Sini, Alessandra. "« Danza di ricerca » : corporéités, espaces et discours en mouvement. : Les pratiques chorégraphiques de Fabrizio Favale, Michele Di Stefano, Alessandra Sini (Italie, 1995-2010)". Electronic Thesis or Diss., Université Côte d'Azur, 2024. http://www.theses.fr/2024COAZ2013.
Texto completoAt the crossroads of dance history and aesthetics, this thesis proposes an analytical and poetic approach to the research processes that Italian choreographers Fabrizio Favale, Michele Di Stefano and Alessandra Sini undertook between 1995 and 2010. Their singularities as well as the choreographic concepts and strategies they share, illustrate the vitality and critical scope of the artistic networks active in a significant period of recent Italian dance history. Among the expressions defining the contemporary dance experiences of the same period, the emic category “Danza di ricerca” is proposed here to identify a constant approach in their experimentations, which have transformed over time, through encounters and in relation to the cultural policies in which they are embedded. The embodied memory of the author of this thesis as a dancer, choreographer, spectator and witness is tested using the tools of choreographic, movement and transmission analysis provided by dance studies. The analysis of the choreographers' personal archives, the study of audiovisual, textual and graphic documents of performance events as well as interviews with the choreographers, some of the dancers from their companies and some personalities who played a significant role in their artistic careers, complete the collective portrait of a generation of choreographic artists who contributed to the development of Italian contemporary dance, in relation and resonance with international experiences

Texto completoIn this research we analyze the dynamics of linguistic contact with the Italian language, dialects and regional varieties described by adult immigrants and their sociolinguistic representations of these varieties. Our study is based on a corpus of fifty audio-taped conversations gathered in the Emilia-Romagna region (in Bologna and Forlì) and realized at immigrants’ work places. The acquisition of dialects and regional Italian varieties has also been considered in some linguistic studies on immigration but they have mainly highlighted the use and attitudes of migrants, underlining their role in the experience of linguistic learning in some regions of the North and of the South of Italy. Neverthless, linguistic socialization practices, which involve the endogen plurilingualism, seem to be less studied and they are the focus of our research which examines the role of dialects for immigrants in their journey since their arrival in Italy and in relation to their personal social network. We considered the role of linguistic socialization practices at work places for repercussions on social and linguistic integration in the host country

Texto completoThe geographical area concerned is the Salentino, a specific zone in the south of Italy situated in the region of the Pouilles. The dialect (the Salentino) is usually used today alternately with the Italian language. The studied theme is the phenomenon known as tarentisme or the dance of the tarentula which can be observed in the Pouilles which has been rehearsed each year since centuries for the Saint-Paul and Saint-Pierre festivals, is above all a dance destined to expulse, through the music, an animal symbol (the tarentula) from a person, most often a woman, who presents herself and is considered to be “possessed” by a spider spirit. The geographical area concerned is the Salentino, a sordid region situated in a specific zone in the south of Italy. The perspective study adopted is ethnology which methodically permits an interdisciplinary orientation by adopting a completely new approach in relation to much literature on the subject. The tarentisme appears today as a phenomenon which has profoundly changed. Since a few years in the south of Italy there is a large recovery of what is known as Pizzica or music connected to the tarentisme
Portelli, Aurélien. "L’Histoire Contemporaine de l’Italie sur grand écran : pouvoir et société dans le cinéma historique italien de 1954 à 2006". Nice, 2007. http://www.theses.fr/2007NICE2013.
Texto completoThe Risorgimento, the drastic social changes of the late XIX th and the early XX th Century, the mutations of the fascism and the reality of the antifascist have been the subject of a great amount of Italian movies between 1954 and 2006. This period constitutes an ideal investigation field to analyse the film makers discourses on the contemporary history of the peninsula. New problematics appeared a few years before the « Golden Age » of the Transalpine cinema. The evolution of those interrogations during the following decades confirmed the interest of the film directors (shared to a certain point with the critic and the public) for the quite tumultuous past of Italy. The aspects of the revolutionary commitment, the dysfunctions of the national model, the relationship between the ruling classes and the working masses, the disintegration of the army during World War I, the attitude of the population towards the fascist regime, and finally, the Southern question – diagonal crossing the whole studied corpus– represent the main themes tackled in the historical Italian movies. Thanks to various cinematographic approaches, authors have therefore determined several types of battles of wills between the power (as diverse as it may be) and the individuals. From that point of view, the importance of the fictions of Luchino Visconti, Florestano Vancini or Francesco Rosi, to only quote them, proves once again that the historiography cannot only be limited to analyse the historian work
Cornez, Élodie. "Les langues du théâtre italien contemporain". Thesis, Lille 3, 2015. http://www.theses.fr/2015LIL30003.
Texto completoThis doctoral dissertation deals with the use of dialectal languages in the contemporary Italian theater. Indeed, these languages remain an important source of inspiration in the most innovating creations of the last thirty years, in spite of the paramount place the Italian language has come to have in the whole national territory since the Italian Unification. This study deals with the values and with what is at stake in these dialectal languages in today's theater which is, most of the time, created by actors-authors: therefore, the relationship between the artist, who is both creator and performer, and dramatic language, relies on a way of tackling the linguistic element that is fundamentally precognitive and corporal as well. After having cleared up the linguistic dynamics in the Italian theater since the Unification ; the study focuses on the work of five contemporary actors-authors: Marco Paolini, Ascanio Celestini, Spiro Scimone (Compagnia Scimone Sframeli), Emma Dante (Compagnia Sud Costa Occidentale) and Enzo Moscato. Studying the work of these artists, as well as a specific play, intends to draw up a cartography of the contemporary Italian theater that is inspired by dialect languages to create its own dramatic language. The study aims to lay emphasis on the convergence lines of creations which deals with three key notions, at the core of the study: time, territory and identity. These three notions will be progressively redefined and precised by working on the idea of limit and boundary

Texto completoThis thesis offers a joint study of public transport networks and urban spaces in Rome, from a long term perspective, focusing on their political and technical dimensions. It is situated within contemporary debates on the relations between mobility and land-use occupation, which have recently been revitalized by the application of the principle of sustainable development to the city. Whereas the “Eternal City” has long been known for transport deficiencies and urban planning failures, analysis of the transport system and of daily mobility in the Italian capital establishes the common and specific traits of the Roman case, which is usually presented as an “anomaly” among European capitals. We then move on to a historical exploration of the interactions between the development of public transport and urbanization in Rome from 1870 to the present day. The evolution of accessibility in a representative urban area constitutes the main thread in a cross-analysis of public policies. A study of the administrative and technical pathways that determined the implementation of networks and of land-use occupation reveals the slow development of debates, the recurrence of problems and the inertia of configurations in the field of transportation and urban planning. Finally, the “reformist” urban policies introduced between 1993 and 2008, in an attempt to respond to the new challenges of sustainable urban development, are subjected to critical analysis in the light of identified legacies. The examination of the modalities and actors of both infrastructural modernization and planning innovations underlines the persistence of conflicts between competing actors within urban policies. A large-scale study of the major urban projects of the last decade bears witness in the end to the gap between political rituals and the reality of territorial evolutions
Lapia, Roberto. "La domination espagnole en Sardaigne (1479-1720) et la littérature sarde contemporaine". Thesis, Paris 10, 2020. http://www.theses.fr/2020PA100037.
Texto completoThis research analyses how and why the most recent Sardinian literary production updates the presence of the Spanish in Sardinia (1479-1720). It mainly focuses on the attention that Sardinian authors pay today to the Spanish domination on the island but also to the revival, in new forms, of the genre "historical novel". The aim of the work is to understand the reasons for this recovery of history from the literature, and to study through what modalities this need for memory manifests itself. The research is based on a literary corpus composed of ten novels and two short stories writings between 1986 and 2017. The texts chosen are the work of nine authors: Francesco Abate, Paola Alcioni, Giulio Angioni, Sergio Atzeni, Anna Castellino, Pietro Maurandi, Carlo A. Melis Costa, Nicolò Migheli et Raffaele Puddu, belonging to the current called "new Sardinian wave". These texts are all based on the period of Iberian influence in Sardinia. Thanks to these works, which have been widely disseminated, the Spanish period returns to the contemporary imagination. This return to historical memory is manifested, at the literary level, by its own characteristics: the constant presence of a hybrid language; the importance of orality; original use of historical material in the narration; an "other" point of view on events. This corpus has been analysed according to paradigms developed within the framework of the “neo-historical” novel (Benvenuti, 2012 and Domenichelli, 2011), studies on the South and subaltern (Gramsci, 1975 and 2008, Said, 1980 and 2000, Chambers, 2003 and 2006), and according to a “micro-historical” approach (Ginzburg, 1976 and 2006)
