Since the agile manifesto creation in 2001, agile methods have steadily gained popularity in companies. One of the reasons for the enthusiasm towards these approaches is their identified benefits. These incremental and adaptive methods bring more value, allow a reduction in IT development times and improve the quality of the delivered product. However, beyond the design method used, in order for the implementation of a technology to be beneficial to businesses, it must first be accepted and used by individuals. Conducted in collaboration with a French airline company, this CIFRE partnership thesis focuses on understanding the process of technology acceptance during their design phase, using the Scrum agile method. The purpose of this research is to identify the dimensions and factors that promote or hinder technology adoption throughout the design process. In order to address this objective, four studies were conducted using a methodology based on cross-method triangulation in an actual design project. The objective of the first study, which is exploratory, is to assess the Scrum agile method by looking at the work of designers. The second focuses on the social acceptability of the technology: it aims at identifying the perceptions of the users of the technology. The third study considers practical acceptability, which is based on the compatibility between the user, their tasks and the technology itself. The fourth focuses on situated acceptance, which aims at studying the adoption of technologies in their real context of use. Our results confirm the link between the technology design mode and its acceptance. They show the role of the three approaches (social, practical and situated) in technology adoption as well as the influence of many other factors. As a conclusion, we review the main theoretical and methodological contributions of this thesis. We share our thoughts on the contributions of ergonomics in the study of the appropriation of agile technologies. We then present the practical implications of our results in the design of the technological device studied and in the implementation of agile projects. Finally, we discuss the constraints of our studies and the resulting research perspectives

Engineering knows an evolution of its organizational environment and of its tools (digitalisation). The development of collective activity is a valuable resource for health at work and for organisational performance (Caroly, 2010; Clot, 2010). That’s why it is necessary to preserve and protect it. Here, the objective is to determine conditions of activity that can participate to collective dynamics in engineering. Professionals involved are the key stone of this thesis. With our intervention research, we tried to identify the resources and the constraints of an efficient and significant collective activity for actors of engineering. Our working analysis combines two processes: understand to transform (interventional aim) and change to understand (epistemic and scientific aim). From a macro-organisational point of view, the first point is to identify socio-technical resources and constraints of collective activity. Then, we address personal experience, needs and expectations of actors in terms of collective dynamics (micro-organisational level); before designing and deploying interventions with them (meso-organisational level). Finally, we will see how it is possible to (re)-introduce a dialogical activity in the global work. This way permits to (re)-create opportunities for people to spot themselves in the ecosystem (team level) and to have a better understanding of shared practices and mutual expectations. To (re)-open the debate, focusing on the expression of people (rather than the information, only) can help actors to locate them in their work ecosystem and to fall within a matrix this system of work, over-equipped in terms of socio-technical tools

In response to the last financial and economic crisis of 2007/08, many central banks have implied unusual aggressive monetary policies in order to maintain the right amount of liquidity in the economy and hopefully to maintain the economic stability and reboot the growth. Unfortunately, the expansionary monetary policies weren’t enough for the economy recovery, and it has left the world economy with stagnated growth and productivity, poorly performed labour market and extreme inequalities. The outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic has emphasized these fragilities in all economies, and the expansionary monetary policies as emergency response has become a new normality. Are we currently living the hypothesis introduced by Alvan Hansen in the 1930s – a Secular Stagnation? And what is underneath the surface of low-growth and low-productivity economyGoing back through time from the 18th century till today, to explore the origins of growth and stagnation theories at the heart of industrial capitalist civilisation through both the history of economic thinking and the history of economy. This research aims to understand the evolution of economic development from an agricultural economy to an industrial economy and then service economy. It observes in detail the transformation of the economy through each factors of secular stagnation, each of them represents as a building block of economic development: demography, resources, and technology. This research tackles also some of the most urgent problems of the current economy, e.g., aging society, low interest rate, impact of Artificial Intelligence on labour market, inaccurate economy indicators, climate change
Comblez, Coralie. "L'évolution de la considération du luxe à l'épreuve de la digitalisation de la consommation". Thesis, Perpignan, 2020. http://www.theses.fr/2020PERP0028.
This thesis deals with new forms of consideration and valuation of luxury in the fashion and cosmetics sectors as well as the understanding of social changes in terms of consumption, prospects and collective imagination. On the one hand, taking a closer look at luxury, it is necessary to analyze its intimate and intermediated relationship with death and the beyond, through cultural elements based on myths, legends and sacralization, and thus understand the founding place of belief and religion in it. Then, the birth of the internet and of digitalization as we know it today traces all the behavioral and societal changes linked to this digital society, whether in relation to buying, the production of content or the perception of oneself through the birth of trends and the feeling of belonging to a community. Finally, the theme of travel and its different points of connection between luxury and digital, two universes that a priori everything opposes from the beginning, aiming to justify, however, a common DNA much more consecutive than what the 'one might assume
