Resumen
Introduction: This paper is aimed to determine the relationship between the competitiveness model of Mexico (NCM) and a proposal for a digital marketing innovation model (DMIM).This is of special value for SME experts and academics, both related to the practice of digital marketing, in order to obtain a tool capable to identify different variables involved in the design and driving of a digital marketing campaign, in order to increase their levels of competitiveness.Method: The theoretical framework for the DMIM proposal, was based on a documentary, exploratory, descriptive, correlational and transversal research (academic vision). Thus, it was applied focus group using Panel Delphi and Analytical Hierarchy Process, among the specialists of digital marketing sector (expert vision) to identify different variables and indicators registering their different importance rates as well as the order of occurrence of each one into the DMIM proposal construct, for both visions. The final DMIM proposal construct, was correlated with the NCM, previously known. Therefore a pilot questionnaire, with a test of validity and reliability, was applied during the period of January-April 2017, to 400 specialists related with digital marketing and competitiveness (200 SME experts, 100 consultants and 100 academics). As a quantitative stage (empirical evidence), multiple linear regression and correlation techniques were applied to determine the relationships in this model. Results: It was obtained an original and generalized model, able to explain the relationship of variables and indicators involved among 8 NCM variables and 10 variables of the DMIM proposal as a measuring tool, and final suggestions for the improvement of such relationship. Conclusion: An empirical model of NCM-DMIM that showed positive effects of correlation in 2/10 variables of the DMIM: among the mission, vision and values (MVS) as well as the knowledge and application of the tools of digital marketing, (DMT) both variables belonging to the DMIM over to the NCM. The rest of the (8/10) variables of the DMIM, show low correlations which means that they are not yet sufficiently widespread and known in the sector for what they represent the sector's opportunities. Finally, academic and expert visions about the variables of the construct NCM-DMIM, with several suggestions for improvement.

Resumen
Although directed cellular migration facilitates the coordinated movement of cells during development and repair, the mechanisms regulating such migration remain poorly understood. Missing-in-metastasis (MIM) is a defining member of the inverse Bin/Amphiphysin/Rvs domain (I-BAR) subfamily of lipid binding, cytoskeletal regulators whose levels are altered in a number of cancers. Here, we provide the first genetic evidence that an I-BAR protein regulates directed cell migration in vivo. Drosophila MIM (dmim) is involved in Drosophila border cell migration, with loss of dmim function resulting in a lack of directional movement by the border cell cluster. In vivo endocytosis assays combined with genetic analyses demonstrate that the dmim product regulates directed cell movement by inhibiting endocytosis and antagonizing the activities of the CD2-associated protein/cortactin complex in these cells. These studies demonstrate that DMIM antagonizes pro-endocytic components to facilitate polarity and localized guidance cue sensing during directional cell migration.

Resumen
Cross-modal clustering (CMC) aims to enhance the clustering performance by exploring complementary information from multiple modalities. However, the performances of existing CMC algorithms are still unsatisfactory due to the conflict of heterogeneous modalities and the high-dimensional non-linear property of individual modality. In this paper, a novel deep mutual information maximin (DMIM) method for cross-modal clustering is proposed to maximally preserve the shared information of multiple modalities while eliminating the superfluous information of individual modalities in an end-to-end manner. Specifically, a multi-modal shared encoder is firstly built to align the latent feature distributions by sharing parameters across modalities. Then, DMIM formulates the complementarity of multi-modalities representations as an mutual information maximin objective function, in which the shared information of multiple modalities and the superfluous information of individual modalities are identified by mutual information maximization and minimization respectively. To solve the DMIM objective function, we propose a variational optimization method to ensure it converge to a local optimal solution. Moreover, an auxiliary overclustering mechanism is employed to optimize the clustering structure by introducing more detailed clustering classes. Extensive experimental results demonstrate the superiority of DMIM method over the state-of-the-art cross-modal clustering methods on IAPR-TC12, ESP-Game, MIRFlickr and NUS-Wide datasets.

Resumen
The DMI1, DMI2, and DMI3 genes of Medicago truncatula, which are required for both nodulation and mycorrhization, control early steps of Nod factor signal transduction. Here, we have used diverse approaches to pave the way for the map-based cloning of these genes. Molecular amplification fragment length polymorphism markers linked to the three genes were identified by bulked segregant analysis. Integration of these markers into the general genetic map of M. truncatula revealed that DMI1, DMI2, and DMI3 are located on linkage groups 2, 5, and 8, respectively. Cytogenetic studies using fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) on mitotic and pachytene chromosomes confirmed the location of DMI1, DMI2, and DMI3 on chromosomes 2, 5, and 8. FISH-pachytene studies revealed that the three genes are in euchromatic regions of the genome, with a ratio of genetic to cytogenetic distances between 0.8 and 1.6 cM per μm in the DMI1, DMI2, and DMI3 regions. Through grafting experiments, we showed that the genetic control of the dmi1, dmi2, and dmi3 nodulation phenotypes is determined at the root level. This means that mutants can be transformed by Agrobacterium rhizogenes to accelerate the complementation step of map-based cloning projects for DMI1, DMI2, and DMI3.

Resumen
Selection for traits of economic importance is crucial for improving productivity and reproductivity in livestock, including cattle. We investigated the prospects of using growth traits; viz: live-body weight (BW), absolute growth rate (AGR), relative growth rate (RGR), absolute maturing rate (AMR), and Kleiber ratio (KR) as bases for selection in Nilotic cattle, by examining the phenotypic correlations among these traits, using 125 male and 136 female calves reared under traditional husbandry system. In the experimental procedure, the heart girth (HG) and body length (BL) of each calf was measured at birth, and at the age of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16 months; then the BW at each age was derived, and used for estimating AGR, RGR, AMR, KR, and dry matter intake for maintenance (DMIm). AGR, RGR, AMR, or KR was calculated from 0~8 months (AGRα, RGRα, AMRα, KRα), 8~12 months (AGRβ, RGRβ, AMRβ, KRβ), and 12~16 months (AGRγ, RGRγ, AMRγ, KRγ). Phenotypic correlations were determined using the Pearson's correlation method. The results revealed that, BW, AGR, RGR, AMR, KR, and DMIm were inter-correlated. In particular, calf weaning weight (CWW at 8 months), and post-weaning AGRβ, RGRβ, AMRβ, and KRβ (all at 8~12 months` interval) were positively correlated among themselves and with post-weaning BW, but negatively correlated with birth weight and DMIm, and thus, considered the most appropriate selection indices in Nilotic cattle, since these would decrease calf birth weight, thereby reducing dystocia incidences, and increase post-weaning growth, with less DMIm. These results provide the first evidence for possible selection using growth traits to improve productive efficiency in Nilotic cattle.

Resumen
The molecular structure characteristics and wetting behaviors of alkyl binary doped ionic liquids’ (ILs) thin lubricating film on silicon surfaces, which are composed of a (DA) self-assembled monolayer (SAM) and a binary doped ILs layer, are probed by molecular dynamics simulations. In the binary doped ILs layer, 1-carboxyethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([CMIM]Cl) ILs were bonded to the terminal amino (NH2) groups of the DA SAM, and 1-dodecyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([DMIM]PF6) ILs were distributed around the [CMIM]Cl molecules by physical adsorption. Additionally, surface coverage and chain grafting positions of the bonded-phase [CMIM]Cl and the adsorption properties of mobile-phase [DMIM]PF6 were investigated. The simulation results revealed that the optimal surface coverage of [CMIM]Cl on the DA SAM was 50% with a lateral spacing of 2a and a longitudinal spacing of 22a, in which a is the space between the adjacent molecules. Meanwhile, the optimal molecular ratio of [CMIM]Cl to [DMIM]PF6 was 1 : 4, leading to the stablest structure of the lubricating film. Wetting behaviors of thin lubricating film on silicon surfaces showed good hydrophobicity, which is helpful for reducing friction and adhesion. It can be anticipated that the alkyl binary doped ILs’ thin lubricating film is suitable for antifriction and antiadhesion applications on silicon surfaces.

Resumen
The Medicago truncatula DMI2 gene encodes a receptorlike kinase required for establishing root endosymbioses. The DMI2 gene was shown to be expressed much more highly in roots and nodules than in leaves and stems. In roots, its expression was not altered by nitrogen starvation or treatment with lipochitooligosaccharidic Nod factors. Moreover, the DMI2 mRNA abundance in roots of the nfp, dmi1, dmi3, nsp1, nsp2, and hcl symbiotic mutants was similar to the wild type, whereas lower levels in some dmi2 mutants could be explained by regulation by the nonsense-mediated decay, RNA surveillance mechanism. Using pDMI2::GUS fusions, the expression of DMI2 in roots appeared to be localized primarily in the cortical and epidermal cells of the younger, lateral roots and was not observed in the root apices. Following inoculation with Sinorhizobium meliloti, the DMI2 gene was induced in the nodule primordia, before penetration by the infection threads. No increased expression was seen in lateral-root primordia. In nodules, expression was observed primarily in a few cell layers of the preinfection zone. These results are consistent with the DMI2 gene mediating Nod factor perception and transduction leading to rhizobial infection, not only in root epidermal cells but also during nodule development.

Resumen
Global competition and economic globalization are forcing countries' governments to devise encouragement support programs and formulate exporting policies to help SMEs export, compete, and survive in foreign markets. This study examines the mediating role of national export support and encouragement programs (NESEPs) in clarifying the impact of determinants of market environment information on the SMEs' export financial performance (EXFP) and SMEs' export strategic performance (EXSP) based on a resource-based view, which helps understand novel holistic relationships between them. Data from 106 exporting SME firms working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were collected using an online questionnaire survey. Regression path analysis from structural equation modeling was used to test the study's model relationships. The most important positive findings that emerged from this study are: Determinants of market information acquisition (DMIA) will positively influence SMEs' EXFP and NESEP. Determinants of market information dissemination (DMID) will positively influence SMEs' EXSP. Determinants of market information responsiveness (DMIR) will positively influence NESEP. NESEP will positively mediate the effect of DMIA and DMIR on SMEs' EXSP. The study’s theoretical and social implications and limitations are discussed in the concluding sections. Furthermore, directions for future research are provided.

Resumen
Ionic liquid (IL) N-methyl-N-methylimidazoliumdimethyl phosphate ([DMIM][DMP]) and active carbon (AC) binary system were established and demonstrated to be effective for the deep removal of sulfur compounds (Dibenzothiophene, DBT) from model oil at room temperature. Mass ratio of IL to active carbon on the extractive performance, desulfurization temperature, time and desulfurization reagent to model oil were investigated. In the first stage desulfurization efficiency of binary system, IL and active carbon were 65.09%, 51.72% and 47.3%,which was followed the order of binary system > IL > active carbon. It was suitable to carried out desulfurization process with mass ratio of IL to active carbon in 1:1, binary system to model oil in 1:1 for 10 min at 25-45oC. In the optimiazed condition, desulfurization efficiency of binary system was nearly 100% after the fifth stage desulfurization process.

Resumen
Purpose. To investigate the effect of diabetes mellitus induced by alloxan (DMIA) or streptozotocin (DMIS) on the pharmacokinetics of omeprazole in rats. It has been reported that omeprazole is primarily metabolized via hepatic CYP1A2, 2D1, and 3A1 in rats. The expression and mRNA levels of hepatic CYP1A2 and 3A1 increases in DMIA and DMIS rats, but the expression of hepatic CYP2D1 does not change in DMIS rats. In addition, the metabolic activities of intestinal CYP3A1/2 decreases in DMIS rats. Thus, it could be expected that the pharmacokinetics of omeprazole would be affected by changes in both DMIA and DMIS. Methods. Omeprazole was administered intravenously (20 mg/kg) and orally (40 mg/kg) to DMIA and DMIS rats and their respective controls. Results. After intravenous administration of omeprazole, the CLNR of the drug was significantly faster in DMIA (52.6 versus 67.4 mL/min/kg) and DMIS (50.2 versus 73.0 mL/min/kg) rats than the respective controls. However, after oral administration of omeprazole, the AUC was comparable between each type of diabetic rat and the respective controls. Conclusions. The significantly faster CLNR of intravenous omeprazole could be due to increased expression and mRNA levels of hepatic CYP1A2 and 3A1 in both types of diabetic rat. The comparable AUC of oral omeprazole could be due to a decrease in the intestinal first-pass effect of omeprazole caused by decreased intestinal CYP3A1/2 in diabetic rats. Following both intravenous and oral administration in DMIA and DMIS rats, the pharmacokinetics of omeprazole were similarly altered.

Resumen
Abstract There is a growing body of literature that recognizes the importance of network embedding. It intends to encode the graph structure information into a low-dimensional vector for each node in the graph, which benefits the downstream tasks. Most of recent works focus on supervised learning. But they are usually not feasible in real-world datasets owing to the high cost to obtain labels. To address this issue, we design a new unsupervised attributed network embedding method, deep attributed network embedding by mutual information maximization (DMIM). Our method focuses on maximizing mutual information between the hidden representations of the global topological structure and the node attributes, which allows us to obtain the node embedding without manual labeling. To illustrate the effectiveness of our method, we carry out the node classification task using the learned node embeddings. Compared with the state-of-the-art unsupervised methods, our method achieves superior results on various datasets.

Resumen
Rhizobia and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi produce signals that are perceived by host legume receptors at the plasma membrane and trigger sustained oscillations of the nuclear and perinuclear Ca2+ concentration (Ca2+ spiking), which in turn leads to gene expression and downstream symbiotic responses. The activation of Ca2+ spiking requires the plasma membrane-localized receptor-like kinase Does not Make Infections 2 (DMI2) as well as the nuclear cation channel DMI1. A key enzyme regulating the mevalonate (MVA) pathway, 3-Hydroxy-3-Methylglutaryl CoA Reductase 1 (HMGR1), interacts with DMI2 and is required for the legume–rhizobium symbiosis. Here, we show that HMGR1 is required to initiate Ca2+ spiking and symbiotic gene expression in Medicago truncatula roots in response to rhizobial and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal signals. Furthermore, MVA, the direct product of HMGR1 activity, is sufficient to induce nuclear-associated Ca2+ spiking and symbiotic gene expression in both wild-type plants and dmi2 mutants, but interestingly not in dmi1 mutants. Finally, MVA induced Ca2+ spiking in Human Embryonic Kidney 293 cells expressing DMI1. This demonstrates that the nuclear cation channel DMI1 is sufficient to support MVA-induced Ca2+ spiking in this heterologous system.

Resumen
ABSTRACT Sterol demethylation inhibitor (DMI) fungicides are widely used to control fungi pathogenic to humans and plants. Resistance to DMIs is mediated either through alterations in the structure of the target enzyme CYP51 (encoding 14α-demethylase), through increased expression of the CYP51 gene, or through increased expression of efflux pumps. We found that CYP51 expression in DMI-resistant (DMIR) isolates of the cherry leaf spot pathogen Blumeriella jaapii was increased 5- to 12-fold compared to that in DMI-sensitive (DMIS) isolates. Analysis of sequences upstream of CYP51 in 59 DMIR isolates revealed that various forms of a truncated non-long terminal direct repeat long interspersed nuclear element retrotransposon were present in all instances. Similar inserts upstream of CYP51 were not present in any of 22 DMIS isolates examined.

Resumen
Ionic liquids (ILs) are organic salts that have a liquid phase under 100°C. Due to its ionic nature, it has affinity with water as well as organic compounds that make it potential to be developed as solvents with tuneable property. One class of material that possess this property is imidazolium compound which serves as organic cation. Variations of substituents (alkyl or aryl groups) in the parent cation provide several compounds that can be used as medium in various reactions. In this research, the synthesis of several imidazolium based ionic liquids had been performed utilizing Microwave Assisted Organic Synthesis (MAOS) method namely: butyl-methyl imidazolium chloride (BMIM-Cl), Decyl-methyl imidazolium bromide (DMIM-Br), Dodecyl-methyl imidazolium bromide (DDMIM-Br). The ILs were subsequently used as medium in cyclization reactions of diketone to provide an alternative route to flavanon. The structure of the synthesized ILs and the cyclization product were characterized by FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. The yield of the synthesized ILs were moderate (24-87%) while the yield of cyclization reactions was high (99%). The formation of the cyclization product, was clearly indicated by the 1H-NMR spectrum with the peaks that appear at 6.81 ppm as singlet which corresponded to the proton at the pyranone ring.

Resumen
The intensive use of site-specific fungicides in agricultural production provides a potent selective mechanism for increasing the frequency of fungicide-resistant isolates in pathogen populations. Practical resistance occurs when the frequency and levels of resistance are great enough to limit the effectiveness of disease control in the field. Cherry leaf spot (CLS), caused by the fungus Blumeriella jaapii, is a major disease of cherry trees in the Great Lakes region. The site-specific sterol demethylation inhibitor fungicides (DMIs) have been used extensively in the region. In 2002, CLS control failed in a Michigan orchard that had used the DMI fenbuconazole exclusively for 8 years. That control failure and our observations from around the state suggested that practical resistance had developed in B. jaapii. Field trial data covering 1989 to 2005 for the DMIs fenbuconazole and tebuconazole supported observations of reduced efficacy of DMIs for controlling CLS. To verify the occurrence of fungicide-resistant B. jaapii, monoconidial isolates were collected in two surveys and tested using a fungicide-amended medium. In one survey, 137 isolates from sites with different DMI histories (no known history, mixed or alternated with other fungicides, and exclusive use) were tested against 12 concentrations of fenbuconazole, tebuconazole, myclobutanil, and fenarimol. Isolates from sites with no prior DMI use were DMI sensitive (DMIS = no colony growth at 0.2 μg/ml a.i.) whereas the isolates from the site with prior exclusive use showed growth at DMI concentrations 3 to >100 times higher, and were rated as DMI resistant (DMIR). A second survey examined 1,530 monoconidial isolates, including 1,143 from 62 orchard sites in Michigan, where DMIs had been used to control CLS. Resistance to fenbuconazole was detected in 99.7% of the orchard isolates. All isolates from wild cherry trees were sensitive and isolates from feral and dooryard trees showed a range of sensitivities. A polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based detection method for identifying B. jaapii and DMIR was developed and tested. The species-specific primer pair (Bj-F and Bj-R) based on introns in the CYP51 gene of B. jaapii, and the DMIR-specific primer pair (DMI-R-Bj-F and DMI-R-Bj-R) based on an insert found upstream of CYP51 in all DMIR isolates, provided an accurate and rapid method for detecting DMIR B. jaapii. The PCR-based identification method will facilitate timely decision making and continued monitoring of DMIR subpopulations in response to management programs.

Resumen
ABSTRACT After intravenous and oral administration of clarithromycin at a dose of 20 mg/kg of body weight to rats with diabetes mellitus induced by alloxan (DMIA) and diabetes mellitus induced by streptozotocin (DMIS), the area under the curve values were significantly smaller than those of respective control rats. The in vitro intrinsic clearance values for the disappearance of clarithromycin were significantly faster in both rats with DMIA and rats with DMIS than in control rats. The above data suggested that metabolism of clarithromycin increased in both types of diabetic rat due to an increase in the expression and mRNA level of CYP3A1(23) in the rats.

Resumen
To gain further insight into the role of the plant genome in arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) establishment, we investigated whether symbiosis-related plant genes affect fungal gene expression in germinating spores and at the appressoria stage of root interactions. Glomus intraradices genes were identified in expressed sequence tag libraries of mycorrhizal Medicago truncatula roots by in silico expression analyses. Transcripts of a subset of genes, with predicted functions in transcription, protein synthesis, primary or secondary metabolism, or of unknown function, were monitored in spores and germinating spores and during interactions with roots of wild-type or mycorrhiza-defective (Myc–) mutants of M. truncatula. Not all the fungal genes were active in quiescent spores but all were expressed when G. intraradices spores germinated in wild-type M. truncatula root exudates or when appressoria or arbuscules were formed in association with wild-type M. truncatula roots. Most of the fungal genes were upregulated or induced at the stage of appressorium development. Inactivation of the M. truncatula genes DMI1, DMI2/MtSYM2, or DMI3/MtSYM13 was associated with altered fungal gene expression (nonactivation or inhibition), modified appressorium structure, and plant cell wall responses, providing first evidence that cell processes modified by symbiosis-related plant genes impact on root interactions by directly modulating AM fungal activity.

Resumen
Abstract Our objective was to evaluate the performance of Nellore cattle in intensive pasture finishing (TIP), fed for 96 days and submitted to different adaptation periods, aiming to reach 2% of BW of DMI concentrate (DMIc)/BW at the end of the adaptation period. A total of 240 Nellore bulls (iBW 359kg±5.02 kg; 20 mo) were distributed in randomized blocks, allocated in paddocks of 2.4 ha (Urochloa brizantha cv. Xaraés; 10 animals/paddock), with two treatments with 12 replications (paddock as experimental unit). The treatments were: 1) 9 days on adaptation (ADAP9), 2% DMIc/BW on the 10th day; 2) 14 days on adaptation (ADAP14), 2% DMIc/BW on the 15th day. The animals were weighed fasting (± 16h) at the beginning, on day 28, and at the end of the experimental period, the DMIc was measured daily by the difference between offered and leftovers. Data were analyzed using the SAS ANOVA procedure at P< 0.05. Evaluating the period between the beginning and the 27th day, ADAP9 showed greater DMIc (6.9 vs. 6.5kg/d; P=0.009), greater DMIc/BW (1.8 vs. 1.7% BW; P =0.0043) and greater fluctuation in DMIc (9.4 vs. 5.9% DMIc/d; P< 0.001) compared with ADAP14. In the total fattening period, there was no difference between treatments (P >0.05), for DMIc (8.7 vs. 8.5 kg DM/d), DMIc/BW (2 vs. 2% BW), fluctuation in DMIc (4.91 vs. 4.31% DMIr/d), days to reach target (17 vs 20 d), ADG (1.3 vs. 1.3 kg/d), ADG/DMIc (0.127 vs. 0.128), fBW (483 vs. 484kg) and HCW (285 vs. 285kg). The use of an adaptation period of less than 14 days did not improve performance, and therefore would not be recommended.

Resumen
AbstractThe crystal structure of (AsPh4)[Ni(dmid)2 (dmid2- = 1,3-dithia-2-one-4,5-dithiolato) has been determined by X-ray diffraction studies: crystals are monoclinic, space group P21/n a = 14.724(2), b = 14.305(5), c = 15.570(3) Å, β = 92.20(1)°, V = 3277 Å3 , ᵨx = 1.63 g cm-3 for Z = 4, final conventional agreement indices R = 0.038 and Rw = 0.049 for 2115 unique, observed reflections and 211 variable parameters. The asymmetric unit contains one (AsPh4)+ cation and one [Ni(dmid)2] anion, both in general positions. The anions are isolated from each other by the bulky cations. The [Ni(dmid)2]- ion deviates strongly from planarity: the dihedral angle between the two Ni(dmid) moieties is 10.7°; one of the dmid ligand is almost planar, while the second one is severely puckered. Polycristalline powder and single crystal EPR spectra have been recorded at room temperature. Only one signal was observed in all crystal orientations. The angular depend-ences of the linewidth and of the g values have been determined, as well as the principal g values and directions. These results have been compared to those previously obtained for the analogue (n-Bu4N)[Ni(dmit)2 ] (drnit2- = 1,3-dithia-2-thione-4,5-dithiolato), and discussed in terms of the localization of the unpaired electron on the ligands. leading to a formal (III) and actual (II) nickel oxidation state.
