Resumen
Ethnic identity as a phenomenon of human nature has a mobile nature, which depends on various factors that accompany a person's life. The author analyses this aspect of ethnic identity, which is closely related to the term "transformation". It is analysed this term in order to further substantiate the significance of the process of transformation of ethnic identity into an all-Russian civic identity. The study is based on the analysis of the relationship of ethnic identity with such factors as the natural and biological maturation of the individual, the emotional and evaluative attitude of the individual to his identity, external historical and cultural events. These factors, as the analysis showed, determine two key scenarios for the transformation of ethnic identity. The first scenario is associated with the process of transformation of ethnic identity with respect to positive ethnic identity, recognized as the norm of interethnic interaction. This process is realized within one form of identity, in particular ethnic. The second scenario assumes the participation of a different form of identity, in particular the all-Russian one. Much attention is paid by the author to the correlation of these forms of identities, different points of view of individual scientists on this issue are given. The significance of such a form of identity, which combines both the values of ethnic identity and the all-Russian civic identity, is substantiated. Such a process of transformation of ethnic identity into an all-Russian civic identity involves the generation of a new supra- ethnic identity, in which the traditional ethnic identity does not disappear anywhere, but becomes the basis for the adoption of other, in particular civic all-Russian values.

Resumen
Ethnic relations in Malaysia have undergone a long history. It all began when the Melaka Malay Government was founded until today. Today, communities of various backgrounds, cultures and religions are the main characteristics of world countries. These pluralistic communities are perceived to have been burdened with all-too-common ethnic competitions and conflicts. In Malaysia, the concept of race is not used in understanding the relationship between people of various cultures. The concept adopted instead is the one characterising upon the culture, language, and religion. The Malay World had successfully constructed a pluralistic society through inter-group bonding that there was a cross-cultural relationship based on the permeable and umbrella ethnicity concepts. However, through the Divide and Rule Policy by the British colonials, it had changed the form of ethnic relations in the Malay World to the point that there was a distributed occupational form according to different ethnic groups. The structure of ethnic relations in Malaysia post-NEP was influenced by a very thin line of ethnic boundaries and their relationships based on non-ethnic considerations. Meanwhile, the analysis of the Post-14th General Election finds that there has a positive and negative scenario and situations created in terms of the ethnic relations in Malaysia. Thus, this article will analyse the transformation of ethnic relations in Malaysia since the Malay Sultanate Era in Melaka, the Era of Colonisation, the Post-New Economic Policy Era and the Post-14th General Election Era.

Resumen
The political changes which started in Central and Eastern Europe in 1989 have exposed the real ethnic faces of these societies. It has become obvious that the population of these countries were not homogeneous “socialist nations.” During the post-repressive period some ethnic prejudice re-appeared—both between nations and between ethnic groups within these countries.

The analysis of state management based on system and structural-functional approaches allowed to identify the current needs of its development, and demonstrate that it performs the tasks of control and regulation, including the transformation of inter-ethnic and rural communities in the regions of Siberia. It is revealed that the state ethnic and agrarian policy does not solve the problem of economic and socio-cultural transformations in the life of communities. It is shown that the optimal solution to this problem would be the regulatory impact assessment (RIA), as well as the construction of theoretical models for the practical implementation of state regulation of transformation processes. The structure of the theoretical model of socio-cultural regulation of transforming communities is proposed.

Resumen
The main trends in the ethnic transformation of the post-Soviet space were set long before the collapse of the Soviet Union. The most striking example of this is the process of ethnic transformation in the macroregion, including the territory of the young states of Central Asia (Kazakhstan and the republics of Middle Asia). The aim of the study is to identify the main trends in the transformation of the ethnic space of the Central Asian macroregion over a 120-year interval. For this, a set of ethnic indicators (ethnic mosaic, homogeneity, concentration, etc.) were used, calculated according to the results of censuses and population counts, as well as the methods which have been created in Russian cultural geography. As a part of the study period, two stages were distinguished, characterized by directly opposite trends in the transformation of the ethnic space of the macroregion. The first stage lasted until the end of the 1950s. It was characterized by a decrease in the share of the titular nations of the republics as a result of a significant migration influx of the population from outside the macroregion, which led to an increase in the degree of multi-ethnicity of the territory. Since the 1960s an increase in the share of the titular nations of the republics began, which was a consequence of the demographic explosion of the indigenous population and the migration outflow of non-titular peoples of the republics, and the concentration of titular ethnic groups within their republics increased. The most significant ethnic restructuring throughout the period was experienced by Kazakhstan and the North of Kyrgyzstan. In the second stage the ethnic structure of the population has undergone a radical transformation of all large cities in the macroregion underwent.

Resumen
The objective of this paper is to trace the emergence of the ethnic consciousness of the Hungarians and their becoming an ethnie on the basis of the ethnosymbolist par- adigm’s six criteria. Subsequently, the article also presents the transformation from ethnicity to nationhood based on Anthony D. Smith’s model. From the perspective of the ethnosymbolist approach, the emergence of the Hungarian people can be dated to 970, and the birth of the Hungarian nation to 1848. When applying Smith’s model to the Hungarians, it can be concluded that the Hungarian people only became a nation after more than eight centuries of further transformations. All this suggests that eth- nosymbolism does not go astray in its search for an ‘ethnic core’ of modern nations back in the distant past. Rather, it would be more appropriate to reconsider wheth- er the term ‘nation’ can indeed be applied only within the ideological and temporal framework of historical modernity.

Mulati, Job Chebai y Edmond Were. "Influence of Statist Inter-ethnic Political Leadership Transformation in the Management of Inter-ethnic Conflicts in Bungoma County, Kenya". Resumen
The study interrogates the influence of statist inter-ethnic political leadership transformation in the management of inter-ethnic conflicts in Bungoma County. In Kenya, specifically in Bungoma, the 1963 conflict in the region acquired a political and national outlook. In 1992, despite 29 years of independence, the violence was unparalleled. The specific objective of the study was to examine the effect of statist inter-ethnic political leadership integration in the management of inter-ethnic conflict in Bungoma County. The study followed a conceptual framework that was based on Lederach's Conflict Transformation and Gultang's Conflict Triangle theories. A descriptive research design was adopted. By using the Yamane 1967 formula, a sample size of 400 participants was derived from the 1375065 population. Participants were distributed randomly, purposefully, and proportionately. Questionnaires, interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), and document analysis were used to collect primary and secondary data, respectively. Microsoft Excel performed both quantitative and qualitative data analysis through thematization, corroboration, and verification. The findings were: Unlike inter-marriage (23%), culture (20%), and trade (15%), 42% of respondents concurred that elders were key in influencing inter-ethnic co-existence. However, colonisation alienated them and made them distinct in their roles. Independent statist political leadership transformation mutated from precipitating inter-ethnic inclined: corruption and greed 17%, political repression 16%, political participation in government 15%, punishment 14%, torture 13%, and demotion 12% to inter-ethnic integration of glimpses of diversity policies into political leadership. Even though peacebuilding was going on, the biggest problems that still needed to be solved were the enforcement of inter-ethnic political leadership integration policies in Bungoma County, the translation of the inter-ethnic political leadership transformation initiative into documentary and creative art, and the separation of administrative and political boundaries from ethnic boundaries.

Resumen
On the basis of T. Parsons’ classical concept of social institutions the authors consider the family as a social institution and its role in determining the transformation of interethnic communities. The model of the mechanism of determination is offered including the ethnic structure of the population, type of family, intergenerational relations in the family, social and interethnic attitudes of children (youth), acculturation strategies of youth, social communication of family with other social institutions. The model is verified with the materials of specific sociological studies in the republics of Sakha (Yakutia), Khakassia, Tuva. The positive role of ethnically mixed families in the integration of interethnic communities is revealed.

Resumen
The subject of this research is the problem of politicization of ethnicity. This trend is substantiated by actualization of ethnic identity, which received the name of “ethnic renaissance” that affected the majority of population in different countries and continents, and became a natural response to the challenges of globalization. The author examines such aspects of the topic, as the analysis of politicization of ethnicity in the scientific discourse, process of political mobilization of ethnic communities and its stages, types of secession movements and their characteristics. Special attention is paid to the problems of ethnic separatism and ethnonationalism, which are the result of politicization of ethnic factor. It is noted that in the conditions of ambiguous global transformations, ethnic identity activates the political resource, successfully used in the conditions of informatization of society at various levels of sociality: macro, mezo, micro. Methodological framework is comprised of constructivist paradigm that allows viewing ethnic identity as the method of organization of sociocultural being of commonality based on delineation of its “symbolic” boundaries. The acquired results allow to theoretically substantiate that ethnic identity possesses strong political potential, which creates the centers of tension and conflicts worldwide. In the conditions of transformation of the international system and new round of geopolitical confrontation, the political resource of ethnicity is fully utilized. The process of political mobilization of ethnos includes the following stages: 1) formation of political consciousness among the representatives of ethnic group; 2) ethnopolitical mobilization; 3) organization of ethno-national movement. At first two stages, the paramount role is played by political elites, and at the third – by ethnic ideology. In the current conditions of nonlinear dynamics of world system, the emergence of a large number of geopolitical actors following various goals, as well as usage of information technologies, ethnic identity is an effective instrument for consolidation, as well as deconsolidation of groups by ethnic grounds, obtains its political agency.

Resumen
The article presents the results of the analysis of words-stimuli "home", "Motherland", "Russia", "Russian", "language", undertaken with consideration of the data obtained in a pilot associative experiment with Russian-speaking groups of migrants (ethnic Jewish and Germans), living in Munich (Germany). A comparative analysis of experimental data and the data given in associative dictionaries was performed with the aim to reveal the influence of respondents' ethnic background on transformation of associative fields, which is connected with changes in cultural environment. The authors draw a conclusion that in the fields with the words-stimuli "Russia", "Russian language" the respondents' quantitative reactions demonstrate a low level of change, coinciding with the ones, stipulated in the dictionaries. This type of words-stimuli is labeled as "migratory stable" and is opposed to "migratory unstable" in the contents of associative fields with the words-stimuli "home", "Motherland". Some noticeable changes and trends of considerable transformations under the influence of the foreign culture environment are discovered. The respondents' quantitative reactions deviate from those registered in the dictionaries. The article gives reasons for transformations and/or preserving the contents of associative fields of the words-stimuli under study. The ethnic characteristics of the groups under experiments are stated having little influence on transformation of the associative fields, whereas the cultural background, the worldview was formed at, demonstrates some considerable effect on their consciousness.

Resumen
The article is devoted to the influence of material culture and ritual practices on the modern ethnic identity of the Kalmyk people. Currently, a kind of ethnic “renaissance” is taking place in Kalmykia, which manifests itself both in the transformation and reactualization of existing ethnic trends, as well as in the construction (reconstruction) of neo-ethnics, the search for new motives of ethnic identity. In addition, there is a local “local” identity, an association of oneself with the administrative region of residence, each of which has its own established ethnocultural specifics. Such ethnotransformation processes were reflected in the related religious and civic affiliation, in the view of one's own history and one's own place in this world. The specificity of the ethnic “renaissance” in modern Kalmyk society is associated with the processes of ethnocultural adaptation of Kalmyks among the peoples of the Volga region and the North Caucasus after their arrival on the Volga in the XVII century. In the XIX–XX centuries, the reduction of pasture lands led to a crisis of nomadic economy and caused the gradual transition of the Kalmyk people to a sedentary lifestyle. However, the Kalmyks did not copy the way of life of neighboring sedentary peoples, but adapted it to their needs based on their own ideas about the world order. Ethnic specificity is reflected in the rituals of the life cycle, as well as calendar rituals. Currently, there has been a change in the maternity rite only in the methods and place of delivery. However, during the prenatal period, food and behavioral prohibitions imposed on a woman persist. Thus, the isolated residence of Kalmyks in the Lower Volga region in a non-ethnic, non-confessional and foreign-speaking region, connected by common origin, common history, customs and aware of themselves as a whole since the 19th century, led to the formation of their ethnic identity. Since the second half of the twentieth century, when the Kalmyks gradually lost some of their specific features, this led to a change in ethnic identity. The processes of changing various aspects of ethnic culture represent the life of an ethnic group, a living process of its development and transformation.

The relationship between national tradition and modern ethics has become an important proposition of ethnic minority films in the new century. With the development of society, the minority areas are more closely connected with the outside world, and some individuals of the minorities can be exposed to modern ethics and realize their superiority over the traditional national ethics. Due to the connection with the traditional national society, the awakening individual often bears strong tearing and pain in the conscious transformation from tradition to modern. This irreversible transformation process accompanied by strong pain has been condensed into two symbols of “leaving” and “death” in the film text.

Resumen
The article analyzes transformation processes in the Ossetian ethnic tradition that resulted from the modernization of the Great Reforms era. While the article covers the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the changes in question stretched beyond these limits, being complex in nature and increasing gradually. As mountainous Ossetia was drawn into the orbit of Russian influence the ethnic isolation was ended, and certain aspects of the tradition changed. The period of Great Reforms contributed to the strengthening of capitalist development in the Russian Empire. This period provided significant changes not only in the economic but also in the socio-cultural life of the Ossetian highlanders. We observe a gradual modernization of the archaic tradition of the ethnos at that time. This transformation of the traditional ethnic worldview of the Ossetian highlanders is reflected in various narrative sources. In particular the folk legends recorded by representatives of the educated part of Ossetian society carry significant information. The bearers of oral folklore - the inhabitants of mountainous Ossetia - often introduced new realities into the narratives, elements that were atypical for the archaic consciousness. Folk legends therefore constitute an important source for studying the processes of modernization of the traditional consciousness. The present article studies these processes with the folklore legend The Tale of the Lonely recorded in the nineteenth century, which reflects ideological transformations characteristic of the ethnic consciousness in this period.

Aim. To identify the most important factors in the transformation of ethnocultural space and population identity through the example of a multicultural trans-border region.Materials and Methods. This research vector provides possibilities to consider this issue in line with the well-known ideas of L. N. Gumilyov regarding the adaptation of ethnic groups to landscapes, as well as to apply an analysis algorithm based on the study of various forms of interethnic contacts and ethnic processes. The author's data from field expedition research, including sociological surveys of the population (more than three thousand people on both sides of the Russian-Kazakh border), interviews, expert assessments, including observation, mapping, etc. have been used. Historical sources, as well as archival documents and existing cartographic materials from various times, have been analysed.Results. Ethno-cultural groups interact with each other and adapt to landscapes, as a result of these processes ethnic cultures acquire common features and regional specificities. These factors have been evaluated and features of interethnic interaction between migrants and the autochthonous population as well as transformation of the ethno-cultural space are revealed. The speed of transformation is influenced by historical, geopolitical, psychological and economic factors. The article is illustrated with specific examples. Geographical aspects of transformation of ethno-cultural identity as the main marker of ethnic culture in trans-border regions have been consideredConclusion. The most important factors of ethno-cultural space and regional identity transformation are adaptation in landscapes, intercultural interaction, migration, change of ethnic composition of the population and divergence as a consequence of delimitation.

Resumen
The article considers the factors influencing the change of the value system of society in the process of its development. The author draws a parallel between the traditional and modern systems of values of a separate ethnic group. The Kalmyks are a small ethnic group, but their cultural and spiritual heritage is rich and multifaceted. The customs and traditions of ancestors still influence the mentality, methods of education of the younger generation, moral guidelines of modern Kalmyks. Nevertheless, de-ethnization, which accelerates the unification of culture, the loss of national features of lifestyle, economic activity, language, is becoming increasingly obvious. Kalmyk society has undergone a significant transformation, there is a shift in emphasis in value orientations: from ethical and altruistic to pragmatic. This fact cannot but cause concern for the future of this distinctive ethnic group. The main emphasis in the article is on the fact that many crisis phenomena in the life of modern society are caused, first of all, by the loss of certain moral guidelines, following which a person could avoid irreparable social, political and economic losses.

Resumen
The article considers the nature of ethnic identity transformation of Russian Germans and their descendants currently residing in Krasnoyarsk Region. Ethnic and demographic development of Russian Germans is characterized by depopulation, migration loss and irreversibility of ethnic assimilation. This actualizes the problem of finding effective mechanisms for preservation and ethnical and cultural reproduction of the German ethnic group. Analyze of the ethnic identification model of the deported Germans and their descendants allows to determine key ethnic-forming factors. It is concluded that traditional markers, such as language and religion, have lost their meaning in the process of ethnic self-identification. Their reproduction was destroyed by alien ethnic environment with the spread of nationally mixed marriages. The article notes the increased role of historical memory in the post-deportation period, which is formed through interfamilial and intergenerational communication. Images of the past are represented and transmitted, first of all, through family and other social institutions. The otherness of the Russian Germans is manifested through their opposition to Germans of Germany. The study is based on biographical interviews of deported Germans and their descendants taken by a group of Krasnoyarsk historians during a field expedition to the south of the region in 2017 in termd of the project «Ethnic groups in Siberia: conditions for cultural memory preservation» with the support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. The article is dated to the 80th anniversary of the Russian Germans deportation.

Resumen
This paper examines the cultural, social, and economic contributions of multi–ethnic neighborhood businesses to the transformation of German cityscapes. The diversity on N–Street in Stuttgart has been at the forefront of urban transformations and cultural production. I show that neighborhood stores and shopping streets are sites of urban experiments and cultural beginnings which produce new authenticities in the face of rapid urban homogenization. Combining theoretical debates about urban “authenticities,” the creative potential of immigrant neighborhoods, and ethnic/cross–cultural economies, I analyze transformations of N–Street and the surrounding neighborhood. I argue that neighborhood shopping streets are relevant nodes and agents in urban transformations and the production of urban futures. Based on ethnographic fieldwork, I introduce N–Street's history, its current configuration of genuinely local urban cultures and economies, and its cultural complexity and cultural and economic innovation.

After Ukraine gained independence, the ethnic policy of this state has contributed to the transformation of the concept of the Ukrainian nation from ethnic into civic one. For this purpose, a package of legal acts modelled on international law has been adopted. The management of ethnic policy in Ukraine has saved the public from high levels of xenophobia and ethnic conflict. At the same time, the process of national integration is slowing down because some ethnic minorities prefer their own ethnic identity to the national civic one.

Resumen
This study analyzes the various efforts made by the Balinuraga people to transform conflictual conditions into harmony after the conflict that has resulted in the loss of the Balinuraga community's collective identity, and makes destructive to constructive. So far there has been no research that examines the efforts made by the Balinese ethnic to maintain their identity after the conflict. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with anthropological and sociological approaches by collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. In the case analysis process, the writer uses several theories, namely ethnic identity theory, conflict transformation theory, adaptation theory, social integration theory and social interaction theory. The results showed that conflict was triggered by juvenile delinquency, expanded with the issue of ethnicity and group arrogance as an accelerator and conflict transformation efforts were carried out in four dimensions, namely personal, relational, structural and cultural transformation in order to achieve sustainable peace and national security. The implementation of the ethnic reconstruction strategy carried out by the Balinuraga community is considered effective enough to restore ethnic identity which was initially quite worrying after the conflict with ethnic Lampung in Balinuraga village, in general, the 4 reconstruction strategies that the researcher put in this thesis have included most of those carried out by the community. Resumen
AbstractIn this article, we attempt to develop a conceptual framework of “ethnic capital” in order to examine the dynamics of immigrant communities. Building on the theories of social capital and the enclave economy, we argue that ethnic capital is not a thing but involves interactive processes of ethnic-specific financial capital, human capital, and social capital. We use case studies of century-old Chinatowns and emerging middle-class immigrant Chinese communities in New York and Los Angeles to illustrate how ethnic capital affects community building and transformation, which in turn influence the social mobility of immigrants. We also discuss how developments in contemporary ethnic enclaves challenge the conventional notion of assimilation and contribute to our understanding of immigrant social mobility.

Resumen
Spatial transformation and building layout of Balinese ethnic dwellings are influenced by the need for residential space and the occupants of the house. The increase in the number of family members in one dwelling impacts increasing the space for living. The development of architectural style as a trend is another factor that changes building layout. This change is a process from the initial state - the spatial and building layout concept of sanga mandala - towards contemporary architecture. These changes are characterized by architectural elements that are subject to change, and the elements that are persistent to change. This research aims to examine the meaning of dualism in the residents of ethnic Balinese residences as a transformation process. The method used in this research is qualitative content analysis, with demographic, economic, and architectural trends approaches and perspectives. The interpretation resulted from the occupants' perceptions of transforming the Balinese ethnic residence in Denpasar. This study's findings are the process of changing the spatial planning and architectural structure of Balinese ethnic houses based on the fundamental concept of dualism in a sanga mandala spatial layout through demographic, economic, and developmental approaches to Balinese architectural trends.

Resumen
Globally, disputes over economic resources often complicated inter-ethnic conflicts. In Kenya, specifically in Bungoma County inter-ethnic economic reasons underpinned 1963 including 1992 conflicts. Objective of the study was to examine the influence of statist inter-ethnic economic integration in management of inter-ethnic conflict in Bungoma. A conceptual framework underpinned by Lederach’s Conflict Transformation and Gultang’s Conflict Triangle guided the study. A descriptive research design was applied. The study was conducted in Bungoma County. Population was sampled by Simple Radom and Purposively. The sample size of 400 participants used was derived from 1375065 population using Yamane 1967 formula. Questionnaires, interviews, Focus Group Discussions and document analysis were instruments used. Microsoft Excel, thematisation, corroboration and verification analysed data. The findings were: Unlike eldership 42%, intermarriage 23% and culture 20%, 15% of respondents agreed that trade initially influenced inter-ethnic co-existence. Its role was alienated and differentiated by colonization. Statist inter-ethnic economic transformation mutated from inter-ethnic inequitable: Economic distribution and access to lack of resources and high population all rated at 16% to inter-ethnic economic political neglect 21%, economic stagnation 15% and competition over resources 17%. Inter-ethnic economic integration diversity policies identified were to be guided by economic equity, population spread and affirmative action. Challenges established were inter-ethnic iniquities in economic, education and development. The study recommends enforcement of inter-ethnic equity policies in resource distribution, jobs and in development.

Resumen
At the beginning of 2021, the Usmanov Center for Research of the Golden Horde and Tatar Khanates (Marjani Institute of History of Tatarstan Academy of Sciences) planned an international research conference: “Transformation of the Political and Ethnic Map of Eastern Europe”. The main issues of the conference turned out to be very popular and relevant, and extremely numerous specialists expressed a desire to take part in it. Therefore, the organizers of the conference decided to hold the planned conference in the form of a triptych. The general picture of medieval political-ethnic transformations was successfully divided into three main formations: the Great Hungarians, Volga Bulghars, and Tatars of the Golden Horde. Quarantine and preventive measures to counter the new coronavirus infection Covid-19 have resulted in the proliferation of online conferences. Thus, the three planned meetings were held in an extended face-to-face format with partial online participation. Thanks to this, a significantly larger number of specialists were able to take part in meetings with presentations on the history of political and ethnic transformations in the territory of medieval Eastern Europe under the influence of the migration factor. The staff of the Center discussed a number of very significant issues of the history of the Great Hungarians, Volga Bulghars, and Tatars of the Golden Horde with colleagues from other research centers of the Russian Federation and foreign countries. As a result, the academic meeting led to ambiguous results on seemingly resolved problems.

Resumen
Democratic transitions are especially complex in federal states and countries with multinational populations and compact, ethnic minority settlements; the increasing ethnic, linguistic, religious, and cultural heterogeneity of a society complicates the achievement of political compromises. In this sense, the post-Soviet newly independent states (NIS) face an especially complex transition pattern. Roman Szporluk, for example, enumerates three different transformations: the dissolution of the imperial structure and the resulting formation of independent states, the transition from a centralized to a market economic system, and the transition from authoritarianism to (at least ideally) a political democracy, with all three "combined or fused in the chaotic and extremely difficult process of formation and transformation of states and nations. " Thus the transition in the NIS is marked by simultaneous developments in the political, economic, social, religious, ideological, and cultural spheres, including the creation or re-creation of ethnic and other identities.

Resumen
Introduction. Based on the analysis of the transformation processes of the linguistic culture of the Urals Mari, the article considers how various types of transformations can give a culture a new potential for its development or have a harmful influence on its foundations. With the prognostic goal the work makes an attempt to outline the structure of the model of language transformations, which is tested on the example of the language culture of the Urals Mari. Materials and Methods. In the framework of cultural interpretation, interviewing, survey and sociological description are applied. Hermeneutical and lingvocultural methods are also used. Results and Discussion. Historically, it was recorded that the changing of the language culture of the Ural Mari was influenced by proximity to other nations, trading activities, borrowing in material culture. The formation of the Mari alphabet gave a fresh impetus to the development of ethnocultural education. Thus, ethnocultural identity was expressed in writing. The language of the ethnos, perceived visually and thus fixing the achievements of culture, contributed to the awareness of the community of the ethos. Analyzing such borrowings, the author comes to the conclusion about positive transformational processes. Negative transformation processes are associated by the author with the mass culture and the loss of ethnocultural values. Mass culture comes along with the loss of traditional types of employment, together with the termination of the study of the language of the ethnic group in the education system. Conclusion. The author comes to the conclusion that the developing the regions of the Urals Mari festival and tourist activities carried out in the language of the super ethnos cannot influence the leveling of the value foundations of culture. First of all, it is necessary to level out the processes that negatively affect the language and culture of the ethnic group.
