Resumen
Smart phone and its applications are used more and more extensively in our daily life. Short delay of arriving data is important to these applications, especially to some time-sensitive ones. To reduce transmission latency and improve user experience, a dynamic decentralized data replica placement and management strategy which works in edge nodes is proposed in this article. It studies the location, access frequency, latency improvement, and cost spent on placing replicas on edge nodes to seek a balance between cost spent for storage and reduced latency. Specifically, dynamic and decentralized replica placement strategy algorithm has load guarantee for edge nodes to avoid overload; it dynamically create or delete data replicas on edge nodes according to the request frequency. Dynamic and decentralized replica placement strategy is decentralized to relieve transmission cost. Experiment results show that dynamic and decentralized replica placement strategy algorithm in edge computing environments can greatly reduce transmission latency, balance edge nodes load, and improve system performance. Dynamic and decentralized replica placement strategy also considers the cost spent for storage, and it pursues a balance between many factors.

Resumen
Decentralized communication technologies (i.e., ad hoc networks) provide more opportunities for emerging wireless Internet of Things (IoT) due to the flexibility and expandability of distributed architecture. However, the performance degradation of wireless communications with the increase of the number of hops becomes the main obstacle in the development of decentralized wireless IoT systems. The main challenges come from the difficulty in designing a resource and energy efficient multihop communication protocol. Transmission control protocol (TCP), the most frequently used transport layer protocol for achieving reliable end-to-end communications, cannot achieve a satisfactory result in multihop wireless scenarios as it uses end-to-end acknowledgment which could not work well in a lossy scenario. In this paper, we propose a multihop data delivery virtualization approach which uses multiple one-hop reliable transmissions to perform multihop data transmissions. Since the proposed protocol utilizes hop-by-hop acknowledgment instead of end-to-end feedback, the congestion window size at each TCP sender node is not affected by the number of hops between the source node and the destination node. The proposed protocol can provide a significantly higher throughput and shorter transmission time as compared to the end-to-end approach. We conduct real-world experiments as well as computer simulations to show the performance gain from our proposed protocol.

Resumen
Machine to machine communication is an important scenario in a 6G communication network. Random multiple access has recently been revisited and considered a key technology for machine to machine communication scenarios due to many advantages such as without coordination setup time. It is a regret that packet collision probability will be extremely higher for random multiple access when massive devices randomly accessing base station. Decentralized power control is an efficient scheme in random multiple access systems which can support intraslot successive interference cancellation to recover multiple collided packets at receivers. However, existing studies of decentralized power control for random multiple access are with the assumption that blocklength of transmitted packets is infinite, which neglects that machine to machine communication is characterized by finite blocklength transmission (i.e., short packet) in 6G. This paper focuses decentralized power control with short packet transmission in random multiple access systems. First, the closed-form expression of signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) threshold for short packets is derived. Then, decentralized transmission power profile is defined based on derived SINR threshold of short packets, which can support intraslot successive interference cancellation deciding at receivers for an ALOHA-type random multiple access system. Further, we propose derivation method to maximize system throughput, which can reduce optimization cost. Theoretical findings in this paper can provide valuable benchmark for short packet transmission with decentralized power control in random multiple access systems.

Resumen
Decentralized networks bring us many benefits, but as networks evolve, many nodes either actively or passively become unreachable behind an NAT or a firewall. This has become a hindrance to the development of decentralized networks, where peer-to-peer communication data transfer between unreachable nodes cannot be accomplished, whether in decentralized file systems, decentralized social, or decentralized IoT. The existing scheme requires a series of centralized servers or requires network-wide flooding for consensus data, which can lead to the loss of decentralized nature of the network and cause flooding bottlenecks, contrary to the design concept of decentralization. In this paper, our proposed scheme uses a structured P2P overlay network to store the indexes of unreachable nodes in the whole network, so that the characteristics of a decentralized network are still maintained while ensuring the efficiency of lookup. When nodes communicate, the transmission channel is established so that both nodes continuously transmit data streams peer-to-peer without relying on the central server. Moreover, the scheme guarantees the security and privacy of nodes’ data transmission and the P2P overlay network without relying on centralized trusted institutions. Finally, we deploy a real cluster environment to verify the effectiveness of each module at different network sizes and prove the overall feasibility of the scheme. The scheme has certain advantages over existing solutions in terms of security, privacy, communication efficiency, device democracy, etc.

Resumen
A new approach to vehicular communication employing equal weights for distance and vehicular speed for centralized and decentralized communication is presented. The main objective of this work, which is to establish utilization expression and characteristics for an optimized balanced vehicular communication is achieved. The technique is based on analyzing effect of communication process (centralized, decentralized) on transmission efficiency and probability of failure. The analysis using utilization function, cluster head selection time, and end to end transmission time. The simulation and analysis concluded that the decentralization approach is more efficient compared to the centralized approach, so combination of both is proved to be effective. The work also uncovered the need for optimization of vehicular speed relative to transmission radius and use of zoning to effectively improve transmission efficiency. Mathematical models are presented that covers a critical relationship between probability of transmission failure, cluster head selection time and end to end delay. Also, an important mathematical expression that considers cluster head selection time and end to end delay and their effect on connection utilization is presented. The work proves that combined centralized and decentralized techniques using balanced weights approach is effective using dynamic weights selection algorithm that determines optimum weights for both used variables (distance, Vehicular speed).

Resumen
Cloud computing started a new era for IT enterprises. It allows the movement of application from local to remote location, massive data storage. Owner has access to centralized or decentralized data storage server, where data management handled by remote vendor. But, the heterogeneous and dynamic nature of cloud introduces security challenges. Among them, access control and integrity checking are most important which incur high consideration. Attribute-based encryption is one of the access control technique which allows integration of access policies, attributes, and encrypted data. In this paper, a new fine-grained decentralized data access control technique with user revocation has been proposed. Here, service provider is responsible for verifying the user authenticity. The proposed schema supports integrity checking and user revocation. The integrity checking proof validates that the user data is intact and revocation mechanism will help to revoke the user in linear time. Moreover, the proposed access control and authentication schemes are decentralized and comparable to other approaches.

Resumen
This paper investigates the scheduling process for multi-area interconnected power systems under shared but band-limited networks and decentralized load frequency controllers. To cope with sub-area information and avoid node collision of large-scale power systems, round-robin and try-once-discard scheduling are used to schedule sampling data among different sub-grids. Different from existing decentralized load frequency control methods, this paper studies multi-packet transmission scheme and introduces scheduling protocols to deal with multi-node collision. Considering the scheduling process and decentralized load frequency controllers, an impulsive power system closed-loop model is well established. Furthermore, sufficient stabilization criteria are derived to obtain decentralized output feedback controller gains and scheduling protocol parameters. Under the designed decentralized output feedback controllers, the prescribed system performances have been achieved. Finally, a three-area power system example is used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheduling method.

Resumen
Caching technique is a promising approach to reduce the heavy traffic load and improve user latency experience for the Internet of Things (IoT). In this paper, by exploiting edge cache resources and communication opportunities in device-to-device (D2D) networks and broadcast networks, two novel coded caching schemes are proposed that greatly reduce transmission latency for the centralized and decentralized caching settings, respectively. In addition to the multicast gain, both schemes obtain an additional cooperation gain offered by user cooperation and an additional parallel gain offered by the parallel transmission among the server and users. With a newly established lower bound on the transmission delay, we prove that the centralized coded caching scheme is order-optimal, i.e., achieving a constant multiplicative gap within the minimum transmission delay. The decentralized coded caching scheme is also order-optimal if each user’s cache size is larger than a threshold which approaches zero as the total number of users tends to infinity. Moreover, theoretical analysis shows that to reduce the transmission delay, the number of users sending signals simultaneously should be appropriately chosen according to the user’s cache size, and always letting more users send information in parallel could cause high transmission delay.

Resumen
The construction of an effective intelligent information transmission system in a group of cyber-physical systems is one of the important problems in both practical and theoretical contexts. Such a system for transmitting information for a group is being built for a network consisting of separate robotic complexes. Increasingly, decentralized solutions are used to build effective interaction between group members. As a rule, in networks, decentralization is present in computing software modules, and the data transmission system between nodes is centralized. One of the aspects of such centralization is the need to send data to a specific destination directly or by relaying through other nodes - routing data in the network. In this work, a method of data transmission in a decentralized network between robotic complexes without reference to routing is proposed. The method consists of the exchange of data on the state of the entire network as a whole between the nodes.

Resumen
In this paper, the reliable control problem for decentralized systems is considered. It concerns the ability of closed-loop system to maintain stability and disturbance rejection properties during arbitrary sensor, controller, and actuator failure without being retuned. The notion of block decentralized robust servomechanism problem with complete reliability is first introduced to address systems with a block diagonal feedback structure. This is followed by establishing two conditions for reliability: (i) systems satisfying certain steady-state interaction characteristics or (ii) systems possessing minimum phase “block” transmission zeros. Accordingly, two types of decentralized controllers are applied to achieve reliable control for these two categories of systems. Simulation examples are also included to illustrate the properties of the reliable control system.

Resumen
In traditional energy production at large-scale, conventional methods are being used, including fossil fuels. This in turn leads to greenhouse gas emissions (e.g., carbon dioxide or CO2) that cause environmental concerns, but also those traditional methods rely on traditional distribution systems, which are burdened with high transmission losses. This paper focuses on a new concept in the energy sector that undergoes transformation from a traditional centralized system to a decentralized one. In reaching sustainability goals, such as net-zero emissions, the energy sector is incorporating renewable energy sources into the energy system. This requires transformation that combines big conventional energy producers with multiple small- and large-scale energy producers (rooftop photovoltaic panels, wind farms and solar plants) in one system. This enormous transformation is a difficult task, but with recent advancements in information and communication technologies, digitalization, the Industry 4.0 paradigm and Internet of Things technology, it is feasible to achieve. This paper provides a review based on keyword bibliometric analysis, and although it cannot be considered exhaustive or conclusive, it provides a picture of the current international research.

Resumen
Undeniably, Internet of Things (IoT) devices are gradually getting better over time; and IoT-based systems play a significant role in our lives. The pervasiveness of the new essential service models is expanding, and includes self-driving cars, smart homes, smart cities, as well as promoting the development of some traditional fields such as agriculture, healthcare, and transportation; the development of IoT devices has not shown any sign of cooling down. On the one hand, several studies are coming up with many scenarios for IoT platforms, but some critical issues related to performance, speed, power consumption, availability, security, and scalability are not yet fully resolved. On the other hand, IoT devices are manufactured and developed by different organizations and individuals; hence, there is no unified standard (uniformity of IoT devices), i.e., sending and receiving messages among them and between them and the upper layer (e.g., edge devices). To address these issues, this paper proposes an IoT Platform called BMDD (Broker-less and Microservice architecture, Decentralized identity, and Dynamic transmission messages) that has a combination of two architectural models, including broker-less and microservices, with cutting-edge technologies such as decentralized identity and dynamic message transmission. The main contributions of this article are five-fold, including: (i) proposing broker-less and microservice for the IoT platform which can reduce single failure point of brokering architecture, easy to scale out and improve failover; (ii) providing a decentralized authentication mechanism which is suitable for IoT devices attribute (i.e., mobility, distributed); (iii) applying the Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) model for the authorization process; (iv) exploiting the gRPC protocol combined with the Kafka message queue enhances transmission rates, transmission reliability, and reduces power consumption in comparison with MQTT protocol; and (v) developing a dynamic message transmission mechanism that helps users communicate with any device, regardless of the manufacturer, since it provides very high homogeneity.

Resumen
In this paper, we consider the cooperative adaptive cruise control problem of connected autonomous vehicles networked by heterogeneous wireless channel transmission. The cooperative adaptive cruise control model with variable input delays is established to describe the varying time-delays induced from vehicular actuators and heterogeneous channel transmission. Then a set of decentralized time-delay feedback cooperative adaptive cruise control controllers is computed in such way that each vehicle evaluates its own adaptive cruise control strategy using only neighborhood information. In order to establish string stability of the connected vehicle platoon with the decentralized controllers, the sufficient conditions are obtained in the form of linear matrix inequalities. The scenarios, consisting of four different cars with three heterogeneous wireless channels, are used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented method.

Resumen
This paper studies the electromechanical transient model and the control strategy of line commutated converter (LCC) and modular multilevel converter (MMC) based decentralized hybrid High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Transmission systems. The decentralized hybrid HVDC system is a new type of topology, and the related electromechanical transient model and control strategy have not been studied well. In this paper, the electromechanical transient model of a decentralized hybrid HVDC system is devloped through mathematical deduction. This model can be easily implemented in electromechanical transient simulation software and meet the time domain simulation requirements of large-scale systems. Then, in order to ensure the safe absorption of the DC power under various conditions, an optimal power flow model considering the decentralized hybrid HVDC system is proposed. Finally, the electromechanical transient model proposed in this paper is verified by the electromagnetic transient model, and the control strategy is validated in a modified New England 39-bus system.

Resumen
Transmission expansion planning is a problem of considerable complexity where classical optimization techniques are unable to handle large case studies. Decomposition and divide-and-conquer strategies have been applied to this problem. We propose an alternative approach based on agent-based modeling (ABM) and inspired by the behavior of the Plasmodium mold, which builds efficient transportation networks as result of its search for food sources. Algorithms inspired by this mold have already been applied to road-network design. We modify an existing ABM for road-network design to include the idiosyncratic features of power systems and their related physics, and test it over an array of case studies. Our results show that the ABM can provide near-optimal designs in all the instances studied, possibly with some further interesting properties with respect to the robustness of the developed design. In addition, the model works in a decentralized manner, using mostly local information. This means that computational time will scale with size in a more benign way than global optimization approaches. Our work shows promise in applying ABMs to solve similarly complex global optimization problems in the energy landscape.

Resumen
Recommender systems make it easier to search with a large amount of content, supplementing or replacing the classic search output with recommendations. In P2P networks, their use can have additional benefits. Because of indexing and search problems, previously added files may not be available to P2P network users. If the user cannot find the file he is looking for, one can provide him with a list of recommendations based on his preferences and search query. The object of research is the process of creating recommendations for users of decentralized P2P networks to facilitate data search. The urgent task of increasing the accuracy of mathematical modeling of recommender systems by taking into account the requirements for reliability and data security during changes in the structure of a decentralized P2P network is solved. An analytical model of the recommender system of a decentralized P2P network has been developed, the main feature of which is taking into account the requirements of reliability and security of recommendation messages. This was done by introducing the following indicators into the general model of the decentralized recommender system – the probability of reliable packet transmission and the probability of safe packet transmission. The developed analytical model makes it possible to conduct a comparative analysis of different methods of operation of recommender systems and to set acceptable parameters under which the degree of relevance does not fall below a certain threshold. The developed mathematical model of the system based on the GERT scheme differs from the known ones by taking into account the reliability and security requirements during changes in the structure of the decentralized P2P network. This has made it possible to improve the accuracy of simulation results up to 5 %. The proposed mathematical model could be used for prototyping recommender systems in various fields of activity

Resumen
Blockchain may be an optimal solution when a detailed and transparent record of assets is necessary. It is imperative to manage and safeguard digital interactions or maintain a decentralized and shared system of records in applications, such as those used for electricity production, transmission, distribution, and consumption and those used for data sharing and secure payments. Such applications can benefit from blockchain technology to resolve these problems. In the proposed blockchain-based consumer electronics data sharing and safe payment framework, an innovative IoT meter detects monthly consumption and transmits the data to a decentralized application that is stored in the blockchain. This decentralized platform will generate the bill and provide incentives for legitimate consumers. Finally, the end-to-end latency and throughput were used to evaluate the performance of the proposed approach.

Resumen
Several areas of wireless networking, such as wireless sensor networks or the Internet of Things, require application data to be distributed to multiple receivers in an area beyond the transmission range of a single node. This can be achieved by using the wireless medium’s broadcast property when retransmitting data. Due to the energy constraints of typical wireless devices, a broadcasting scheme that consumes as little energy as possible is highly desirable. In this article, we present a novel multi-hop data dissemination protocol called BTP. It uses a game-theoretical model to construct a spanning tree in a decentralized manner to minimize the total energy consumption of a network by minimizing the transmission power of each node. Although BTP is based on a game-theoretical model, it neither requires information exchange between distant nodes nor time synchronization during its operation, and it inhibits graph cycles effectively. The protocol is evaluated in Matlab and NS-3 simulations and through real-world implementation on a testbed of 75 Raspberry Pis. The evaluation conducted shows that our proposed protocol can achieve a total energy reduction of up to 90% compared to a simple broadcast protocol in real-world experiments.

Resumen
The emerging concern about data privacy and security has motivated the proposal of federated learning. Federated learning allows computing nodes to only synchronize the locally- trained models instead of their original data in distributed training. Conventional federated learning architecture, inherited from the parameter server design, relies on highly centralized typologies and large nodes-to-server bandwidths. However, in real-world federated learning scenarios, the network capacities between nodes are highly uniformly distributed and smaller than that in data centers. As a result, how to efficiently utilize network capacities between computing nodes is crucial for conventional federated learning. In this paper, we propose Bandwidth Aware Combo (BACombo), a model segment level decentralized federated learning, to tackle this problem. In BACombo, we propose a segmented gossip aggregation mechanism that makes full use of node-to-node bandwidth for speeding up the communication time. Besides, a bandwidth-aware worker selection model further reduces the transmission delay by greedily choosing the bandwidth-sufficient worker. The convergence guarantees are provided for BACombo. The experimental results on various datasets demonstrate that the training time is reduced by up to 18 times that of baselines without accuracy degrade.

Resumen
This paper presents a grid impact assessment of a 5 MWp photovoltaic-based distribution unit on a 33 kV/23 MVA power distribution network with high penetration of renewable energy generation. The adapted network has an average load demand of 23 MVA, with a 3 MWp centralized PV system, and a number of decentralized PV systems of a capacity of 2 MWp. A grid impact assessment is done to an additional 5 MWp of PV generation as a centralized system as well as a number of decentralized systems. Power flow analysis is conducted to the grid considering different generation loading scenarios in order to study grid performance including active and reactive power flow, voltage profiles, distribution power transformers loading, transmission lines ampacity levels, and active and reactive power losses. On the other hand, the distribution of the decentralized systems is done optimally considering power distribution transformer loading and available area using the geographical information system. Finally, an economic analysis is done for both cases. Results showed that grid performance is better considering decentralized PV systems, whereas the active power losses are reduced by 13.43% and the reactive power losses are reduced by 14.48%. Moreover, the voltage of buses improved as compared to the centralized system. However, the decentralized PV systems were found to affect the power quality negatively more than the centralized system. As for the economic analysis, the decentralized PV system option is found slightly less profitable than the centralized system, whereas the simple payback period is 9 and 7 years, respectively. However, decentralized PV systems are recommended considering the technical implications of the centralized PV system.

Resumen
After the coronavirus pandemic struck in 2020, administrative agencies around the globe imposed strict lockdownsin every sector. The biggest of them was imposed in India. The only things allowed were the essential services likemedical and grocery. But due to the sudden panic of the unknown disease, there was a huge rush to buy andstockpile items. Long queues and crowds were developed, which may have led to rapid transmission of the virus. We, as a team, tried to find a solution by putting their shops online so that they could take orders remotely anddistribute them without the risk of long queues and infection. Gromore Shoppe was developed to make thesesmall local shops online. Retail owners can now catalogue their products on the web and take orders from thelocality. They can process them quickly and distribute them with minimal risk of contact. This solution will firstintroduce them to the web and its benefits and make them sufficient enough so that they can even expand easilyand effectively

Resumen
Data collaboration enables multiple parties to pool data for deriving meaningful data insights. However, data misuse and unlawful data collection have led to precautionary measures being imposed by individual organizations to guide against data leakage and abuse. As a response, decentralized federated learning (DFL) has emerged as an attractive paradigm to facilitate data collaboration while being amenable to privacy-preserving data and knowledge sharing, cost reduction, and prediction accuracy improvement. Unfortunately, the participating parties in DFL tend to be heterogeneous with skew datasets and uneven capabilities. Inevitably, training and transmission costs, and the presence of free-riders pose challenges to the adoption and participation of DFL. The absence of centralized parameter servers further exacerbates the problem of evaluating the contribution of each individual party. Therefore, an effective incentive mechanism is essential to promote data collaboration. In this paper, we propose a novel Incentive-aware Decentralized fEderated leArning (IDEA) framework for facilitating data collaboration. Specifically, we first design a customizable reward scheme for heterogeneous parties to optimize their respective objectives such as higher model accuracy, communication efficiency, and computational efficiency. To reward fairly to deserving parties while offering flexibility, we propose a novel multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) incentive mechanism, which enables heterogeneous parties to learn their own optimal collaboration policy. We then design an efficient decentralized data collaboration algorithm that supports the customizable reward scheme based on individual objective-specific collaboration policy. We theoretically prove that the algorithm achieves a Nash equilibrium, which ensures the fairness of the corresponding rewards for parties. We conduct extensive experiments to evaluate the performance of our proposed framework against four baselines on five real-world datasets. The results show that IDEA outperforms state-of-the-art methods in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, and accumulated reward.

Resumen
<p>This article investigates the finite-time decentralized event-triggered feedback control problem for generalized neural networks (GNNs) with mixed interval time-varying delays and cyber-attacks. A decentralized event-triggered method reduces the network transmission load and decides whether sensor measurements should be sent out. The cyber-attacks that occur at random are described employing Bernoulli distributed variables. By the Lyapunov-Krasovskii stability theory, we apply an integral inequality with an exponential function to estimate the derivative of the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals (LKFs). We present new sufficient conditions in the form of linear matrix inequalities. The main objective of this research is to investigate the stochastic finite-time boundedness of GNNs with mixed interval time-varying delays and cyber-attacks by providing a decentralized event-triggered method and feedback controller. Finally, a numerical example is constructed to demonstrate the effectiveness and advantages of the provided control scheme.</p>

Resumen
The Microgrid is modern small range of centralized electricity system. It achieves specific local goal such as reliability, carbon emission reduction, diversification of energy sources, and cost reduction. Microgrids are an ideal way to integrate renewable sources. The Microgrid is motivated by many factors such that , the need to integrate more renewable power to mitigate the global warming., increasing interest in connecting more Distribution Generation as a way to postpone large investment in transmission and bulk generation and the need to increase the reliability of the power system overall to minimize distribution losses. In microgrid the power generation is mainly depends on renewable energy sources. The renewable sources are unpredictable, so to maintain the system stability in uncertain environment is very difficult. During the changes in microgrids, it is to satisfy the demand with minimum tracking time and to stabilize the system. In order minimize the tracking time for attaining the system stability, robust PID control method is proposed. The simulation has been done in MATLAB/Simulink with required formulation.

The aim of the work is a comparative evaluation of the epidemic process manifestations and the leading factors of serous meningitis (SM) pathogens and enteroviral etiologyherpetic angina (HA) transmission. Materials and methods. Manifestations of the epidemic process of SM and HA were studied according to the official registration of the incidence of the population of Perm for the 2010-2016. 1464 water samples of the distribution network, 178 samples of water from decentralized sources of water system, 293 samples of surface water, 117 samples of bottled water, and 57 wipe samples from the surface of vegetables and fruits were studied usingpolymerase chain reaction (PCR)for the presence of markers of non-polyemic enteroviruses (NEV). In conditions of analytical “case-control” method the epidemiological survey of 350 epidemiological focuses of SM and 142 focuses of GA were conducted. Results. The findingsclearly demonstratethat it is similarity betweenepidemic process manifestations of SM and enteroviral etiologyHA. In both clinical variants of enteroviral infection, the priority role is the water way of transmission of the pathogen by drinking water from centralized and decentralized sources of water system, as well as swimming in surface water. The water transmission way is activated in the summer-autumn period of the year due to the increase in the number of emergency situations on the water supply networks, as well as due to the swimming factor. The role of bottled water as well as vegetables and fruits as factors of transmission of enteroviral infection has been revealed.

Resumen
This article addresses the problem of estimating the state of a multimachine power system (MPS). To work with power networks with lossy transmission lines, a variation of the classical third-order MPS is proposed by considering generators’ electrical power injected into the grid as a state variable. Based on a linear decentralized estimation model (tailored for a specific purpose), the state variables of generators (load angle, relative speed, and electrical power) together with terminal voltage magnitudes are estimated in a decentralized fashion through two new robustly convergent linear Luenberger estimators, one based on load angle measurement and the other based on relative speed measurement. The new MPS estimation model includes a set of robustly quick observable states, one per machine, which allows capturing the interaction with other generators, transmission line losses, unknown disturbances, and model errors. The result is a design superior to other related estimation techniques such as the extended Kalman filter (EKF) or Sliding Modes Perturbation Observer (SMPO) in terms of (i) a conventional-like simple pole placement-based tuning, (ii) low online computational load and disturbance rejection capability, and (iii) small gain-based convergence assessment. The performance of the proposed state estimation scheme is illustrated in a 3-machine power system under different operational conditions.

Resumen
This paper proposes a novel multiuser (MU) multiplexing scheme for temporally correlated multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) channels, suitable for systems employing low-rate feedback links. A decentralized solution is obtained by the mobile receivers, which employ interference rejection combiner (IRC) linear filters and command the update of the corresponding per-user antenna transmit weights through compact feedback messages, thus avoiding explicit transmission of channel information. The proposed limited-feedback algorithm outperforms existing MU-MIMO solutions employing quantized matrices, operating at the same feedback overhead. A compensation mechanism is presented, which enables the proposed solution to operate under moderate probabilities of feedback errors, at the expense of a small downlink overhead.

Resumen
In recent years, power systems are being operated nearer to their limits due to economic competition and deregulation. Also, nowadays the challenge is to include large and ever increasing amounts of decentralized generated power into the existing transmission network and at the same time comply with the electricity market transmission demands. Both factors increase the risk of blackout. After which, power needs to be restored as quickly and reliably as possible and, accordingly, detailed power system restoration plans are required. The multilayer perceptron network is chosen for a more precise examination.
