Resumen
The article discusses the basic requirements for electronic commerce information systems that support business. The features of the modular design of electronic trade information systems are characterized and the advantages and disadvantages of independently developed information-but-computational resources are determined. The expediency of using distributed information systems for electronic trade tasks is justified. The concept of distributed information systems involves the use of various technologies and protocols to ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of the system. The architecture of a distributed information system involves the creation of a system with distributed components that interact using standard interfaces and use various technologies for communications. The prospects for the use of distributed information systems are determined and the advantages of using a distributed architecture are analyzed. The article studies the stages of building the architecture of a distributed information system and defines its main components. The architecture of distributed systems can consist of such components as database servers, web servers, applications, security tools, and network equipment, and may vary depending on the specific system and its needs. The types of architectures of distributed information systems and the specifics and features of their application are determined. The article discusses microservices-oriented architecture (Microservices-Oriented Architecture, MOSA), the basic idea of which is that software is divided into small, autonomous microservices that interact with each other using APIs. The use of MOSA for electronic trade information systems allows for increasing the speed of development and implementation of additional functions and ensures scalability and resistance to failures.

Resumen
More complex distributed and intelligent systems which relate to economy, ecology, communi-cations, security and defense, and cover both terrestrial and celestial environments are being developed. Their efficient management, especially in dynamic and unpredictable situations, needs serious investigations and development in scientific and technological areas. Their tradi-tional representations as parts operating by certain algorithms and exchanging messages are be-coming inadequate as such systems need much stronger integration to operate as holistic organ-isms pursuing global and often varying goals. This paper is focused on a completely different paradigm for organization and management of large dynamic and distributed systems. This par-adigm extends and transforms the notion of an algorithm for the description of knowledge pro-cessing logic. Moreover, it allows it to exist, propagate and operate as an integral whole in any distributed spaces which may constantly change their volumes and structures. Taking into con-sideration some organizational features related to dangerous viruses, as well as recent pandem-ics, this ubiquitous Spatial Grasp (SG) model is presented in the paper at philosophical and im-plementation levels, together with the introduction of special spatial charts for its exhibition and studies, which extend traditional algorithmic flowcharts towards working directly in dis-tributed spaces. Utilization of this model for the creation of resultant Spatial Grasp Technology and its basic Spatial Grasp Language, already described in details in numerous publications, is briefed as well. Elementary examples of dealing with distributed networks, collective human-robotic behavior, removal of space debris by a constellation of cleaning satellites and simulat-ing the spread of virus and vaccination against it explain SG advantages over traditional system organizations.

Resumen
The pattern is everything around us. It can represent the world’s regularity, a human-made design, a model, plan, diagram, a standard way of modeling, acting and thinking, a distinctive style or form, a combination of qualities and tendencies, etc. That is why the theory, research, and practical works on patterns are so important for different scientific and technological fields, having also stimulated the preparation and writing of the current paper. The paper reviews existing works on patterns, grouping them by different categories, and briefs the developed Spatial Grasp Model and Technology (SGT) and its Spatial Grasp Language (SGL) with the distributed networked implementation, which provide effective distributed solutions in systems management, control, and simulation by active self-spreading patterns. The article shows how practical patterns can be expressed in SGL, including regular patterns, patterns of concrete objects, and different pattern-based management solutions like coordinating transport columns, finding distributed zone coordinates, and spatial tracking of mobile objects. It also gives network examples of distributed pattern recognition and matching with the use of self-propagating active network templates reflecting images to be found. The paper provides a classified summary of the investigated use of SGL for pattern operations in different areas, which includes descriptive patterns, creative patterns, patterns as spatial processes, pattern recognition, self-matching patterns, combined patterns, cooperating and conflicting patterns, psychological patterns, and recursive patterns. The work concludes with the belief that SGL can be used as a real, very effective, and compact language for pattern representation and operations, and SGT should contribute to the pattern theory and resultant technologies.

This thesis addresses the security, privacy, and economic barriers to implementing blockchain for user's privacy, data governance, software obfuscation and cryptocurrencies models for circular economies. The first part of this thesis covers the preliminaries about blockchain and modern cryptography. The second part presents three main results concerning privacy-preserving consensus, privacy in electronic voting with permissioned blockchain, and control-flow graph obfuscation for software confidentiality. Finally, the third part includes two results based on applied research work with two prototypes of blockchain systems for data governance and cryptocurrencies. The first part of this thesis describes a brief history of the technology around blockchain and its evolution until arriving at the first blockchain implementation (Bitcoin). Then, the most relevant topics on Modern Cryptography used in this thesis are introduced. The second part begins with a new privacy-preserving consensus algorithm for permissioned blockchain. The main contribution of this work is a general construction of blind signature for transaction unlinkability integrated to a BFT-based consensus for transactions and blocks validation. The second result corresponds to a new electronic voting scheme for permissioned blockchain. This work proposed a new privacy-preserving consensus based on Okamoto-Schnorr blind signature for transaction unlinkability and elliptic curve for vote privacy. Finally, a new control-flow graph obfuscation mechanism for software confidentially (e.i for smart contracts) is presented. The third part presents two blockchain implementations. The first is a novel implementation of the ERC20 token standard and a Marketplace on Hyperledger Fabric for circular economies based on plastic recycling. The second one is a blockchain prototype for data governance in healthcare data exchange according to GDPR automatised using smart contracts

Resumen
Distributed virtual reality systems (DVR systems) represent one of the most intensively developing branches of distributed simulation technology to date. Examples of such systems include various human-in-the-loop applications for training, educational and entertainment purposes. Modern DVR systems require sophisticated data exchange mechanisms to provide consistent and at the same time responsive interaction of a large number of heterogeneous components. While many DVR systems have been implemented in the past decade, there is still exists a lack of universal, easily deployable and extensible framework that enables rapid creation of complete systems from scratch. In this work we present the TerraNet framework which is a middleware allowing an application developer to easily implement and deploy medium-sized DVR systems for specific tasks without direct low-level network programming. TerraNet framework provides a high-level application programming interface to create, manage and distribute objects in a shared virtual environment. In paper we discuss overall framework system architecture, its basic features and functionality, as well as possible practical applications.

Texto completo
Resumen
Up to 65% of the energy produced in an internal combustion engine is dissipated to the engine cooling circuit and exhaust gases [1]. Therefore, recovering a portion of this heat energy is a highly effective solution to improve engine and drivetrain efficiency and to reduce CO2 emissions, with existing vehicle and powertrain technologies [2,3]. This paper details a practical approach to the utilization of powertrain waste heat for light vehicle engines to reduce fuel consumption. The “Systems Approach” as described in this paper recovers useful energy from what would otherwise be heat energy wasted into the environment, and effectively distributes this energy to the transmission and engine oils thus reducing the oil viscosities. The focus is on how to effectively distribute the available powertrain heat energy to optimize drivetrain efficiency for light duty vehicles, minimizing fuel consumption during various drive cycles. To accomplish this, it is necessary to identify the available powertrain heat energy during any drive cycle and cold start conditions, and to distribute this energy in such a way to maximize the overall efficiency of the drivetrain.

Resumen
The evolution of the SONET as a transport for future switched digital Broadband-ISDN services coupled with the advances in using subcarrier multiplexing (SCM) as an economical alternative to distribute NTSC and future HDTV video channels, has fueled research in systems capable of transporting both services. The simultaneous transmission of baseband digital signals and SCM, FM video channels on one wavelength has been proposed as a bandwidth efficient and cost effective way to distribute high speed digital signals and a large menu of video channels to subscribers [1], [2], [3], but previous experiments required high bandwidth optoelectronics and had limited power budgets. Erbium doped fiber amplifiers (EDFAs) with their high gain, insensitivity to modulation formats and ease of integration with lightwave systems offer an elegant way to overcome splitting losses in distribution systems. We report an experiment where a single laser was modulated with a signal with RF bandwith of 2 GHz containing 622 Mb/s (SONET STS-12 rate) at baseband, 10 SCM FM NTSC video channels and 3 SCM FM HDTV components. The signals were further transmitted over 15 km of fiber and distributed to 8192 terminals. A system power budget of 49.5 dB was made possible by an in-line EDFA pumped at 532 nm with a gain of 31.5 dB.
