Resumen
Graphene growth by thermal decomposition of silicon carbide (SiC) is a technique that produces wafer-scale, single-orientation graphene on an insulating substrate. It is often referred to as epigraphene, and has been thought to be suitable for electronics applications. In particular, high-frequency devices for communication technology or large quantum Hall plateau for metrology applications using epigraphene are expected, which require high carrier mobility. However, the carrier mobility of as-grown epigraphene exhibit the relatively low values of about 1000 cm2/Vs. Fortunately, we can hope to improve this situation by controlling the electronic state of epigraphene by modifying the surface and interface structures. In this paper, the mobility of epigraphene and the factors that govern it will be described, followed by a discussion of attempts that have been made to improve mobility in this field. These understandings are of great importance for next-generation high-speed electronics using graphene.

Resumen
We show that epitaxial graphene on silicon carbide (epigraphene) grown at high temperatures (T >1850 °C) readily acts as material for implementing solar-blind ultraviolet (UV) detectors with outstanding performance. We present centimeter-sized epigraphene metal–semiconductor–metal (MSM) detectors with a peak external quantum efficiency of η ∼ 85% for wavelengths λ = 250–280 nm, corresponding to nearly 100% internal quantum efficiency when accounting for reflection losses. Zero bias operation is possible in asymmetric devices, with the responsivity to UV remaining as high as R = 134 mA/W, making this a self-powered detector. The low dark currents Io ∼ 50 fA translate into an estimated record high specific detectivity D = 3.5 × 1015 Jones. The performance that we demonstrate, together with material reproducibility, renders epigraphene technologically attractive to implement high-performance planar MSM devices with a low processing effort, including multi-pixel UV sensor arrays, suitable for a number of practical applications.

Resumen
This study substantiates the epigraphene formation theory on SiC, presenting it as freestanding graphene during thermal decomposition epitaxy. It was found that cool down process is responsible for the formation of the graphene buffer layer. Additionally the capping capabilities of the buffer layer have been evaluated using Raman spectroscopy and AFM measurements.

We measured a 2D peak line shape of epitaxial graphene grown on SiC in high vacuum, argon and graphene prepared by hydrogen intercalation from the so called buffer layer on a silicon face of SiC. We fitted the 2D peaks by Lorentzian and Voigt line shapes. The detailed analysis revealed that the Voigt line shape describes the 2D peak line shape better. We have determined the contribution of the homogeneous and inhomogeneous broadening. The homogeneous broadening is attributed to the intrinsic lifetime. Although the inhomogeneous broadening can be attributed to the spatial variations of the charge density, strain and overgrown graphene ribbons on the sub-micrometer length scales, we found dominant contribution of the strain fluctuations. The quasi free-standing graphene grown by hydrogen intercalation is shown to have the narrowest linewidth due to both homogeneous and inhomogeneous broadening.

Au cours des dernières années, l'importance de nanoélectronique a augmenté avec la demande pour des dispositifs plus petits et plus efficaces. Les technologies traditionnelles basées sur le silicium rencontrent des défis, notamment pour la réduction de la taille des transistors tout en maintenant leur performance. Les longueurs de canal plus courtes améliorent la vitesse et la densité des dispositifs, mais entraînent des problèmes tels que l'électromigration, les fuites et la charge thermique. Le graphène, un matériau bidimensionnel, offre une solution grâce à sa haute mobilité des porteurs, sa conductivité thermique et sa stabilité, ce qui en fait une alternative prometteuse au silicium. L'utilisation des propriétés du graphène pourrait surmonter les limitations du silicium, permettant le développement de nanoélectroniques de prochaine génération avec de meilleures performances et évolutivité. Le graphène monolayer est généralement produit par des méthodes d'exfoliation, mais celles-ci introduisent souvent des défauts et des contaminants, dégradant ses propriétés électriques et limitant la production à grande échelle. La déposition chimique en phase vapeur (CVD) offre une solution plus efficace, mais peut encore introduire des défauts, tandis que la réduction de l'oxyde de graphène entraîne trop d'imperfections pour la nanoélectronique. Le graphène épitaxial (epigraphène) offre des propriétés de transport supérieures pour les dispositifs haute performance, mais, comme tout graphène, il est sensible aux conditions environnementales et nécessite une passivation efficace. Le nitrure de bore hexagonal (h-BN) est un matériau de passivation prometteur en raison de sa compatibilité structurelle avec le graphène. Bien que les méthodes conventionnelles de transfert de h-BN introduisent des défauts, l'épitaxie en phase vapeur métal-organiques (MOVPE) permet une croissance directe sur l'épigraphène, résolvant ces problèmes. Cette thèse examine la croissance de couches minces de h-BN sur divers substrats d'épigraphène (monocouche, multicouche et motifé) en utilisant l'épitaxie de van der Waals, en mettant l'accent sur leurs applications potentielles dans les transistors à couche mince (TFT). L'étude se divise en trois domaines clés : d'abord, nous avons exploré la croissance MOVPE de couches de h-BN (jusqu'à 20 nm) sur de l'épigraphène monocouche et multicouche sur carbure de silicium (SiC), en examinant les faces terminées au silicium (face Si) et au carbone (face C). Les deux substrats ont montré des caractéristiques de surface similaires, et le recuit thermique a amélioré la qualité cristalline sans compromettre l'intégrité de l'hétérostructure h-BN/épigraphène jusqu'à 1550 degrés. Deuxièmement, nous avons exploré la croissance sélective de h-BN de haute qualité sur l'épigraphène motifé en gravant pour ne conserver que les motifs de graphène souhaités avant la croissance de h-BN. Cette méthode a contribué à réduire la formation de particules et les dommages comparés aux techniques de motifage post-dépôt conventionnelles. Enfin, des dispositifs TFT ont été fabriqués à partir de ces hétérostructures après avoir étudié diverses méthodes de gravure (CF4, XeF2, SF6) pour éliminer le h-BN et établir des contacts avec l'épigraphène. Les caractérisations électriques préliminaires ont montré des variations de résistance avec les champs magnétiques, bien que la résistance de contact ait été plus élevée que prévu. Cette recherche fournit une technique prometteuse pour produire des couches de h-BN de haute qualité sur des dispositifs à base de graphène, ouvrant la voie à de nouveaux avancements tout en identifiant les domaines à améliorer
In this century, the importance of nanoelectronics has grown with the demand for smaller, more efficient devices. Traditional silicon-based technologies face challenges, particularly in scaling down transistors while maintaining performance. Shorter channel lengths improve speed and device density but lead to issues like electromigration, leakage, and thermal load. Graphene, a two-dimensional material, offers a solution due to its high carrier mobility, thermal conductivity, and stability, making it a promising alternative to silicon. Utilizing graphene's properties could overcome silicon's limitations, enabling next-generation nanoelectronics with better performance and scalability. Monolayer graphene is typically produced via exfoliation methods, but these often introduce defects and contaminants, degrading its electrical properties and limiting large-scale production. Chemical vapor deposition (CVD) offers a more scalable solution but can still introduce defects, while reducing graphene oxide leads to too many imperfections for nanoelectronics. Epitaxial graphene (epigraphene) offers superior transport properties for high-performance devices but, like all graphene, is sensitive to environmental factors and requires effective passivation. Hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) is a promising passivation material due to its structural compatibility with graphene. While conventional methods of h-BN transfer introduce defects, metal-organic vapor phase epitaxy (MOVPE) allows direct growth on epigraphene, solving these issues. This thesis investigates the growth of thin h-BN layers on various epigraphene substrates (monolayer, multilayer, and patterned) using van der Waals epitaxy, with a focus on their potential applications in thin-film transistors (TFTs). The study is divided into three key areas: First, we explored the MOVPE growth of h-BN layers (up to 20 nm) on monolayer and multilayer epigraphene on silicon carbide (SiC), examining the silicon-terminated (Si-face) and carbon-terminated (C-face) faces. Both substrates exhibited similar surface characteristics, and thermal annealing was found to improve crystal quality without compromising the integrity of the h-BN/epigraphene heterostructure up to 1550 degrees. Second, we explored the selective growth of high quality h-BN over patterned epigraphene by etching to retain only the desired graphene patterns prior to h-BN growth. This method helped in reducing particle formation and damage compared to conventional post-deposition patterning techniques. Finally, TFT devices were fabricated from these heterostructures after investigating various etching methods (CF4, XeF2, SF6) to remove h-BN and establish contact with the underlying epigraphene. Preliminary electrical characterizations showed changes in resistance with magnetic fields, although contact resistance was higher than anticipated. This research provides a promising technique for producing high-quality h-BN layers on graphene-based devices, paving the way for further advancements while identifying areas for improvement

L'epigraphie commemorative florentine des xixe et xxe s. Herite de la tradition latine, dont elle se distingue cependant par la langue - au debut du xixe l'italien s'impose definitivement - par la teneur du message vehicule et le concept de "notabilite historique", qui motive sa redaction, sa gravure et son exposition sur les murs de florence. Traditionnellement consideree comme un genre litteraire, l'epigraphie commemorative se caracterise par les supports materiels du texte, les themes abordes, la nature ostentatoire de l'ecrit et par un code syntaxique, lexical et scriptural original. La difficulte de cette pratique d'ecriture reside dans la specificite du milieu d'exposition des textes, dans la necessite pour l'epigraphiste de rechercher un registre de langue soutenu mais accessible a un tres large public, ainsi que dans les fonctions du message commemoratif : transmettre la lecon de l'histoire et inviter a l'emulation. Marque par la pratique du "choix positif" et de la damnatio memoriae, le discours epigraphique commemoratif, toujours controle par les autorites, offre une representation historique de florence relevant de l'histoire de type institutionnel. A travers la celebration de personnages exemplaires, cette memoire historique particuliere propose des modeles de comportement social; elle diffuse les valeurs de la societe dont elle emane ainsi que diverses representations de la ville. Les identites florentines qui se degagent du corpus epigraphique contemporain - florence capitale culturelle de l'italie medievale et renaissante modele et source d'inspiration pour les artistes europeens du xixe s. Centre de democratie de l'italie contemporaine - contribuent a la perennisation du mythe de florence, tel qu'il existe dans l'imaginaire des italiens et des etrangers. Par son epigraphie commemorative, la ville, qui ne peut plus revendiquer dans l'italie contemporaine la primaute intellectuelle, artistique et encore moins economique ou politique, continue cependant d'affirmer la specificite, la richesse et la permanence de son patrimoine culturel et historique
Florentine commemorative epigraphy in the 19th and 20th centuries is heir to latin tradition - from which it can be distinguished by the language in which it is written : italian has prevailed since the turn of the 19th century - through the content of the message conveyed and the concept of "historical notability" which motivates its writing, engraving and display on the walls of florence. Traditionally regarded as literary genre, commemorative epigraphy is defined by the material used, the themes dealt whit, the ostentatious nature of the characters and an original syntactic, lexical and scriptural code. The difficulty arising from the writing practice lies in the specificity of environment, in the need for the epigraphist to use language which is elevated but accessible to a vast public, as well as in the functions of the commemorative message : the communication of history's teachings and an invitation to emulation. Deeply influenced by the practice of the "positive choice" and the dammatio memoriae, the commemorative epigraphic speech, constantly under the authorities' control, presents a historical view of florence in compliance with the official conception of history. Through the celebration of model characters, this particular historical memory proposes models of social behaviour; it disseminates the values of the society from which it originates as well as various representations of the city. The florentine identities which arise from the contemporary epigraphic corpus - florence as the cultural center of italy in the middle ages and the renaissance, as a model and source of inspiration for european artists in the 19th century, as a democratic centre in contemporary italy - contribute to the ever lasting myth of florence, as it exists in teh italians' and foreigners' imaginations. Parmi les inscriptions deliennes de l'epoque hellenistique, les inventaires n'avaient jamais fait l'objet d'une etude semantique et aucun travail sur les categories de termes designant les offrandes n'avait ete mene. L'index elabore dans cette these porte sur les termes d'elements de parure decrits dans les textes. Apres les vases, les bijoux representent les ex-voto les plus frequemment mentionnes. La comparaison avec les inscriptions attiques est aussi au coeur de toutes ces reflexions semantiques. Les descriptions des anciens et les gloses des scholiastes ont contribue a comprendre l'emploi d'un terme a delos, a souligner son originalite, mais ont aussi "donne a voir" l'offrande deposee dans le temple delien. Une confrontation avec les realites archeologiques s'est naturellement inscrite dans le prolongement de ce travail sur le sens. Delos n'offrant pas assez de correspondants exacts, on s'est alors tourne vers d'autres sites ou les fouilles avaient livre des elements satisfaisants. L'adequation parfaite entre le mot et la chose n'a pas toujours ete aisee mais les bijoux decrits ou signales en face de chaque terme ont le merite d'offrir des paralleles aux consecrations deliennes. A l'issue de l'etude du champ semantique de la parure, on retient surtout l'extraordinaire variete lexicale des inventaires. Ce foisonnement verbal est souligne par les jeux polysemiques. Cette recherche sur les inventaires deliens a aussi permis d'entrevoir une evolution des mentalites. Sous l'independance delienne, on assiste a un changement notable dans la redaction. Le formulaire reste le meme, mais par les descriptions multiples et variees deja evoquees, les deliens affirment leur autorite sur le tresor sacre. L'investissement dans le catalogage des ex-voto devient affectif : les hieropes, citoyens de l'ile, manifestent ainsi leur attachement a leurs coutumes religieuses et soulignent le large rayonnement exerce par delos sur toute la mediterrannee a l'epoque hellenistique
In the delian hellenistic inscriptions, none semantic researches about the inventories have ever been made before, and the terminology of the offers have never been studied. The index of this thesis is concerning the terms of adornment which are described in the delian texts. With the vases, the offers of jewellery are the most mentionned. The comparison with the attic inscriptions is in the heart of those semantic reflexions too. Ancient descriptions have contributed to understand the delian terms, to point their originality, and to "see" the offers setting in the temples. A confrontation with archeological realities has naturally followed this semantic work. As there were not enough exact parallels in delos, we have looked for concording elements in other sites. In conclusion of this terminological study of the delian adornment, we can notice the extraordinary variety of the vocabulary and an evolution of the mentalities. Under the delian independance, we can see an important change in the redaction. With rich descriptions of the offers, the people is asserting his autority on the sacred treasure. The hierops, citizens of the island, show their devotedness and insist on the large delian effect on the whole mediterranean at the hellenistic period

L'épigraphie numérique interroge sur la discipline épigraphique elle-même. Nous défendons dans cette thèse une méthodologie: l'acte de numérisation. Nous pensons que la numérisation est un acte qui dépend d'une problématique bien posée, d'une définition explicite, précise et assumée de l'objet à numériser, ce qui implique, dans le cas de l'épigraphie, à réfléchir de manière approfondie sur le concept d'inscription auquel nous préférons les concepts de dispositif épigraphique et de situation épigraphique qui exposent l'individu au caractère opérant de l'écriture. Nous pensons que, au delà de l'inscription, ce qu'est l'objet d'étude de l'épigraphie est la situation épigraphique mise sur pied au travers d'un dispositif délibérée qui expose l'individu à l'écrit, quelle que soit sa volonté. Fort de cette reformulation de l'étude de l'épigraphique, nous pensons que l'édition numérique scientifique de ce type de source primaire, au lieu de reproduire les systèmes papier qui déstructurent le dispositif, doit s'appuyer sur les technologies propres aux systèmes d'information multimédia. Nous proposons, au travers d'expérimentations et de prototype, de revoir le processus éditorial scientifique, grâce au numérique, du savoir épigraphique
Digital epigraphy invite to re-think the discipline itself. We advocate a methodology in this thesis: the act of digitization. We believe that digitization is an act that depends on a well posed questioning, an explicit and assumed definition of the object to be digitized, which means. It implies to think about the concept of “inscription” to which we prefer the concept of epigraphic device and epigraphic situation that expose individuals to the operability of writing. We think that epigraphy studies situations possible thanks to a deliberate device that exposes the individual to writings, whatever is her or his will. With this reformulation of epigraphic study, we believe that digital publishing scientific primary source of this type, instead of reproducing paper that disintegrate the epigraphic device should be based on multimedia information system. Notre recherche a consiste a relever et repertorier tous les documents epigraphies subsistant sur les trois types de mon marocain du 15e au 18e siecles : (mosquees, palais et monuments funeraires). En premier lieu, ont ete inventoriees quatr inscriptions inedites relatives aux trois dynasties : merinide, sa'dienne et alawite. Ces inscriptions ont ensuite ete c essentielles : textes coraniques, attributs les plus beaux noms de dieu, sentences pieuses, inscriptions d'eulogies, poe commemoratives et funeraires. Dans cette perspective, nous les avons classees en deux categories differentes caracterise epigraphie officielle des surfa et ensuite, comme epigraphie "maraboutique" des wali-(s) "surfa". Ces inscriptions sont en creux sur differents materiaux "luxueux" servant a la construction comme a la decoration platre, bois, marbre, parfoi carreaux de zellij. Poursuivant cette enquete, nous avons repertorie sept styles calligraphiques : andalusi maghribi, an rinceaux floraux, coufique ornemental et ses trois variations et naskhi maghribi. Il est apparu ainsi que ces styles son influences locales aussi bien qu'etrangeres (hispano-maghrebines, soudanaises, ifriqiennes et orientales) et tout partic de la graphie coranique officielle. Dans cette meme perspective, nous avons tente de preciser leurs multiples orientatio apologetiques, didactiques et metaphysiques. Par la suite, nous avons evoque les differentes typologies de ces monuments qasbat, darih et zawiya) ainsi que leurs fonctions et finalites socio-economiques, culturelles et spirituelles durant to et quelquefois jusqu'a nos jours. Ont ainsi ete en particulier constatees la continuite et la fidelite des techniques de decoration de l'architecture traditionnelle du sud-est marocain aux traditions des siecles anterieurs. Il est apparu eg textes de ces inscriptions rapportent des temoignages historiques inedits concernant ces monuments religieux, officiels surfa et des wali-(s) marabouts "surfa" simultanement completes par les recits de la tradition orale locale. De ce fait, un vocabulaire varie relatif aux deux cultures dominantes, mais limite a quelques themes tres specialises, tels les titr fonctionnaires representant le pouvoir politique. Ils nous informent, egalement, sur les differents mouvements mystiques que sur les filiations de ces confreries et sur le repertoire de leurs references symboliques
Our search consisted in collecting and filing all the remaining epigraphed documents about the three types of monuments fifteenth to the eighteen century (mosks, palaces and funeral monuments). First, ninety five original inscriptions conce merinid, sa'dian and alawit. Then, these inscriptions have been listed in eight essential types : koranic texts, attribu devoted sentences, wiritings of eulogies, poesy, foundations, memorials and funerals. Thereby, we have listed them in tw official surfa epigraphy, and then as wali "surfa" maraboutic epigraphy. These wrintings have been sculpted in relief an used as well for building as for ornamentation : plaster, wood, marble, sometimes drawn on the slabs of zellij. Going on calligraphic styles : andalusi maghribi, andalusi maghribi on foliated scrolls, ornamental kufic and its three variation apparent that these styles have been marqued by some local influences as well as foreing (hispano-maghrebian, sudani, if the influence of the official koranic writing. In this same perspective, we attempted to specify their different ideolog orientations. Then, we have evoked the various typologies of these epigraphed monuments (qsar, qasbat, darih and zawiya) cultural, spiritual functions and finalities, during all the considered era and sometimes until our days. We have partic of the techniques used in building and ornamentation of the moroccan south-est traditional architecture regarding the pr wiritings carry new historical testimonies concerning these religious, official and funeral monuments of surfa and walicompleted by the narrations of the local oral tradition. Of this fact, these texts suggest a varieted relative vocabular but limited to same very specialized themes, such as the titles of the caliphs and those of the officials representating the different mystic movements of this area, and about the relationships of these brotherhoods and on the repertory of t exceptional and thereby complementaty and often unique interest of the epigraphic studies on a rather fringing area of

Resumen
On a regroupe en un corpus systematique de 168 numeros toutes les lamelles oraculaires de dodone connues a ce jour, puis on a etudie ce corpus des points de vue historique, paleographique, philologique, linguistique, dialectologique. L'histoire des lamelles commence vers 550, et prend fin brusquement en 167 av. , quand les romains de paul-emile incendient le sanctuaire. Dodone etait par excellencele sanctuaire des epirotes, mais aussi un sanctuaire officiel de corcyre. La zone de rayonnement de l'oracle englobait l'epire, les colonies corinthiennes, la thessalie, la beotie, l'attique, la grandegrece et la sicile. Les lamelles en alphabet corinthien sont assignables a des consultants des colonies corinthiennes. L'alphabet epichorique de dodone etait de type eubeen. Le formulaire des questions oraculaires est rigoureux, mais admet de nombreuses variantes, et n'a connu aucune evolution. Les reponses de l'oracle sont rarissimes, mais maintenant bien identifiees. Il existe une relation, difficile a definir mais certaine, entre les lamelles oraculaires et les lamelles de malediction, meme du point de vue textuel. Il n'existe pas de dialecte epirote : il faut poser un continuum linguistique dorien allant du golfe de corinthe a la macedoine incluse. Les etymologies de naios "residant" et de diona "epouse de zeus" sont maintenant etablies. La forme deona, maintenant bien attestee, est due a une contamination, d'origine eleusinienne, par la forme deo.

La confrontation des inscriptions latines de la vallée de l'Isère aux auteurs anciens et aux trouvailles archéologiques permet une approche micro-régionale des secteurs de la vallée : Tarentaise, Combe de Savoie et Grésivaudan, Royans, basse vallée. Les Romains mettent en valeur, à des rythmes différents selon les secteurs, un espace occupé à l'époque préromaine, par deux peuples, les Ceutrons et les Allobroges. L'aménagement de la route au col du Petit-Saint-Bernard par Auguste permet l'accroissement de la circulation au Ier siècle ap. J. -C. ; Claude profite d'une période de basses eaux pour aménager la voie romaine dans la Combe de savoie. Une dizaine de procurateurs équestres sont connus dans les Alpes Grées. Le développement économique s'impose à l'ensemble de la vallée, dépassant la division administrative, entre la province des Alpes Grées et la cité de Vienne. Grâce à l'action de l'empereur Claude, la voie romaine entraîne un essor remarquable à partir du milieu du Ier siècle ap. J. -C. , qui profite aux notables de la Combe de Savoie. L'exploitation des ressources économiques, existantes avant l'arrivée des romains, peut se poursuivre et s'amplifier au Ier et IIème siècles. C'est le secteur de la Combe de Savoie et du Grésivaudan qui, à partir du milieu du Ier siècle ap. J. -C. , connaît la romanisation la plus forte. Si grenoble s'affirme comme une véritable ville, dont la concentration humaine profite de l'exode de populations rurales venues du Royans, en Combe de Savoie, l'occupation humaine prend la forme d'un véritable réseau d'agglomérations secondaires. The collation of Latin inscriptions of the valley of Isère with ancient authors and with archeological discoveries allose a micro-regional approach of the valley's different areas : Tarentaise, Combe de Savoie, Grésivaudan, Royans, low valley. Romans develop, with various rythms, an area occuped, at pre-Roman period, by two peoples, Ceutrons and Allobroges. Augustus' grading of Petit-Saint-Bernard's road enables a traffic increase in the First Century A. D. During a period of low waters, Claudius fits the Roman way up troughout the Combe de Savoie. A dozen of equestrian procurators are known in the Alpes Graiae. The economy tends to develop in the whole valley and even beyond its administrative boundaries, from the Alpes Graiae province to the city of Vienne. Thanks to Emperor Claudius' policy, the Roman way brings a remarquable progress since the middle of the First Century. This development fits to the notables of the Combe de Savoie. The management of the economic ressources which had existed before the coming of the Romans can carry on elarging during the First and the Second Centuries. It is in the Combe de Savoie and the Grésivaudan that the romanization appears to be the strongest since the middle of the First Century. As Grenoble asserts itself as a true town, which population is increased by the arrival of a rural Royans' people, the Combe de Savoie shows a network of minor urban districts. Religion and art play a part in the unification of the valley. The imperial cult can be noticed everywhere, with its flamini, flaminicae, its seviri augustales, and the regional importance of the Sanctuary of Châteauneuf (Savoy). At the end of the Second Centuary A. D. , pax Romana standardizes the different areas of the valley

La thèse aborde plusieurs problématiques liées à la conservation, l'entretien et la restauration des édifices en Grèce aux époques classique et hellénistique, à partir des cas de Delphes et de Délos, deux sites qui ont fourni une riche documentation épigraphique et archéologique. D'un point de vue pratique, il est question des techniques et méthodes utilisées pour prévenir les dégâts et réparer ou entretenir les bâtiments. Les différents acteurs de l'entretien des édifices sont identifiés, ainsi que leurs rôles respectifs. D'un point de vue économique, sont étudiés les sources et moyens de financement et la part des dépenses que constitue, pour un sanctuaire ou une cité, l'entretien de ses bâtiments. Le vocabulaire des inscriptions est étudié en détail afin, notamment, de mieux cerner les enjeux sociaux et politiques liés aux restaurations architecturales.

Resumen
The redefinition of the SI base units ampere and kilogram in 2019 formalized the use of the quantum Hall effect (QHE) to provide resistance traceability (the SI ohm) from the fundamental constants h and e. Traditionally, realization of the ohm via the QHE has required large complex liquid helium cryostats (including a high field superconducting magnet), and been largely confined to National Measurement Institutes. In recent years, graphene has been demonstrated as an ideal material for QHE samples, offering access to the quantum resistance reference (RK=h/e2) at lower magnetic fields and higher temperatures than previously possible. We present a system that builds on this technological advance, combined with liquid helium-free (closed cycle) cryogenic cooling techniques. The system integrates both a graphene QHE reference and a Cryogenic Current Comparator (CCC) instrument into a single compact enclosure. Resistance bridges based around a CCC offer the ultimate accuracy and noise performance for comparisons of conventional room temperature standard resistors to the QHE reference, and for scaling between different decade values, but this technology has not previously been demonstrated without the use of liquid helium. Our CCC system also integrates a second cryogenic SQUID detector to operate as the critical nanovoltmeter in the bridge electronics. We use a latest generation polymer-encapsulated molecular doped epigraphene sample optimized for operation at the 5 T field of our compact magnet, which does not require any user tuning of device properties on repeated cool-down cycles. Combined with the cryogen-free cooling, this gives a truly ‘turn-key’ system, making the quantum resistance reference and CCC accuracy available 24/7 in the metrology laboratory with no regular user intervention. The system is designed for both the realisation of the ohm at 100 Ω and regular calibration of standard resistors in the range 1 Ω to 10 kΩ, with combined relative standard uncertainties down to 0.01 ppm in the best cases.
