Essaïdi, Mohamed. "Echange de données pour le parallélisme à gros grain". Nancy 1, 2004. http://www.theses.fr/2004NAN10007.
Texto completoWe can distinguish two classes of parallel models: models with fine grain and those with coarse grain. The coarse grain models have a multitude of dedicated libraries facilitating the implementation of their respective algorithms. This thesis focuses on the library SSCRAP which is initially designed for the CGM model. We extended the support of SSCRAP to the model BSP and PRO. Indeed, we proposed and integrated on SSCRAP a new exchange model, a new synchronization model and a new execution model. In order to improve the efficiency of SSCRAP on shared memory architecture, we also designed and implemented a new interface of low level communication. The experimental studies highlight the very good behaviour of SSCRAP and then extend the proof of validity as well to the algorithms as to the coarse grain models

Texto completoWe live in a world of exchange where errors are everywhere. Being able to verify approximately if a property is close or far to be satisfied is essential therefore. This leads to develop techniques to exchange huge and imperfect data. The subject of this thesis is the study of approximated processes that are taking errors into account, and of the comparison between exact and approximated processes as far as complexity is concerned. From a theoretical point of view, the heart of data exchange is the transformation of words and trees. This thesis shows that it is possible to decide the approximate equivalence of Finite State Machines for a particular distance, and extends the decision to a type of linear tree transducers inspired by XSLT. To that end, a method to approximate instances (word or tree), languages and transducers of these instances is introduced. Its main interest lies in the possibility of linking the edit distance with moves between two transducers with the geometrical distance (L1 norm) between their embeddings. This geometrical embedding also enables to decide the approximate consistency of an instance in constant time, i. E. Independently from the input size. Finally, the implementation of data exchange is illustrated: weighted transductions are used to simulate computations of distances between languages, and tree transductions are used to build maps of log files and to visualize results of an OLAP query

Texto completoThe recent digital transformation of the manufacturing world has resulted in numerous benefits, from higher quality products to enhanced productivity and shorter time to market. In this digital world, data has become a critical element in many critical decisions and processes within and across organizations. Data exchange is now a key process for the organizations' communication, collaboration, and efficiency. Industry 4.0 adoption of modern communication technologies has made this data available and shareable at a quicker rate than we can consume or track it. This speed brings significant challenges such as data interoperability and data traceability, two interdependent challenges that manufacturers face and must understand to adopt the best position to address them. On one hand, data interoperability challenges delay faster innovation and collaboration. The growing volume of data exchange is associated with an increased number of heterogeneous systems that need to communicate with and understand each other. Information standards are a proven solution, yet their long and complex development process impedes them from keeping up with the fast-paced environment they need to support and provide interoperability for, slowing down their adoption. This thesis proposes a transition from predictive to adaptive project management with the use of Agile methods to shorten the development iterations and increase the delivery velocity, increasing standards adoption. While adaptive environments have shown to be a viable solution to align standards with the fast pace of industry innovation, most project requirements management solutions have not evolved to accommodate this change. This thesis also introduces a model to support better requirement elicitation during standards development with increased traceability and visibility. On the other hand, data-driven decisions are exposed to the speed at which tampered data can propagate through organizations and corrupt these decisions. With the mean time to identify (MTTI) and mean time to contain (MTTC) such a threat already close to 300 days, the constant growth of data produced and exchanged will only push the MTTI and MTTC upwards. While digital signatures have already proven their use in identifying such corruption, there is still a need for formal data traceability framework to track data exchange across large and complex networks of organizations to identify and contain the propagation of corrupted data. This thesis analyses existing cybersecurity frameworks, their limitations, and introduces a new standard-based framework, in the form of an extended NIST CSF profile, to prepare against, mitigate, manage, and track data manipulation attacks. This framework is also accompanied with implementation guidance to facilitate its adoption and implementation by organizations of all sizes

Texto completoMany security mechanisms have been proposed for wired and wireless networks. Although these mechanisms have answered some security requirements, they remain efficient in a specific context related to the assumptions and the restrictive requirements which have been emitted at the time of their design. Firstly, we define a list of security requirements which make it possible to analyze the most deployed security solutions. Secondly, we propose to extend the SSL/TLS protocol with new services. SSL/TLS is a transparent security solution. Thus, security services providedto applications are the same. SSL/TLS does not meet specific needs to some classes of applications such as internet payment applications. We integrate the Internet Security Association and Key Management Protocol (ISAKMP) in SSL/TLS to provide, among others, identity protection and unification of security associations. In order to extend the use of SSL/TLS towards the Internet payment systems, we integrate a generic signature module in SSL/TLS that generate a non repudiation proof over all exchanged data. This module is interoperable with SSL/TLS and TLS Extensions standards. However, all these proposals suffer from the lack of interoperability with their previous versions. This will make it impossible to satisfy all the security needs through one existing protocol. Thus, we propose to design, validate and develop a new security protocol, which natively integrates the evolutions of the security protocols, in a powerful and elegant way. We called this protocol SEP for Secure and Extensible Protocol

Texto completoPublic health emergencies of international concern are part of those risks that can not be efficiently managed by States on their own to ensure the longstanding well-being of their population. This thesis explores the possibility to supersede the international community's lack of integration for the management of what will be considered as biological risks, by the designing of an international and global governance system based on the exchange of information. For the functionning of this system, information will need to be produced and have the capacity to be exchanged. In this context, information exchanges ought to be organised, in order to take into account the legal specifities of the information involved. The study will thus aim at emphasizing on the essential role of law in the organisation of those exchanges but also on its limitations

Texto completoThis thesis aims atMOZAIC data analyses and to improve understanding of Stratosphere-Troposphere Exchange (STE) on case study scale or global scale. The use of Lagrangiantechniques and the mesoscale model MESO-NH underlines importance of STE into a summertimecyclogenesis case study. It characterizes a deep stratospheric intrusion and theimpact of convective mixing across the tropopause on chemical distribution into the UTLSregion. A lagrangian analysis of a second case study shows that frontal zones of midlatitudesare able to layered stratify air masses processed by coherent airstreams. Finally, a studyshows the impact of STE on seasonal distribution of ozone and CO at midlatitudes UTLSregion. A dynamical referential, link to the vertical structure of baroclinic waves, allows acoherent reshape of observations along upper troughs and upper ridges. The mixing layerformation over the tropopause and seasonal chemical variations are shown. A lagrangiananalyses of zonal variations is tented

Texto completoThe handling and management of a construction project information through its life cycle require to impose order and structure in the data description. The latter is intended for both project actor and computer use. It is therefore expressed in an appropriate language whose neutral aspect enables the inter-operability and the sharing of computer-based information within an open software infrastructure. This approach improves the communication, relevance and effectiveness of the information flow between the actors. This building structure description is commonly called a « data model ». The document is the traditional support of an enginering project description. It constitutes the conceptual and the regulation basis for any enginering process. The deep analysis of the documents produced within a project life cycle emphasises the importance and the relevance o their legal and specification aspects as indicated by the full specification document « CCTP ». The CCTP is one of the essential documents issued from the detailed design stage. It distinguishes by the volume and the relevancy of its content : it defines the particular conditions for the execution of the works and thus completes their description made through the technical drawings. The consultation of the contractors imposes the decomposition of the construction tasks info work packages. The main consequences of such approach concerns the management and the coordination of the works realization in conjonction with the other work packages. All these details should be rigorously handled. Thus, the participant main worry is to be able to produce at the right moment a detailed full specification compatible with the ones previously generated and reflecting the real description of the construction project, provided by a building data model. This thesis demonstrates th feasibility of the generation of project documents via a date model supporting the physical, formal and performative description of a construction project. It consists of propsing a document logical structure, which is used to derive the Document Type Definition (DTD) of the CCTP according to the SGML language. The DTD elements are instanciated in order to produce a marked version of the CCTP. This approach enables the generation of the contents, the references list and the hypertext links. Moreover, we propose an association model through which building data model concepts are indexed to the documentary items of the marked CCTP. The project applied CCTP is then produced thanks to the instances of the association model in consideration of which the internal and external coherency of the CCTP is achieved. This approach insures a high quality of the full specifications documents of a projects and contributes to diminish the mistakes and errors due to the complexity of the design/construction/maintenance process. We finaly propose a generalisation of this approach to any project document

Thesis, Paris 1, 2016. http://www.theses.fr/2016PA01D019.
Texto completoThe recent trend towards transaprency in business highlights a more global disenchantment with the concept of secrecy. The concept of secrecy benefits from various legal expressions whose origins give it as undisputable legitimacy. This observation leads us to recognise the existence of a "Principle of confidentiality". The clash betxeen the rules of Financial Crime prevention and this principle of confidentiality is causing legal uncertainty not only for professional subject to Anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations but also gor persons whose data is being processed. These two sets of conflicting rules nevertheless share a common goal, namely to ensure respect for fundamental rights. Notwithstanding this, both the risk of abuse of legal instruments offered by one set for illegitimate purposes and the shortcomings attached to the other set potentially hinder the efficient and reasonable use of Law. This study aims at analysing antagonistic principles to reach a certain balance by applying solutions which preserve their respective interests and contribute to legal certainty. In this regard, the comparative law analysis helps better interpret customer due diligence measures whilst rehabilitating the arguments in favour of the principle of confidentiality. This shows the development of e genuine AML/CFT Law and in particular its preventive aspects that form a major part of the Banking and Financial Regulations

Texto completoXML has become the de facto format for data exchange. We aim at establishing a multi-system environment where some local original systems work in harmony with a global integrated system, which is a conservative evolution of local ones. Data exchange is possible in both directions, allowing activities on both levels. For this purpose, we need schema mapping whose is to ensure schema evolution, and to guide the construction of a document translator, allowing automatic data adaptation wrt type evolution. We propose a set of tools to help dealing with XML database evolution. These tools are used : (i) to compute a mapping capable of obtaining a global schema which is a conservative extension of original local schemas, and to adapt XML documents ; (ii) to compute the set of integrity constraints for the global system on the basis of the local ones ; (iii) to compare XML types of two systems in order to replace a system by another one ; (iv) to correct a new document with respect to an XML schema. Experimental results are discussed, showing the efficiency of our methods in many situations
