Texto completo„Od początku istnienia komunikacji językowej, w sytuacji nadawania nazwy jakiemuś fragmentowi świata zewnętrznego lub życia wewnętrznego człowieka, pojawiły się różnice semantyczne związane z subiektywnym widzeniem rzeczywistości. Szczególnym subiektywizmem obciążona jest sfera leksykalna języka.” Opis świata dokonany językiem powstał jednak w sposób spontaniczny i naturalny, nie w sposób sterowany. Jednak nazwy, nadawane na przykład sklepom i firmom, wyrażają intencje twórcy nazwy, kreują rzeczywistość, jaka mu odpowiada, a tym samym tworzą „pozorny”, „sztuczny” obraz, który odbieramy.
Właśnie ten „pozorny” obraz świata, zawarty w nazwach, stał się inspiracją mojej pracy, w której chciałabym zająć się sposobem nazywania sklepów i firm w Wodzisławiu Śląskim. Miasto to wybrałam ze względu na fakt, że jestem jednym z jego mieszkańców.
Celem mojej pracy będzie analiza nazw sklepów i firm. Będzie to analiza zarówno opisowa jak i analityczna. Nie chciałabym jednak zapomnieć o pobieżnym scharakteryzowaniu onomastyki i jednego z jej kierunków, a mianowicie chrematonimii. Są to bowiem działy językoznastwa, które zajmują się nazwami. Mam zamiar także zbadać, w jaki sposób nazwy sklepów i firm odzwierciedlają subiektywną rzeczywistość i ją kategoryzują. Przyjrzę się ponadto trendom we współczesnym nazewnictwie, a przede wszystkim jak proces nazewniczy w Wodzisławiu Śląskim kształtuje się na ich przykładzie.
Materiał badawczy do mojej pracy zaczerpnęłam przede wszystkim
z internetowego wydania Polskich Książek Telefonicznych (umieszczonego na portalu www.pkt.pl), jak również z bezpośredniej obserwacji ulic miasta, na których widniały szyldy reklamowe. Materiał jest na tyle obszerny, że posłużyłam się przykładami, które uznałam za najbardziej reprezentatywne i charakterystyczne dla nazw firm i sklepów
w Wodzisławiu Śląskim.
Praca ta została napisana w czasie moich studiów na Uniwersytecie

Buscar texto completoThe purpose of the doctoral thesis is to describe the role and importance of organizational culture in mergers and acquisitions process in international companies operating in Poland. A theoretical framework is based on the new institutionalism theory and intercultural competences. The author presents an overview of research on culture in organization and management and describes the motives for mergers and acquisitions whose background is global and Polish M&A market. In her research the author refers to the qualitative methodology presenting the results in the form of comprehensive statements of her respondents and completing them with the analysis of questionnaires. In the final section the author compiles the research and theoretical background, which allows her to interpret the collected data in a new way.

Product diversification is a way for firms to achieve growth. This study applies the resource-based view to investigate how a firm utilizes its internal resources to diversify product portfolio by leveraging the competences to pursue firm growth.. This study chooses W company in Taiwan steel industry for the period of 2009-2013 as a case to explore the above main argument. Based on the empirical results, this study proposes the following findings: 1. W company possesses the capabilities of organizational learning and R&D as their core competencies, which leads to product diversification. 2. With respect to the internal resource sharing, the leveraging of core competences is beneficial to the creation of product diversification. 3. Product diversification can stimulate firm growth.

Since the 1st transistor was published, the innovation in semiconductor industry was continuing for fifty years. It was always following “the Moore’s Law”-The number of transistors on chip will be doubled every 18-24 months. Nowadays, the technology node of CD is approaching 10nm. Shall this be the end? When will the innovation be stopped by the physical constraint? In 2008, it was considered to be 30nm. Today, it’s just announced that TSMC is targeting to move into HVM at 10nm node in 2017. Although there’re some new technologies, like immersion, double-patterning, multi-patterning, or EUV, that can push the progress forward. No one can answer the question about what is the end of the shrinking competition. The case, which was discussed in this study, has been the market leader in semiconductor equipment industry for over ten years. Also it's the manufacturer of the most key-equipment. Once the progress hit the limitation of physics, what should they do in order to survive? This study utilizes the five force model to define the competitive advantage of the company. And try to put together with experience and records from participating in the real projects. Aim to figure out the profile of the strategy of the company. The valuable records from real experience and investigation will be helping on understanding the progress and history about how the company executing its innovation strategy and the whole picture.

The exploratory analyzes were based on in-depth interviews and application of the grounded theory technique. In recent years, food-safety events happen all over the world. For many country, Food Traceability System is an essential request for food businesses, study shows that the establishment and certification of Food Traceability System is able to reduce customer’s mistrust about food safety. By the cooperation of government and food businesses, the trust form consumers can be rebuilt. Taiwan’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) stipulated a rule in 2015, the article stipulates 19 categories of food businesses as “Food Businesses Shall Establish Traceability System of Food Products”, and the article also specified time limit for each category to complete the Food Traceability System. This research is focus on the third category of the announcement from FDA (Dairy products) Previous studies about Food Traceability System were focus on the image of the company、perception's vaule、customer’s trust and willingness to buy. There is no study about the procedure about establishing a Food Traceability System. This study used the method for project management, to explore the emphasis on the establishing procedure. Result shows that the sequences of the procedure are: Set up a multifunctional team、investigate the difference about process、draw up a project plan and chose suitable information tools. It’s a complicated project no matter for on-line system upgrade or new system establishment, this study is able to provide a reference for the companies which are going to establish Food Traceability System, for a effective and overall way.

This following study of company W investigates the business performances of the impacts of implementing cultural and creative industry’s strategies in wooden teaching supply. Company W is a wooden teaching supply company that was established in 1970s. During 1980s, the company innovated and transformed to produce larger amusement facilities; it was one of the few companies that was approved by the ministry of economic affairs. In 1990s, due to the migration and decline of traditional wooden supply industry, the company gradually implement the strategies of cultural and creative industry that successfully transform company W to an interdisciplinary integration firm specialize in tourism, leisure, cultural and innovation. This investigation employs case study and in-depth interview approaches to examine how W company could re-create excellent firm performance by implement cultural and creative strategies. Meanwhile, this study also demonstrates how W company could successfully transform itself from a gradually declining traditional wooden teaching aid company to a unique and top-notch kind of touristic factory. The results of the case analysis from W company demonstrate the operating characteristics and successful critical factors of the cultural and creative industries. The results of this study could serve as an example for other related fields on how to successfully implement cultural and creative ideas to original products.

Texto completoThe main subject of deliberations included in this thesis is presentation and analysis of administrative legal standards of consumer protection in relations with institutions providing brokerage services (investment companies) on the capital market. Thematic approach, which is the subject of conducted research, is a complex problematic issue. Its multidimensional nature is influenced by at least two general issues. Firstly, both consumer protection laws with the central centre of interest is an individual, which is in fact the weakest – among the others – category of economic trading participants, and the capital market law, which covers the activities of institutions providing brokerage services, constitute sets of legal standards of a heterogeneous juridical nature. These regulatory areas mostly rely on administrative legal solutions, although a relatively large part of them comply with civil law norms. In addition, these areas are also characterized by fragmentary regulations of a criminal law nature, which in general implies the need to conduct research on the basis of both public and private law. Secondly, regulations governing the capital market, unlike regulations relating to other sectors of the financial market (such as the banking or payment services sector), do not explicitly cover consumer relations. However, they use separate sui generis categories of participants (recipients of services) characteristic for the capital market (e.g. investor, client of an investment company, participant of an investment fund) and for these categories they create protective mechanisms. The main part of deliberations included in this dissertation was devoted to the legal analysis of competences, tasks and administrative legal means vested in the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, as the so-called independent regulatory bodies. The author of paper, as a fundamental thesis, adopted the assumption that standards of public and legal nature, in particular standards of administrative law, in a much more effective way fill the regulatory sphere of consumer protection and the capital market in relation to regulations of private and legal nature. This is evidenced by e.g. restriction of economic freedom of entities conducting brokerage activities, or the principle of administrative supervision over the capital market, within the limits of which a number of regulatory and police functions of public administration are included. Moreover, in the area of public-private consumer protection, administrative legal instruments used by public administration bodies have a strategic role, in particular the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, as the body competent to issue administrative decisions in cases of declaring the provisions of the model contract prohibited and decisions in cases of practices infringing collective consumer interests. The status of these bodies means that tasks performed by them have a nature of acting in the public interest, and thus this action meets the needs of the whole society – in contrast to regulations of a private law nature, which effectiveness is noticeable only at the stage of contractual relations between the consumer and institution providing services. Therefore, the author assumed that effective consumer protection in the area of capital market can be guaranteed only with the use of administrative law instruments, to which he gave a leading role, at the same time reaching a conclusion that private law instruments are characterized by low effectiveness, and thus he granted them only a complementary function.
