Resumen
The article considers the formation of independence in adolescents under the influence of emotional acceptance from parents in Vietnam and Russia. Parental emotional acceptance helps teenagers gain self-confidence and avoid difficulties when they make decisions and solve problems, thereby developing independence in thinking and behaviour. Using the methodologies “Behaviour of parents and the attitude of adolescents to them” by E. Shafer and “Diagnostics of students’ independence” by L.A. Sergienko, the authors analyse the correlation between emotional acceptance from influential parents and the level of a teenager’ autonomy. In addition, the influence of fathers and mothers on the independence of adolescents is different. The results show that emotional acceptance from both parents helps teenagers develop autunomy better than emotional acceptance from just one person. Besides, the level of emotional support is higher among Russian parents than among Vietnamese ones, and this leads to the fact that Russian teenagers are more independent than Vietnamese ones. Emotional acceptance from parents plays an important role in the development of autonomy in children, therefore parents need to create healthy relationships with them.

Resumen
After the experience of alienation, insecurity, distrust and dismay in the family, getting into institutional care teenager is forced to feel it once more, on the other hand, new environment and intermittent situation in the care institution leads teenager to look for new ways for social interaction and often these ways are limited due to the peculiarities of teenager’s psychosocial development. It is complicated for youngster to master new and unusual forms of social interactions that are based on common activities and result planning, social activity and responsibility, because stereotypes of teenagers’ behaviour and reactions in the different situations cannot change so fast. The lack of social skills disturbs optimal development of social networks, determines low level of self control, decreases ability to solve conflict situations constructively, so usually they are forced to use known behavioural strategies (to behave aggressively and provocative in order to get advantage). In such situation the demonstration of advantage gets a specific attribution and transforms to the manifestations of concurrent aggression that are evident more and more often. Concurrent aggression determines complicated and difficult relationships between teenagers, institutional staff as well and with environment in general. The paper presents research which aim is to define concurrent behaviour among teenagers who are placed in the institutional care. With the authors’ permission approbated check list of self evaluation YSR 11/18 (Youth self report, Achenbach, Rescoria, 2001) was used and 14 – 17 years old 126 teenagers from different care institutions of Lithuania took place in the research. Approbated check list YSR 11/18 (Žukauskienė, Malinauskienė, 2008) consists of 20 statements that reveal social and behaviour (activeness) competences and 122 statements that let for the researcher to assess problems in behavioural and emotional performance. Six scales were used: anxiety/depression, withdrawal/depression, rules breaking, aggressive behaviour and scale of attention and social problems. The data of quantitative research point out those statistically significant correlate results of behaviour and emotional problems; the strongest ties among the teenagers group were set up between aggressive behaviour and breaking of the rules. The results of correlation analysis proved that anxiety/depression scale of teenagers placed into the institutional care closely correlates with social problems, and social problems are in tight relations with aggressive behaviour and lack of attention and lack of attention correlates with aggressive behaviour, as well. In qualitative research 6 interviewers were involved. Applying method of narrative research the subjective point of view of teenagers on striving for domination, manifestations of aggression signs and factors that determine such their behaviour was done. Key words: behavioural norm, concurrent aggression, institutional care.

Resumen
In mathematics learning a person often solves problems. In solving mathematical problems, a person needs a thought process with the thought process that an individual can come up with an idea to solve mathematical problems correctly. Stages of thinking take place individually and have a relationship with the social interactions carried out. The interaction will produce behavior. One factor that influences behavior is emotion. Therefore, the behavior of every individual must be related to good emotional control so that it can produce good behavior as well.Good emotional control requires preparedness and thought so that the behavior carried out does not have a negative impact on others. Resumen
Adolescence is the transitional age from childhood to adulthood, and there are many changes during this period. The change that occurs is not only physical but also psychological. A lot of the stresses in the lives of teenagers make them look for ways to solve the problem. A teenager who can cope with problems well will go through adolescence well. However, there are some adolescents who are unable to cope with the problem, which will cause negative effects such as emotional instability. Because of these unstable emotions, teenagers use inappropriate ways to deal with their problems, such as self-harm behavior. This study aims to paint a picture of self-injury in adolescents. The study used descriptive analytical methods using the Self-Harm Inventory questionnaire for data collection. The research was carried out in the district of Sleman among teenagers aged 14–20 who were spread across 14 districts in Sleman. The total number of respondents was 1,362, taken using the cluster sampling technique. The results of the study showed that the majority of adolescents had low self-harm behaviors, with a percentage of 66.6%. However, attention should still be paid to adolescents who have high self-harm behaviors (a percentage of 3.4%). So further research is still needed to find out the various factors that affect self-injury behavior in adolescents.

Resumen
The article presents the results of a study of the peculiarities of the restructuring of the emotional sphere and behavior of adolescents. To characterize all the contradictions of the image of the "I" of the adolescent, it is not enough to explain only hormonal and physiological changes. The difficulty of moving to a new age may increase the stress of teenagers, so emotional intelligence development and related social factors are important for the formation of personality. Adolescence (14-17 years) is characterized by impulsiveness, the desire to insist on their own, and immaturity of their judgments. There is a concern for their physical attractiveness. The teenager becomes shy, which gives rise to insecurity and leads to behavior that tends to risk and social conflict. Many teenagers conclude that no one understands them. Violation of emotional intelligence in adolescents causes issues such as increased anxiety, problems of self-expression, communication, understanding, and breach of the regulation of their behavior, etc. Our study shows the ability to realizing the fact that the development of emotional intelligence (EI) is almost minimal. The reasons for this phenomenon allow us to look for opportunities to influence a situation and identify ways to overcome the crisis in the future. At the age of 14-17, teenagers strive to take a social position that meets their needs for self-determination, to show their abilities in many spheres of life. It is necessary to promote socially significant activities in adolescence. Properly organized classes at schools or lyceums for adolescents involves reaching a new level of motivation, implementation of the system "I and society", deployment of various forms of communication with adults based on moral cooperation.

Resumen
Introduction. The article is aimed at studying the relationship of emotional intelligence, as well as psychological reasonableness of adolescents with the peculiarities of the mother’s relationship to the child. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that today in Russian scientific works the topic of psychological intelligence is not sufficiently covered. The study of its connections with emotional intelligence will allow us to understand the relationship between these characteristics for a deeper understanding of the emotional sphere of adolescents, and the study of its connections with the mother’s parenting style will allow us to better understand the process of its formation.Objective. investigate the interrelationships of emotional intelligence and psychological reasonableness of adolescents with the peculiarities of maternal attitude towards them.Materials and methods. Adolescents aged 13 to 15 years (n = 43) were studied as an empirical object. To study emotional intelligence, the methodology “Emotional intelligence of adolescents” by Sadokov and Voronkin was chosen, and the “Scale of Psychological reasonableness, SPR/PMS” was used to study psychological reasonableness in the adaptation of Novikova and Kornilova. The “Teenagers about parents” technique was using the peculiarities of the mother’s relationship to the teenager were established.Results. The emotional intelligence of adolescents tends to be low, while maintaining the average values of psychological reasonableness. Statistically significant negative associations were found between hostility, inconsistency, and criticality of the mother towards the teenager with factors of emotional intelligence and psychological reasonableness. A positive relationship was also revealed between the closeness of the mother with the teenager and his psychological intelligence.Discussion. The results obtained are confirmed in the concepts of other authors. Thus, the preservation of an average level of psychological intelligence with low emotional intelligence of adolescents is explained by the abundance of psychological information in the Internet space in which adolescents spend most of their time. Data on the negative relationship of hostility and criticism of the mother with the peculiarities of emotional intelligence and psychological reasonableness are also confirmed: parents who reject, ignore and criticize a teenager can mainly raise teenagers with a low level of emotional intelligence who do not seek to discuss their problems.

This study aims to find an increase in the role of Hindu religious education in building the humanist and pluralist youth characters. Youth is a transition from childhood to adulthood, wherein the development phase has to undergo various tensions, one of them is emotional tension resulting from relationships. Youth is often not able to overcome the problems associated with emotional control maximally hence they fall into less humanistic and pluralistic relationships or even lead to juvenile delinquency. The low ability of youths in controlling emotions is caused by the lack of religious teachings internalization properly. If religion properly internalized in teenagers, it can foster and shape good emotional control, hence teenage lives will be more directed and all forms of inhumane and pluralist behavior in life between people can be avoided. Hindu religious education has an important role in developing humanist and pluralist youth in multicultural life.

Resumen
Background: Mental health problems are increasing at an alarming rate throughout the world, and teenagers are no exception. They experience high levels of stress in their formative years which often leads to poor social behavior. In the present study, we examine the effect of Sudarshan Kriya Yoga (SKY), a yogic breathing technique on perceived stress and social behavior of school going teenagers. Method: A cross-sectional survey was conducted. Teenagers who practiced SKY daily constituted the study group and teenagers who did not practice any form of yoga or meditation formed the control group. Child Perceived Stress scale (C-PSS) and Strength and Difficulty questionnaire (SDQ) were used to evaluate the mental health and social behavior of both groups. Results: Lower stress scores were observed among students who practiced SKY compared to their peers. A significant difference was observed between the groups with respect to emotional problems, conduct problems, peer problems, and pro-social behavior. Gender wise comparison highlighted that the females from the SKY group scored lower on emotional problems sub-scale compared to their counterparts from control group. Results also highlighted an improved peer to peer interaction among both boys and girls in the SKY group. Conclusion: The results indicate the practice of SKY is associated with reduced stress, improved self-awareness, and social behavior.

Resumen
The problem of reader’s indifference of troubled teenagers hinders the development of cultural society; therefore, library-information institutions of the Russian Federation organize reading for this social community. However, library practices have low efficiency due to the lack of scientific knowledge about reader’s motives and informational needs of difficult teenagers, as well as special methods for developing their reading. To develop scientific methods for correcting the reading of difficult adolescents, taking into account their psycho-physiological features, the authors conducted the applied study based on the knowledge of the psychology of reading. The purpose of the article is to highlight the results of research aimed at studying the reader characteristics of socially troubled teenager and the method of organizing the reading in libraries. As a result, the authors revealed that the weakness of the emotional-volitional sphere, the involuntary attention, the inability to perceive and retain a large number of printed characters in consciousness is the basis of the reader’s failure of difficult adolescents. From this circumstance arose the question of using stimulating components in the reading process. Understanding the psychological features of the perception of text by troubled teenagers has allowed to assume that characteristics of the interactive document are the most suitable for them as external stimulus of reading. The data obtained in the psychological-pedagogical experiment indicated that interactive document compensates for the inadequate associative determinants of difficult teenager in the perception of printed documents, promotes visualization of literary images, which, in turn, contributes to the formation of motivational attitudes to reading and satisfies the information need. The authors consider the specific feature of interactive documents, which allows presenting the material in a more accessible perception. Reading of interactive documents can serve as a new effective method of the library work to meet the information needs of this social group, and it will expand the organization of reading of troubled teenagers.

Resumen
Nowadays one of the important problems in Ukraine is the increase in the number of orphans and children deprived of parental care, which is an indicator of the social, economic, and political situation in society. One of the causes of orphancy is the loss of parents because of hostilities. Psychological problems of orphaned teenagers are determined by the lack of parental attention and love, early deprivation. The underdevelopment of identification mechanisms, as a result of such deprivation, becomes the cause of emotional coldness, aggressiveness, hostility, increased vulnerability, a feeling of loneliness, and the manifestation of negative accentuations of the adolescent's character. Objective. The research deals with the theoretical analysis of the problem of orphanhood and the psychological difficulties of orphan adolescents in the scientific literature, an empirical study of the psychological difficulties of orphan adolescents. Methods. To solve the set objective, we used a set of methods, such as the theoretical method – the analysis of expert sources; the empirical method – the method of diagnosing the level of subjective feeling of loneliness by D. Russell and M. Ferguson; the method of determining the accentuations of character by K. Leonhard; statistical methods – quantitative and qualitative analysis of results and correlation analysis by K. Pearson. The research was conducted on the basis of Sviatoshyn Children's Boarding Home in Kyiv. Thirty orphan adolescents participated in the reaearch: 15 girls, 15 boys. The results of an empirical study of the psychological difficulties of orphaned teenagers showed that they are dominated by high (30%) and medium (45%) levels of loneliness, and only 25% of respondents have a low level; the pronounced types of character accentuations are excitable (16,7%), hyperthymic (13,3%), affective-exalted (13,3%), emotional (16,7%). The results of the correlation analysis showed that the higher the level of loneliness, the greater the level of manifestation of demonstrative, stuck, excitable, hyperthymic, anxious, affective, emotional types of character accentuations; the lower the level of loneliness, the greater the manifestation of the following character accentuations: pedantic, dysthymic, cycloid. We see the prospects for further research in the development and approval of the program for the correction of psychological difficulties of orphaned teenagers.

Resumen
Studies on the efficacy of parent training programs have mostly been conducted with preadolescents, with only a few studies investigating family treatment models in adolescents. In this article, a study is described that evaluates Standard Teen Triple P (Positive Parenting Program), a behavioural family intervention for parents of 11- to 16-year-old teenagers. Participants were 46 families with a teenager who was experiencing detectable behavioural and emotional problems. Compared to parents in the waitlist control condition, parents participating in the intervention condition reported decreased levels of teen disruptive behaviours and parent adolescent conflict, as well as a reduction in the use of ineffective parenting strategies and conflict over child-rearing issues. These positive changes were maintained at the 3-month follow-up. Results suggest that Standard Teen Triple P is a promising parenting intervention for tackling adolescent externalising problems.

Resumen
Depression (major depressive disorder) is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, think, and act. Fortunately, it is treatable. Depression causes sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities once enjoyed. It can lead to various emotional and physical problems and decrease a person’s ability to function at work and home. Teenagers often experience this disorder because their emotions are still unstable. They also don’t have many chances to consult with a psychologist and doctor. Through this research, an expert system was created that implements knowledge from experts related to depression so that teenagers can do a self-test when needed. The expert system was developed using the Certainty Factor method for the knowledge inference engine. The system was tested iteratively and could achieve similar results with a domain expert. We hope that the system can detect early symptoms of depression among teenagers and minimize the negative impact it may cause.

Resumen
Despite the critical nature of the adolescent period in human growth, mental health among teenagers in China has not received sufficient attention in academic research. This study investigates how the family, school, and community environments can interact to influence the mental health and wellbeing of Chinese teenagers. Using a mixed-methods approach that combines qualitative and quantitative methods, the study gathers both opinion and quantifiable data on how family, school, and societal interventions can work together to support and shape adolescents’ mental stability and wellbeing. Data is collected through surveys and focus groups with parents, instructors, and community leaders. The study reveals that emotional and social problems are prevalent among Chinese teenagers and have various effects on their mental health. The findings suggest that kid-friendly interventions to support teenagers with mental health problems should be developed and distributed through family, school, and community-based mental health services. Schools, in particular, offer a unique setting for the promotion of mental health in teenagers by reducing risk factors and boosting protective elements. Educating families and communities about the warning signs of adolescent mental health problems and how to access local resources when they notice these signs in a loved one is also crucial.

Resumen
In the last years, teenagers have experienced an evolution towards novelty, diversity, complexity and satisfaction of their wishes, fashions and free time activities. The change is bound to the new industry of leisure and the digital revolution, and it is reinforced by the great number of empty hours due to the progressive absence of parents and school. The latest teenagers have been introduced into a parallel world (known as «virtual reality») which is increasingly detached of reality. The author thinks that this parallel world creates big problems to the teenager: lack of formal thought, affective instability, emotional coldness, fears, anxiety and, finally, a kind of dispair.
