This study aims to improve the ability to write descriptions for fifth-grade students of SD Inpres Pabbangiang Gowa Regency which includes the content of ideas, content organization, grammar, diction, and spelling. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were students of class V in Pabbangiang Inpres Elementary School, Gowa Regency, totaling 43 students. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and tests. The entire data obtained is analyzed through stages: data identification, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the results of the pre-action test in the description writing skills of fifth-grade students of Pabbangiang Inpres Elementary School in Gowa Regency which included aspects of the content of ideas, content organization, grammar, diction, and spelling were still lacking. After an action is taken through cycles I and II by applying the semantic mapping strategy in learning to write descriptions, the students' skills increase from the category of being very good. The final results of this study indicate that the application of modeling strategies can improve students' writing skills which include aspects of content ideas, content organization, grammar, diction, and spelling.

While this was the first time in the history of Hungarian theatre that a hyper-realistic iron foundry and foundry workers were presented on the stage of an urban theatre, the play and its performance still follow the beats of a pre-war society comedy both in dramaturgy and diction, even though the coda doesn’t feature the reunion and marriage of lovers, but the triumph of increased production.

For improving the travel time predication ac-curacy, a travel time predication model based multi-source data fusion is proposed. The prediction procedure is divided into two phases, the estimation phase and the prediction phase The method is combined the historical traffic patterns with real-time traffic data as a linear. The resulting model is tested with realistic traffic data, and is found to perform well.

Based on the study of several methods involved in getting the benefit of extracting the inter-view redundancy, a new technique is suggested in this paper. The complexity of choosing the reference frames for different views is simplified. Starting with the camera placed in the center of the scene and predicting its frames from the left, right and the middle view, a map table is created per MB (Macro Block). This map table is simply extended to all the other views for respective inter-view prediction. This method of inter-view prediction applies the best for low to medium motion pictures. The complexity is way reduced as only one of the view’s prediction is derived and the same is comprehended to all other views. The method of a variable reference frame buffer where one frame from each of the buffers is stored also contributes to the reduction in complexity of the approach to inter-view prediction. Using the standard multi-view test sequences, few experimental results had proved that this approach can be opted for low motion sequences with a lesser complexity and improved compression with a coding gain of ~30%. The quality loss in PSNR (Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio) is negligible with a loss of 0.2dB.Â

Traffic flow prediction is one of the basic, key problems with developing an intelligent transportation system since accurate and timely traffic flow prediction can provide information support and decision support for traffic control and guidance. However, due to the complex characteristics of traffic information, it is still a challenging task. This paper proposes a novel hybrid deep learning model for short-term traffic flow prediction by considering the inherent features of traffic data. The proposed model consists of three components: the recent, daily and weekly components. The recent component is integrated with an improved graph convolutional network (GCN) and bi-directional LSTM (Bi-LSTM). It is designed to capture spatiotemporal features. The remaining two components are built by multi-layer Bi-LSTM. They are developed to extract the periodic features. The proposed model focus on the important information by using an attention mechanism. We tested the performance of our model with a real-world traffic dataset and the experimental results indicate that our model has better prediction performance than those developed previously.

One of the active skills required not only in the field of academe for students but also in the industry world with degree holder employees that cause predicament in both areas is writing. Writing is one of the hurdles of different companies with their degree holder employees. Similarly, in the context of the academe, it is also found by previous studies that students are coping in writing academic essays and other writing outputs. The study aims to determine the effectiveness of interactive writing technique in intensifying basic writing skills to produce competent employees both in the academe and in the business world. This study also sought to address the predicament of students’ and employees’ low-level proficiency in basic writing. Interactive Writing is a collaborative technique used to enhance the level of proficiency when it comes to the organization of ideas, diction, elaboration, support and writing mechanics. Purposively, using these objectives: To investigate the level of English major’s writing proficiency in pre-test and post-test along with content, mechanics, organization, diction, elaboration, and support; to identify the level of effectiveness of the interactive technique and be able to establish an output based on the research findings. The study used a mixed-method design. Three phases of data gathering procedure were employed namely; pre-test, intervention, and post-test. Pre-test and Post-test were compared using the t-test and analyzed using the Error Density Index of Malicsi (2018). Results of the study unveil that students writing in the post-test improved from the pre-test general weighted mean of 2.28 interpreted as "developing" to 2.58 general weighted mean in the post-test interpreted as "approaching proficiency", indicating that there is an improvement in the writing proficiency of the students after various interventions using the Interactive Writing Technique. Moreover, these results were advertised and employed in producing a teacher and student module to continuously strengthen and amplify student's basic writing skills.

Writing poetry is often considered challenging for elementary school students due to a lack of imagination, mastery of diction, and limited use of relevant teaching media. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using visual media in improving the poetry writing skills of elementary school students. The study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental "one group pretest-posttest" design involving a sample of 9 fifth-grade students from SDN Baros Mandiri 5, selected randomly. Data were collected through pretests and posttests using a poetry writing assessment rubric that included five aspects: diction, figurative language, rhyme, theme coherence, and typography. Data analysis was conducted using a paired t-test. The results showed an increase in the average posttest score (61.7) compared to the pretest score (50.9), with a difference of 10.8 points. The paired t-test yielded a value of t=−5.21 and p<0.001, indicating that the use of visual media was effective in enhancing poetry writing skills. Visual media proved to motivate students, stimulate their imagination, and assist them in creatively expressing their ideas in poetry. However, this study was limited by the small sample size and the absence of a control group, suggesting the need for further research with a more comprehensive design to strengthen the findings.

This article presents the results of the authors' research on the construction of a pre-diction map with the division of an explosive potassium formation of the KPII stratum into haz-ardous and non-hazardous areas in the conditions of the mine field of the EuroChem Usolskiy potash mine, it is discovered that the decision rules developed for the other potash mines of the Verkhnekamskoye potash deposit are fundamentally unsuitable for the site concerned and re-quire revision, options of improvement the decision rule are proposed. Recommendations for safe mining operations, implicating a change of the existing mining technology, are presented at the end of the article.

The study of vocabulary can be considered a chief issue which the second language students encounter within the learning of another language especially, for non-English major students. This study aims at assessing the influence of a suggested program for enhancing EFL students` vocabulary and vocabulary learning strategies use. The sample of this study consists of (123) females, it is parted into two sections; the experimental group consists of 55 female students and the control group consists of 68 female students. During the course of the study, learners were randomly chosen and randomly were divided into the experimental and control groups. The aim of the study is twofold: (a) to assess if there exist notable discrepancies between these two groups on the English Language Vocabulary post-test and vocabulary language learning strategies. The study also aims to analyze if there exist important discrepancies in the mean grades of pre and post-test of the English Language Vocabulary test and vocabulary language learning strategies. The research applied will continue for 12 weeks throughout the second semester which includes the proposed program. Students` vocabulary learning strategies were measured by Schmitt’s (1997) questionnaire. This questionnaire contains 58 items covering five main strategies that are determination plans, social plans, memory tactics, cognitive plans and meta-cognitive programs. While the Students` English Language Vocabulary size was measured by English Language vocabulary test that was designed by the researchers. The research accomplished lasted for three months that encompasses the suggested plan. The gathered data demonstrated that there existed statistically important discrepancies between the experimental group and the control group on the post-test, in which the experimental one was more bolded. It also uncovred that there existed statistically important discrepancies among the pre-test and post-test outcomes for the experimental group on the diction examination. Moreover, the grades depicted that there existed statistically notable discrepancies among the experimental group and its counterpart. The data of the present research have notable insinuations for the learners and make an enhanced case for the study of diction and vocabulary.

The polymorphism of the gene of inducible NO-synthase (iNOS) was studied in 65 children with bronchial asthma (BA). The goal was to determine the probability to achieve the BA control in children against the background of inhalation glucocorticosteroid (IGCS) therapy depending on the polymorphism of the iNOS gene. The genotype of polymorphism of the iNOS gene was studied by the method of polymerase chain reaction. It has been found that the achievement of BA control in children against the background of the IGCS treatment is associated with the carriage of homozygote of «wild» allele G of polymorphism G954C of the iNOS gene. The absence of BA control is related to the presence of pathological allele . The result obtained can favor the pre С - diction of the uncontrollable BA course in children.

Abstract: A popular (though not necessarily scientifically validated) theory holds that reading fiction builds empathy. Because literary characters are media representations, limited and defined by point-of-view, diction, and readers’ pre-existing stereotypes, they tend not to elicit empathy in a fair, even manner. This essay will explore such questions as whether certain characteristics elicit greater empathy than others and whether empathy is always genuine or the result of readers’ social pressure to react in a certain manner. To answer these questions, cognitive psychology theories are used to examine how empathy is created—or not created—for literary characters who experience trauma in Virginia Woolf’s novel Mrs. Dalloway . This analysis will involve two variables: the mental activity of readers and the mental activity of characters within a fictional text.

One of the primary causes of death in Indonesia is heart attacks. Therefore, an effective method of pre-diction is required to determine whether a patient is experiencing a heart attack. One efficient approach is to use machine learning models. However, it is still rare to find machine learning models that have good performance in predicting heart attacks. This study aims to develop a machine learning model on Logistic Regression algorithm in predicting heart attack. Logistic Regression is one of the machine learning meth-ods that can be used to study the relationship between a binary response variable [0,1] and a set of pre-dictor variables, and can be used directly to calculate probabilities. In this study, a random state is ini-tialized in the Logistic Regression model in order to stabilize the training of the machine learning model and increase the precision of the proposed method. The results of this study show that the proposed model can be a method that has good performance in predicting heart attack disease.

<abstract> <p>The study of DNA binding proteins (DBPs) is of great importance in the biomedical field and plays a key role in this field. At present, many researchers are working on the prediction and detection of DBPs. Traditional DBP prediction mainly uses machine learning methods. Although these methods can obtain relatively high pre-diction accuracy, they consume large quantities of human effort and material resources. Transfer learning has certain advantages in dealing with such prediction problems. Therefore, in the present study, two features were extracted from a protein sequence, a transfer learning method was used, and two classical transfer learning algorithms were compared to transfer samples and construct data sets. In the final step, DBPs are detected by building a deep learning neural network model in a way that uses attention mechanisms.</p> </abstract>

The prediction of new links in social networks is a challeng- ing task. In this paper, we focus on predicting links in net- works of face-to-face spatial proximity by using information from online social networks, such as co-authorship networks in DBLP, and a number of node level attributes. First, we analyze influence factors for the link prediction task. Then, we propose a novel method that combines information from different networks and node level attributes for the pre- diction task: We introduce an unsupervised link prediction method based on rooted random walks, and show that it out- performs state-of-the-art unsupervised link prediction meth- ods. We present an evaluation using three real-world datasets. Furthermore, we discuss the impact of our results and of the insights we glean in the field of link prediction and human contact behavior.

Software economics, acquisition, and pricing are important con- cerns for Systems-of-Systems (SoS). SoS are alliances of independent software- intensive systems combined to offer holistic functionalities as a result of the con- stituents interoperability. SoS engineering involves separately acquiring con- stituents and combining them to form the SoS. Despite the existence of cost pre- diction techniques, predicting SoS acquisition costs at design-time should also include the analysis of different suppliers of constituents, their respective prices and quality. However, known methods cover only two out of these three param- eters. The main contribution of this article is to present the S.O.B. (Save Our Budget) method, a novel simulation-based method to predict, at design-time, the acquisition cost of constituents, while still considering quality attributes and different suppliers. Results of a case study in the Smart Building domain re- vealed that S.O.B. method supports a precise prediction of acquisition cost of constituents to build a SoS for that domain. Furthermore, it also contributes to estimate the cost based on a pre-established quality attribute (functional suit- ability), as well as to support the selection of coalition that exhibits better results through the analysis of cost-benefit ratio.

In this paper we tried to demonstrate the power of a story in the function of language literacy. We are going to build up our argument from the general premises of the cultural psychologist Jerome Bruner dispersed in many of his books, which postulate that our experience of ourselves and the world is structured in a narrative form – like a story. We think that the best way to acquire language literacy is to start from a story and then to proceed to language. Listening to stories (told or read by a teacher) equips students with the skills and attitudes that afterwards enable easier acquisition of pre-reading and reading skills. Such pre-reading skills are making distinction between written and spoken language, recognition of articulation, intonation and diction in language, and understanding that language is always entangled in meaning. The studies have shown that having access to imaginative and properly structured stories adequate for students’ developmental level is very important and beneficial for understanding of how language works. Language and stories are essentially interconnected and one cannot exist without the other and that is why the structure of narratives discloses the structure of language.

Different from the reliability prediction method on handbook, the reliability prediction method based on Physics of Failure (PoF) model takes failure mechanism as theoretical basis, and combines the design in-formation with the environment stress of the product to predict the time to failure. When the uncertain of the parameters is considered to predict the reliability, Monte-Carlo calculation method is always used here. How-ever, the Monte-Carlo method needs large computational cost, especially for large and complicated electronic systems. A new reliability prediction method which combines the first order reliability with the reliability pre-diction method based on PoF model was proposed. The new method utilized the first order method to calculate the position of design point and reliability index, thus Monte-Carlo calculation process was avoided. Example calculation results showed that the new method improves the prediction efficiency without decreasing the accuracy of reliability, thus it is feasible for reliability prediction of electronic product in engineering.

This research aims to characterize the teaching of read-aloud with kitāb-mubtadi' in Silsilah-Lisān. Evaluating on it based on Kurikulum Merdeka's need analysis. This study is experiment evaluation, data collected from test and observation. Data analysis by Miles and Huberman model, with collecting, displaying, reducing and conclusions. Sample is 177 students of UIN Walisongo. The result is Pre-test started with equivalent value 58.59. The research passed on 16 subject-materials and ended with the post-test and equivalent value is 60,65. The result of the differences in the value of the average was 2.06 in the grade of C. So, the use of kitāb-mubtadi' was not effective on it. The evaluation is a) Project-based learning evaluation, b) Using read-aloud in public speaking training, c) Suiting the study plan with the theory of read-aloud, including the competencies of vocal performance, intonation, and diction, d) applied in local culture topics.

This investigation focused on the speech profile of pre-service teachers during the school year 2022- 2023 as input for a speech enhancement program and innovations. Specifically, attempts to determine the socio-demographic characteristics of respondents in terms of gender, age, high school type graduated, parents’ educational attainment, employment status, and estimated monthly income; determine speech profile in terms of Vocal Mechanism and Diction; identify their strengths and weaknesses in speech production; determine the significant relationship between speech profile and socio- demographic characteristics; and determine whether speech enhancement program or innovations may be introduced to improve weaknesses in speech production. A descriptive survey research design was used to gather information on the basic and speech profiles of 40 respondents. Results revealed, that respondents were generally female, 20-22 years old, graduated from public senior high school, with high school graduate parents, unemployed, and earned PhP 4,000- PhP8,000. Results showed that respondents were very strong in loudness, articulation, pronunciation, and even in reading rate. However, a closer examination of the data reveals that at least one-third were slow readers. Furthermore, an analysis revealed that females have louder voices than males, demonstrating a substantial relationship between gender and loudness of voice. As evidenced by the extremely significant relationship between rate and gender, females read faster than males. Results also showed that those with working moms could talk more articulately than those with jobless mothers. Finally, results demonstrated that pronunciation is unrelated to any demographic characteristics. <p class="normal" align="center"><span lang="EN-US">Writing poetry learning is a productive learning activity. Based on the results of interviewing teachers, there are problems in writing poetry learning at Vocational High School 1 Sukoharjo, which is difficult for the students to determine the themes, the use of diction and the less different metaphors, and the mismatch of the message with the contents of the poem. Besides, the students' motivation in following the lesson is still low. This study aims to improve learning motivation and writing skills with audiovisual media. This research is class action research that is held two-cycle. Each cycle consists of action planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data research sources are through learning activity, informan, and documents. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and test. The validity of data was investigated through triangulation techniques of data sources and methods. The data analysis technique used in this research are comparative descriptive techniques and critical analysis technique. The results showed that the use of audiovisual media could increase learning motivation by 5.71% in pre-action, 61,76% in the first cycle, and 97,14% in the second cycle. The use of audiovisual media can also improve students' poetry writing skills by 17% in pre-action, 66% in the first cycle, and 91% in the second cycle.</span></p>

As an action research in nature, the research aimed to test the progress of the students’ ESP writing skills when guided writing technique is implemented in writing class and to know the ESP students’ attitude towards guided writing technique. This action research is conducted in two cycles. In collecting the data, the researcher uses qualitative and quantitave technique. The qualitative data are obtained from observation, interview, and test analysis. The qualitative data are supported by quantitative data that are the mean score of students’ pre-test and post-test on ESP writing. The procedure of guided writing which is implemented in ESP writing class are model paragraph, comprehension questions, language based exercises, oral composition, and written composition. After the analysis of data collected through test items, it was seen improvement in students’ ESP writing skills in post-test than in pre-test. The students have shown their improvement such as they are able to construct sentences correctly. They could use appropriate language use when created the pattern of tenses, article, preposition, pronoun, conjunction, and part of speech and also they used better mechanical aspects in writing like capitalization, punctuation, and spelling in post-test than in pretest. Moreover, they can use correct ESP diction on their writing after implemented this technique. The ESP students’ attitudes also were enthusiastic and more active involved in ESP writing class.

The vulva-vaginal thrombus or puerperal haematoma results from an under mucous shearing of the vulva’s connective tissue, the vagina or of the parameters causing vascular wounds leading into a dissecting haemorrhage. It is a rare pathology with a wide incidence range. We are relating a case of voluminous genitalia thrombus treated at the maternity of Le Dantec’s Teaching Hospital in Dakar. The literature review reveals a global lack of consensus on this pathology. The aetiologies are various and the fac- tors of risks are dominated by the episiotomy and the instrumental extractions and the primipara. The main symptom is often atrocious pain. The treatment, which is not unanimous, is subjected to many controversies. The aggressive surgical treatment that depends on the lesion check up must be quick and effective because the puerperal haematoma can involve the vital pre- diction. The elective embolism seems the most entic- ing and less risky technique unless you have an ade- quate staff and technical plateau. The prevention remains unfortunately random particularly since the haematoma may occur during a normal delivery.

Arabization is one of the manifestations of the convergence of the Arabic language with other languages at the level of vocabulary. It is also a genius means of enriching the language. It is a unique phenomenon that enriches verbal wealth in any scientific or social field. Arabization is not a new phenomenon in the Arabic language because it was not an isolated area in the Arab nation. In pre-Islamic times, it was used for connections with neighboring nations, such as the Persians, Ethiopians, Romans, Syriacs, Nabataeans, and others. Naturally, this contact was followed by linguistic friction between Arabic and the languages of those nations. The circumstances led to many other languages borrowing words from Arabic. Hausa is a clear example where a large diction of Arabic loaned words is in use. Arabization is a long-standing communicative relationship between the Arabs and the Hausas. The abundance of Arabization in the Hausa language is due to three things: (i) commercial activities and relationships, (ii) the spread of the Hausa language and its place in academia, and (iii) religious activities. So far, Arabic loan words are being used in the Hausa language, covering varieties of socio-economic domains of life.

Fire protection systems utilize detectors that process signals from fire sensors using threshold-based methods and gen-erate a fire signal based on a logical function. Artificial neural networks can enhance these detectors by processing in-formation from a network of sensors after being trained. To train these neural networks, extensive data sets are neces-sary, which can be obtained through fire simulations on a supercomputer. Field tests are costly, subject to random fac-tors, limited to one or two rooms, and do not provide a comprehensive picture of fire development. Thus, designing intelligent fire systems falls under model-based design. Through modeling, large data sets were generated for training fire system algorithms, expanding the range of tasks they can address. A group of neural networks is proposed for op-timizing the placement of multi-parameter sensors, identifying the type of burning material, detecting fires at early stages, and localizing the fire zone to select appropriate extinguishing agents. Artificial neural networks enable the pre-diction of fire development, mapping hazardous factors' distribution to find optimal evacuation routes. An example of model-based design for a ship fire protection system is provided.

Real estate price prediction is one of the key research topics contemporarily. Based on the rapid development of Big Data, machine learning has gradually become the mainstream tool for housing price prediction. The XGboost and LightGBM models, as new advanced mod-els in recent years, have received widespread attention in the application in housing price prediction. Therefore, this study identifies the house price prediction based on XGboost model and LightGBM model and compares them with other models in order to obtain an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of these two models in housing price predic-tion. According to the analysis, both models have ad-vantages such as high accuracy, high efficiency, and fast training speed. However, although XGboost has the smallest error pre-diction, it requires more computational time, thereby increasing computational costs. In ad-dition, LightGBM has disadvantages such as high overfitting risk in small sample sizes and increased sensitivity in noisy datasets. Therefore, besides the model studied in this article, feature selection methods such as Filter and Wrapper can also be introduced in subsequent studies to further improve the prediction accuracy.

Due to disparities in tolerance, resource availability, and acquisition of labeled training data between satellite-terrestrial integrated networks (STINs) and terrestrial networks, the application of traditional terrestrial network intrusion detection techniques to satellite networks poses significant challenges. This paper presents a satellite network intrusion detection system named Bi-LSTM sparse selfencoder (BLSAE-SNIDS) to address this issue. Through the development of an innovative unsupervised training Bi-LSTM stacked self-encoder, BLSAE-SNIDS facilitates feature extraction from satellite network traffic, diminishes dimensionality, considerably reduces training and testing durations, and enhances the attack pre diction accuracy of the classifier. To assess the efficacy of the proposed model, we conduct comprehensive experiments utilizing STIN and UNSW-NB15 datasets. The results obtained from the STIN dataset demonstrate that BLSAE-SNIDS achieves 99.99% accuracy with reduced computational and transmission overheads alongside enhanced flexibility. Furthermore, results from the UNSW-NB15 dataset exhibit BLSAE-SNIDS? proficiency in detecting various network intrusion attacks efficiently. These findings indicate that BLSAE-SNIDS suits general satellite security networks and offers a novel approach to designing security systems for polar satellite networks, thus exhibiting practical utility.

This paper aims at using a strategy of categorizing EFL Shaqra University students' writing errors and identifying its effect in improving students' writing. The study hypothesized that categorizing students' errors into main headings related to the types of error, frequencies of error, examples of errors, and causes of errors will provide precise insight into the nature of students' errors. Moreover, providing students with models to read and extract the difficult vocabularies from them, understanding their meanings, and using them in their writing will improve students' writing. Hence, the researcher gave 65 female students a title to write about in lecture number one as a pre-test. The title was "women driving in Saudi Arabia", and in lecture number eleven, she gave them a post-tester in the same title after applying the hypothesized teaching strategy. The findings of students' essay analysis in the pre-test proved that students had many grammatical and lexical mistakes but in the post-test the students writing improved significantly in terms of style, diction, developing ideas, spelling, and punctuation. Even their errors decreased from 936 errors in the pre-test to 57 errors in the post-test which indicates the success of the teaching strategy adopted by the researcher. Accordingly, the researcher recommended that: firstly, instructors should categorize their students' writing errors to have a clear insight into the nature of their students' errors hence specifying much time in explaining the areas of students' weaknesses. Secondly, instructors should provide students with a well-written model to read; and then ask them to criticize those reading models. The students will learn through criticizing and imitating the style of reading models. Moreover, the instructors of Shaqraa should specify much time explaining morphology since it was the branch that the students make many errors in it.

Speaking ability is a key element of language skills in elementary school education that contributes to students' academic and social development. However, this skill often receives less attention in the learning process. This study aims to examine the effect of the retelling method on improving the speaking skills of Phase C elementary school students. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 10 randomly selected fifth-grade students. The research instrument was a speaking skills rubric measuring five main aspects: fluency, diction, sentence structure, comprehension, and communicative aspects. Data were analyzed using a paired t-test to evaluate significant differences between the pretest and posttest results. The findings showed that the retelling method had a significant impact on improving students' speaking skills. The average pretest score of 57.50 increased to 76.50 in the posttest, with a significant difference (p < 0.001). This method not only enhanced students' speaking abilities but also reduced their anxiety in public speaking. The study concluded that the retelling method effectively improved the speaking skills of Phase C elementary school students and is therefore recommended for integration into learning. Additionally, this research opens opportunities to develop the implementation of the retelling method by utilizing digital technology for more optimal results.

Penulis menemukan banyak persamaan dan perbedaan dalam syair-syair ghazal kedua penyair Arab tersebut. Pemilihan diksi yang mudah dicerna pembaca dan pendengar serta isi syair tentang cinta sejati menjadi titik persamaan di antara mereka. Namun, di samping itu, gaya bahasa yang dipakai Ahmad Syauqi dalam syairnya menitikberatkan pada gaya seorang orator yang sedang merayu sang kekasih. Sedangkan Antarah berusaha meramu syairnya sehingga menjadi sebuah kisah cinta yang romantis.---Abstract Antarah Al-Absy was one famous poet in the pre-Islamic time of Arab which was renowned as a strong young man so feared by his opponents. While Ahmad Syauqi who was famous as a poet of modern times dubbed as Amir As-syu'ara. The author found a lot of similarities and differences in the their ghazal poetries. Selection of diction that is easy understood by the readers and listeners as well as content poem about true love are the point of similarities between them. However, in addition, the style of language used in Ahmad Syauqi’s poem focuses on the style of an orator who is seducing her lover. While Antarah try concocting his verse so that it becomes a romantic love story.

The Qur'anic reading tradition's approach to Arabic linguistic thought was largely prefigured by the desire to preserve physically the oral language of scripture, ensuring its textual integrity was never compromised. Qur'anic readers evolved rudimentary models of linguistic thought which were purposefully anchored to the service of scripture. These readers devised improvements in orthography; they devoted treatises to the articulation of scripture, defining the conventions therein; and they collated with precision the stock of readings enshrined within the Qur'anic canon. These functional linguistic procedures were designed to project meticulously the liturgical and spiritual value of scripture; moreover, they were governed by the pre-eminent ascendancy of precedents. This linguistic activity served as a catalyst for Arabic linguistic thought. Emerging from the ranks of these readers are figures who sought to relate the linguistic phenomena inherent in the corpus of Qur'anic readings to a theory of language; paradoxically, the very models of grammar and philology which were discerningly formulated for the service of scripture become the standard by which the linguistic configurations of the Qur'anic diction are appraised and justified. The strictures of authentication adhered to by readers predicated an implicit rejection of the abstract inquisitiveness practised by these linguists. And therein lies the history of the genesis of Arabic linguistic thought which this article will attempt to expound upon.

Quantitative investments can be effective in reducing losses. It plays an important role in the pre-diction of the market. Due to this, more and more investors are paying attention to it. Trade Strategy Model and other models are used to predict price and make the decision. In Data Mining (DM), quantile values, advance rate, and decline rate are utilized to determine relative likelihood. Furthermore, the Apriori algorithm is used to calculate the number of continuous rises and falls that occur with a probability greater than 90%. To determine the amount of dollars to be purchased or sold in the shipment space, we establish a Position-Management Model (PMM). Finally, we introduce the Decision-Making Model (DMM) as a tool for trading decisions. We then plug $1000 into the model to arrive at $1958.37 in 2021. Based on the comparison of the predicted price and the real price from 2019-9-1 to 2019-10-31, we found a slight deviation between the predicted and the real price. As part of our verification process, we used the BackTesting method and selected the indicator "annual return rate," whose test showed an average of 17.687%, an excellent result. Afterward, we provide a summary of the strategy process for assisting its quantitative trading investment. To conclude, our models are distinguished by their precise values.

On 29 January 2007, Pre-Trial Chamber I of the International Criminal Court (the ICC) handed down its decision confirming the charges brought against Thomas Lubanga Dyilo, the first defendant to appear before the Court. In this and earlier decisions in the case, the Chamber has said a number of interesting things about the admissibility of cases before the Court, the elements of the war crime of child recruitment and the modes of liability under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (the Rome Statute).140More generally, however, the Chamber's actions also say much about the role the judges of the ICC see themselves as undertaking in the Court's proceedings.Thomas Lubanga is a national of the Democratic Republic of Congo (the DRC). He describes himself as a politician. It is alleged that from its foundation in 2000 he has been the leader of theUnion des patriots congolais(the UPC) and commander-in-chief of its military wing, theForces patriotiques pour la liberation du Congo(the FPLC). From mid-2002 to the end of 2003, the FPLC was engaged in fighting in the region of Ituri in the DRC. During the conflict, the UPC/FPLC is alleged to have committed numerous atrocities, including the widespread recruitment of children into its ranks.141The DRC had become a party to the Rome Statute on 11 April 2002 and, accordingly, the Statute entered into force for it on 1 July 2002, the date of the Court's establishment. Following strong hints from the Prosecutor,142on 19 April 2004 the President of the DRC referrred to the Court ‘the situation of crimes within the juris- diction of the Court allegedly committed anywhere in the territory of the DRC since the entry into force of the Rome Statute’.143On 23 June 2004, the Prosecutor opened an investigation into the situation, the ICC's first.144On 19 March 2005, Lubanga was arrested and detained by the DRC authorities, and charged with genocide, crimes against humanity, murder, illegal detention and torture in relation to crimes alleged committed between May 2003 and February 2005. The thin-layer drying kinetics of lemon verbena leaves were studied by using a solar cabinet dryer at air tempera-ture (at three levels of 30, 40, and 50°C), air velocity (at three levels of 2, 2.5, and 3 m/s), and mesh tray size (3, 6, and 10 mm). A completely randomized factorial design was used to analyze the effect of independent factors on drying time and essential oil yield. Results showed that all experiments have shorter drying time and higher essen-tial oil content than the shade-drying method. Also, the best drying conditions that led to an optimal essential oil yield (1.73 mL/g DM) involved a lower temperature (30°C) and velocity (2 m/s) and a mesh size of 10 mm. A good adaptation between the experimental and the predicted moisture content was observed, whereby the statistical criteria of R2, root mean square error, and k2 were calculated as 0.99, 0.08, and 0.01, respectively. Practical applicationsIn the current study, the effect of different drying states such as air velocity and drying temperature was studied on the drying behaviors and essential oil contents of lemon verbena leaves. The obtained results can lead us to a suitable drying condition that can be used in the subsequent designation of systems. Also, a mathematical model for the pre-diction of the leaves’ drying kinetics was constructed and evaluated, which could be approached in the drying systems.

<em>This study aims to improve speaking skills through the use of audiovisual media in class IB SD Negeri Suro, Kalibagor District. Speaking skills observed in this study include linguistic and non-linguistic aspects. In the linguistic aspect, it consists of stress, speech, vocabulary / diction, and sentence structure, while in the non-linguistic aspect it consists of fluency, disclosure of speech material, courage and attitude. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were 22 students of SD Negeri Suro class IB. The research design used includes the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The data collection instruments used were performance tests, teacher and student observation sheets and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative data analysis. This study shows that the use of audiovisual media can improve the speaking skills of grade IB SD Negeri Suro students in terms of process and outcome. The process improvement is seen from the average results of student activity observations which are included in the good category in the first cycle with a percentage of 45.5% increasing in the second cycle to 68% and are included in the very good category. In terms of results, it is evidenced by the average value of students' speaking skills in pre-action 67.54 increased to 73.05 in cycle I and increased to 75.64 in cycle II. </em>

Blasting demolition is a popular method in the area of building demolishing. Due to the complex process of the building components’ collapse, it is difficult to predict the collapse-induced ground vibrations. As the accuracy of the empirical equation in predicting the collapse-induced ground vibration is not high, there is a significant risk of damage to the surrounding structures. To mitigate this risk, it is necessary to control and predict the peak particle velocity (PPV) and dominant frequency of ground vibration with higher accuracy. In this study, the parameters on the PPV and frequency of collapse-induced ground vibration are analyzed based on the Hertz theory. Then, fall tests are performed to simulate the collapse process of structural components and to investigate the characteristics of influential parameters on PPV and frequency. Using kernel density estimation (KDE) and Pearson correlation, the PPV and frequency are correlated with the distance from the falling point to the monitored point (R) and the mass of the falling structural component (M). Using recorded ground vibration data, the PPV and frequency are predicted using an extreme learning machine in combination with gray wolf optimization. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm is compared with other predictive models. The results indicate that the accuracy pre-diction of the proposed algorithm is better than those of plain extreme learning machines and the empirical equations, which indicates that the approach can be applied for PPV and frequency prediction of collapse-induced ground vibrations during blasting demolition.

This study aims to describe the effect of using the Inside Outside Circle Model (Small Circle-Large Circle) on Students' Poetry Writing Skills. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The population in this study amounted to 257 students and a sample of 55 students which was divided into two classes, the experimental class and the control class. The sampling method is using purposive sampling. The instrument in this study used a performance test with aspects of theme, diction, imagery and figurative language assessment. Data analysis shows that the Inside Outside Circle (small circle-big circle) model has an effect on learning to write poetry in Indonesian language subjects in the experimental class. This is evidenced by an increase in student scores, which at the time of the pre-test the mean (X ) was 72.56. After applying the Inside Outside Circle learning model (small circle-big circle) in the learning process at the post-test time, the average value (X ) was 87.4. This can be seen from the results of the comparison of tcount with ttable (4.73 > 2.021), because tcount is greater than ttable then Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of the experimental class students who were taught by the Inside Outside Circle learning model (small circle-big circle) were better than the learning outcomes of the control class students who were taught using conventional methods.

Cryptocurrencies have become an important financial asset for com- panies, governments and civilians, being accepted for financial transactions in place of traditional currencies. However, cryptocurrencies, which are attractive for some reasons such as not having government control, have high volatility, making price predictions important in order to have a basis for deciding when to buy and when to sell this type of asset, in order to maximize profits. As pre- diction by people demands a specialist, which is expensive and also subject to biases and errors, several studies have investigated the application of artificial intelligence computational techniques for prediction. This study investigates the application of an LSTM neural network for predicting the price of the Bitcoin cryptocurrency in Reais, analyzing parameters of the neural network, together with the network modeling for the prediction of a single value for a given future time horizon and the prediction of multiple values for multiple future instants of time. The results obtained indicate that the single output model has a good performance for short-term loss, mainly in the prediction for the next day (horizon 1) with a mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) of 2.57% in its best configuration, however this error is not linearly scalable when the prediction horizon is increased. The multiple-output model produced higher MAPE values for short-term predictions (horizons 1, 3 and 5), however the error increase rate is lower than that of the simple horizon model.

Learning to write geguritan is one of the materials that are difficult for students to master. Limited diction, students' disinterest in learning literature, teachers who are less creative in learning, and students' difficulties in getting ideas are the main factors of student difficulties. Knowing these problems, the researchers are trying to improve students' skills in writing geguritan using the 3M learning method using short film media. The researcher used the penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) method with 32 students in class IX B, SMP Negeri Kroya, as the subject. PTK is carried out in two cycles, which produce data based on test and non-test instruments. The data analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative. In the pre-cycle action, the average value is 73, this value is in the sufficient category. Cycle 1 increased the average score to 75 in the sufficient category, but there were still 17 students whose scores were below the KKM. Observation results in cycle 1 with the target teacher showing a score of 81, while student observations get a value of 80. The average value of cycle 2 is 85 with a good category, the observations show that the teacher's score obtained is 90 with a good predicate, while students get a score of 95 or a very good predicate. Increasing students' skills in writing geguritan brings positive changes. Students become more active in asking questions to the teacher, discussing with friends, and enthusiastic in participating in learning.

Abstract. Non-surgical correction of class II skeletal malocclusions begins at an early age, during the growth and development of the jaw. Treatments tend to be relatively long and generate financial commitments for the family. Predict-ing the success and stability of the results can be helpful for parents who wish to know about the prognosis and make the right decision to start treatment. This work reports the findings of the prediction of the response to treatment of a skel-etal class II malocclusion and its long-term stability in a thirteen-year-old male patient. The individual prediction cephalometric model of Baccetti and Franchi was applied. According to this indicator, the treatment of this patient would re-sult in “a great response”. The patient was treated with a Herbst-type fixed man-dibular anterior projection appliance, followed by brackets for the final detailing of the occlusion. Sixteen years later, after finishing treatment, the correction of the Class II malocclusion, the overbite and the harmony in the profile with the projection of the mandible forwards are maintained by the increase in the total mandibular length (13 mm), and through the opening of the angle between the ramus and mandibular body from 122° to 128°. In conclusion, the individual pre-diction cephalometric model applied, particularly in this case report, allowed us to accurately predict the excellent response and stability of the facial, dental and skeletal results of the class II skeletal malocclusion treatment.

Human milk includes, in addition to various bioactive molecules and microorganisms, that make up the “human milk microbiota (HMM)”. The breast milk microbiome is essential in gastrointestinal coloni¬zation of microbiome in children during the first 100 days of life. Microbial imbalance can be a starting point for necrotizing enterocolitis in premature infants, and can also contribute to the development of chronic diseases such as asthma and obesity later in life. In medical and biomedical research, particularly breast milk microbiome research, the use of surveys is often resorted to assess changes in the status of certain groups over a certain period. These questionnaires can focus on a specific sample and serve as an objective tool for professionals to acquire additional information. Creating a new questionnaire can be quite a challenge. The main difficulty lies in the development of an effective questionnaire for research and clinical use, meeting all legal frameworks, as well as the subsequent handling of sensitive data. The purpose of this study was to present the great need and difficulties in designing an effective survey for our research objectives. Research aimed at establishing the microbiome of breast milk and the associated pre¬diction of the gastrointestinal microbiome of the newborn has been of great importance recently. We have presented sample custom surveys that we have used to prepare and conduct various microbiome studies, and we believe that good preparation of an appropriate questionnaire contributes immensely to the overall completion of any biomedical study.

As ecotourism continues to grow in Vietnam, the potential and willingness to pay (WTP) for eco-services need to be assessed. The focus of this was in the Natural Bird Park in Bien Bach Dong commune of Thoi Binh District, Ca Mau Province. WTP estimation during the period of 2020 to 2025 shows that the choice of payment level will range from 10,000 to 25,000 VND. The pre- diction for 2026 to 2030 the prices of 20,000and 25,000 VND was chosen as the highest rates. The regression equation of stage 1 showed adjusted R2 = 0.514; which means that 51.4% of the variability of the dependent variable can be explained by the studied model. The regression results also showed that the positive impact of education level (X3), occupation (F), income (X4) on the WTP are statistically significant (p<0.05). In contrast, the related variables such as gender (D) and number of trips (X5) had an negative effect on WTP. In the stage 2, a positive interaction of independent factors such as occupation (F) and income (X4) on the WTP in the period of 2026 to 2030 was also found. Although, the independent variables of age (X1), education (X3) and number of trips (X5) had an negative effect on WTP levels (p<0.05). The adjusted R2 value was equal to 0.438 and this model explained 43.8% of the variation in WTP. The results provide a scientific basis for proposing the appropriate ecotourism solutions in Thoi Binh District, Ca Mau Province.

The purpose of this work is to develop a methodology for the formation of anti-landslide engineering protection based on the application of a risk-based approach. The devel-opment of these methodological approaches is being tested on the territory of the Voronezh re-gion. Research methodology. Consideration of this problem for the territory of the Voronezh region was made on the basis of the methodology of the risk-based approach. An algorithm for implementing the methodology is presented. Areas that differ in the level of landslide hazard are identified. Detailed studies of the geological and hydrogeological structure of the territory of the Voronezh region were carried out to identify risk-oriented factors. The results obtained: The algorithm for implementing the methodology for anti-landslide protection of a specific ob-ject includes the sequential execution of the following steps: identification of landslides; pre-diction of the risk of soil movements and landslides; determination of the structure of possible damage from a landslide, determination of the laws or dependencies of the distribution of dam-age from a landslide, establishment of quantitative characteristics of the measure of the risk of landslides, the stage of determining effective preventive measures that affect the reduction of the risk of landslides, and evaluating their effectiveness. Based on the application of the methodology of the risk-based approach, an effective system of anti-landslide protection has been built, taking into account a set of security-restrictive, engi-neering and technical and special active and passive measures.

Abstract: Despite the availability of advanced technology and easy access to information, many people still rely on traditional methods of seeking medical treatment, such as visiting hospitals and consulting doctors for even minor symptoms. However, this approach can be time-consuming and inefficient, as patients with minor illnesses can take up valuable resources that could be better used to treat more serious cases. As a result, this research proposes a new approach to disease prediction using machine learning. The goal is to develop a predictive model that can accurately identify potential diseases based on a patient's health parameters such as pulse rate, Cholesterol, Blood Pressure etc. Medical records to train and test the model, which demonstrated high accuracy in predicting diseases. This paper uses the machine learning algorithms for predicting chronic disease based on user-provided input data. Its primary goal is to enhance early disease detection and prompt medical intervention using personalized predictions. By training models on relevant datasets, accurate predictions are achieved across various diseases, expanding our understanding and predictive capabilities in healthcare The results of this study suggest that the proposed model could be a useful tool for early diagnosis and treatment of diseases, with the potential to improve healthcare outcomes. Through data-driven insights, this tool aids in reducing medical costs by enabling early intervention and proactive management of medical conditions. Overall, this study highlights the potential of model in healthcare for disease pre-diction and underscores its role in advancing personalized medicine and improving clinical decision-making

This article studies a book al-Sha>mil fi> Bala>ghat al-Qur’a>n and the endeavor of its author, Muhammad Afifudin Dimyathi, in revitalizing the bala>ghi> exegetical studies in Nusantara. Employing a descriptive-analytical method and materials delivered by Afifudin at several occasions, this article attains two main findings. Firstly, the snapshot of al-Sha>mil fi> Bala>ghat al-Qur’a>n at first glance can be understood from three things: the setting of its arrangement, the process of its pre-arrangement, and the process of its arrangement. It is quintessential for whomever to understand those three things in order that the scope, the beginning and the end, and the methodological framework of al-Sha>mil can be comprehended well. Secondly, one of the Afifudin’s endeavors in revitalizing the bala>ghi> exegetical studies in Nusantara is by reasserting and reaffirming the functions of bala>ghah in the context of exegetical Qur’an. In this context, according to him, at least the are five functions of bala>ghah: to reveal the hidden meaning and the implicit meaning from both of the words and the phrases of the Qur’an, to disclose the accuracy of the meaning from the diction of the Qur’an and the secret of its choices, to elucidate the harmony of several words in a verse and of several verses in a surah, to be able to evade misunderstanding or the Qur’an-unwanted understanding, and to help expound mutasha>biha>t verses.

This study aims to test the effectiveness of project-based learning model on the ability to write poetry students of class VIII SMP Negeri 33 Makassar. The data of this research are obtained from the value of learning result before the treatment (pre-test) to know the ability of student poetry writing and postes score to know the poem ability of the students based on the conformity of the content with theme, image, diction, figurative language / language style and typography with using a project-based learning model. The result of pretest data analysis is known that the ability to write poetry is not enough yet because the number of students who score 70 and above has not reached 85% and the ability to write posttest poem is adequate because the number of students who scored 70 upward has reached 85%. The result of inferential analysis also shows that the normalized gain average appears that the sig value. (2-tailed) is 0,000 which is 0.000 <0.05 so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted which means that the average increase in student learning outcomes ≥ 30. In addition the results of inferential statistical analysis also indicate that students' which is performed by using a proportion test with a significant level of 5% obtained Z table = 1.64 where H0 accepted if Z arithmetic ≤ 1.64. Because the value of Z arithmetic is 2.017, H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means student completeness in classical ≥ 85%. So it can be concluded that the use of project-based learning model on the ability of writing poetry meet the criteria effectively.

This paper set out to detail how using musicalization models based on poetry with a focus on local wisdom might improve students' abilities to read and write poetry in the primary school setting. The methodology of this investigation is quantitative. Nonequivalent Control Group Design was utilised for this study, making it a type of quasi-experimental research. This study was conducted at a randomly selected school in Purwakarta. The fifth-graders there split their time between two classes. Methods of data collecting, including both test and non-test methods. Students are tested using an assignment to write poetry, while knowledge is gauged using a reading comprehension form. If all of the prerequisites were met, a t-test was utilised for statistical significance in the data analysis. The study found that teaching primary school students about poetry through musicalization considerably increased their comprehension of the material. This can be shown by comparing pre-and post-test results on children's proficiency in reading and producing poetry using this framework. Students' interest in learning and their ability to write and read poetry benefit from a musical poetry model centred on local knowledge. Their vocabulary is enriched and expanded by the students' early exposure to Purwakarta's sites of local wisdom. Students found it less challenging to select appropriate diction when writing poetry. The students who enjoy making music out of their writing are given an additional creative challenge. Therefore, it appears that a musicalization model with a focus on wisdom can be useful for teaching poetry in primary schools in the modern period of education, which places an emphasis on writing and technology engagement without neglecting the wealth of students' local wisdom.
