentation

Texto completoGymnodimines, spirolides, pinatoxines and pteriatoxines constitute a family of marine toxins with complex structures. They are produced in small quantities by marine microorganisms called dinoflagelles. These toxins are known to block the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR), but the exact mode of action remains to be determined. Different biological tests showed that the spiroimine moiety, common feature to all these molecules, is the main pharmacophore, indispensable for the inhibitive activity. This Ph.D. work has been focused on the synthesis of the spiroimine fragment of the (–)-gymnodimine A, for pharmacological studies of these structures. In a first part, the formation of the quaternary carbon was developped around the Tsuji-Trost reaction. Good yield and enantiomeric excess were obtained. During our work with modele substrate, an original approach was used to functionnalize the allyl chain. We realized a cross metathesis followed by an oxidative cleavage to form an aldehyde used to synthezise the wished spirolactone. After some functional arrangements, a Staudinger cyclisation has been involved to isolate the expected spiroimines. Then, Tsuji-Trost reaction was applied to more functionnalized substrates for a future total synthesis. In a second time, an asymmetric decarboxylative allylation from Beta-cétoesters, was used to form the stereogenic center with good yield and enantiomeric excess. A short synthetic route was developped for the synthesis of the spiroimine moiety. After an isomerisation of the allylic chain, compounds were involved in a 1,3-cycloaddition between an alcene and an azide to form the wished spiroimines. The generalization of the method was just begun. Three spiroimines were isolated and biologically evaluated on nAChRs. Their structure were simpler than GYM A but they show an antagonist effect and even a blocking effect according to the molecule. Their biological activities were lower than the natural product but these results show that spiroimine moiety is one of the pharmacophore of the GYM A

Texto completoThis PhD thesis aims at studying the dynamics of the relationships between boys and girls – descendants of migrants – living in two deprived neighborhoods, in France and Germany, in which specific public policies have been implemented: the “politique de la ville” in France, and the “Soziale Stadt” in Germany. The originality of this research resides in the fact that gender relations are analyzed considering a tension between solidarity and competition. The analysis, based on life stories and on a multi-sited ethnography, underlines the effects of the educational strategies of the parents, of the school and work experiences of the children, as well as of their involvement in more or less gender egalitarian “normative poles” in their neighborhood, on the dynamics of solidarity and competition. Solidarity between boys and girls seems to be a useful resource during the transition into adulthood. It is especially used in order fight different kinds of domination. Solidarity is not fixed, but dynamic. It appears and disappears, must be negociated and re-negociated, changes its form depending of the contexts and interactions. It is what I call a solidarité en tension
Saavedra, Mayorga Juan Javier. "Les mécanismes d'influence dans la relation de leadership : deux études de cas en Colombie". Caen, 2014. http://www.theses.fr/2014CAEN0500.
Texto completoThe goal of this thesis is to understand how the mechanisms of influence work in leadership relationships, and what their effects are within the different organizational actors. The basic proposition is that leadership can be considered a mutual influence process, which has an impact on the identity of the individuals involved. Following the premises of critical management studies, a theoretical framework is developed that conceives of leadership as a power relationship and as a space for identity formation. The empirical component of this work is made up of two case studies in two Colombian organizations, in each one of which the narrative identity of the leaders, the influence tactics that they use, the reaction that these tactics produce in their followers, and the possibility of the existence of reciprocal influence relationships was identified. Based on the results, one can formulate five theoretical verifications about the influence processes in the studied cases: 1. In leadership, influence is produced as a result of the coherence between the discourse and the action. ; 2. There is a relationship between the leader’s narrative identity, the power strategy and the influence tactics: 3. The influence tactics used by leaders are banal and diverse; 4. They make up an identifiable pattern, and 5. The follower reacts in a coherent way to the influence tactics exerted over him. The results of this research champion for the expansion of the limits of the leadership field, for the development of research work that has an interpretative and critical interest, and for a new appreciation of the role of the collaborator in organizational life
