The construction of a renewed habitability of the contemporary Alpine space requires a profound critical revision of the ways of looking and of the cultures concerning the theme of re-use of the built heritage. Over the last few decades, a sort of crystallization of imaginaries, operational practices and development ideas has emerged around the two terms of re-use and heritage and their ways of interaction, which today is likely to be an obstacle to the construction of new development scenarios for the Alpine region. Trying to imagine new values and meanings of the concepts of reuse and heritage, however, requires the questioning of those patrimonialization cultures that have served as the ultimate framework for the project of the Alpine space. The essay reconstructs those design processes that, starting from a renewed productive vision of the mountain, attempt today to overcome a hypostatized vision of the conventional cultural landscape produced by the patrimonialist paradigm, to embrace a transformative attitude of the heritage based on the materic character of the basic elements of the Alpine space. In particular we want to underline how the contemporary design culture in the Alps is directed to the development of synthetic languages aimed at capturing the stratified and diachronic dimension of the built landscape through metasemic cognitive and interpretative practices. It is an attitude that, against a background of the change in perspective brought about by climate change and environmental issues, allows the maximization of the opportunities and physical resources recovered in the place, perfectly in line with the aptitude for the continuous re-use of the Alpine civilizations of the past, which focuses on the awareness of participating in a constructive process of transformation of the long lasting Alpine territory.

Resumen
In this project, a gamified mediation strategy is proposed for the enhancement of the industrial heritage of Colonia Güell through the Street Escape tool. The general objectives are the conceptualization and design of a mediation strategy and its subsequent evaluation, as well as the analysis of the results obtained. In order to achieve these objectives, an investigation was developed that has as key points the gamification in heritage spaces and the Escape Room tourism. The qualitative methodology used has been a case study that has had the techniques of participant observation and focus group to collect information and behaviors from the ten participants in the game. The Street Escape has been done with two groups, one representing the teenage public and the other representing the youth public, since the tourist and didactic offer of Colonia Güell is insufficient to respond to the needs of young public. Afterwards, the conceptualization, design and evaluation of the Street Escape in Colonia Güell has been carried out. Finally, the results obtained show that the creation of a gamified mediation strategy helps to bring industrial heritage closer to young people.

Resumen
The use of ICT as a resource for the treatment of heritage manifestations in the classroom represents an advance in terms of taking advantage of the potential of heritage as an educational resource and, without doubt, in terms of greater accessibility to it. In this line, the work presented here focuses on the use of ICT to work on intangible heritage in the classroom from a didactic inno- vation within the framework of the initial training of teachers, in which a total of 54 students from the subject of Didactics of Social Sciences: History in the Degree in Primary Education of the Uni- versity of Alicante. This innovation consisted in developing a virtual museum focused on various manifestations of intangible cultural heritage, thus contributing, from the field of education, to its dissemination and promotion, as stated in Law 10/2015 for the safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage (“Ley 10/2015, de 26 de mayo, para la salvaguardia del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial”, 2015). Therefore, from the creation of this virtual museum in the classroom, and from the propo- sals made by the students to work on this type of heritage content, the use of ICT as a tool for the development of resources and didactic proposals focused on the treatment of manifestations of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the primary education stage. In this way, the work is connected, in turn, to the training of future teachers in regard to digital teaching skills. In light of the results, it reveals a divergence between the manipulative use of digital resources and their applicability when working with them in the classroom, since the participants show advanced digital skills when de- veloping their own creations, which contrasts with the scarce presence of educational technologies in the design of specific didactic proposals.

Resumen
Design has proved to be a discipline deeply connected to our daily lives. Its identification as a cultural heritage element is undeniable due to its wide-ranging values. In this sense, the Museu del Disseny de Barcelona has been promoting this artistic field since its creation in 2008. This museum has a relevant social and cultural function as it is the only design museum in Spain. Furthermore, the museum also stands out because of its innovative pedagogical programmes pointed to scholars, university students, families and groups of people with accessibility problems. The aim of this article is to present the Musseu del Disseny de Barcelona from an educational perspective, paying attention to its staff members, facilities, programmes and assessment. The 2018 museum annual report results are an example of its success. In order to accomplish this study, the authors have recently interviewed in-depth some members of the pedagogical team (Serveis Educatius).

Resumen
The sustainability of cultural heritage management of the resources is strongly related to support from local community via participation. It is evident that active community involvement can improve local residents’ quality of life based on better environment, social and economic conditions. However, there is little research into the question of whether the involvement of local community in heritage management derives from a genuine interest and desires to protect and conserve their local heritage assets. In the case of Malaysia, a truly local community collaborative approach is often limited due to the ways in which the community in question is conceptualised and involved in the process. In other words, local community involvement is extremely rare because they have been neglected especially in the decision making process. This has created a negative relationship between local community and government authorities in resource conservation. Therefore, it is pivotal to investigate the influence of the local community attachment towards heritage, in order to understand the local community involvement in heritage management. The attitudes and perceptions of three groups of respondents were examined by using the concept of heritage trail development, as an illustrative example to triangulate the relationship between local community involvement, government administrative structures and tourists’ experiences. The results revealed that, despite the fact the local community is highly attached to the heritage assets; the level of community involvement in cultural heritage management in Malaysia is low due to operational, structures and cultural limitation to engage the local community in both management and tourism development in the Melaka World Heritage Site. This is to say that the participation approach in Malaysia is highly controlled by the centralised government structure. The research recommends that the authorities consider implementing two major improvements in order to develop and maintain a system of sustainable cultural heritage management: Firstly, to overcome the limitations of community participation in the decision making process. Secondly, to consider the community attachment towards cultural heritage elements, before developing tourist attractions in heritage settings, in terms of residents’ emotional and functional attachments.

Resumen
Urban relics, memories of bygone eras, sit desolate and disregarded on the Northern and Southern fringes of the City of Tshwane’s inner-city, also known as Pretoria. Flaking facades, uninviting margins and deflected gazes have resulted in forgotten city  narratives, narratives that are immortalised in these monuments.  These compositions of culture, and remnants of the past, have fallen prey to the swift progress of the city and have been left forgotten as they retreat into the shadows of their former grandeur. Dwarfed by the bustle of the city and it’s towering urban fabric, a generation unknowing pass these urban gems daily, unaware of their past splendour. Existing now only as  urban scars, these buildings become spectators to the continued advancing and changing cityscape, they become invisible remnants of the city’s cultural and historical landscape.  The dissertation aims to generate a landscape design proposal for the Old Staatsmuseum building as an attempt to reactivate one such urban relic, to return it to some of its historic grandeur, and imagining new ways for old buildings to inject meaning into the cityscape. Drawing inspiration from creative industries, such as art, media and functional creations, the project investigates landscape architecture’s potential to; regenerate and remodel buildings into creative sites, prevent their further decay, celebrate their inherent adaptive history and  make them accessible to the new generation of city dwellers and visitors. Furthermore, such an attempt also seeks to connect and enhance the otherwise fragmented urban nature within the City of Tshwane, by connecting the Old Staatsmusem, to its context of the National Zoological Gardens, and further afield to the grassland landscapes of Gauteng. Landscape architecture is therefore used to present an allusion of the “continuation of cultural phenomena through built infrastructure” (Wong 2017:30) and as a catalyst for urban regeneration in the Pretoria inner-city.

Nowadays culture represents one of the pillars that support much of the economy of many countries, among which one is, undoubtedly, Spain. The impact of the tourism in these countries´ is invaluable. In this context, museums are often the reason that prompt the journey itself. Many of today´s cultural institutions have become true sites of pilgrimage within the “religious life” of tourists, an essential place for all travelers to quench their thirst for culture. However, these museums institutions do not always use all communications tools at their disposal to effectively convey their message and provide a different and unique experience to the visitor who comes into contact with the heritage that the institution guards. The management of our culture, which is building colossal blockbuster museums today, seems to have forgotten to communicate a relevant message to the visitor instead Many of them tend to forget to analyze later on whether the messages have been intercepted by or even incorporated in the vistors´minds and knowledge The real function of the museum to its visitors today should be provoke thoughts and ideas that lead to a new way of thinking, in short, seduce them with their own cultural heritage. The science of heritage interpretation applies a number of communication methods to effectively transmit the values of cultural heritage. In the field of environmental heritage or nature heritage, it has proved very useful in visitors´ learning and in creating a greater heritage consciousness. Thus, we considered the possibility of importing these interpretive techniques in the museum field. For this, the Jamtli Museum (located in the Swedish town of Östersund) has been analyzed. This museum is Skansen´s little brother (the museum located in Stockholm, pioneer in many key aspects). Both have introduced, in their respective policies, techniques from the heritage interpretation to create a two-way discourse between public and heritage. We decided to conduct a field research at the Jamtli Museum by doing visitor surveys that wanted to check the teaching effectiveness of these methods at the museum. This has allowed us to open new lines of future research that will intend to explore the hypothetical implementation of techniques from the heritage interpretation, in the so- called “star museums” that have the most social impact on our community. The results aspire to be the starting point for further studies that allow us to generalize the results found in this present dissertation.

Resumen
Culture has been consistently underrepresented in the sustainability debate and often perceived as a constraining factor to modern-day advancement. However in recent years, the broadening development paradigm in the Global South is increasingly asserting culture's indispensable role in sustainable human development. This dominant cultural paradigm mainstreamed by UNESCO is subscribed to by government and other role-players within the domain of culture and urban development. Despite its significant achievements, it however comes with a specific heritage conceptualisation, which is disconnected from local reality and perpetuates a problematic theoretical construct of cultural legacy, which is steeped in a Eurocentric conservation bias with colonial undertones. The thesis argues that this model will not lead to transformative interventions in urban areas that harness the power of culture if its interpretation remains decontextualised and perpetuates an instrumentalised view of culture and cultural conservation practice, inherited from the past. The thesis explores how an alternative conceptualisation of culture, based on the concept of cultural ecologies, can be more meaningful and beneficial in contributing to the theoretical reassessment of the human settlements imaginary. This is achieved through an interdisciplinary literature review and a case study of Bagamoyo, a small urban settlement in Tanzania. Through a systematic diagnosis of this small scale locality, cultural ecologies are foregrounded through the primary lens of the urban public-private interface and framed within a context that is shaped by the dynamics of globalisation. Additionally, the study takes place against the backdrop of a failed UNESCO World Heritage application, which allows me to discuss the undercurrents and invested interests associated with cultural heritage politics and the traumatic impact global conventions can have on local sustainability. It concludes in a proposed approach that repositions culture at the core of social exchange and argues that cultural sensitive development is an ongoing socio-cultural production process. Its potential lies in capturing the layered 'ordinariness' of place and in harnessing the imaginative responses arising from local idioms, practices and traditions as the shared imaginary of tomorrow.

This paper focuses on how a single installation can enhance personalization of the information in cultural heritage museums and enhance the overall experience using interactive digital storytelling and the ability to touch artefacts. Interaction design methods helped establish best practices centring on usability. In the process low- fidelity and mid-fidelity prototypes were created based on the field studies such as obeservations in exhibits and interviewing professionals in different museums. The conclusion could be made that artefact and the purpose of the exhibit as an whole does get more intense if one has the opportunity to touch and make it part of the visitors journey can be said.

Resumen
This thesis is a critical review of Taman Sari, Yogyakarta in particular how the Old City Planning including the Pleasure Garden which has multi functions was established in Indonesia during the ancient time ( in the past ), the development during the Dutch era, and current conditions and how the future generation should take care of the place. The discussions, analysis, synthesis and assumption were done based on the literature study, the ICOMOS Burra Charter, the China Principles for the Conservation of Heritage Sites, and the Indonesia Law in Cultural Heritage. In the research it has been found that Taman Sari which is located in Yogyakarta was built for several reasons and functions, such as resting area, recreation area, practicing area, traditional activities and workshops, meditation area and also defense area. One line of this research is that the use of plants which had been planted in Taman Sari area was related with the tradition, symbolism and the daily needs. As assumption in this research some plants possibly are classified as a Javanese traditional plant. A series of photographs which have been taken from different time support the analysis of this research report. At the end of the report there is a recommendation to the Indonesia Government for maintaining the cultural heritage asset value, because this could be a national valuable asset which could be handed to the future generation. Based on the Guidelines to the Burra Charter define we Cultural Significance as : .....a concept which helps in estimating the value of places. The places that are likely to be of significance are those which help an understanding of the past or enrich the present, and which will be of value to the future generations.

This thesis explores the process of digital transformation of Cultural Heritage and it deepens the topics related to documentation and fruition through innovative technological solutions. The integration of different acquisition methods allows developing digital replicas that, exploiting the potential of augmented, mixed and virtual realities, as well as digital manufacturing, offer new ways of protecting and disseminating Cultural Heritage. Starting from the documentation, innovative experiences of fruition have been structured for each of the case studies addressed. First of all an application of augmented reality for the drawings of the Codex Atlanticus by Leonardo, able to generate three-dimensional interactive models of Leonardo’s machines from their original representations. An immersive virtual experience of the Studiolo at Palazzo Ducale in Urbino, to reveal the hidden meanings in the representations on its walls. The physical and virtual reconstructions of the Caves of Palazzo Campana in Osimo, two solutions aimed at making them accessible while preserving their fragile balance. Finally, the virtual tour of the Pinacoteca of Ancona, to visit its spaces and its collection remotely. These solutions, presenting some innovations both in the documentation and in the fruition, offer an experience of Cultural Heritage accessible "everywhere and to everyone", for a more "advanced" experience, which is not simply a replica of that of the original work of art.

Objectives. The aim of the thesis is to explore the tools related to the cultural heritage in the social media communication strategies of made in Italy historical companies, investigating the actual use of the tools available to strategically enhance the historical experience and to promote the development of engagement processes. Methodology. The research is based on a content analysis developed on secondary data, concerning medium and large companies registered in the “National Register of Italian Historical Firms” of Unioncamere. The calculation of the likebility and shareability indices and the measurement of awareness and engagement levels of the analyzed companies sample, has helped to measure the effectiveness of communication to increase social media engagement. Results. The results of the analysis show that the component of cultural heritage is an intrinsic leverage of engagement. The adoption of metrics such as the likeability rate and shareability rate and the measurement of awareness and engagement levels gave the opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of cultural heritage variables to promote interaction with followers. Research limits. The main limit of the study is related to the chosen analysis perspective, focused only on social media communication policies of historic companies on Facebook, neglecting further social media platforms potentially useful for research purposes. Moreover, the measurement of awareness and engagement indicators is based on time-depending data. Practical implications. This research provides an initial overview of the actions aimed at using the competitive advantage generated by variables related to the cultural heritage. The results could be useful for companies and territories, like the Italian ones, where the image of national cultural heritage represents a strategic leverage of competitive advantage on international markets. 4 Originality of the study. This research is the first example of a large-scale investigation aimed at examinating the tools potentially available for the companies interested in giving value to their historical experience. Resumen
Entropy is a process of gradual decline as a system loses the strength to maintain itself. It begins with disorder and results in complete transformation. As a multi-cultural American, it has been my experience that the maintenance of my Iranian heritage parallels this concept. A method of visual communication that incorporates entropy is able to express notions of impermanence, disorder and transformation. This project is focused on employing entropy in the process of design and image making by using the transformation of my cultural identity as primary content.

Resumen
As a sign, tangible heritage is the most visible trace of the past in our daily life. In constant dialectic with the intangible heritage, it constitutes a physical presence that forces us to take concrete awareness. Knowledge of texts and stories, which for Vitruvius is the high road for the design and construction of a building, is also fundamental in the processes of deconstruction, according to the various stages and different perceptions, through ages and customs, up to retrace the process that transformed it into 'heritage'. The lexicon and the terminology of cultural heritage are in this sense the most important vector of knowledge, enhancement and dissemination. The volume seeks to bring together those who study the language of heritage, from different countries and through different methodologies, and those involved in its management, in order to offer points of view and ideas on the narration and perception of tangible and intangible heritage, in mediation across eras, cultures and identities.

Resumen
This paper focuses on the Mediterranean coastal monitoring actors (i.e. maritime signaling instruments) such as lighthouses, lights, traffic lights. A twofold motivation behind this choice: on the one hand the 110th anniversary - that will be celebrated in 2021 - of the transfer of the management of the lighting service of the coasts from Italian Ministry of Public Works to the Navy. On the other hand, the willing to illustrate how the Systemic Design methodology can represent a strategic element for the enhancement of a coastal Cultural Heritage such as the one represented by lighthouses.

Mass cultural events are organized mass celebrations that generate an impact in the city that produces them appropriating the place where are inserted. These festivities of traditional popular expression construct part of the models and the Organization of these cities. ICOMOS and UNESCO, say that the tangible and intangible heritages are united and intangible heritage is constituted by that invisible part that resides in the spirit of cultures itself. In a regional system they can stimulate the economy of urban centers, reaffirm their identity features and may be heritage of national culture. Urban and regional intervention strategies contribute to a vision and a comprehensive design of urban spaces, and lead to less impact to preserve the history of the place and the event. Main points: conformation of the theoretical framework, the analysis of previous cases and the construction of strategies for the target place.

From the second half of SXIX, the productive organization of the exploitation of rice, in the lower basin of Cebollatí, led to rice villages that have developed into constellations converging qualified second and third level in a particular landscape nodes and attractive, where cultural and natural aspects are combined. Several productive uses have been associated with the structuring of the territory, where settlements formulation designed for production and are organized as semi-autonomous substantive part. The territory is a process and a product of individual and group practices, in which live archaeological heritage - Cerritos assets of Indians, who appeal to the roots and the first inhabitants of our territory, a natural landscape of plains, marshes, lagoons and natural forests, and cultural landscape generated by rice cultivation and industrialization. This work is approached from the territorial perspective: most historic building hardware.

In 2010 the submarine base in Saint-Nazaire was declared ‘Heritage of the XX century’ by the French Ministère de la Culture et de la Communnication. Thereafter it became the symbol of a new approach related to heritage that recognises the tangible and intangible heritage in all its forms, not only restricted to the artifact acknowledged as a ‘monument’. Remembrance, the material assets or the little known places have thus contributed to defining a new urban dimension projected toward the future. The case of Saint-Nazare, relating clearly to the relationship between waterfront and military heritage, encourages us to meditate on the role of urban design in the transformation of the contemporary city. The same principles connect this case study to several other redevelopment operations in the European city and, in particular, the French port cities. Starting from the '80s, in order to face the crisis in the industrial sector, several port cities, including Marseille, Le Havre, Dunkirk and Saint-Nazaire, produced diverse studies and projects regarding their obsolete or abandoned industrial areas, in order to boost port activities and to allocate the vacant places to new activities. Acknowledgment of the value of these port areas as urban resources (as well as cultural heritage) has consented the regeneration of (often previously interrupted or abandoned) economic, social and spatial activity.

Historically, people have tried to adapt the environment to their needs. Today to design adequately an environment it is required to keep on mind all the potential users. Therefore, accessibility has become a basic condition to consider from the very beginning of the any architectural project. So, access to heritage is a right for all the people as a fundamental part of its own culture, which poses the issue: how to intervene in built heritage to make it accessible, which includes monuments, historic gardens and archaeological sites without excessive disturbance. There are important barriers in many heritage sites. Besides, the possibilities for intervention in the heritage are limited due to the needs of conservation as an important part of the culture. The novelty to combine the concepts of heritage and accessibility at first may seem antithetical, because the first looks to preserve existing assets while the second tends to remove whatever is possible to achieve integral accessibility. The thread connecting both ideas is the usability of the property by the entire population. To do so, it is very important to have tools and methodologies to make accessible the heritage and to take into account their special characteristics and needs. Currently, the project "PATRAC Accessible Heritage: R & D for a culture without barriers" (project led by GEOCISA LABEIN and in which the IBV with 22 other partners) has developed a methodology including an analysis of the functional diversity of Spanish population, an analysis of existing barriers in the Spanish heritage, an analysis of the product support that can facilitate access to heritage and at the same time, it is addressing the development of specific products that enable access to heritage for all the people. The goal is to develop products and systems that ensure a safe and comfortable access to the heritage for all citizens, in a reversible way which ensures the compatibility with the cultural assets, in phases of conservation and exploitation of existing buildings. In this context, an example of how to improve horizontal access is the creation of specific floors, which are being developed by AZTECA, ACCIONA and IBV. The idea is to use an in-ground-present irregularities elevated walkways composite tile digitally printed with the original pavement and the proper signals. Such a system improves the accessibility of the path and at the same time allow distinguish the intervention from the original. For the construction of a ceramic surface on high-accessible areas, requirements regarding safety, accessibility and use loads of the pavement should be took in account. Moreover, the resulting product will have to take into account emotional and functional requirements of users. The impact is very high by the novelty of the topic of the project. The devices to be generated will enable to carry out visits without any difficulty for the part of users who today have the biggest problems for access to the property because of their condition. And it will take in account the conservation needs of the heritage as well.

Resumen
The notion of heritage is in constant revision, demanded by new meanings in the city and its inhabitants. The research studied two neighborhoods in Santiago de Chile, their heritage values, and urban imaginations. The hypothesis was proposed that these express the tension between the tangible and the perception of the city at different scales and would be key to articulating architectural projects that solve problems in their communities. Some triggering questions were: What is the relationship between the real (tangible) and the imagined (perception)? What is the role of urban design for the construction of communities and places? A series of reading operations are proposed, which describe the mobile and static areas where conjectures and images rest on two neighborhoods to work with students: World Musicians - Chile Population, in San Joaquín, and San Eugenio in the Central Station district - Santiago. The presentation exposes the process and result of this research project of the UNIACC University Architecture career carried out during the years 2020 and 2021. Keywords: Urban imaginaries, neighborhood, industrial heritage, teaching instruments. Topic: Landscape analysis and management. Cultural landscapes.
The ability to know and enjoy the city's Architectural Heritage has been the main subject of studies by public authorities and the scientific community, specializing in research projects concerning accessibility planning in the last years. This is partly due to the growing trend to promote cultural tourism by promoting the assets themselves and, secondly, the interest to identify and fix issues related to physical accessibility for taking steps to eliminate barriers from the physical environment, especially for those groups of people with disabilities. There are certain parameters to be considered in a study of accessibility, such as gradients or slopes, design and location of furniture and the dimensions of access, among others. The overall objective of this project is to analyze the possibility of using data from Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) to determine and calculate some parameters that allow an assessment of the degree of accessibility of particular physical surroundings with architectural and historical value. The TLS is a surveying instrument for obtaining large number of measures in the form of millions of spatial coordinates in the reference frame of the instrument itself, and in a relatively short time. With repeated measures from different positions successively and subsequent union into a single reference system through the recognition of homologous points, one can obtain a 3D model of a complex environment. The global point cloud obtained complements and integrates with high-resolution digital images and is optimized for better data management. Once optimized the point cloud, can generate digital terrain models, from which and through analysis in Geographic Information System (GIS) can yield a slope map. This information is very important because allows the application of accessibility criteria and evaluation measures to ensure the accessibility of the virtual model of the physical environment analyzed to determine an insufficient width or the presence of steps or other obstacles. The implementation of the proposed methodology to specific cases is to validate its effectiveness. Demonstrate how from the information provided by the laser scanner, can be exploited in a GIS environment, to assess some of the main parameters of physical accessibility for Architectural Heritage.

Resumen
Abstract: The paper examines correlations of architectural culture in Serbia with modern ideas of the twentieth century that were engendered through engagement with concepts originated by Le Corbusier. Based on analysis of primary sources, the paper examines the dichotomy vernacular – modern as a critical point of this correlation. For instance, what was the significance of vernacular or folklore heritage, that Charles-Édouard Jeanneret traced in Serbia in 1911, and how did its value became part of the foundational discourse of the modern movement? What kind of relation to Le Corbusier’s doctrines were forged by modern architects in Serbia of the interwar years, and which lessons learned in his Parisian atelier by collaborators from the late 1930s had been transmitted far and wide in socialist Yugoslavia’s urban planning? This paper focuses on comparative analysis of direct material evidence of sources on the one side and interpretations on the other, with the aim to show more clearly a two-way working of sources, reception and selective transmission through architectural thinking and design process. In sum, the argumentation will aim to elucidate the processes of acknowledgment, emulation, idealization, analytical probing, dogmatization, critique and annihilation of Le Corbusier’s ideas in the long march of modernism’s emancipation and decline in Serbia over the course of the twentieth century.
Digital technicals for the study of the Defensive Heritage: “Puerta de Almenara” and south walls of “Palacio del Gobernador” and “Plaza de Armas” of the Castle of Sagunto (Valencia)The use of digital documentation and registration techniques in Cultural Heritage is becoming more common every day, thanks to its ability to capture a large amount of data in a fast and efficient process. Its high geometric precision, thoroughness, performance retrieved and especially the generation of high fidelity and precision of architectural good assets make these tools optimal for the planimetric surveys. The work of intervention or conservation of cultural heritage requires a previous graphic registration using different techniques available. This article presents a combined method of implementation of various digital techniques that allow to achieve the most accurate graphic documentation possible. The different results obtained from the use of photogrammetry by drone or by manual camera are discussed. It is intended to seek the standardization and optimization of the process of documentation and value of the Cultural Heritage by combining these techniques. These techniques have been used in a real case: the three-dimensional modeling of various parts of the defensive set of the Castle of Sagunto (Valencia), called the “Puerta de Almenara”, which gives access to the square of the same name, on the eastern side and some walls of the fortification. The Castle of Sagunto is a mosaic of the different cultures who occupied it (Iberians, Romans, Goths, Arabs...). The fortification is located on top of a hill of the Sierra Calderona, controlling even the Mediterranean coastal road and the communication route with Aragon. During the last years, the castle has been immersed, for almost 20 years, in various works of consolidation and restoration to initiatives of the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Spain.

Resumen
The arts do not exist in vacuum and cannot be valued in abstract ways; their value is how they make people feel, what they can empower people to do and how they interact with place to create legacy. This research presents insights across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand about the value of arts and culture that may be factored into whole of government decision making to enable creative, vibrant, liveable and inclusive communities and nations. The COVID-19 pandemic has revealed a great deal about our societies, our collective wellbeing, and how urgent the choices we make now are for our futures. There has been a great deal of discussion – formally and informally – about the value of the arts in our lives at this time. Rightly, it has been pointed out that during this profound disruption entertainment has been a lifeline for many, and this argument serves to re-enforce what the public (and governments) already know about audience behaviours and the economic value of the arts and entertainment sectors. Wesley Enoch stated in The Saturday Paper, “[m]etrics for success are already skewing from qualitative to quantitative. In coming years, this will continue unabated, with impact measured by numbers of eyeballs engaged in transitory exposure or mass distraction rather than deep connection, community development and risk” (2020, 7). This disconnect between the impact of arts and culture on individuals and communities, and what is measured, will continue without leadership from the sector that involves more diverse voices and perspectives. In undertaking this research for Australia Council for the Arts and Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture & Heritage, New Zealand, the agreed aims of this research are expressed as: 1. Significantly advance the understanding and approaches to design, development and implementation of assessment frameworks to gauge the value and impact of arts engagement with a focus on redefining evaluative practices to determine wellbeing, public value and social inclusion resulting from arts engagement in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. 2. Develop comprehensive, contemporary, rigorous new language frameworks to account for a multiplicity of understandings related to the value and impact of arts and culture across diverse communities. 3. Conduct sector analysis around understandings of markers of impact and value of arts engagement to identify success factors for broad government, policy, professional practitioner and community engagement. This research develops innovative conceptual understandings that can be used to assess the value and impact of arts and cultural engagement. The discussion shows how interaction with arts and culture creates, supports and extends factors such as public value, wellbeing, and social inclusion. The intersection of previously published research, and interviews with key informants including artists, peak arts organisations, gallery or museum staff, community cultural development organisations, funders and researchers, illuminates the differing perceptions about public value. The report proffers opportunities to develop a new discourse about what the arts contribute, how the contribution can be described, and what opportunities exist to assist the arts sector to communicate outcomes of arts engagement in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

Resumen
The present research aims to understand the current situation of strategic communication and public relations applied in the professional field of fundraising in the cultural heritage environment. It observes the current patterns used in the sector to obtain and generate long-term sustainable funding, through the stimulation of investors and International Cooperation projects from the European Union in line with UNESCO. Two international case studies are compared: Spain and Mexico, through the selection of territorial samples in Malaga and San Luis Potosi. The methodology used is based on a combination of in-depth interviews with key informants and content analysis. In the first instance, the degree of application of communication and public relations tools for strategic purposes to directly attract economic resources to the management of cultural heritage (tangible and intangible) in the region is studied. In line with the results obtained, the current parameters and key indicators of the profile of the fundraising professional in public and private cultural management are presented.

Resumen
Description Ballarat sits on Wathaurong land and is located at the crossroads of four main Victorian highways. A number of State agencies are located here to support and build entrepreneurial activity in the region. The Ballarat Technology Park, located some way out of the heart of the city at the Mount Helen campus of Federation University, is an attempt to expand and diversify the technology and innovation sector in the region. This university also has a high profile presence in the city occupying part of a historically endowed precinct in the city centre. Because of the wise preservation and maintenance of its heritage listed buildings by the local council, Ballarat has been used as the location for a significant set of feature films, documentaries and television series bringing work to local crews and suppliers. With numerous festivals playing to the cities strengths many creative embeddeds and performing artists take advantage of employment in facilities such as the Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka. The city has its share of start-ups, as well as advertising, design and architectural firms. The city is noted for its museums, its many theatres and art galleries. All major national networks service the TV and radio sector here while community radio is strong and growing.

Resumen
Bendigo, where the traditional owners are the Dja Dja Wurrung people, has capitalised on its European historical roots. Its striking architecture owes much to its Gold Rush past which has also given it a diverse cultural heritage. The creative industries, while not well recognised as such, contribute well to the local economy. The many festivals, museums and library exhibitions attract visitors from the metropolitan centre of Victoria especially. The Bendigo Creative Industries Hub was a local council initiative while the Ulumbarra Theatre is located within the City’s 1860’s Sandhurst Gaol. Many festivals keep the city culturally active and are supported by organisations such as Bendigo Bank. The Bendigo Writers Festival, the Bendigo Queer Film Festival, The Bendigo Invention & Innovation Festival, Groovin the Moo and the Bendigo Blues and Roots Music Festival are well established within the community. A regional accelerator and Tech School at La Trobe University are touted as models for other regional Victorian cities. The city has a range of high quality design agencies, while the software and digital content sector is growing with embeddeds working in agriculture and information management systems. Employment in Film, TV and Radio and Visual Arts has remained steady in Bendigo for a decade while the Music and Performing Arts sector grew quite well over the same period.
